THE ORIGINAL KINGDOM CONCEPT: COLONIZATION OF THE EARTH

Exodus Chapter 20

Today we are walking in: The Original Kingdom Concept: Colonization of The Earth!!!

Today we look to the word PURPOSE- H559 amar--(Qal) to say, to answer, to say in one's heart, to think, to command, to promise, to intend, purpose

The Torah testifies.........……

*******

The prophets proclaim..................

Isaiah 1:11

To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith H559 the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

The writings bear witness............

1 Kings 5:5

And, behold, I purpose H559 to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying, H559 Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name.

From our discussions thus far, two things at least should be perfectly clear at this point. First, every person on earth, without exception, is seeking a kingdom. Consciously or unconsciously, every human activity and endeavor is directed in one way or another toward this pursuit. And second, as we have just seen, the kingdom concept of government, the original and first governmental concept, is far superior to any governmental system devised by man. The caveat, of course, is that such a kingdom be ruled by a righteous and benevolent king. Otherwise, a kingdom will prove to be no better than any other system.

The inherent superiority of a kingdom over other systems of government is an especially difficult concept for many people in the west. As I stated earlier, few westerners have ever lived under a kingdom and thus know little or nothing of how one operates. This difficulty is even more acute for citizens of the United States whose nation, after all, was established in rebellion against a kingdom.

Nevertheless, a kingdom ruled by a sovereign, righteous, and benevolent king remains the best system of government humanity could ever hope for. The reason is simple: The kingdom concept is of heavenly, not earthly, origin. Its appearance on earth is due to another concept that originated in heaven the concept of colonization.

Simply stated, colonization is Heaven’s system for earthly influence.

SEEING THE BIG PICTURE

In order to understand this, it is important to look at the big picture.

We humans, divided as we are by religion, ethnicity, geography, national identity, and differing governmental systems and economies, have trouble grasping the overall picture that we are one global village. Religious and cultural differences and territorial loy- alties often prevent us from seeing how much we truly have in com- mon with one another. At heart, we all share the same fears, hopes, dreams, and longings. We all share a common desire to be able to control the circumstances of our lives. Consciously or not, we all are searching for a kingdom in which all are equal, enjoying the same rights, benefits, liberty, security, health, and abundance—lives with meaning and purpose and fulfilled potential.

In the midst of our myopic pursuit of self-advancement, we fail to recognize that such a kingdom is available for the having. But we will never see it until we step back to take in the big picture.

When studying art, one of the fundamental concepts is always to see the end first and then work your way back. In other words, a good artist sees the finished product in his or her mind before beginning to paint or sculpt or draw. That is what it means to get the big picture—to see the end from the beginning and keep that end clearly in view throughout the creative process. Only then can the artist ensure that the finished product conforms to his or her original vision or design.

A casual observer of any given phase of the process often cannot make any sense out of it because he or she lacks the big picture of the finished product that is in the mind of the artist. A few brush strokes on a canvas may mean nothing to someone watching the painter, but a good artist will know exactly what he is doing. He will know exactly where he is going and how to get there because he already sees the end result in his mind. He sees the big picture. That is why you should never judge an artist while he is working. It is only in the finished product where his full vision and intent can be seen.

Whether you are painting a picture, carving a sculpture, or building a house, it is critical to keep the big picture—the finished product—clearly in view. Otherwise, your original dream or vision will never be realized, and you will end up with something quite dif- ferent from what you intended.

The biggest problem in our world today, including the religious world, is that we are so preoccupied with the phases that we cannot see the big picture. We are so caught up with our own little part— and with fighting and arguing with everybody else over their little part—that we have lost sight of our purpose. The most important thing in life is the big picture. But all we have are snapshots. Somewhere along the way humanity lost the big picture of our purpose, and all we were left with were tiny snapshots that provide only a narrow and very misleading impression of the whole. Long ago we lost the end of our existence. Now all we have to work with are disconnected means—futile pursuits with no significance.

Purpose defines the big picture. In other words, the big picture is the original purpose or intent of the artist or builder—the desired end result. What was The Most High Yah’s purpose as the Artist who created humanity? What was the end result He desired? As Designer of the human race, what was The Most High Yah’s original intent? This is a critical issue for us because without purpose, human life has no meaning or sig- nificance. And that is exactly what the philosophers of our day are saying: Human life has no purpose or significance, so each of us must create or derive meaning for our lives wherever we can find it.

We have lost the big picture—The Most High Yah’s original intent for mankind— and without it our lives are nothing more than disjointed phases that make no sense.

If our lives are to have meaning, we must recover the big picture of The Most High Yah’s original intent for us. In the beginning, The Most High Yah undertook a wonderful building project called the human race. Why? The Most High Yah’s original purpose in creating mankind—His big picture—was to extend His invisible rulership to the visible world. He wanted to extend His heavenly country to another territory. His desire, then, was to establish on earth a colony of Heaven.

THE MOST HIGH YAH’S BIG PICTURE

Colonization as a concept was not invented by man. It is not the product of any human kingdom or culture. Colonization originated in the mind of The Most High Yah. It was His idea. The Most High Yah’s original purpose was to establish a manifestation of His heavenly Kingdom on earth without coming to earth Himself.

A colonizing authority, such as a king, does not have to be present physically for colonization to occur. The mere presence of the influence of that authority is sufficient. As long as The Most High Yah could extend His kingly governing authority over the earth through delegated representatives, His influence would hold sway here without the necessity of His physical presence.

The Most High Yah’s original intent was to extend His heavenly government over the earth, and His plan for accomplishing this was to establish a colony of heaven on the earth. This was The Most High Yah’s big picture. The King of Heaven has a big agenda, bigger than national or international affairs. His is an inter-realm agenda. The Most High Yah deals with inter- realm affairs, the relationship between the invisible realm of Heaven and the visible realm of earth. His plan was to connect these two through colonization. However, The Most High Yah was not content merely to establish His influence on the earth; He wanted to take some citizens out of heaven and put them on earth to establish the colony.

How did He accomplish this? Let’s examine some statements from the Bible, which is the constitution of the Kingdom of Heaven. Like any other constitution, the Bible lays out the laws, principles, and characteristics that define The Most High Yah’s Kingdom. Consider first the opening words of this constitution—its “preamble”:

In the beginning The Most High Yah created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1).

This opening statement establishes The Most High Yah’s universal kingship by divine right of creation with absolute authority to do whatever He pleases. A little further down we find earth’s “colonial charter”:

Then The Most High Yah said, “Let Us make man in Our image, in Our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So The Most High Yah created man in His own image, in the image of The Most High Yah He created him; male and female He created them. The Most High Yah blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground” (Genesis 1:26-28).

With these words The Most High Yah, the King and Lord of Heaven, declared His colonial intent. This colonial charter delineated the purpose and defined the parameters of the colony. It also designated the persons who received responsibility for carrying out the King’s desire.

Notice that this statement says nothing about religion. This charter is not a religious declaration; it is a government document that defines governmental intent and establishes governmental authority. So the King, in this one statement, declares His big picture—to create some beings just like Himself, place them on the earth, and let them rule it for Him as vice-regents of His heavenly government. This was His plan and His purpose for creating man. Because the purposes of The Most High Yah are unchanging, this is still His purpose and plan today.

HEAVEN’S CROWN LAND

The Most High Yah created the earth as a place over which to extend His influence, but He intended to do it through mankind, not Himself. He designed man to be a fit colonizer of the physical world He wanted to colonize. That is why we humans are so well suited physically for life in this world. The Bible says that The Most High Yah created man “from the dust of the ground” (see Gen. 2:7). Scientific evidence confirms this. Our bodies are made of the same stuff as the earth. Before The Most High Yah created us, He fashioned a physical world that would be a perfect environment for us to fulfill our purpose and destiny. Then He formed our physical bodies from the same material. Man is a triune being just like his Creator. We reflect His image even in our composition. Man is a spirit being after the nature and essence of his source, Father The Most High Yah; he lives in a body, which is his earth suit that allows him to relate to the physical environment; and he possesses a soul, which is his intellect, will, and emotional faculties. We are suited for the earth as perfectly as The Most High Yah is suited for Heaven.

