We are walking in today:   Testimony Tuesday:  The Awesome God That We Serve!

Revelation 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Hebrews 13:18-20 18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly. 19 But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.  20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 

Psalm 84:11-12 11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.  12 O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

Thank you for joining us this morning where we are sharing how we have seen the hand of the Almighty God move in our lives!  He alone is worthy of all the praise and glory!  We lift Him up, it is only by His mercy, grace and love that we see another day, that we were kept in that situation, that we don't receive what our sins have purchased for us!  Thank You Adonai for Your mercy and how You keep us in the palm of Your hand!  Hallelujah!  Praise His name!  Holy, holy, holy is the King of kings, and the Lord of lords!  To here these awesome testimonies click here.

REVELATION 10:1-11

SITUATION: A MIGHTY ANGEL APPEARED WITH AN OPEN BOOK AND ANNOUNCED THAT TIME WOULD END. THE ANGEL ANNOUNCED THAT FINAL UNIVERSAL JUDGMENT

OBSERVATION: ALTHOUGH GOD’S WORD BRINGS ENCOURAGEMENT TO THE BELIEVER, HIS WORD ALSO LAYS RESPONSIBILITY ON THE BELIEVER TO PROCLAIM GOD’S COMING JUDGEMENT

INSPIRATION: NEVER CHOOSE TO BE A WORKER FOR GOD, BUT ONCE GOD HAS PLACED HIS CALL ON YOU, WOE BE TO YOU, IF YOU “TURN ASIDE TO THE RIGHT HAND OR TO THE LEFT” (DEUT. 5:32). WE ARE NOT HERE TO WORK FOR GOD BECAUSE WE HAVE CHOSEN TO DO SO, BUT BECAUSE GOD HAS "LAID HOLD OF" US. AND ONCE HE HAS DONE SO, WE SHOULD NEVER HAVE THIS THOUGHT, "WELL I’M REALLY NOT SUITED FOR THIS." WHAT YOU ARE TO PREACH IS ALSO DETERMINED BY GOD, NOT BY YOUR OWN NATURAL LEANINGS OR DESIRES. KEEP YOUR SOUL STEADFASTLY RELATED TO GOD, AND REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE CALLED NOT SIMPLY TO CONVEY YOUR TESTIMONY BUT ALSO TO PREACH THE GOSPEL. EVERY CHRISTIAN MUST TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH OF GOD, BUT WHEN IT COMES TO THE CALL TO PREACH, THERE MUST BE THE AGONIZING GRIP OF GOD’S HAND ON YOU---- YOUR LIFE IS IN THE GRIP OF GOD FOR THAT VERY PURPOSE. HOW MANY OF US ARE HELD LIKE THAT?

GOD HAS SAID TO ME: WE SHOULD NEVER WATER DOWN MY WORD, BUT PREACH IN IT ITS UNDILUTED STERNNESS.

THERE MUST BE UNFLINCHING FAITHFULNESS TO MY WORD, BUT WHEN YOU COME TO PERSONAL DEALINGS WITH OTHERS, REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE- YOU ARE NOT SOME SPECIAL BEING CREATED IN HEAVEN, BUT A SINNER SAVED BY GRACE.

OR IF YOU RECEIVE A DIFFERENT SPIRIT FROM THE SPIRIT YOU RECEIVED (WHICH IS THE HOLY SPIRIT ) ARE YOU GOING TO RECEIVE THAT, OR IF SOMEONE COME TO YOU WITH A DIFFERENT GOSPEL FROM THE ONE YOU ACCEPTED, WILL YOU REALLY PUT UP WITH IT SO EASILY?! WHY?

IS THE MESSAGE OF JESUS THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD SO SIMPLE THAT YOU CAN EASILY BY PERSUADED, BY OTHER CUNNING TACTICS OF OTHERS--FALSE TEACHERS?

ALSO WITH THIS SIMPLICITY OF HIM, HE DOESN’T WANT US SO SIMPLE THAT WE GET COMPLACENT IN OUR WALKING.

***PAUL IS SAYING THAT satan IS SO CUNNING THAT HE HAD SEDUCED THE PURE, CHASTE, WELL EDUCATED VIRGIN, FROM HER DUTY, AFFECTION, AND ALLEGIANCE TO HER ONE AND ONLY TRUE HUSBAND, THE HIGH PRIEST, AND JESUS CHRIST.

