Thank You Lord God Almighty for sending Your servant Deacon Troy to bring us a teaching on our heart condition.  Thank You for the time that he spent in Your presence making ready for sharing what You poured into him for this morning! 

Psalm 5

We pray that You would pour back into Deacon Troy for how he shared Your word with us this morning.  Thank You Adonai for showing up to show us ourselves.  That it is only You that we have sinned against.  Thank You Elohim for coming to reveal us to ourselves that we can be in right standing with You.  Have us to take and make the correction that we would seek and work to be right with You.  That we would press into Your word and in prayer to set down our fleshly ways.  That we would inspect what we are not doing or seeking the things the seem right to us alone, but that which meets Your approval.  Keep us while we accept the correction and walk according to Your leading and guiding us!  Hallelujah, Lord God in heaven, You are the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob!  To hear this again click here.

Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:2 John 1:3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

Thank You Lord God Almighty for sending Your servant to teach on wisdom this morning.  We pray that You would use Pastor Wagner in a mighty way, that her flesh would sit down and yield totally to the Holy Spirit!  Have Your way and move on this line, we cry out to Abba!  Thank You for meeting us early in the morning in the cool of the day with this on time word!  Amen!

ARE YOU? ARE YOU GROWING IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD? WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO KNOW GOD? WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO INCREASE IN THAT KNOWLEDGE AND IN THAT WALK WITH GOD? DO YOU FEEL SOMETIMES THAT GOD IS FAR FROM YOU? DO YOU LACK HIS PRESENCE AND HIS COMFORT?
IT IS OUR GREAT CALLING, AS CHILDREN OF GOD, TO KNOW HIM AND TO PRESS EVER MORE UNTO THAT KNOWLEDGE WHICH IS ABOVE ALL THINGS MOST PRECIOUS, THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD.

BUT WE MAY BE MORE SPECIFIC. GOD HAS GIVEN CERTAIN MEANS WHEREBY WE GAIN THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD. SOME OF THOSE MEANS ARE THE FOLLOWING.
FIRST OF ALL, AND CENTRAL, ARE THE SCRIPTURES. THE SCRIPTURES ARE GIVEN TO US AS THE WAY WHEREBY WE COME, BY HIS GRACE, TO A KNOWLEDGE OF THE LIVING GOD. IN JOHN 5:39, JESUS SAYS TO THE UNBELIEVING JEWS, "SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES; FOR IN THEM YE THINK YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE: AND THEY ARE THEY WHICH TESTIFY OF ME." IN PROVERBS 6:22, SOLOMON DESCRIBES THE HOLY SCRIPTURES IN A VERY BEAUTIFUL WAY. HE SAYS CONCERNING THE SCRIPTURES: "WHEN THOU GOEST, IT SHALL LEAD THEE; WHEN THOU SLEEPEST, IT SHALL KEEP THEE; AND WHEN THOU AWAKEST, IT SHALL TALK WITH THEE."

THE SCRIPTURES, FIVEAM FAMILY ARE THE TALKING BOOK--THEY SPEAK TO OUR HEARTS, THEY GIVE TO US THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD.