As we discussed earlier, the foundation and qualification for kingship is rightful ownership of land. In a kingdom, the land is the personal property of the king, and it is this ownership right that designates him as lord. In a kingdom, when referring to the physical land, the territory is called “crown land.” This implies the land is property of “the crown,” referring to the king himself. By creative right, the earth is heaven’s “crown land.” In a kingdom, all the land within the kingdom belongs to the king. Every square foot of territory is his personal property—his “king-domain.” In a true kingdom, therefore, there is no such thing as private property owned by the citizens; the king owns all.

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for He founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters (Psalm 24:1-2).

Because The Most High Yah owns the earth, He can do with it however He pleases. And it pleased Him to give it to man. Again, in the words of the ancient poet:

The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth He has given to man (Psalm 115:16).

Don’t make the mistake of equating this with ownership. Crown land given to someone by the king remains crown land. At any time the king can take it back and give it to someone else. That is the king’s prerogative. So when The Most High Yah “gave” the earth to man, He did not relinquish ownership. We possess the earth as a trust, as stewards, as “kings” under the High King of Heaven. The King gave us dominion over the earth, not as owners but as vassal-kings to extend His heavenly government to the earthly realm. He gave us rulership, not ownership. We have the privilege to rule the earth, and with that privilege also comes the responsibility of wise and righteous management. And we are accountable to the King for how we manage our domain.

It is also on this prerogative of Kingship and Lordship that The Most High Yah could, without the permission of its current inhabitants, promise Abraham the land of Canaan as a birthright.

Today we see this understanding of crown land applied in the nation of Israel. The ancient Hebrew law handed down through Moses stipulated that no property sales in Israel were permanent because the land belonged to The Most High Yah:

The land must not be sold permanently, because the land is Mine and you are but aliens and My tenants. Throughout the country that you hold as a possession, you must provide for the redemption of the land (Leviticus 25:23-24).

Israelites were free to occupy their own plot of land, develop it, cultivate it, live off of it, and even pass it on to their heirs. They were not to sell it, however, especially to non-Israelites. If financial circumstances necessitated selling the property to a fellow Israelite, the law made provision for the land to be returned. Every 50 years Israel celebrated a Year of Jubilee, during which time any land that had changed hands since the previous jubilee year automatically reverted to the original possessor.

In Israel today, a similar principle is in effect. When young couples in Israel marry, the Israeli government provides or assists them with their first house. Why? Because there is no private ownership of property in Israel. Officially, the land belongs to The Most High Yah.

The principle here is that in a kingdom, living on and using the land is a privilege, not a right.

This practice reflects a kingdom consciousness that we all need to cultivate. It is critical for our understanding of the Kingdom and how it works that we recognize that the whole earth is Heaven’s crown land and that we are merely “aliens” and stewards of The Most High Yah’s property.

THE KINGDOM OF THE MOST HIGH YAH VERSUS THE GOVERNMENTS OF MAN

Exodus chapter 20

Today we are walking in: The Kingdom of The Most High Yah VS. The Governments of Man

Today we look to the word-KINGS- H4428 melek-- king, royal.

The Torah testifies.........……

Deuteronomy 3:21

And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto these two kings: H4428 so shall the LORD do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.

The prophets proclaim..................

Isaiah 49:7

Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings H4428 shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

The writings bear witness............

Joshua 10:24

And it came to pass, when they brought out those kings H4428 unto Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war which went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. H4428 And they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of them.

Plato knew that eventually the rule of the people would deteriorate into the rule of the state. I predict with great sadness that even democracy, with all of its promises and aspirations for a good, civil, and just society, will not survive as a human government. When your best is not good enough, the only alternative is to look elsewhere for something better. There is a better alternative…and that is the heart of this teaching.

THE RETURN OF THE KING AND HIS KINGDOM

What is this alternative? It is to return to the original governing concept of The Most High Yah the Creator, which is the kingdom concept. Of course, people who have lived in the context of a democracy or a republic all their lives usually find it not only difficult but almost impossible to understand or accept easily this concept of a kingdom. Compounding the problem is the historical educational process that paints the concept of kingdoms in a negative light due to experiences with corrupt kings and kingdoms in the past.

As a matter of fact, to many people, in their limited understanding, a kingdom is simply a dictatorship in the hands of a family. If this is true, then the message of Yahashua Hamachiach 2,000 years ago was the promotion and establishment of a dictatorship with Himself as the dictator. He called Himself a “King” and said He came to bring back to earth a “Kingdom.” According to this message, which was the only one He preached, the ultimate key to successful human earthly government is the restoration of a King and a Kingdom on earth, albeit a righteous, benevolent and good King. There is only One who can fit that role. It is the One who created us and designed each one of us with a unique purpose. We must bring back the King. This King cares for His citizens. His rule is a righteous rule.

It is this ideal, original kingdom that the heart of all humanity seeks. All of mankind throughout history, and still today, is searching desperately to find that perfect kingdom. Man has tried every imaginable way to create a flawless government. What he has failed to understand is that the original Kingdom, established by the King, is what he has been searching for all along. The kingdoms of this world must accept the Kingdom of the Lord and of His Hamachiach. The original and ideal King and Kingdom are superior to all other forms of government. This teaching will prove that point as we continue our journey to understand this majestic concept.

Even within the Church we argue over government, not knowing that there is only one government. We must come to understand the superiority of a kingdom over all other forms of government.

The world needs a benevolent King. We have that King; we just don’t recognize Him. I said earlier that one qualification of a legitimate king is ownership of land, which automatically makes him a lord. The Most High Yah, who has revealed Himself in Yahashua Hamachiach, is the ultimate Lord and owner of all things. Who makes The Most High Yah to be King and Lord? Nobody! He is King and Lord by right of creation. Creative rights give Him incontestable ownership rights to earth and the universe. He created all things and that automatically makes Him Lord of all. We don’t give The Most High Yah the earth. He doesn’t need us to make Him King. We can only acknowledge Him as King. His original purpose and plan was to extend His invisible Kingdom of Heaven to earth through His offspring in His image—mankind—and to rule through man as a heavenly agency. In essence, with The Most High Yah’s Kingdom on earth, His territory, through all mankind, we would be rulers under the Ruler.

Once we are under the rule of this gracious, merciful, benevolent, loving, caring King, He takes personal responsibility for us, not as servants or serfs, but as family and royal children. This care of the citizens by the king is a concept called “kingdom welfare” and describes the king’s personal commitment to look after the needs and wants of his citizens within his land. Therefore, the word welfare is a concept that can only be understood fully in the context of a kingdom. Whenever we submit to a king and his kingdom, we come under His welfare. Welfare is not a word that can be used in a democracy.

For many, the very word welfare paints negative pictures in their minds, and they believe it to be a societal curse. In the context of a kingdom, however, welfare is a beautiful word and describes something to be highly desired. It is a word that is used to express a king’s commitment to his citizenry. This is why in all true kingdoms the concept of prosperity and national social services is called “common wealth.” Again, this concept can only be understood within the concept of a kingdom. In any of the other forms of government, no regime or person has ever been successful in effectively caring for “all” of the citizens.

As a matter of fact, even under the best form of human government, democracy, there is the plight of the rich versus the poor, the have’s compared to the have not’s, the extreme and unequal distribution of wealth, discrimination, racism, divisions, social classifications, and ethnic segregation. History continually fails to show us a government that manifests the equality, harmony, stability, and community that man has desired and sought after from the day of the fall of Adam. Even our best is defective. No government has been able to take care of its people equally. In a true ideal kingdom, however, all the citizens’ welfare is the personal responsibility of the king. This is why the original kingdom concept, as in the Kingdom of The Most High Yah taught by Yahashua Hamachiach, is superior to all other governments.

Therefore, in a kingdom, the concept of “commonwealth” is also very important, and the word correctly describes the nature of the relationship the king has with his citizens and subjects. The wealth in a kingdom is common. Therefore, in a true ideal kingdom there is no discrimination or distinction between the rich and the poor, for in such a kingdom all citizens have equal access to kingdom wealth and resources provided by the benevolent king. In essence, the King’s interest is the welfare of the Kingdom and everything in it.