JESUS WAS A SIMPLISTIC MAN, YES, BUT HE ALSO MULTITASKED, HE TAUGHT, HE COUNSELED, HE HEALED, HE PROPHESIED, HE EVANGELIZED. HE WAS THE 5 FOLD-MINSTRY ALL IN ONE!! DON'T BE SO SIMPLE WHERE YOU MISS HIM ALTOGETHER!!!

13 FOR SUCH PEOPLE ARE FALSE APOSTLES, DECEITFUL WORKERS, MASQUERADING AS APOSTLES OF CHRIST. 14 AND NO WONDER, FOR SATAN HIMSELF MASQUERADES AS AN ANGEL OF LIGHT. 15 IT IS NOT SURPRISING, THEN, IF HIS SERVANTS ALSO MASQUERADE AS SERVANTS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. THEIR END WILL BE WHAT THEIR ACTIONS DESERVE.

WE ARE SURE THAT WE HAVE A CLEAR CONSCIENCE AND DESIRE TO LIVE HONORABLY IN EVERY WAY. 19 I PARTICULARLY URGE YOU TO PRAY SO THAT I MAY BE RESTORED TO YOU SOON.

A GOOD CONSCIENCE HAS RESPECT TO ALL OF GOD'S COMMANDS, AND ALL OUR DUTY. THOSE WHO HAVE THIS GOOD CONSCIENCE, YET NEED THE PRAYERS OF OTHERS. WHEN MINISTERS COME TO A PEOPLE WHO PRAY FOR THEM, THEY COME WITH GREATER SATISFACTION TO THEMSELVES, AND SUCCESS TO THE PEOPLE. WE SHOULD SEEK ALL OUR MERCIES BY PRAYER

WE AS MINISTRY AND LAY MEMBERS, THAT GOD HAS CHOSEN, WE NEED PRAYER AS WELL. IT TAKES FROM US TO PRESENT GOD’S LESSON, OR GOD MESSAGE. THE STUDY TIME, THE RESEARCH TIME, TIME TO PREPARE, THEN THE EXECUTION TIME WHICH IS WHERE I STAND NOW IN THE PULPIT.

IT IS THE INTEREST OF HEARERS, THAT THE ACCOUNT THEIR MINISTERS GIVE OF THEM MAY BE WITH JOY, AND NOT WITH GRIEF. Drop To Your Knees And Intercede!

We are walking in today:  Drop To Your Knees And Intercede!

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  What is Intercessory Prayer?  It is the act of praying on behalf of others.  All of us are intercessors, because Jesus is our intercessor.  Jesus closed the gap between us and God when He died on the cross.  Because of Jesus mediation, we can now intercede in prayer on behalf of other Christians, or for the lost, asking God to grant their requests according to His will.  “For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5).  “Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus who died, more than that, who was raised to life, is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us” (Romans 8:34).  God calls all Christians to be intercessors.  It is God’s desire that every believer be active in intercessory prayer.  What a wonderful and exalted privilege we have in being able to come boldly before the throne of Almighty God with our prayers and requests.  Intercessory Prayer is so humbling.  You begin to pray and intercede for others.  It is not a selfish prayer.  The more we pray for others, the more we see the hand of God move in our lives.  The word says it is better to give than receive.  Jesus gave Himself for us.  We should strive to be more Christ like.  We should do as our Father has taught us.  Stand in the gap for someone today.  Start practicing praying for others.  Get ready to experience a closer walk with God as never before in your life.  This is a way of praying that everyone can relate to.  There has been a time that I could not pray for myself.  God uses us to intercede just like His Son.  Pray for your children, family, co-workers, church members, etc.

We have to drop to our knees and intercede--pray for marriages, children, America and the churches to turn back to God!  We have to intercede immediately not looking for something to talk about but to cast our cares on the Lord!  We are not to take our own vengence, we have to be in prayer--vengeance is mine says the Lord!  2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.  Fiveamprayer, we must intercede for the land--the people, we are to be the voice crying out to the Lord God Almighty!  We don't even have to defend ourselves from what it is that others may have to say about us!  Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?  We have to be in a position and place of love.  1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.  To here this again click here.

