WHAT KIND OF FRUIT ARE YOU BEARING?? PART 2

Galatians chapter 5

Today we are walking in: What Kind Of Fruit Are You Bearing?? Part 2

Today we look to the word OBEY --H8085 - shâmaʻ, shaw-mah'; a primitive root; to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively, to tell, attentively, call gather together, carefully, certainly, consent, consider, be content, declare, diligently, discern, give ear, (cause to, let, make to) indeed, listen, make (a) noise, (be) obedient, obey, perceive, make a proclaimation, publish, regard, report, shew (forth), (make a) sound, surely, tell, understand, whosoever (heareth), witness.

The Torah testifies.........……

Exodus 23:22

But if thou shalt indeed obey H8085 his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

The prophets proclaim..................

Joshua 24:24

And the people said unto Joshua, The Lord our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey H8085.

The writings bear witness............

Job 36:11

If they obey H8085 and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

"The fruit of the Spirit is ... faithfulness"

Faithfulness

The Greek word pistis can refer either to the attitude of believing (i.e., trust), the content of belief (i.e., "the faith" in the sense of doctrine), or to the trustworthiness or integrity of a person (as in a "faithful friend," "a faithful spouse," etc.). Since the list of fruits here refer to ethical qualities, it is likely that Paul had in mind faithfulness that is associated with truth, that is, reliability, trustworthiness, dependability, etc. Since Yah is faithful (i.e., can be trusted or depended upon), Yah's people are to be faithful, too, and the Ruach HaQadesh enables them to be this way... The Hebrew word bittachon is sometimes used to describe this dimension of faith, which comes from a root word that means to trust, to feel safe and secure. The Ruach HaQadesh enables the heart to be a safe source of counsel and strength for others.

"The fruit of the Spirit is ... humility"

Humility

The Hebrew word anavah implies a sense of inner poverty that can only be healed by giving and serving others. "Blessed are the poor in spirit." Therefore Moses was described as "very humble, more than all men" (Num. 12:3). The translators of the Torah into ancient Greek chose the word praotes to describe Moses' humility (or "meekness"), a word that suggests moderation, gentleness, and even the inability to get angry. Likewise Yahusha described Himself as someone "gentle and lowly in heart" who offered rest for the burdened soul (Matt. 11:29). The Greek word therefore indicates "moderation" and courtesy by esteeming others as worthy of honor. Humility in this sense means being "teachable" and open-minded toward others. The humble or "meek" soul has the courage to ask the Most High, "Search me, and know my ways; test me, and know my thoughts; and see the wicked ways in me – and lead me in the way everlasting" (Psalm 139:23-24). Humility is not a "weakness," since on the contrary, it is a sign of spiritual weakness to be proud and self-serving...

"Who then is wise?" "the one who learns from every man." In the Hebrew tradition, humility is among the greatest of the virtues, as its opposite, pride, is among the worst of the vices. Indeed Yah literally hates the eyes of the proud countenance (Prov. 6:16-17). Therefore Moses is described as the most humble of men: "Now the man Moses was very humble, above all the men on the face of the earth" (Num. 12:3), and likewise the great patriarch Abraham confessed to Yah: "Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Most High, who am but dust and ashes" (Gen 18:27).

"The fruit of the Spirit is ... modesty"

Modesty

This word is often translated as "self control," especially in reference to sexual affections or desires (i.e., "chastity"). The Greek word engkratea literally means "inner strength" "strength" or "power" referring to mastery over one's desires and passions. However, since the strength to turn away from evil to serve Yah comes from the indwelling Divine Presence of the Spirit, it is clear that this word ultimately refers to the life of Yahusha within the heart, providing strength to serve and please Yah. "I can do all things through the Messiah who strengthens me" (Phil. 4:13; Eph. 3:16). Perhaps this is why this virtue is given last in the list, as a sort of summation of the other virtues. Just as the love of Yah is the Source of all grace, so the life of Yah is its End…

Against these great graces of the Spirit-controlled life the law has "nothing to say," since the law (understood in its civil and judicial sense as "mishpatim") was intended to restrain and to punish evil behavior (i.e., the "works of the flesh"). As Paul wrote elsewhere, "the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the unYahly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed Yah with which I have been entrusted" (1 Tim. 1:9-11). In other words, Paul's use of the phrase, "against such there is no law," is meant for rhetorical effect, since no valid law of Yah may circumvent the greater end of the law, which is the outworking of Yah's love for people. The qualities manifested by the Ruach HaQadesh are of a different order of reality altogether: they are of the sphere of Divine Grace and Invitation, not the sphere of the judgment and law.... In other words, we no longer relate to Yah in terms of an external lawcode, but rather by an internal identity as Yah's beloved child. Just as the fruit of a natural vine comes from the vine's own life, so the qualities of the spiritual vine comes from the life of Yah. As Yahusha said, "Without me you can do nothing..." (John 15:5).

The Apostle Paul wrote, "For I through the law to the law have died; that to Yah I will live: I have been crucified with the Messiah: It is no longer I who live, but Messiah who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of Yah, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of Yah, for if righteousness came through the law, then the Messiah died for no purpose" (Gal. 2:19-21). The "deepest root of the Torah" goes back to the Tree of Life whose branches extend to the very world to come... Yahusha is our Tree of Life, just as He is forever our Living Torah.

"Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life is destroying it, but whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life." (John 12:24-25)

"If there is no seed, there is no fruit;" and the type of seed always determines the type of fruit (1 Pet. 1:23; 1 John 3:9). We can sow to the flesh – and reap corruption - or we can sow to the Spirit - and reap life everlasting (Gal. 6:7-8). The formation of "Messiah-like character" is the result of discipline, a word that means to instruct or rear a child and is therefore connected with discipleship and education. Indeed, the Hebrew word for "discipline", a term that refers to moral instruction and guidance, whereas the word for "education" is a term that shares the same root as the word "dedication". Unlike the Greek view that regards education as a pragmatic process of improving one's personal power or happiness, the Hebrew idea implies dedication/direction to Yah and His concrete purposes on the earth. Disciples of Yahusha are therefore called talmidim, a word that comes from lamad meaning "to learn", a word that shares the same root). There can be no discipline apart from education..

The "heart of Scripture" is revealed the Book of Psalms, and the Psalms begin with the declaration that the one who delights in Yah's Torah and meditates upon it "day and night" will be blessed with a genuinely fruitful life:

"He is like a tree transplanted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither.

In all that he does, he prospers."(Psalm 1:3)

In the New Testament we read, "For the moment all discipline does not seem full of joy but of sorrow, but afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been exercised by it" (Heb. 12:11). The Greek word used for "exercised" is often used to refer to training for competitive gymnastic events. Despite the analogy of training or "exercising" the physical body to comply with the directives of the spirit, however, it is important to remember that the life of Yah is a miracle that comes from Yah's own source of Life. It is the fruit of the Spirit, after all, and not the result of human effort or moral reformation. See John 15:1-8. Our lives are sanctified in the manner in which they were initially justified: wholly by faith in the love and grace of Yah... Just as we are unable to "crucify ourselves," so we are unable to produce fruit for Yah in ourselves. As Yahusha said, "Without me you can do nothing..."

The tough question we need to ask ourselves is whether our lives indeed give evidence to the power and agency of the Ruach HaQadesh. Strictly speaking, these nine virtues are qualities that only Yah Himself possesses, since He alone is perfectly loving, perfectly joyful, and so on. But since we are created in the image of Yah and were given the Ruach HaQadesh to help us resemble our Teacher (Luke 6:40), spiritual fruit should be seen in our own lives (John 14:12; 15:1-8; 26-7). The outgrowth of such fruit is invariably a matter of faith - trusting that Yah will help us live our lives in truthful union with Him. If our lives are devoid of fruit, perhaps we are devoid of faith, and therefore the first step is to return to the Most High for healing and life...

Nonetheless, fruit does not immediately crop up but requires time and its own season... The process of spiritual growth is ultimately mysterious and divine: "The Kingdom of Yah is like someone who spreads seed on the ground. He goes to sleep and gets up, night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. By itself ( "automatically") the soil produces a crop, first the stalk, then the head, then the full grain in the head. And when the grain is ripe, he comes in with his sickle because the harvest has come" (Mark 4:26-29).

In the list of the fruit of the Spirit, it is important to see what is not listed.... What is not listed are powerful signs, wonders, or the trappings of worldly success or power. Though spiritual impostors may simulate the exercise of spiritual gifts, they can never "fake" the fruit of the Ruach HaQadesh.... Yahusha did not say that you shall know them by their flash, but rather "you will know them by their fruits" (Matt. 7:16-20).

