Taming The Tongue--Take A Selah Moment.

Psalm 4:2, 4:4, 9:20 Proverbs 15:4, 18:21;  1 Peter 3:10; Amos 3:3; Matthew 12:34; Luke 6:45; Psalm 78:40-42; Proverbs 14:12; 1 Corinthians 1:27

We are walking in today:  Taming The Tongue--Take A Selah Moment.

Psalm 4:2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? SelahPsalm 4:4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.Psalm 9:20 Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.Proverbs 15:4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

1 Peter 3:10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

Thank You God for coming on the line this week, teaching us what to speak also that we check what we allow spoken over ourselves or what others speak.  We have been given the ability to agree or disagree.  Why not get into agreement with what God has already decreed and out of agreement with the erroneous ways of the world?!  As we know in the scriptures,
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?  So what you are speaking lets us know who you are walking with.  We have been told many times on this line that this is a faith walk, who are you walking with?  Who are you speaking like?  Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.  Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.  So do your words reflect you to be of the generation of vipers or the good man who speaks the good from out of his heart?!  This is a time for a self check!  If you have been walking contrary to God and His word, now is the time to get it right!  Psalm 78:40-42 40) How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert! 41) Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. 42) They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.  Fiveamprayer we must take this time in our weekend meditation to take a selah moment and consider all that we have learned this week.  That we would immediately put into practice what we have learned, now that our eyes have been opened to see more of what God has been teaching us on the power of life and death being in the tongue.  This is not just one scripture that we can say, but really make it a part of our lives and daily interactions.  Our words can halt, detract or mislead someone else, whether by our knowing or not.  We must be aware and consider.  How many things have been said to you that effected you and even years later you may be still reeling from the affects?!  Selah.  Let us not be hasty and rush in when reflection on God given revelation is the move we should make!  Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. 1 Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.  Two great scriptures from God to consider before speaking.  We have got to let go of the deceit of the enemy that we know better than God.  That we have found out or made a better way than the Maker of All Things!  As Pastor Taffe has said, once you make your own world and universe you can make those big decisions but until then, shush!  Thank You God for sending us this word and for the blessing of revelation as we walk through this study!  Thank You for your willing and humble servant Sandy Bell who is spending time in study of taming the tongue.  We pray that you would pour back into her for all that she pours out on this line, fill her Lord to the overflow and continue to keep her close to you as she resides in Your presence!  Amen!  Bless Your name!  To hear this again click here

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit:
I will take time to reflect and see if this is God's word or my own before I speak!  Thank You Holy Spirit for urging and correcting my words before they pass my lips!  We have to walk as Jesus walked, doing and saying what we see our Father do.

Isaiah 30:20-21 20) And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: 21) And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Proverbs 22:15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.Proverbs 23:13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.

Thank you, Sandy Bell for delivering this word on the silent tongue.  We have to determine when silence would be golden or when we are to speak what God has given us to speak!  Lord we pray that You would pour back into her for her time in preparation for this study on the tongue.  Thank You Lord for sending us this word in this time and season!  To listen to this message, click here.

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit:  I will not be silent!  I will speak it in love, telling others what thus says the Lord!

Speak what God speaks, His word does not fail nor return to Him void! Lord we pray that You would pour back into Sandy for all that she poured out on the line, fill her to the overflow. Thank You for her obedience and willingness to serve You! Amen! Let us rehearse in our hearts today, 'anything is possible for me if I believe!'

James 1:6-8 6)But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7) For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8) A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

This morning we are learning about the effects of what we speak over ourselves and what we allow others to speak over us. You are God's beloved creation! How dare you speak poorly of yourself or allow others to do the same! We are made in His image and likeliness! We must speak and carry ourselves according to what the Father has already decreeded in our lives! We thank Sandy for her obedience and we pray that You, Lord would pour back into her for preparing this lessson this morning! Thank You for teaching us how to speak what You speak! Amen!

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit: Lord, let us speak what You speak. Let us see ourselves as You see us!

We are walking in today:  Hold On To The Word!

