YAH HEALS FOR PURPOSE NOT COMFORT
Psalm chapter 103
Today we are walking in: YAH HEALS FOR PURPOSE NOT COMFORT
Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew H2318 a right spirit within me.
RENEW
Today we look to the word-RENEW- H2318 chadash--to be new, renew, repair; to renew, make anew; to repair; to renew oneself
The Torah Testifies.............................
******
The prophets proclaim...............
1 Samuel 11:14
Then said Samuel to the people, Come, and let us go to Gilgal, and renew H2318 the kingdom there.
The writings bear witness.............
2 Chronicles 15:8
And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed H2318 the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.
YAH HEALS FOR PURPOSE NOT COMFORT
Beloved, I want to begin today by confronting a very serious problem in the body of the Mashiach. And it is not sickness and it is not disease and it is not even pain. The greatest problem we have concerning healing is ignorance of purpose. Most believers do not lack faith. They lack understanding. And wherever purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable. That is not my opinion. That is a kingdom law. Healing is one OF THE MOST TALKED ABOUT SUBJECTS IN THE ASSEMBLY. AND YET IT REMAINS ONE OF THE MOST MISUNDERSTOOD KINGDOM PROVISIONS.
We pray for healing. We fast for healing. We shout for healing. We attend conferences FOR HEALING. BUT VERY FEW PEOPLE ACTUALLY understand why healing exists in the first place. And until you understand why Elohim heals, you will misuse prayer, misinterpret delay, and misunderstand Elohim Himself. Let me say this CLEARLY AT THE BEGINNING. ELOHIM DOES NOT heal because you ARE UNCOMFORTABLE. ELOHIM DOES NOT HEAL because you are afraid of dying. Elohim does not heal simply because you are in pain. Pain does not move heaven. Need does not move heaven.
Emotion does not move heaven. Heaven responds to law, purpose, and alignment. The assembly has reduced healing to a relief system as though Elohim were running an emergency room. But Elohim is not a hospital administrator. Elohim is a King. And kings do not operate emotionally. They operate constitutionally. The Cepher says, “YAHUAH hath established His throne in the heavens; and His kingdom ruleth over all” (Tehillim/Psalms 103:19). A throne implies government. A kingdom implies law and law implies order. Most believers approach healing from THE
WRONG DIRECTION. WE APPROACH HEALING FROM THE HUMAN SIDE, NOT the kingdom side. WE ASK, “YAHUAH, HEAL ME BECAUSE I AM SUFFERING.” BUT THE KINGDOM DOES NOT ASK, “How do you feel?” THE KINGDOM ASKS, “WHAT IS YOUR ASSIGNMENT?” THE KINGDOM IS NOT moved by pain. It is moved by purpose. THAT IS WHY MANY people get confused when healing does not come the way they expect. They say, “But I prayed, I cried, I believed.” Yet they never asked the more important question. YAHUAH, what is my function in Your
government on earth? BECAUSE UNTIL FUNCTION IS CLEAR, healing remains optional. Let me say that again slowly. In the kingdom, provision is always tied to function. Yahusha HaMashiach never healed people to make them comfortable. He healed people to MAKE THEM USEFUL. HE DID NOT HEAL PEOPLE SO THEY COULD SIT DOWN. He healed people so they could get up. The blind did not just receive sight. They followed Him. The lame did NOT JUST WALK. THEY RETURNED TO SOCIETY. The healed were restored to productivity, not just pleasure. WE HAVE TAUGHT PEOPLE
TO SEEK HEALING for survival. BUT ELOHIM PROVIDES healing for continuation of assignment. The Cepher says, “And ye shall serve YAHUAH Eloheykem, and He shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil” (Shemoth/Exodus 23:25–26). WHY? BECAUSE UNFINISHED ASSIGNMENT IS illegal in the kingdom. Elohim does NOT WASTE INVESTMENT. HEAVEN DOES not abandon ASSIGNMENTS HALFWAY. MOST OF OUR HEALING THEOLOGY IS BUILT ON SYMPATHY, NOT SOVEREIGNTY. WE TALK ABOUT ELOHIM’S COMPASSION. AND YES, ELOHIM IS COMPASSIONATE, BUT COMPASSION DOES not
override law. Compassion operates within law. That is why the Cepher says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hoshea/Hosea 4:6). Notice it does not say destroyed for lack of prayer or lack of fasting or lack of tears. It says lack of knowledge. Beloved, ignorance is not innocence in the kingdom. You can love Elohim and still violate kingdom law. You can worship Elohim and still misunderstand His system. You can shout halleluYAH and still pray illegal prayers. And illegal prayers, NO MATTER HOW SINCERE, DO NOT move heaven.
Healing is not first a spiritual issue. It is a government issue. Until you understand healing AS PART OF KINGDOM administration on earth, you will continue to approach Elohim as a beggar instead of as a steward. And the kingdom does not respond to beggars. THE KINGDOM RESPONDS TO AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES. Yahusha HaMashiach NEVER BEGGED THE FATHER to heal anyone. Never once. HE SPOKE WITH AUTHORITY. WHY? BECAUSE HE understood His role in the kingdom. He said, “But that ye may know that the Son of Adam hath power on earth…”
(Mattithyahu/Matthew 9:6). Notice he said on earth. Authority is location specific. And healing operates under authority, not desperation. That is why I must say this very plainly. Healing has nothing to do with how badly you want it and everything to do with why heaven needs you functional. UNTIL YOU SETTLE THAT ISSUE, healing will remain mysterious, inconsistent, and emotionally exhausting. SO BEFORE WE TALK ABOUT PRAYER, BEFORE WE TALK ABOUT FAITH, BEFORE WE TALK ABOUT MIRACLES, WE MUST FIRST solve the foundational problem, we
do not understand why healing exists in the kingdom of Elohim. And if you misunderstand the purpose of healing, YOU WILL MISINTERPRET ELOHIM’S SILENCE, mishandle your body, and misjudge your assignment. But when you understand the kingdom context, when you understand government, authority and purpose, THEN HEALING STOPS being a struggle and becomes a matter of alignment. And that is where we are GOING NOW.
BELOVED, HAVING ESTABLISHED that healing is misunderstood because we do not understand purpose. We must now confront an even deeper issue. We do not understand the kingdom. And if you misunderstand the kingdom, you will misunderstand Elohim. YOU WILL MISINTERPRET HIS ACTIONS, HIS TIMING AND HIS SILENCE. BECAUSE ELOHIM DOES NOT THINK LIKE A MAN and he does not operate LIKE A RELIGIOUS SYSTEM. ELOHIM OPERATES as a king. The first thing the Cepher introduces to us is not a church. It introduces a kingdom. In the beginning, Elohim created the heavens and the earth. Bereshith/Genesis 1:1, creation is an act of sovereignty. And sovereignty is the expression of
kingship. Before there was sin, before there was sickness, BEFORE THERE WAS PRAYER, THERE WAS A KING with a domain. A KING DOES NOT RESPOND TO EMERGENCIES. A KING ENFORCES POLICY. A KING DOES NOT RUN A CHARITY. A KING GOVERNS TERRITORY. A KING DOES NOT ACT EMOTIONALLY. A king acts legally. AND UNTIL YOU SEE ELOHIM PRIMARILY AS KING, you will continue to approach him incorrectly. You will approach him as a rescuer, a helper, a fixer rather than as a governor who enforces his constitution. The Cepher
says YAHUAH is King forever and ever. (Tehillim/Psalms 10:16). It does not say YAHUAH is a therapist FOREVER AND EVER. IT does not say YAHUAH is an ambulance forever and ever. It says he is King. And a kingdom IS DEFINED BY FOUR ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS. A KING, a territory, A CONSTITUTION AND citizens with delegated authority. That means everything ELOHIM DOES IS FILTERED THROUGH GOVERNMENTAL ORDER. HEALING IS not a random act of mercy. It is A POLICY DECISION. PROVISION IS NOT EMOTIONAL GENEROSITY. It is a constitutional right.
Deliverance is not drama. IT IS LAW ENFORCEMENT. AND WHEN THE ASSEMBLY FAILS to teach people kingdom context, believers pray emotionally instead of legally. THIS IS WHY Yahusha HaMashiach NEVER PREACHED HEALING WITHOUT PREACHING THE KINGDOM. The Cepher says Yahusha went about teaching the Besorah of the kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. (Mattithyahu/Matthew 4:23). Notice the order. Teaching came first. Healing followed understanding. WHY? BECAUSE HEALING IS A BYPRODUCT OF KINGDOM ALIGNMENT. You see, in a kingdom,
nothing exists for itself. Everything exists for the purpose of THE KING. YOUR BODY DOES not belong to you. Your life does not belong to you. Your health does not belong to you. The scripture says, “You are not your own. You were bought with a price.” (Qorinthiym Aleph/1 Corinthians 6:19–20). THAT IS LEGAL LANGUAGE. PURCHASED property exists for the owner’s intent. This is where we get uncomfortable because religion has trained US TO BE SELF-CENTERED. WE ASK, “YAHUAH, HEAL ME SO I CAN ENJOY LIFE.” But the kingdom asks,
“CAN I TRUST YOU WITH A HEALTHY BODY TO ADVANCE my influence?” ENJOYMENT IS NOT THE PRIORITY OF GOVERNMENT. EFFECTIVENESS IS. In a kingdom, resources are allocated based on assignment. If a soldier IS WOUNDED IN BATTLE, THE GOVERNMENT RESTORES HIM NOT BECAUSE IT LOVES him emotionally, but because it needs him operational. THE HEALING IS NOT PERSONAL. IT IS STRATEGIC. AND ELOHIM IS THE MOST STRATEGIC king in existence. THAT IS WHY Yahusha HaMashiach SAID, “Seek ye first the kingdom of Elohim, and His righteousness; and all these things
shall be added unto you.” (Mattithyahu/Matthew 6:33). ADDED, NOT BEGGED FOR, NOT cried for, added. WHY? BECAUSE WHEN YOU ALIGN with kingdom priority, provision becomes automatic. Many believers reverse the order. They seek healing first and kingdom second. BUT Yahusha HaMashiach NEVER TOLD US TO SEEK HEALING. He told us to seek government alignment. HEALING IS A BENEFIT OF CITIZENSHIP, NOT THE GOAL of existence. Let me say something strong and I want you to HEAR IT CAREFULLY. ELOHIM DOES NOT PRESERVE bodies that resist
assignment. In the kingdom, MAINTENANCE FOLLOWS USEFULNESS. THAT IS NOT CRUELTY. THAT IS ORDER. Yahusha HaMashiach HIMSELF SAID, “Every branch in Me that beareth not fruit He taketh away…” (Yochanan/John 15:2). That is kingdom pruning. Fruitlessness disqualifies maintenance. Now, this does not mean that sickness is always a result of sin or rebellion. Do not misunderstand me. But it does mean that health is sustained by alignment, stewardship, and purpose. When you remove purpose FROM THE EQUATION, HEALING BECOMES CONFUSING. But when YOU
RESTORE KINGDOM CONTEXT, HEALING BECOMES LOGICAL. Elohim is not trying to make you comfortable. He is trying to make YOU EFFECTIVE. HE IS NOT COMMITTED to your pleasure. He is committed to His promise. And His promise is that the earth shall be filled with His glory, His influence, His will as the waters cover the sea. (Chabaqquq/Habakkuk 2:14). AND HOW DOES ELOHIM FILL THE EARTH WITH HIS GLORY? THROUGH HUMANS WITH BODIES, WHICH MEANS healing is not an emotional favor. It is a governmental necessity. If the King
wants influence in a territory, He must maintain HIS REPRESENTATIVES IN THAT TERRITORY. So until YOU STOP SEEING ELOHIM AS A RELIEF agency and start seeing him as a King, YOU WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY INCORRECTLY, YOU WILL ASK HIM TO FIX PAIN INSTEAD of asking Him to preserve purpose. YOU WILL FOCUS on survival instead of stewardship and YOU WILL MISUNDERSTAND HEALING EVERY TIME. BUT ONCE YOU UNDERSTAND THE KINGDOM, ONCE YOU UNDERSTAND GOVERNMENT, ONCE YOU UNDERSTAND DELEGATED AUTHORITY, THEN HEALING stops being mysterious and becomes
constitutional. And that brings us to the next issue we must address because now that you understand Elohim is a King, we must deal with what He entrusted to you that makes you valuable to the kingdom.
