Romans chapter 12
Today we are walking in: KILL YOUR NEGATIVE THINKING
1 Chronicles 28:9
And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind H3824: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.
MIND
Today we look to the word-MIND-H3824 lebab--mind, knowledge, thinking, reflection, memory
The Torah testifies...............
Genesis 23:8
And he communed with them, saying, If it be your mind H3824 that I should bury my dead out of my sight; hear me, and intreat for me to Ephron the son of Zohar,

And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind H3824.
The prophets proclaim..................
Isaiah 26:3

Ezekiel 11:5
And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the Lord; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind H3824, every one of them.

Then shall his mind H3824 change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.
The writings bear witness..........................

Job 34:33
Should it be according to thy mind H3824? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.
KILL YOUR NEGATIVE THINKING
You have the power within you to change your life right now, at this very moment. You possess an incredible ability: the ability to choose your thoughts. And that choice is the key to unlocking your full potential.
Negative thinking is a thief. It steals your joy, robs you of opportunities, and keeps you trapped in a cycle of self-doubt and fear. But today we are going to put an end to that. We are going to kill negative thinking once and for all.
How many times have you talked yourself out of pursuing your dreams? How often have you let that little voice in your head tell you that you’re not good enough, smart enough, or talented enough? That voice is a liar, and it’s time to silence it.
Your mind is like a garden. The thoughts you plant and nurture are the ones that will grow. If you constantly feed yourself negative thoughts, that is exactly what you will reap in your life. But if you choose to plant seeds of positivity and self-belief, you will harvest a life beyond your wildest dreams.
This is not about ignoring reality or pretending challenges do not exist. It’s about choosing how you respond to those challenges. It’s about recognizing that you have the strength within you to overcome any obstacle.
Let me tell you a story.
There was once a young man who grew up in poverty. He had every reason to believe that life was unfair and that success was for other people, not for him. But he made a choice. He decided that his circumstances would not define him.
He chose to believe in his potential. He chose to focus on opportunities rather than obstacles. Day by day, he worked on his mindset. When negative thoughts crept in, he didn’t just push them away — he replaced them with positive affirmations. He surrounded himself with people who believed in him. He read books that inspired him. He set goals and worked tirelessly toward them.
Today, that young man is a successful entrepreneur, a loving father, and a pillar of his community. He didn’t get there by magic. He got there by killing negative thinking and nurturing a mindset of growth and possibility.
You have that same power within you.
You can rewrite your story starting today. But it requires action. It requires commitment. It requires you to be vigilant about the thoughts you allow to take root in your mind.
So how do we do it?
First, become aware of your thoughts. Most of us go through life on autopilot, letting our thoughts run wild without ever examining them. Start paying attention to the voice in your head. What is it saying? Is it encouraging you, or tearing you down?
Once you’re aware of your thoughts, challenge them. When a negative thought pops up, ask yourself: Is this really true? What evidence do I have to support this thought? More often than not, you’ll find that your negative thoughts are based on fear and insecurity, not on facts.
Next, replace those negative thoughts with positive ones. This isn’t about lying to yourself. It’s about choosing to focus on what is possible, on your strengths, on your capacity to grow.
Instead of “I’m not smart enough,” say, “I have valuable skills and I can learn what I need.”
Instead of “I can’t,” say, “How can I?”
Instead of “It’s too hard,” say, “This is challenging, and I am becoming stronger.”
Your brain believes what you tell it. If you feed it negative messages, it will look for evidence to confirm them. If you feed it positive, empowering messages, it will seek evidence to support those instead.
Gratitude is another powerful tool. It’s hard to feel negative when you’re focused on what you’re thankful for. Make it a daily practice to list at least three things you appreciate. This trains your brain to look for what is good.
Your language shapes your reality. Words have power. They can lift you or limit you. Pay attention to how you speak — to yourself and to others.
Surround yourself with positivity. The people you spend time with, the content you consume, the conversations you engage in — all of these influence your mindset. Choose environments that support growth.
Life is not always easy. You cannot control everything that happens, but you can always control how you respond. Even in suffering, you have the freedom to choose your attitude.
Visualization is powerful. When you imagine success vividly, your brain begins to work toward it. Take time to picture yourself achieving your goals.
Care for your body. Rest. Eat well. Move your body. A healthy body supports a healthy mind.
Set goals. Clear goals give direction. They give you something positive to move toward.
Find your purpose. Purpose gives meaning to struggle. Purpose fuels perseverance.
Forgive. Holding resentment poisons you. Forgiveness frees you.
Take action. Thinking alone is not enough. Action builds momentum.
Embrace failure as feedback. Learn from it. Grow from it.
Stop comparing yourself to others. You are on your own journey.
Reframe difficulties. Look for what they are teaching you.
Care for yourself. Protect your energy. Set boundaries.
Develop resilience. Each challenge strengthens you.
Shape your environment. Create spaces that support peace and clarity.
Practice mindfulness. You are not your thoughts — you observe your thoughts.
Celebrate small wins.
Keep learning. Growth feeds confidence.
Serve others. Service lifts your spirit.
Understand that your brain can change. You can rewire it through consistent thought and action.
Use affirmations. Speak life into yourself.
Develop emotional awareness.
Release perfectionism. Aim for progress, not flawlessness.
Accept what is, so you can change what you can.
Stay curious.
Manage your energy.
Choose your social circle wisely.
Journal.
Laugh.
Trust yourself.
Practice self-compassion.
Visualize often.
Embrace uncertainty.
Negative thoughts will still come, but they no longer control you.
You have the power to choose your thoughts.
You have the power to shape your reality.
You have the power to build a life filled with purpose, peace, and possibility.
