Men of Torah Day--No More Toleration! It's Confrontation Time!! Part 7 Since The Most High Places All Authority In Position, Rebellion Against That Authority Is Lawlessness Against The Most High!!!! REBELLION IS WITCHCRAFT!!!!

 Numbers 16

We are walking in today:  Men of Torah Day--No More Toleration! It's Confrontation Time!!  Part 7 Since The Most High Places All Authority In Position, Rebellion Against That Authority Is Lawlessness Against The Most High!!!! REBELLION IS WITCHCRAFT!!!!

Teaching from the book:  Unmasking The Jezebel Spirit, by John Paul Jackson

Witness rebellion  throughout the Bible:  H4775 marad spelled mem, resh, dalet--to rebel, revolt, be rebellious

Isaiah 30:1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:

Torah: Numbers 14:9
Prophets: Nehemiah 2:19; Isaiah 36:5; Ezekiel 2:3; Daniel 9:5, 9:9
Writings: Joshua 22:16, 22:19, 22:29; 2 Kings 18:7, 24:20

Ezekiel 2:5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.

Numbers 16:28-30
28 Moses said, “By this you will know that the Lord sent me to do these deeds and that it wasn’t my own desire. 29 If all these people die a natural death, or if their fate be that of all humans, then the Lord hasn’t sent me. 30 But if the Lord performs an act of creation, and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them and everything that belongs to them, so that they descend alive to their graves, then you’ll know that these men disrespected the Lord.”

Exercising our own will in our desires is witchcraft. Placing our own selves as idols above the authority and submission of the will of Yahweh. To place, one's own will in submission to another's will, witchcraft a form of control outside of the will of the Most High. Man was not meant to control man!! Only to be in obedience to the will and governing of Yahweh, His Torah and His principles as a guideline towards a relationship with one another and the Most High.

Manipulation as a tool and vice can be used knowingly or unknowingly to fulfill the purpose and cause of this Jezebel spirit within its host. Rallying weak minded individuals together in the beliefs and eventual strongholds for its cause. While twisting one's own cognitive intellect to fulfill the selfish purpose of its own. Manipulating others into thinking what is right is wrong and what is wrong is right. Thus manipulating the difference between wrong and right as a normality.

6049. anan ►

Strong's Concordance
anan: to practice soothsaying

Transliteration: anan
Short Definition: witchcraft

NAS Exhaustive Concordance

Word Origin
a prim. root
Definition
to practice soothsaying

The importance of saying once again that we can all be knowingly and unknowingly influenced by this rebellious spirit. As in the rebellion in the beginning of creation with HaSatan. Spreading rebellion and dissension amongst the fallen messengers. So in the times that we live in now. This rebellious spirit is more prevalent than as of old.

Rallying members from every facet of church function--masking proper protocol with the flow of how we personally feel it should be run, versus the flow of the Ruach HaKodesh. Manipulating leaders to follow every instruction given by personal exploits and whims of false functions of the spirit of rebellion other than the spirit of truth... Ruach Hakodesh. Thus creating room for the errors of the spirit of darkness to infiltrate and flow in the operation in counterfeit towards the kingdom of heaven on earth.

When the servitude towards the Most High and His kingdom becomes more of a what I can do for the kingdom. Then what do you want me to do for the kingdom? Then the kingdom of darkness has taken root within one's own soul. And the revelation of this root only comes from the Ruach HaKodesh. Then we have to take a look and destroy the root by His words of the Torah.

Korah had exalted his will above that of Moses. Likewise, a Jezebelite will believe his or her assessment of a pastor’s leadership is correct and attempt to launch a revolt. Since God places all authority in position, rebellion against that authority is lawlessness against God. (I will say more on the spirit of lawlessness in Chapter 9.) For those who operate with a Jezebel spirit, rebellion is at the core of their being. Thinking they have heard from God, they exalt their will above God’s will or above pastoral authority that God has placed over them (Hebrews 13). Whenever our will is served by our desires, we are worshiping our self-interests, not God’s. We, in essence, have become our own idol.

The lesson we learn from the Torah are lights to a darkened world. A road map with every key to unlock freedom. The moment pride steps in men and women, the dishonoring of the Most High's appointed leaders commences. The Jezebel spirit flourishes in rebellion as pride takes a grip of the soul. Causing one to think they are better than their appointed leaders. We see this scenario played out time and time again in the Torah. Beginning with the war in Heaven. HaSatan’s pride; to be better than the Most High. Honoring and humbling under the tutelage of an appointed leader is the same as Yeshiah being the expressed image of Abba. If you cannot honor your appointed leader who you see. How can you honor the Most High whom you cannot see? Men of Torah are not lawless and follow divinely appointed leadership.  Shema Selah we must hear, listen and obey to remove these roots of fear and rebellion!!  Facebook LIVE video

No More Toleration, It’s Confrontation Time!! Part 6, We Must Rightly Divide The Word Of Truth!!!! Watch The Counterfeit!!!

2 Timothy 2

We are walking in today:  No More Toleration, It’s Confrontation Time!! Part 6, We Must Rightly Divide The Word Of Truth!!!! Watch The Counterfeit!!!

Teaching from the book:  Unmaking The Jezebel Spirit by John Paul Jackson

Witness envious throughout the Bible:   H7064 qana' spelled qof, nun, alef--to envy, be jealous, be envious, be zealous

Exodus 20:17 “You must not be envious of your neighbor’s house, or want to sleep with his wife, or want to own his slaves, oxen, donkeys, or anything else he has.”

Torah: Genesis 26:14, 37:11; Deuteronomy 32:21
Prophets: Isaiah 11:13
Writings: Psalms 37:1; Proverbs 24:19
1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud,

2 Timothy 2:15-18
15 Do all you can to present yourself to God as someone worthy of his approval, as a worker with no need to be ashamed, because he deals straightforwardly with the Word of the Truth. 16 But keep away from godless babbling, for those who engage in it will only become more ungodly, 17 and their teaching will eat away at people like gangrene. Hymenaeus and Philetus are among these; 18 they have missed the mark, as far as the truth is concerned, by saying that our resurrection has already taken place; and they are overturning some people’s faith.