If none of the human systems of government are adequate, how then do we adopt The Most High Yah’s original kingdom concept into our world? It begins by understanding the kingdom concept of colonization

PRINCIPLES

1. Ninety percent of all the national and international problems facing our world today are the result either of government or religion.

2. The need for government and order is inherent in the human spirit and is a manifestation of a divine mandate given to mankind by the Creator.

3. Man’s need for some formal government structure is an outgrowth of his need for social order and relationship management.

4. The mandate of the Creator for mankind was rulership and dominion.

5. Some governments are better than others, but all are inferior to The Most High Yah’s government—the Kingdom of Heaven.

6. Feudalism as a concept of governing was a derivative of the original government established in the Garden of Eden under the first man, Adam, who himself was made the landlord of the earth.

7. Feudalism is an illustration of the danger of putting the authority that belongs to the King of Heaven into the hands of ungodly and unrighteous human kings and lords.

8. A dictatorship is a government that concentrates its power and authority in the hands of one individual who wields absolute authority unrestricted by laws, constitution, or any other social/political factor.

9. Communism is man’s attempt to control land and people by the exercise of dictatorship. The Kingdom of The Most High Yah Versus the Government of Man

10. Communism is an attempt to establish a kingdom without righteousness.

11. Socialism substitutes the state for the king and attempts to control society for the benefit of society.

12. Democracy is the best form of civil government as we know it because of its basic tenets and because of the checks and balances of the system.

13. One major defect of democracy is its fundamental principle of “majority rule,” which even though it gives power to the majority of the people, places morality, values, and the standards for law at the mercy of the majority, thus legitimizing the majority’s values, desires, beliefs, aspirations, and preferences.

14. Our best alternative is to return to the original governing concept of The Most High Yah the Creator, which is the kingdom concept.

The Kingdom Is At Hand!!!

Exodus Chapter 20

Today we are walking in: The Kingdom Is At Hand!!!

Today we look to the word-KINGDOM- H4467- mamlâkâh, dominion, (abstractly) the estate (rule) or (concretely) the country (realm):—kingdom, king's, reign, royal

The Torah testifies.........……

Exodus 19:6

And ye shall be unto me a kingdom H4467 of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

 The prophets proclaim..................

1 Samuel 10:18

And said unto the children of Israel, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, H4467 and of them that oppressed you:

The writings bear witness............

1 Kings 11:13

Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; H4467 but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.

INTRODUCTION- KINGDOM PRINCIPLES PREPARING FOR KINGDOM EXPERIENCE AND EXPANSION

The greatest threat to civil society is mankind. Every day the flood of images on our television screens tells the sad story. Blood, death, diplomacy, conflict, hatred, fear, poverty, starvation, rape, genocide, refugees and human migration, natural disasters, daily bombings, economic uncertainty, immigration, corporate corruption, moral decay, sexual revolution, and clash of counter cultures—all of these testify to the undeniable fact that we are our own worst enemy.
All of our universities, cyber-space technology, blackberries, think tanks, G-8 meetings, fiscal and immigration policies, medical advancements, social experiments, religious conferences, peace marches, and declarations of cease-fire and peace on earth all seem to collapse at the mercy of our own self-imposed destructive spirit. We build buildings and then bomb them; we make weapons and then use them on ourselves; we invent medicines that heal and then withhold them from the sick; we improve the World Wide Web to enhance global communication and then use it to destroy the moral fiber of our children. We are our own greatest enemy.

THE SOURCE OF RELIGION

All of this is compounded by our establishment of sophisticated religions into which we retreat to escape the social chaos we have created. Religion is the most powerful force on earth. Despite the claims of many to the contrary, everyone on earth is religious. Religion is defined as the adherence to a set of beliefs that regulate the moral, social, and ritualistic behavior of the individual. This definition would include the so-called atheist, secularist, communist, socialist, humanist or agnostic, for they all adhere to a belief system of some kind, even if it is the belief that there is no providential component in creation or life as we know it, or a belief in the power of the human as the supreme measure of truth and right.
Virtually every major problem in history and in our contemporary world can be traced to some religious foundation. Religion has motivated the massacre of millions over the years in such horrific events as the Crusades, the Inquisition, and wars related to the Protestant Reformation and the Catholic Counterreformation. Slavery, ethnic cleansing, apartheid, segregation, racial discrimination, and other oppressive practices all have been justified by some religious code or system.
Even this new millennium commenced with definitive acts of religious terrorism. The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 sent shock waves through the global nervous system of mankind and continues today to fuel the fires of conflict, hatred, fear, and murder throughout the world. How ironic it is that religion, the very thing that by its nature is supposed to provide the solution to mankind’s problems and provide hope and faith for life, has itself created more problems throughout history than it has solved.
Perhaps this is one reason so many millions have turned away from all forms of institutionalized religions and opted to embrace such philosophies as humanism, communism, and agnosticism. Some have simply given up and lost all hope in humanity. I myself have struggled long to come to grips with this dichotomy of human nature—our desire to worship and serve some deity that we claim to be benevolent and loving, while at the same time demonstrating a destructive zeal motivated by our “allegiance” to this same deity. Along the way I too lost faith in the concept of religion and in a real sense had to seek for something beyond and superior to these defective practices created by man.
Yet religion is a natural phenomenon that exists in some form in every human culture—and always has. Primitive and modern human societies alike manifest religious rituals that define their culture and communal life. This raises the natural question: What is the source of religion, and why is it such a natural, inherent characteristic of the human spirit?
I have come to the conclusion that religion is the result of an inherent hunger in the human spirit that man cannot define yet must seek to satisfy. This indefinable hunger, arising from a vacuum created by the loss of something man used to possess, drives him to pursue answers beyond his own realm. Generations of humans have attempted to satisfy this hunger through superstitions, sophisticated rituals, customs, and practices that often seem to defy human logic and reason. Most human religious activities attempt to deal with the questions of mankind’s existence and purpose as well as life after death and the unknown spiritual world. Many of these religions are attractive because they promise their adherents power to control the circumstances of their daily lives. Whether or not they can deliver on this promise is another matter.

The purpose of this teaching is to help you address these questions and to present to you a proposition that goes beyond religion straight to the heart of mankind’s greatest need and offers a solution to this universal human search. I am convinced that every person on earth ultimately is searching for two things in life: power and purpose. All of us look for meaning for our existence and the power to control our lives and our circumstances; power to determine the future and predict the unknown; power over death and life. We seek this purpose and power in many ways: religion, politics, money, fame, notoriety, recognition, influence. Our pursuit of purpose and power is the primary source and motivation for the development of religion.

ALL RELIGIONS ARE THE SAME

All religions are the same in the sense that they attempt to answer the questions of power and meaning. They all promise power to control life and circumstances and to explain life and death. They all claim to have the truth. They all claim superiority over each other. They all compare and compete with each other. They all demand adherence to their particular belief system while denying the others. They all are motivated by contention and usually thrive in an isolated culture that excludes other segments of humanity. In fact, all religions seem to glory in a spirit of segregation and separatism. Rather than uniting humanity with common power and knowledge of purpose, religion has proven itself instead to be the great divider of mankind.

THE NONRELIGIOUS ANSWER

This is not a religious teaching but a teaching about a concept that was introduced at the beginning of the creation of man. That concept is the source of the human search, and its absence is the reason why man “invented” religion. Before I can attempt to discuss this dynamic concept, it is necessary to refer to the document where it was first introduced. In the “book of beginnings,” the first book of Moses, the great Hebrew writer and freedom fighter, these words explain the reason for mankind’s search for purpose and power:
Then The Most High Yah said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth” (Genesis 1:26 NKJV, emphasis added).
This statement documents the most important declaration ever made regarding mankind. It declares the motivation, nature, purpose, and mandate behind mankind’s creation. As this statement makes clear, dominion is the purpose for man’s creation and existence. The word “dominion” here translates the Hebrew word mamlakah, which can also be translated as “kingdom,” “sovereign rule,” or “royal power.” In essence, mankind was created to have rulership over the earth.
The first thing man was given by his Creator was a “kingdom.” This initial assignment and mandate of “kingdom” is the Creator’s primary purpose and motivation for His human creatures. Dominion sets the framework for all the desires, passions, and activities of mankind and is the key to his fulfillment and personal and corporate peace. It is also the foundation and source of his need to control and rule his environment and circumstances. It is this kingdom mandate that validates man’s desire for power. Power is natural to the human spirit.