Thank you for joining us today, we have Minister Telia teaching on the names of the Lord God this morning.  Thank You for sending Your servant to teach us more about our Heavenly Father!  You just keep showing up in the cool of the day and speaking right to us!  Praise Your holy name!  Amen, amen!

The Lord God Almighty – There is a history The Lord God Almighty wants you to get.  Monday Pastor Lucinda Wagner talked to you about Genesis 3:8 “And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the Cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.  Which part of the Trinity is the Lord God?  Let’s go to Job 38 beginning at verse 1 “Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said “Who is this that darkened counsel by words without knowledge.  Remember what knowledge means: It is Information gathered.  So let’s gather the information on the Lord God.  The knowledge of the Lord God was given to us all on Monday that it was the Spirit speaking to Adam in the garden.  Verse 4 of Job reads “Where were thou when I laid the foundations of the earth?  Declare if thou have understanding.  Okay what is understanding-it means having comprehension.  Comprehension is confidence in what you know and keeping what you know.  You have to understand who the Lord God Almighty is.  Friday the word that lead to “In the Cool of the Day” was “Petition to Pray”.   Before you pray you have to understand how to pray, how do you petition to The Lord God Almighty.  The Lord Almighty is Yahweh, El-Shaddai, Adonai, Elohim.  This is the God Almighty who laid the foundation of the world.  Now in Genesis 3:8–10 it was the spirit that was walking in the cool of the day.  Now in Job 38 through 41 the Lord God Almighty is “The Creator” speaking.  We understand that the voice of the Lord God was walking in the cool of the day “The Spirit” now in Job 38-41 the Creator is speaking.  Now let look at Exodus 3:3-15 “And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.  And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses."  And he said, "Here am I," and He said, "Draw not nigh hither put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground."  Moreover He said, "I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob."  And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.  And the Lord said, "I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows.  And I am come down to deliver them out of the had of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.  Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.  Come not therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out to Egypt."  And Moses said unto God, "Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth my people the children of Israel out to Egypt."  And He said, "Certainly I will be with thee, and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee, When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain."  And Moses said unto God, "Behold, when I come unto the children of your fathers hath sent me unto God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me What is his name? what shall I say unto them?"  And God said unto Moses, “I AM That I AM," and He said, "Thus shall thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you."  And God said moreover unto the children of Israel.  "The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you, this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations."  The Lord God still continue with, "I have surely visited you, I will bring you up out of the afflictions, I will stretch out my hand," verse 11 of Exodus 4 And the Lord said unto him, "Who hath made man’s mouth? Or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? Have not I the Lord?  I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what to say."  In verse 14 of Exodus 4 “And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses, and He said, "is not Aaron the Levite thy brother?  I know that he can speak well.  And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart."  Why was the Lord angry with Moses?  Qanna–Means Jealous–Exodus 20:5-7 Thou shalt not bow down thy self to them, nor serve them; for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.  And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.  Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh this name in vain.

How do you petition God in prayer who do you call on in prayer.  Okay if you need the God Almighty or El-Shaddai you go to Genesis 17:1-2 And remind God that He walked before Abram and announced that He is The God Almighty, and that He made his covenant with him, because God you are not a respecter of persons that El-Shaddai the God Almighty will do the same for you.  Galatians 3:17-29

My testimony is evidence of God's power in my life--Psalm 107:2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
I can experience the power of God myself--2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
What to focus on when I am feeling powerless--2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

We are vessels for God, fill yourself up with His Holy Spirit.  He has given us authority to cast out demons, we must believe and have faith!  Walk in that faith.  He will show you, lead you and guide you!  He will remove that filth from your ears so that you can hear from Him.  That we can receive His love, walk in His commandments.  We should only be lead by Him and Him alone!  Because of sin and lack of belief--is why blessings are not received.  Acts 1:6-8 6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Thank You Adonai for bringing your man of God to teach on power this morning!  We pray that you would fill him back up for how he poured out on this line.  Thank You for sending brother Eugene to speak what You gave him to speak!  Thank You for Your obedient servants who spoke this morning.  Thank You that You come to see about Fiveamprayer, that we would walk in Your ways, that we stay on the path with You.  Let us not do what seems right to us but only do what You have given us to do.  That we do what You have given us to do.  We come to ask for forgiveness, that we walk in love.  We are not called to judge others, that is only for You to do!  We repent and ask for forgiveness for standing in judgement.  We take the correction and line up and repent for the wrong we have done, we have only sinned against You, Abba.  We ask that You would wash us and correct us that we could remain walking with You in the cool of the day.  Amen, amen!  To hear this again click here.