NOW, YOU CERTAINLY HAVE TIME FOR WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU. IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD IMPORTANT TO YOU? DO YOU THIRST AFTER THAT KNOWLEDGE OF GOD? THEN YOU ARE CALLED BY GOD TO SPEND MUCH TIME IN THE STUDY OF HIS WORD. IN THE BIBLE WE HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD THROUGHOUT TEACHING US, COMFORTING US, CORRECTING US, LIFTING US UP TO KNOW HIM AS THE TRUE GOD. SURELY IT IS NOT A LIGHT THING FOR ME TO ASK YOU TODAY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR BIBLE? TELL ME WHAT YOU ARE DOING WITH YOUR BIBLE AND YOU HAVE TOLD ME MORE ABOUT YOU AND WHERE YOU ARE THAN ANYTHING ELSE. WHAT IS THE BIBLE TO YOU?
AS BELIEVING CHILDREN OF GOD WE CONDEMN THOSE WHO IN SUBTLE WAYS DENY THAT THE BIBLE IS WORD-FOR-WORD THE WORD OF GOD. ALWAYS THERE ARE THOSE WHO INSINUATE THAT THE BIBLE IS, AFTER ALL, A MARRED BOOK, FILLED WITH ERRORS. WE BELIEVE THAT THE BIBLE IS WORD-FOR-WORD GOD'S WORD. WE QUOTE FROM TIMOTHY: "ALL SCRIPTURE IS GIVEN BY INSPIRATION OF GOD." IT IS ALL GOD-BREATHED. BUT WHILE WE CONDEMN THOSE WHO DENY THAT THE BIBLE IS GOD'S WORD, WHAT ARE YOU AND I, AS BELIEVERS, DOING WITH THAT WORD OF GOD? THE DEVIL IS AS PLEASED WHEN WE DO NOT READ THE BIBLE AS HE IS WHEN MEN STAND IN THE CHURCH AND DENY THAT IT IS GOD'S WORD. THE DEVIL DOES NOT CARE IF WE, ON THE ONE HAND, STRONGLY DISAPPROVE OF THE FACT THAT MEN SAY THE BIBLE IS NOT GOD'S WORD AND, ON THE OTHER HAND, WE OURSELVES DO NOT READ IT. HE IS EQUALLY PLEASED.
LIBERALISM, THAT IS, THE DENIAL THAT THE BIBLE IS WORD-FOR-WORD THE WORD OF GOD, LEADS THE CHURCH ON THE PATH OF DESTRUCTION. BUT SO DOES DEAD ORTHODOXY: A MERE NODDING AND OUTWARD ASSENT TO THE TRUTH BUT NO REALITY OF THAT TRUTH IN OUR OWN LIVES.
IF YOU DO NOT READ THE BIBLE AT ALL, I CANNOT SPEAK TO YOU OF PEACE AND I CANNOT SPEAK TO YOU OF HEAVEN. I CAN ONLY BRING THE WORD OF GOD TO YOU AND YOU SHOULD ALSO BRING IT TO ME: READ! READ, THE HOLY SCRIPTURES. READ THE HOLY SCRIPTURES WITH REVERENCE. READ THE HOLY SCRIPTURES WITH A THIRSTING HEART. COLOSSIANS 3:16, "LET THE WORD OF CHRIST DWELL IN YOU RICHLY IN ALL WISDOM; TEACHING AND ADMONISHING ONE ANOTHER IN PSALMS AND HYMNS AND SPIRITUAL SONGS, SINGING WITH GRACE IN YOUR HEARTS TO THE LORD."
HOW DO WE GROW IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD? WE GROW IN THAT KNOWLEDGE THROUGH THE HOLY SCRIPTURES.

