NEW YEAR SAME YOU

Proverbs chapter 23

Today we are walking in: New Year Same You

Habakkuk 1:11

Then shall his mind change H2015, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.

CHANGE

Today we look to the word- CHANGE- H2015- haphak- a primitive root; to turn about or over; by implication, to change, overturn, return, pervert:—become, change, come, be converted, give, make (a bed), overthrow overturn), perverse, retire, tumble, turn (again, aside, back, to the contrary, every way).

Leviticus 27:33

He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change H2015 it: and if he change H2015 it at all, then both it and the change H2015 thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.

Proverbs 24:21

My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change H2015:

NEW YEAR SAME YOU

My brothers and sisters, I want you to listen to me very carefully this morning because what I am about to say may sound simple, but it is dangerously misunderstood. Many people are excited ABOUT A NEW YEAR, A NEW SEASON, A NEW CHAPTER, BUT I CAME UNDER divine assignment to warn you.

Time does not change people. Calendars do not transform lives. Dates do not deliver destinies. AND IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL, YOU WILL CELEBRATE a new year with the same old life. The greatest deception in human thinking is the belief that the passage of time produces progress.

Time is neutral. Time has no power. Time does not heal wounds. Time does not fix marriages. Time does not make people wiser. And time does not make you successful. Only truth applied does that.

The Bible never says as a man waits so is his life changed. It says, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” Mishlei 23:7. YOUR LIFE IS NOT A PRODUCT OF TIME. IT IS A PRODUCT OF THINKING.

I want to make a statement that may shock some of you. You can move into a new year and still be in the same place. YOU CAN SHOUT HAPPY NEW YEAR AND STILL BE LIVING THE SAME HABITS, MAKING THE SAME DECISIONS, PRODUCING THE SAME RESULTS, and wondering why Elohiym has NOT DONE SOMETHING NEW.

Elohiym IS NOT OBLIGATED to create a new future for an unchanged mind. Scripture says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romaiym 12:2. Notice carefully, it does not say, “Be transformed by a new season.” Transformation is not seasonal. It is mental.

Many people say, “This year will be different.” But different words without different thinking produce identical results. The future is not mysterious. THE FUTURE IS PREDICTABLE. WHENEVER PRINCIPLES ARE IGNORED, the outcome is guaranteed.

Galatiym 6:7 says, “Be not deceived. Elohiym is not mocked. For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” You do not reap what you pray for, you reap what you plant. And planting is a function of mindset.

Let me say this plainly because I love you too much to deceive you with comfort. If you carry the same mindset into 2026, you will repeat the same year. YOU MAY CHANGE YOUR CLOTHES, YOUR PHONE, YOUR JOB TITLE OR YOUR ADDRESS. BUT IF THE GOVERNMENT OF YOUR THINKING DOES NOT CHANGE, YOUR LIFE will remain under the same administration.

Yahusha NEVER CAME TO ANNOUNCE A RELIGION. HE CAME TO ANNOUNCE a kingdom. And a kingdom is about government. That means your life is always being governed either by truth or by ignorance.

Some of you are praying for change. BUT ELOHIYM is waiting for alignment. Elohiym does not respond to desperation. He responds to order.

The Bible says, “The thoughts of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.” Mishlei 21:5. Notice it IS NOT THE PASSING OF DAYS that leads to abundance. It is the thoughts of the diligent. Thought precedes destiny.

I want you to understand this clearly. This message is not motivational. It is preventative. I am not here to excite you. I am here to rescue you from cycles.

There are people listening to me right now who have lived the same year five times and called it five different years. Same frustration, SAME FINANCIAL PRESSURE, same relational breakdowns, same unfulfilled dreams. And every year you say, “Next year will be my year.” But you NEVER ASK WHAT MUST change in my thinking for my year to change.

The Bible says in Qoheleth 1:9, “What has been will be again. What has been done will be done again. There is nothing new under the sun.” That scripture is not about Elohiym lacking creativity. It is about humans refusing correction. Elohiym is infinitely creative but he will not violate his own laws to accommodate your comfort. If you do not change the cause, Elohiym will not alter the effect.

So I came to say this at the very beginning and I want you TO WRITE IT DOWN BECAUSE THIS IS THE FOUNDATION OF EVERYTHING WE WILL TALK ABOUT. A new year does not guarantee a new life. Only a renewed mind does. Until your thinking is upgraded, your future will BE RECYCLED. AND ELOHIYM IS NOT OBLIGATED to move you forward if you are unwilling to think differently.

This teaching IS SERIOUS BECAUSE IT DETERMINES WHETHER YOU ADVANCE OR REMAIN STUCK. AND AS WE GO FORWARD, YOU WILL BEGIN TO SEE THAT THE PROBLEM WAS NEVER TIME. The problem was never the economy. THE PROBLEM WAS NEVER PEOPLE. The problem was mindset.

Now let us go deeper because once you understand why people repeat years, you will stop blaming time and start taking responsibility.