The Scriptures state twice:"Take root downward and bear fruit upward" (2 Kings 19:30; Isa. 37:31). As Yahusha said, "unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it produces a big harvest (John 12:24). We pray we might surrender ourselves to the Most High fully, being immersed in His passion, "bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of Yah" (Col. 1:10). The "fruit of the righteous is a Tree of Life" "the Tree of lives" (Prov. 11:30). It is the fruit of Yahusha, the Righteous One, who bears fruits of healing for the lives of those who turn to Him in trust...

"I can do all things through the Messiah who strengthens me," not "some things," or a "few things," but ALL things (Phil. 4:13). Yahusha is the Tree of Life, the Source of all our strength. "May you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being" (Eph. 3:16). Let's remember to pray for one another and ask the Most High to help make each of us fruitful to the glory of our Heavenly Father (John 15:8).

WHAT KIND OF FRUIT ARE YOU BEARING??

Galatians chapter 5

Today we are walking in: What Kind Of Fruit Are You Bearing???

Today we look to the word FRUIT --H6529 -pĕriy -- fruit (literally and figuratively): bough, first, fruitful, reward.

The Torah testifies.........……

Leviticus 19:24

But in the fourth year all the fruit H6529 thereof shall be holy to praise the Lord withal.

The prophets proclaim..................

Ezekiel 36:8

But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit H6529 to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.

The writings bear witness............

2 Kings 19:30

And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit H6529 upward.

FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT

Regarding the qualities of heart that are to mark the follower of Yahusha, the Apostle Paul wrote, "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace; long-suffering, generosity, acts of kindness; faithfulness, humility, and modesty – against such there is no Torah" (Gal. 5:22-23). Notice that while there is "one fruit" of the Spirit (i.e., "fruit" is singular), Yah produces a manifold yield, just as the Tree of Life produces twelve different kinds of fruit, one for each month of the Hebrew year (see Rev. 22:1-2).

"The fruit of the Spirit is love..."

Love

Of course love is the "first fruit" of the Spirit, and rightly so, since "Yah is love" (1 John 4:8) and the mark of the follower of Yahusha is likewise be love (John 13:35). The Greek word Paul uses is agape, which is one of the most frequently occurring words in his vocabulary of the Hebrew life. After all, loving Yah is the primary obligation of life: "Hear, O Israel... love the Most High your Yah with all your being" (Deut. 6:4-6), and the apostle later states that the practice of love is the fulfillment of the Torah: "For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Gal. 5:14). "Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law (Rom. 13:8). This is the "kingdom law" (mentioned in James 2:8. Love is the Source from which all the other virtues flow and is their underlying reason: "I live by faith in Yah the Son, who loved me and gave Himself for me..." (Gal. 2:20).

"For Yah so loved the world that He gave..." (John 3:16). Yah's love is expressed in sacrificial giving, since He is the Source and reason for all that exists. "Yah, who needs nothing, loves into existence holy superfluous creatures in order that he may love and perfect them". Perhaps the best definition of love is found in 1 Corinthians 13, where it is described as longsuffering and kind, full of humility, generosity, forgiveness, and so on. Love always uses the "good eye" to resist thinking evil about about others (lit., "does not impute the bad”, in 1 Cor. 13:5) and rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, is full of trust and hope for the good... Such is the portrait of Messiah.

Though Yah's love is the font and source for all the other virtues of grace, it has a practical focus in this list, suggesting that love for Yah will be manifested as good will and good deeds shown to others (1 John 3:17). Though the love of Yah has been "poured out" into the hearts of believers in Yahusha by the Spirit (Rom. 5:5), love is nevertheless a matter of the will, an act of duty and a divine obligation, rather than mere sentiment or matter of the affections, and therefore we are called to love our enemies in this age, that is, to indiscriminately practice acts of righteousness that will benefit them.

"The fruit of the Spirit is ... joy"

Joy

The Greek word for "joy" is chara, a word related to "grace", which is the expression of thankfulness for being forgiven and accepted by Yah. "We rejoice in Yah through Yahusha our Messiah, through whom we have received the atonement," the divine exchange of our guilt with His righteousness (Rom. 5:11). A characteristic mark of the grace of Yah, then, is an inward sense of joy, regardless of circumstances; a sense of rejoicing - even in the midst of sorrow (2 Cor. 6:10). The experience of joy is related to that of hope, since "we rejoice in hope of the glory of Yah" (Rom. 5:2). "For the kingdom of Yah is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace (שָׁלוֹם) and joy (שִׂמְחָה) in the Ruach HaQadesh" (Rom. 14:17).

"The fruit of the Spirit is ... peace"

Peace

Peace and joy are regarded as complimentary graces, "since we are justified by faith, we have peace with Yah through Yahusha our Messiah" (Rom. 5:1), and those who are reconciled to Yah have the greatest reason to rejoice (Rom. 5:11). The Greek word for "peace" is erene, though the Hebrew word "shalom" means more than the absence of strife, but also includes the idea of wholeness, health, balance, reconciliation, etc. In addition to the idea of having peace with Yah, shalom implies the peace of Yah, which passes all understanding (Phil. 4:7). The Most High Himself is called the "Yah of Peace" who crushes Hasatan under your feet (Rom. 16:20).

Ultimately the first three qualities of heart come from Yahusha, who calls his followers to abide in His love (John 15:9) so they can know His joy (John 15:11) and experience His inner peace (John 14:27).

"The fruit of the Spirit is ... long-suffering"

Longsuffering

The Apostle Paul uses the word makrothumia (μακροθυμία), which comes from "macros", "great," and "thuo", "sacrifice," a word that suggests patient endurance of wrongdoing without taking vengeance, or, put positively, steadfastness and tenacity of purpose. The corresponding Hebrew phrase means "long of nose" (the word erekh means "long" and means "nose"), an idiom used to picture the slow venting of air through the nostrils which is characteristic of someone who is slow to anger. The idea implies that we are not easily offended by the faults and character defects of others, just as Yah graciously overlooks our sins in Yahusha... Since long-suffering is an attribute of Yah's Mercy (Exod. 34:6-7), it is a part of His essential character, and therefore Paul later writes that "love is longsuffering" in 1 Cor. 13:4. Another word translated as "long-suffering" is the word "patience," which in Hebrew is savlanut.

"The fruit of the Spirit is ... generosity"

Generosity

The Greek word Paul used here is krestotes, which refers to the disposition of kindness toward others. In the Greek Old Testament, krestotes is used to translate the Hebrew word for tov, i.e., "good" (e.g., Psalm 34:8; 136:1, Nah. 1:7), as well as yashar, i.e., "upright" (Prov. 2:21). In the New Testament, krestotes is used to convey kindness that results from tenderheartedness and compassion, and therefore is associated with a generous disposition (Eph. 4:32). The Hebrew nedivut means "generosity" or "benevolence," and nedivut lev means having a generous heart (a nedavah is a "free-will" offering or donation from the heart).

"The fruit of the Spirit is ... kindness"

Kindness

The Greek word is agathosune, a word that occurs only four times in the New Testament, though it undoubtedly it refers to acts of kindness that are esteemed as "good" in the eyes of Yah. Therefore Yahusha asked, "Is your eye evil because I am good?", which associates the good eye (ayin tovah) with a generous spirit (Matt. 20:15). In the Hebraic mindset, the outworking of the "good eye" is expressed as "the bestowal of kindnesses" or the practice of love. Such benevolence is regarded as greater than (doing the right thing out of a sense of duty) because love anticipates the needs of others and acts from a sense of compassion. As an old Hebrew proverb states: "Doing the right thing out of a sense of duty awaits the cry of distress; benevolence anticipates the cry of distress." Note that the word translated "kindness" may be translated as compassion, goodness, mercy, and so on.

WHY DOES SHAVUOT MATTER???

Exodus chapter 24

Today we are walking in: Why Does Shavuot Matter???

Today we look to the word-GIVE-H5414 nathan-- to give, grant, permit, ascribe, dedicate, pay wages, entrust, give over, deliver up, yield produce, report

The Torah testifies...............

Deuteronomy 3:18

And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD your God hath given H5414 you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all that are meet for the war.

The prophets proclaim..................

Isaiah 40:29

He giveth H5414 power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

The writings bear witness...........................

