As we continue our study of this book, we have to look at language.  Well what's the big deal?  If we know how to read that should not be a problem, right?  But we find that the translation from the original language to other or another language can dilute the meaning and remove intention.  Reading any text from the improper context can easily lead to misunderstanding and all that arises with partial revelation.  The focus on this study is to go back to the beginning for understanding.  The Hebrew language is action or verb based and the Greek is noun based.  As we look to our instructions from the Torah as actions that we are to take and not just what we would speak--void of any participation of our own.  Look to the word faith.  Often seen as belief and what you have confidence in.  In the Hebraic understanding we find that it would be better explained as confidence in the principles.  If you have this confidence in the principles that would mean that you would be in action and applying these principles to our lives.  This is a major shift in our lives for our Bibles have spent much time resting and visited infrequently.  When what it should be is studied, to be applied to our lives daily.  There is instruction for all of our lives.  This takes out all of the guess work and experimentation that often yields frustration and confusion.  So why did we not know this until now?  Why wasn't this passed down through the generations?  The scattering of the tribes due to disobedience has allowed the understanding to be hidden until the appointed time that all of His plan would be revealed.  With the return to the original and the application of the principles in our lives, only then can we come to see Him fully and return in relationship with Yahweh.  As He intended from the beginning and that is what this time is for, returning home to the comfort of His presence and peace. 

We have to go back to the beginning from the place that we began.  Fiveamprayer we have gotten off of His path.  Yet when we return we see that His directions are for the directing of our lives.  He is our, Abba and cares for us and does not want us to wander around without instruction!  This is more than a confession, this is our activity in moving in His principles.  Why would we assume that we could figure this all out on our own?  As time has passed on there were other understandings that were erroneously added. When we strip down to the whole truth we find that this is not the harsh law that we may have grew up understanding.   This is the provision and directions for family, marriages, finances, health--every area of our lives!  This is no longer a guess, try and see lifestyle--He gives us the tools, directions, and instruction for His intended outcome. We find that the largest element that has altered our understanding is the disbursement of the tribes of Israel, from disobedience to His commandments.  

The division into two groups, the Southern tribe, known as Judah and the Northern tribe, known as Ephraim were scattered throughout the world.  Judah has returned from their scattering and now we have Ephraim waking up to return to He that is true and walking in the original instruction.  All things are done according to His timing and purpose!  Certainly we would not be left scattered forever.  He is calling us back home but when we return will we see the harsh lawgiver of the loving father directing his children in love?  Keep in mind that our view is effected by our understanding, He is the Yahweh our Elohim and changes not--so what is different?  Us, we have obtained an incorrect view but with closer study and returning scripture to it's origin we find the truth that even Paul spoke about in the last half of the Bible.  We have to go back and look at this again with circumcised heart and ears ready to hear from on high.  It is time to come our of misunderstanding, stubbornness and willfulness to the whole of the truth His unfailing word!  To hear this teaching again click here.

So how do we find Yeshua in the Tanakh?  That is a question that can only be answered when we return the text to it's origins--Hebrew.  Let take a look at Isaiah 12:1-3 1 On that day you will say: “I thank you, Adonai, because, although you were angry at me, your anger is now turned away; and you are comforting me. 2 “See! God is my salvation. I am confident and unafraid; for Yah Adonai is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation!” 3 Then you will joyfully draw water from the springs of salvation.   We can see here which we can see that in the Hebrew 'my salvation' is יְשׁוּעָה yᵉshûwʻâh, yesh-oo'-aw; H3467; something saved, i.e. (abstractly) deliverance; hence, aid, victory, prosperity:—deliverance, health, helping), salvation, save, saving (health), welfare. That is an instance of one about a hundred. When referring to salvation in the Tanakh, usually refers to Yeshua, the Word made flesh. We have to know that those in the latter times were looking forward to the His coming in the flesh this is why we have the scripture that says that in John 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me. Hebrews 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.  When we understand that Yahweh and Yeshua are one, they are the same person we find that in Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1 that no matter how you look at it always adds up to one!  
When we look to the Bible and compare Moses and Yeshua we find many similarities.  Each were born after a 400 year time span, are of Israel heritage, and under a decree to be killed as babies by a foreign power.  They both were shepherds, Moses over sheep and Yeshua tells us that He is the good shepherd.  They both are charged to save or deliver their people out.  Both were teachers and revealed God's name. This gives one of the types and shadows of our Messiah, Yeshua to come.  As we come to study this ourselves that Moses prophecy of a greater prophet than him will arrive-when Yeshua speaks to the teachers of the law that if they had believed the writing of Moses it was what was written of Him! Witness what you will say when returning to the Torah throughout the Bible-
Isaiah 12
1 And in that day you will say: “O Lord, I will praise You;
Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me.
2 Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid;
‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song;He also has become my salvation.’”
3 Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation.
4 And in that day you will say: “Praise the Lord, call upon His name;
Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted.
5 Sing to the Lord, For He has done excellent things;
This is known in all the earth. 6 Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion,
For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!”

