YOU’RE NOT LOST, YOU’RE UNALIGNED PART 2

Jeremiah chapter 29

Today we are walking in: YOU’RE NOT LOST, YOU’RE UNALIGNED PART 2

Habakkuk 1:11

Then shall his mind change H2015, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.

CHANGE

Today we look to the word- CHANGE- H2015- haphak- a primitive root; to turn about or over; by implication, to change, overturn, return, pervert:—become, change, come, be converted, give, make (a bed), overthrow overturn), perverse, retire, tumble, turn (again, aside, back, to the contrary, every way).

The Torah Testifies…………….

Genesis 35:2

Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that werewith him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change H2015 your garments:

Leviticus 27:10

He shall not alter it, nor change H2015 it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change H2015 beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy.

Leviticus 27:33

He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change H2015 it: and if he change H2015 it at all, then both it and the change H2015 thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.

The Prophets Proclaim………

Jeremiah 2:36

Why gaddest thou about so much to change H2015 thy way? thou also shalt be ashamed of Egypt, as thou wast ashamed of Assyria.

Zechariah 3:4

And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change H2015 of raiment.

Malachi 3:6

For I am the LORD, I change H2015 not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

The Writings witness……………

Job 14:14

If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change H2015 come.

Psalm 102:26

They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change H2015 them, and they shall be changed:

Proverbs 24:21

My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change H2015:

Now listen carefully, because this is where confusion either leaves your life or settles in permanently.

Words control thinking, and thinking controls living.

If you use the wrong definitions, you will always pursue the wrong outcomes.

The greatest enemy of clarity is not ignorance. It is wrong information.

Yahusha said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

That means freedom is connected to accuracy, not sincerity.

Accuracy.

So let us define these three words, not according to culture, not according to religion, not according to motivational speakers, but according to Kingdom truth.

And I want you to listen slowly because I am going to repeat these definitions until they settle in your ruach.

First: purpose.

Purpose is the original intent of the Creator for the creation.

Purpose answers the question why.

Why you exist.

Why you were born.

Why you are here at this time in history.

Purpose is not what you do.

Purpose is why you were designed.

Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says YAHUAH, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Notice Elohiym had thoughts about you before you had thoughts about yourself.

Those thoughts are purpose.

Purpose is fixed.

Purpose never changes.

Purpose existed before you arrived.

And purpose does not need your approval to exist.

Whether you cooperate with it or not, purpose remains.

That is why Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 14:27 says, “For YAHUAH Tseva’oth has purposed, and who will annul it?”

You cannot cancel what Elohiym designed.

You can only choose whether to participate.

Let me say it again because this is important.

Purpose is why.

Purpose is the reason for existence.

Purpose is the problem you were born to solve.

Purpose is what Elohiym wanted when He thought of you.

Second: calling.

Calling is not purpose.

Calling is the assignment given to fulfill purpose.

Calling answers the question what.

What you are sent to do.

What role you play.

What function you carry.

Calling is not a feeling.

Calling is not a goosebump.

Calling is not excitement.

Calling is responsibility.

The Cepher says in Romaiym (Romans) 11:29, “For the gifts and the calling of Elohiym are irrevocable.”

That means calling is not based on your performance.

It is based on Elohiym’s intention.

But calling can be delayed.

Calling can be ignored.

Calling can be abused.

Calling can even be resisted.

Yonah (Jonah) was called, but he ran.

Mosheh was called, but he argued.

Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) was called, but he complained.

Yet the call remained.

Calling is the assignment through which your purpose is expressed.

Purpose may be singular, but calling may have multiple expressions.

The same purpose can be expressed through different callings in different seasons.

Purpose is constant.

Calling is progressive.

Purpose answers why.

Calling answers what.

Now hear this clearly.

Your calling will always involve serving others.

Calling is never about self-promotion.

It is about contribution.

Yahusha said in Mark 10:45, “For even the Son of Adam did not come to be served, but to serve.”

If your so-called calling makes you arrogant, isolated, or self-centered, it is not from Elohiym.

Third: destiny.

Destiny is the outcome of living faithfully in purpose through calling over time.

Destiny answers the question where.

Where your obedience leads.

Where your life arrives if you remain aligned.

Destiny is not a dream.

It is a destination.

Destiny is not a prophecy you sit on.

It is a future you walk into by discipline.

Let me say this plainly.

Destiny is not automatic.

Purpose is automatic.

Calling is issued.

Destiny is earned through obedience.

Ivriym (Hebrews) 12:1 says we must run with endurance the race that is set before us.

The race is set, but you must run it.

Destiny is the result of consistency, character, and commitment to assignment.

So let me put these three together in a way you will never forget.

Purpose is why you exist.

Calling is what you are assigned to do.

Destiny is what your life becomes if you obey.

Say it in your ruach:

Why.

What.

Where.

Purpose: why.

Calling: what.

Destiny: where.

Now here is the tragedy.

Many people pursue destiny without clarity of purpose.

They want the destination without understanding the design.

They want the promise without the process.