Psalm 84:11

For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give H5414 grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

WHY SHAVUOT MATTERS

We are nearing the end of the 49 day "countdown" that runs from the second day of Passover until the holiday of Shavuot ("Weeks" or "Pentecost"). This seven week countdown period is called "Counting the Omer" (Lev. 23:15-16), and the 49 days between Passover and Shavuot create a growing "chain" that link the two festivals together:

Here are a few reasons why the appointed time of Shavuot is significant for followers of Yahusha (additional reasons are provided on the Shavuot pages):

Shavuot is regarded as the culmination of the experience of redemption, sometimes called Atzaret Pesach, the "Conclusion of Passover." It is therefore the end or goal of the redemption experience for Kingdom Citizens. Just as the redemption by the blood of the lambs led to Israel's deliverance and the giving of the Torah at Sinai, so the redemption by the blood of Yahusha led to the world's deliverance and the giving of the Ruach Hackodesh at Zion. And just as the covenant at Sinai created the nation of Israel, so the new covenant at Zion created the worldwide people of Yah, redeemed from "every tribe and tongue" (Rev. 5:9).

The goal of the great Passover redemption was to set us free to become Yah's own treasured people, a light to the nations: ambassadors for Heaven's voice. The outpouring of the Ruach Hackodesh may therefore be regarded as the climax of redemption, imparting the presence of the Comforter to help us live sanctified lives (Acts 1:8).

Shavuot at Mount Sinai is sometimes considered the day on which "Hebrewism" was born, remembering the time when the sefer habrit was sprinkled with blood and ratified by the elders of Israel (Exod. 24:3-11) and the giving of the Ten Commandments to Israel. Shavuot in Jerusalem (i.e., Mount Zion) is the day on which the Ecclesia was born, remembering the time when the New Covenant of the Most High was ratified by the outpouring of the Ruach Hackodesh upon the followers of Yahusha.

Agriculturally, Shavuot commemorates the time when the firstfruits were harvested and brought to the Temple, and is known as Chag ha-Bikkurim (the Festival of the Firstfruits). Followers of the Messiah evidence spiritual fruit in their lives as the direct result of the Ruach Hackodesh's regeneration of the heart.

Traditional Hebrewism identifies various middot ha-lev (qualities of heart) that attend to a genuinely Hebrew life. These include(studying Scripture), ahavat Adonai (loving Yah), gemilut chasidim (doing works of righteousness), bikkur cholim (visiting the sick), and so on.

The follower of Yahusha likewise must evidence, though the Source for such comes directly from the power of the Ruach Ha-Kodesh working within the heart of faith. The fruit of the Ruach Hackodesh listed in Galatians 5:22-23 represent nine visible attributes of a true follower of Yahusha:

Note that these priot (fruits) are not obtained through self-effort or various attempts at human "reformation," but rather are a supernatural outgrowth of the grace and love of Yah in the life of one who puts their trust in Yahusha as Mashiach. See John 15:1-8. Our lives are sanctified in the manner in which they were initially justified: wholly by faith in the love and grace of Yah - not by works of our own righteousness (Titus 3:5-6). If we are saved by Yah's grace through faith, we are likewise sanctified by Yah's grace through faith...

The tough question we need to ask ourselves is whether our lives genuinely give evidence of the power and agency of the Ruach Hackodesh within us. Strictly speaking, these nine attributes are qualities that only Yah Himself possesses, since He alone is perfectly loving, perfectly joyful, and so on. But since we are created in the image of Yah and were given the Ruach Hackodesh to help us resemble our Teacher (Luke 6:40), spiritual fruit should be seen in our own lives (John 14:12; 15:1-8; 26-7). Obtaining such fruit is invariably a matter of faith - trusting that Yah will help us live our lives in truthful union with Him. (May it please our Heavenly Father to make each of us fruitful - for the sake of the Name of our beloved One!)

Shavuot stands in contrast to Passover that requires unleavened bread (matzah), since the two loaves of bread made from the first fruit of the wheat harvest were baked with yeast before being "waved before the Most High" (Lev. 23:15-20). There is some uncertainty among Hebrews regarding the meaning of the use of the otherwise forbidden leaven (Lev. 2:11), though prophetically it pictures the "one new man" before the altar of the Most High (Eph. 2:14). The waving of the "two loaves" of leavened bread therefore prophesied the firstfruits creation of the "one new man," that would "firstfruits" of the Kingdom of Yah. As Yahusha plainly taught, ultimately there will be one flock, and one Shepherd (John 10:16).

Each of us - and this is especially true and vital for those who belong to Yahusha the Mashiach - are connected to one another as one new man (Eph. 2:15). Our welfare, blessing, and ultimate salvation is bound up with one another. Just as the midrash says that each soul is linked to a letter of the Torah, so each of us is linked to the Most High Yahusha who gave Himself up for us in order to reconcile us to Yah. Each child of Yah is part of the message of Yahusha's life and love in this world.

At Mount Sinai the Ten Commandments were written on tablets of stone by the "finger of Yah" (Exod. 31:18), but at Mount Zion, the Torah is written on tables of the heart by the Ruach of Yah (2 Cor. 3:3; Heb. 8:10). Regarding the prophecy of the New Covenant, it is written: "I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts" (Jer. 31:33). We are "letters of Messiah, written with the Ruach of the Living Yah (2 Cor. 3:2-3).

Just as the Israelites were affirmed as Yah's chosen people on Shavuot with the giving of the Torah, so the Ecclesia was affirmed as Yah's chosen people at Shavuot after the Mashiach's ascension into heaven as the Mediator of a Better Covenant (Heb. 8:6). The 3,000 souls that were added to the Ecclesia that day were first fruits of the redeemed people of Yah. Followers of Yahusha are "chosen people" through sanctification of the Ruach Hackodesh and faith in the truth (2 Thess. 2:13). We are chosen to be priests and kings to show forth the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Pet. 2:9; Rev. 5:10)

In the Hebrew tradition, Shavuot is compared to a wedding, for it was at this time that the covenant between Yah and the Hebrew People was sealed at Mount Sinai (Passover is considered the time of Israel's "betrothal" or engagement to Yah). The Most High is the Heavenly groom who said, "Accept Me"; the Hebrew people represent the beloved bride; and the Torah represents the ketubah (marriage contract). Likewise, the Ecclesia is called - the Bride of Messiah (Rev. 21:2,9), and we eagerly await the marriage supper to come (Rev. 19:9).

The Scroll of Ruth is read during Shavuot - a beautiful story about Yah's redemptive love. As, Boaz was a wealthy man of the tribe of Judah (Bethlehem) who married a Gentile bride. Boaz's name means "in Him is strength," a picture of the Mashiach Yahusha, his greater Descendant, who also redeemed for himself a bride from among the nations.

We are all in great need for a renewal of the Ruach Hackodesh within our hearts... We are therefore asking the Most High for a renewed experience of His glory and grace during this season.... Shavuot Sameach, chaverim... May you be filled with the Ruach Hackodesh, fruitful in your service, and "clothed with power from on high..."

WORSHIPPING THE MOST HIGH AGAIN PART 2!!!!

Psalm chapter 95

Today we are walking in: Worshipping The Most High Again PART 3!!!!

Today we look to the word-IDOL- H457 'eliyl --of nought, good for nothing, worthless; of false gods

The Torah testifies...............

Leviticus 26:1

Ye shall make you no idols H457 nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.

The prophets proclaim..................

Isaiah 31:7

For in that day every man shall cast away his idols H457 of silver, and his idols H457 of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.

The writings bear witness...........................

Psalm 96:5

For all the gods of the nations are idols: H457 but the LORD made the heavens.

Dear children keep yourselves from idols! Do what? Keep yourselves--how do you stay away from them?? In other words they are always creeping up, creeping in and you have to do something all the time. You have to keep watching them because they will creep in. That's why, one day you'll have a great experience with the Most High and the next day it is like He is not there because something has become more worthy. Some of your worship experiences are like that. People use a template and say, you know but you didn't sing right or you know the musicians didn't have the right spirit or you know this person didn't do whatever. The point is you have to keep checking, monitoring, not what you're doing but who you're doing it to. That is key! Because here you are trying to learn the words of the song, for example. You don't know the words to the song so now you're already distracted because you have to concentrate on the words of the song. So you can't really sing to the one who the song is about because you don't even know the song yet. So you see how there is still a struggle, already in worship. Being on one accord will attract the attention of the Most High! In other words, everybody is on the same page! You know you sing a solo, that's supposed to be your personal song to The Most High! Most of the time our solos are a performance for the people so--the Most High still doesn't show up. Why do we rehearse is a good question to ask yourself. Maybe you need to go do some thinking about why you rehearse. You could rehearse because you are more concerned about what the people think than about presenting quality to the Most High. So now your song has become an idol. Your performance has become your idol. Therefore the means has taken over the end again. But you have to keep yourself from that stuff!!! How do you dress when you come to lead worship can become an idol--you become more concerned about your hairdo than the One who made the hair!! Imagine coming in late because you were more concerned about how you looked than about being on time for the Most High. In the book of Exodus are very interesting details, you have to be careful, the Most High told Moses, to tell the people tomorrow at 3 o'clock--I will meet them at this particular mountain, put a barricade around. He tells them to come at 3 o clock. Wash--He tells them how to wash themselves. He tells them where to stand to meet Him.