BUT MORE. WE GROW IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD THROUGH PRAYER. WE READ IN JEREMIAH 33:3, "CALL UNTO ME, AND I WILL ANSWER THEE, AND SHEW THEE GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS, WHICH THOU KNOWEST NOT." THAT IS THE WORD OF GOD TO JEREMIAH HIS PROPHET WHO HAS BEEN CAST INTO A PIT BECAUSE OF HIS FAITHFULNESS TO GOD. IN THAT PIT GOD SAYS TO JEREMIAH: CALL UNTO ME, PRAY, AND I WILL ANSWER. I WILL DO MORE THAN JUST ANSWER. I WILL SHOW YOU THINGS THAT YOU DO NOT YET KNOW, GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS, THINGS CONCERNING MYSELF.
PRAYER IS ESSENTIAL IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD. WE ARE INVITED BY THE HOLY SCRIPTURES, WE ARE ASKED BY GOD TO COME TO HIM, TO TALK TO HIM - REVERENTLY, FOR SURE. WE ARE CALLED TO PRAY. THROUGH THAT PRAYER WE GAIN AND GROW IN KNOWLEDGE OF GOD.
****AS YOU PRAY, DO NOT LOOK AT YOURSELF. DO NOT ASK WHETHER OR NOT YOUR WORDS ARE ADEQUATE. DO NOT CONCENTRATE UPON YOUR OWN WORTHINESS OR UPON YOUR WORDS OF THEMSELVES. PRAY FROM YOUR HEART. POUR OUT YOUR HEART BEFORE HIM, SAYS PSALM 62.
HOW CAN WE KNOW GOD WITHOUT PRAYER? PRAYER BECOMES THE POWER FOR HOLINESS. PRAYER AND SIN CANNOT EXIST AT THE SAME MOMENT IN THE HEART. PRAYER STRENGTHENS US BY DRAWING US CLOSER TO GOD SO THAT WE LIVE BEFORE HIS FACE. PRAYER GIVES TO US CONFIDENCE IN GOD, CONTENTMENT IN GOD, AND THE PEACE THAT IS FOUND AT GOD'S RIGHT HAND.
The only thing that is keeping you from being able to receive this unlimited and abundant source of knowledge from God is yourself. WHAT verses from Scriptures are trying to tell US – IS THAT there is only one way to get God to release His knowledge to you, and this involves three very easy and simple steps:
First – you have to really want and really desire the knowledge of God for you and your life. Scripture says that you have to “desire truth” in your inward parts, that you have to be willing to “cry out” for it and “apply your heart” to understand it. All of these key phrases are describing someone who has a major desire for this knowledge.
Second – you then get the ball rolling with God by starting out by asking Him to start to release His knowledge to you. Tell God that He now has a full and solid green light from you to release His knowledge whenever, however, and through whoever He wants to release it through. Tell God that you really want His knowledge released into your life, that you cannot live without it, and that you need it in order to be able to grow in the way that He wants you to grow in Him.
Third – and this step is what will make or break you in this realm – you now have to be willing to start to seek after the knowledge of God for your life. Once you put the request on His altar that you now want Him to release His knowledge to you – God will sit back and watch what you will do next. The Bible makes it very clear. It says you have to seek – and then you will find. It says you have to knock – and then the doors will opened for you. Two of the above verses state that you have to seek after the knowledge of God as one who would seek after silver and as one who would search for hidden treasures. These two key phrases are again showing someone who not only has a maximum desire for this knowledge – but someone who is willing to go into a maximum seeking mode to get it!
As I said, if there is one major secret I have personally learned from the Lord to get Him to release more of His knowledge into your life – is that you have to be willing to go into some kind of seeking mode with Him to get it.
At first, your actual desire may just be one of initial curiosity. You may wonder – will God really start to communicate and transmit His knowledge to me if I start to press in after it? If you are willing to give God just a few baby steps on your end to start to press in and seek after His knowledge, then God will be more than willing to meet you halfway. He will start to communicate and transmit His knowledge to you. And once this process starts, your hunger and desire for it will start to increase.
You will start to find that God does want to get personally involved in every area of your life – and that there is nothing that He cannot give you His knowledge on to help you be better at something, or to help increase your knowledge and understanding on a particular subject or issue you may be dealing with.
To show God that you really mean serious business with Him on this seeking mode – here are a few suggestions that you should attempt to seek into to get God to want to release His knowledge to you on a wide variety of matters and issues in your life:
You first have to show God you mean serious business with Him by getting into His Word – the Bible itself. If you are not willing to spend some kind of regular quality time in His Word – then chances are, God is not going to have much of desire to want to release His knowledge to you. The reason for this is the Bible is the only Book that we have down here that will give us direct knowledge about the Lord and all of His ways. If you are not willing to show God that you have a major desire to want to know more about Him, His Son, and His Spirit by reading from the only source that can give you this type of direct knowledge about the Three of Them – then God may not have much of a desire to want to release any of His knowledge your way.
A second good source of God knowledge that you can tap into besides the Bible are other good Christian books written by anointed teachers from His Word. God has anointed many to be able to teach from His Word and you can learn a lot from their writings and experiences. Many of the Christian outlets and bookstores are loaded with good, quality reading material that will help you grow in the knowledge and ways of God. You can also ask the Holy Spirit to help guide you as to which books you should read at your present level of development with Him. You will then find certain books jumping off the shelf at you as to what He would really like for you to read next. What I have found is that God will sometimes alternate between having you read from the Bible and reading from other good, Christian books.
Another good source to learn more about God and all of His ways are the radio and TV. Again, God has anointed many of His teachers to be able to preach and teach from the podium. Many of these teachers have their own radio and/or television ministries that you can listen to or watch from.
Another good source that God will use to teach you things is just from the normal circumstances in your everyday life. This will be another whole article in itself, but there are many different ways God will use to transmit His knowledge to you if you are sharp enough and observant enough to pick it up. God will talk to you though other people and different sets of circumstances. Once you start to enter into this knowledge journey with the Lord – you really have to keep your radars up each and every day as you never know when, how, or through whom God will speak to you next.
And last, but certainly not least, you will start to pick up knowledge direct from the Holy Spirit Himself. You will start getting “inner knowings” as to what certain things may mean. The Holy Spirit can also give you “inner visions” or “mental pictures” in your mind’s eyes when He is trying to communicate knowledge to you on something specific. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. The Holy Spirit loves to communicate knowledge by way of these visions or mental pictures in your mind’s eyes. He will also help you in interpreting what these pictures mean. Again, your job is to keep your radars up each and every day and jump on anything that God will start to transmit and pass your way.
If you are willing to show God that you mean serious business with Him by starting to seek after His knowledge through some of the above avenues, then God will start to supernaturally show Himself to you in this realm, and will start to communicate and transmit His knowledge and wisdom to you covering every area of your life that you are open to receiving His help and knowledge on!
With knowledge comes power! Knowledge will help you grow in the Lord! The knowledge of God will help change and alter the course of your life if you are willing to seek after this knowledge and work with the specific truths that will be contained in this knowledge. The knowledge of God can help set and make you free in this life. And you do not have to wait until you get to heaven before you can start to receive this kind of knowledge from God. God can start to educate you right where you are at right now if you are open to receiving it from Him.
I will leave you with one last thought. Look how far God the Father was willing to take King Solomon. If God was willing to take King Solomon this far in the realm of His knowledge – how far will God personally take you if you are willing to press in and start seeking after Him and all of His knowledge?