IN THE COOL OF THE DAY

BREATH OF LIFE- GOD IS BREATHING AGAIN/ HE IS IN OUR FACE

NATIVE LANGUAGE OF GOD- SPIRIT- JOHN 4:23

GOD CAME IN THE COOL OF THE DAY. THE WORD TRANSLATED COOL IS FROM RUACH, THE SAME WORD TRANSLATED SPIRIT (BREATH) IN GEN 1:2. I BELIEVE WE SHOULD SEE THAT THE LORD CAME INTO THE GARDEN IN A VISITATION OF HIS SPIRIT. HIS SPIRIT WAS COVERING WITH HIS WINGS.THERE IN THE GARDEN,

HOVERING- TO REMAIN OR LINGER IN OR NEAR A PLACE. NEAR THE MAN AND WOMAN HE HAD PLACED THERE.

IN THE NOW- HE IS BROODING NOW OVER THE CHURCH, PREPARING IT FOR THE RELEASE THAT WILL COME TO IT WITH THE WORD OF THE LORD GOD.  NOT ONLY IS THE HOLY SPIRIT HOVERING NEAR US, BUT ALSO THERE IS A LONGING IN CREATION ITSELF FOR THIS DAY.

GEN. 3:8- THEN THE MAN AND HIS WIFE HEARD THE SOUND OF THE LORD GOD AS HE WAS WALKING IN THE GARDEN IN THE COOL OF THE DAY

A SIDE NOTE:

John 4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks

Psalm 145:18 The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

GOD WANTS TO TEACH US HOW TO PRAY(THE DISCIPLES WAS WITH JESUS SO ALL THE MIRACLES, BUT YET THEY WANTED HIM TO TEACH THEM HOW TO PRAY. BECAUSE THEY SAW THAT WHEN HE PRAYED, THAT IT HAPPENED!!! MATT. 6:9-13 IS THE BEGINNING OF PRAYER

4 POINTS OF PRAYER: ADORATION, CONFESSION, THANKSGIVING, PETITION

WE CAN BE CONFIDENT THAT THE ANSWER WILL BE "YES" IF OUR PETITIONS ARE BASED ON THE PROMISES OF GOD. THIS IS WHY SCRIPTURE PRAYERS CAN BE SO EFFECTIVE -- WE ARE BASING OUR REQUESTS ON GOD'S EXPLICIT PROMISES. NOW, IT IS OK TO PRAY FOR CARES FOR WHICH WE HAVE NO SPECIFIC PROMISES -- WE ARE INSTRUCTED TO TAKE OUR CONCERNS TO GOD, WHATEVER THEY MAY BE. FOR THOSE REQUESTS, HOWEVER, WE NEED TO BE READY TO ACKNOWLEDGE NO FOR AN ANSWER. BUT WHEN WE PRAY BASED ON A SPECIFIC PROMISE, WE CAN KNOW THAT GOD WILL ANSWER IN THE AFFIRMATIVE. FOR EXAMPLE, WHEN WE ARE SUFFERING THROUGH A TRIAL, WE CAN PRAY THAT GOD WOULD USE THIS TESTING OF OUR FAITH TO PRODUCE ENDURANCE IN US, TO PERFECT US, TO MAKE US COMPLETE, SO THAT WE WOULD BECOME LIKE HIM. AND WE CAN KNOW THAT GOD WILL DO SO.

FINALLY, OUR PETITIONS SHOULD INCLUDE ASKING THAT GOD WOULD BE RECOGNIZED AS HOLY AND JUST, PRAYING THAT GOD'S WILL WOULD BE DONE IN THIS WORLD AND THAT THE WORLD WOULD ACKNOWLEDGE HIM. THIS, OF COURSE, IS PART OF THE LORD'S PRAYER: "HALLOWED BE YOUR NAME, YOUR KINGDOM COME, YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN" -- BUT HOW OFTEN DO WE PRAY ABOUT THIS TOPIC OTHER THAN WHEN WE RECITE THAT PRAYER? I ENCOURAGE YOU TO INCLUDE THIS MOST IMPORTANT PETITION IN YOUR PRAYERS THIS WEEK.