Now beloved, having established that Elohim is a King and not a relief agency, we must now confront what I believe is one of the greatest contradictions in modern Christianity. We claim to value the kingdom. Yet we consistently dishonor the very asset that makes the kingdom legal on earth: the human body. The body is the most ignored, abused, neglected, and misunderstood kingdom asset in existence. And the reason for this neglect is simple. Religion has taught us to escape the body instead of steward it. We have been trained to think that spirituality means detachment from the physical, when in reality the physical is the legal doorway of the spiritual.
Let me state a foundational truth that will reshape your theology if you allow it to. The body is not a burden to Elohim. It is a requirement. Without a body, no spirit—good or evil—has legal authority to function on earth. That is not philosophy. That is Bereshith. The Cepher says, “The heavens, even the heavens, are YAHUAH’S: but the earth hath He given to the children of men” (Tehillim/Psalms 115:16). That is a legal transfer of jurisdiction. Elohim did not give the earth to angels. He did not give the earth to spirits. He gave the earth to humans. And a human is not a spirit floating around. A human is a spirit housed in a body.
This is why the body matters. THE BODY IS WHAT GIVES YOU TERRITORIAL LEGITIMACY. THE BODY IS WHAT ALLOWS HEAVEN TO TOUCH EARTH without violating divine law. The body is what makes you dangerous to darkness and valuable to heaven. YOU ARE NOT A SPIRIT THAT HAPPENS TO HAVE A BODY. YOU ARE A SPIRIT DESIGNED to function through a body. That is why Elohim formed the body first and then breathed the spirit into it. The Cepher says, “And YAHUAH Elohim formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul”
(Bereshith/Genesis 2:7). ELOHIM DID NOT BREATHE INTO NOTHING. He breathed into a prepared vessel. The body is not an afterthought. It is a strategic container. It is made from the very substance of the territory Elohim assigned you to govern. Your body comes from the earth because your assignment is on the earth. Your body is not evil. It is territorial.
This is why spirits crave bodies. Demons do not want houses, cars, or money. They want bodies because without a body they are illegal. Yahusha HaMashiach understood this when He cast demons into pigs. Why pigs? Because pigs had bodies. And once those bodies were destroyed, the demons lost legal access and had to leave the territory. That should tell you something. The body is a legal instrument. And if the body is damaged, weakened, or destroyed, authority is interrupted. Assignment is suspended. Representation is lost.
This is why death is not the end of a spirit. It is the end of earthly authorization. The Cepher says absent from the body, present with YAHUAH. (Qorinthiym Bet/2 Corinthians 5:8). Notice it does not say absent from the spirit. The spirit never dies. The body determines where you are allowed to function.
So when believers treat the body casually, ignore rest, abuse habits, neglect health, and then expect heaven to override natural law, they are asking Elohim to violate His own system. And Elohim will never violate His Word, because the moment He does, He ceases to be trustworthy.
The scripture says, “Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Ruach HaQodesh?” (Qorinthiym Aleph/1 Corinthians 6:19). That word temple is not religious language. It is government language. A temple in biblical context is not a meeting hall. It is an administrative center. It is where authority resides. It is where decrees are enforced. That means your body is not just personal. It is government property, and government property must be maintained.
No nation allows its embassies to decay. No kingdom ignores its outposts. The condition of the building reflects the seriousness of the government it represents. This is why sickness matters. Not because pain is bad, but because dysfunction disrupts representation. When the body breaks down, the kingdom loses mobility, clarity, endurance, and reach. And Elohim is deeply invested in maintaining His ambassadors.
Now listen carefully because this is where many people get offended. Elohim does not need your body for heaven. He needs your body for earth. Heaven is already perfect. Earth is the mission field, and the body is the only legal way heaven can operate here without violating divine law.
That is why Yahusha HaMashiach had to get a body. The incarnation was not a miracle of love only; it was a legal necessity. The Cepher says, “A body hast Thou prepared Me” (Ivrim/Hebrews 10:5). Why? Because without a body, the Mashiach would have been illegal on earth. Salvation itself required a body.
So when you ask Elohim to heal your body, you are not asking Him for a personal favor. You are asking Him to preserve a legal instrument. And when you understand that, healing stops being emotional and becomes governmental. Your body is not a luxury. It is not optional. It is not disposable. It is a kingdom asset, and heaven is invested in it for as long as your assignment remains incomplete.
And that leads us directly to the next issue. Because now that you understand the value of the body, we must answer the most important question of all: why does Elohim actually heal?
Now, beloved, having established that the body is a kingdom asset and not a religious inconvenience, we are now prepared to answer the question that troubles many sincere believers. Why does Elohim heal? And I want to warn you from the beginning: if you approach this question emotionally, you will misunderstand Elohim. But if you approach it constitutionally, you will finally understand heaven’s consistency.
Elohim does not heal because He feels sorry for you. Sympathy is not the basis of kingdom action. The Bible never says Elohim healed them because He pitied them. It says Yahusha HaMashiach was moved with compassion. Yes. But compassion in the kingdom is not emotion. Compassion is commitment to purpose. Compassion is not weakness. Compassion is alignment with assignment.
Let me say it clearly so you don’t miss it. Elohim heals to preserve legal continuity on earth. Healing is not about comfort. Healing is about continuation. It is about keeping heaven’s representatives functional in the territory they were assigned to govern.
In every kingdom, continuity is critical. Governments invest heavily in maintaining systems that keep authority flowing. Roads are repaired so commerce can continue. Power lines are restored so communication is uninterrupted. Soldiers are treated so defense does not collapse. No government allows essential infrastructure to decay without consequence.
Your body is essential infrastructure to the kingdom of Elohim. When sickness attacks the body, it is not merely attacking flesh. It is attacking jurisdiction. It is attempting to interrupt assignment. It is attempting to silence influence. And heaven responds to that threat not because of pain, but because of purpose preservation.
The Cepher says, “YAHUAH will perfect that which concerneth me” (Tehillim/Psalms 138:8). What concerns Elohim is not your comfort. What concerns Elohim is His investment in you. Elohim invested gifts in you. Elohim invested revelation in you. Elohim invested influence in you. And heaven does not abandon investments halfway through the project.
That is why Elohim told Mosheh, “I am YAHUAH that healeth thee” (Shemoth/Exodus 15:26). He did not say, “I am YAHUAH that makes life easy.” He said, “I heal.” Why? Because Yashar’el was a nation in transition. They were carrying destiny. They were transporting covenant. Their bodies had to endure the journey.
This is why healing is often connected to calling. This is why healing frequently appears at moments of transition, assignment, or escalation. This is why some people experience supernatural strength in seasons of intense obedience. Elohim does not energize rebellion, but He empowers submission.
The Cepher says, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of YAHUAH” (Tehillim/Psalms 118:17). Notice the logic. Life is preserved to declare. Living is connected to purpose. You do not live merely to breathe. You live to announce, to represent, to execute.
This explains something that confuses many believers. People ask, “Why do some faithful people die young?” That question cannot be answered emotionally. It must be answered constitutionally. Scripture tells us that precious in the sight of YAHUAH is the death of His saints (Tehillim/Psalms 116:15). Why? Because when assignment is complete, maintenance is no longer required. Completion releases a servant from duty.
But where assignment is incomplete, heaven resists interruption. That is why Pa’al could say, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” (Timotheus Bet/2 Timothy 4:7). He was not begging to stay alive. He was reporting completion. Completion gives heaven permission to release.
Healing therefore is heaven’s way of saying, “You are not done yet.”
This is why Elohim told Chizqiyahu through the prophet Yesha’yahu, “Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live” (Yesha’yahu/Isaiah 38:1). That was not cruelty. That was an audit. And when Chizqiyahu presented his case—not emotionally, but covenantally—Elohim reversed the decree. Why? Because fifteen more years were required for certain things to be established in Judah. The King extended the assignment.
Heaven is not sentimental. Heaven is strategic. When you pray for healing without understanding purpose, you ask Elohim to act sentimentally. But when you pray for healing with kingdom understanding, you appeal to continuity of assignment. And that prayer carries authority.
That is why Yahusha HaMashiach healed on the Sabbath. He was not breaking the law. He was enforcing a higher law: the law of kingdom function. He said, “My Father worketh hitherto, and I work” (Yochanan/John 5:17). Healing was not rest-breaking. It was assignment-protecting.
Beloved, hear me carefully. Sickness is not stronger than purpose. Disease is not more powerful than assignment. Weakness does not override authorization. The kingdom is sustained, but the King still needs you operational.
But here is the responsibility that comes with that revelation. If Elohim heals to preserve purpose, then healed people must cooperate with purpose. Healing is not a reward. It is a responsibility. When Elohim restores your body, He is not indulging you. He’s entrusting you again.
Which brings us to the next critical understanding. Because now that you know why Elohim heals, we must confront how heaven views the body as a place of authority and residence.
Now beloved, if we are to understand healing properly, we must always return to the original model. Because the kingdom does not evolve; it reveals. And the model for all kingdom life is not the church, not tradition, not experience. The model is Yahusha HaMashiach. He did not come merely to save us from sin. He came to demonstrate how the kingdom functions on earth.
Yahusha HaMashiach never operated randomly. Everything He did was intentional, legal, and purposeful. He did not heal as a hobby. He did not heal to build a following. He healed because healing was maintenance of kingdom order.
He Himself said, “I must work the works of Him that sent Me, while it is day” (Yochanan/John 9:4). Healing was work. Healing was assignment. Healing was kingdom labor.
Notice carefully how Yahusha HaMashiach healed. He never asked the Father if it was His will. He never negotiated if it’s sickness. He never held healing meetings to persuade heaven. Why? Because in the kingdom, authority does not beg for permission. It executes policy. Yahusha HaMashiach understood that healing was not a request. It was an enforcement.
The Cepher says Elohim anointed Yahusha of Netseret with the Ruach HaQodesh and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for Elohim was with Him (Ma’asiym/Acts 10:38). Healing was classified as doing good because sickness is not neutral. It is oppression, and oppression threatens kingdom order.
Yahusha HaMashiach healed people to restore them to function. The blind were healed so they could see again—not merely to enjoy vision, but to navigate life. The lame were healed so they could walk again—not to celebrate movement, but to return to work. Lepers were cleansed so they could re-enter society—not to feel accepted, but to resume contribution.
