Fragile, but made Stronger with Prayer.

Hebrews 5:7; Luke 22:39-46; Philippians 2:7; Luke 2:52, 2:46-49; Genesis 2:7; Matthew 6:9-13; 1 Chronicles 4:10

We are walking in today: Fragile, but made Stronger with Prayer.

Hebrews 5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared. Have you ever thought how can you be fragile, yet strong at the same time? I can answer that, prayer changes things. When we come before the Father with prayer and supplication, He begins to strengthen us. I mean some of us will agree, if the wind blows hard right now I will fall apart, but I have a Anchor for my soul through my prayer life. In times of great troubles even Jesus went to the Father in prayer. To me Jesus' prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane is one of the most awesome, most revealing prayers of all. It helps us understand Jesus better and love Him all the more. It is a simple prayer, but not simplistic. I find it profound. Luke 22:39-46 39) And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him. 40) And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. 41) And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, 42) Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. 43) And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. 44) And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. 45) And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow, 46) And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. Let's look at verse 40 on reaching the place He said to them, "pray that you will not fall into temptation." Jesus give His disciples the same advice that He Himself will shortly follow. To pray in the crisis, that the temptation will not get the better of Him. Jesus doesn't encourage them to pray that they won't be tempted. They will be tempted. Temptation is a fact of human life that neither we nor Jesus can escape. Jesus told them to pray that they won't enter into or give into the temptation. How do we resist temptation? Through prayer!!! That's the simple, but vital lesson in our walk. In verse 41, look at our Saviour kneeling in prayer. His posture here is different from any other time we see Jesus. Here Jesus kneels, perhaps, to reflect His urgency and humility. It is remarkable that we see Jesus in this posture only once. Saints take your battlefield position from Jesus--on your knees. Verse 42 of the prayer has four parts: 1 address--Father; 2 condition--If you are willing; 3 petition--take this cup from Me; 4 submission--yet not My will, but Yours be done. Jesus is our greatest example of going to the Father in prayer. Fragile, but made stronger by prayer. Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Who can take dust, shape and form it, then breathe life into it? Fiveamprayer all of our strength comes from the Lord. We are but dust. The will of God is great and creative. We can fail and get out of the will of God, and when we surrender again--God can create a whole new future for us. Jesus has a mission, a destiny. On earth, Jesus wasn't all knowing. This was part of the glory of divinity that He had voluntarily laid aside for a time, as Philippians 2:7 shows, But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. This scripture tells us that He "emptied" Himself. As a baby, of course, He did not know all things; He learned them, in Luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. As a boy He began to comprehend. In His teen years He knew more, as Luke 2:46-49 illustrates, 46) And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. 47) And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. 48) And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. 49) And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? And as He prepared for His ministry before and after His baptism, and then in the desert, the Father revealed to Him, the full scope of the "cup" that He would drink. The destiny to which He was called, the mission He was sent to accomplish. The scriptures spoke to Him as the Father interpreted them to Him. Looking to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith. It's prayer time saints!!! God will reveal Himself to you through your prayer life. Make another request!!! Yea and Amen.
I don't know about you, but I am looking to Jesus this morning. Fiveamprayer, we take our battlefield position--on our knees. Fragile but made stronger by prayer. Jesus prayed, not my will but Your will be done. Fiveamprayer let us pray like Jesus, not our will but the Lord's will be done. God's will be done in our families, marriages, with our children, ministries, and finances. Somebody here needs an example of why we pray. We can seek the Father and be strengthened by prayer. Through our prayers, we can do all things, through Christ which strengthens us. Through our prayers, we can walk by faith and not by sight. Through our prayers, we are more than overcomers. We are fragile but made stronger by prayer. We can request like Jabez, in 1 Chronicles 4:10... that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! We are to pray without ceasing. Pray for increase. Pray for a way out. Pray for a second touch. Pray for a breakthrough. Who the Son sets free, is free indeed. Walk in 1 Chronicles 4:10, walk in Genesis to Revelation, fiveamprayer. It's is prayer time. Thank You Lord for showing us such a powerful prayer. Jesus kneeling in prayer to You, Lord. He has made the crooked places straight, make a way of escape--at our request, through prayer. Fragile but made stronger through prayer. You thought that you were weak--through prayer and fasting we are made stronger in Him. That is how God rescued us during a recession. He makes a way for us, He told us that 2011 is our year of abundance. Jesus died that we would have life more abundant. Abundance is God's will for me and I will not settle for anything less. If God be for us, who can stand against us?! Fiveamprayer, tell the Lord, "to have His way." Pray without ceasing. Tell the enemy that no weapon that is formed against us shall prosper. We serve the great I AM, an all knowing God, the Lord God Almighty. Kneel down on your knees, turn it all over to Him. Nevertheless, His will be done. Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Father, asking for us to be forgiven, for we know not what we do. Thank You Jesus, for intercession! Fragile but made stronger with prayer. We can do all things through Christ which strengthens us. He heard us on yesterday. Make another request. We lift up fiveamprayer, let them know that we are fragile but made stronger by prayer. Keep on praying. In prayer, you are talking to God, telling Him that He is the only one who can fix the situation. We lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown. You taught us how to pray, in Matthew 6:9-13 9) After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10) Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11) Give us this day our daily bread. 12) And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13) And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. Thank You Lord for prayer! There we can find so much power. Lord forgive us for all of our wrongs. Thank You Lord for teaching us the good and the right way. We know that when You forgive there is no condemnation. Have us to forgive others like You Lord, so that we can be forgiven. Look at the power of prayer--fiveamprayer, you better pray without ceasing! You show up and show out, Lord!! Can't nobody get the glory but, You Lord. We won't give up nor turn around. Our Father is with us, fiveamprayer!