THE LOSS OF POWER

Mankind’s failure through disobedience to his Creator resulted in the loss of his dominion over the earth. He lost his kingdom mandate, his gift of divine power. In short, man lost his kingdom. It is important to note here that when man fell from grace, he lost a kingdom, not a religion. He lost dominion over the earth; he did not lose Heaven. Therefore, mankind’s search is not for a religion or for Heaven, but for his kingdom.
This is why religion can never satisfy the deep hunger in the heart of man. Religion is itself the search. No religion can substitute for the kingdom or fill the vacuum in man’s soul. The hunger of the human heart is for the lost kingdom.

THE MESSAGE OF THE BIBLE

A careful and honest look at the biblical Script will reveal that the fundamental message of this greatly misunderstood Book is about a King and a Kingdom. The Bible is not primarily about a religion or rituals, but about the establishment of a kingdom rulership on this planet from the heavenly realm. It is about a divine project of governing earth from Heaven through mankind. In practical terms, the Bible is about a royal family mandated to colonize earth from Heaven.
This kingdom assignment is the priority of The Most High Yah the Creator and the object of mankind’s inherent pursuit.

MISUNDERSTANDING YAHASHUA

I believe no one who has ever lived has been misunderstood more than the young teacher who happened to be born, not by preference but by promise, through the line of the Old Testament Hebrew patriarch Abraham—Yahashua the Christ. Misunderstanding Yahashua has caused Muslims to reject Him, Hindus to suspect Him, Buddhists to ignore Him, atheists to hate Him, and agnostics to deny Him. But it just may be those who claim to represent Him the most—Christians—who have in fact misunderstood and, therefore, misrepresented Him the most.

If my last statement sounds outlandish and way off the mark to you, let me encourage you to read the rest of this book before closing your mind to this possibility. In my own life I have had to come to grips with my own personal defects related to my understanding of Yahashua and His message. This teaching will demonstrate beyond doubt that Yahashua’ message, assignment, passion, and purpose were not to establish a religion of rituals and rules but rather to reintroduce a kingdom. Everything Yahashua said and did—His prayers, teachings, healings, and miracles—was focused on a kingdom, not a religion. Yahashua was preoccupied with the Kingdom; it was His top priority, His heavenly mandate.
Those to whom He came first, the Jews, misunderstood Yahashua and saw Him as a rebel, a misfit, and a fanatic. In their minds He was, at best, a misguided rabbinical teacher spreading heresies that contaminated the teachings and laws of Moses and Judaism. In truth, they had reduced the message of Moses to a sophisticated religion where strict observance of the laws became more important than the original purpose for those laws. And they expected Yahashua to do the same. The original intent of The Most High Yah’s mandate to Moses was not to establish a religion but a nation of people who would love, serve, and honor The Most High Yah—a “royal priesthood [and] a holy nation” (see 1 Pet. 2:9).
The Muslim misunderstands Him as simply another in a line of prophets who was a great teacher, a good man, and a great prophet, but who fell short and failed to deliver the finished work of redemption to mankind.
The Hindu misunderstands Him as a good teacher, a good man, and just another deity to add to their list of The Most High Yahs to provide a service in their need for spiritual security.
The atheist, agnostic, and humanist see him as a mere man, an historical figure, whom a group of misguided men transformed into a The Most High Yah and an object of worship. They acknowledge that Yahashua existed but deny any of His miracles as well as His claim to divinity.

The media, scientists, and secularists see Him as fair game for investigation and criticism. They acknowledge Him as an interesting subject for arguments, theories, discussion, and debates while ignoring His divine claims and questioning His validity, integrity, and sometimes, His very existence.
Christians have misunderstood Him as the founder of a religion and have transformed His teachings and His methods into customs and His activities into rituals. Many even have reduced His message to nothing more than an escapist plan for getting to heaven and His promises as a mere fire insurance policy for escaping the pains of a tormenting hell.
And yet a simple study and review of His message and priority reveals that Yahashua had only one message, one mandate, and one mission—the return of the Kingdom of Heaven to earth. From the very beginning, Yahashua made it clear that the principal need of the human race, and the only solution to mankind’s dilemma, was the Kingdom of Heaven. His first public statements reveal this Kingdom priority:
From that time on Yahashua began to preach, “teshuvah (to turn), for the kingdom of heaven is near” (Matthew 4:17).
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:3).
Yahashua’ first announcement was the arrival of the Kingdom of Heaven. His solution to the malnourished and bankrupt human spirit was not a religion but the Kingdom of Heaven. In other words, if you are spiritually poor, only the Kingdom will satisfy and fulfill your hunger. The Kingdom is The Most High Yah’s priority and must become our priority if we are to overcome the confusion of religions and the threat of self-destruction.

RELIGION VERSUS KINGDOM

The power of religion lies in its ability to serve as a substitute for the Kingdom and thus hinder mankind from pursuing the genuine answer to his dilemma. My study of the nature of religion and how it impacts the process of man’s search for the Kingdom uncovered several significant truths:
-Religion preoccupies man until he finds the Kingdom.
-Religion is what man does until he finds the Kingdom.
-Religion prepares man to leave earth; the Kingdom empowers man to dominate earth.
-Religion focuses on Heaven; the Kingdom focuses on earth.
-Religion is reaching up to The Most High Yah; the Kingdom is The Most High Yah coming down to man.
-Religion wants to escape earth; the Kingdom impacts, influences and changes earth.
-Religion seeks to take earth to Heaven; the Kingdom seeks to bring Heaven to earth.
Perhaps this is why Yahashua addressed the religious leaders of His day so strongly when He said:
Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.…Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are (Matthew 23:13,15).
Then some Pharisees and teachers of the law came to Yahashua from Jerusalem and asked, “Why do Your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They don’t wash their hands before they eat!” Yahashua replied, “And why do you break the command of The Most High Yah for the sake of your tradition?” (Matthew 15:1-3).
Thus you nullify the word of The Most High Yah for the sake of your tradition (Matthew 15:6b).
For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:20).
Yahashua said to them, “I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of The Most High Yah ahead of you” (Matthew 21:31b).
It seems clear from these words that religion is one of the greatest obstacles to the Kingdom. Perhaps this may be cause for us all to take another look at the power of religion over our lives, culture, and society.

BACK TO THE KINGDOM

Christianity as a religion is well-known, well-established, wellstudied, well-researched, well-recorded, and well-distributed; but little or nothing is known about the Kingdom. As a matter of fact, most of those trained in official institutions to understand the Christian faith and propagate its purported message graduate without ever taking a single course in Kingdom studies. Often, no such course is available. The result is that few so-called ordained ministers and priests have any formal instruction at all in any Kingdom concept. Their priority is in propagating the Christian religion rather than the message and concepts of the Kingdom of The Most High Yah.
This perpetuation of the Christian religion and its rituals, customs, and rites has left a great vacuum in the world that must and can be filled only by understanding the Kingdom.
In this teaching you will learn what a kingdom is, what it consists of, how it functions, and all the components that make a kingdom unique. You will also discover the difference between a kingdom and a religion, and how it compares with all other forms of government. You will be instructed in principles of Kingdom concepts, how they relate to your daily life and how you can appropriateKingdom citizenship here and now. This teaching will help you appreciate that you cannot appropriate what you don’t understand nor experience what you postpone. This is your practical guide to understanding the most important message mankind has ever received; a message the whole world desperately needs to hear. This teaching will equip you not only to receive that message but also to share it effectively with others.

Citizens As Ambassadors!!!

Exodus chapter 20

Today we are walking in: Citizens As Ambassadors!!!!