Yahusha HaMashiach never healed someone and told them to stay home and rest forever. He healed them and said go show yourself to the priest. Go and sin no more. Go home. Go follow Me. Healing always produces movement, because the kingdom is always advancing.
This is why Yahusha HaMashiach often said your faith has made you whole. Wholeness is not the absence of pain. Wholeness is restored capacity. The Hebrew root yasha carries the sense to save, deliver, rescue, and restore—wholeness and restoration unto function. Salvation itself includes functionality.
And notice this: Yahusha HaMashiach did not heal everyone in Yashar’el. That troubles religious minds, but it makes perfect sense in the kingdom. He healed those whose restoration aligned with immediate kingdom impact. He healed those who were willing to respond, to move, to obey. Healing followed alignment, not entitlement.
Even when Yahusha HaMashiach healed the man at the pool of Beit Chesed, He did not ask him how long he had been suffering to gain sympathy. He asked, “Wilt thou be made whole?” (Yochanan/John 5:6). Why? Because wholeness comes with responsibility. Not everyone wants responsibility. Some people want relief.
And after healing him, Yahusha HaMashiach said something very revealing: “Sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee” (Yochanan/John 5:14). Why? Because disorder invites dysfunction. The kingdom cannot maintain what rebellion keeps breaking.
Yahusha HaMashiach understood the body as a tool, not a trophy. He fasted. He rested. He withdrew to pray—not because He was weak, but because He was stewarding His capacity. He understood that burnout is not spiritual. Burnout is mismanagement.
And the greatest proof that healing is about kingdom maintenance is found in the cross itself. Yahusha HaMashiach allowed His body to be broken—not because the body was evil, but because that body had completed its legal function. And when that body was raised again, it was not raised merely to prove power. It was raised to launch the assembly. The resurrected body of Yahusha HaMashiach became the prototype of kingdom continuity.
He said, “As My Father hath sent Me, even so send I you” (Yochanan/John 20:21). That means the same principle applies to you. Your body exists to carry the kingdom forward. And as long as the kingdom needs your obedience, your strength, your voice, your presence, heaven is invested in your maintenance.
Yahusha HaMashiach showed us that healing is not about escaping death. It is about fulfilling assignment. He laid down His life only when the work was finished. He said it is finished (Yochanan/John 19:30). Not I am tired. Not I am hurting. But finished. Completion, not pain, determines the end.
So if you want to understand healing, look at Yahusha HaMashiach. He healed to restore movement, to maintain order, to preserve authority, and to advance the kingdom. And now that we have seen the model, we must confront the next truth. Because healing does not occur in a vacuum. We must now understand where Elohim chooses to dwell and why the body is treated as sacred government property.
Now beloved, if Yahusha HaMashiach is our model and healing is kingdom maintenance, then we must now confront one of the most abused scriptures in the entire Bible. It is quoted often but understood rarely. The scripture says, “Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Ruach HaQodesh?” (Qorinthiym Aleph/1 Corinthians 6:19). Most believers read that verse devotionally. The kingdom reads it governmentally.
A temple is not a church building. A temple is a seat of authority. In every ancient kingdom, the temple was the place where the will of the king was represented, where decrees were enforced, and where law met life. The temple was not built for decoration. It was built for administration.
So when Elohim says your body is His temple, He is not complimenting you. He is declaring jurisdiction. That means your body is not merely personal space. It is official space. It is government property. It is the embassy of heaven on earth. And embassies are not designed for comfort. They’re designed for representation.
This is why the Ruach HaQodesh does not inhabit bodies casually. The Spirit does not rent space. He occupies authority. He comes not merely to bless you but to govern through you. And governance requires order, discipline, and stewardship.
Pa’al goes further and says, “You are not your own.” That statement alone destroys modern individualistic Christianity. Ownership defines purpose. If you are not your own, then your body does not exist to satisfy appetite, impulse, or convenience. It exists to serve assignment.
This explains why scripture connects the temple with holiness. Not moral perfection, but separation for use. Holy means set apart. Your body is set apart for kingdom function.
That is why disorder in the body affects clarity in the spirit. It is not punishment. It is interference. When the body is constantly exhausted, poisoned, neglected, or abused, it limits what the Spirit can administer through it. Elohim does not speak clearly through damaged microphones. He does not transmit power through broken systems. He does not abandon you, but effectiveness suffers.
This is why the Cepher says present your bodies as a living sacrifice (Romaiym/Romans 12:1). A sacrifice is not dead. It is available. Living sacrifice means you maintain the vessel so it can stay on the altar of assignment. You don’t burn it out. You don’t destroy it. You don’t idolize it. You offer it.
Notice the language: present your body. You are responsible for presentation. Elohim supplies power. You supply cooperation.
This is where healing connects to stewardship. Elohim heals the body because it is His temple. But He also expects you to maintain what He restores. You do not renovate a government building just to let it decay again. Restoration without stewardship is disrespect.
That is why Yahusha HaMashiach told the healed man, “Take up your bed and walk.” He was saying you are responsible now. Healing is not the end of responsibility. It is the beginning of accountability.
Beloved, your body is not just a container for blessings. It is a platform for governance. Heaven rules through yielded bodies. The Spirit manifests through disciplined vessels. And the clearer the vessel, the stronger the expression.
This is why sickness matters to Elohim. Not because He fears your pain, but because disorder in the temple disrupts administration. When the temple is weak, prayer is affected. When the temple is damaged, endurance is reduced. When the temple is neglected, authority is compromised. But when the temple is maintained—when the body is rested, disciplined, aligned, and submitted—then healing flows naturally, not mysteriously. Because the kingdom takes care of what represents it well.
And this brings us to a sobering but liberating truth we must now face. Because healing does not operate independently of human cooperation.
Now beloved, we have arrived at a point where many people become uncomfortable because this is where responsibility replaces religious passivity. Healing is not resisted by heaven. It is often restricted by misalignment. And until we understand the principle of cooperation, we will continue to accuse Elohim of silence when heaven is actually waiting.
The kingdom of Elohim is not automatic. It is interactive. Elohim is sovereign, but sovereignty does not mean independence from His own laws. The Cepher says Elohim is not a man that He should lie (Bemidbar/Numbers 23:19). When Elohim speaks, His Word becomes law, and Elohim Himself submits to His Word. That is why heaven never violates divine order to satisfy human convenience.
Healing therefore often requires cooperation. Not because Elohim lacks power, but because Elohim honors process. The kingdom does not operate on shortcuts. It operates on alignment. You cannot pray your way out of disorder while living in contradiction.
This is why Yahusha HaMashiach always said according to your faith be it unto you. Faith is not belief alone. Faith is agreement. Faith means your life says yes to what your mouth is praying. Faith is alignment between confession and conduct.
Many people pray for healing while violating the very principles that sustain health. They ask Elohim to override wisdom, discipline, and stewardship. But Elohim does not cancel natural law to prove spiritual power. The kingdom integrates both. Grace does not replace responsibility. Grace empowers obedience.
The Cepher says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (Yochanan Gimel/3 John 2). Notice the condition. Health is connected to inner order. Disorder in thinking, stress, unforgiveness, bitterness, and fear all create environments where sickness finds permission. Not because Elohim is angry, but because disorder invites dysfunction.
This is why fasting exists—not to punish the body—but to realign the soul. This is why rest exists—not as laziness—but as wisdom. This is why instruction exists—not to limit you—but to protect capacity. Healing flows best where order is restored.
Elohim often heals instantly, yes. But even instant healing requires sustained cooperation. Yahusha HaMashiach said that when an unclean spirit leaves and the house remains empty, disorder returns worse than before. Why? Because freedom without governance creates vulnerability.
Beloved, hear this clearly. Elohim will heal you, but He will not manage you. Management is your responsibility. The Spirit empowers, but you steward. You cannot ask Elohim to maintain what you refuse to respect.
This is why some healings are progressive. Not because Elohim is slow, but because alignment takes time. Elohim heals at the speed of submission. Where there is obedience, healing accelerates. Where there is resistance, heaven pauses—not in judgment—but in patience.
The scripture says, “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land” (Yesha’yahu/Isaiah 1:19). Willingness and obedience are not the same. Willingness is desire. Obedience is action. Healing often waits for obedience.
So do not misunderstand cooperation as earning healing. You do not earn grace, but you must align with it. Grace is a river. Alignment determines whether you are standing in it. And once this truth is understood, healing becomes less mysterious and more predictable because the kingdom is not chaotic. It is consistent.
Now that we understand cooperation, we must address another vital principle because healing is not sustained by desire alone. It is sustained by faith rightly defined.
Now beloved, we must deal with a word that has been abused, diluted, and emotionalized to the point where it has lost its original kingdom meaning. That word is faith. Many people believe they have faith because they feel hopeful, optimistic, or positive. But faith is not optimism. Faith is not excitement. Faith is not denial of facts.
Faith in the kingdom is agreement with purpose. The Cepher says faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Ivrim/Hebrews 11:1). Substance is not emotion. Substance is reality. Evidence is not feeling. Evidence is conviction.
Faith is not pretending sickness is not there. Faith is agreeing with what heaven has already authorized.
True kingdom faith begins where purpose is understood. You cannot have faith for what Elohim did not assign. You cannot exercise confidence in what heaven has not authorized. Faith does not create will. Faith aligns with will.
This is why Yahusha HaMashiach never struggled with faith. He knew who He was. He knew why He was sent. And He knew what heaven expected from Him. Faith flowed naturally because purpose was clear.
Confusion weakens faith. Clarity strengthens it.
Many believers say, “I’m believing Elohim for healing.” But they cannot articulate why heaven should maintain their body. They want relief, but they have not embraced responsibility. They desire restoration, but they resist realignment. Faith without purpose becomes frustration.
The Cepher says, “Without faith it is impossible to please Him” (Ivrim/Hebrews 11:6). Why? Because faith is agreement, and agreement is the foundation of government. Elohim does not enforce laws where there is rebellion. He enforces laws where there is consent.
Faith therefore is not shouting louder. Faith is not repeating scriptures mechanically. Faith is saying, “YAHUAH, I understand why You invested in me, and I am in agreement with that investment.” When purpose and faith meet, authority manifests.
This is why Yahusha HaMashiach said, “If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you” (Yochanan/John 15:7). Abiding is alignment. Words abiding is understanding. Asking then becomes legal.
Faith says my assignment is not finished. Faith says the King still needs representation in this territory. Faith says this body is required for kingdom influence. And when faith speaks like that, sickness loses its argument.
This does not mean you deny medical reality. Kingdom faith is not anti-wisdom. Luke who wrote the gospel was a physician. Medicine is not a threat to faith. Ignorance is. Faith uses every lawful tool to protect assignment.
So when you pray for healing with faith, you are not asking Elohim to change His mind. You are agreeing with what He already intended. An agreement releases enforcement.
Now that faith has been clarified, we must move into something very practical and very powerful because understanding without application produces frustration. We must now demonstrate how kingdom petition works when it comes to healing.
Now beloved, we are ready to pray—but not the way religion taught us to pray. We are not about to beg Elohim, persuade Elohim, or impress Elohim. We are about to petition the King according to kingdom law because prayer in the kingdom is not emotional pleading. Prayer is legal communication between authorized parties.
The Cepher says, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace…” (Ivrim/Hebrews 4:16). Boldly does not mean arrogantly. Boldly means legally confident. You do not approach a throne timidly when you are a citizen and an ambassador. You approach with understanding.