Luke 8:10-15 10) And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. 11) Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12) Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. 13) They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. 14) And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. 15) But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patienceWhen we think about the word that God gave us on yesterday, replace your need to know with what you know about God, we have to truly begin to hold on to the word.  Jesus explains in this parable that the word is the seed.  That some of us calls into this prayer line and get a word that it could be choked out by things in your life.  1 John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.  Hold on to His word in your marriage, in your finances, in your health!  We have to walk this out by faith--hold on to the word of God!  The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy.  We have to hold on to the word of God that the seed takes root and is really in you.  As we walk through the Book, that we see Jesus teaching us that we have to walk by faith and not by sight.  Revelation 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. We have to hold on to the word of God, that is how we will be transformed, by His word!  His word is a seed and must be planted.  Think about the tests, trials and tribulations that often have us in fear, we must stand on the word God--2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.  Psalm 56:4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. We must replace the need to know with what we know about God.  Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Hold on to His word, fiveamprayer--it shall not be reversed and it stands forever! God hears His word, hold on to that! Because God and the word are one!  John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.  We have to walk in the word of God.  We must stay prayed up.  Job 22:21-22 21) Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. 22) Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.  Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.  The word is the seed of your life.  2 Corinthians 9:9-11 9) (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10) Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11) Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.   The more word planted the more we know who our Father is!  The more word planted, then we know that we are more than conquers!  Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Isaiah 61:5-7 5) And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. 6) But ye shall be named the Priests of the Lord: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves. 7) For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.  Hold on to the word of God.  Though He slays me yet, I will trust Him!  We are to always acknowledge Him.  He gave us so many scriptures on yesterday and on Wednesday, thank You God for sending us Your word!  Psalm 130:5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. God gives us daily bread, He is raining down manna from heaven.  If we seek Him we will find Him. His word is the only thing to keep, sustain, and give you joy and peace!  Look to God, He is the only God, who can do it!  We have to find that we trust and believe in His word.  We can pray that the Lord is my Shepherd, we shall not want! We can stand on and confess that healing is the children's bread--Psalm 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.  We are looking to the hills because our help comes from the Lord!  We know that weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning.  We can ask Him to cover us with His blood, there is still power in the blood!  Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord, delivers us out of them all!  Hold on to God's word, replace your need to know with what you know about God.  He will do above what you could ask or think.  The word of God is a seed.  We have been given a book full of seeds!  From Genesis to Revelation  it will keep you and sustain you.  We have to walk in the word, what did God say?  Not CNN or NBC, hold on to the word of God!  Let those that speak to you have this scripture written in their hearts--Exodus 4:15 And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.  That they are only looking to speak what thus says the Lord!  This is how you are able to not look at your situation or what you are going through.  Get you a scripture that you can speak and stand therefore, on!  2 Samuel 23:2 The Spirit of the LORD spake by me, and his word was in my tongue.
We have so much to be thankful for.  When we look back over our lives we have so much to be thankful for.  God keeps showing His glory and His face on fiveamprayer!  We know that His word is true and we can depend on His word.  2 Samuel 22:31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. Knowing the truth, will make you free.  Psalm 31:5  Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.  Psalm 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.  So we must replace what we need to know, with what we know about God!  We have got to get this!  Hold on to His word, it is true, it is life, it became flesh and walked among us, it created all things!  Psalm 33:6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.  Standing on His word is how we can be still and know that He is God!  He sends us a on time word--Proverbs 25:11-12 11) A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. 12) As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.  We must walk in these scriptures, not read them only.  James 1:22-23 22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.  23) For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass.  We are to study the word that the Holy Spirit will bring this word back to remembrance.  God is a rewarder to those that diligently seek Him!  He will never leave nor forsake us!  He will deliver on all of His precious promises!  Psalm 105:8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations. We are to draw nigh to Him and He will draw nigh to us!  We are to pray without ceasing.  We are to pray and not faint, making our requests with thanksgiving!  We ask and it shall be done! Matthew 9:29
Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.  We are to walk with God daily in His word. His word will stand forever!  John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  Thank You for the word of God!  It is Your word that I will hold on to!  That I can ask for the impossible, sun and moon be thou still!  Replacing the need to know with what we know about God!  Hold on to His word!  We have to learn to be content where we are, knowing that God has plans for us!  Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.  We know that all things work together for the good of those that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. Thank You God! We know by His stripes we are healed! We can run on in the spirit! Through Christ we can do all things! Hallelujah God! Hold on to the word of God! That is what we need! We must be prepared in and out of season! God gives us an on time word, hold on to that word. Many are called but few are chosen. We are to be in study of the word everyday. That the word is really in us. This same word that is a seed would take root and we would bear fruit of that word in our lives. Hallelujah God! We give you all of the glory, honor and praise! Look at that God did it all! Thank You God that when we open our mouth, You would speak. Hold on to the word of God. We give Him all the glory and the praise! We are in a new level in God! Fiveamprayer is going up higher and higher in God! Hallelujah! You must be a willing vessel that God may use you. We have to walk in humility and stand on His word. We must stand believing and trusting in Him. That we would not be worried or looking to the world for an answer. Look to the word of God. What did God say about it? In the looking and searching for God's response that will have you in a study of His word. Our God is so good! He tells us what we need to do and then gives us a stirring to seek out His word. That is a part of that putting off of the old man and old ways! Thank You God for renewing our minds on yesterday that we put off seeking the wisdom of men and seek Your ways and Your wisdom. That we would increase in our knowledge of You and Your word! Fiveamprayer we need to be so steeped in the word of God that when the devil comes with his lies, and he will come, we have a scripture that shows the deceit. We must study to show ourselves approved! We find in several places of the Bible where the devil makes the appearance of speaking scripture. If we are not studied up and steeped in God's word we may fall for that nonsense!  Matthew 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.  At the heart of the matter the enemy comes to get us to prove ourselves to him.  Look at scripture, he tells Eve that she won't surely die.  If in every lie that is brought before you, and you would stand on--Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  So with our renewed minds we can prove God's perfect will.  That should be our only concern.  We don't have to prove the enemy is a liar, the word has already said so!  John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.  1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.  We must hold on to the word of God!  Proverbs 14:25 A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh liesProverbs 19:5 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.  Proverbs 19:9 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.  Fiveamprayer hold on to God's word, it is true!  2 Samuel 7:28 And now, O Lord GOD, thou art that God, and thy words be true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant.  Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.  We must cast down every thing that would attempt to exalt itself against the knowledge of God!  Be no longer caught up in your mind, get in and hold on to the word, to have a renewed mind!  What did God say about your marriage, your children, your finances, your job,  and your ministry?  Hold on to the word of God!  A praying wife can save her husband.  We are to lead our children in the way to go and when they grow old they will not depart from it.  Our God supplies all of our needs according to His riches in glory!  Ephesians 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.  Psalm 75:6-7 6) For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. 7) But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.  Isaiah 10:15 (AMP) Shall the ax boast itself against him who chops with it? Or shall the saw magnify itself against him who wields it back and forth? As if a rod should wield those who lift it up, or as if a staff should lift itself up as if it were not wood [but a man of God]!  2 Timothy 2:15, 19-21 15) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 19) Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 20) But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21) If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.  The word is a seed!  What did God say about it?!  Don't give me any carnal answer or words!  We are to walk by faith!  Look to God He has already made a way for us!  He sits high and looks low.  Watch the hand of God in this!  His word stands forever!  Thank You God that somebody prayed for me!  Hold on to His word, it is life and death!  Romans 8:35-39 35) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36) As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37) Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Hold on to His word!  The devil is still a liar!  We lift up fiveamprayer this morning, we see Your glory Lord!  Thank You for keeping and blessing us.  That You have already covered every prayer request.  Lord we come to repent for our disobedience and for our arrogance.  Forgive us Lord for our sins, that they would be cast away as far as the east is from the west.  Thank You God for teaching us to forgive others, that we too are forgiven!  We see Your glory!  Thank You God!