REPETITION IS NOT ACCIDENTAL. REPETITION is intentional ignorance. People do not repeat life because they want to. They repeat life because they do not know how to escape cycles. AND ELOHIYM NEVER CONDEMNS A PERSON FOR IGNORANCE. But he does hold you responsible for remaining ignorant once truth is available.

Let me define something for you because definitions determine understanding. A cycle is movement without progress. A cycle is activity without advancement. A cycle is motion that gives the illusion of change while keeping you in the same position.

That is why the children of Yashar’el could WALK EVERY DAY AND STILL NEVER ARRIVE. THE BIBLE says in Devariym that what should have taken 11 days took 40 years. WHY? Because distance IS NOT THE PROBLEM. THINKING is.

Many people are busy but they are not productive. They are tired but they are not advancing. They are moving but they are not growing. And the reason is simple. MOVEMENT DOES not equal progress. Progress requires direction and direction requires understanding.

The Bible says wisdom is the principal thing. Therefore get wisdom and in all your getting get understanding. Mishlei 4:7. You can have energy without wisdom and still destroy your life faster.

HERE’S THE DANGER. REPETITION IS SUBTLE. YOU DON’T WAKE UP ONE morning and say, “I am repeating my life.” REPETITION DISGUISES ITSELF AS FAMILIARITY. It feels normal. It feels routine. It feels safe. And that is why it is so deadly.

Yahusha warned about this WHEN HE SAID, “Wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction and many enter through it.” Mattithyahu 7:13. Many people are not destroyed by rebellion. They are destroyed by repetition.

Let me explain how repetition works in the human life. You make the same decisions because you hold the same beliefs. Those decisions produce the same behaviors. Those behaviors generate the same results. AND WHEN THE RESULTS DISAPPOINT YOU, INSTEAD OF CHANGING your thinking, you change your excuses. You say, “If only the economy were better.” You say, “IF ONLY I HAD MORE SUPPORT.” You say, “IF ONLY I HAD MORE EDUCATION.” BUT ELOHIYM SAYS, “IF ONLY YOU WOULD renew your mind.”

The tragedy is that people ask Elohiym to change outcomes while refusing to change inputs. But Elohiym is a God of law. He does not violate his principles to answer your prayers.

Yahusha said, “You will know the truth and the truth will make you free.” Yochanan 8:32. NOTICE FREEDOM DOES NOT COME FROM time and it does not come from prayer alone. It comes from truth understood and applied. If truth is not applied, freedom is delayed.

I want you to hear this carefully. Elohiym does not advance people who repeat lessons. HEAVEN IS NOT IMPRESSED by how long you’ve been struggling. Heaven responds to obedience, not duration. The Bible says, “When the student is ready, the teacher pays. But when the student refuses to learn, the lesson repeats. That is not punishment. THAT IS MERCY.” Elohiym is too loving to promote you into destruction.

This is why many people say every year feels the same. IT IS THE SAME BECAUSE THE SAME DECISIONS are being made, AND DECISIONS ARE THE OFFSPRING OF THINKING.

Yahusha said something very powerful in Luqas 6:43–45. He said, “A good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.” In other words, your results are revealing your root system. The fruit is not the problem. The thinking is.

Another reason people repeat years is because they mistake effort for effectiveness. You can try harder and still fail if you’re doing the wrong thing well. Excellence in the wrong direction is still failure. That is why the Bible says there is a way that seems right to a man but its end is the way of death. Mishlei 14:12. Sincerity does not correct error. EFFORT DOES NOT override ignorance. Only truth does.

Let me say something that may offend religious thinking. Elohiym is not obligated to interrupt your cycle if you are committed to it. Elohiym will allow you to experience the consequences of your thinking until you desire change more than comfort.

This is why Yahusha spoke in parables. He says, “Seeing they do not see and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.” Mattithyahu 13:13. Not because truth was hidden, but because pride blocks perception.

Repetition continues BECAUSE FAMILIARITY BECOMES A SUBSTITUTE FOR GROWTH. PEOPLE BECOME LOYAL TO HABITS THAT ARE KILLING THEM. THEY PROTECT patterns that imprison them. AND THEN THEY PRAY for freedom without surrendering control.

But Scripture says, “Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of Elohiym and he will exalt you in due time.” Kepha Ri’shon 5:6. Exaltation, promotion, advancement comes only after humility. And humility begins with admitting: my thinking must change.

So hear me clearly. If nothing changes inside you, nothing will change around you. You can cross into a new year, but if YOUR MINDSET CROSSES WITH YOU, your future will look very familiar.

Elohiym is ready to move you forward, but he will not drag you into destiny against your will. He requires your cooperation through understanding. And that brings us to the heart of the issue because now we must talk about the real governor of your life. Not time, not people, not circumstances, but something far more powerful.