They want the reward without the responsibility.

And Elohiym is saying, “You cannot arrive at a place you are not aligned for.”

This is why Mishlei (Proverbs) 16:9 says, “A man’s heart plans his way, but YAHUAH directs his steps.”

Steps imply process.

Direction implies submission.

Destiny unfolds one obedient step at a time.

Let me warn you of something dangerous.

You can be gifted and still be out of calling.

Gift is not calling.

Talent is not purpose.

Ability is not destiny.

Gift makes things easy.

Calling makes things necessary.

Gift attracts applause.

Calling attracts opposition.

Destiny is not impressed by talent.

It responds to obedience.

This is why Yahusha said, “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Adonai, Adonai, did we not prophesy in Your name?’ And I will say, ‘I never knew you.’”

They had activity without alignment.

They had gifts without governance.

They moved powerfully but lived purposelessly.

My friend, Elohiym never called you to be impressive.

He called you to be effective.

And effectiveness comes only when purpose, calling, and destiny are aligned under the Kingdom of Elohiym.

So today, confusion ends.

No more mixing words.

No more chasing what Elohiym did not assign.

No more borrowing definitions from a culture that does not know your Creator.

From this moment forward, you will think in Kingdom terms.

You will live by Kingdom order.

And when you do, peace will replace frustration.

Focus will replace confusion.

And destiny will begin to unfold.

Now, my friends, if you truly want to understand purpose, calling, and destiny, you must shift your thinking from a religious mindset to a Kingdom mindset.

Because the Cepher is not primarily a religious book. It is a Kingdom book.

Yahusha never came preaching Christianity. He came preaching the Kingdom.

The Cepher says in Mattithyahu (Matthew) 4:17, “From that time Yahusha began to preach and to say, ‘Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.’”

Repent does not mean feel sorry.

It means change your mind.

Change how you think.

Change your worldview.

Change your reference point.

The greatest problem in the world today is not sin.

It is ignorance of the Kingdom.

Husha (Hosea) says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”

Not lack of prayer.

Not lack of worship.

Lack of knowledge.

Knowledge of what?

Knowledge of how the Kingdom works.

And until you understand the Kingdom, you will always misunderstand purpose.

Let me establish a principle.

In a kingdom, citizens do not choose their purpose.

Purpose flows from the King, not from the citizen.

In a democracy, people vote and choose their own direction.

In a kingdom, the King owns everything, including the citizens.

Tehilliym (Psalm) 24:1 says, “The earth is YAHUAH’s, and everything in it, the world and all who live in it.”

That settles ownership.

If Elohiym owns you, then Elohiym assigns you.

And if Elohiym assigns you, then your job is not to negotiate.

It is to obey.

This is where modern culture clashes with Kingdom truth.

Culture says, “Find yourself.”

The Kingdom says, “Deny yourself.”

Culture says, “Follow your passion.”

The Kingdom says, “Follow your assignment.”

Culture says, “Do what makes you happy.”

The Kingdom says, “Do what pleases the King.”

Yahusha said in Yochanon (John) 8:29, “I always do those things that please Him.”

Not what pleases the crowd.

Not what pleases His emotions.

What pleases the Father.

Now listen carefully.

Self-discovery in the Kingdom is not introspection.

It is revelation.

You do not look inward to find purpose.

You look upward.

You do not consult your feelings.

You consult the King.

Yahusha never woke up and said, “I feel like being the Mashiach today.”

He said, “The Son of Adam came to seek and to save that which was lost.”

That was His assignment.

Clear.

Defined.

Non-negotiable.

Let me say something strong but true.

Any life that is self-directed will eventually self-destruct, because you were never designed to govern yourself.

Independence is rebellion in a Kingdom.

The moment Adam decided to define good and evil for himself, the Kingdom collapsed on earth.

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 3 was not about fruit.

It was about authority.

Adam rejected Elohiym’s definition and chose self-rule.

And the result was chaos.

This is why the Cepher emphasizes Lordship.

Romaiym (Romans) 10:9 says, “If you confess with your mouth that Yahusha is Adonai…”

Adonai means owner, master, authority.

When you say Yahusha is Adonai, you are saying, “I surrender my right to self-definition.”

That is not popular preaching, but it is Kingdom truth.

Philippiym (Philippians) 3:20 says our citizenship is in heaven.

Citizens represent their government in a foreign territory.

That means earth is your assignment, not your source.

Heaven is your source.

Earth is your post.

You were sent here on official Kingdom business.

And until you ask, “What business am I here on?” you will waste time doing good things that are not Elohiym-things.

Let me make this practical.

Ambition without assignment is dangerous.

You can climb ladders Elohiym never built.

You can succeed in areas Elohiym never authorized.

And success outside of purpose is the most expensive form of failure.

Yahusha asked a question that should shake every ambitious person:

“What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul?”

In other words, what good is achievement if it costs you alignment?

Here is a Kingdom truth you must remember.

The King is responsible for the provision of anyone He assigns.

When the King sends you, the King funds you.

