​Luke 24:44-48 ​​​He said to them, “Foolish people! So unwilling to put your trust in everything the prophets spoke! Didn’t the Messiah have to die like this before entering his glory?” Then, starting with Moshe and all the prophets, he explained to them the things that can be found throughout the Tanakh concerning himself.

Without dialogue in comprehending passages from the scriptures, ​t​he narrative would be one steady flow of plot. As a engine​--​dialogue moves the narrative (storyline) and keeps emphasis on the plot. As in the chapter of Luke 24. The narrative plants the scene at the beginning. The theme, what is happening, the environment and then enters a group of characters with a purpose. Yet notice the introduction of dialogue for the plot in the narrative. Two men speak and the dialogue flows as following.

Luke 24:1-7 but the next day, while it was still very early, they took the spices they had prepared, went to the tomb, and found the stone rolled away from the tomb! On entering, they discovered that the body of the Lord Yeshua was gone! They were standing there, not knowing what to think about it, when suddenly two men in dazzlingly bright clothing stood next to them. Terror-stricken, they bowed down with their faces to the ground. The two men said to them, “Why are you looking for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has been raised. Remember how he told you while he was still in the Galil, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be executed on a stake as a criminal, but on the third day be raised again’?”

Looking at the passages of Scripture from these view points,​ plots, themes, characters, pivotal and dialogue.  ​This gives ​a ​sound approach to fully comprehending the volume of wisdom in the words of ​Yahweh​.   As powerful as it sounds​--t​his very same approach is exactly what Yahweh intended for us to be filled with by ​H​is word (Him). The word made fles​h:

John 1:14 The Word became a human being and lived with us,and we saw his Sh’khinah,the Sh’khinah of the Father’s only Son,full of grace and truth.

Understanding the Word and flesh dwelt among us, t​ells me that as I read ​H​is word. We become one.

This approach changes the game from surface reading and words being rehearsed. From pastors that do not comprehend scriptures or the Tanakh on this level of study. You can't have one without the other.

Building passages and narratives as structures that individually belonging to their own narratives. But collectively relates to the objects. You have to understand how important it is to read chapters versus picking scriptures. Due to the fact that there is more to one narrative. As you search the entire Tanakh (Old Testament) and Brit Cha​dashah (New Testament). You'll find similar passages, themes, and plots​--t​hat as a structure (building of passages) will tell the story entirely.

Luke 24:44-47  Yeshua said to them, “This is what I meant when I was still with you and told you that everything written about me in the Torah of Moshe, the Prophets and the Psalms had to be fulfilled.” Then he opened their minds, so that they could understand the Tanakh, telling them, “Here is what it says: the Messiah is to suffer and to rise from the dead on the third day; and in his name repentance leading to forgiveness of sins is to be proclaimed to people from all nations, starting with Yerushalayim.

The point of view: The perspective of the story told by the narrator. Helps the student or teacher focus on situations a specific events. Basically the understanding of the topic at hand and bringing it's entire meaning together.

he widow perceives that every word Elijah proclaimed in the name of Adonai came to pass.

Her viewpoint in light of the many events, poverty, drought, abandonment and despair. Was all summed up in her perspective. The miracles of Yahweh's provision and promises are true

Characterization: When looking in the scriptures and the description of people. It is important to look at 4 aspects

The description of Saul in this passage paints the picture of a tall handsome man. This method of studying characterization is called static

His life was full of ups and downs variations and changes. 

Using the characterization method to study.

One must be careful not to focus on the character entirely.

 reminding oneself that the sum of the study brings you back to Yahweh.

To see Yahweh through the actions, subject and plot of the narrative is to make sure the reader doesn't miss

Hebrews 5:12-14 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

To read one passage from the whole chapter, is to take a part of the whole thought and manipulate the meaning to one's own intellect.

​Kind of like talking while someone else is talking and getting out of the conversation only a piece of what you think was said.  So in turn preaching sermons based off of a scripture or paragraph is known as a part of expositionary teaching or learning. Collectively particularly organized ideas carefully arranged not only to bring simple comprehension, but relevance as well.

​ ​

We must have a 360 degree view, which would give us a complete view of the whole of scripture.  This allows for the details to be included and offers many choices of avenues to go to. To get the whole picture, the chapters of scriptures should be approached.  This will restore the proper setting for full understanding of the text, by seeing the history, t​erritory and culture of the times. What particular topics are written in the passage--gives us a broader understanding for studying the word and reveals His original intention.

Once we have this perspective of the message,

we move to

the meat and potatoes of the teaching that must be honed in on and bond

 to the meaning of the entire message. This breakdown or pivotal point is called the point of focus. What are we talking about summed up into the title.

(art of preaching or teaching). The very form and style of effectively line upon line, precept upon precept teaching of the word.

This process has many factors that weigh into it. Especially when teaching from the Old Testament

​--we have to restore the proper focus and understanding, looking to the beginning to understand the latter portion of His book!! 

It is important to ask the six interrogative questions. To have us bring a broader understanding and knowledge of the passages. Who, what, why, where, when and how. Who are we talking about? Why are they doing what we're talking about etc.

Using these particular method of studying and teachings from the Old Testament

Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

The scriptures contain vast treasures of knowledge, wisdom and understanding held locked up for the seeker to search. These​ very promises by Yeshua to fulfill the void of ignorance to the seeker--a​re held locked up in 

​H​is entire word.