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit:  Thank You God for showing us Your glory!

Welcome to the overflow...
We need Your glory!  Thank You God for giving us more and more of You!  That You would show up this morning with Your glory!  Thank You for leaving us with the Comforter.  I see God wrapping His arms around this prayer circle!  Thank You God for sending us Your word and Your presence this morning!  Thank You for Your mercy, grace, wisdom, knowledge, understanding and patience!  Amen, amen!

We are walking in today:  Replace The Need To Know, With What You Know About God!

Deuteronomy 33:27
The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.  1 Kings 8:22-27 22) And Solomon stood before the altar of the Lord in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven: 23) And he said, Lord God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart: 24) Who hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him: thou spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day. 25) Therefore now, Lord God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me. 26) And now, O God of Israel, let thy word, I pray thee, be verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David my father. 27) But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?  Exodus 3:13-14 13) And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14) And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you. Psalm 139:7-12  7) Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8) If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9) If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10) Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. 11) If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. 12) Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. Psalm 102:25-27 25) Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. 26) They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: 27) But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end. 2 Samuel 7:22 Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. Proverbs 3:19 The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. Leviticus 19:2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy. Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. Psalm 89:1-8 1) I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. 2) For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very  heavens. 3) I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, 4) Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah. 5) And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints. 6) For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord? 7) God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. 8) O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?  Psalm 31:5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth. Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. Psalm 103:8-11 8)The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. 9) He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. 10) He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. 11) For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. 1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
God had us to ask for the sun and moon to be thou still on Monday and then He comes today to let us know that our focus should be on who He is!  Not on what we think that we need to know!  Why call in every day at 5 am and get a on time and fitting word from God and then hung up and be in doubt and fear?  We are not to waiver but to stand on His word in faith!  How did you get this far?  It was only by faith!  To be able to walk on water, you have got to keep your eyes on Jesus and not on the storm.  Our God is bigger and stronger than any storm!  Who do you think orchestrates the weather?  We need to have the heart of Caleb who did not see giants in the promised land, he saw God.  We know that with God all things are possible!  Look back over your life, you know that it was not you, yourself that brought you out, or kept you sane or protected you from dangers unseen!  Look to God who is merciful and righteous!  The God who is spirit and light.  He is all that we need!  Why murmur and complain?  He supplies all of our needs!  He has already gone before us, and has made the crooked places straight!  Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. God wants to give us the kingdom, so no more of that lie that we can not ask.  Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?  1 Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  Fiveamprayer, replace the need to know with what you know about God!  We know that weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning!  He is our Shepherd and we shall not want!  He prepares a table for me in the presence of my enemies!  Replace that need to know with what you know about God!  He is an on time God.  It may not be when you want it but He is always right on time!  Psalm 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.  You have got to get this one!  This one is how you are gonna cross over into the promised land.  How can you stand at the door of your blessing saying I won't cross over until I fully understand every aspect and angle of the situation?!  As Pastor Taffe has taught, you don't fully understand how cars operate but that does not stop you from driving them!  Nor do you go and research how electricity works before you flip on the switch.  But what you do know is that they both work and you operate in that.  We know that God is in control and He created all things!  There is nothing too hard for Him or beyond His power!  Trust and believe.  There is no need to know, the need is to believe and walk this out in faith!  Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  Look to God, He knows all things!  Taste and see that He is good!  Replace your need to know with what you know about God!  We are crossing over this Jordan, crossing over the Rea Sea on dry ground.  Deuteronomy 32:30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?  The devil is on the run!  We read what we know about God in His word!  Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.  Replace the need to know with what you know about God!  That is why we can stand on sun and moon be thou still.  We are getting free this morning!  The enemy has been lying to you!  We walk by faith, not by sight.  What do you know about God?  Hold on to that!  That we can only please Him by our faith!  Psalm 121:1-2 1) I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2) My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.  Replace the need to know with what you know about God!  Don't wonder, know you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you!  Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.  Replace the need to know with what you know about God!  We know that He is a rewarder to those that diligently seek after Him!  We know that His grace is sufficient!  We know that God is opening up the windows of heaven and pouring out a blessing that there is not room enough to receive it all!  