A Jezebel spirit may speak in a prophetic voice that sounds familiar, but it turns out to be counterfeit. It is difficult to pinpoint how the powers of darkness deceive and counterfeit God’s voice or presence. Demonic spirits may sound spiritual--they may even use Scripture to achieve their goals. A discerning ear, however, will detect both accuracy and motive.

2 Timothy 2:15-18
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, who have strayed concerning the truth, saying the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some.

Although Paul is speaking of people spreading heresy, the same principle can be applied to those operating under a Jezebel spirit. Like those who promote heresy, individuals who operate with a Jezebel spirit sow falsehood, division, strife, and discord in “the name of the Lord.” In order to combat this corruption and divisiveness, we must become like Timothy, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. The Greek word used for “divide” in this passage is orthotomeo, which means literally to “dissect correctly.” Therefore, with the gift of discernment, we can correctly dissect the hidden motives of someone operating under a Jezebel spirit.

Defensive Posturing
When confronted with the matters described above, an individual with a Jezebel spirit will usually respond with statements like, “I’m just trying to help” or “God told me to do this.” Their response comes from an imagined sense of God’s will. However, this dead-end logic must not be allowed!! The battle lies not in the realm of reason of fighting logic with logic. Here now is given the responsibility of discernment to the pastors. Tragically, many pastors have found themselves lacking the sharpness to overcome the persuasive arguments of a Jezebelite. Many pastors are too distracted with the activities demanded by their congregations. Often a pastor has too little time to spend in the word and in prayer.

Unreasonable and Unyielding
Seeing themselves as spiritually superior, a Jezebelite often believes God has provided a hedge of protection around him or her. Believing they have been highly favored and chosen for some spiritual high place or position. Eventually, such individuals become unteachable and unyielding. Over time, they will become deceived to think they are infallible. They become unable to listen to others, because others “have not had a direct revelation from God” like they have.

Appealing To Others
In God’s Word, a prophet always went directly to the king—not to the people—following the proper protocol of leadership and God opened the door of access to that realm. Seeming to have great spiritual insights into church issues, individuals operating with a Jezebel spirit usually do not share these insights first with the pastor, according to Biblical pattern. It is actually a spirit of rebellion that drives these people to take their insights about the church directly to others. Individuals who give way to a Jezebel spirit do not perceive the value of praying revelation versus speaking it. Deceived by ulterior motives, these individuals appeal directly to others. In doing so, their realm of influence is broadened and the spiritual mysteries they espouse are admired. Thereby, such individuals come to expect honor and adulation from others.

Proverbs 14:12
There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

John 5:44
How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God.

2 Peter 2:2-3
Many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle.

Private Prayer Sessions
When it comes to praying for individuals, Jezebel prefers private places. In this way, hurtful innuendoes, implications, and left-handed compliments that are spoken cannot be heard by others or directly challenged. If confronted, these Jezebelites will usually deny having said anything, or insist they were misunderstood.

Twisting Scripture and Reworking Doctrines
A person operating in a Jezebel spirit will seek to teach church doctrine in order to gain a controlling grip on the Body. However, their doctrines will be incomplete, inaccurate, and full of holes. Scripture will usually be taken out of context and misapplied.

2 Peter 2:1
But among the people there were also false prophets, just as there will be false teachers among you. Under false pretenses they will introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, and thus bring on themselves swift destruction.

Revelation 2:20
But I have this against you: you continue to tolerate that Izevel woman, the one who claims to be a prophet, but is teaching and deceiving my servants to commit sexual sin and eat food that has been sacrificed to idols.

Reckless Words
Those with a Jezebel spirit will seek to gain credibility by speaking prophetic utterances. However, these prophecies are the product of their own imaginations. Those with a Jezebel spirit will seek to gain credibility by speaking prophetic utterances. However, these prophecies are the product of their own imaginations.

Jeremiah 23:32
Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams, says the Lord, and tell them, and cause My people to err by their lies and by their recklessness. Yet I did not send them or command them; therefore they shall not profit this people at all.

False Prophecy
Giving a false prophecy does not simply mean speaking an untrue word. It may mean that a false, lying, and unclean spirit is speaking through a person who is giving a prophetic word. Instead of Holy Spirit-given revelation, the Jezebel spirit uses a spirit of divination. A mature prophet can discern a Jezebel spirit, thus “separating the holy from the profane” remember, the hallmark of the Holy Spirit is always purity, truth, and sincere love.

Acts 16:16
Once, when we were going to the place where the minyan gathered, we were met by a slave girl who had in her a snake-spirit that enabled her to predict the future.

1 Corinthians 14:29
Let two or three prophets speak, while the others weigh what is said.

Ezekiel 44:23
They are to teach my people the difference between holy and common and enable them to distinguish between clean and unclean.

Eagerness To Impart
A Jezebel spirit likes to impart its anointing through the laying-on-of-hands. However, the Jezebelite’s touch carries a curse. If it is not the touch of God, what spirit is touching you? When a Jezebel spirit is imparted, a dark spirit is deposited into its victims. Obviously, an individual with a Jezebel spirit is not someone that you want to have ministering to people in a prayer line! Even if such people are unaware of the Jezebel spirit operating through them, they are still capable of passing on this demonic spirit to others.

Romans 1:11
For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established—.

Appearing Religious
Individuals with a Jezebel spirit will almost always exhibit a religious spirit. They may appear to be the most spiritual individuals that you have ever known. They may portray having deep and intimate relationships with the Holy Spirit. However, a closer inspection will reveal that their actions are based on what they think you need to see, to convince you of their spirituality. Believing they are “special instruments” of God, such individuals often isolate themselves from others and take separate paths, feeding their independent spirit. A religious spirit blinds them to the sober knowledge of the deception they have bought into.

Matthew 6:1
Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them.