The Most High gives them many details-- imagine being late for an appointment to worship the Most High, because you found something more worthy. It happens all the time. 1 John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.

He says Exodus 20:3 (KJV)Thou shalt have no other gods before me. This is very interesting. The first commandment is a jealous commandment. You can understand why. The word Yah is not just a title. What does the title Yah mean? First it means self-sustaining one. Secondly the word Yah means self-sufficient one. Thirdly the word Yah means he who is. Fourthly, the word Yah means he who sustains. What a word, every time you use the word Yah--you are saying that whole list of things!

Read this first command again, what does it say? He says you shall give no one else credit for creating and sustaining everything. Do you see why He starts there? Look at everything that exists--don't give the credit to anything else! That is what that verse means. You shall not have no one else identified as the source of all things! If you do that, He says you've broken the first commandment of life!

Let’s look at the next commandment --Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

In other words, don't you put more worth on anything I created then you put on Me!! What does the word Yah mean? The one who sustains--imagine abandoning your sustenance to find sustenance!! We do it all the time.
Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy Yah am a jealous Yah, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Pause right there, can you conceive of you hating the Most High? He says the way you prove that you hate Him, is by putting worth on anything else including your song to me. That's a horrible word hate. Can you see you hating the Most High?? Come on we love Him!! He said anything that is more worthy, than me can cause you to hate Me. Do you know what is called the first commandment in the law?

Yahusha said it--a man came to Maschiach with a question. Matthew 22:36-38 26 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Yahusha said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy Yah with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment.

That's it--with all of you!! In other words you have nothing left for anything else! Love Him with your heart, your mind, your soul, your strength, if you do that there isn’t anything left for no one else! Yahusha said that's the first commandment--don't let anything come between you and the Most High! Even your worship of the Most High! He says, I will curse your children if you make your car, your spouse, your job or your song more important than Me! I think we can confuse spending time together talking about the Most High with worshiping Him. We confuse the two because we say well you know we had spent time together today in singing and dancing and clapping and quoting scriptures. Because it is an end in itself, we had a good time. Nevermind, what the Most High had. So we had a good time and the process satisfied us--we checked off all the boxes. Yet what consideration was there for and to the Most High?

Creation versus the creator, this is the challenge--I want you to get this foundation because if we don't understand this we won’t keep worshiping, worship!! It's tough spending hours trying to find the Most High and can’t find Him. David says Psalm 63:1 O Yah, thou art my Yah; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; Are you tired of not having the Most High? Have you got enough of being in His absence, presence?

That is what this teaching is about, not about the songs you write or the songs that you sing. It's whether we are singing to Him--whether the songs are for Him. Not to make you famous! There is this balance, a thin line. Why do you write a song? You have to ask yourself a question.

Now let’s look at Pharaoh--when the creation becomes more important than the Creator, the result is misplaced worship. This is the creation of idolatry. When what the creation becomes more important than the Creator, then the worship is misplaced.

Point number two, the greatest temptation in human experience is the elevation of, the distraction by and the preoccupation with the creation more than the Creator. That's our greatest experience problem as humans. Let me say this to you, do not feel bad, because this is not new. You know when the Most High told the children of Israel, I am going to take you out of Egypt and I will bless you and I will take you to a land filled with milk and honey in other words, I'm going to give you a good life!! Milk represents cattle and honey represents fruits--a land with agriculture and fantastic capital. In those days wealth was measured by the stock or number of cattle you had. He said I'm going to make you wealthy, prosperous and rich! Watch the Most High now--listen He says when you become rich--do not forget the Most High, your Yah. Why did He put that sentence in? Because there's this battle between the creation and the Creator. You prayed for the Most High to give you a job, then you suddenly stopped worshiping and praying. The Most High says, I gave you the job but now you won’t worship? So you don't read the Bible anymore---you got to go to this job the Most High gave you?! He is saying wait a minute, I'm going to bless you with the job but when thou have the job do not forget Me!

Write this down please, the value of all things are summed up by the manufacturer of the thing. I am going to say that again, the value of all things are summed up by the manufacturer of the thing. This is a very interesting statement, when I understood this I trembled a little bit. Everything that exists, its value is in the manufacturer. How many ever bought a product, an excellent product and then when it went bad you tried to contact the company who made it and the response was that company went out of business? Have you ever had the problem? How did you feel? First, you felt abandoned. You felt helpless and you were stuck with something that is worth-less. The value of a thing is summed up in the manufacturer of the thing. In other words, everything that exists is as valuable as the source that made it. If that source pulls back on that thing it loses its value making it worthless. I think when you go to buy something, that it costs very much, you should ask the question how long has this company been in business and how strong is this company? Why? You are about to invest a lot of money and you don't want a company closing up on you in two years of making your purchase because you're stuck with a product that can't be fixed!

How many of you got a computer right now, that they say we don't make parts for it anymore? That computer is no good to me. Why? The company closed down--you can't find the people!

What you are left with is worth-less! I'm saying this for a reason, you and I better worship the Most High, because if we don't worship the Most High whatever we worship will cease being sustained by Him! And what you will end up with is a worth less idol. He says your idols have

no eyes they cannot see. The Most High laughed at us, Psalm 115:5-7 5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: 6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: 7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. In other words whatever they do I, the Most High have to do it for them, and you forget me?!?

Write this down, the source is more important than the resource. I am going to say that again, the source is more important than the resource! We should never preoccupy ourselves with the resource at the expense of the source! We must constantly acknowledge the source and thank the source for the resource! What I'm going to teach you is this--worship is not supposed to be something you struggle to do! The reason why we don't worship and even praise the Most High is because we don't connect the source and the resource. What we do is we try to manipulate the source at different times. We have what we call cheerleaders in the church--a cheerleader is a worship leader. What do worship teams do? They've been raised up to force people to praise the Most High. That is because people come without a song, without a hymn, without a tone, without a praise upon their lips! Paul says when you come, there's something Paul discovered that generated a song before the meeting started! If you come without worship or praise already on your tongue--you are an idol worshiper. The reason why you are having so much difficulty even lifting your hands or singing even when the cheerleaders are trying hard to get you to do it. I have seen the cheerleaders sometimes they are tired and struggling--trying to get you to raise your hand to say hallelujah. You should never have to be told to say hallelujah! The reason why is because you haven't connected the source yet to the resource! Because when that connection takes place you sing all the time you praise all the time--His praise will continually be in your mouth! The only way for that to happen is if you have this consciousness that

everything you are, have, ever will have or possess is His! It cannot happen until that thing connects! Praise should be a natural result of the awareness of the source, of the resource--that you have. Hallelujah!!! You have not connected the Most High Yah to the clothes you are wearing! That's why you don't sing--you put on clothes as a matter--you should have been singing when you first saw the clothes hanging in the closet. Thank you the Most High for these clothes that You gave me! Not only that but the wool from the sheep that made the clothes came from You!! It is supposed to be natural--Most High, look at what You gave me--every element of the cloth, thread, buttons, zippers were all supplied by You Most High to make this for me! What I am about to put on my body is from your sheep! How dare you not thank the Most High for your clothes right now!!! This is what He has provided to cover you! We have to realize that He is our source and understanding that, makes Him worth-y! And so you lift your hands and you say thank you for these clothes! But you don't connect the two. You think that your money bought these clothes with money from your job that you work, from your boss, from your company! So you come with the clothes--then the cheerleaders have to wear themselves out for 30 or 40 minutes trying to get you to lift your hand and open your mouth to give the source thanks!

Because you don't connect the clothes. When you come together, Paul says, each one comes with a hymn and a song and a spiritual song. The parking-lot is supposed to be full of noise--people just making their way to the door and there's the sound in the parking lot--these people already connected the car! The oil that the cars made from, came from the mountain that He created!! And the oil came from the ground that made the gasoline and the rubber came from the tree that He made! Now you know this car isn’t mine thank You the Most High!!!

See you wouldn't need no one to encourage you!!! But you have to connect that car to the source!!! How much does your car cost? This is where we miss it, thank the Most High once--that's the problem. Every time we get into that car forget not His benefits!! Thank Him every time you sit in that vehicle! That is acknowledging the worth-ship of the Most High!! Worth-ship, write this down. When we acknowledge the source--worship begins! Acknowledgement of the source is the beginning of worship.

Write this down please, worship begins with acknowledgement! Until you acknowledge, you cannot worship. When you acknowledge the source--worship has started! Singing is not worship. Clapping is not worship. See clapping is supposed to be a natural behavior as a result of realizing something else. It is supposed to be natural from something that you discovered! That's why I started this teaching saying you cannot worship, beyond what you know!