Today we look to the word-KING- H4428 melek-- king, royal.

CITIZENS AS AMBASSADORS

Everybody on Earth is looking for something. They do not know what they are looking for. They do not know how to describe it. They search everywhere. They drink liquor, smoke dope, go to parties and clubs. They change jobs, get a different spouse, or go back to school for more education. They read books and search the Internet for whatever it is that they are missing. What can satisfy this yearning? Those of us who have found the Kingdom know what it is-it is the King. Once you find Him, you know you have found your long-sought desire, and from the first moment, you want to share the good news with others. He is alive! He loves us! We can know Him! The more we learn about Him, the better it gets. We want to communicate to all of the other searchers what He is like. This King is both our Yah and our Abba; therefore He draws us into His Kingdom and His family circle at the same time. Most of us remain right where we started out, within the same human families, living and working with the same people. But we are not the same anymore. For one thing, we have become ambassadors. From searchers and seekers, we become, by some imperceptible means, representatives of our new King and His government, wherever we may reside. We may travel from place to place, or we may stay put for decades. Wherever we are, we bring a taste of Heaven.

Being Religious Is Not Enough

The goal of Yah was never religion, but rather something I call “rulership through relationship.” I have described His original plan to have Adam and all the people who followed him rule over and manage the planet, and the close association between the words “dominate” and “kingdom,” which you might call rulership. But rulership alone was never Yah’s goal, because it must be based on a relationship with Him. We come into the Kingdom of Yah exclusively through establishing a personal relationship with the King and His Son Yahashua. The Son opened up the way to this relationship when He became a man Himself. His Ruach comes to live inside each one of us, and we begin a lifelong process of growing more and more into His likeness. Not only that, we begin to carry the fragrance of Heaven wherever we go. The apostle named Paul summed it up best when he wrote: Therefore, if anyone is in Hamashiach, he is a new creation’ old things have passed away; behold all things have become new. Now all things are of Yah, who has reconciled us to Himself through Yahushua Hamashiach, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that Yah was in Hamashiach reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Hamashiach, as though Yah were pleading through us: we implore you on Hamachiach’s behalf, be reconciled to Yah. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of Yah in Him. (2 Cor. 5:17-21, emphasis mine)

We have not been saved from our old, earthbound lives simply so that we could become nice-looking additions to the heavenly choir. We have also been given a task to complete- spreading the Kingdom across the globe. We have been commissioned to show the world what the Kingdom looks like. We have become diplomats for the department of Heaven that has colonized Earth. In short, we have become ambassadors for Hamashiach Yahashua. You cannot represent someone you do not know. So that is why being religious is not enough. You need an ongoing relationship with the One in whose name you carry out your day-to-day duties. With His Ruach inside, that should not be difficult to carry out, but we seem to need reminders. Books such as this one are helping people remember, “Yes, I am an ambassador for Hamashiach, and I know what that means.” An ambassador must be connected to the one he represents.

Other people represent their religions (or lack of religion) too, but they do not have this kind of a relationship. That is why they resort to rituals and secret practices, to moral codes and dress regulations. That is also why, sooner or later, they admit that they are still searching for something more. They are not connected with the King, and He created them to be connected.

More Than A Messenger

In diplomatic circles, although ambassadors often live in foreign countries, they keep in touch with their head of state back home. Almost without exception, they know that person well. Ambassadors cannot legislate. They do not create new governmental policies or declare war. Yet they occupy a special position, government-to-government. Their words carry weight. They are senior representatives who have been invested with authority from their governing authority. In the Scripture quoted above, the Greek word translated as ambassador is presbeuo, which means someone just like that. Paul uses the same word again in his letter to the church in the city of Ephesus:[Pray for me}, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. (Eph. 6:19-20, emphasis mine) Imagine that! Paul was locked up in prison without much hope of being released, and he still considered himself an ambassador of Hamashiach. Although his freedom of movement had been curtailed, he was able to write letters such as the one he wrote to the Ephesians, he was able to speak with visitors and guards, and he was able to stay connected to the King through prayerful attention to the Ruach within him.

Vested With Authority

Elsewhere in the New Testament, another Greek word for ambassador appears. The word is Kerux and it is commonly translated “preacher,” “herald,” or “proclaimer.” Sucha messenger has been vested with authority to convey the official messages of kings, magistrates, princes, military commanders to authorities in other places, and to perform duties on behalf of their sending ruler. Throughout the New Testament, Yah’s kerux ambassadors are proclaiming the divine Word. They were vested with authority by Yah the King to deliver messages and perform duties on His behalf, wherever they went. It did not stop after the New Testament times. You and I have been vested with the same authority. Yahashua was speaking to us when He said, “I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Abba conferred one on me” (Luke 22:29). His meaning is clear-messengers and ambassadors of the Kingdom carry the authority of the entire country as they go from place to place. They do not carry only a set of diplomatic rituals or social niceties. Their words have weight, and they know it. Dr. Munroe says, I never thought deeply about the word “confer” until it was used over me in a ceremony. Some years ago, I received the OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) from a representative of the Queen of England. I had to bow and he put this thing over my neck. Then the governor pinned something on my suit coat, speaking as he did it, “By the authority of the Queen of England, I confer on you the British Empire.” He conferred a whole nation on me. Now when I go to England and they see “OBE” on my passport, everybody jumps to attention. “Yes, sir, Dr. Munroe; is there anything we can do for you?” Those simple initials carry the weight of authority. Everytime someone becomes an official ambassador of a country, the same phrase is used: “I confer on you the Commonwealth of the Bahamas,” using the name of the ambassador’s country. Thus, that individual personifies the whole country. We are official ambassadors of the Kingdom of Yah because Yahashua has conferred the Kingdom on us.

Ambassadorship

You will never see an ambassador in a club or a disco. You will never hear that he got drunk and walked around in public inappropriately dressed or participated in some scandal. Such behavior does not befit the dignity of the office. Ambassadors choose their words carefully, and you will never see them explode in anger in public. Whatever an ambassador does, the global community will impute to the country he or she represents. The ambassador is the country. This should be no less true for Kingdom ambassadors. We should be asking ourselves, “Am I representing Heaven?” as we walk around the food store, go to the gas station, or walk across the street. I think one reason we are not very disciplined in our lives is because we do not understand that we are carrying the weight of the country of Heaven. Yahashua said, “He who has seen Me has seen the Abba” (John 14:9). In essence, he was saying, “If you have seen Me, you have seen my source.” Can You say that? Why or why not? Do people have an idea of what Heaven is like when they meet you? You might be the only Kingdom believer in your workplace. Those people around you have only one source for their information about Heaven; you may be the only “heavenling” they know. How you act and react will represent your citizenship. Remember that you have been appointed as the local ambassador of the Kingdom in that workplace.

Benefits of Ambassadorship

If you turn it around, you can see that when you represent another country, it is a good situation to be in. Yes, you must behave yourself with dignity as befits your office. But you will be permitted to enjoy all the benefits of your citizenship with additional benefits added. For example, have you ever seen an ambassador driving an old jalopy with holes in his shirt? No, because the government pays all of his bills. If he needs something he just asks. “No problem, sir. “You are the ambassador.” Dr. Munroe says, Not too long ago, I went with a few others to Haiti. The Bahamian ambassador picked us up at the airport and we drove through the streets in an air-conditioned SUV. All around us was rubble. People were sleeping on the streets in the muck, just as you have seen in all the pictures. We just drove through all of that in air-conditioned comfort, sipping on cool drinks. The Bahamian flag was fluttering from the front of that beautiful SUV. I am sure that the people we passed were wondering what country that flag represented, thinking to themselves, Wherever that flag comes from, I want to go there. We arrived at the ambassador’s house in the hills. I said, “Wait a minute. Are we still in the same country that had the earthquake?” Yes. We walked into the house and someone served us a big breakfast of bacon, cheese, and grits, right there in the middle of all that poverty. The ambassador took me to my bedroom and it was as big as a house. He said, “You can sleep here tonight” I asked if he meant me and the brother who was with me or me alone. “Oh, he has his own room. This is all for you.”And he opened a curtain and showed both of us a big swimming pool full of blue water. I said, “Don’t you feel guilty sometimes, your Excellency?” He said, “No. When you step into my car and drive through my gate, you enter the Bahamas.” The property of an embassy is the same as the country it represents. It will always be as rich as the country the ambassador comes from. It will never have to be as poor as the country in which the embassy and the ambassador’s house are situated. As we sat eating at that breakfast table, the ambassador had said, “Do you want more?” and we said yes. So the cook came in with another big plate of food. We could have had even more if we had asked. There was no end of food-in Haiti, after an earthquake. The ambassador never had to fly to the Bahamas for his bacon and eggs. He received it every day in Haiti. He did not need to go back to the Bahamas to enjoy a nice, air conditioned house with a pool. He was experiencing the Bahamian lifestyle in a country away from the Bahamas. The Kingdom lifestyle- clean living, love-filled, and truly joyful- is ours wherever we may be stationed on the globe. The King is taking such good care of His citizens that they are living like the Bahamian ambassador in a ruined world. He is at work inside us, making us look more and more like Him. His goal is to bring us to a place where we will have no corruption, no sickness, no pressure, no difficulties. He gives us a big taste of it now. This is a culture of plenty, and it makes people want to come to Yah.