Experiences Are Dramatized
It is common for people with a Jezebel spirit to entertain a strange mixture of Christianity, New Age, and eastern religions. Their religious actions are meant to convey many mystical experiences and impress others sufficiently so that they will be accepted in the way they deeply desire. Although every man or woman of God has a sense of destiny and purpose, this divine purpose should not be confused with a Jezebel spirit’s false spirituality. God’s purposes in our lives lead to humility, but Satan’s purposes in our lives cultivate self-promotion. The intent of the heart is always the dividing line between the two.

Family Life In Disorder
Scripture says that before we can be in any type of leadership, our family must be in order, our children in good standing, and our mate in one accord with us (1 Timothy 3:1-4). How can you manifest a prophetic spirit to restore families (Malachi 4:6), if your own family is destroyed or in disarray? You cannot impart what you do not have! Furthermore, you have no authority to impart that which you have not been able to build in your own life. Instability often exists in the family life of someone plagued by a Jezebel spirit. This spirit will breed negative attitudes, behavior, and individuals. Families can be destroyed by this spirit. Individuals who operate in this spirit can be single or married. If a Jezebelite is married, that one’s mate will be spiritually weak, miserable, or unsaved. They often become lazy, sluggish, and repressed. If the spouse is male, he will allow his wife to dominate and control him, but secretly he despises and hates her for it. As she becomes more aggressive, he becomes more reclusive. Sexual intimacy between them takes a back seat to her spiritual needs. He quietly begins to search for other means of meeting his needs.

Looking To Other Men
A woman who operates with a Jezebel spirit may claim that she wants her husband to assume the spiritual leadership of their family and that if he did, she would submit to him. But, if the earlier scripting has been etched on the husband’s soul, nothing will change. Her husband’s weaknesses may cause the Jezebelite to be drawn to and spend time with other men who demonstrate spiritual headship, thus attempting to fill the void in her marriage. Eventually, her husband will become so demoralized that he will cease going to church, preferring to stay home watching television or engaging in other substitutes for his wife’s affection. Especially he may retreat into his vocation, where he can feel manly, in control, and powerful. He ceases to listen with respect to his pastor—after all, how can he listen to a pastor who can’t see through his wife’s spiritual facade? She may coerce the pastor to intervene and act as the head of their household. However, if she is not submissive to her husband, she will not be submissive to the pastor, any other leader—or to God. It’s just a matter of time before the pastor also feels the sting of her emasculating jabs.

Castrating Her Husband
A Jezebel spirit will influence a woman to criticize and belittle her husband, telling him he’s not spiritual enough, bold enough, making enough money, or that he’s holding her back from the ministry God has awaiting her. She may apply subtle, manipulative pressure on him by simply sighing and commenting how nice it would be to have this or that, knowing they can’t afford it. She may also imply that if he really loved her, he would work harder to provide for all her needs and desires. Such manipulative ploys put incredible pressure on a man and increase his resentment. It may also cause him to flee into the arms of another woman who is more sensitive to his needs and who makes him feel appreciated and successful as a husband. In God’s order, the authority over the wife is the husband, the authority over the husband is Christ, and the authority over Christ is God the Father (1 Corinthians 11:3). A person with a Jezebel spirit may talk about submission and obedience to her husband, but both her husband and children know that it’s all talk. It is not reality. Children who grow up in a family environment in which a parent operates with a Jezebel spirit will be profoundly affected as adults, in ways many do not realize.

Watch and pray for everyone even yourselves. As we take a look behind the veils of our flesh to discover the real you. The Torah is the expressed image of the Most High. In it we find freedom and deliverance not only from things seen, but the deep rooted issues that only the Most High knows. Yet there is healing in His wings. For those willing to confront the Counterfeit within themselves and recognize this spirit of Jezebel in others. Become the image and likeness of The Most High. We must truly teshuvah!!! Shema Selah let us pause and consider this teaching on the Jezebelic influence!!  Facebook LIVE video

No More Toleration, It’s Confrontation Time!! Part 5--Flattery is A Deadly Spirit!!!!

Matthew 14

Unmasking the Spirit of Jezebel

We are walking in today:  No More Toleration, It’s Confrontation Time!! Part 5--Flattery is A Deadly Spirit!!!!

Teaching from the book: Unmasking the Jezebel Spirit by John Paul Jackson

Matthew 14:6-8
However, at Herod’s birthday celebration, Herodias’ daughter danced before the company and pleased Herod so much that he promised with an oath to give her whatever she asked. Prompted by her mother, she said, “Give me here on a platter the head of Yochanan the Immerser.” - CJB

Revelation 2:18-21
the angel of the Messianic Community in Thyatira, write: ‘Here is the message from the Son of God, whose eyes are like a fiery flame and whose feet are like burnished brass: I know what you are doing, your love, trust, service and perseverance. And I know that you are doing more now than before. But I have this against you: you continue to tolerate that Izevel woman, the one who claims to be a prophet, but is teaching and deceiving my servants to commit sexual sin and eat food that has been sacrificed to idols. I gave her time to turn from her sin, but she doesn’t want to repent of her immorality. -CJB

We have all in one way or another experienced rejection. The feeling of not being wanted or abandoned, can last a long time in our hearts. And can cause deep seated character flaws, due to not dealing with bigger issue. Masking one's emotions with false characteristic traits, believing that these traits are suited best for our healing. Some choose psychiatrist to help understand these issues (demonic influences). Some choose counseling, or self-help remedies--like chanting and saying mantras. Yet without ultimately trusting in the plans of the Most High and understanding the power of His word alone.

Hebrews 4:1-2
the Word of God is alive! It is at work and is sharper than any double-edged sword — it cuts right through to where soul meets spirit and joints meet marrow, and it is quick to judge the inner reflections and attitudes of the heart. -CJB

Being transformed from within allowing the Ruach HaKodesh to clean out the seed of darkness. Planted by issues (demonic influences) of the past. That were never dealt with properly and has mutated the original to a facade.

In other words, do not let yourselves be conformed to the standards of the ‘olam hazeh. Instead, keep letting yourselves be transformed by the renewing of your minds; so that you will know what God wants and will agree that what he wants is good, satisfying and able to succeed. Romans 12:2-CJB

Flattery Is A Deadly Spirit!!!!!