PRAY MY WILL- THE EXECUTOR, KNOW WHATS IN THE WILL, HE KNOWS WHAT IS OUR INHERITANCE

SO THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, THE GOD OF ISSAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB’S  NATIVE LANGUAGE WHICH IS SPIRIT, (BECAUSE IT WAS NOT ANY HUMAN BEING OTHER THAN GOD AND ADAM AT THE TIME IS  COMMUNICATING) IT IS UPON US. SO IF THIS IS TRUE AND GOD IS BREATHING AGAIN, THEN WE NEED TO BE WALKING IN THE COOL OF THE DAY WITH HIM, ASKING WHAT HE IS UP TOO, WHAT SEASON IS HE IN? WHICH IF YOU WERE TRULY WALKING WITH HIM IN THE ‘COOL OF THE DAY” YOU WOULD KNOW THAT HE IS: BREATHING AGAIN, HE IS TEACHING US HOW TO PRAY? HE IS GIVING US THE TIP OF THE DAY CONSISTENTLY: WHICH IS INSTRUCTION TO PRAY HIS WILL, WHICH PROMPT THE EXECUTOR, WHICH IS JESUS THE CHRIST, TO LET US KNOW WHAT THE WILL IS, SO WE CAN GET OUR INHERITANCE. Prayer of Petition.

1 John 5:14; Luke 22:42

We are walking in today: Prayer of Petition.

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. Is there an impossible problem in your life? Then you probably need to pray a prayer of petition. Most people know that prayer is the foundation of our Christian life. What some people might not know, however, is that there are different types of prayer for the different situations, and the Prayer of Petition is one of the most effective forms of prayer; when it comes to bringing about quick changes in your life, especially if you need a right now answer. The Prayer of Petition is the prayer that changes things. Perhaps you are facing problems in your finances, maybe you need to restore a broken relationship; whatever your need is, God has the answer to it, and the Prayer of Petition is the best way to get to God and receive what He has in store for you. Well, it can be as simple as stating your situation to God, and agreeing with what the word of God says about it. A Petition of Prayer, simply put, is a formal request to God regarding a situation you need help with. However, the mistake most people make is that they simply keep stating how bad their plight is, and attempt to plead God into taking action.

When you pray a Prayer of Petition, you pray in confidence that God hears you, and that He will answer you as long as you pray according to his will. When you pray a Prayer of Petition, never doubt the will of God. It is His will to heal you, prosper you and give you the desires of your heart. Therefore, when you pray, you should pray with complete confidence that your prayer is answered. If you would just focus on this one truth, you will find that more and more of your petitions are answered, and in shorter and shorter time spans. What makes it so powerful is to pray in the name of Jesus, the word of God and the Holy Spirit. First sealing your prayer in the name of Jesus gives you so much power. There is no name above His name. This means no matter what your problem is, be it debt, sickness, depression or any other condition it is still under the name of Jesus. You can calm any storm with the name of Jesus. One thing you can count on is the word of God. There are many scriptures to help with every problem. God’s word does not return back to you void. All you have to do is agree to His word; you are in effect providing faith necessary to make it come to pass in your own life. The Holy Spirit is always present to help you and give you both the utterance and power for your prayer, and make it real in your life. We ask God for what we believe we need, but we submit what we ask to His all wise, all good plan and we say like Jesus, “Not my will, but your will be done” (Luke 22:42). One example of this would be Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, where He asks for the cup of wrath to be removed from Him (that is His petition), but He submits His petition to the will of the Father, for He trusts what God would give Him more than what He would ask. When we pray in petition “according to God’s will”, we know that God will answer it.