Now let us go to the root of the matter because if you miss this, you will misunderstand everything else. I want to say this slowly, deliberately, and with authority:

Your mindset is the government of your life. Every life is governed. No one lives without government. THE ONLY QUESTION IS WHAT IS GOVERNING YOU? YOUR FUTURE IS NOT CONTROLLED by time, luck, people, or even circumstances. It is controlled by THE SYSTEM OF THINKING you submit to daily.

Let me define mindset for you because definition produces clarity. A mindset is a fixed mental attitude that determines how you interpret life, make decisions, and respond to situations. In other words, it is the invisible ruler of your visible behavior.

That is why two people can be in the same environment under the same pressure, facing the same economy, and yet produce completely different outcomes. The difference is not opportunity. The difference is government.

The Bible confirms this principle clearly. Mishlei 4:23 says, “Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life.” The word issues there means boundaries, directions, and outcomes. YOUR LIFE DOES NOT FLOW FROM HEAVEN FIRST. IT FLOWS FROM YOUR HEART, your mind, YOUR THINKING. Heaven supplies, but the mind decides what is accessed.

This is why Yahusha never started by changing people’s circumstances. He always addressed their thinking. His first recorded message was not about miracles, money, or comfort. He said, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Mattithyahu 4:17. The word repent does not mean cry or feel sorry. It means change your mind. Why? Because the kingdom cannot function inside an unrenewed mindset. A new government requires new thinking.

Now understand this carefully. Every mindset produces behavior and every behavior produces results. You do not rise to your desires. You fall to your thinking.

That is why education without transformation produces intelligent failure. You can quote Scripture and still live beneath your potential if your mindset contradicts the truth you confess.

Yaaqov says it plainly: “Be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” **Yaaqov 1:22.** Self-deception begins in the mind.

Many people believe prayer will fix what mindset created. But prayer is not designed to override law. Prayer aligns you with law. It does not cancel it. Elohiym will not violate his principles to prove his love. He already proved his love at the cross. From that point forward, he requires responsibility.

Hoshea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Not lack of prayer, not lack of church attendance—lack of knowledge. And knowledge begins in the mind.

Let me say something very strong but very true. Elohiym does not override mindsets. He invites renewal.

That is why Romaiym 12:2 is critical. It says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” NOTICE, TRANSFORMATION IS NOT automatic. It is conditional. It requires cooperation. Elohiym supplies truth. You must adopt it. Elohiym supplies principles. You must submit to them.

Your mindset determines what you see, and what you see determines what you pursue. If your mindset is limited, your vision will be limited. If your mindset is fearful, your decisions will be defensive. If your mindset is undisciplined, your life will be chaotic.

Yahusha said, “The lamp of the body is the eye. If your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.” Mattithyahu 6:22. That is not about eyesight. That is about perception. PERCEPTION IS MINDSET.

This is why people repeat years. They keep changing activities while keeping the same government. You changed jobs but kept the same mindset. You changed relationships but kept the same thinking. You changed cities but carried the same beliefs. And then you’re surprised when the results follow you. But your life is loyal to your mindset. It will obey it faithfully.

I want you to understand this: whoever controls your thinking controls your future. If fear governs your mind, fear will govern your decisions. If culture governs your mind, culture will define your limits. If truth governs your mind, then truth will shape your destiny.

Yahusha said, “Why do you call me Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say?” Luqas 6:46. Calling him Lord means nothing if his principles do not govern your thinking.

This is why the kingdom of Elohiym is not just a belief system. It is a thinking system. Kingdom citizens think differently. They interpret crisis differently. They respond to pressure differently. They manage resources differently. And until you allow your mindset to come under the government of the kingdom, you will continue to live like a citizen of this world while claiming heaven.

So hear me clearly. Your future is not ahead of you. It is inside you. It is locked inside your thinking waiting for renewal. And until the government of your mind changes, no new year will ever be new.

Now that you understand the power of mindset, we must identify the specific mindsets that sabotage progress because there are certain ways of thinking that guarantee repetition.

Now that you understand that mindset is the government of the life, we must confront the real enemies of progress. These are not demons, not witches, not governments, not systems. These are mindsets—ways of thinking that quietly sabotage destiny.

I want you to listen carefully because these mindsets are respectable, popular, and socially accepted. Yet, they are deadly to your future. If any one of these governs your thinking, you are guaranteed to repeat the same year no matter how much you pray.

One, the victim mindset. The first mindset that guarantees repetition is the victim mindset. This is the mindset that believes life happens to you instead of being shaped by you. Victims see themselves as powerless, disadvantaged, and dependent on external rescue. They are always waiting for someone else to change so their life can improve. The victim mindset says, “If my parents were different, I would be better.” It says if the economy improves, then I will succeed. It says, “If the government helps me, I will advance.”

But the kingdom says something entirely different. The Bible says, “Let us make man in our image and let them have dominion.” Bere’shiyth 1:26. Dominion means responsibility, not blame. Dominion means authority, not excuses. Kingdom citizens do not wait for permission to grow. They take responsibility for stewardship.