Herodias was apparently under the Jezebel spirit. In hopes that the mouth of the Prophet John the Baptist, would not speak on the fact that Herod was married illegally to his brother’s wife while secretly lusting Herodias's daughter. Oh I'm sure John had a mouthful to say. Yet Herodias concocted her scheme to have her daughter to use seductive dancing in order to obtain favor from the ruler. The result?  John was beheaded, Herod got both women and Herodias richer lifestyle. Without anyone speaking on this abominable alliance.

We see the Jezebel influence in full operation. Herod's influence by the seductive flattery of Jezebel. Catering to his greed and lust. Coveting his family members wife. By desiring his new wife's daughter. As well as Jezebel's male for Ahab. Showing up in Herod in not making the right decision. When it came to the head of John. Here Jezebelic tools are seen in  flattery, insecurities, lies, corruption, the list goes on--all in Jezebel's tool belt!

Our world becomes much smaller, in contemplating the operation and powerful influence of Jezebel. The operation to kill the voice of prophecy. As John the Baptist was supposed to be that voice at that time.

Malachi 4:5-6
“Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers [a reconciliation produced by repentance], so that I will not come and strike the land with a curse [of complete destruction].” - AMP

Dealing with the issues of the past you could see that Herodias had some deep seated issues with rejection. That were never dealt with, any means to gain power and authority by using flattery and deceit. At the cost of a man's life, integrity and following the Torah. Which in fact this story is about Jerusalem. Torah observing people that have centuries of examples by their forefathers. On how to live godly. Literally a king and his queen once again under the influence of the Jezebel spirit. Nothing new under the Sun. Ahab and Jezebel of old and Herod and Herodias in the new testament. A king not willing to stand up and be the king Yahweh wanted him to be, but succumbing under the influence of the Ahab--spirit the darkness. Inviting every demonic influence to the kingdom. As well as Herodias operating in a mature Jezebel spirit. This is a fully mature spirit bent on steal, kill and destroy--topped off with greed and lust and envy!! Manipulating the situation and coming up with plans to fulfill her own desires.

My testimonial for the Jezebel spirit. In seeing the Spirit in operation throughout my life. I've come to understand that not only does this spirit of Jezebel operate from individuals but also through oneself. When I realize that this has been a systematic occurrence of events. All the way from childhood to adulthood. Picking up demonic influences along the way. Partially due to the influences of Jezebel to kill, steal and destroy. When those who sought out self help books, chanting mantras and speaking to counselors--all because they were not getting fed properly. Or in many cases unaware of the operations of the Jezebelic spirit. Without understanding and discernment, can led to more and more characteristic flaws. Because of not understanding the operation of a kingdom of darkness. The system of this world is so entrenched and engulfed with the kingdom of darkness. All contrary to the ways of the kingdom of Yahweh. Yeshua said that He came to give us life and life more abundantly. The unmasking of the Spirit of Jezebel causes one's spiritual eyes to open wide to see this operation. Yahweh is revealing truth, His truth. To set us free from this deceptive spirit. Its subtleties and operation. Flattery, rejection, abandonment, unloved, hatred, racism, bigotry just to name a few are apart of this system of darkness. Setup to destroy the beautiful crown of the Most High's creation--mankind. It is time for us all to deal with your issues--confront and learn of the Torah because at this point everything you've been taught, needs to be reexamined.  Shema Selah let us pause and consider this teaching, where is the Jezebel spirit gaining entry by flattery??

Weekend Meditation--No More Toleration, It Is Time For Confrontation, Part 4--Are You Being Influenced By The Spirit of Absalom?

 2 Samuel 15

We are walking in today:  Weekend Meditation--No More Toleration, It Is Time For Confrontation, Part 4--Are You Being Influenced By The Spirit of Absalom?

Teaching from the book:  Unmasking the Jezebel Spirit by John Paul Jackson

Witness subtil  throughout the Bible:  H6175 `aruwm spelled alef, resh vav, mem--subtle, shrewd, crafty, sly

2 Kings 10:19 Now therefore call unto me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants, and all his priests; let none be wanting: for I have a great sacrifice to do to Baal; whosoever shall be wanting, he shall not live. But Jehu did it in subtilty, to the intent that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.

Torah: Genesis 3:1
Prophets: 1 Samuel 23:22
Writings: Job 5:12, 15:5; Psalm 83:3

Genesis 27:35 And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing.

2 Samuel 15:4-6 cjb
4 Then Avshalom would continue, “Now if I were made judge in the land, anyone with a suit or other cause could come to me, and I would see that he gets justice!” 5 Moreover, whenever any man came close to prostrate himself before him, he would put out his hand, take hold of him and kiss him. 6 This is how Avshalom behaved toward anyone in Isra’el who came to the king for judgment, and in this way Avshalom stole the hearts of the people of Isra’el.

Spinning the web of deciet
He came from a previous fellowship so he says. Interested in a new faith eager to learn something new. A familiar face was seen in the congregation. So He thought I should hook up with her they seem to know more about this faith. Contacting the individual; as she thought it was cordial to introduce the male to the leader of the group. Then the webs of lies and deceit began to grow throughout the group. As the new member began to have interactions with each member. Causing them to believe the help that was needed and prayed for had arrived. They eagerly accepted the help of this man. Finding out amongst each other that a lot of things didn’t add up promises were broken and they all had been hoodwinked by this person. Most of important the attachment to leadership was accomplished…

Churches targeted by this spirit
No church is too great, too healthy, or too pure to be exempted from an attack by a Jezebel spirit. In fact, the greater the church, the greater the assurance that those with a Jezebel spirit will seek to gain influence and power—unless the pastor, the leadership team, the intercessors, and prophetically gifted individuals exercise their responsibility and withstand this spiritual attack.

Conquering the prophet
The ultimate goal of someone influenced by a Jezebel spirit involves issues of control and in particular, how disagreements with authority figures are handled. Consequently, any prophetic leader carrying a true spiritual authority from God is a threat to someone who operates under this spirit. Since a Jezebel spirit counterfeits the prophetic anointing in gifts, calling, and authority, a prophetic leader will become a target of a Jezebel spirit, as will a church in which the prophetic is held in high regard. A prophetic church and its leaders must realize that if the spirit of Elijah is going to return, so will its counter spirit—the Jezebel spirit.