Means the Lord is There – He is everywhere, seeing everything all at the time. His name also means, The Lord is Present in your presence. The saints are God's heritage, and the Lord is there, to guard and hold His own. To get a better understanding of Jehovah-Shammah The Lord is There we have to understand the book of Ezekiel, this will be a 4 part study of this characteristic of His Name Yahweh Shammah

The book of Ezekiel, concludes with these blessed words, as the name of the great city of the latter days. When all conflicts shall be ended, when the scattered shall be gathered, when the tabernacle of the Lord shall be among them; then this which is Zion's bulwark to-day, shall be her everlasting glory. JEHOVAH-SHAMMAH—"The Lord is there."

Ezekiel 48:35 is the end of the beginning of this book Ezekiel. We’re talking about the Past of the beginning how God introduced his glory of the Lord. Jehovah-Shammah – The Lord is there.

Ps 19:1, 2, 3, 4 David teaches that the glory of the LORD has been present since the beginning of time as seen in His creation. Paul echoes David writing that...since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature (all of which speak of God's glory for each of these characteristics gives a proper opinion of God), have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. (Ro 1:20)

In contrast to God's glory seen in Creation, the glory summarized in this table refers to specific manifestations of His glory, past, present and future.

How did God choose to manifest Himself to His people Israel after redeeming them from slavery in Egypt?

Ex 13:21
Moses describes the Shekinah Glory.
And the LORD (Jehovah) was going before them in a pillar of cloud by day to lead them on the way, and in a pillar of fire by night to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night.

The Shekinah glory cloud signified Jehovah's presence, provision (light), protection (in the darkness) and "piloting" (guidance)

Ex 14:19, 20
How did the Shekinah glory protect Israel from the pursuing Egyptians? Who is associated with the glory?

And the Angel of God (Messiah), Who had been going before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and stood behind them. (cp Nu 12:5, Dt 31:15, Neh 9:12)

The Angel of God is associated with the Shekinah pillar of cloud and fire. The pillar was designed for the comfort of Israel and the consternation of her enemies (Nu 14:13,14)

Moses while not mentioning the pillar of cloud and fire, alludes to Israel moving at God's command, implying the movement of the pillar (cp Ex 40:36, 37)

Then all the congregation of the sons of Israel journeyed by stages from the wilderness of Sin, according to the command of the LORD, and camped at Rephidim, and there was no water for the people to drink. (Ex 17:1)

Throughout the Exodus the Shekinah glory cloud and fire were a sign or manifestation of the presence, provision and power of Jehovah.

We are walking in today:  Supernatural Living By The Word Of God.

This morning we welcome Brother Eugene who is teaching on supernatural living!  Thank You Adonai for coming to teach us to live in Your kingdom and according to Your word!  There is no other way for us to live that was mandated by the Almighty so long ago!  We pray that You would use him in a mighty way this morning, that he would yield to the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit, as he speaks!  Thank You for his obedience in study and delivery of Your word!  Amen!