Fiveamprayer we must take the limits off--He is revealing the hidden things in His word!  He is revealing Himself in a new way, everyday!  Seek Him, truly!  It is us that have been lost!  Now is the time to find your way back to His good and perfect way!  In Proverbs, we have the tree of life describing the Torah, in 13:7-8. Certainly we should seek out a life giving tree that is a benefit to all of us.  Those of us that are returning to our Hebraic roots we find that these commands are central to living a life designed by Yahweh.  Fiveamprayer, when our lives are led only in man conceived logic or philosophy places the unfailing word of Yahweh at odds to say the least.  This development in various cultures of great thinkers of their time are often highly heralded and esteemed, supports the humanizing of Elohim and the deifying of man.  

The deeper study of the Torah to find out the layers of details in the instruction that Yahweh gave to His creation and image.  It is this study that can cause a closer relationship and better understanding of all that has been made.  This is where the total and isolated study from a strict scientific stance can push away the intimacy of knowing and relying in Adonai. When we have all things in their proper context we can find what His intentions are yet with other measures of process--scientific or mathematical for example.  We can not merely stand and accept scripture on the surface alone.  We must dig and search, pray and listen for His directions and in our discussions we find how we are to view these commandmemts and allow them to guide our lives.  We are not drawing closer to the King of the Universe, even with all of the technological advances!  There won't be a  closer relationship without understanding.  Can it be that the simple tools a Bible,, paper and pen could allow the brilliance of His truth to shine?  Yeshua's charge was to His talmidim/disciples/students to make more of themselves.  Remember that you are returning to learn all of this to teach to others.  With this correct study we will receive the understanding that He comes to give us, it is no longer a mystery.  With increased study we become precise and accurate for we know where we want to go.  That we are skilled to hit the target of what we intend!  To hear this teaching again click here.

The hidden things we are having revealed to us in His word,  He gives us His understanding when Yahweh comes to visit with you.  Much like when you are a child and a grandparent will sit with you and share their wisdom.  Which you can see at that time and then later on upon reflection when you are older.  The real truths will always resonate all throughout our lives.  Take a look back and follow the ancient path, the original way that was intended from the very beginning!  Fiveamprayer we have to know that we are coming into this time and season at what He has appointed!
As we go into this chapter we are looking at our roots, going back to the beginning.  We are on a seek to find the original. The Torah, Yahweh's teaching and instruction was given to us to live our lives.  When we take a closer look at Yeshua/Jesus' teachings to find the intentions behind His words we find that what He lived out on the earth and taught was for our example, the lifestyle we should live.  When we look at people and their actions that gives an accurate picture of what is important to them.  We have in the past wrongly focused on what we say and judge on that alone.  In spite of the actions that are in direct conflict of their words.  Once you have been given the gift of salvation then the next step in the process is the redemptive lifestyle that is lived out according to the Torah, which is the Way, that Yeshua refers to in scripture.   It is these unfailing laws and ordinances that Yahweh set up from the beginning of time that work for all who follow them.  Why would people want to follow the Torah?   The directions of the Creator of the universe gave for our benefit of our lives.  When looked at closer it is found that those who do not have a love for the Torah will often side with anti-Semitic people and idea,s when it rears it ugly head.  This is not a place that you would ever need to be found!  That leads to more and more distance from that which He has set up from the beginning.  The process of the church distancing themselves from all traces of Hebraic/Jewish practices reached it's height from the 11th through the 14th centuries where those who were Jewish or supported them were mistreated, tortured, and murdered.
The early church fathers Marcion who purposed a two deity principle, the harsh God of the old testament and the kind and merciful Jesus of the new testament.  This idea was the foundation of the the trinity.  There is also St Augustine who's work built on the ideas of Marcion.  This misconstruction of the scriptures has over the years built in fear and harsh view of the Torah.  This is to our error and once you go through scripture and truly seek Him with your whole heart, you find how much His instructions are made for your life.  The label of being unbearable or harsh does not hold up to the actual practice when there is knowledge and understanding. Fiveamprayer we are to rest in Him.  Trust in Yahweh's appointed times and seasons!  So why does that matter?  That is something that happened so long ago--can it still be in effect now?  Well let's first define what we are talking about.  Beginning in Genesis, with the creation of the world.  The initial pattern that was given is to work for 6 days and then cease from work on the 7th day.   The sabbath in the last day of the week.  The day set apart to meet in His presence in a congregation.  No where does the Bible give us direction to change His day to any other day!  Now that we looked at the sabbath let's look to what other times Yahweh has given to His people.  There are appointed times that we are to meet with our Elohim to such as Pesach, Shavout and Yom Kippur for example.  We also have the set time every 7 years that was a time for debt and slaves to be released. Leviticus 25 1 And the Lord spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land which I give you, then the land shall keep a sabbath to the Lord. 3 Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather its fruit; 4 but in the seventh year there shall be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath to the Lord. You shall neither sow your field nor prune your vineyard. 5 What grows of its own accord of your harvest you shall not reap, nor gather the grapes of your untended vine, for it is a year of rest for the land. 6 And the sabbath produce of the land shall be food for you: for you, your male and female servants, your hired man, and the stranger who dwells with you, 7 for your livestock and the beasts that are in your land—all its produce shall be for food.  This is the shemittah.  For those who owed money to another was to be forgiven in the shemittah.  Those who were sold into slavery were now to be released.  The land was not to be worked, it was to rest and also observe the shemittah.  This was done in ancient times yet His word does not change--we are still to uphold what He has spoken.  The years of Israel's exile was due to not keeping the shemittah--the land resting and pagan worship.   That is serious enough to know that He means business about His word!!  This time of rest and releasing of debt would prevent us from focusing so much on the physical attainment.  This was also so the the children of Israel were not in slavery, (that is what He delivered them out of Egypt so) He could not all them to be lifetime slaves!  In observing the shemittah year the land was no longer owned by anyone but all could eat freely of what the land provided on it's own.    They were provided for but were not to collect and store up food from the field.  In this year the widow, orphan, strangers were able to freely eat of the fields.    Fiveamprayer we are being given independence from this world to depend on Yahweh and His instructions!  The ways of the world are not our ways and as we truly trust and stand on His word, at His appointed time and season--we are expecting to see scripture come to life before our eyes!  This is not a guess or a conjecture of a desire but according to His word.  That we can see in the pattern throughout the scriptures!  Yahweh wants us to look to Him in all things. When we feel that we can handle it and choose not to include Him is to our detriment.  He created it all and allows or permits at His design!  In building our trust in Him will we pay attention to the bank statements over His decree?  Are we more focused on the news reports or on the or the commandment of provision in our obedience?  Can the likeness and image know better than the Original who hand crafted us His image?  To hear this again click here.