For instance, if we pray for “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”, that is a prayer that is God’s heart. At the same time, how that kingdom comes and how that will is done will be done according to God’s time and in God’s way. This is a Prayer of Alignment with God’s heart, the one thing God wants from us since the beginning, was for us to be in relationship with Him. That’s why we should petition Him. Ask because He wants to meet our needs. Seek, knock, ask and He will show up. There is nothing like praying the will of God. He shows up when move yourself and your stuff out of the way. God loves to hear our cry for His will to be done in our life. It takes us to a greater relationship with Him. It’s amazing that He gives us free will. Lay down your will for His will as you petition Him. Speak His word back to Him; You are my provider, no matter what my bank account says.

You are my healer, no matter what the doctor says. You are the great Physician. I dare you to petition Him on His word. Get ready for deliverance, breakthrough, renewed minds and most of all wisdom on the journey. To hear this again click here.

Know The Names Of God!

This morning we welcome back Minister Telia to teach on the name of God.   Thank You for her time and study of Your word.  Use her in a mighty way this morning!  Amen, amen! 

Today I will begin with God’s word from Proverbs 2:1-10 “My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine (your ) ear unto wisdom, and apply thine (your) heart to understanding; Yea, if thou cry after knowledge, and lift up thy (your) voice for understanding. If thou seekest her as silver, and search for her as for hid treasures; Then shall thou (you) understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord give wisdom; out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He lay up sound wisdom for the righteous; he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly, and He keeps the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. Then shall thou (you) understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. When wisdom enters into thine (your) heart and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul.”
The Names I will begin with is Adon or Adonai – This is a title of authority and honor, translated “Lord” and applied to a superior, such as a king or master as well as to God. It ascribes the highest honor and worship to God and became a substitute for Yahweh when Israel refused to pronounce the holy name. A prominent characteristic of Scripture is its use of figurative language. Many of the names for God are symbolic, illustrative, or figurative. Overview of last week’s name of El-Shaddai (God of the Mountains or the Almighty God). Today it is Adonai – God has so many names El-Shaddai and Adonai in my study Yahweh Israel refused to pronounce the holy name. Yahweh is God’s holy name. The covenant name for God was Yahweh. Israel’s faith was a new response to God based on His disclosure. This name was so unique and powerful that God formed a covenant with His people based on His self-revelation.
Adonai is the Lord of all authority. Adonai also means Rock, Refuge, Fortress, Shield, Sun, Refiner, King, Judge, Shepherd, Abba and Father. The characteristics of God is He lives forever and His kingdom is everlasting. He gives history meaning and is drawing it to a conclusion. Let’s go back to God as being a Rock God is strong and permanent, Refuge id God is a haven from the enemy, Fortress God is a defense against the foe, Shield God is protection, Sun God is the source of light and life, Refiner God is purifier, King Yahweh’s covenant people were to obey Him as a Sovereign. The title is the key to understanding the kingdom of God. Judge Yahweh is the Judge who arbitrates disputes, sets things right, and intervenes for Israel in its military campaigns. Shepherd this is a nurturing term to the describe the care God gives to his people us…..there are so many descriptions of God such as.
El-Elyon means “The Most High God or the Exalted One” is name by which Melchizadek blessed Abraham. In Genesis 14:19-20 - But in verse 18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine; and he was the priest of the Most High God. Verses 19-20 reads “And he bless him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the Most High God, possessor of heaven and earth. And blessed be the Most High God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.”
El-Olam means “God of Eternity or God the Everlasting One shows God’s Sovereignty extends through the passing of time and beyond our ability to see or understand. Genesis 21: “And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the Lord, the everlasting God.”Isaiah 26:4 Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength. The rock of ages. “Psalm 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
El-Berith means “God of the Covenant which means God keeps his promises. God’s promise covers God’s future plan for all the nations of the earth and focuses on the gifts and deeds God will bestow on a few to benefit the many. The gifts include 1) He would be their God 2) they would be His people, and 3) He would dwell in their midst. Genesis chapter 1 through chapter 11 “the promise of God is represented by the successive “blessings announced both in the creative order and on the human family even in spite of their sin. The fathers of Israel (Abraham, Issac and Jacob) received a triple promise. God seals his promises he proved it through Abraham, Issac and Jacob.
El-Roi means “God Who Sees Me or God of Vision” God sees the needs of His people and responds. Genesis 16:13 “And she call the name of the Lord that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me? Psalm 139:1-12