Psalm 82:5-7 5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. 6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. 7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 

What ever God can do, His word can do!
1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

We have to feed on the word of God!  Fiveamprayer, have a regular intake of the word!  Feed your spirit man, a heavenly diet of the word of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!
John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
John 10:34-35 34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

Isn't it written that you are gods?  The word of God makes you gods.  You can not go where you have not feed on the word of God.
Galatians 3:5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Hearing by revelation.  Revelation by faith.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Faith comes by revelation. We can not live a Christian life with head knowledge!  The children of Israel had to have faith to leave Egypt but did not have faith enough to immediately enter in to the promised land.
1 Corinthians 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

When Jesus Christ of Nazareth came He restored to us dominion.  It is our belief in Christ that we can only access by faith.

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Hebrews 3:16-19 16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. 17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Romans 10:8-10 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Faith is of the heart, not of the mind.  We have to consider our state of mind, the capacity of the heart for faith.  We have to believe before we see!

2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

Little sins kill the vision of God in your life.  Faith grows in the heart.  We have been given a voice of consciousness by the Holy Spirit but sin defies this voice and brings condemnation.

1 Timothy 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

James 1:4-8 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Doubt is the same as unbelief.

Romans 14:22-23 22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. 23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Unbelief from little sins, doubt in mind then faith can not grow!

Sins are forgiven and doubt removed. By Jesus Christ of Nazareth our sins are forgiven!  We must have a pure heart!

Hebrews 4:1-2 1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

When you have doubt in your heart, it is hard to receive from God.  He is faith personified.  Thinking and feeling like God, is how we are to rest.  Free from anxiety.  We have to take our faith in this Christian walk.  We know that without faith it is impossible to please God!  We have faith by revelation--Fiveamprayer, seek revelation!

He has given us boldness over our situation!  Without faith nothing else is left in the Christian walk!

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Faith is a gift from God!
Habakkuk 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

The just shall live by faith.
Hebrews 10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Galatians 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.  Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

We stand by and on faith.

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

We overcome by faith.

James 5:13-15 13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

We are to speak by faith.

2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

We are called to radical faith, to speak His word from our hearts where it is hidden.  He has a word to speak to every situation.  Fiveamprayer, we must have revelation!  We must not be so focused on head knowledge, for the knowledge of God is too much for our brains!  We need revelation to increase our faith.  Seek revelation.  When you are lacking revelation, anxiety will attempt to take over you.  Stay in the word, study and pray.  Seek revelation, for a man with revelation is a man with a solution.  Failure is found outside of faith.  The word says to be anxious for nothing--Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Faith is the currency of the Lord God Almighty's kingdom.  Fiveamprayer, speak faith, breath faith--be not double minded!  Stand steadfast--
Psalm 62:6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.  Psalm 121:5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.  Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.  Psalm 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

This morning we have Pastor Wagner on the line this morning teaching from the book of Hebrews. Thank You Lord God in heaven for using her in a mighty and awesome way this morning.  Thank You for her obedience in preparing this teaching.  Thank You for sending us this on time word for us today, Adonai!

THE VERY THEME OF THE BOOK OF HEBREWS IS HOW TO MAKE CHRISTIANS BELIEVE, HOW TO MAKE CHRISTIANS ACT LIKE CHRISTIANS. THIS IS WHAT THE WORLD IS WAITING TO SEE AND WHAT THE EPISTLE WAS WRITTEN TO EFFECT. IT IS ADDRESSED TO A GROUP OF JEWISH CHRISTIANS WHO HAD BEGUN TO DRIFT, TO LOSE THEIR FAITH. THEY HAD LOST ALL AWARENESS OF THE RELEVANCY OF THEIR FAITH TO THE DAILY AFFAIRS OF LIFE. THEY HAD BEGUN TO DRIFT INTO OUTWARD FORMAL RELIGIOUS PERFORMANCE, BUT TO LOSE THE INNER REALITY. DOUBTS WERE CREEPING INTO THEIR HEARTS FROM SOME OF THE HUMANISTIC PHILOSOPHIES THAT ABOUNDED IN THE WORLD OF THEIR DAY, AS THEY ABOUND IN THE WORLD OF OUR DAY. SOME OF THEM WERE ABOUT TO ABANDON THEIR FAITH IN CHRIST, NOT BECAUSE THEY WERE ATTRACTED AGAIN BY JEWISH RITUAL AND CEREMONY, BUT BECAUSE OF PERSECUTION AND PRESSURE. THEY FELT IT WAS NOT WORTHWHILE; THEY WERE LOSING TOO MUCH, AND THAT IT WAS POSSIBLE, JUST POSSIBLE, THAT THEY HAD BEEN DECEIVED AND THE MESSAGE OF CHRIST WAS NOT TRUE AFTER ALL.