Victims are dangerous because they outsource responsibility. They blame systems, leaders, bosses, culture, and even Elohiym. But Scripture says, “Each one shall give account of himself to Elohiym.” Romaiym 14:12. You will not give an account for the economy. You will not give an account for your upbringing. You will give an account for what you did with what you were given.

The victim mindset keeps people praying for deliverance when Elohiym is demanding development. But the Bible never says the righteous shall be rescued by pity. It says the diligent hand will rule. Mishlei 12:24. Rulers are never victims. Slaves think like victims. Citizens think like governors. And until you abandon the victim mindset, Elohiym will not promote you because promotion requires responsibility.

Two, the entitlement mindset. The second mindset that guarantees a repeat year is the entitlement mindset. This mindset believes you deserve more than you are prepared to manage. It says, “I deserve success. I deserve wealth. I deserve a better life,” but it refuses the discipline required to sustain those things.

Entitlement is dangerous because it confuses desire with qualification. Wanting something does not mean you are ready for it. The kingdom does not respond to need. It responds to capacity.

Yahusha said in Luqas 16:10, “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much.” Faithfulness precedes fullness. Management precedes increase.

The entitlement mindset wants the crown without the cross, the harvest without the planting, the promotion without the preparation. But Elohiym does not reward desire. He rewards stewardship. The Bible says, “To whom much is given, much will be required.” Luqas 12:48. If you cannot manage little, more will destroy you.

This is why some prayers are unanswered. Not because Elohiym is unfaithful, but because he is wise. He will not give you what you are asking for if it will expose your lack of discipline. Increase without maturity is dangerous. Wealth without wisdom is lethal. Authority without character is destructive. And Elohiym loves you too much to promote you into self-destruction.

Three, the procrastination mindset. The third mindset that guarantees repetition is the procrastination mindset. This mindset always says later. “Later I will change. Later I will start. Later I will discipline myself. Later I will obey Elohiym.”

But later is a lie. Later is the enemy of destiny. Procrastination is not a time problem. It is a leadership problem. It is the refusal to act when truth is known.

The Bible says, “To him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.” Ya`aqov 4:17. Sin is not only doing wrong, it is delaying right. Delayed obedience is disobedience in slow motion.

The procrastination mindset keeps people spiritually informed but practically stagnant. They attend seminars, watch videos, read books, take notes, but never execute. Knowledge accumulates, but transformation never happens.

Yahusha warned about this when he said, “Everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.” Mattithyahu 7:26. The problem was not hearing. The problem was delay.

Elohiym operates in timing. Qoheleth says, “To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven.” When you miss the time, you miss the opportunity. Procrastination causes seasons to pass unused. And when a season passes, it does not repeat. You may get another opportunity, but it will demand a higher price.

So hear me clearly. Victimhood weakens you. Entitlement deceives you. And procrastination paralyzes you. Any one of these mindsets will trap you in repetition. And until they are removed, no new year will be new.

But now comes the most important question: if these mindsets are so destructive, why does Elohiym allow people to remain stuck in them? Why does he permit repetition?

Now, this is where many people become confused, discouraged, and sometimes offended. They ask, “If Elohiym is good, if Elohiym is loving, if Elohiym is powerful, then why does he allow me to keep going through the same thing?”

That question reveals something important. We have misunderstood the role of Elohiym in human progress. Elohiym is not a magician. He is a governor. And governors rule by laws, not by emotions.

Let me say this carefully because it will set many of you free. Elohiym allows repetition because repetition is a teacher. Elohiym does not repeat lessons to punish you. He repeats lessons to protect you. He will not advance you into a future you are not mentally prepared to manage. Promotion without preparation is destruction. And Elohiym is more committed to your preservation than to your comfort.

The Bible gives us one of the clearest examples of this in the life of Yashar’el. Scripture says that it was an 11-day journey from Mitsrayim to the promised land, yet it took 40 years.

Now, let me ask you a question. Did Elohiym lose his power in the wilderness? Did the clouds stop moving? Did the manna stop falling? No. The problem was not Elohiym’s ability. The problem was the people’s mentality. Elohiym removed them from Mitsrayim, but Mitsrayim never left them. They kept thinking like slaves while walking toward promise. They complained under pressure. They longed for captivity when responsibility became uncomfortable.

And Elohiym said something very revealing in Devariym 8. He said he led them in the wilderness to humble you, to test you, to know what was in your heart. Not because Elohiym lacked information, but because they lacked awareness.

Repetition exposes mindset. Here is a powerful kingdom principle you must understand: Elohiym does not promote people who have not mastered their current lesson. Heaven does not reward familiarity. It rewards obedience. You cannot graduate from a class you refuse to learn.

And Elohiym will keep you in the environment necessary for your development until the lesson produces transformation. This is why some of you feel like you are stuck. You are not stuck. You are being taught. And the lesson will not end until your thinking changes.