In the kingdom, a petition is based on identity, assignment, authorization, alignment.
Yahusha HaMashiach taught this when He said, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you” (Mattithyahu/Matthew 7:7). Those are not emotional actions. They are procedural steps. Asking is petition. Seeking is pursuit. Knocking is persistence. All three assume legitimacy.
So when you petition Elohim for healing, you do not say, “YAHUAH, please heal me if You feel like it.” That prayer reveals ignorance of the kingdom.
Instead, you acknowledge order, purpose, and stewardship.
A kingdom healing petition begins like this: Father, You are the King of heaven and earth. You are the Owner of my life, and I acknowledge that I am not my own. You formed my body for Your purpose, and You assigned me to represent Your kingdom in this territory. That is alignment.
Then you proceed: Father, this body is the temple of Your Ruach HaQodesh. It is the vessel through which You express Your will, Your love, Your authority, and Your assignment on earth. I acknowledge that sickness interferes with that assignment. That is clarity.
Then you petition according to Your Word: You have declared that by the stripes of Yahusha HaMashiach, healing has been provided. I do not beg for what has already been authorized. I receive restoration so that Your purpose may continue uninterrupted. That is legality.
Then you cooperate: Father, I commit to stewarding this body wisely. I align my habits, my thoughts, my rest, my obedience, and my decisions with Your kingdom order. I do not ask You to override wisdom. I choose to walk in it. That is responsibility.
This kind of prayer does not manipulate heaven. It activates law. Because Elohim responds to agreement, not desperation.
The Bible says, “If two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done…” (Mattithyahu/Matthew 18:19). Agreement is power. Healing prayer is not shouting sickness out. It is establishing kingdom order. It is declaring that this disorder has no jurisdiction where alignment exists. It is saying this body belongs to the King, and the King maintains His property.
And when prayer is offered this way—calmly, confidently, legally—peace replaces anxiety. Faith replaces fear. And healing becomes a matter of time and manifestation, not doubt and struggle.
But prayer is not the end. Prayer is the authorization. What follows prayer is living accordingly.
Which brings us to the final truth I must leave with you. Because healing is not about escaping death. Healing is about finishing.
Well, beloved, hear me carefully now. You were not created merely to survive. You were created to finish. The kingdom does not celebrate longevity without productivity. It celebrates completion.
The Cepher says, “With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him My salvation” (Tehillim/Psalms 91:16). Long life is not promised for comfort. It is promised for satisfaction—the satisfaction of completion. A satisfied servant is one who has executed assignment.
This is why Mosheh lived strong until the end. The Bible says his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated. Why? Because leadership was still required.
This is why Kalev said at eighty-five years old, “Give me this mountain” (Yehoshua/Joshua 14:12). Strength was preserved because conquest was unfinished.
Beloved, you must live long because the kingdom still needs you. You must stay strong because heaven still requires your obedience. Your body is not your enemy. It is your instrument. And Elohim will sustain that instrument as long as it remains submitted to purpose.
Do not apologize for wanting to be healed. Healing is not selfish when it serves the kingdom. Do not feel guilty for praying for strength. Strength is required for obedience.
Do not treat sickness casually. Disorder is never casual in government.
But also understand this: when your assignment is complete, you will be released with honor. Until then, heaven is invested in keeping you functional.
So I leave you with this declaration rooted in scripture and kingdom truth:
I shall live and not die and declare the works of YAHUAH. My body is the temple of the Ruach HaQodesh. I steward it wisely. I align it fully. I receive strength, clarity, endurance, and restoration—not for my comfort but for kingdom assignment—in Yahusha HaMashiach name. And that beloved is healing in the kingdom of Yah

Today we are walking in: Psalms of Healing 103
Genesis 27:8

Jeremiah 7:23
But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

Psalm 18:44
As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
The Psalms of healing psalm 103 the medicine for the soul Psalm 103 is a treasure of wisdom and healing! that we too often over look in our daily lives! in the very first lines of this song David the Psalmist starts off as a profound statement about Yah’s power to heal us not just physically, but in every dimension of our being spirit, mind and body, it begins with a powerful declaration bless the Lord of my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name bless the Lord of my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgive it all inquiries who heal all the diseases Psalm 103 1-3 who healed all that diseases! how often do we pause to reflect on the depth of this promise! all the diseases such as the diseases we can see! the cancer, the heart conditions, the arthritis, but also the diseases of the heart, the mind and the spirit! we live in a world obsessed with physical healing and rightfully so! our bodies are important and the pains we endure are real yet someone calls our attention to the whole of our being! healing is not simply about getting a prescription from the doctor or undergoing a medical procedure true healing, the healing, the Psalmist speaks of his holistic healing! Feel like your brain craves pleasure as much as being a man of integrity encompasses our emotions our thoughts our brokenness and our spiritual well-being. David offers us the gift of understanding! that Yah’s healing isn’t limited to what we can see. It touches every area of our lives even the areas we don’t often think about! consider the story of a man named John! John had lived with chronic back pain for years. He visited countless doctors tried physical therapy and even resorted to surgery yet the pain remained after a failed procedure. John found himself in the dark place, struggling not just with his body, but with his purpose, his peace and his joy! His body was failing him, and with it, his spirit began to wither! one day in desperation John opened his Bible and began reading Psalm 103 as he read the words who healed all the diseases he stopped. He asked himself what if my healing isn’t just about this pain in my back? what if there is something deeper I need to heal from in other place in my life! That night John began to pray, not just for his back, but for his soul, he began to ask Yah to heal his wounded heart! to release the anger he had held toward others, and to restore his sense of joy and peace! slowly overtime John began to experience a change, not just in his body, but his outlook on life! his back pain didn’t disappear overnight, but his spirit was stronger the heaviness he had carried for years, began to lift. John’s experience is not uncommon many of us go through life treating symptoms with the physical, emotional or spiritual without ever addressing the root causes! Psalms 103 reminds us that Yah doesn’t just address symptoms. He heals from the inside out. The healing power in this Psalms goes deeper than a doctors Diagnosis! it penetrates our very soul. The next part of psalm 103 says who forgive us from all our iniquities! These words are crucial for they tie directly into the healing. We seek many times! when we experience sickness whether physical or emotional. There is a deeper issue at the root cause of disease. Suffering and pain is not simply an ailment, but an unresolved issue in the heart! unforgiveness!!! unforgiveness is like a poison. It is a burden we carry that wears us down mentally and emotionally when we refuse to forgive, we build walls around our hearts! walls block healing from flowing into our lives they destroyed our thoughts, cloud our vision and diminish our ability to experience, true peace, holding onto anger or bitterness doesn’t hurt the person we refuse to forgive it hurts us ! The Most High knew this and that is why forgiveness is the first step in healing! research back up studies have shown that unforgiveness can lead to higher levels of stress, anxiety, and even physical health issues such as hypertension and heart disease! when we choose to forgive our blood pressure drops, our hearts begin to calm, and our immune system become stronger, the simple act of letting go of anger can begin to unravel the pains in our hearts and overtime healing follows. Think of the story of Emily. Emily had suffered from chronic migraines for years. She tried medication acupuncture, and therapy yet nothing worked! one day during a counseling session. Emily‘s therapist asked her to think about any unresolved anger in her life as she closed her eyes. The image of her strange mother flashed in her mind. Emily had not spoken to her mother in years due to years of unresolved conflict, the anger she carried was festering inside her, poisoning her body and mind. Emily made a choice that day she chose to forgive her mother, not for her mother sake, but for her own, she took the first step toward emotional freedom and overtime, Something remarkable happened her migraines which had plaque her for years, began to lessen! She still had moments of tension, but the constant debilitating pain that had once defined her life slowly faded away! forgiveness like healing is not a one time event. It is a process. It is choosing to let go each day! but the more we release the more healing flows into us when David wrote, who forgive us all of our inquiries he was not just talking about forgiveness from Yah! He was talking about the kind of forgiveness that set us free from the chains that binds us! free from the wounds of the past! This process of healing through forgiveness is not always easy. It requires courage, vulnerability, and humility, but it is the only way to experience true restoration. The Psalmist doesn’t say who forgives some of your iniquities, but all of them! this means every past mistake! everything wrong you’ve carried with you is covered by Yah’s grace! Forgiving others may not immediately take away the pain, but it removes the bitterness that heals your soul! it opens the door to emotional healing. It softens the heart, allowing Yah’s love to fill the spaces that were once hardened by anger, resentment, and regret, and in that healing occurs, considered the profound words of CC Lewis, who ever wants to be love has to be vulnerable! when we forgive, we make ourselves vulnerable. We allow ourselves to be open to Yah’s grace and healing! Only when we open ourselves fully can we receive the healing from Yah!
Yah’s desires for us and so if you find yourself struggling today, whether with illness with emotional scars or with deep seated pain, take a moment to reflect on the power of forgiveness. Ask yourself is there anyone I need to forgive? Is there anyone, including myself that I need to release from the bondage of unforgiveness? The act of forgiveness is not for the other person it is for you. It is the key to your healing! through forgiveness, we reclaim our peace, our health and our joy. It is the first step in the journey of wholeness and it opens the door to all the other promises of healing Psalm 103 the Psalmist continues Who redeemed our life from destruction who crown us with loving kindness and tender mercies psalm 103:4 these words may seem simple at first glance, but they carry a profound promise. Redemption is more than just an abstract concept or religious terminology. It is the process of being brought back, restored and made whole! when we speak of redemption, we are not talking about an external change. We are talking about a radical internal transformation! a restoration of the soul. There are many people walking around today with broken hearts and wounded spirits. Some of these wounds are visible others are invisible, but just as painful! life has a way of knocking us down! people betray us jobs fail us love ones leave us and our dreams shattered! these experiences can leave us feeling like we are beyond repair! like we are just going through the motions of life with no purpose of direction Attempted yet that there is a divine promise of redemption available to each, and every one of us redemption is a promise of being saved from destruction! a promise of being rescued from the wreckage of our past mistakes. Regrets and tragedies! Yah doesn’t abandon us when we face destruction. He steps in to restore us. The word redeem itself means to buy back to reclaim and to restore to its original purpose. It’s the same word used when someone purchases slaves, freedom, or buys back something precious that was lost. this is the promise of Psalm 103 Yah is not only able to heal us from physical diseases or emotional wounds. He is also able to redeem our lives from the destruction that sin, regret and hardship have caused your life! no matter how broken it may seem it’s not beyond Yah’s redeeming power! let me illustrate this with a real life Example! take the story of James a man whose life seemed irreparably damaged. He had been through a painful divorce had lost his job and was struggling with addiction. He felt like a failure as though everything he built up in life was crumbling for years. James wander through life, hoping for a breakthrough, but never truly believing it could happen! One day he found himself reading Psalms 103 and when he reached the verse about redemption, something stirred inside him James realized that in the midst of his mistakes, Yah had not given up on him he was not beyond Hope! his life could be redeemed. James didn’t immediately get everything he wanted. Redemption doesn’t always happen overnight. It’s a journey, but as he took small steps toward restoring his relationship with Yah! and as he began to make amends with others, he started to see redemption! he found a new job ! rebuilt his relationships with his children, and most importantly, he began to heal emotionally! his life once filled with destruction was now being reclaimed and restored! you might be asking how does redemption work in our daily lives! how does it look when we feel so broken! Redemption isn’t about pretending that the pain didn’t happen or ignoring the past it’s about recognizing that even in our brokenness, Yah can make something beautiful! redemption means that your pass does not define you. It doesn’t matter how many mistakes you’ve made! how many failures you endure or how much shame you carry. The promise of redemption is that Yah can take the wreckage of your life and make something good out of it. What has been destroyed can be rebuilt and what has been lost can be found again The process of redemption may require effort, patience, and sometimes even sacrifice, but in the end it brings freedom. It frees us from the chains of our past! from the weight of guilt and regret. Yah’s redemption is the ultimate reset button for the soul. It restores us to our original design, reminding us that we were made for more than failure! shame or destruction Psalms 103 continues to describe the benefits of Yah’s healing with the words who crowned you with loving kindness and tender mercies In Psalms 103:4 these words of grace, compassion and restoration! a crown in biblical term symbolizes honor our victory and the fullness of life in this verse. David declares that Yah crowns us with loving kindness and tender mercies, to which we are always see the essence of Yah’s heart for his people. They are the source of our healing, and the key to our restoration. Loving kindness is a word we don’t often hear enough in today’s world! in a culture that value speed, success, and self-sufficiency kindness often feels like a rare commodity. Yet, Yah’s loving kindness is an unbreakable bond of affection, care and loyalty toward us. It’s the kind of love that never gives up that never leaves, and that always seeks to restore! when we feel abandoned, discouraged or overlooked, Yah’s loving kindness surrounds us! it gives us hope and assurance that we are never truly alone. Tender mercies are the compassionate actions of a Yah who understands our pain, the judgments and unforgiving standards that many of us face in the world. Yah’s mercy is gentle patient and filled with grace Mercy is what gives us the chance to start over to receive forgiveness even when we don’t deserve it. It is through mercy that healing happens consider the woman caught an adultery described in John 8:3 from she had been dragged before Yahusha humiliated and condemned by the religious leaders. She deserved judgment , punishment and rejection but Yahusha in his mercy stepped in and declared….. let him who is without sin cast the first stone! One by one her accusers walked away. Yahusha did not condemn her. Instead, he offered her mercy in a new beginning, he told her go and sin no more. This is what it means to be crowned with loving kindness and tender mercies. Yah doesn’t just forgive us from a distance. He comes close. He meet us in our brokenness and crowns us with a crown of restoration!