Every Citizen Of The Kingdom Is An Ambassador

As you go to work tomorrow morning or stop to buy something that you need, remember that you are a citizen of Heaven and an ambassador for the Kingdom of Heaven. This is important, because you will not be able to be much of an ambassador for the King if you forget your identity. He has conferred His authority on you, and He has given you an assignment, to represent Him wherever you go and to spread the truth about the Kingdom you represent. Can you do that? I pray that you will be able to connect with the King on a daily basis, and that you will hear what He is saying to you. Your assignment may seem insignificant to you, but the way you complete it is very important. May your citizenship in the Kingdom equip you to be a true ambassador, and may the King commend you for your service when its time is over. “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!” (Matt. 25:21, NIV)

Responsibility Of The Citizen!!! Part 2!!!

Exodus Chapter 20

Today we are walking in: Responsibility Of The Citizen!!! Part 2!!!

Today we look to the word RIGHTEOUSNESS--H6663 tsadaq -- Justify, Righteous, Just, Justice, Cleansed, Clear Ourselves, Righteousness

The Torah testifies.........……

Deuteronomy 6:25
And it shall be our righteousness H6663, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.

The prophets proclaim..................

Isaiah 54:17
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness H6663 is of me, saith the LordThe prophets proclaim..................
Isaiah 54:17
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness H6663 is of me, saith the Lord.

The writings bear witness............

Proverbs 11:5
The righteousness H6663 of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

The Power Of Obeying Laws

Righteous means obeying the laws of Yah, out of love for Him and with his help. The word “righteous” means all of these things: right positioning under authority, alignment with authority, right standing with authority, fellowship with authority, relationship with authority, correct standing with the regulations of authority and fulfillment of a king’s requirements. In essence, obedience to the laws of any nation is a form of righteousness, and that obedience keeps you in good standing within the country.

You know what it feels like to transgress a law or rule, how it makes your heart thump faster when you see the police or another authority figure coming, even if that person does not know what you did. You have a private judge on the inside that makes you feel guilty. You know that you are out of alignment with the authority because you violated a regulation.

The only solution is to re-engage with your authority, to get back under his legal protection. Seek to regain and maintain your alignment with the governing authorities, and you will regain access to everything in the constitution.

Benefits Of Being A Law-Abiding Kingdom Citizen

Citizenship is the key to empowerment, because it provides legitimate access to all the rights and privileges of a state. When you become a citizen of the Kingdom, your citizenship is registered in heaven (see Ephesians 2:19). Therefore, you obtain all the rights and privileges of Heaven. With the keys of the Kingdom in your hands, you have access to the storehouse. As long as you keep those keys in your hands, you can go in and out as often as you want to.

This puts you in a particular category of citizen, and it is a powerful category. For you as a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven, nothing is impossible. (Yahashua said so; see Matthew 17:20.) You can move mountains.

Benefits Of Prayer

Yahashua told a story about a widow who went before an ungodly judge (see Luke 18:1-8). He was the worst judge around, a man who did not fear Yah and did not honor people. In those days, widows were destitute. They had nobody to look after their rights or their welfare. They were very vulnerable. This particular widow was no different from the others, except that she knew her rights. She knew that she had a right to her claim before the judge, and she was unrelenting in her persistence.

When that little widow stood before that judge, she knew her stuff. The judge said, “No.” She persisted anyway. The judge said, “Go away.” She came back. She was not begging or weeping. She was making a request, because she knew what her rights were. She knew the judge was required to render them to her.

Most think of the words “judge” and “judgement” in a negative sense. We think of judgemental statements and consignment to prison (or to hell). But when the Bible says Yahashua was a righteous judge, it means He is the judge who is always lined up correctly with the laws of Yah- the one who gives you your rights. Train your mind to think of Him as a judge who is a rights-giver. His job is to get you what is rightfully yours. The lawyer makes the appeal but the judge executes justice.

The better you know what is written in the law-book, the Bible, the better you will know what your rights are. I have been calling it the constitution of the Kingdom, because it tells you all of your rights, privileges, expectations, aspirations, and hopes- and it tells you what you need to do to obtain and attain them. If you know what the Bible says and you follow it, you will be a law-abiding citizen who will not lose your rights.

In our experience, the Ruach Hakodesh is the Advocate, Counselor, or chief lawyer before the throne of Yah. We know that the Bible was written by the inspiration of the Ruach. This guarantees that the Ruach knows that legal document front-ward and backward. Because He abides inside of us after we become reborn citizens, we do not have to come before the Judge all alone.

The Spirit brings the law to our remembrance, and He makes our appeal to Yahashua, “[who] always lives to make inter-cession for them” (Heb. 7:25). He is praying for us, standing between Heaven’s judgement and our sin. This is a setup for total success. How can you go into that courtroom and lose a case? Even more powerful, this intercessor is your brother. Before you even get to the room, he is praying for you. He is offering His own righteousness on your behalf. When you walk in, you do not need to say anything. The Ruach Hakodesh looks at the Abba and says, “According to what He did” nodding toward Yahashua who took care of the matter on the cross, and the appeal gets finalized. Your advocate does not bring up your name. He brings the name of the King who paid the price for you and who has been praying for you ever since. You have the whole government backing you up.

Prayer itself does not get things done. Positioning in prayer gets things done. The best preparation for prayer is your obedience to the laws of Yah. Many times, the reason Yah cannot help you is because you ask Him last. Only by staying aligned with the Lawgiver and Judge, through the work of the Ruach and Son, can you prevail.

Have you noticed that if you have just sinned, you are unable to find boldness in prayer? When you break Yah’s law, it shuts down your prayer life. You have cancelled your right to appeal. “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me” (Psalm 66:18). The prophet Isaiah stated it clearly” “But your iniquities have separated you from your Yah; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear” (Isa. 59:2).

It will not matter how loudly you beg for mercy and cry out for help, because Yah does not bless you because you cry; He blessed you because you qualify. Believers have authority in prayer as long as they have maintained their side of their covenant with the King. The covenant is a legal agreement. You do not have to go before Him with theatrics or hysterics any more than a lawyer would go before a judge that way. You just have to be a citizen in good standing, and the judge will hear your case.

Does that sound too legalistic to you? Did you think that Yahashuas’ coming meant the end of the Law? I have news for you; His coming meant that the Law was fulfilled in Him. “Hamashiach is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes” (Rom. 10:4).

Everybody in the Kingdom is equal. The King does not listen to special interest groups, and nobody has to wear special Kingdom regalia to get His attention. Any citizen of the Kingdom has equal access to the King. He will act on the behalf of anyone as soon as He sees that Yahashua is standing there on that person’s behalf.

Benefits Of Access

Let’s say I am a multi-billionaire and you are my son or daughter. You ask me for your inheritance early. I am generous, so I give you a billion dollars, and I help you set up a bank account for it. It is a drop in the bucket for me anyway, since I have more than 30 billion in my own bank accounts.