Divide and conquer
The first move a Jezebel spirit often makes is to gain control by trying to remove the established prophetic authority. If a Jezebel spirit can wedge itself between the people, the pastors, and a prophetic leader, then it will move to overthrow the prophetic leader.

Conquer by joining
To seduce, and thereby, conquer a prophetic leader, someone with a Jezebel spirit will seek to gain favor. This individual will attempt to unite with a prophetic leader in the realm of the spirit, saying “I’m just like you. I seem to know what you’re thinking and feeling. We are kindred spirits.” However, this soulish tie will attack the prophetic leader’s mind, will, and emotions. In some cases, this joining together will display itself with sexual manifestations. This spirit “talks” spiritually, but its strength is born from the power of the soul, and is ultimately deadly to the gifting of its prey. Some goals of this demonic spirit are to dilute revelation, bring about corruption, defilement, disregard, and disdain of God’s true prophetic voice. A Jezebel spirit seeks intimacy with power. It may use fascination and charm in seemingly innocent ways until it gains friendship and confidence—an illegitimate familiarity the person craves. Just as believers are joined by the Holy Spirit, so an individual with a Jezebel spirit seeks to be joined in soul with others under the guise of the union being a spiritual joining.

Ties that bind
You can usually track how godly men or women form soul-tying relationships with an individual who operates with a Jezebel spirit. It begins in the realm of the soul. Both men and women will find emotional needs seemingly being met by this person. For a male leader, this will often translate into sexual needs and desires. The season of seduction may eventually climax in the act of physical adultery. Thus, their ability to keep a covenant is breached. Their influence and authority is forfeited; their ministry is destroyed and God’s Kingdom suffers great loss. For a female leader, this soul tie usually manifests as a consuming and magnetic desire to be around the person influenced by a Jezebel spirit. They will often become best friends or even soul sisters, soul brothers, or soul mates. The person with the Jezebel spirit may attempt to take over the leader’s group. As the relationship deepens, the leader may feel as if he or she is being swallowed or suffocated by Jezebel. Some individuals with a Jezebel spirit form soul ties by praying and by “laying hands on” a prophetic leader, hoping to impart the seed of its spirit. Such people may not know they are imparting a demonic touch. They may also want to pray beside a prophetic leader who is ministering to various individuals. They feel compelled to pray for others, but this urge is not from God.

James 1:14 Rather, each person is being tempted whenever he is being dragged off and enticed by the bait of his own desire.

Subduing pastoral leadership
The prophetic realm is not the only target of a Jezebel spirit. A Jezebel spirit will target a pastor and the church staff, seeking to find the weakest link in order to sever it and gain favor in subtle ways.

Proverbs 7:21-23 King James Version (KJV)
21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him. 22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; 23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.

The Spirit of Jezebel seeks out those of influence and those close to them. The weak and unassuming or the proud and unaware. Absalom was proud and was determined to take authority of his father David’s kingdom. Lest we not forget the missing the mark, David committed with Uriah the Hittites wife and the curse the Most High pronounced over David’s seed. “The Sword shall not leave His House”. So in fulfilling the curse of the 3rd and 4th generation found in the 613 principles. We see that Absalom's usurp to take His father’s throne just like HaSatan--set out to place himself above the Most High. So did the Spirit of Jezebel in Absalom set out in rebellion and corruption. This is not to be taken lightly and must be exposed and dealt with in exact proper protocol.  Shema Selah, wake time to review this teaching all weekend long!!  Thank You Most High for showing us the web of lies woven by the Jezebel spirit!!  Facebook LIVE video

Men Of Torah Day--No More Toleration, It Is Confrontation Time!! Part 3, Men Of Torah, Coming In The Spirit of Elijah!!

Revelation 2

We are walking in today:  Men Of Torah Day--No More Toleration, It Is Confrontation Time!! Part 3, Men Of Torah, Coming In The Spirit of Elijah!!

Teaching from the book:  Unmasking the Jezebel Spirit by John Paul Jackson

Witness confront throughout the Bible:  H6923 qadam spelled qof, dalet, mem--to meet, come or be in front, confront, go before, to confront, anticipate

1 Kings 17:1 And then this happened: Elijah the Tishbite, from among the settlers of Gilead, confronted Ahab: “As surely as God lives, the God of Israel before whom I stand in obedient service, the next years are going to see a total drought—not a drop of dew or rain unless I say otherwise.”

Torah: Deuteronomy 23:4
Prophets: 2  Samuel 22:19, Nehemiah 13:2, Amos 9:10, Jonah 4:2, Micah 6:6
Writings: Job 30:27, Psalm 17:13, 59:10, 79:8, 88:13, 119:147

1 Kings 21:17-19 Then God stepped in and spoke to Elijah the Tishbite, “On your feet; go down and confront Ahab of Samaria, king of Israel. You’ll find him in the vineyard of Naboth; he’s gone there to claim it as his own. Say this to him: ‘God’s word: What’s going on here? First murder, then theft?’ Then tell him, ‘God’s verdict: The very spot where the dogs lapped up Naboth’s blood, they’ll lap up your blood—that’s right, your blood.’”

Revelations 2:18-20 CJB
18 “To the angel of the Messianic Community in Thyatira, write: ‘Here is the message from the Son of God, whose eyes are like a fiery flame and whose feet are like burnished brass: 19 I know what you are doing, your love, trust, service and perseverance. And I know that you are doing more now than before. 20 But I have this against you: you continue to tolerate that Izevel woman, the one who claims to be a prophet, but is teaching and deceiving my servants to commit sexual sin and eat food that has been sacrificed to idols.