Get free and walk in the impossible!  We are gonna walk in all that God has promised us!  We know who our Father is and it is He that provides all of our needs according to His riches in glory!  He will do it!  He is giving us more and more of Him as we continue to die to the flesh.  Thank You God that You come to see about us!  That You are mindful of us!  That You have plans for us!  Hallelujah God!  Get out of that need to know place.  That place of trusting your own abilities of the abilities of man.  Why keep working with inferior tools that are not sufficient or cause more trouble?!  What good does it do to keep laboring under the incorrect information when you are in need of being refreshed?!  That God is ready, willing and able to correct, restore, revive, refresh, and renew any and everything that concerns us!  Could it be that we don't need to know so that we don't get it twisted, it is all God!  Nothing else!  When you have a good job, great pay and benefits does your trust move to the job and from God?  Are you making your job your god?  Are you saying that this great thing was only wrought from your own hands?  Isaiah 45:9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands? Psalm 100:3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Deuteronomy 8:18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.  Psalm 75:5-7 5) Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck. 6) For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. 7) But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.  We have got to know who our Father is!  That it is He that provides for us!  That it is He that keeps us!  Look to God, He will do it!  Replace the need to know with what you know about God!  He is omnipresent, and does not change!  He is sovereign and full of wisdom and understanding!  God is good, merciful, love, light, trinity and eternal!  He is sufficient!  He doesn't need your help!  Isaiah 55:8-9 8) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.  Get free today!  Lay down your cares, cast them at His feet.  Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.  We have to let go of the how, it is all about the who!  Thank You God!  It is You, that is all that we need!  Everything else just falls short and only appears to comfort or fix for a very short time.  Lord we are looking to eternal rest, peace, joy and love and we shall have it when we come looking and inquiring of You!  Amen!  Fiveamprayer, He supplies all of our needs!  Isaiah 65:24 24) And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. Psalm 21:2 Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.  Thank You God, in unity there is commanded blessings!  God will give you the desires of your heart!  Lay those heavy burdens down!  This battle is not ours, but the Lord's!  We are getting free from the lies of the devil.  God's grace is sufficient!  Thank You God, it is You, that supplies all of our needs!  Tell everyone at your thanksgiving table that your impossible is about to be possible because God is on the case!  You don't need to know!  You need to have faith and trust God!  He is a God of His word, and delivers on all of His promises!  God has already walked around in your future, it is already done and finished!  Look to God, He shall supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory!  He has heard your cries, late in the midnight hour!  The enemy can't make us doubt Him, we know too much about Him!  Totally and finally cast off that fear and doubt!  Stand in faith and trust God!  God has already gone before us and has made the crooked places straight.  We don't need to know.  Why, do we need to know?!  Some things you don't need to know everything about, but does it work?  Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  That is just on example of something beyond our understanding but you rest and seek out that peace don't you?  This understanding thing is overrated!  Knowing more of the details or mechanics does not change the out come, this is what God has for us, has already set aside for us!  Don't negate you blessing because you don't have full and complete understanding!  1 Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.  Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.  Does knowing more about a thing change how the thing operates?   Or because of this puffed up sense of knowledge do you feel equal or more in control?!  Let it go, we are not in control, we did not make ourselves, nor this world or anything there in!  Look to God and trust Him!  Give your brain a break and stop all of that thinking on top of thinking and then you wonder why you are tired and weary.  Some of our thoughts keep us running in circles both physically and mentally.  Look to God, our peace, our joy, our love, and our hope!  Rest in Him, He is has been gently beckoning you closer to Him.  Stop being that child who is in desperate need of a nap but won't lie down.  Just trying everything to stay awake when, what you really need is to rest in the Father!  Fiveamprayer, hold on to this one, this will bring about your breakthrough, healing, job and blessing--are on the way!  We are abundantly blessed!  Thank You God!  He is Alpha and Omega, He knows the beginning from the end.  As long as God knows, then I can let it go!  As some one says, I can sleep because God is awake!  Where is your trust?!  Replace the need to know with what you know about God!  No more study of temporary things that will soon crumble and fail.  Look to storing up heavenly treasures, that we would be students of godly things!  2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  He is the Author and Finisher of our faith!  Thank You God!  He has not and will not change His mind about you!  Hallelujah God!  Thank You for this day November 22, 2010, Thanksgiving day! Replace the need to know with what you know about God!  Replace the need to know with what you know about God!  He gives us peace that surpasses our understanding, joy unspeakable, His strength is made perfect in our weakness!  Thank You Lord, for Your grace and Your mercy!  Replace the need to know with what you know about God!  Cross over Jordan and take all that the devil has stole!   Replace the need to know with what you know about God!  Replace the need to know with what--that all power, honor and glory belongs to Him!  Our God is sovereign, awesome and all knowing!  Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?  We must have our minds renewed and work our faith!  What are you working on?  Your answer, my faith!  God makes all things possible!  You don't have to see it!  Just like you don't need to know, but trust that is will show up.  Look to God in your business, your marriage, your finances, your children and your job.  Replace the need to know with what you know about God!  Better yet replace the question with the answer, God is!  He is able, He is love, He is patient, He is kind, and He is still reaching out for us!  Thank You God!  We don't need to know how, but trust that He will!