Worship should be on which you know--only what you know about the Most High, will determine how much you worship Him! You cannot worship beyond your knowledge, write it down. I don't care how deep you think you are, this is why the Most High will allow you to go through difficulties not to hurt you but to keep introducing Himself to you at different levels through different ways. So He allows you to go through a lot of difficulty so you can have more material to worship with! When David writes a song it's not for entertainment!! Read the Psalms, all of David's songs come out of an experience with the Most High! He said I killed that lion--the Most High gave me the ability to kill the lion! So David started celebrating the sources’ credibility for the experience! He wrote a psalm. Psalm 48:1-2 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for the situation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. Psalm 61:3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. He says, I was saved, why? I was in trouble, on the run I experienced His name--shield and buckler. The Most High, takes you through experiences to introduce himself to you, so you could have more material to give Him more worth-ship! The bigger the situation the Most High brings you through, the more value you put on Him! That's why you cannot worship beyond what you know about the Most High. You can't invent things about the Most High--it has to be an encounter. You have heard people say, if you knew Him like I know Him then you would praise Him like I praise Him!! In other words you can praise at this level because you have not been at this level of problems yet and they're right. You cannot call the Most High, deliverer if you never needed deliverance! So He's not worth that to you. That's why you can sing a song that someone has written and it doesn't become worship because you are singing someone else's testimony in that book or that hymnal and it doesn't connect to you.

You have to lose something to sing that song! Come on somebody!! You have to lose something to say Amazing Grace, I lost my house and I am still here. Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound but if you have never lost nothing, it's just a song and it becomes a means to going through a service. Am I making sense? The value of your God, the Most High is determined by your knowledge of your God, the Most High--you cannot worship beyond your knowledge of the God you worship! That's why you can't worship idols--because they can't see. So you can't say what

the idols saw for me. So I thank the idol for seeing. So you cannot really worship, that's why the Most High is angry. Because you are putting false value on something that doesn't perform. I love what the Most High told Elijah. He said tell them to bring all their gods! Build an altar one for them and build one for me too. Now put plenty of water on mine. Why? I'm going to show you that their gods cannot perform!! Have you found one thing to thank Him for?? The problem with worshipers is we forget His benefits. That is when people sit back and say, There is no spirit in this service. I don't feel the anointing--let me tell you the problem!! It is not the Most High! He is there but you forgot where, He bought you from! You don't understand so I am going to help you. You know what you used to be, do, drink, smoke, sleep with, hang out with! But David says bless the Lord!! Who was he talking to? Himself! Oh my soul and do not forget His benefits Why? Because He has done something for me!! He healeth my diseases, who crowned me with loving-kindness! Your worship has to come from your experience! Write this down, the Most High demands worship when I read this is amazing! He calls every man to him to worship Him The Most High calls 6.7 billion people today to worship Him only, in Exodus chapter 8 verse 1-2 And the Lord spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Let my people go, that they may serve me. And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:

Now he has a threat from the Most High now--listen to me this is heavy. Look at the word Lord, how does it look in your Bible in all capitals you see. That's the way I got it right from the Scriptures the word Lord here means owner. Read the verse again and put the word owner in--the one who owns everything. The owner says to Moses go and tell Pharaoh, I own him too right, tell him this is what the owner says, let’s stop right there, the owner of everything including Egypt says I want the people to come and acknowledge where everything comes from. Are you listening to me? Do you understand what I just said? It's a powerful command! He said look, whatever they are doing in Egypt--they are not given me credit. The problem is that Pharaoh, you have called yourself God and now you have these people who are believing that you are providing for them. He said to the people, how did they get to Egypt? They got to Egypt because of the famine. He said they were starving and they went to Egypt and I fed them. Now they think that Egypt is their source, they have forgotten Me! Watch what he's going to touch--He touches everything that affects the economy. Pharaoh, if you don't let them go by yourself, I am going to destroy what they think is their source! Do you understand? First I'm going to send you some locusts, they will eat up all the crop then I'll turn the water into blood that means nothing will grow. Then I will send flies. They’re going to finish off all the rotten and ruined crops. Then I'll send death, kill all the first born boys, who's supposed to be the strength family to plant the crops back. Are you ready to let them go now? Do you know what Pharaoh's response was at the end of the whole thing? Go serve your Yah. Pharaoh gave up. Whenever the Most High calls you, He's calling you out to worship Him. What is worship, to acknowledge Him as the source. He’s got to remind you--there's some things that you are not acknowledging me in. Come on nothing can make you worship the Most High faster than the hospital bed!

All of a sudden you want the Most High! He says look don't let me send the files from Egypt, to come and get you. Now what I have done--I am doing and what you know I could do for you and start thanking me now, worship.
Exodus 4:22-23 22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: 23 And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn. Is the Most High rough? Anything that competes with Him for credibility is doomed!!

Worshipping the Most High, again simply means going back to acknowledging Him as the source of everything and that nothing you do for Him is more important than Him--including your worship!

It's very rare that you really sang a song. We sing through songs. We don't really sing the song. Oh Lord, the Most High, you are beautiful I believe it's a tough song to sing if you never saw His beauty am I right? That's like singing about someone you never saw! We sing it but it doesn't connect because it's just words to us, so I want you to stop for a minute and think about a place where you saw his beauty. How about when you were at the point where you just about to give up and he brought in someone or something that saved you from something, and you said what a beautiful solution. That's the beauty of the Most High! Now you can sing that song!! But it's not a song if you don't know that experience, you cannot sing it to Him. So you simply sing it about him.

How many of you heard the voice of the Most High, today? Did you hear something that He said to you? Did He rebuke you? I believe the Most High made the Ark of the Covenant dark so the priests couldn't see anything else. I believe the Most High made the Holies of Holies the darkest room was on the earth. It was covered with badger skin, goat skin, cow skin--all these. It was so dark the only thing that lit that room was Shekinah glory and that was the heart of the worship experience! I believe that's why the Most High sometimes shut all the lights off in your life so you think it's dark. What He's doing is trying to become personal. Anybody been through a dark period--where nobody could help you. I mean you are laying in a hospital, the doctor says it's all through your body and we hope you make it. I don't care how much light in that room--it's dark. You know it's very easy to worship but in order to worship, you have to go backward first! I hope you get it!

You cannot genuinely worship the Most High, until you go back and remember His benefits. Remember when you rented and now you own a house! You used to catch the bus and now you have your own car! The Most High says to us, I have provided all of this for you and you are still trying to find a reason to worship? Having the worship team pump you up so that you can say bless the Most High. Has your soul forgotten all the benefits?

He who heals your diseases? Who satisfies your mouth with good things? I too just like you have to remember--I know people get tired of me talking about where I came from, but let me tell you something that's the source of my worship!

We should every day give Him thanks and praise for where He has brought you from!! Let us not forget the benefits of the Most High! Anybody remember any benefits that you got from the Most High??

