It's Time To Make A Request.

1 Chronicles 4:10, 4:9; Jeremiah 33:3; Ephesians 1:3; Psalms 119:32 ; Deuteronomy 3:24; 2 Thessalonians 3:3; John 11:41; 1 Kings 8:56; Philippians 4:6; Daniel 3:25; Joshua 4:24; Jeremiah 32:17; Psalm 138:2

We are walking in today: It's Time To Make A Request.

1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. I must share this word with fiveamprayer, which I received from my own Pastor Anitha Jones on yesterday. The word says you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. Back in the bible days when they named their children, their names had meaning. When you look at verse 9, in 1 Chronicles, chapter 4 it reads, And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, because I bare him with sorrow. When Jabez would hear his name called by his parents, he would hear, 'come here disappointment,' or 'come here with your sorry self.' We must remember it doesn't matter what peoples perception of us is--all that matters is what God said about us. As Pastor Taffe shared on yesterday, that the work that God is doing on the inside may not be apparent to those on the out side. You have no idea of the what God is calling others to do. Fiveamprayer, we can not loose focus because of others perception of us. For those who tuned in to Gospelcntro on Saturday, what a revelation on perception. Thank you so much to Rev. Christine Duncan. The most remarkable person in this chapter is Jabez. We are not told on what account Jabez was more honourable than his brethren; but we find that he was a praying man. The way to be truly great, is to seek to do God's will, and pray earnestly. Here is the prayer he made, Jabez prayed to the living and true God, who alone can hear and answer prayer: and, in prayer he regarded him as God in covenant with His people. He does not express His promise, but leaves it to be understood: he was afraid to seek the promise in his own strength, and resolved to devote himself entirely to God. "Lord, if thou wilt bless me and keep me, do what thou wilt with me; I will be at thou command and disposal forever." As the text reads, this was the language of a most ardent and affectionate desire, "Oh that thou wouldest bless me!!!" Think about it why do you think God granted Jabez's request? "Because you dare to ask Me, I will grant it!!" Jabez got the attention of God. God made a divine decision, to a divine request, because he dared to ask the Lord for something big. He dared to ask God for something that would give God the glory. Those that knew Jabez would not think that he could be increased on His own. The Lord is looking for opportunities to show Himself mighty in your life, fiveamprayer. Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. This was a big little prayer in one verse. Four things Jabez prayed for. 1) That God would bless him indeed. Spiritual blessings are the best blessings: God's blessings are real things, and produce real effects. Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. 2) That He would enlarge his coast. That God would enlarge our hearts, and so enlarge our portion in Himself, and in heavenly places, ought to be our desire and prayer. Psalm 119:32 I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart. 3) That God's hand might be with him. God's hand with us, to lead us, protect us, strengthen us, and to work all of our works in us and for us--is a hand all sufficient for us. Deuteronomy 3:24 O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might? 4) That He would keep him from evil, the evil of sin, the evil of trouble, all the evil designs of his enemies, that they might not hurt, nor make him a Jabez indeed--a man of sorrow. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. God granted that which Jabez requested. God is ever ready to hear prayer: His ear is not now heavy. Fiveamprayer it's time to make a request. Starting today we will pray the prayer of Jabez, til the end of the year and watch God grant our requests. Fiveamprayer, in John 11:41, Jesus lets us know that Lord hears our requests-- Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. When we ask according to His will, He will receive our request!! We shall receive, asking according to His word. 1 Kings 8:56 Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant. Amen Father!!! Glory to Your name!!!
We got up to make a request this morning. Every new day that we receive from God, we are expecting something from Him. We come requesting more: love, joy, peace, time in His presence. We are making a request that will showcase You, Lord. Fill us till we overflow. Strengthen us for the work of our hands. Enlarge our coast. It's time to make a request, fiveamprayer. As the scripture says in, Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Request for the Lord for increase, enlarged territories, give me my mountain, His way--not our way. Teach us Lord, we want to seek You more, be more like You. Fiveamprayer wants more and more of You Lord. You are the Lord who can open a door that no man can shut, and shut a door that no man can open. Hallelujah! We are not consumed in the fire, You are in the fire with us! Daniel 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. We seek You first, You are our all and all. He is the only one who can put us back together. Thank You Lord for letting us know it is time to make a request. When is the last time that you said, not my will but Your will be done? It is all about you Lord--not about us. All of our sufficiency lies in You. It's time to make a request. This is the time and the season to make a request. He is saying, yes. He'll grant what you request. That new business, restored marriages, and enlarged coasts--He will do it for us. We want to show the Lord mighty in the earth. Joshua 4:24 That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever. Thank You for Pastor Anitha Jones, who spoke on this scripture on yesterday. We lift up fiveamprayer, let them know to get ready for their increase, promotions, overflow, overplus. He said He will grant your request. This is request time. Forgive us Lord, sometimes we think things but do not make an actual request. Thank You Lord for forgiving us without condemnation. We must make a request. As Jeremiah exclaims, in chapter 32 verse 17, Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. We must make a request.

We write in the precious blood: 1 Chronicles 4:10, ...Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me...

Welcome to the overflow...
I don't know about you, but I see a breakthrough going on. Abundance is God's will for me, and I will not settle for anything less. Enlarge my coast, Lord. Read 1 Chronicles 4:10, God is granting your requests. If it had not been for the Lord on our side, where would we be!? Can't nobody do that but God! He watches over His word to preform it. Psalm 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. He will increase, overflow, overplus, and promote us. Walk in 1 Chronicles 4:10 from now until the end of the year, and watch how God moves. The best is yet to come, fiveamprayer! Make a request today. God is granting requests. Let the world know who you serve, that it was nobody but the Almighty God of Heaven, who has and is blessing and keeping you. The same God that is and has made a way for us in the wilderness. Deuteronomy 8:2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. Start reading this verse--watch God bless us and heal us with more and more of Him. Fiveamprayer can do all things through Christ which strengthens us. Greater is He that is in us, than he that in in this world. Get ready for a miracle. Walk in the word. Speak and know that God is answering requests. Have a blessed day. Amen, amen.