Elohiym is not impressed by how long you have been praying about something. He is looking for whether you have adjusted your behavior to align with truth. The Bible says if you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land. Yeshayahu 1:19. Notice it does not say willing or obedient. Desire without action is insufficient.

Let me say something that may challenge your theology. Elohiym is more interested in who you are becoming than in what you are receiving. Blessings are not the goal. Maturity is, because immature people misuse blessings.

That is why Yahusha said, “I have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.” Yochanan 16:12. Truth has weight, and if your mindset is weak, truth can crush you.

Repetition continues because Elohiym refuses to compromise his laws to satisfy your impatience. Galatiym 6:7 says, “Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” Elohiym did not write that to threaten you. He wrote it to protect you.

Laws are predictable. They are consistent. And when you violate them, the outcome is certain. Elohiym will allow you to experience that outcome until you respect the law.

This is why Elohiym often allows frustration. Frustration is not an enemy. It is a signal. It is life’s way of telling you that your current method is insufficient. Wise people respond to frustration by adjusting their thinking. Foolish people respond by complaining.

Mishlei 29:1 says, “He who is often rebuked and hardens his neck will suddenly be destroyed and that without remedy.” Stubbornness extends cycles.

Let me make this very clear. Elohiym is not withholding your future. He is waiting for your alignment. Heaven is ready. Resources are available. Opportunities exist. But Elohiym will not release what you are unprepared to manage. He loves you too much to promote you into collapse. So he allows repetition not to harm you but to save you.

Now here is the good news. The moment your thinking changes, the cycle breaks. The moment you learn the lesson, the season shifts. When the student is ready, advancement is inevitable. Elohiym does not delay deliverance. Ignorance does. And once truth is understood and applied, Elohiym moves quickly.

That is why we must now talk about the alternative. If repetition is the result of destructive mindsets, then progress must be the product of kingdom thinking. And that is what we’re about to explore.

Now we come to the turning point of this teaching because Elohiym never exposes error without offering truth. He never reveals darkness without presenting light.

If repetition is the fruit of destructive mindsets, then progress is the product of kingdom thinking. And I want you to listen carefully because the kingdom of Elohiym is not a religious concept. It is a thinking system. Until you adopt the mindset of the kingdom, you will continue to live like a citizen of the world while claiming heaven.

Yahusha never told people to join a church. He told them to enter a kingdom. And a kingdom is defined as the influence of a king over a territory through laws, principles, and systems. That means when you become a kingdom citizen, your thinking must come under new government. You cannot live a kingdom life with a worldly mindset.

That is why Yahusha said, “My kingdom is not of this world.” Yochanan 18:36. It is not from this system. It operates by higher laws.

Let me give you the first kingdom replacement mindset because without this nothing else will work.

The first is responsibility over blame. Kingdom citizens take responsibility for their lives. They do not blame people, systems, or circumstances. They understand that dominion begins with self-government.

Bere’shiyth 1:28 says, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and subdue it.” Notice Elohiym did not say, “Complain about the earth.” He said, “Subdue it.” Subduing requires responsibility. You cannot rule what you refuse to take responsibility for.

Responsibility means you stop asking, “Why did this happen to me?” and start asking, “What must I learn from this?”

The Bible says work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Pilipiym 2:12. That does not mean earn your salvation. It means manage your life. Kingdom citizens understand that life responds to leadership and leadership begins with self.

The second kingdom mindset is stewardship over ownership. This is critical. The world teaches ownership: “This is mine.” The kingdom teaches stewardship: “This was entrusted to me.”

Tehilliym 24:1 says, “The earth is Yahuah’s and everything in it.” That means nothing you have truly belongs to you: your time, your gifts, your resources, your opportunities—they are entrusted, not owned.

Why is this important? Because ownership produces pride, but stewardship produces accountability. When you understand stewardship, you stop wasting resources. You stop mismanaging time. You stop treating money carelessly.

Yahusha said, “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” Luqas 16:10. Increase follows stewardship, not desire. Elohiym releases more only when he sees management.

This is why some people never move forward. They pray for increase but abuse what they already have. They want more money but mismanage their income. They want greater responsibility but neglect current assignments. Elohiym will never give you what you ask for if it will expose your lack of discipline. He is too wise for that.

The third kingdom mindset is discipline over motivation. This may be the most misunderstood principle in our generation. Motivation is emotional. Discipline is governmental. Motivation comes and goes. Discipline remains.

The Bible says a disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher. Luqas 6:40. Discipline is training. It is the daily submission of your desires to your purpose.

Kingdom citizens do not wait to feel like doing what is right. They do what is right because it is right.

Pa’al said, “I discipline my body and bring it into subjection.” Qorintiym Ri’shon 9:27. Notice he did not say he prayed for discipline. He practiced it. Discipline is self-leadership. And without self-leadership, you cannot lead anything else.