We are walking in today:  The Law In The New Testament

This journey into Torah has been such an eye, mind and heart opener!  With the more that we study we find what helped in the division of Yeshua from the teaching and instructions of the Most High, the Torah.  Yes we do have from Paul's writings for so much information but without the Hebraic understanding that his writings are letters of rebuke and correction--can not be taken at surface value!  We don't have the initial questions that prompted his responses!  The first thing we have to determine is scripture agrees with scripture!  His word stands and He is not double-minded.  All that He has said will match what He has spoken and will speak later.  The division of the Bible into two sections makes for difficult understanding without the proper context of the writers and the culture of the audience.  With these corrections we can see that Yahweh who gave the law to Moses at Mt. Sinai is the same as Yeshua who fully explained and lived out those laws with His disciples.  If there was anything that Yeshua wanted to change in the law, He had ample opportunities in the public and with the teachers of the law to omit or change,  the Torah.  However we have Him saying the He is not abolishing the law.  The incorrect interpretation of the law of Moses or Torah was to abolish it--Yahweh's word can never be done away with by mere men!  Yes many of us grew up in churches who recieved the same incorrect understanding that the law is over but that does not make it true.  There is no scripture that says that the law of Moses is over.  There has to be laws, directions, policy or rules for the society, land or kingdom.  How could a small town operate if there were not standards of behavior for so many people living together?  Who would know when a boundaries were crossed?  Which actions would require a punishment to deter others from the same behavior?  This is what the Torah is--proper behavior and actions for the people in the community, in families and marriages.  For those who have never been to visit the King of kings there is the proper approach for that as well.  We know that Yahweh is the great and mighty one.  Our Father, our King, our Buckler and Shield, the Rock of Ages but what would be the proper way to come before Him?  Are there specific times that He expects to see you?  Such as the His feast days and the Sabbath?  Sure you can call your grandma whenever but to remember her birthday or anniversary means a lot to her, right?  Well we have days the He has given us as rehearsals and days of remembrance for what He has done for His people.  A time to remember the mightiness of His hand the delivered you out!  Days of celebration for the goodness of the Almighty!  But God is love right?  So it doesn't matter when we worship or what days are set apart.  Well lets look to the word...Genesis 2  (KJV) 1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.  So in the first chapter of Genesis we have the world created in 6 days and then we have the seventh day set apart and explained in the next chapter.  Why is this day sanctified and set apart?  This is the plan the He set forth from the beginning for us to follow.  Are there any other days set apart as by Yahweh in His word?  There are the feast days, Pesach or Passover for example.  There is no place in His word you find that Sunday is the day that Yahweh is looking for you to meet Him.  That change of the day was a man determined convention.  There were men who meet and decided and determined that they would change the day and add in pagan holidays and cease from the feast days of the Lord Almighty.  Fiveamprayer what we are saying, have been saying is that if you can not find what you are doing in the Bible--don't walk in it!  There is the practices of the pagans that He warns Israel about and then the instructions on what He wants His set apart, chosen people to do!  That is your task to follow in the word that He has given for His set apart, holy nation to follow!  All of His word agrees--find the original scripture that the New Testament is referring to in the Torah--Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.  Yahweh is looking at us like a loving father who is pleased that his child is striving to do better, to walk in what they have been taught.  He will bridge the gap where we fall short.  The real questions what is your intention?  What desire is in your heart?  This was never a pick and chose type of situation--the trail mix Bible practices have gotten us in a terrible state!  Now we will have our eyes opened up to see His word clear and with the Ruach HaKadosh will lead us back to the beginning, the original, the authentic.  Go back Fiveamprayer, and get the understanding that was altered with the Greek scenery and caused us to run down the path of error.  Thank You Yahweh for returning us to Your good and right way.  The path that we can follow all throughout scripture for the benefit of our lives and families!  All praises to our Avinu Malkineu!  To listen to this message again click here.