When your sister says, “Daddy,, I don’t want my own bank account,” I am glad because I would rather give her access to mine. It is the better choice. I will give her access to my accounts and she can write checks whenever she needs to. She will never run out of money, will she? This is the same as Yah’s provision for His citizens. No wonder Yahashua told His Disciples not to take any luggage when they set out to preach and heal the sick: “Take nothing for the journey- no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, no extra shirt” (Luke 9:3). He will send His provision all along the way, because they have access to His account.

Righteousness being in a right position with regard to the government of Heaven is what guarantees your access. My first child cannot go to the bank and demand funds from my account. Neither can you go to the throne room of Yah and start claiming things that you are not qualified to claim. Citizenship and right standing give you rights and justice.

Many people think that righteousness means staying clear of big sins. (You know, don’t roba bank and don’t murder anybody.) But righteousness covers obedience to every little law; it also means do not lie or deceive people, do not be jealous or envious, do not criticize or judge, do not murmur or complain. One murmur can shut the whole government down as far as your access is concerned.

Now one of the dumbest things a person can do is get up in the King’s face and start fussing at Him. That is called rebellion. The only remedy is repentance and humble submission. Do not forfeit your access to Yah. He loves you and He has given you the whole Kingdom:

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry. (Ps. 34:15)

Sit at My right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool.” (Ps. 110:1)

In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (prov. 3:6)

Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of The Most High your Yah, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Most High your Yah will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Most High your Yah… (Deut. 28:1-2)

Come Like A Child

We complicate our lives so much. Yahashua makes it simple. One time, he took a nearby child and used him to illustrate his point about how to enter the Kingdom and stay in the Kingdom:

Then Yahashua called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them and said, Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (Matt. 18:2-4)

Do you see? Our primary responsibility as citizens of the Kingdom is to remain childlike. Stay close to Yah. Do what He says. Trust Him. Stop worrying; your Daddy is taking care of you. Right now morning, noon and night.

The enemy of Kingdom life is being an adult. Being an adult will kill you, because you take on the responsibilities of the universe and you are not equipped to do that. You are a child; get used to the idea. Yah is your Abba and Yahashua is your big brother. You thought that being a mature citizen meant taking on more responsibilities, but in the Kingdom, it means taking on less. Adults have to calculate, analyze and explain everything before they act. Adults do not believe in something until they see it. Adults need a reason before they will believe anything.

Children, on the other hand, are quick to believe, innocent of strategic thinking, pliable. They put unquestioning trust in those over them. They are not at all impressed by status or money. When they meet a billionaire on the street they think he is just another old man like their grandfather. Children do not own much of anything, so it is not hard for them to give up things.

You never hear of a child fretting about having enough money, because somebody will always take care of them. They take things for granted, and that is okay. When I was a child, we had eleven children in the house and my father was not wealthy. It never occurred to me or my brothers and sisters to worry about where our next meal was coming from. It just happened.

Kingdom citizens soon learn how to trust like a child. Our Abba supplies our needs from the most amazing directions. Who, for example, would ever thought that Yah’s safety deposit box was the mouth of a fish? When the disciples had to come up with tax money, Yahashua directed them: “Go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours” (Matt. 17:27).

You were not born to beg. You were born to collect. You were born to have access to endless supply because your father owns everything. You are a family member, a member of His household. You are also a citizen. That gives you relationship status and also legal status. Your disposition with Yah gives you position with Yah.

When you come like a child to the threshold of the Kingdom, it is easy to get through the door. Yah created you to be a citizen of the Kingdom. Do your part and you will never regret it. Every citizen must make his or her own response to the requirements of citizenship. Nobody can obey the law for another person. I cannot stop st the red light for you; you have to do it yourself. I cannot pay your taxes. I cannot align myself with the laws of the Kingdom on your behalf, as much as I might want to.

Obedience to the laws of the Kingdom is both a proof and a demonstration of true love. The King is coming back someday, and He will decide who has been following His ways. He will not be impressed with the biggest churches or the longest list of academic degrees. He will look at the hearts of his citizens. “Did you love Me? Did you love others? Did you listen and obey My Word?” Those who can answer “yes” will dwell in the Kingdom for all of eternity:

When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, “Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” (Matt. 25:31-34

Sheep or goats? I know which group I want to be part of, and I hope I will meet you there.

Responsibility Of The Citizen!!!!

Exodus chapter 20

Today we are walking in: The Responsibility of The Citizen!!!

Today we look to the word- KINGDOM- H4467 mamlâkâh,- dominion, (abstractly) the estate (rule) or (concretely) the country (realm):—kingdom, king's, reign, royal

The Torah testifies...............

Deuteronomy 17:18

And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, H4467 that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:

The prophets proclaim..................

1 Samuel 10:18

And said unto the children of Israel, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, H4467 and of them that oppressed you:

The writings bear witness...........................

1 Kings 9:5

Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom H4467 upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

You are a citizen of a country on Earth, and I hope you are a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven. Remember that your citizenship does not mean only that the government is responsible for taking care of you, but that you have a responsibility to the government as well. It is a two-way street, and the traffic goes both ways. Just as it is for you as a citizen of your earthly country, so also in the Kingdom of Yah are you held accountable to the government by means of its constitution, in this case, the Bible. You can be a much happier and more productive citizen when you understand your responsibilities.

Sad to say, many people do not want to shoulder their responsibilities. They are glad Yah has saved them, but they do not necessarily want to obey Him. They do not understand that their obedience is a way of expressing their appreciation. Yahashua Hamashiach Himself put it concisely: “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (john: ). They also fail to acknowledge that the rights that they enjoy as citizens, while they cannot be earned because they have been given as privileges, must be maintained through simple obedience to the laws of the land.

Submission To Authority

When you become a citizen of a country, the laws of that country automatically become your laws. As you submit to those laws, you submit to the authority of the government. By submitting to the laws, you are free to remain in the country for a long time, to move around the country for pleasure or business, and to enjoy the protections and privileges of citizenship.

Break even one of those laws, however, and your freedoms will be curtailed. If you have transgressed in a significant way, you may be incarcerated in prison. You may be deprived of your passport. You may be required to go through a long process before you can be reinstated as a free citizen. Jails are filled with irresponsible citizens who did not take responsibility for keeping the law.

Citizenship manifests the contract between the government and the people. The key to enjoying the privileges that come with citizenship is personal obedience to the laws of the country.

So these are the facts, if you are part of the country called the Kingdom of Heaven:

You are a citizen with legal rights to benefit from the constitution of Yah.

You have personal rights and authority to exercise your power as a citizen through alignment with constitutional law.

The last phrase is the clincher. The secret to wielding authority in the Kingdom is aligning yourself with the laws of the country, in other words, obedience. You obey Yah for the sake of your life here and now (and not just in order to get to Heaven when you die). This is the Kingdom lifestyle, and maintaining it is your responsibility.

Authority is a good thing, and you never outgrow your need for it. Can you imagine a plant saying this to the soil? “That is enough. You have been holding me down for all these years. I’m out of here, and I am taking my root with me.” What would happen if a plant did that? It would die, sooner than later. The absence of authority brings self-destruction.

Fish were created to submit to water. If a fish decides to move out from under its authority, you do not need to punish it, because it will die. The safest place for the fish to be is submitted. Surely you have seen a fish out of water. It gasps and flips and flops, trying as hard as it can to get back into water. I know people like that. They try this and that and wonder why nothing is working. When young people leave home too early, life can be very tough for a long time. It is the same principle. It is time to get back under authority.

Part of submission to authority is patience. When we fly, sometimes I listen to the pilot talking on the radio. That man needs to be completely submitted to authority. If the control tower tells him he cannot land yet, he goes into a holding pattern. His flight plan is very specific. He cannot deviate from it twelve inches in any direction without getting permission. He may not be able to see any other aircraft around him, but the people in the tower can see all of them, coming and going.

In the same way, the authorities over us keep us from crashing into each other if we obey their directives. Freedom has boundaries, always. In the Kingdom, if the King says, “You are free to eat from any other tree, but do not eat from this tree,” He has good reasons. Disobedience is not the best way to find out about the repercussions.