WE HAVE TO REALLY GET INTO THE HABIT OF PAYING ATTENTION TO EVERY ASPECT OF WHAT GOD IS SAYING, DOING, AND TO WHAT WE ARE HEARING THROUGH HIS WORD!


HEBREWS 2:1-4
1 WE MUST PAY THE MOST CAREFUL ATTENTION, THEREFORE, TO WHAT WE HAVE HEARD, SO THAT WE DO NOT DRIFT AWAY. 2 FOR SINCE THE MESSAGE SPOKEN THROUGH ANGELS WAS BINDING, AND EVERY VIOLATION AND DISOBEDIENCE RECEIVED ITS JUST PUNISHMENT, 3 HOW SHALL WE ESCAPE IF WE IGNORE SO GREAT A SALVATION? ***WHAT IS THAT PLACE WHERE SOMEONE HAS TESTIFIED TO IN ***HEBREWS 2:6-8 ,  IF WE HAVEN‘T READ IT, LET’S LOOK UP THAT PLACE WHERE SOMEONE TESTIFIED, AND WHO WAS THE SOMEONE? LET’S  GO THERE. LET’S TURN OUR BIBLES TO THE BOOK OF PSALMS

SO THE PLACE WHERE SOMEONE TESTIFIED IS PSALMS 8:4-9 AND THAT PERSON WAS DAVID,

DON’T YOU WONDERED WHY PAUL DIDN’T JUST SAY “BUT THERE IS A PLACE WHERE DAVID HAS TESTIFIED AND THAT PLACE IS PSALMS 8:4-9?

THAT’S BECAUSE GOD WANTS US TO STUDY, READ SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY, GO DEEPER AS JEANETTE STATES, GET AN UNDERSTANDING, GAIN KNOWLEDGE, ASK FOR UNDERSTANDING FOR OURSELVES

WHAT’S YOUR POINT? WE NEED TO PAY ATTENTION!

THIS CONVINCES ME THAT, THERE IS NOTHING MORE HEARTBREAKING THAN TEACHING TO PEOPLE WEEK AFTER WEEK AND TO SEE CERTAIN ONES CONSTANTLY EXPOSED TO TRUTH THAT YOU KNOW COULD CHANGE THEIR LIVES, SET THEM FREE, TRANSFORM THEIR VERY EXISTENCE AND BRING THEM OUT INTO A REALM OF EXPERIENCE THEY HARDLY BELIEVE EXISTED; YOU KNOW THIS, AND YET NOTHING IS MORE HEARTBREAKING THAN TO SEE THEM, WEEK AFTER WEEK, LOSE THE WHOLE EFFECT OF THIS, SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY DO NOT PAY ATTENTION. THIS IS WHY JESUS SAID AGAIN AND AGAIN TO THE PEOPLE OF HIS DAY, "HE WHO HAS EARS TO HEAR, LET HIM HEAR," (MATTHEW 11:15, 13:9, 13:43, ETC…). IT IS NOT TOO OFTEN WE ARE ABLE TO HEAR TRUTHS LIKE THESE, SAINTS,  TRUTHS THAT GO TO THE HEART OF LIFE. BUT HE THAT HAS EARS TO HEAR, LET HIM HEAR.

I AM AWARE THAT, EVEN AS I SPEAK, SOME OF YOUR MINDS MAY BE DRIFTING AWAY TO SOME PROBLEM YOU ARE CONCERNED WITH. YOU ARE HELD CAPTIVE BY SOME TRIVIAL MATTER, AND THESE THINGS THAT STRIKE SO DEEPLY AND CAN MEAN SUCH TRANSFORMING RELEASE, GO RIGHT OVER YOUR HEADS. THERE WILL BE SOME WHO WILL GO OUT FROM HERE AND NOT UNDERSTAND THIS MESSAGE BECAUSE THEY ARE DRIFTING. SO THE WARNING IS:  “LET US PAY ATTENTION,” “THE BEST JUST GOT BETTER”  LEST WE DRIFT.