When responsibility governs your thinking, stewardship shapes your behavior, and discipline structures your life. Repetition loses its power. Cycles break. Progress begins. And suddenly the year does not control you—you govern it.

This is what it means to live as a kingdom citizen. You stop drifting through time and start managing it.

Let me say this with clarity and authority. A new year is produced by a new government in the mind. When kingdom principles replace worldly thinking, the future changes automatically.

You do not have to chase success. Success follows order. You do not have to beg for progress. Progress responds to alignment.

And now that we have established the kingdom alternative, we must address a painful reality: why most people still fail early even after hearing truth. Because knowing truth is not enough. You must build systems that protect it.

Now this is where truth becomes uncomfortable because information without implementation is deception. Many people hear powerful messages, shout amen, take notes, and still fail within weeks. And the question is not whether they heard truth. The question is why truth did not hold them.

The answer is simple. Truth that is not systematized will be forgotten. March is not the problem. Motivation is not the problem. The problem is that most people try to build a future on emotion instead of structure. Emotion is unstable. Feelings fluctuate. But the kingdom of Elohiym is built on order.

The Bible says, “For Elohiym is not the author of confusion, but of peace.” Qorintiym Ri’shon 14:33. Where there is no order, peace cannot remain. And where peace is absent, discipline collapses.

Most people fail in March because they confuse intention with execution. They set goals without systems. They make resolutions without structure. They declare change without design.

But Elohiym never commands transformation without providing a framework.

When Elohiym wanted to create the earth, he did not say, “Let there be something.” He said, “Let there be light,” and he separated light from darkness. Separation is system. Order preceded beauty.

Let me say this clearly. Goals do not govern behavior. Systems do. You can want to wake up early, but if you sleep late, desire will not rescue you. You can want financial freedom, but if you do not manage money, intention will not protect you.

Mishlei 16:3 says, “Commit your works to Yahuah and your plans will be established.” Notice it does not say commit your dreams. It says commit your works. Works are structured actions.

Another reason people fail early is because they rely on willpower. Willpower is weak. It is emotional energy, and emotional energy depletes. Yahusha never taught willpower. He taught discipline.

He said, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.” Luqas 9:23. Daily. That is system language. Cross-carrying is not an event. It is a routine.

Many people also fail because they do not build accountability into their lives. Isolation weakens resolve.

The Bible says two are better than one, for if they fall, one will lift up his companion. Qoheleth 4:9–10. Kingdom citizens do not walk alone. They submit themselves to structures that protect consistency. Pride says, “I can do this myself.” Wisdom says, “I need structure.”

Let me address another reason for March failure: lack of measurement. If you do not measure progress, you cannot manage growth. Elohiym is a God of measurement. The Bible is full of numbers, counts, seasons, weights, and measures. Yahusha counted loaves and fishes. Elohiym counted Yashar’el. He measured the temple. Why? Because measurement produces accountability. Whatever you do not measure, you will eventually neglect.

Here is the danger. People expect supernatural results from unsupervised lives. But Elohiym does not bless disorder. He does not reward chaos.

Amoc 3:3 says, “Can two walk together unless they are agreed?” Agreement requires alignment. Alignment requires order. And order requires systems.

So hear me carefully. March failure is not about lack of motivation. It is about lack of order. When truth enters a disorganized life, it leaks out.

That is why Yahusha said the seed fell on different kinds of ground. The seed was perfect, but the soil determines the outcome. Your mindset may be renewed, but if your life is unstructured, the harvest will be choked.

This is why kingdom living demands more than inspiration. It demands intentional design. You must build systems that protect obedience when feelings fade. And once systems are in place, discipline becomes easier, not harder.

Now that we understand why people fail early, we must answer the next critical question. What does a kingdom-structured year actually look like? How do you govern time instead of being ruled by it?

Now we must move from understanding to administration because the kingdom of Elohiym is not only about revelation. It is about government. Revelation without administration produces frustration. Knowledge without structure produces confusion.

And Elohiym never intended his people to drift through time hoping things improve. He designed us to govern time, not be ruled by it.

Let me say this clearly. A year must be governed or it will govern you. Time is a resource, and like all resources, it responds to management.

Tehilliym 90:12 says, “So teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Numbering days is not counting birthdays. It is intentional allocation. Wise people assign purpose to time. Foolish people react to it.

The kingdom governance plan begins with the first and most critical step: clarity of assignment. You cannot govern what you do not understand. Purpose is the foundation of order. When you do not know why you exist, you misuse your time.

Mishlei 19:21 says, “Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is Yahuah’s purpose that prevails.” Purpose is not what you want to do. It is what you were designed to do. And until purpose is clear, discipline will feel like punishment instead of protection.

When your assignment is clear, the next step is priority. Priority is the practical expression of purpose. Everything cannot be important.

Yahusha understood this. That is why he said, “Seek first the kingdom of Elohiym and his righteousness.” Mattithyahu 6:33. First means first. Priority brings order.