Philippians 1:1-11
1) Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at
Philippi, with the bishops and deacons: 2) Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3) I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, 4) Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, 5) For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; 6) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: 7) Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace. 8) For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ. 9) And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; 10) That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. 11) Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

He pursues them with words, but they are gone.
Romans 15:5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be
likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:1 Corinthians 7:22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.1 Corinthians 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.1 Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
Isaiah 28:23 Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.Hebrews 3:7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,Luke 9:35 And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Ask God For The Impossible--Sun, Stand Thou Still!

Joshua 10:12-14; James 4:2; John 16:24; Luke 18:1; 1 Chronicles 4:10; James 5:16; Psalm 3:3; James 4:10; 1 Peter 5:6-7; Philippians 4:6; Genesis 1:3; Matthew 21:21; Jeremiah 32:17; Matthew 4:16; Luke 11:36; John 1:9,  9:5; Matthew 5:14

We are walking in today:  Ask God For The Impossible--Sun, Stand Thou Still!

Joshua 10:12-14 12) Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. 13) And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. 14) And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the Lord hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the Lord fought for Israel. This is a prayer request from Joshua.  We must truly begin to understand the power of prayer.  This is our communication to God.  This is our life line.  This is our bridge over troubled water.  The word of God says, James 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.  John 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.  We need to look at how powerful our request to God is in our lives!  This is the night Joshua was called to help Gibeon and that night Gibeon was told by God to attack the Midianites--then the other battles.  The sun was passing west to east and was at the noon position when Joshua asked God to make the sun and moon to stand still.  The quarter moon had risen, the sun in the west and now was sitting in the east. Then Joshua asked that both the sun and moon stand still.  The Earth had to flow out of reverse orbit of the sun and now back into reverse orbit of the sun.  What a mighty God we serve!  We must tap into the heart of God through prayer.  Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faintWe can never expect a likeliness of our Father unless we follow His example, and give more time to commune with the Father.  A revival of real praying would produce a spiritual revolution!  Holy living is essential preparation for prayer.  The enemies greatest goal is to keep us off of our knees.  A man, who kneels before God, will stand before any man.  We need to ask God for the impossible!  If you are not daring enough to believe God for the impossible you may be sleeping through the best parts of your Christian life!  Ask God like Jabez, 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.   We must first consider the attitude of Jabez, he is said to be honorable, even more so than his brothers.  We can see that a honorable prayer is earnest, intense, zealous and determined.  James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.  The second characteristic is humility, we are to humble ourselves--the Lord will exalt us.  Psalm 3:3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.  1 Peter 5:6-7 6) Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7) Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. The earnest, fervent, humble prayer, honorably before God, is how we are to pray.  Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  We must be like Jesus, who prayed continually.  Ask God for the impossible.  Sun and moon, stand thou still.  Now unto Him who is able to give you more than you could ask or think!  We are in a battle, sun and moon stand thou still!  God we need You to shed light in this battle--in all of the dark places.  Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Start asking God for the impossible!  Look at Joshua, who had men to fight the battle in hand to hand combat but as the enemy retreated, God caused a hail storm to fall from heaven and to take out more than the children of Israel, slew with a sword!  If you do your part, in hand to hand combat, putting on the whole armor of God and standing against the enemy--have faith.  God will do His part!