** I WAS LISTENING TO A PASTOR THIS MORNING AND HE STATED: THAT THERE IS A PLACE IN GOD THAT IS ABOVE THE NORM, FAMILY, I AM EXPERIENCING THIS FOR MYSELF. AND IT IS AWESOME!!!! YOU HAVE TO GET IN THIS PLACE.

***THERE ARE FOUR REASONS WHY THIS MESSAGE IS SO IMPORTANT--

FIRST: IF ANGELS COULD GIVE A WORD LIKE THAT, HOW MUCH MORE THE WORD THAT COMES BY THE SON HAS AFFECT?

SECOND: IT WAS SPOKEN, FIRST OF ALL, BY THE LORD! WHAT JESUS CHRIST HAS TO SAY IS THE MOST AUTHORITATIVE WORD THE WORLD HAS EVER HEARD. THIS MESSAGE DID NOT ORIGINATE WITH THE APOSTLES, IT DID NOT COME TO US BY MEANS OF PROPHETS, IT CAME THROUGH THE LORD HIMSELF; HE SPOKE IT.  1 JOHN 1:1 & 2

THIRD: IT WAS CONFIRMED BY EYE WITNESSES. ANY COURT IN THE LAND WILL ACCEPT EVIDENCE IF IT IS CONFIRMED BY ENOUGH EYE WITNESSES. HERE IS THE EVIDENCE OF CHRISTIANITY CONFIRMED TO US BY NUMEROUS EYE WITNESSES WHO WERE THERE AND WROTE WHAT THEY SAW AND HEARD AND DID. THE FOUR GOSPELS: MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE, JOHN, AND 1 JOHN 1:1&2.

HOW CAN WE EXPLAIN THE GIFTS THAT DEVELOP AMONG CHRISTIAN PEOPLE, THE ABILITY TO DO CERTAIN THINGS, EXCEPT AS WE RECOGNIZE THE SPIRIT OF GOD AT WORK IN OUR MIDST?


HEBREWS 2:10-14 CONTINUES:
10 IN BRINGING MANY SONS AND DAUGHTERS TO GLORY, IT WAS FITTING THAT GOD, FOR WHOM AND THROUGH WHOM EVERYTHING EXISTS, SHOULD MAKE THE PIONEER OF THEIR SALVATION PERFECT THROUGH WHAT HE SUFFERED. 11 BOTH THE ONE WHO MAKES PEOPLE HOLY AND THOSE WHO ARE MADE HOLY ARE OF THE SAME FAMILY. SO JESUS IS NOT ASHAMED TO CALL THEM BROTHERS AND SISTERS.  12 HE SAYS,
“I WILL DECLARE YOUR NAME TO MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS;
    IN THE ASSEMBLY I WILL SING YOUR PRAISES.”
13 AND AGAIN,
“I WILL PUT MY TRUST IN HIM.”
AND AGAIN HE SAYS,
“HERE AM I, AND THE CHILDREN GOD HAS GIVEN ME.”
14 SINCE THE CHILDREN HAVE FLESH AND BLOOD, HE TOO SHARED IN THEIR HUMANITY SO THAT BY HIS DEATH HE MIGHT BREAK THE POWER OF HIM WHO HOLDS THE POWER OF DEATH—THAT IS, THE DEVIL— 15 AND FREE THOSE WHO ALL THEIR LIVES WERE HELD IN SLAVERY BY THEIR FEAR OF DEATH. 16 FOR SURELY IT IS NOT ANGELS HE HELPS, BUT ABRAHAM’S DESCENDANTS. 17 FOR THIS REASON HE HAD TO BE MADE LIKE THEM, FULLY HUMAN IN EVERY WAY, IN ORDER THAT HE MIGHT BECOME A MERCIFUL AND FAITHFUL HIGH PRIEST IN SERVICE TO GOD, AND THAT HE MIGHT MAKE ATONEMENT FOR THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE. 18 BECAUSE HE HIMSELF SUFFERED WHEN HE WAS TEMPTED, HE IS ABLE TO HELP THOSE WHO ARE BEING TEMPTED.

THE HOLY GHOST HAS TESTIFIED ABOUT CHRIST: JOHN 14:3
IN JOHN 14:3 JESUS SAYS, "IF I GO AND PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU, I WILL COME AGAIN AND RECEIVE YOU TO MYSELF, THAT WHERE I AM THERE YOU MAY BE ALSO.