Authority Makes Power Legal

We like to be around powerful people, but we need to ask ourselves, “Is this person’s power under authority?” Power combines ability and energy and force, while authority is the right and permission to use that power. Authority is the right to use power effectively, not because you could, but because you should. Authority makes power legal.

Therefore, authority is more important than power. Teenagers may have the power to leave home, but they do not yet have the authority to leave. A person may be very aggressive and loud in speaking, but if they do not have authority, their words will not carry weight.

Submission to authority is what makes a person effective.

One time a military officer came to see Yahashua on behalf of his servant who was lying at home, paralyzed and suffering. Yahashua was willing to accompany him to his home in order to hela the servant, but much to his surprise the man declined his offer:

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Notice how the centurion addressed Yahashua. He called him “Lord,” which indicates that he honored His authority. “Lord” is a legal term, not a religious term. It means “owner”. In that culture, you would use that word for king.

See also how the centurion’s military experience gave him a more complete understanding of the way authority works. He was completely submitted to the Roamn emperor and any other commanders who ranked above him. He had at least a hundred soldiers who reported directly to him (The title “centurion” is related to the word “century”, which indicates one hundred.) Probably he has been watching Yahshua as he worked in the village. He may have seen Him healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out demons and more. Obviously, this man Yahashua had power. Obviously some higher authority was guiding Him. He knew that a person’s performance depended upon his obedience to the instructions he had been given.

So he made the leap from his natural observation to faith and Yahashua was impressed with that, declaring that the servant was already being healed, and commending the centurion to the people around them. A distance away, the paralyzed servant got up from his mat, healed and whole, without Yahashua ever having had to make the trip to his house.

In the same way, if any of us want to experience Yah’s best for our lives, we must get positioned properly which is to say under authority and our entraties will be heard and answered.

Righteousness Exalts A Nation

Yahashua said, “Seek first the kingdom of Yah and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (Matt. 6:33). He wants us to seek first His Kingdom and, along with it, His righteousness is the same as submission to His authority within the Kingdom of Yah. By becoming righteous, you uphold the authority of the Kingdom which in turn will uphold you. “Righteousness exalts a nation” (Prov. 14:34). This is nothing like other religions, where “submitting” involves trying to keep your god happy. You are not bringing gifts to an altar or lighting incense and chanting in front of a statue. You are not contributing money or going through all sorts of rituals to obligate your king to look after you. You are not appeasing the authorities.

When you submit to Yah’s authority, He shows you what is next. He helps you change your behavior. He even helps you seek more of His righteousness. By remaining close to Him, you guarantee that the authority of the government of the Kingdom will be extended through you wherever you go.

When you keep the law, you secure your Yah-given authority over the kingdom darkness. Evidently, hell keeps track when citizens of the Kingdom keep the laws of Yah. Demons will know who you are if you abide in the Kingdom righteously. You are in their computer. That means that you can cast them out with ease, because they know you by your Kingdom reputation.

The laws to which you are submitting are heavenly laws, such as, “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you and pray for those who spitefully use you” (Luke 6:27-28). So as you use kingdom love, which is powerful enough to extinguish the powers of darkness around you, you keep yourself under the protection of Yah while fulfilling your assignment.

You know that hatred will shut down your faith, and so will blind rituals. (In Galatians 5:6, Paul says, “For in Christ Yahashua neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.”) So you submit to the Yah of love even more completely, to your own benefit as much as the benefit of those around you.

You do not get things from Yah just because you ask. You get things from the government of Heaven because you keep the laws of the country. It is not enough to talk about the laws. You need to read the law-book as often as possible and follow those laws faithfully. The minute you stop doing that, you start removing yourself from the King’s protection and help.

A lot of people think they can get away with sins just because nobody’s looking. That is audacious, to say the least. We come to Yah and say, “Yah, heal me (but I’m still going to take drugs).” Or we say, “I’m going to sleep with that woman I am not married to, but I want you to bless my business and pay my bills.” We demand things while we are in disobedience.

Instead of breaking laws and hoping you can get away with it, why not start obeying laws that you would not mind getting caught obeying? For example, see if you can get caught loving your brother. See if somebody can catch you paying your tithe. Let somebody catch you forgiving someone who hurt you, or spot you committing an act of kindness. Gossip about somebody who has lived with his wife for forty-two years without strife; that would be a wonderful thing to gossip about. The laws of this country are wonderful, every one of them. Do right intentionally all the time, and the king is going to bless you.

How To Submit To Authority

Submitting to the King of kings often entails submitting to those He has established in authority. You cannot submit to someone you are comparing yourself to or competing with, especially if you are interested in taking that person’s position. By the same token, you cannot submit to someone if you are jealous of that person, or if you distrust that person. It just does not work.

A good king is willing to decrease so one of his subjects can increase. In other words, a good king is willing to move over and let one of his citizens exercise power. A citizen can expect this to happen. He should not feel the need to push and shove to get the king’s attention, nor should he shoulder his way in with a sense of entitlement.

You will find it impossible to submit to someone if you think they are not as smart as you are, even when you tell yourself you are not influenced by such things. Naturally authority does not match up with intelligence, and still less with educational achievement. But pride gets in the way and you cannot put yourself lower than a person you want to correct all the time.

Conversely, you will be able to submit to someone’s authority if you are able to trust and respect that person. You will indicate your submission by laying down your own agenda in favor of theirs. You will not feel the need to win an argument or negotiate an outcome. Instead, you will find joy in performing assigned tasks and asking for advice.

Sometimes people say to an authority figure, “The Lord sent me to work with you. I want you to be my mentor.” That is not submission. Those people just want to gain a measure of honor and fame in the eyes of others, so they can take away some of your friends and followers. They have got their ulterior motives all worked out.

You will find it easy to submit to someone if you know in your spirit that Yah brought this person into your life. Your discernment will show you that the person will not take advantage of you, and that he or she wants Yah’s best for your life. You will be able to tell that your own effectiveness will improve if you are under this person’s authority.

Keys Of The Kingdom

The laws of Yah are the keys to His Kingdom. Abiding by His righteous ruling unlocks the divine power that you need to live as a fully vested citizen of Heaven. Therefore, the more you can learn about his laws, the better.

This is a spiritual reality with very practical implications. It changes a person’s lifestyle into a Kingdom lifestyle, and that lifestyle has authoritative power. Look at the connection:

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. (Matt. 16:19)

When you use the keys of the Kingdom to lock and unlock, bind and unbind, you are not responsible for the exercise of power or for the results. You are, however, responsible to obtain and use the keys in the first place. By submitting to the laws of the Kingdom, you surrender to the authority of Yah, and that sets you free from the burden of making things happen. Heaven will back you up when you turn one of the keys.

Citizens of the Kingdom have a responsibility to learn the words of the Bible. We need to read it often, because we tend to forget what it says. We need to read it more often than we read the newspaper. When the devil attacked Yahashua in the wilderness, His responses came straight from Scripture. He said, “It is written…” (See Luke 4:1-13.) Those words were His keys to the Kingdom and victory.

Yahashua said “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner” (John 5:19). He exercised the keys of Kingdom authority better than anybody before or since. Yet He, true Prince that He is, wants nothing more than for the citizens of His Kingdom to exercise those same keys.

You need to do only two things:

Seek the Kingdom in order to get into citizenship

Seek the King’s righteousness in order to stay in it. In other words, stay aligned with the King.

When you stay aligned with the King and His government, you obligate Him to take care of you. All of the promises in the constitution remain accessible to you, as needed. Things that you would otherwise need to fight for will come your way with no sweat. That is why the Scripture reads, “Seek first the kingdom of Yah and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Having all these things added means you will have a lot of unwanted things subtracted, things like bad health, stress, and anxiety.

You should not be living to make a living. Your priority should not be working and living just to earn enough money to pay your bills. Yahashua has another perspective on such things. He says, “take no thought for them” (See Matthew 6:34). Instead of fretting about food and clothing and adding to an endless list of prayer requests, why not take His advice?