I want you to really focus on this teaching this morning. Do not allow anyone to distract you. Today I want to talk about the importance of worship. Please write on the top of your page our topic which is “Worshiping the Most High Again.” I want to focus on the keys to refocusing the object and the subject of our worship. This morning is probably the most important message you have ever heard about the Most High. Everything is about Him, but this afternoon we're going to talk about the Most High in a way that you probably have not focused on Him before. The only way to know the Most High, is to know Him. The only way to read His thoughts is in the Bible. The Bible is the mind of the Most High on paper, it's not only His mind about you and the world and creation but it's His mind about himself. So if you want to know who the Most High is and what he's like it's important to read the Bible. Like many of us, I remember watching Big Ma reading the Bible. I always saw her always reading this book. She was always reading. I would get up in the morning to go to school and there she was reading, I'd come back from school and she was reading the Bible. I still wonder when she worked. She certainly worked, she had to wash clothing for 13 kids, cook for them before they came home from school. Seeing her always reading that Bible made me wonder what is that all about? I said if she knows the Most High and that's how you know him then I want to know him like she knows him and so I'll do what she does. I think that's a very good lesson for parents to remember. Never tell a kid something that they should do if you're not doing it. After all of these years I still do not fully understand everything but I have an understanding of it better than I did before. I want you to appreciate that our session this morning is dealing with worshiping the Most High. What you think is worship, is not worship. You have to know the Most High in order to worship the Most High and you can only worship to the degree that you know someone. The less you know about a person, the less you can worship them and I'm going to show you that this morning in a very simple way. I'm also going to show you this morning why we don't worship the Most High. Most people don't worship the Most High. I'm still struggling with worshiping the Most High because worshiping the Most High is very, very simple but yet very difficult to express at times. Let me begin with a simple concept. The person that you know the most is the one that you normally have no problem appreciating. I watch the athletes on television sometimes when they are interviewed by the news media after a game or something. Whether it's soccer or football or basketball or tennis or whatever and they're interviewed and they would all mostly say I want to thank my mother. They don't talk a lot about their fathers. Most of you in this room probably are the same way. You talk a lot about your mother or whoever was performing that motherly duty in your life. It might have been a guardian, an aunt or maybe a grandparent but whoever that person was that was with you the most and helped to nurture you the most and the one who seemed to be always there and always available and always assisting you--that's the one that you talk about the most. When that person dies or if they die, you'll find that that's the hardest person to let go of and when anyone asks you about your future or about your achievements or about your success you normally refer to that person. The reason is because your level of knowledge of that person is greater than any other person in your life. In other words, we make reference to people who have become the best known person in our lives. We appreciate those who have done the most or us. For some of you it's not your biological mother that has this position in your life. It may even be your father, for some of you it is somebody who decided to mentor you. So your knowledge of people determines your ease of appreciation. Your praise for them, your acknowledgement of them. Write this down please. The first principle I want to focus on is the attraction of the means. I'm going to go in a direction that will guide you now into why we don't worship the Most High. We think we worship the Most High, I thought I was worshiping the Most High. Worshiping the Most High is very difficult and yet very simple. Write this down. There is nothing more tragic in abusing time and energy and resources than to make the means the end. I want everyone to please focus today and focus on the words. I think about what we're talking about I want you young people to think about it. I want you to think about it pastors and ministers and men and business people I want you to think about this--nothing is more dangerous than making the means the end because you waste time, you waste energy and you waste resources when you make the means the end. Point number two the greatest challenge the Creator has with humanity is preoccupation with the means over the end. Let's write this down. I repeat the greatest challenge the Creator has with humanity--that's our preoccupation with the means over the end. In other words the Most High's problem with man is that man is always preoccupied with the means to do something rather than the end for which it is done. I believe this is why the Most High has shown to me a little bit and I know about purpose because purpose has to do with the end. It is because of this purpose of discovery--the reason why, which is the end result. I don't want you to miss this because it is so critical for you and me because we are experts at the means and we very rarely get to the end. I'm going to take a little presumption here but maybe 90% of what you call worship is preoccupation with the means. When I say that, I mean, that the Most High might allow us 10% of worship one day, once a month or twice a year. The rest of it is exercise. We have fun in the process more, than we have adoration for the Most High we activate the process for. there's a pastor who had three cars in his garage two of them were antique cars--one of these cars was 50 years old the other one was a little older there were very expensive cars they were immaculately clean you could eat off the engine they were spic and span every piece of chrome was sparkling, the spark plugs were still new. He had antique cars. They were worth over $100,000 each. I said what do you do with them? Oh nothing, he says, I just have them here--I like antique cars he says. What a pity! He said you know every month I spend a few hours cleaning them to make sure there is no dust and to remove any kind of spots. He's spent hours just cleaning and making sure it's always like this. I said, wow you spent hours and you never drive them? He said, no you don't drive antique cars, he said. I just enjoy having them. That's about how most of us are. We shine up, we sparkle up but we don't necessarily use it for the purpose for which it was made. I am sure that the makers of the thing--the manufacturer of that car did not intend for that car to be parked as a trophy. Am I right? What's the purpose for cars?? To drive them that's why having 10 cars doesn't make any sense. Even though you get the money to buy them, maybe having them makes no sense to the Most High because the purpose for a car is to drive cars not to look at cars and we spend hours cleaning, buffing, shining and waxing and we don't use them for their intended purpose! We never get to the end so the means became more important at the end. Listen to what that pastor said--I don't drive the car. I just like to look at them and clean them and buff them and wax them. In other words the means of the process of making them look good satisfies me. I just like to look at them and say that's my car. Write this point down please, when the means become more important than the end then purpose is aborted when your song becomes more important than the one you are singing to!!! Then the entire worship experience is aborted!! My heart's a little heavy but it is going to be okay, I have tasted the presence of the Most High I know what it tastes like. When I say tastes I'm talking about the experience of the genuine presence of the Most High. I'm not sure I can fully explain what it is--all I know is when it's not there and many times I have suffered that experience but there's not much you can say. Not much you can do, because the Most High cannot be bribed to show up and some of you think it's easy to correct that, it's not. And some of you think you know the answer to it and you don't. I don't even know the answers to it all, but I know one thing--if you ever get the means to become more important than the end then the entire purpose for doing the means is aborted! Write this down the process should take us to purpose but never become the purpose itself!! The last word should be purpose, I’ll say it again--the process should take us to the purpose but the process must never become the purpose itself. This is not easy for us--I am talking about myself as well. That all those watching LIVE on facebook or later on youtube--all of us are worshippers of the process. The process has become our purpose have you heard this one? I paid my dues. That's a mentality, that's real in this world right now. I am ready to be done with service--so I'm going to play golf now. Or I'm going to swim now, I'm going to have lunch now, I'm going to a party now, I'm going to watch TV now. Why? I paid my dues so we got this idea that this process is the purpose where the Most High showed up or not is not important to us. What's important is we went through this process, whatever that process is for a couple of hours and so we paid him our dues whoever “He” is, because we never met him. He didn't show up but we did pay our dues and we are happy. As a matter of fact we are proud that we did sit through that for two hours--we consider that an accomplishment. I made it through the service and the very mentality is I survived the couple of hours and I did this thing, now the Most High I hope you're satisfied, whoever you are. I know you didn't show up but I did my part so the process has become the purpose. We don't come to a meeting to meet the Most High, we come to a meeting to have a meeting. The meeting itself has become the purpose! My heart searches for thee O Lord my flesh yearned for the Lord in a dry and a weary land where there is no water. My soul thirsts for thee, said David. When the process becomes more important than the purpose then idolatry is created. Please write this down when more worth is placed on the means than on the end then the means become an idol. That pastor with that car in that garage is an idol worshiper. He has no interest in that car fulfilling its purpose; having the car is enough for him just having it is enough for him. So it has become the end in itself just having it is enough so he worships this car. Worth-ship is very important whatever you place more worth on becomes the idol even if it's a dance or a song or a drum, a guitar or your solo. That's why I'm telling you worship is very difficult, you think it's simple. I stand here today and I listen to music and that's all I hear musicians play instruments but I'm not sure who they are playing it too. And I'm not blaming anybody. I want you to understand why the Most High has called this conference is about worshiping the Most High again, not worshiping the process!! To worship the Most High write this down please any other worship than the Most High is idolatry that's a simple statement. But a powerful one, you got to think about it for three weeks. Let me say it again. Any other worship other than the Most High is idolatry. That can include your boyfriend, your girlfriend, it can include your spouse, it could include your very children or your single son or your only daughter who you just believe is a gift from the Most High. It may be a job or your two jobs which doesn't give you time to even worship the Most High whatever has more worth than the Most High is an idol that includes the song that you are singing that includes the dance that you are dancing it includes the instrument that you play--you can be so focused and preoccupied with how you sound you have no time to give it to him. Because it becomes the end. Your activity that you call worship, it is always a means--never the end. Write this down please, the Most High detests idolatry I don't think we need to discuss this too much do we? Having an idol and giving it worship is the Most High hating action that man can do. That is what idolatry is. Idolatry is making anything more worthy than the Most High let's read a verse write this down please Psalm 78 verse 58 says they angered the Lord with their high places they aroused his jealousy with their idols now the Bible teaches us not to harbor jealousy it's a matter of fact one of the sins that the Most High says he hates is jealousy and yet the Most High himself becomes jealous only over one thing. The Most High is never jealous of anything else I've searched the scriptures and you never find one thing the Most High is ever jealous of except this one thing idolatry. The Most High is never jealous about your house why? He is not jealous about your looks. Why? He gave it to you! He is not jealous of the money you have!! Why? All of it belongs to Him! Even the ones you thought you had. Everything you think could be a source of jealousy for the Most High is nothing in the Most High's eyes! It's nothing but this one thing idolatry--totally different. I'm going to define idolatry for you because most of us are idol worshipers. Even in our worship, we are idol worshipers. When I say that please hear I'm talking about me too so don't feel like I'm talking down at you! In scripture it says all who make idols are nothing and the things they treasure are worth less. The Most High is speaking about what causes the things you put worth on are worth less, anything that you believe is more valuable than the Most High is an idol and it is worth less. Notice the word worth, the root word is the same word as worship so when you say worthless you saying it is not worth worshiping! Thou art worthy to receive glory and honor and power and dominion and praise forever! This worth thing is dangerous. Worship is determined by worth. Help us me Most High! You can never worship what doesn't have worth to you so anything that becomes more worthy than anything else becomes an idol the Most High. Even the idols that you have put worth on are nothing! That is why the Most High doesn't listen to your song because you've made the song more important than the one it is about! You wonder why the Most High never open this ear to it? Sometimes they are more concerned about the words we use in our prayer then about who we are praying to so he ignores the prayer because the activity has become more important than the goal the subject, the object of the prayer, this is tough again I come with a burden because we all struggle with this first John chapter 5 verse 21 I love this verse it says little children keep yourselves from idols. One of the shortest sentences in the Bible, it's a sentence completely! This sentence it's probably the next shortest sentence next to Yahusha wept. Dear--children do what? Keep yourselves from idols say it again dear children keep yourselves from idols!