Fiveamprayer it is time to ask God for the impossible!  Sun and moon stand thou still!  Ask God to shed light on your battle.  He said that He is and He has!  When Peter saw Jesus walking on the water, he said if it is You, Lord bid me to come.  Ask God for the impossible!  He has the way out of no way, your healing, and your blessing!  Ask Him for the impossible!  He is the one who feed a multitude with 5 loaves and 2 fishes, He turned water into wine.  Ask God for the impossible, He gave sight to those who were born blind from birth!  Ask God for the impossible!  Sun and moon stand thou still!  I am in a battle and need more light!  I know that with men it is impossible only God makes all things possible!  Ask God for the impossible in your finances!  Ask God for the impossible in your marriage, on your job, in your ministry.  The power of life and death is in your tongue!  You shall have what you say!
Matthew 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.  Ask God for the impossible.  Like the woman with the issue of blood, who had spent all of her money and sought out healing from many doctors who said they could do nothing more for her--that their treatments made things only worse.  That she would seek out Jesus to touch the hem of His garment, that she would push, crawl and reach out for her healing!   Our Lord Jesus got up on the third day; there is still power in the blood!  Ask God for the impossible.  He can change your situation, or circumstance--but are you asking Him for the impossible?  That which you can not do yourself?!  We must seek, ask and knock.  There are things that only God can fix--you have been praying and fasting and seeking a word on what you are going through.  Ask for the impossible!  Sun and moon be thou still!  Ask, believe and receive it!  You can move mountains; look to God He has made a way of escape for you!  He is a rewarder to those that diligently seek after Him!  Ask for the impossible for your ministry, your children, your marriage, and your finances.  Look to God, only He can do this!  We stand on Your word, the word that will not return void nor reversed.  Your word will do all that You sent it to do.  We have gotta get this down and walk this out by faith!  Faith without works is dead!  Ask and believe!  You already have it!  We can speak those things as though they already are!  We have the power of life and death in our tongues!  Ask God for the impossible!  The enemy wants you to think that it can not be done, that there is no way.  God comes to tell us this morning that He is giving us the impossible; we just have to ask for it!  Thank You God for this word!  Many of us have been laboring in that impossible thing and were getting ready to give up but we have this word to hold on to!  Thank You God for this word, that is letting us know that it is You who makes the impossible, possible.  When we give it over to You, asking for You to handle it, it is already done and finished.  Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.  The battle is hard and the enemy is trying to take you out!  Hold on to God, seek Him out!  God responds to the voice of men.  He told us that there will come a day that He will pour out His Spirit onto all flesh!  Ask Him for the impossible.  When the children of Israel were facing the Rea Sea, God told Moses what to do--and they witnessed the impossible and walked over on the bed of the Rea Sea as dry ground.  Ask God for the impossible!  You have not because you ask not.  Hallelujah God!  The enemy is trying disguise your season.  Ask God for the impossible!  Let there be blessings in what you speak--God creates the fruit of our lips.  That is the God that we serve.  He is a way maker, for His is the Way, the Truth and the Life!  Ask Him and see if He won't give you the impossible!  He did it for Sarah, giving birth in her latter years.  Ask for the impossible!  That one thing that you put down because seems not to be the right time or season.  Ask Him and have faith and believe Him!  Whether you see it or not, know that God is telling you to ask.  Thank You God for coming this morning and bringing us breakthroughs!  You told us that this is the year that we will see.  Ask for the impossible!  He rewards them that diligently seek Him!  Ask for the impossible.  You know what you need.  Stand on His word, declare, decree.  We can do all things through Christ which strengthens us!  By His hand all things are possible for me!  