Without priority, life becomes reactionary. You spend your days responding instead of ruling.

Now, here is where most people fail. They do not establish non-negotiables. Kingdom citizens live by standards, not moods. A non-negotiable is something you do regardless of how you feel.

Daniy’el prayed three times a day, not because it was convenient, but because it was disciplined. Yahusha withdrew to pray early in the morning, not when he felt inspired, but because it was his system.

Your non-negotiables must govern your year. Sleep is a non-negotiable. Learning is a non-negotiable. Discipline is a non-negotiable. Integrity is a non-negotiable.

The Bible says, “The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance.” Mishlei 21:5. Diligence is consistency governed by principle.

Next comes systems. Systems are the invisible structures that protect visible progress. A system is simply a repeatable process that produces predictable results. Elohiym himself operates by systems. The seasons are a system. Seedtime and harvest are a system. Day and night are a system.

And he says in Bere’shiyth 8:22, “As long as the earth remains, seedtime and harvest shall not cease.” Why? Because systems sustain life.

You must build systems for your time, your finances, your growth, and your relationships. Without systems, discipline collapses under pressure. Systems remove the burden of constant decision-making. When systems are in place, obedience becomes automatic.

Another essential component of governance is measurement. What you do not measure, you cannot manage. Elohiym measures everything. He weighs hearts. He counts steps. He records deeds.

Yahusha asks, “Which of you wanting to build a tower does not first sit down and count the cost?” Luqas 14:28. Counting is kingdom language. Measurement keeps you honest. Measurement exposes drift before disaster.

You must review your life regularly—weekly, monthly, quarterly—not emotionally, but objectively. Ask: what improved, what declined, what must change?

The Bible says, “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith.” Qorintiym Sheniy 13:5. Self-examination is not condemnation. It is governance.

And finally, every governed year requires adjustment. Flexibility is not compromise. It is wisdom. The kingdom is stable, but methods can change.

Pa’al said, “I become all things to all men that by all means I might save some.” Qorintiym Ri’shon 9:22. Adjustment keeps purpose intact while adapting strategy.

Let me summarize this for you because this is important. Purpose defines direction. Priority establishes order. Non-negotiables create discipline. Systems protect consistency. Measurement ensures accountability. Adjustment sustains progress. This is not motivation. This is government.

And when a year is governed, repetition breaks. Progress becomes normal. Growth becomes predictable.

But there is one more critical factor that determines whether this governance will succeed or fail. You can have the right plan and still collapse if you remain in the wrong environment.

Now listen to me very carefully because this principle will save you years of frustration. Many people fail not because they lack desire and not because they lack discipline, but because they underestimate the power of environment.

And I want to say this plainly: environment is stronger than willpower. If you do not understand this law, you will continue to blame yourself for failures that were structurally guaranteed.

Let me define environment because definition brings authority. Environment is the collection of influences, people, conversations, habits, systems, and inputs that shape your thinking and behavior daily. Environment is not just where you live. It is what you allow around your mind. And whatever surrounds you eventually shapes you.

The Bible teaches this law clearly. Qorintiym Ri’shon 15:33 says, “Do not be deceived. Evil company corrupts good habits.” Notice it says, “Do not be deceived.” That means many people are deceived about this issue. They believe they are strong enough to resist their environment. But Elohiym says corruption is automatic when the environment is wrong. You do not have to plan to be influenced. Influence happens naturally.

This is why Yahusha did not leave his disciples in the crowd. He separated them. He changed their environment. He knew that transformation requires isolation before impact.

Elohiym always changes environment before he changes assignment. Abram had to leave his father’s house. Yoceph had to leave his brothers. Mosheh had to leave Mitsrayim. Yahusha had to leave Natsareth. Environment precedes elevation.

Here is the mistake many people make. They try to grow while staying comfortable. But comfort is hostile to change. Familiar environments protect old thinking.

That is why Yahusha said, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.” Mattithyahu 13:57. Familiarity breeds limitation. People who know the old you struggle to support the new you.

Let me say this clearly. If you stay in the same environment, you will require supernatural effort to produce natural results. But Elohiym does not design life to be sustained by struggle. He designs it to respond to alignment.

When environment is right, discipline becomes easier. When environment is wrong, even strong willpower eventually collapses.

This is why dieting fails in a house full of junk food. This is why spiritual growth fails in an environment of constant negativity. This is why financial discipline fails when surrounded by reckless spenders.

The Bible says, “He who walks with the wise will become wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed.” Mishlei 13:20. Notice it does not say you might become wise. It says you will. Environment guarantees outcome.

Kingdom citizens are intentional about environment. They guard what they listen to. They choose what they watch. They filter conversations. They are careful about who speaks into their lives.

Mishlei 4:24 says, “Put away from you a deceitful mouth and put perverse lips far from you.” Why? Because words shape thoughts, and thoughts shape futures.