It tells us that despite past mistakes and the suffering we’ve endure, we are still worthy of love, dignity and grace. When we wear this crown, we are reminded that we are Yah’s children, and he has an eternal purpose for our life in our world. It’s easy to feel disqualified. We are often told that we are not enough that we must perform achieve or look a certain way in order to be accepted Yet the message of psalm 103 is radical. Yah crowns us with his loving kindness and tender mercies not because we’ve earned it, but because he loves us deeply, his love for us is not based on our performance or our circumstance. It is unconditional and it is this love that heals us! Crown of loving kindness and tender mercies. Also speaks to the nature of Yah’s healing! healing doesn’t happen through harshness or condemnation. It happens through kindness, compassion, and mercy. When we embrace these qualities, we not only experience healing ourselves, but we become agents of healing for others. When we live out Yah’s loving kindness and tender mercies we become conduits of his grace in a broken world. Yah’s crown of mercy and kindness is the crown of ultimate restoration. It doesn’t just cover our physical wounds, it covers our hearts! Yah’s spirit reminds us that we are love beyond value! beyond our mistakes and restore to our rightful places, his beloved children this is the crown and glory of healing. It is not only what Yah does for us, but what he enables us to become through his loving kindness and tender mercies, we are made whole again as we reflect on the power of Psalm 103 and the incredible healing it promises. Let us remember that this healing is not merely a distant hope or a far off ideal. It is available to us right here! right now. Some words are a declaration of Yah enduring love and his desire to restore us physically emotionally and spiritually when we speak of Yah healing all of our diseases we are talking about healing that goes far beyond the body. It’s a restoration of the heart the mind and the soul a complete healing that touches every area of our lives l! Through forgiveness. We break free from the chains of bitterness anger and regrets allowing healing to flow into our hearts through redemption, we are reminded that no matter how broken our past may seem, Yah has the power to restore us and give us a fresh start and through his loving kindness and tender mercies. We are crowned with Grace dignity and honor, reminding us that we are worthy of healing and wholeness. Yah doesn’t just heal us and leave us where we are. He transforms us. He heals us so that we can become vessels of healing to others. We are his agents in a broken world! called to extend the same loving kindness and mercy that we have received! so no matter where you find yourself today! whether you struggling with physical illness, emotional pain or spiritual brokenness. Remember that healing is within your reach Psalm 103 is not just a beautiful song. It is the blueprint for total Restoration. Yah is not finished with you. You are not beyond his reach and your life is not beyond his redemption, you are crowned with his mercy! covered by his grace and promised healing in every part of your being! embrace This promise!! walk in this truth and allow the healing power of Yah to transform your life today!!you are healed. You are redeemed that you are loved beyond measure and that is the truth that will never change. ALL PRAISES TO THE MOST HIGH YAH!!!!!

Maturity in Faith
That’s why we talk big, and then when trouble comes, we run.
In other words, maturity is measured by pressure, stress, and sometimes even moments of confusion. How do you handle it? Immature people collapse under stress. They give up under pressure. They quit when things get tough. That’s immaturity.
This is one of the reasons why a lot of marriages fail, because people believe that marriage should only have good times. Somehow, they’ve got this picture in their minds that they got from romance books, or wherever they get them from, that there are no problems when you get married, there is no stress, and there is no difficulty.
Even when you start a business, we have the same feeling. “Boy, when I get my business going, I’m going to be free from working. I’m going to get my own job, get my own business.” Then, all of a sudden, when the pressure comes for business, you realize, “I better go back and work for somebody.”
How mature are you?
The key to effective living is your capacity to handle and manage, first of all, the expected, but also the unexpected.
Things happen suddenly. How do you react? Reaction is a telltale sign of what you are made out of. We normally react to the unexpected. When you expect something, you kind of prepare for it, and you can handle that a little bit better. But what happens when something happens that you didn’t plan on? How do you manage that?
Also, success—and everybody wants to be successful in life—but to be successful in life, this is measured by your ability to maintain personal balance in the midst of turmoil.
I have a little saying that I lived by for a long time, and that is, “Since I won’t worry, you can worry for me.”
Say that.
You know, a lot of people worry for you, so why should you join in?
Keeping balance means that you believe what Elohiym said more than what you see.
I’m talking to you from the Ruach Ha’Qodesh. This goes into your whole life.
The greatest revelations in my life always came out of moments of great unexpected acts. That’s when Elohiym reveals Himself to you in a fresh new way, because you need to handle new environments. So He gives you new faith.
What is faith? Belief.
Keeping balance is a sign of maturity.
This third point is very simple, but it’s kind of revealing. This is good for you to remember: maturity is measured by your capacity to respond to tragedy. How do you handle chaos when everything collapses and everything is not going right? What happens in that moment is a sign of your maturity.
You can always tell a person’s maturity by how they handle pressure.
This is good for you when you’re even making friends with people, like developing friendships. Any kind of friendship—you want to see that person under pressure. This especially goes to those who may even be thinking of marriage, especially, because people are what they really are when they are under stress.
Let me say it another way: you don’t know who a person really is until chaos.
This is why you shouldn’t believe everything everybody says in good times.
“I love you. I’ll never leave you. I’ll never forsake you.”
That’s exactly what Kepha told Yahusha, remember? And Yahusha said, “Uh-oh.” He said, “Now Satan just demanded you to be tested by those words.”
In good times, it’s easy to say, “I’m with you, girl. You’re my girl. Yes, sir.” It’s nice in good times, but that cannot be tested until things ain’t going right between you two. When things don’t work out, this is how you measure your maturity.
Pa’al talks a lot about maturity. I’m going to show you some Scripture tonight that may shock you.
Let’s take a look at Ivrim 12:28. This is one of the verses we left off with yesterday. It says, “Therefore, since we have received, or are receiving, present tense, a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and also worship Elohiym acceptably with reverence and fear,” or awe.
I was intrigued. Still, I’m intrigued over the years by the way the Muslims handle persecution. Islam is so weak that it cannot handle cartoons. I don’t know if you ever think about that. Here’s a man in, I think it was Switzerland or somewhere, who drew some cartoons about Muhammad, and they put a death threat on his life.
How many things have people said about Yahusha? How many times did they use Yahusha for curse words? How many times did they say that He was a homosexual, that He used to sleep with Yahuchanon, that He was in love with Miryam, and that He was married to Magdalene?
It doesn’t bother us. We don’t fight over it. We don’t create no big hassle. Why? Because Yahusha cannot be shaken. If your prophet is as strong as a cartoon, your faith must be weak.
Are you with me? That’s an important statement.
Kingdom means government. The country of Heaven and the government it represents cannot be shaken.
Sometimes we forget what this Kingdom has already been through. Sometimes we forget that this Kingdom has been through worse things than you see it going through in your lifetime. It’s been through everything you could dream of, and it still emerges victorious.
I trust my King. I don’t trust Him because He said to trust Him. I trust Him because He’s proven Himself. He’s stable.
Praise Elohiym.
Do you realize that death couldn’t kill Yahusha? It’s a stable Kingdom. What you are a part of is unshakable.
“Let nothing move you,” Pa’al says.
Our Kingdom is unshakable. HalleluYah.
You know, I’ve got nothing else to believe. I’m not looking for an alternative belief system. It’s too late for me. I have already met the final issue, and that is the Kingdom of Elohiym, Yahusha Ha’Mashiach the King. That’s it. Nothing else to seek. He can’t turn me away from Him.
As a matter of fact, let’s look at another Scripture I thought was interesting. Tas’loniqiym Sheniy 1 says, “We ought always to thank Elohiym for you, brothers, rightly, because your faith is growing more and more.”
What is growing more and more? It’s important. He didn’t say your church attendance. You can attend church for twenty years under BFM and still not have your faith grow. It’s your faith we teach to grow. We teach so your faith can grow.
Faith comes by what? Hearing. And hearing what? The Word of Elohiym.
In other words, you build your faith by coming together to hear the Word of Elohiym.
I came here to speak tonight. I’ve been thinking about you all day. I said, “Elohiym, there’s nothing else I can give anyone than the Word of Elohiym. I can’t sleep with you. I can’t live with you. I can’t make decisions for you. But I can give you the Word of Elohiym.”
And the Word of Elohiym builds faith. It gives you your belief system to keep you through the tough times.
Look at what Pa’al says here again. He says, “And the love every one of you have for one another.” Why? Because faith worketh by love. You need to have love. You need to have faith. Care for one another.
“Therefore, among Elohiym’s assemblies, we boast about your perseverance and your faith.”
Wouldn’t it be great for people to know you, not for what you avoided, but for what you made it through?
I’m going to say that again.
He’s saying, “Look, we brag on what you survived.” Not only good things that happened to you. We tell the whole world about this group of people who show their tenacity and their perseverance by what they came through.
I think about Gloria Seymour. Pastor Gloria—I don’t talk much about these kinds of things, okay? But it’s people like them that keep me going. People like Pastor Gloria.
Pastor Gloria came to this ministry early 1980s—’80, ’81, I think, around there—and her husband wasn’t saved. Her husband used to work at Balmoral Beach Hotel, and then we eventually got there through her because she connected us to him. Then we went there, and BFM was the first church in the hotel. Of course, we were the cult. That’s still at that time. We were the cult.