Jacob said, I won't let go until you bless me!  Ask for the impossible!  He is waiting  to bless us!  He is pouring out overflow blessings!  But you have not asked Him.  You can't just think your requests, you must make petitions, make a request or take it to the alter.  Call God on His word!  He is our Shepherd and we shall not want!  There is no lack in our lives!  He is pouring out blessings that there is not room enough to receive.  We are blessed and highly favored!  Ask Him, stop sitting on your blessings with your mouth closed.  One of the first attacks of the enemy, is to take out our communication.  God is telling us to ask Him!  All things are possible with God!  We lift up fiveamprayer this morning, some of us are facing impossible situations--options appear few, doors closed, and attack after attack.  Lord teach us to say sun and moon stand thou still.  Give us more light to fight in this battle!  Lord shine Your light of truth in out lives that there is not darkness lurking anywhere!  Matthew 4:16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.  Luke 11:36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light. John 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. John 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the worldMatthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  Thank You God for Your word!  We have got to see this with spiritual eyes!  Lord, help our unbelief!  That we no longer sit on the sidelines not asking You or making our requests known unto You.  Thank You for opening blinded eyes letting us know that we can ask for the impossible!  We can not fight this carnally but spiritually!  We lift up prayer request this morning, have them to stand on Your word, sun and moon stand thou still, I need light to see to fight this battle.  Ask for the impossible, nobody but God can do this!  Sun and moon stand thou still in my marriage, with my children, in my ministry and in my finances.  We repent for not making our request of You Lord, the only one who can deliver!   Sometimes we think that we are our own little gods.  We are not sufficient in ourselves, all sufficiency lies in You!  Thank You Lord for forgiving us and casting our sins into the sea, that they are remembered no more!  Thank You Lord for teaching us that we must forgive others to be forgiven by You.  That when we draw nigh to You, You would draw nigh to us!  We are asking You Lord for the impossible!  Fix it Lord, You are the only one who can!  That You are the giver of peace beyond our understanding and joy unspeakable, is all found in You Lord!  We are to be still and know that He is God!  As Peter told Jesus, if that is You Lord, bid me to come out to You on the water.  Walk out on your faith, believing God.  It is already done, already finished.  God told us last week to launch out into the deep and then today ask God for the impossible!  In the supernatural we can let our petitions known unto God--no more mediocre requests.  Step out in faith and ask for the impossible.  Ask God for everything in your life that is impossible.  Thank You God that the scales have fallen off of our eyes.  Even if we have several impossible things to request of God, He is still keeping us, we are not utterly cast down nor destroyed!  Thank You God!  Let us really walk this out by faith!  Lord we are asking for more of You, for a second touch that when we walk our shadow could fall on others and they would be healed.  Hallelujah God!

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit:  With men things are impossible but with God all things are possible!

Welcome to the overflow...

That God is able to do some things?  NO.  All things are made possible by Him!  Praise Him right now, it is already done and finished!  Give God the glory and the praise!  No one can do this but by the Lord God Almighty!  Whatever your struggle is, ask for more light--sun and moon stand thou still!  Hallelujah God!  You are about to get your breakthrough!  Get ready!  He told us to launch out into the deep!  Cast your nets on the other side!  At His word they let down their nets again!  Fiveamprayer, at His word, let your nets down again.  Seek out that impossible thing to be done in Your life, because you have requested it of God!  Stay hoping and believing to see the goodness of the Lord in the land the living.  His word lines up, when you are walking with Him!  Thank You Lord!  Jesus said your faith has made you whole!  That God has granted us that which we have requested!  All because we dared to ask God for the impossible!  You better go into your prayer closet and ask God for the impossible.  Have a supernatural blessed day!  Visit us on facebook, it will encourage you!