Some of you are praying for change, but you are still feeding your old mindset daily. You are still listening to fear, gossip, negativity, and doubt. And then you wonder why faith is weak.

But faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Elohiym. If faith comes by hearing, then fear also comes by hearing. What you hear consistently becomes what you believe unconsciously.

Let me say something that may sound harsh, but it is true. Elohiym will not change your environment for you. He expects you to manage it. Stewardship includes stewardship of relationships, information, and influences.

If something drains your discipline, weakens your faith, or undermines your purpose, it is not neutral. It is dangerous.

This is why Yahusha said, “If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off.” Mattithyahu 5:30. He was not talking about body parts. He was talking about influences. Remove what destroys progress. That is not hatred. That is wisdom. That is kingdom self-government.

Until your environment aligns with your purpose, your progress will be inconsistent. But when environment changes, momentum increases. Growth becomes natural. Discipline becomes sustainable. And suddenly what once felt impossible becomes normal.

So understand this law. You do not rise by effort alone. You rise by alignment. Align your environment with your assignment and your year will no longer resist you. It will cooperate with you.

Now we are approaching the conclusion of this teaching because there is one final adjustment that must be made. Many people still misunderstand hope, faith, and preparation. And until this confusion is corrected, they will continue to wait when they should be governing.

Now, as we approach the end of this teaching, I must correct one of the most misunderstood concepts in the body of Hamachiach. Many people are entering new seasons with hope. But hope without preparation is dangerous. Hope is good, but hope alone is insufficient.

The Bible says, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for.” Ivriym 11:1. Hope is expectation, but faith is alignment. Hope looks forward. Faith builds structure.

Too many people are hoping things will change instead of governing their lives, so change becomes “inevitable.” Hope without authority produces waiting. Authority produces results.

Yahusha never hoped storms would calm down. He commanded them. Why? Because authority does not beg. Authority governs. And kingdom citizens were never designed to live by wishful thinking. They were designed to rule.

Let me say this clearly. Elohiym does not reward hope. He responds to order. Hope says, “I believe things will get better.” Authority says, “I have aligned my life with the laws that produce better.”

The Bible says, “Prepare your minds for action. Be self-controlled.” Kepha Ri’shon 1:13. Preparation is proof of faith. If you believe tomorrow will be better, you prepare today accordingly.

Entering 2026 with authority means you do not carry unresolved disorder with you. You clean up your finances. You structure your time. You discipline your habits. You align your relationships.

Authority is not spiritual noise. It is practical obedience.

Yahusha said, “Why do you call me Lord, Lord, and do not do the things which I say?” Luqas 6:46. Lordship without obedience is contradiction.

Kingdom authority begins with self-government. Before you can command outcomes, you must command yourself.

Pa’al said, “I discipline my body and bring it into subjection.” Qorintiym Ri’shon 9:27. Subjection is authority language. When your appetites are governed, your future becomes stable. When your habits are ordered, your destiny accelerates.

Do not misunderstand me. I am not saying hope is useless. Hope is necessary. But hope must be mixed with structure, discipline, and obedience.

The Bible says, “The hope of the righteous will be gladness.” Mishlei 10:28. Why? Because the righteous live by principle. They align with law. Their hope is not fantasy. It is expectation rooted in order.

So as you prepare to enter a new year, do not ask Elohiym to bless confusion. Do not ask him to increase chaos. Do not ask him to reward inconsistency. Instead, bring your life under kingdom government. When your life is governed, heaven cooperates.

Now I want to conclude this teaching the way it must be concluded—with truth, responsibility, and a decision—because revelation without response is condemnation.

Yahusha said, “To whom much is given, much is required.” Luqas 12:48. You are now responsible for what you have heard.

Let me restate the central message one final time because this must settle in your spirit. If you carry the same mindset into 2026, you will repeat the same year. Not because Elohiym failed you, not because Satan overpowered you, but because laws were ignored, and laws do not bend for sincerity.

This is the moment of decision—not emotion, not excitement—decision.

Yahusha stood before Yashar’el and said, “Choose this day whom you will serve.” Yahusha 24:15. Choice determines destiny.

You must decide what ends now so something new can begin. You must decide what habits die, what excuses stop, what environments change, what disciplines begin.

Elohiym is ready. Heaven is prepared. Resources exist. Opportunities are present. But Elohiym will not violate your will to fulfill your destiny. He will not force discipline on you. He will not override your thinking. He invites you to change.

The Bible says, “See, I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore choose life.” Devariym 30:19. Life is a choice. Progress is a choice. Growth is a choice. Repetition is also a choice.

Let me leave you with this final kingdom declaration, and I want you to remember it long after this message ends:

The future does not respond to wishes. The future responds to laws. And when laws are honored, destiny is inevitable.

If you govern your mind, structure your life, align your environment, and submit to kingdom principles, you will not repeat another year again. YOU WILL ADVANCE NOT BECAUSE OF TIME but because of truth.