I watched her husband grow into faith. I watched him become one of our elders, and then we discovered he had cancer. We prayed and prayed, and Yahuah extended his life for many years, and then he died.
And this woman is stronger now than before he died.
I’m not impressed by you who got your wife and your husband already living. When you lose them and you’re still going, man, that’s faith. I could brag about this woman’s faith in Elohiym.
Now, she could have said, “If Elohiym doesn’t heal my husband, then healing doesn’t work. Oh, ain’t no use for me praying anymore because prayer doesn’t work.” She could have said that.
But if your faith is in the acts of Elohiym rather than Elohiym Himself, then you lose your faith when the acts don’t work.
But her faith is in Elohiym. Put it another way: her faith is in the Elohiym of her faith.
What’s your faith in?
So I brag about her. I talk to people. I say, “Look, there are some folks in my assembly. Man, when I think about them, I tell you, I’ve been through nothing compared to what they’ve been through, and they’re still preaching, teaching, standing strong, leading people.”
Pa’al says, “I boast about your faith. I boast about your perseverance and all your persecutions.”
Now, this assembly is not our assembly. This belongs to Yahusha Ha’Mashiach. He says, “I will build My assembly.” I don’t need you to build My assembly for Me. He says, “And you are lively stones in the wall.”
Each one of us is a living stone building up this most holy place for Elohiym to dwell.
So our faith should be our reputation.
What is faith? Believing.
We still believe.
I said this on Sunday yesterday, and I’ll say it again. This is really interesting to me: everyone we know in the Bible, we know them because of what they went through.
Think about anyone in the Bible. Hadassah—my Elohiym, she took a chance. Remember the story? If you go before the king without permission, you get your head cut off. She says, “If I die, I die.” Then she went inside.
Now we know Hadassah as being this awesome woman, but see that moment when she’s going in there. See, you don’t want to be Hadassah. You could lose your head.
Can I suggest to you that Heaven’s hall of fame is a hall of fame of faith?
You read Ivrim chapter 8. Yes, it talks about faith, all that good stuff. Then in chapter 11, it talks about what faith is. Then in chapter 12, it tells you all these guys who are in the hall of fame.
You know what makes you famous in the Kingdom of Elohiym? Not the pictures they take of you, or the articles in the magazines, or all the stuff they give you, or the plaques, or the PhD.
What makes you famous in Heaven is what you made it through.
And we’re going to come through everything Elohiym allows to come our way, because we are gaining a spot on the wall of Heaven for our face to be put. Elohiym is going to say, “This is one of them.”
HalleluYah.
I gave you a statement yesterday. I hope you put it on your wall by your mirror where you fix your hair, and that is this: my faith is only as strong as what it survives.
Say it.
Tell your neighbor, “Pray for my faith, please.”
Fame comes from faith. Write it down. Fame in Heaven comes from faith. In the Kingdom of Elohiym, you become famous based on the testing of your faith.
Avraham is called the father of faith because he had probably the toughest test. The guy was seventy-five, and Elohiym said, “You can have a baby.” And the baby didn’t come until twenty-five years later, at one hundred.
Now, you know. Come on, let’s think about this a minute. No, let’s stop thinking about it.
I mean, you can imagine this guy trying for twenty-five years. Matter of fact, he was married long before that, so they were trying to have a baby all his life. Sarah was considered barren. He was considered impotent, dried up. The Bible, of course, will tell you he was dried up. He had nothing.
Elohiym says, “You can have a baby.”
His faith dipped a little bit when his wife said, “Look, okay, let’s try the maid.” And Elohiym came back and said, “No. I said you and Sarah. So go back and try again.”
I don’t know about you, but I guess he’s ninety-nine years of age. Come on now. Come on, Sarah. Come, child, let’s go. It’s nine o’clock.
The Bible says Avraham believed Elohiym. That’s all. He didn’t believe in what he didn’t see happen, because that could discourage you. He just believed Elohiym.
Everybody say, “I believe what Elohiym told me.”
That’s right. No matter what’s happening around you, you’ve got to believe what Elohiym told you.
Your senior pastor believes in the vision of this ministry. Elohiym has already been faithful. He gave us this land when we had no land: 18.1 acres, block to block. We had nothing. We had three hundred people or less.
He gave us this building. It’s worth millions. We still don’t know how we built this building. Then we bought these chairs. We still don’t know how we bought these chairs. We’ve been on TV since 1984, and we’re still on TV. Don’t know how.
I believe Elohiym, no matter how the circumstances look.
Faith is believing what Elohiym said.
Here’s something. The next verse says, Pa’al says, “All this is evidence that Elohiym’s judgment is right, and as a result, you will be counted worthy of the Kingdom of Elohiym.”
Everybody say, “Worthy.”
In other words, you should not—can I say it another way? This is very deep. He says persecution, trials, perseverance, endurance—all of them are things that make you worthy to live as a citizen.
Can I put it another way? We think that when we follow Yahusha, life’s supposed to be easy. He said, “No, no, no. When you are in the Kingdom of Elohiym, we prove how good the Kingdom is by what it survives.”
It keeps coming through. HalleluYah.
Why does Elohiym heal some people and not heal some other people? I have no idea. But according to this verse, it has something to do with making you Kingdom-worthy.
Let me tell you something. Some folks ain’t worth giving a testimony yet. If you ain’t broke yet, you don’t know how it feels to tell plenty. Can I hear an amen?
Now, I couldn’t figure out as a child why Elohiym took Yoceph, a prince. The guy was wealthy, a prince, and put him in jail. Why would Elohiym take Mosheh, who’s also a prince of Mitsrayim, and make him a convict?
Because He just wants to make sure that you know how it feels to have nothing. So when you start testifying, you can say, “I remember.”
See, some folks think I don’t remember. I don’t have good times all the time.
Your worth in the Kingdom of Elohiym is tied to perseverance, trials, endurance.
Can you endure a little bit longer what you’re going through? Just make it through it, praise Elohiym.
Imagine what people would be able to say about you. The folks around you and your family, your work—they’re watching you.
Suppose you only have good stories to tell them, and they can say, “This Elohiym you’re serving is like Santa Claus. He’s like a big Ferris wheel or something.”
But when they watch you go through hell and come out with no scent of smoke, and you’re still smiling, they can say, “I want that kind of Elohiym.”
You know that Yahusha said that when you build your house, you build it on rock. Fine. That’s the faith of Elohiym. He says, and the storm comes on both of the houses: the house that’s on sand and the one that’s on rock. He said the same storm hits both.
I think that’s important, because sometimes we think, “Well, if I’m on the rock, I ain’t got no storm.”
No. The Kingdom of Elohiym gets its integrity from the fact that you don’t collapse under pressure.
How strong are you?
Beryl, you’ve been with me a long time. You’ve been through a lot of stuff. Elohiym even made you adopt some kids. And man, you and Colin working at it, you know, and Elohiym said, “Boy, how did I get like this? All these mouths to feed.” Elohiym said, “Look, I’m watching your faith.”
It’s not what you escaped. It’s what you made it through that makes you respected in the Kingdom of Heaven.
“Worthy of the Kingdom of Elohiym, for which you are suffering.”
Here’s another one I thought was very interesting. Ya’aqov chapter 1. What are the results when your faith is tested? Let’s read this, Ya’aqov chapter 1. You want to find it in your Bible and underline it.
These are verses that Elohiym wants you to remember during this very significant moment in your life.
He says, “Consider it pure joy.”
Now this one, you know, I was a teenager when I read this one. This one helped me. I was like seventeen years old when I got this one. It made me very strong in my faith as a teenager.
It says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds.”
Why? “Because you know.”
Now, first of all, you can’t face them if you don’t know something. That knowing is important. The knowledge gives you the capacity to have joy.
In other words, if you don’t know what this thing is doing to you, you’re going to be mad with Elohiym, mad with the devil, mad with your family, mad with everybody, mad with the assembly, mad with the pastor, mad with everybody.
Why? Because, “I don’t know what is happening to me.”
Elohiym said, “No, no, no, no, no. You’re supposed to know that when trials come, what do they do? They develop perseverance.”
In other words, every time you go through a period of hardship, something is being developed in you. In other words, the circumstance is losing, and you are winning in the process.
You never grow in good times.
You can tell when Elohiym’s ready for another jump in your life. He takes you through a little tough period because He’s getting ready for another leap in your life.
Give Elohiym a praise.
He’s going to develop something to make you worthy of His Kingdom.
Tell your neighbor, “I want to be known for what I made it through.”
Come on, say it again. “I want to be known for what I make it through.”
Now say it loud. “I want to be known for what I make it through.”
Exactly.
Your faith can handle anything the world throws at you. Amen.
Look at that. Powerful.
“Because you know.” What do you know? That the testing of your faith—what is faith? Belief.
When you start doubting, you say, “Oh my Elohiym, I believed You for this job, and I still didn’t get it yet.” You know, “I believe Elohiym.” He said, “I’m watching you.”
“But I prayed, and I believed that You were going to heal my baby, and the baby healed.” But believe. Elohiym said, “I’m watching you.”
I know that the testing of my belief is working in me perseverance.
Verse 4 says what? “And perseverance must finish its work.”
In other words, if you jump out of the test, Elohiym said, “You still have to go through that again. You don’t get out. You didn’t develop what you were supposed to develop in the first one. You ran out.”
So Elohiym, bam, hits you again. You ever wonder why you say, “Elohiym, when did it end?” Elohiym said, “Because you ain’t finished yet.”
HalleluYah.
You know, Bahamas Faith Ministries, as a ministry, we’ve gone through so much stuff. Right now, we’re in a period like everybody else, with financial challenges, and we believe in Elohiym that He’s going to bring us through and everything else. That’s part of it. You don’t panic.
Right now, you’ve got a little stress. Maybe you’ve got a little job problem. I just heard on the news tonight that the hotels are a little down, and they’re going to be giving people one- or two-day weeks. Some of y’all, that’s going to affect you if you’re a taxi cab driver, or maybe you work in a hotel or whatever.
You’re going to say, “Oh, Elohiym.”
Elohiym said, “Okay, relax. This ain’t about the economy. This now is about your belief. Do you believe I can bring you through this, and you don’t beg? Because you are the righteous, and I’ve never seen…”
It ain’t a matter about your salary. It’s a matter about your belief.
Do you still believe Elohiym in the furnace?
Say halleluYah.
If you believe Elohiym in the furnace, you can rejoice when you come out.
Let perseverance finish its perfect work.
You know, the worst thing to do with Elohiym is try to skip class. I had to learn it.
“Oh, Elohiym, is there an easier way?”
Elohiym said, “No. What I need to develop next requires this level of test.”
Let perseverance finish its work. Then it says, when it finishes its work, what’s going to happen? “Then you will be mature.”
See, maturity is a result of the test you survive.
So if you’re going through plenty, going through a lot of tests, that’s a sign that Elohiym’s figuring you’re immature right now. You’re not mature yet. You keep going through. And then every time you make it through a big one, you have a bigger one up ahead, because you’ve got to keep developing perseverance and maturity.
I remember I used to believe Elohiym for $100. Now I’ve got to believe Elohiym for a million dollars. Same belief. Boy, but the amount is big. I’ve got to believe Elohiym for this ministry. Millions of dollars.