1 Kings 19:18-21 CJB
18 Still, I will spare seven thousand in Isra’el, every knee that hasn’t bent down before Ba‘al and every mouth that has not kissed him.” 19 So he left and found Elisha the son of Shaphat. He was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen; he himself was behind the twelfth. Eliyahu went over to him and threw his cloak on him. 20 He left the oxen, ran after Eliyahu and said, “Please let me kiss my father and mother good-bye; then I will follow you.” He answered, “Go; but return, because of what I did to you.” 21 Elisha stopped following him. Then he took the yoke of oxen, slaughtered them, cooked their meat over the wooden yokes of the oxen and gave it to the people to eat. Then he got up, went after Eliyahu and became his servant.

A great example of a corrupting influence was in an episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, entitled, “Paradise Lost,” aliens known as changelings infiltrated key positions in Starfleet. These aliens had assumed human form and had taken the appearance of trusted members of the Federation. Their purpose was to create confusion and fear on the Earth. Just as the changelings sent their agents to sabotage the Federation, Satan sends his own dark forces to disrupt the work of the Church. These demonic agents assume our appearance and speak our language, but their allegiance is to another kingdom. We have to be aware, Fiveamprayer, are those you are walking with, attachments, assignments or allies?  Just as the Federation needed to learn to discern the presence of changelings, so the Body of Christ needs to identify those operating under a spirit of Jezebel. Scott, who pastored a very large Midwestern church, was puzzled about the multiple defections in his leadership team. He had carefully chosen and trained a remarkable team. He now suspected that another staff member was leaving. Then, the light began to dawn: One of his staff members met with a woman who had once been a member of a witch’s coven. She incidentally mentioned that she recognized two women who regularly attended the church as being witches from her former coven. Although it was assumed they were Christians, it was later discovered they were still practicing witchcraft. During the church services, the duo would sit on the front row and quietly chant under their breath. Tragically, these witches were able to derail Scott’s strong leadership team by sending demonic curses against them.

The apostle John gave a warning to the Church at Thyatira, a city in Asia Minor, concerning a person who had embraced the Jezebel spirit. Imagine how the Church in Thyatira felt when they read “I have this against you….” (Revelation 2:4). God gave them a choice: remove the unrepentant Jezebel or suffer God’s judgment. Few, if any, decrees are as dreadful as this one. To fall under God’s judgment is a fearful thing.

Revelation 2:20-28
Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of HaSatan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden. But hold fast what you have till I come. And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations—He shall rule them with a rod of iron; they shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels—as I also have received from My Father; and I will give him the morning star—

Yeshia warned the Church at Thyatira about this spirit. The Jezebel spirit seeks to destroy and silence God’s prophets because in doing so, the enemy destroys the testimony of Yeshia, which is the spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10). By calling herself a “prophetess,” Jezebel from Thyatira was leading God’s bondservants astray.

…and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts—Revelation 2:23. What a solemn and challenging responsibility faced the pastor in Thyatira! Not only was the Lord going to let all the churches know the results of what happened, but He was going to let them know the judgment—or the blessing—that would happen in Thyatira, if they did not repent. In doing so, God not only judged their actions but their hidden motives that allowed them to tolerate Jezebel’s lawlessness.

A singular burden…I will put on you no other burden—Revelation 2:24. The simple yet overlooked phrase in Revelation 2:24 indicates the singular weight of importance that God gave to removing this spirit. The Church at Thyatira was charged with only one task—to remove Jezebel. Since God referred to the task as a “burden,” we can sense the extreme difficulty of removing a prophetess who was in leadership.

THE REWARDS OF RIGHTEOUS AUTHORITY
Exercising righteous authority has a reward that corresponds to the very thing we have overcome. The pastor who overcomes a Jezebel spirit that seeks to usurp his or her rule will be given a greater sphere of rule and authority. This was what the apostle John said when he wrote the Lord’s admonition to the Church in Thyatira

Revelation 2:26-28.
And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations—He shall rule them with a rod of iron; they shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels—as I also have received from My Father; and I will give him the morning star—

Watchmen at the gate
It is imperative to be discerning about those who bring destruction to the Church. It is, therefore, the role of humble intercessors to stand as watchmen at the Church’s gate. It is the responsibility of intercessors to sound the alarm when they discern someone who might injure the fold. Consequently, it is vital for every church to have a strong intercessory ministry in order to prevent the spirit of Jezebel from doing its destructive work.
There are several ways their true spirit becomes evident. One way is through their words. Jesus said:
…For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things—Matthew 12:34-35.
If Jezebelic tendencies exist in an intercessor’s heart, then eventually it will be revealed through that person’s speech and/or actions. Such a person will sow lawlessness or divisiveness in a church. However, a true watchman does not use his or her position to challenge and belittle pastoral authorities. Rather, the intercessor humbly lifts them up by praying for them. Another way a true watchman becomes evident is by the fruit of his or her spirit. Scripture clearly defines what the fruits of the Spirit are:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law—Galatians 5:22-23.

We must watch to see and to know those who labor among us. We must know them deeply—what they believe, what they listen to, and what they say when they pray.
Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit—Matthew 12:33.

How will we respond? Will we recognize and confront this counterfeit and destructive voice? Will we deal with our own issues that may blind us or cause us to overreact? Men of Torah, we must recognize our own issues not to condemn us to hell bu,t the need and awareness for correction. We establish our will in submission to the Most High and are led by His Ruach HaKodesh. For conviction, correction and guidance. As we see in our homes communities and places of worship--the operation of this spirit that controls male and female alike. Confrontation is a must lest we take on the warning of tribulation from the Most High for tolerating wickedness. Throw it out lest the rotten fruit spoil the whole bunch. Up hold our leaders and mentors with a prayerful and watchful eye. Staying vigilant--my prayer is that men would place no one but the Most High in His majesty first and foremost and have the ear to listen to wisdom. Understanding and acquire knowledge to lead and guide our families and lives from destructive spirits such as Jezebel and Ahab.

Luke 1:17  He will go out ahead of Adonai in the spirit and power of Eliyahu to turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous, to make ready for Adonai a people prepared.”  Shema Selah let us pause and consider this teaching walk in the spirit of Elijah, no more toleration, it is time for confrontation!!  Facebook LIVE video

No More Toleration, It Is Confrontation Time!! Part 2, Unholy Alliances!!!