When the King assigns you, the King protects you.

Mattithyahu (Matthew) 6:33 is not poetry.

It is policy.

“Seek first the Kingdom and His righteousness, and everything else will be added.”

Citizens do not chase benefits.

Benefits chase citizens who stay aligned.

This is why Yahusha said, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me.”

He was nourished by obedience.

He was sustained by alignment.

He was fulfilled by assignment.

And my prayer for you is that you stop chasing things and start pursuing the King’s agenda.

So today, let this settle in your ruach:

You are not an owner.

You are a steward.

You are not self-made.

You are Elohiym-sent.

You are not here by accident.

You are here by assignment.

When that truth grips you, confusion leaves, comparison stops, competition dies, and purpose comes alive.

Now listen to me very carefully, because this is where many people lose decades of their lives.

This is one of the most subtle traps in existence, and it is especially dangerous because it looks spiritual.

Gift is not calling.

Ability is not assignment.

Talent is not purpose.

And if you confuse these, you will end up successful and still unfulfilled.

Let me say it again slowly so it settles in your ruach.

Your gift is what you can do.

Your calling is what you must do.

Gift gives you options.

Calling gives you obligation.

Gift makes things easy.

Calling makes things necessary.

Gift attracts applause.

Calling attracts responsibility—and often opposition.

The Cepher says in Romaiym (Romans) 12 that Elohiym has given gifts to every person.

Gifts are Elohiym-given abilities.

They are tools.

But tools do not determine purpose.

They serve purpose.

A hammer is powerful, but its power is meaningless unless it is used for what it was designed to accomplish.

In the same way, your gift is not your reason for existence.

It is merely the equipment Elohiym placed in you to fulfill your assignment.

Here is the danger.

You can be extremely gifted and completely out of alignment.

The Cepher is full of gifted people who were mispositioned.

Shimshon (Samson) was gifted with supernatural strength, but he was not disciplined.

Sha’ul (Saul) was gifted with leadership ability, but he was insecure.

Bil’am (Balaam) was gifted prophetically, but he was corrupt.

Yahudah (Judas) was gifted administratively, but he was unsubmissive.

Gifts impress people.

Character sustains destiny.

Yahusha Himself warned us about this in Mattithyahu (Matthew) 7.

He said, “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Adonai, Adonai, did we not prophesy in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and do many mighty works in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you.’”

Notice they were active, powerful, effective—but unknown relationally.

They had gifts without governance.

Activity without intimacy.

Power without alignment.

Let me say something strong.

Elohiym never called you to be impressive.

He called you to be effective.

And effectiveness is measured by impact, not applause.

The world celebrates visibility.

The Kingdom celebrates faithfulness.

The world rewards talent.

The Kingdom rewards obedience.

This is why some of the most gifted people are the most frustrated.

They are doing what they can do, not what they were sent to do.

They are using their abilities to chase affirmation instead of advancing assignment.

And Elohiym is saying, “I did not give you that gift so you could build your name. I gave you that gift so you could serve My purpose.”

Qorintiym Ri’shon (1 Corinthians) 12 makes it clear: gifts are given for the common good.

Not for ego.

Not for comparison.

Not for competition.

If your gift does not serve others, it is being abused.

And remember, when purpose is unknown, abuse is inevitable.

Let me make this very practical.

Some people are gifted speakers, so they assume their calling is to preach.

Some are gifted singers, so they assume their calling is the stage.

Some are gifted with numbers, so they assume their calling is wealth.

But gifting does not determine direction.

Purpose determines direction, and gift supports it.

Elohiym may give you a speaking gift so you can influence policy, educate nations, raise leaders, or defend truth—not necessarily to stand behind a pulpit.

Calling answers this question:

Who am I sent to serve, and what problem am I assigned to solve?

Until you can answer that, your gift will wander.

And a wandering gift produces exhaustion.

That is why Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 40 says, “They that wait upon YAHUAH shall renew their strength.”

Waiting does not mean inactivity.

It means alignment.

When you align your gift with your calling, strength returns.

Now hear this carefully.

Your gift can open doors that your character cannot keep you in.

That is why discipline is essential.

That is why submission matters.

That is why humility is not optional.

Destiny is not destroyed by lack of ability.

It is destroyed by lack of discipline.

Yahusha lived this perfectly.

He was the most gifted human who ever lived.

He could heal, teach, command nature, multiply resources—but He never moved outside of assignment.

He said, “I only do what I see My Father do.”

Not what He could do.

Not what people asked Him to do.

Not what would impress crowds.

Only what aligned with purpose.

So let me ask you a question you must answer honestly:

Are you building your life around what you are good at, or around what you were sent to do?

Because one leads to applause and burnout.

The other leads to impact and fulfillment.

My friend, if you get this right, you will stop competing, stop comparing, stop envying, and stop rushing.

You will become focused.

You will become selective.

You will say no to good things so you can say yes to the right thing.

And when your gift finally serves your calling, destiny will no longer be a mystery.

It will become a process.