We used to take up offerings here. I remember we used to be so excited. We got $240. You should look back at our minutes. Minutes in our ministry: 1982, ’84. Minutes. Offering: $200. We were so excited. Praise Elohiym. And the rent was $150.
Anyhow, you look and you say, “Elohiym, You are so wonderful.”
Then Elohiym gives you $200,000 a week to believe Him for. He said, “Believe Me for that.” He keeps taking you through bigger tests to develop higher maturity, so you don’t panic.
Because the day can come when I’ve got to believe Yahuah for a million dollars a week. When we build those buildings and start those schools and train all those leaders, we’re going to believe Elohiym for maybe $3 million a week.
So He takes you through each stage to build your faith. He ain’t got no problem. It’s getting you to believe that He will do it at that level that the test is for.
Praise Elohiym.
You will not be found wanting in anything.
Write this down, please.
Mosheh killed the Mitsriy. What a test. You know, when you do something dumb, Elohiym says, “Do you still believe Me after your dumbness?” You really messed up and did some crazy things. Elohiym says, “Hey, get your belief back.”
I think about Avraham. He slept with his maid. Elohiym said, “That’s okay. Get up and start again. Go sleep with Sarah. Why? Because I still can keep My word to you. The baby will come.”
So Avraham kept his faith, his belief.
I think about Yahusha. You know, Yahusha just came through the waters, man. Elohiym worked a miracle. Sometimes Elohiym works nice miracles for you to make you feel good. He used to get a bonus, right? Boom. That was a bonus.
They came through the Yarden River. Remember, they crossed the Yarden River. They got the singers up front. “Praise Yahuah.” They’re carrying the ark, and the priests behind them, and Yahusha, and everybody. Everyone going through the Yarden River.
As soon as they get on the other side, guess what? Big Jericho fight. And I hear Yahusha saying, “Oh, man. I thought we had relief.”
From test to test, we can come through every test Elohiym allows to come our way. And guess what? There can be another one up ahead.
So if you keep running because of tests, you better keep your running shoes on for the rest of your life.
Look at Daniy’el. We know about him, of course. Daniy’el was a man of Elohiym, believed in Elohiym, had faith in Elohiym, but yet he went into the lion’s den.
Your faith doesn’t protect you from tests. It takes you to them.
I’m going to say it again, because some of you say, “Well, I’ve got belief in Elohiym. Elohiym delivered me.” Yeah, He can deliver you from one to take you to the next one, because He knows that whatever you go through can’t harm you. He wants to prove that your faith that He gave you in His Word is stronger than any circumstance that can come.
Let me put it another way. Please listen and be careful, because I know when you’re coming through moments like this in our life, we begin to think, and we begin questioning Elohiym.
Don’t question Elohiym.
Listen. Being a Kingdom citizen doesn’t give you immunity from tests and trials. As a matter of fact, they increase tests and trials to prove that what you have is pure gold.
I was going to tell you a story yesterday, but I told you a different story yesterday. I was going to tell you this story yesterday.
I was watching National Geographic years ago, and they showed an elephant, this big elephant. They had the elephant lift his feet up, and they put a watch under the elephant’s feet. Then the circus guy who was controlling the elephant had the elephant lift up his legs on both sides, on just one leg, and that was the leg the watch was under. So here’s this tons of elephant weight on this watch.
I was intrigued.
Then when they took it out, they shook it. It was still working.
Then they took it, and they threw it in a bowl full of fire, and they timed it. Then they took it out, cooled it off, shook it. It was still working.
Then they took it, and they put it in a freezer, dry ice. Left it there for a period of time, took it out, shook it. It was still working.
At the end of the whole documentary, I realized that they were really showing what makes this watch so valuable. It was a Rolex.
At the end of it, they said, “You don’t buy Rolexes to tell time. You can buy a Timex for ten bucks to tell time. You buy a Rolex because you’re buying time.”
My wife bought me a Rolex years ago. It wasn’t an expensive one, but it’s nice. When I opened the box, the book was that thick in the box, little box. On the first page, it had like 1884. That’s how old the thing is. Then at the end of it, it says, “Lifetime guarantee. If anything goes wrong, we exchange it. No questions asked.”
So I’ve got a watch forever. Lifetime guarantee.
How can you guarantee something for life? Because they already figured out, you can’t hurt this watch. Elephants walked on this. It’s been in fire. It’s been in ice. It’s been in the North Pole. We threw this against the wall. Anything you do to this watch, it’ll survive.
So they put trust in the watch. So you buy the time under which it’s been under stress.
Listen, how much are you worth to Elohiym?
Worthy of the Kingdom.
How much worth? The worth comes from what you survive.
Daniy’el was a man of Elohiym. He was an excellent man with an excellent spirit, and the next thing, he’s in the lion’s den. Daniy’el prayed every morning. Every morning. Read the Bible. It says Daniy’el prayed every morning, and he was still in the lion’s den.
Not because you pray means Elohiym will let you go through problems.
This whole idea about, “If you get saved, anything will be okay,” is a lie.
When you come to Mashiach, He uses you to prove His worth to the world.
“Boy, y’all still standing there?”
“Yeah, boy, BFM still standing.”
“Am I as hard as that?”
“Yeah, but my head hard. I’ve been knocking my head so much, I can’t feel no more.”
That’s what tests do.
Iyov lost everything. We know Iyov.
Yahusha was betrayed by His best friend.
Do you know, I was thinking, sometimes the people closest to you hurt you the most. You cannot betray someone who didn’t trust you. Can you understand that? Betrayal is only possible where there was trust.
Did Yahusha quit? No.
And that same best friend committed suicide on His watch. Yahusha even predicted the guy was going to do it.
Shouldn’t He have felt guilty? Maybe He caused him to do it. Maybe He felt that way. He could have felt that way. Yahusha said, “No, do whatever you will. I ain’t taking responsibility for your decision.”
And He kept on going.
You may lose the best friend in your life, but you’ve got to get up and keep going.
Can I hear an amen?
You know, Pastor Barbara—I don’t talk that much. The reason why I appointed these people pastors is not because of medals, but because of scars.
When I first met Pastor Barbara, she was a single mother with a beautiful little daughter. She came to BFM. Her eyes opened by the Word. She became so hungry for the Word over twenty years ago, and she never sought leadership position. She volunteered to always help. Always volunteered.
“I want to help.”
She was the minister of hospitality before anyone asked her.
This woman was a single mother, working hard. She was at the bank when I first came here. At the bank, laboring to send her daughter through school, keeping herself pure. No man fooling with her. She was pure.
And I said, “This woman knows how to handle tests. That’s who you give authority to.”
Not your education. It’s the tests you survive.
I saw her take those teen-challenge responsibilities. I saw Barbara at two o’clock in the morning go into the streets, scraping up young girls out of the base houses, putting them in her car, smelling dirty, bringing them to church. They smelled bad. She sat right next to them. She wiped them. Took them to her house. Fed them.
And she went through a divorce. She’s got her own daughter, and she’s scraping up other people’s children.
This is the test of your faith.
And some people ain’t gone through nothing and complaining about Elohiym.
You wonder why Elohiym blesses people like that. You see them getting blessed. You don’t know what they went through. Don’t be jealous of them.
You are as mature as the test your faith survives.
What do you do when the family falls apart? Do you come back up and start swimming again? Or do you decide to just drown?
You know, Kepha and Yahudah fell into the water of life. Both of them couldn’t swim. Yahudah decided, “I’ll just drown.” Kepha said, “I’m going to tread water.” You’ve got to decide what you’re going to do. The one who treaded water became the leader.
I like what Yahusha said to Kepha. He says, “Satan will test you and sift you like wheat.” He says, “But when thou art converted, then you can strengthen your brothers.”
In other words, until you go through hell, you ain’t got nothing to say to me.
Oh, sorry. I might have hurt your feelings on that one. Okay, let me say it nice: until you go through a little difficulty, you really cannot talk to folks with conviction.
People come to me all the time. “Pastor Myles, I think y’all should do this. I think y’all ain’t doing this right.”
Listen, wait, wait, wait. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You’ve been here for three years. I’ve been here for thirty. How much do you think I survived in thirty years? All of a sudden, you’re smarter than me?
Pa’al says to Timotheus, “Do not choose anyone to be a leader who is a novice.”
A novice means someone who ain’t been through no test. Speaking in tongues ain’t no test. Singing well don’t impress Elohiym at all. He wants to know if you’ve got a song when everything falls apart.
Are you still singing?
Is your faith stronger than circumstances?
Look at this one. Pa’al. We know Pa’al okayed all those people to be killed, and Elohiym still used him. He came through the test.
Kepha denied Yahusha in prison, came out, became the leader.
Yahuchanon was marooned on the island. He talked about this.
But look at Timotheus Ri’shon 1:18. It says, “Timotheus, my son, I give you this instruction.”
Now watch this: “In keeping with the prophecies once made about you.”
In other words, some of us got prophecies from Elohiym. “Yahuah shall do this. Yahuah shall do that.” He said, “That’s fine. Good prophecies.”
Read the rest of it. He says, “So that by following them you may fight the good fight of faith.”
Fight the good fight.
What’s the good fight? Holding on to the faith and a good conscience. Some have rejected these and so have shipwrecked their faith.
How do you shipwreck your faith? By rejecting what Elohiym told you. You stop believing. They have rejected the faith. Among them—and Pa’al lists some names of people who left him.
Elohiym have mercy.
Tell your neighbor, “I ain’t going nowhere. My faith is stronger than circumstances.”
Pa’al says, because they couldn’t handle the pressure, “I handed them over to the devil.”
Let me tell you something that Pa’al is saying. Pa’al says, “I don’t even think about them anymore.”
Sometimes people get the idea that you really are going to miss them. Your whole life is going to stop because they leave you. You ain’t going to never be able to be sane. You ain’t going to be able to continue if I leave you. You know, I’m the one that’s keeping you going.
Hey, Pa’al says, “I gave them over to the devil.” Really. “I gave them over to Satan, and I kept on going.”
There are people in your life who make you believe that they are yours. In them you live and have your being.
That’s what I’m talking about.
You’ve got to remember, your being is not in your job. It’s in Elohiym.
“My faith,” say it, “is in Elohiym.”
This is the mood tree here. I observe people quietly enough. Painful health. Breast cancer. Survived. Steady. Never miss the seat. Sitting there in the assembly, trusting Elohiym.
Woman’s got a book inside. She’s got a right to write a book.
See, some folks don’t write books; they get unsaved. You understand me? People get, “Hey, I want to write a book.” Yeah, what’s the book about? What is this book about? You ain’t been through nothing.
You qualify through the test. Say it. “The test qualifies you.”
Pa’al said you become worthy of the Kingdom through persecution, perseverance, trials, tests.
So do well on your tests, so Elohiym could put you on display.
I don’t know everybody here got a story. I know. But your story ain’t over. That’s what I’m trying to get you to say. It ain’t over. The chapter’s still coming.
You think things are going good.
Some people may have gotten offended on Sunday when I said you can lose everything. Let me explain what I mean by that. Either you’re going to lose it, or you’re going to lose you. One or the other. You can die and carry nothing with you.
So don’t hold on to nothing. Hold on to Elohiym.
Tell your neighbor, “I’m a user, not an owner.”
Elohiym wants you to use things and trust Him.
Pa’al said, “I gave them over,” because I ain’t hanging on to them. I ain’t feeling guilty with them leaving me.