TRUE WORSHIP PART 2!!!!

Psalm chapter 95

Today we are walking in: True Worship Part 2!!!!

Today we look to the word-WORSHIP- H7812 shachah--to bow down; prostrate oneself before superior in homage; before the Most High in worship

The Torah testifies.........……

Genesis 24:26

And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped H7812 the LORD.

Exodus 4:31

And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped. H7812

Exodus 34:14

For thou shalt worship H7812 no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

Deuteronomy 8:19

And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship H7812 them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

The prophets proclaim..................

Nehemiah 8:6

And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped H7812 the LORD with their faces to the ground.

Nehemiah 9:3

And they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the LORD their God one fourth part of the day; and another fourth part they confessed, and worshipped H7812 the LORD their God.

Jeremiah 25:6

And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship H7812 them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.

Zechariah 14:16

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship H7812 the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

The writings bear witness............

Joshua 5:14

And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, H7812 and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

1Chronicles 16:29

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship H7812 the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

2 Chronicles 7:3

And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, H7812 and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever

Psalm 66:4

All the earth shall worship H7812 thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.

So it's not worship, it's called repetition. Daniel came out knowing something about The Most High that no one else ever knew. He's a lion taming The Most High. Let's define worship in practical terms. Write this down. Worship is only reserved for the Lord. That is the key to worship. He is Lord. The word Lord means owner but it means legitimate owner. The one who legally owns it. That's the word Lord, you see those of you who rent from somebody the one you renting from is called the landlord. See the word Lord means owner. Very important word. When you see that word in the Bible it means mighty controller. Why? He is mighty because he owns and because he owns, he controls. That's why we call him Lord Almighty. He owns everything, so he could control everything. Worship is the acknowledgement and the ascribing of all things to the source. The Lord owns everything, why? Because he is the legitimate source of everything. Why? Because he created everything. Worship is a result of revelation of the source of creation. Worship is a result. True worship doesn't have to be generated, true worship is a result of something. It's a result of a revelation that you have about who is the source of everything created. When that gets to you when you understand it then his praise is continually upon your lips. The problem is they don't like The Most High. There's no revelation. When you get a revelation of the source of everything, when you get a revelation of it there's this consciousness of constant, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. When you understand where it all comes from you don't need no cheerleaders called worship leaders but your problem is you don't worship The Most High, you worship the worship leaders, and they worship their song that makes you sing and The Most High says I'm not in this. Worship is a natural response to an understanding of the source of all things. The largest book in the Bible is a praise book written by a politician who was the greatest king of the nation of Israel. How can this man who is a politician write the largest praise and worship book in the Bible? Because it's simple, he used to hang out in the hills and David realized that the mountains and the hills belong to him and the bush that he found with a sheep belonged to him. He understood that the tongue he used to sing that song the Lord is my shepherd came from The Most High. So David kept on writing his gratitude. We call them Psalms. And here comes a lion, David said I got a new song today lion. This lion today is bringing me a new song! Who's your lion?? This bear has come to take my sheep--no he comes to give me a new song!

And then the big day came with Goliath, David says I am gonna write about you. I'm gonna write about the Most High, who took your head off!! What you going through ain't nothing but a song!!! The Most High's gonna give you a song for what you are going through, that no one knows but you! They don’t know what you came out to come here, they don't understand but it's a song!! You cannot worship beyond what you know about the Most High, otherwise you're using other people's material. That's why it's important for you to read the Bible for yourself! We run out of things to say to the Most High, because we don't know nothing else!

Worship is total transfer of credit to the supreme source and the owner of all things!! Worship is bowing down to him and say it's all yours--including me!! That's why you prostrate, as a sign that I am yours too! See when you lay down before a king you tell, the King my body, everything is yours. As long as you are standing before a king, the king says--you don't belong to me. You are standing on your own strength--when you lay before sovereignty you are acknowledging that everything you are and have and is--is because of him and we call that worship.

There's a term that we didn't talk about earlier, the Most High is the supreme owner of everything there is a definition I gave you earlier to blow a kiss. Go in your dictionary, in Hebrew look up the word worship and you'll see that there to blow a kiss. Now that doesn't make any sense to us! You know we do it some time in the West, blow a kiss to someone. In the culture of the East, you don't blow kiss to just anybody! You only blow a kiss to somebody you totally depend on!! To worship means to look up and blow a kiss and say, you wonderful thing you!! And you do it all day!! It means I totally depend on you. The Most High is not making the angels bow--read the Bible! The angels bow because they have a revelation of who that is sitting on that throne!! They know in Him they live and move and have their very being!! How about you?? Can you blow Him a kiss? I dare you to blow Him a kiss--see you have never done that before in a worship service and that's exactly what worship means! The first thing in the morning when you wake up you should just blow Him a kiss, while you still in your bed, eyes just opened. Blow Him a kiss, He takes it because it means you are giving Him thanks that you survived the night by His grace! Why worship the Most High? You know whenever you see the word worship is usually followed by the word Lord, matter of fact the words of Yahusha will make sense in a minute. These are very powerful words. But let's look at Psalm 24:1-2 1 The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

The word Lord means owner so take the word Lord out and put that in. It makes a big difference all of a sudden. The earth is the Lord's and the fullness, everything on it and all they that dwell in it. For he founded it--it is His property!! Upon the seas and he accomplished the land out of the waters!! Not only does he own the world and the land but all that is in it!! That's you, your cat, your dog, your house, your CD player--He said look, everything you got--is mine and I made it!! Don't you dare tell me that it ain’t from me!! That's why you blow kisses that is why--you lay down on your face and you prostrate because the minute you think, you are too much to bow, and you too much to lay down--He started taking it back! It is His material! You come to worship service nobody wants to really sing a real song.

Exodus 23:23-24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images. And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Look at the scripture, it says worship the Lord the Most High God. Worship who?? The Most High, the owner and creator of this world and all that is in it! He is the Lord--the owner who is your sustainer!! He is the self-sustaining one!! Worship the owner who sustains--everything!! That is who you worship--bow down to, lie prostate before and to blow kisses to--submit to Him, Why? Because everything I am, have or ever will get--belongs to You the Most High!! And the more you prostate, the more He gives you, because when you give gratitude you increase your latitude which improves your altitude!! When you get close to the Most High, He starts giving you stuff!!

The next part says, in Exodus 23:26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

What He is saying is He will provide for His people who He loves!! His blessings will be on your food and water, I will take away sickness from among you and none will miscarry or be barren in your land--I will give you a full lifespan.

What's the key?? Worship the Most High! What is worship--ascribing and acknowledging that He owns everything!! You keep doing that?? I'll fix you up---overflow blessings!! You gotta give Him some praise!!!

What are we to do, shout unto the Most High for He is the Lord, the owner of all!! It is time to go back to worshipping Him again, not the music or songs! Stop worshipping your cars, your hairstyle, because not one of them could so what we just saw in scripture that He would do for His people! Can that thing that you are worshipping take away sickness from you? So stop going around looking for someone to heal you. That scripture told you how to get your healing!!

But you don’t want to do that, you want a shortcut, a gift--you don't want gratitude!! Why does it take sickness to make you finally turn TV off, get friends out of the room, shut the telephone off and sit there with your body wrecked with disease and you finally say Most High, you are the Lord of all!! See that is key, right there--know that if He doesn’t heal you or deliver you from this bed--No one else can! Now He finally got what He wanted from you! As you say, if You don't deliver me from this pain and He says--this is worship!! That is what worship is, submit!!

When you say to the Most High if you don't bring me out, I can't get out of this one!! That's worship! Don't wait till you have to do it, to do it! Bless the Most High our Lord at all times and let His praises continually be in your mouth!!

I take sickness from among you-- you'll live long. Imagine, long life is tied to gratitude--thank you the Most High!! Thank You Abba!!