We are walking in today:  No More Toleration, It Is Confrontation Time!! Part 2, Unholy Alliances!!!

Teaching from the book--Unmasking The Spirit of Jezebel!!! By John Paul Jackson

Witness allied throughout the Bible:  H2266 chabar spelled chet, beit, resh--to unite, join, bind together, be joined, be coupled, be in league, heap up, have fellowship with, be compact, be a charmer, allied

Genesis 14:13 A man who had escaped came and reported this to Abram the Hebrew. Now Abram was living near the great trees of Mamre the Amorite, a brother of Eshkol and Aner, all of whom were allied with Abram.

Torah: Genesis 14:3
Prophets: Daniel 11:6, 11:23
Writings: 2  Chronicles 20:35-37; Psalms 94:20

2 Chronicles 18:1[ Micaiah Prophesies Against Ahab ] Now Jehoshaphat had great wealth and honor, and he allied himself with Ahab by marriage.

1 Kings 21 in its entirety key verse 25

1 Kings 21:25  Truly, there was never anyone like Ach’av. Stirred up by his wife Izevel, he gave himself over to do what is evil from Adonai’s perspective.

Revelations 2:18-20
18 “To the angel of the Messianic Community in Thyatira, write: ‘Here is the message from the Son of God, whose eyes are like a fiery flame and whose feet are like burnished brass: 19 I know what you are doing, your love, trust, service and perseverance. And I know that you are doing more now than before. 20 But I have this against you: you continue to tolerate that Izevel woman, the one who claims to be a prophet, but is teaching and deceiving my servants to commit sexual sin and eat food that has been sacrificed to idols.

1 Kings 19:18-21
18 Still, I will spare seven thousand in Isra’el, every knee that hasn’t bent down before Ba‘al and every mouth that has not kissed him.” 19 So he left and found Elisha the son of Shafat.

Fiveamprayer oh yes here we go again, but this time protocol will be followed and masks will be revealed--most of all tolerance will be know more!!!

Unholy Alliances
Nelson took another sip of coffee and continued to watch the attractive young woman. She was tastefully dressed in a dark suit and had the look of optimism—a confident handshake and direct eye contact, while soulfully engaging people in conversation. With her penetrating charisma, the woman was vivacious and enthusiastic. She had the ability to draw people to her. She was fun to be with and seemed to be a devoted student of the Bible. Nelson’s church was beginning to shrink. Individuals that he had earmarked for leadership had left. To fill their void, Nelson needed to find new leaders. Each month his desperation increased, as the money from tithes and offerings continued to shrink. During their times together, the woman suggested her theories on how to increase church membership. A savvy businesswoman, she created a blueprint to steer the church towards a position of dominance. Over the ensuing months, she became more entrenched in the church and began to lead a women’s Bible study group. At the same time, Nelson was puzzled by the woman’s beliefs. She seemed to be in touch with the spirit, however, it seemed to be a “dark spirit.” This spirit had told her to do unusual things, some of which had previously resulted in immorality. Despite this, Nelson and his wife loved being around this woman. Seeing her potential, they met with the woman often and attempted to mentor her. As they placed their hopes in her, young women in the church began to rally around this woman. While her influence grew, Nelson’s diminished like a slow leaking tire. Each month, the church continued to shrink in members. Then, Nelson’s wife began to suffer various illnesses, and his mind became filled with sexual fantasies. To make matters worse, his once amiable church staff became divisive and their vibrant small-groups program began to dwindle. One day, Nelson called and asked for help. As I began to seek God, a dream came, allowing me to see through the enemy’s smoke screen. I relayed what God had shown me, which he affirmed as accurate. But Nelson and his wife still seemed torn. Stalled by indecision and confusion, they continued to give the woman responsibility, leadership, and authority within the church. They admitted that she might occasionally receive counsel from a “spirit guide.” Nonetheless, they loved this woman and wanted to help her. What were they to do?

What I have just described is called an unholy alliance—a relationship that draws you inevitably to dire results, even though you are aware the person willfully continues to sin. Furthermore, it is evident from Scripture that God does not sanction such a person being given a leadership position within the church.

We can find ourselves in many similar but different instances. The attachment of someone sucking the very life out of your as you see your quality of life dwindle and decay...unwise association. What fellowship has light with darkness?

Divided Loyalties
As we read in 1 Kings about Ahab and Jezebel and their arranged marriage. Israel was never to marry foreign pagan nations only amongst the nation of Israel. To marry Jezebel would form and unholy alliance and cause the entry of pagan worship, child sacrifice and sexual sins. For Jezabel was called a prostitute and harlot.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not yoke yourselves together in a team with unbelievers. For how can righteousness and lawlessness be partners? What fellowship does light have with darkness?

Deadly Diva
Jezebel had learned treachery from her father, Ethbaal, whose name meant “like unto Baal.” Ethbaal had become king by plotting murder. Thereby, Jezebel’s penchant for murder had generational roots. Eliminating someone’s life was merely incidental to achieving an objective. Jezebel was no ordinary woman. She had a flair for the dramatic. Every action she took, every word she spoke must have been done with great passion and unholy abandonment.

Peace at any Cost
A spirit of Ahab symbolizes the abdication of authority, or at the very least, passive authority. It bespeaks of a mind-set that avoids confrontation and denies fault. The spirit of Ahab loves the position it has and fears confrontation.

Placating Leaders
Like many leaders today, Ahab’s reign was characterized by trying to placate and pacify Jezebel’s demands. He tolerated Jezebel’s abominable decrees and practices. Many pastors embrace an individual influenced by a Jezebel spirit because the person appears to have leadership skills or spiritual insight that a pastor thinks will help their church grow.
Avoiding Confrontations
It takes a courageous pastor to confront the strength and obstinacy of a Jezebel spirit. By their actions, individuals with a Jezebel spirit will reveal a pastor’s strengths and weaknesses.