Pa’al said, “Look, they couldn’t handle the pressure. I’m gone.”
They didn’t want to handle the test, he said.
Look at this one, Timotheus Ri’shon 6:11. Read: “But you, man of Elohiym.”
Who is Pa’al talking to now? Timotheus.
“But you, man of Elohiym, flee from all of this and pursue righteousness, reverence, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. Fight the good fight of what?”
Hey, that’s important. Don’t fight the devil. The devil is fighting something else. He’s fighting your belief system.
If Satan can get you to stop believing, he won.
I was thinking, Pastor Richard, about our friend, our dear friend we went to school with. Spent years with him. We loved this man: Carlton Pearson. You know, Carlton was one of our best friends.
Do you know what he lost? Faith.
What is faith? Belief.
When Satan can tamper with your belief, he destroys your life.
Let me tell you what I’m really trying to get you to do. Yahuah told me to come back and tell you as a people, and as a ministry, as an assembly: don’t believe Elohiym because of what He does for you, and don’t doubt Elohiym because of what He didn’t do for you.
You believe Elohiym because of who He is to you.
HalleluYah.
So he says, “Timotheus, fight the good fight of faith.”
I want you to talk to each other from now on at this level. Just talk to each other.
“You still believe Him?”
“What did you say?”
“Still believe Him?”
“Yeah, still believe Him.”
“Okay, let’s sit for a little while.”
Remember the Word that Elohiym says? Give them the Word. Remember the Word that Elohiym said? Give them the Word. Why? You’ve got to build your faith up.
Build up your faith, it says.
Faith comes by what? Hearing. And hearing the Word of Elohiym.
Because that’s the fight.
When you are weak, it’s because your belief is weak. That’s your weakness. Your strength is when your belief is strong.
Satan comes to sabotage your faith. So Pa’al says, “Fight.” And he said, “Take hold of eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many.”
In other words, you stand up in the assembly and say, “Yahuah is a good Elohiym.” Then you go inside, and He says, “Let me check that out.”
Read that verse.
He said, when you confess how good Elohiym is in your business, bam, something hits your business. He says, “Come on, keep believing now. You’ve got to keep believing what you told them in the public.”
“My Elohiym shall supply.”
Okay, you broke now though.
“I still believe. My Elohiym shall supply.”
Do you know that the disciples were with Yahusha? Listen to this carefully now. I think strange, you know. I think simple, man.
The disciples were with Yahusha, and they ran out of tax money.
Wait a minute. You are with Elohiym, and the place ran dry. You are with Elohiym. Elohiym let the place run dry.
Why are you checking? Why are you checking?
How do you react when the place is empty? What are you watching? Why?
You know there is a fish right there with the food and money in the mouth. But He is checking to see if you can handle the empty place for a couple of minutes.
Come on, glory, halleluYah.
Can you handle when nothing is around?
“Where is Elohiym? Pastor Myles, I’m preaching. It don’t work.”
Wait a minute, it works. I’m checking your attitude. What do you do when there is no money?
“I still believe Elohiym. I still prepare the table and get the pot and turn the stove on, waiting for something to come in. I’ve got to believe Elohiym.”
HalleluYah, sister.
He let the place run dry.
I told you before, and I mean it: if anybody should have quit, that is why I’m here, standing here, because I can tell you, you’re going to be alright.
If He did it for me, and for Avraham, and Ya’aqov, and Esau, and Yitschaq, and Daniy’el, you are in line for yours. He’s going to bring you through.
This Elohiym we serve is not an Elohiym who can only handle things when they are good.
So when you make confession before people, get ready for the test.
Another verse. Pa’al says, “I have fought a good fight.”
What is the fight?
He said, “I have finished my race.”
What is the race?
“I have kept my faith.”
He said, that is the fight, and that is the race. The race is to believe to the end, and the fight is to believe until you win.
Can I say it again? The race is to believe to the end, and the fight is to believe until you win.
My friends, oh my children, listen to me. It’s not how you talk big now. Ten years from now, are you still going to be a believer? That’s the question.
That is what inspires me about these wonderful leaders. When I watch them go through the test, and they go through tests I’m going through, and their faith in the Word is strong, I say, “Elohiym, I can handle that too then. If they can make it, I can make it.”
A complaining citizen is an immature citizen.
He says, “I kept the faith. I kept believing.”
Now there is stored up for me a what? A crown.
Let me tell you something. You ever hear this: no pain, no gain? Yeah. No trials, no crown. That’s true.
But boy, we like crown preaching.
“Crown. I’m a king. Yes, sir. I’m authority. Dominion.”
Elohiym said, “Right. But to put that on, to wear that crown, you’re going to go through a little bit of test.”
Tell your neighbor, “I’m working on my crown.”
Praise Elohiym.
Pa’al says this now: “There is now laid up for me a crown of righteousness which Yahuah Himself has prepared for me, the righteous Judge, and He will what? Not reward. Award.”
Reward is when you do something. Award is when you finish something.
Come on, somebody.
You get awarded for what you achieve. Reward is when you work for something. Award is what you achieve. You don’t come through nothing, you don’t get no awards.
It’s amazing that the same community that told me I was a cult was the same community that gave me the OBE. It’s no big deal to me. It just made me smile. I’m like, “Wow.” They were watching to see if I could handle their pressure that they were putting on me.
When I met them, they said, “You’ve done well. Here.”
It’s amazing they gave me an award for coming through what? All the persecution, all the stress, all the criticism. They said, “Yeah, he’s tough.”
You made me tough because you were the pressure.
Lift your right hand. Say, “Circumstances, welcome as dear friends. You come to make me better, prepare me for my award.”
You know the Bible says in Ya’aqov and Kepha Ri’shon—Kepha Ri’shon says, “When trials come, welcome them as friends, for they have come to purify your faith like pure gold.”
Imagine. Friends? Yes, friends.
House burned down. You go, “Wow. That’s an interesting friend.”
Then Heaven stands up and tips over. “Let’s see how she can react. Let’s see how he acts. Oh, you mean he actually collapsed? Oh, he stopped believing in Elohiym. He figured Elohiym only gave him one house.”
Or do you say like Iyov? “Though He slay one house, yet I trust Him for the next one, and two, and three, and four.”
It’s a test.
You make it through.
Not only to me.
Say amen.
Pa’al says this is not unique to anybody. You’ve got to fight a good fight of faith. You’ve got to make it to the end. You’ve got to overcome every circumstance. You’ve got your award prepared for you, but you’ve got to work for that one. You’ve got to go through the achievements of surviving every test.
You’re going to come through.
Elohiym doesn’t leave us without support.
Mattithyahu 11. Yahusha says, “Have faith.” Where? Don’t have faith in Elohiym’s miracles. Don’t have faith in Elohiym’s acts. Don’t have faith in Elohiym’s blessings. Don’t have faith in Elohiym’s anointing. Don’t have faith in Elohiym’s man of Elohiym.
Have faith in Elohiym.
You know why people hurt your feelings and break your heart? You have faith in them. So when they go, your faith gone. You’ve got to put faith in Elohiym, my dear.
He doesn’t go. He stays. He stays.
Let me give you one last thing to think about. This one is interesting.
Luqas 18:6 says, “And Yahuah said, listen to what the unjust judge says.”
This woman—she’s a widow. Remember that story? He said, “And will not Elohiym bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night?”
Yahusha speaking.
“Will He keep putting them off?”
Do y’all feel like Elohiym’s putting things off? Boy, I sure feel that way a lot. I’ve felt that way for the last twenty-nine years. I’ve been feeling Elohiym putting things off.
“Elohiym, why are You taking so long to bring this? I type all these things, all the visions on the paper.”
Elohiym says, “Listen, I’m in charge. You work for Me.”
He won’t put it off forever, it says.
“Elohiym, why isn’t this thing working? Why doesn’t—why don’t You—why am I breakthrough?”
You know, there are a lot of breakthrough conferences. Breakthrough. Breakthrough.
Elohiym said, “Look, I decide breakthrough.”
Y’all have a long time with no breakthrough conference. That’s why folks are depressed. They go to a breakthrough conference, and ain’t nothing breakthrough except their blood pressure.
Tell your neighbor, “My faith is not in Elohiym’s acts. My faith is not in breakthrough. It’s in Elohiym. It’s in Elohiym.”
Give Him glory. HalleluYah.
Tell your neighbor, “My faith is in Elohiym.”
He will not keep putting you off.
But I tell you, Yahusha says, “He will see.” He will see.
Glory. That’s enough to go home on right now, go take communion right now.
He will see what? Come on, y’all ready, man? He will see that you get justice.
What is justice? Rights.
He said, “Look, it seems like it waited a little while, but it ain’t the thing. It’s you He’s watching. He’s trying to develop faith in you, so He withholds it long enough until you mature in that area.”
He says, “Now you can have it now.”
Listen. It’s coming. It ain’t the thing Elohiym’s really working on. It’s you who is receiving the thing.
Glory. HalleluYah.
I told you on Sunday, “No” is an answer.
I said, Elohiym answers plenty prayers. “No, you ain’t ready for this yet. Go through a little bit more examination. Develop a little bit more perseverance. Get some more faith built up and strengthened, and then I can release this to you.”
You’ll be amazed how many people left the faith because the message people have been giving people is that you never have trials. And that’s a lie, because the only way to test faith is through trials.
So our ministry, we can endure anything, because sitting next to you are some of the most faithful people I know. We are a testimony to this country. I don’t care what anyone says.
I was talking to a politician in Washington, D.C. recently. One of our politicians was sitting at a table eating, and he had to introduce me. He said, “What can I say about you?”
I can tell you who he is. He said, “Boy, you know you’re one of our greatest native sons.” He said, “But I remember when I used to talk about you.” He said, “That’s something, hey. Life is strange. Now I’ve got to introduce you.”
He’s a minister of government, and he’s got to introduce me.
He said, “The things I used to say, I’m glad you never found out. But I’m proud of you now as our native son. You make us proud. Everywhere I go, they ask for you.”
He’s talking to me, and I’m sitting there thinking, “Wow. Suppose I had quit.”
He stood up, and he said, “This young man is one of the most inspirational men in our nation. He has inspired me. He has encouraged me. He has taught me.”
And he’s gone on all this long stuff about me, and I’m like, “I did that to you?”
It was the test that we survived that made us worthy of the Kingdom of Elohiym.
He says, “I tell you, He will see that you get justice and get it quickly.”
Quickly doesn’t mean in the morning. Quickly means when the time is right, it happens overnight. Bam. Over.
Yo, that’s breakthrough. That’s what I call breakthrough.
Breakthrough is when Elohiym’s timing comes and you’re not even expecting it. Bam. You ain’t got time to pray for no breakthrough.
It’s true. “I was waiting for this thing for a whole six months, and it happened in six minutes.”
Elohiym said, “Yep, that’s the way I work. Quickly.”
Give Elohiym a praise that it’s going to happen to you that way.
Amen, brother. Praise Elohiym.
Look at the last statement in the verse, though. Notice what He says: “When the Son of Man returns…”
He’s going to be looking for one thing—not big house and car and money in the bank.
Where’s your faith?
Will He find faith?
Let’s just thank Elohiym for faith.
Can you just close your Bibles and tell Him you trust Him? No matter what you’re going through, tell Him, “I trust You with this.”
See, that’s faith.
Faith is, “I trust Him. I trust what You said.”