We have to learn to say, to Him be the glory! That keeps us aware if we get blessed or something-- doesn't mean anything to me! To Him be the glory! If you keep that in your mouth, you'll keep getting blessed. Keep transferring the credit to Him, to Him be the glory!! Did you get a new house? To Him be the glory! A new dress? To Him be the glory! A new job? To Him be the glory! Healed from sickness?? To Him be the glory!! Just missed that accident, to Him be the glory!! Kids got into college? To Him be the glory! No more lump in your breast? To Him be the glory! Are you breathing and got oxygen? To Him be the glory!! Everything that uses His air, He says give Me thanks--gratitude! What do we use to worship? What do you use for material to worship? What are you bringing to worship before the Most High of the Universe?? In the book of Exodus, worship must be as a result of whatever He asked for including yourself. Worship--what do you bring to worship the Most High?? The answer is the Creator has the right to ask for anything He wants in worship. Why??? Because he owns everything!!! Do you know why He said for you to dance? That's His body!! You know why He tell you to jump--that's His jump! You know why He tell you to scream and shout? That is His vocal cords! He owns it, it owns it all--He is LORD!!! He says make noise and the noise is His, why the air that vibrates on the vocal cords is His, the throat, tongue and lips that help make that noise are all His!!

He says dance--the leg under the dance and the energy to make the leg dance are all Mine!! I want the dance!!

Exodus 10:8-11 (KJV) 8 And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the Lord your God: but who are they that shall go? 9 And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the Lord. 10 And he said unto them, Let the Lord be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look to it; for evil is before you. 11 Not so: go now ye that are men, and serve the Lord; for that ye did desire. And they were driven out from Pharaoh's presence.
Exodus 10:24-26 (KJV) 24 And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go ye, serve the Lord; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you. 25 And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the Lord our God. 26 Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the Lord our God; and we know not with what we must serve the Lord, until we come thither.

You never saw that verse in the Bible before, did you?? They had to bring everything out to worship the Most High, but they did not know before what would be required! So what would be the modern day understanding? Bring all your money before you leave home when you come to the service--He might ask for it!!

Worship is submit to the lordship of the Most High! He has the ownership of everything. When you tell the Most High have Thine own way--That is a dangerous prayer this acknowledges that you know that all of this stuff is His and He may require you to give it all away.

Now you can finally understand the young rich ruler who came to Yahusha, Luke 18:18-23 (KJV) 18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

19 And Yahusha said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. 20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. 21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. 22 Now when Yahusha heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. 23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

Look at that, Yahusha is trying to get worship from the guy. He's trying to get ownership of what he's still hanging on to--He said, take everything you have and give it to the poor and come follow me. The scripture says and he was very rich and he was sad. In other words he never worshipped, he kept ownership. If The Most High says I want everybody to lay on the ground today. If your first thought is in this dress?? It cost me $300!! You lost the Most High. Or maybe He will say for you to kneel but you say but my knee is hurting. What if your healing was in your kneeling on the floor? Remember the scripture that we read earlier, it said, if you worship Me I will heal you! Fiveamprayer we have to find out if there is anything that you have in your life that has more worth than the Most High!

We have to realize that what we were giving the Most High as worship is not what He calls worship!! Suppose you come in one Sabbath morning and He says all that you have been doing, I don’t want that. That He might say, I know that you spent all that time getting ready and I want you to lay out on the floor. Do what He wants, that is yielding to the Owner of all things--that is worship.

Could you imagine kings taking off their crowns I'm laying them down in submit to the King of All! To say that You the Most High have supreme authority!! Will you take off your crown and put it at His feet? That is worship! Suppose the Most High decides to take another offering--will you give in, submit His plan? When you understand that the first offering you gave was His as well as the second one, that He is the one who gave you the job to be able to have an offering to give. As is the car that takes you to the job, is His and the gas that you put in the car, is His!! So are you trying to keep from Him what is already His no matter how you look at it???

So if you are not got to give Him what is His, when He asks--He takes it all from you, destroys everything! So now you have to start over from the bottom and you ask why the Most High, and it is because you wanted to keep ownership!

We come to worship, ready to give all. The Sabbah should be the most wonderful experience in your tabernacle! You should not go into that meeting with any preconceived ideas or the way you expect it to be. Because He can ask for anything! Psalm 29:2 (KJV) Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
Psalm 95:6-7 (KJV) 6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. 7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

We worship because we know from Whom everything comes!! That's why we worship!! Worship is a response of a revelation! The opposite of worship is, number 1 lack of gratitude. You may have thought it was hasatan--it isn't. The opposite of worship is lack of gratitude when you stop being thankful to the sustainer and the creator of all things, you are opposing worship. Another opposite of worship, is self praise when you start taking the credit for everything that you're doing you are self worshiping. Number three of the opposite of worship is self credit you are telling the world that it is you, who brought you, this far. Like that saying you have heard, I am a self-made millionaire. What are you talking you about?? You are about to be like Nebuchadnezzar--Daniel 4:30 King James Version (KJV) The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?

Daniel 4:33 (KJV) The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws.

The Most High turned a king into a beast when he said that he made himself great! It's incredible when you start becoming self-centered!! Number four the opposite of worship is selfish pride. This is what Lucifer fell from. What made Lucifer fall, it is very simple he wanted self worship, he got fired! His job was to make sure everybody worshiped the Most High. He was in charge of the music department, the worship department. See you got to watch your job, because when you start wanting the attention on you rather than the one you're trying to get us to worship, you're about to lose your job!! Pride comes--just before a fall! What is pride, it is self-centeredness. This is about me, it's about me, it's about me! I practice all week and pastor tell me I cannot sing today, then you are angry for three months! This ain't about you remember? He could ask for whatever he wants! Remember? And He might not want your dance today. What He wants is your good attitude--today and it all belongs to him the attitude and the dance! Moses says we gotta take it all, because we don't know what He is gonna ask for. Some of us are being held up because we are not being obedient when He ask for what is His!

This lack of worship is getting in the way of what the Most High wants to do! He may tell you to go home and you give away your sofa. And you may say, that is my favorite place to sit. What you do not realize is that in giving away that sofa allowed Him to replace that sofa with more than that, it was for a new house as well!!!! This holding on to the sofa--means that you think it's yours, you're not worshiping!!!
Job 1:20-21 (KJV) 20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, 21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

Now you understand why Job got seven times back!! You finally understand that this verse shows that Job understood that the Most High is the owner and in control of everything! You can see the total worship Job gave. Job said look, the wife is His, the children is His, the cow and the goat is His, and the barns! That is, so whatever the Most High allowed to be taken was His anyhow!! If He took it, He took it--if He give it back, He give it back whatever--He want to do, blessed be the name of the Most High!!! See when you say that in the middle of the situation--you telling Him You own the situation!! That's worship!!! You don't just praise the Most High when things go good because, even the bad things belong to the Most High!

Job 1:22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

Job understood all things came from the Most High, and he realized he was sustained by the Most High--the minute Job did this. The Most High turn the captivity. The Most High is taking you through and allows you to go through what you are going through--to see if you could sing in the middle of it? He is testing His lordship over your life--worship is acknowledging total dependency on the Most High! Can we fully say, to Him--everything is Yours?

Yahusha understood worship, Matthew 4:8-10 (KJV) 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Yahusha unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

The worship is only to and for the owner--the Most High alone! How can hasatan offer to give to the Most High what is already His? How can hasatan offer to Yahusha, the Owner of everything His own stuff and also ask to have credit for creating it?? That is what he was telling the Most High. To tell him that he made everything. Listen to the words of Yahusha away from me Satan for it is written worship the owner-- stop right there don't go any further! He didn't say worship the thief!!! If you stole this from my kids how can you give me what is mine?! Only give credit to the owner who is the Most High, to him only do you submit!!!

Yahusha says hasatan you can't take credit for what belongs to me and you can tell me to give you the credit!! That was foolish, of hasatan trying to tell the Most High--to tell him you made all of this! Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

So don't you ever give a devil credit even for those things that ain't quite comfortable. What did Job say naked I came and naked I leave out! Which means whatever I got on He gave to me, whatever I live it in, he gave to me! All that I have He gave it to me!!

Job is saying to us if He give it or take it--He is the owner of it all!!! The Most High decides how and what to do with His property!! We see with Job that the Most High says I AM going to turn this man’s situation around now!!!

Fiveamprayer we have to fully realize that everything is from You, Most High! Everything we have--including us, is Yours!! He is the owner of it all your house, your car, your clothes!!! Everything!!!

We must get a revelation of Him being our Source and The source of all!! That is worship!

Luke 12:16-20 (KJV) 16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: 17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? 18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. 20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

The Most High was not against this young man's wealth read carefully, He was against this spirit of ‘mine’. All that we have claimed, give back to the Owner and Creator of it all!! He is the only one who can fix it! That is why you can not fix it, because you don’t own that person or situation! Lighten your load and understand that it all belongs to Him--give it all back to HIM! He alone can we submit to as the Most High, King and Ruler of the Universe!!