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

​Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

These sections of books in the Old Testament range from creation, genealogy, chronology, poetry, ​
songs and historical events that mark the statues still prominent for ​us today. The importance of using a weapon without knowledge of its make up, ​clearly  shows the ineffectiveness of the user.  We must ​breakdown ​the word, Hebracially to move past partial understanding​!! This reduced understanding limits the full potential of ​this ​powerful tool​. The facade that has developed over the years in an attempt to render​ t​he Old Testament as obsolete-​-would in effect reduce the content of the New Testament! Yahweh comes to teach us His good and right way that we would no longer walk in this 
gross error. W​hen we lack proper knowledge​, our foundation of belief​ is not established and easy to shift with the merest wind of change​. There is nothing ​left ​but hit and misinterpretations​, when we live our lives this way​.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Even for one's eyes to be open to such a​n awesome​ miracle. Yes a miracle!!! For the blind to see and ears to hear the revelation to the wise instructions to life in the kingdom. Wisdom at its finest takes a move of the Ruach Hachdesh (Holy Spirit) for one to be born again. Mat​t​h​ew​ 13:16 and​ John 3:7.

This is needed in order to see the Tanakh open up and come alive. Then you will see Yashua is in every book of the Old Testament.  For He says to the scribes and pharisees if you had believed Moses, you would believe me.  ​Why would He refer to the text in the scriptures, would point to Him?  The only scriptures at that time would be from the Tanakh!  The disciples teachings jump out of the old testament pages. As well as the life, death and resurrection of Yahweh​,​ Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ). But only through fasting and prayer and perseverance. Will the change in process of crossing over the proverbial Jordan of your mind. ​Then you will ​be able to find the land of promises found in the Tanakh.​  To hear this teaching again click here.

Deuteronomy depicts the promise of Israel's occupation in the land of Canaan, as promised in 

the

pages of His word. This scripture tells us about the blessings and curses, life and death, success and failures. The laws of Moses are closely connected with the success and failure of Israel and the church as a whole. Moses was given the law, not as a dictation of how Israel should conduct themselves, 

but as a guideline from heaven. These were instructions on successful kingdom living from a King. How does a king conduct oneself? The law Yahweh gave Moses was given to teach, rebuke, correct and train them unto kingdom living. Moses with the title as the deliverer of the Torah (Yahweh's teaching and instructions into righteousness). For the patterns of life was given to Moses by Yahweh. So in turn Yeshua (Jesus) came to shed light on the false doctrine of self (man). As Moses confronted pharaoh in Egypt to let the children of Israel go. From false doctrine and idolatry worship. So Yeshua confronted the Pharisees and religious leaders of his day. As the example that Yahweh gave unto Moses a guideline, plumb-line into the straight and narrow path of kingdom examples from the king himself.

​This is what was handed ​down from on high in ancient times to Moses. Yet even in Moses time, there were numerous oppositions that occurred against that implementation of the statutes of life--murmurous backbiting, rebelliousness against Moses and in turn to the one and only true Yahweh. It is the same as it was then and ​repeated throughout history--the people that did confess that they would follow but, ​ ​

their actions said that they would not.

​Without teaching or retaining the old testament as relevant--people would not have the words, laws and statutes Moses received from Yahweh at mount Sinai. All of the years of misunderstood and misdirected doctrines have lead us to our current state we have today.  This will give us the distancing that we see currently from the interpretation of Scripture will continue to alter our course if even by just a small amount results in a complete alteration of the desired destination!

​We watch Moses develop into a leader that Yahweh called him to be. Focused on the very word of Yahweh and relaying eternal words of commands for not just Israel but kingdom living for all. This was found within the very words of the commandments. These statutes where followed through out Israel's history. If you are a scholar of the Bible​, this is easily found. You wouldn't have to be a historian to see. The rise and fall of the nation. Due to obedience and disobedience of the very

​foundations given to the citizens of His kingdom, for successful living.

​Yes, this is contained in the old testament that has gone out of fashion--given by Yahweh to Moses for

​His people. This law is a guide of success over imaginations and tongues--doesn't become law until you break it. How can you continue to teach spiritual to the physically untaught? They die

​and in their seed grows the offspring--in the wilderness, a whole generation died out, save a few

​to see the promised land. Moses spoke to a whole generation to teach the new lifestyle of holiness of Yahweh. Only to have the next-generation receive the promise. So in Yeshua's time a few received the Messiah's message, that was already taught(throughout the old testament). Yet the masses rejected the message of Yahweh as salvation in the flesh and His teachings and instructions into life that is forever.

John 5:46-47 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

Building a case for the reading and instructions of the Tanakh (Old Testament) as it is still prevalent for us today. Like a defending lion in his element--the disciples where taught and instructed from the holy manuscripts of old. These texts were used for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training the community according to His word, the scriptures.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

It is funny how those who have yet to cross over into a Hebraic mindset, look solely to the New Testament scriptures but the scripture that is referenced and had been written thus well known for hundreds of years. So there is no way that the Brit Chadashah or the New Testament could refer to itself as it's own reference???  They were living the scriptures, for they weren't written yet. For they were still in the process of being lived and written years later. So the all scriptures part had to and was referring to the study of the first five books of the word, prophets, and the writings. All of which were studied by Yeshua and all of the disciples as Israelites citizens.