We write in the precious blood: 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. Fiveamprayer, when you pray this prayer, cry out to God and exclaim Oh, that thou would bless me...

Welcome to the overflow....
God granted Jabez what he requested. Fragile but made stronger by prayer. Make another request, fiveamprayer. God is answering our thoughts. Make another request. Fragile but made stronger by prayer. Walk in Luke 22:39-46. The greatest example of prayer, Jesus kneeling to the Father in prayer. Take your battlefield position. Make another request, it is prayer time. He makes a way out of no way. Fiveamprayer, you have not because you ask not. Get on your knees, giving Him all the glory and praise. If it had not been for the Lord, who was on your side, where would you be?! Make another request. Hallelujah! It is prayer time. To God be the glory. When the enemy tries to attack--God comes to let you know, He will not be hindered. Jesus, our intercessor, taught us our battlefield position in this scripture. This is a divine destiny connection, because we are united, we have commanded blessings. We come together, every day of the week seeking Him first at 5 am. He is strengthening us. He did not bring us this far to leave us. He won't put more on us, than we can bear. Our response shall be, nevertheless, Your will be done, not ours. Even if we are thrown, bound hand and foot into the fiery furnace like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, we know that the God that we serve shall deliver us. We have a fourth man in the fire with us, Jesus. It is prayer time. What a time to have a prayer conference. He is making a way out of no way for us! Trust Him and believe. Thank You Lord. Thank You Holy Spirit. Everyone that is in business, get ready for increase and overflow blessings. Those on the job, get ready for a promotion. Make another request. Marriages that are under attack, the Lord is reconciling them. What the Lord has put together, let no man put asunder. Make another request. Those that think that they are going crazy--your mind is kept in perfect peace with your mind stayed on Him. The Lord is speaking, "peace be still," to the storms in your mind. Make another request. In your finances, the Lord shall supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory. Make another request. Thank You Lord!! Hallelujah! Prayer will open up closed doors and close open doors. Read the scriptures for yourself today. Fragile, but made stronger by prayer. Have a blessed day!