Fiveamprayer, we have to make a distinction, Yahweh has.  From the very beginning, He separated the light from the darkness, the night from the day, as Elohim continues in the ordering of creation there are separations and boundaries placed.  We are also called to come out of the pagan practices.  We too are to leave behind all that we knew like Abraham at Adonai's instruction to leave for a land that He will show us.  We have to keep His way and word before us.  The distractions of this world arise to attempt to put us off of the path that He set before us from the beginning.  There is no more time left to keep running with the crowd.  When will you stand up and stand out for righteousness?  When will you hold up the unaltered word of Yahweh?  Nevermind if it is popular!!!  Forget if it is not what everyone agrees to!!!  Put off all of the approval of man--you are seeking and aspiring for the highest of the high, the way that was set even before the beginning began--the Way, the Truth and the Life!  Yet it is not popular and what has popularity gotten you--a nice circle of friends that are suffering in silence but as long as we are all the same?  Don't let anyone draw you back in from being set apart.  The false fear of isolation is not really a problem when you consider what you are being separated from!  When you are mining for gold in the rocks and dirt that is being washed in the water, the gold is separated.  When digging for gemstones it is the precious that is separated from the common rocks.  Don't you know that you are His special treasure, am segulah?  Certainly He can see that you are not like the others and must be separated.  Come out from those that do not strive to live according to His word.  Those who only desire to give lip service--believing that the all-seeing, all-knowing, all-powerful Yahweh can't see what they do in the dark?  A set apart people have a purpose, a task, a plan and He will see all that He purposes will be accomplished!  The coming out from among them includes unwise associations.  Fiveamprayer, you better know who is in your circle!!  They could be heading a different direction than you are--do not allow others to sidetrack you!  What is your task?  Where has He directed you to go?  Whether with few or many will you go?  Remember the remnant is just that, that was separated from the whole for a different purpose--all by His plan.  Get out of your emotions and get into living your life according to His word!  When you begin, you will make mistakes like we all do.  The Holy Spirit, the Ruach HaKodesh will uphold you where you fall short.  Each time you follow a principle, then the next time you do-- you see the benefits in your life and those around you.  Do not seek to be caught in the middle of those that you were separated from--yes it is familiar but the time has shifted and you don't want to miss His appointed time for the task given you!  Hold fast to His word, it never fails and is even upheld over His name!  No more murmuring in agreement with the crowd, what does Almighty God have to say about it?  Yep, that is where you are to stand and remain as you continue in this life which includes His peace, rest, love and joy.  Who told you that standing on Adonai's side is always hard work?  In obedience is where you find the refreshing and restoration that you have been seeking.  Only obedience gets the blessing--living on mercy is find until you run in to the forbidding of Yahweh.  Listen up, Fiveamprayer, your Abba, Avinu Malkeinu is calling you to return to Him.  Why return?  Well you were there before but were enticed away from Him.  Don't you think that it is time to stop running, hiding and come on home?  To hear this teaching again click here.