Conspiring With Darkness
If a pastor feigns ignorance of Jezebel’s wrongdoing, the pastor may become a kindred spirit. Knowingly or unknowingly, the pastor will align himself or herself with this spirit. Their methods and goals will begin to parallel one another. A pastor will also quickly discover that he or she can accomplish their goals by exploiting his or her spiritual mirror image, becoming a conspirator with darkness. One of two judgments will come to such pastors, unless they recognize their error and repent. They will either fully embrace a Jezebel spirit and become puppet kings subject to strong delusion, heavy depression, and indecision even in the smallest matters. Or, they and their churches will face spiritual famine. God’s manifest presence will be removed from their midst. Only the memory of His presence will remain. Most likely, they will not perceive this as God’s judgment.

Tolerating The Enemy
When a pastor has a trusted friend who begins to show traits of the Jezebel spirit, it becomes easy for the pastor to justify the person’s rebellion or to simply ignore it. Generally, pastors demonstrate tolerance toward those who are “friends.” However, the trust and loyalty given to a friend will create a blind spot.

Fruits Of Tolerance
Just as Ahab permitted Jezebel to sacrifice children as a form of worship, so our permissive spirit allows the Jezebel spirit to remain. Through self-promoting, controlling, and manipulative schemes, this spirit also seeks to abort those who are young or immature in the Lord. Moreover, this spirit welcomes false teachers who are driven by the intellectual power of the soul. Beloved, the hour has come for a new mandate. It is rising up in the land and gaining momentum. God is empowering His Church with boldness and zeal brought about by true apostolic and prophetic voices. In this hour, God desires the spirit of prophecy, which is the testimony of Jesus, to be vibrant in every church. The prophetic spirit will reveal that which is hidden.

1 KINGS 21:25
But there was no one like Ahab who sold himself to do wickedness in the sight of the Lord, because Jezebel his wife stirred him up

Victorious Battles
At this point in history, a great battle awaits God’s representatives—the shepherds of His Church. Pastors are being summoned by the Lord to take on the spirit of valor and to stand up as true kings. Just as Jehu’s commission was to rid God’s Kingdom of the defiling and demoralizing influences of Ahab and Jezebel, a call is going forth today to remove those same apostate spirits from the Church.
2 Kings 9:6-7
Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘I have anointed you king over the people of the Lord, over Israel…that I may avenge the blood of My servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the Lord, at the hand of Jezebel.

Family we must confront and not tolerate that which The Most High has called in our lives unholy alliances. Lest we ourselves are tormented by giving ourselves over to that which was already conquered. No More Toleration Friends family ourselves loved ones. No if it’s not a holy alliance than put Jehu on it.  Shema Selah, let us pause and consider this teaching--no more toleration of the Jezebel Spirit!!  Facebook LIVE video

No More Toleration, It's Time For Confrontation!!

Revelation 2

We are walking in today:  No More Toleration, It's Time For Confrontation!!

Unmasking The Spirit of Jezebel!!! By John Paul Jackson

Witness suffer throughout the Bible:  H5414 nathan spelled nun, tav, nun-- grant, permit, ascribe, suffer

Exodus 12:23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

Torah: Genesis 20:6, 31:7; Numbers 21:23
Prophets: 1 Samuel 24:7
Writings: Joshua 10:19, Judges 1:34, 3:28, Psalm 55:22, 66:9, 121:3,

Psalm 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer H5414 thine Holy One to see corruption.

Round 2 Fiveamprayer--here we go again. This time protocol will be followed and masks will be revealed--most importantly, tolerance will be know more!!

The person that we students of the word know as Jezebel as the foreign queen married to King Ahab of Israel. This woman with the help of her non-confrontational King/husband ushered in an era of apostasy against the commandments The Most High gave Israel to live by. Idolatry and worship of pagan gods and their systems. The holy prophets of the Most High was changed for priest of Jezebels god Baal.  These gods—Baal, the male deity of power and sexuality, and Ashtoreth, the female goddess of fertility, love, and war. Baal and Ashtoreth rituals involved depraved and licentious sexual practices and abominations. The worship of these idols appealed to the bestial and material elements in human nature. The Baal idol resembled the male sexual organ while the altar to Ashtoreth resembled the female sexual organ. More than 450 prophets of Baal and 400 prophetesses of Ashtoreth served Jezebel’s depraved and carnal desires. Human lives were often sacrificed to appease her pagan deities. Decreeing throughout providence to worship and sacrifice to these demons. The cry came up for the need to return to the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. Elijah the prophet was called to confront this demonic couple that boastfully exalted their beliefs above truth and causing all the nation to following and drink their mixed wine.

To have this much power and to change the mindset of thousands of years of tradition--shows me the people were not engaged in a personal relationship with the Most High. Enter in, the wilderness experience in Exodus. Even though the Most High lead them with a cloud by day and fire by night. The children of Israel still took their eyes off of Him.

Exodus 13:21 Adonai went ahead of them in a column of cloud during the daytime to lead them on their way, and at night in a column of fire to give them light; thus they could travel both by day and by night. 22 Neither the column of cloud by day nor the column of fire at night went away from in front of the people.

But what about the Spirit of Jezebel? Do we truly know that this Spirit can not only operate in women but in men as well and in many forms. The recognition and confrontation takes proper protocol because the damage could be devastating. Due to the cunning and pervasiveness of this spirit that operates in our homes communities and places of worship. We’re not just talking about a strong minded woman nor just a promiscuous woman. Or a push over of a man who won’t stand up for anything other than fear. But a cold calculative manipulating goal setting person who plans to take over or sabotage the ministry people’s lives and communities.

We are on the threshold of the greatest move of God in the history of the world! God wants to visit us in an unprecedented way. This book was written as a call to a prophetic generation that was foretold in Scripture by the prophet Joel. He described a remarkable generation that would have the spirit of God poured out upon them without measure. Under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, prophetic utterances would arise from both men and women, young and old.

Joel 2:28-32 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit. 30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of Jehovah cometh. 32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of Jehovah shall be delivered; for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those that escape, as Jehovah hath said, and among the remnant those whom Jehovah doth call.

While the term “Jezebel spirit” is used in some charismatic circles, few people truly understand how this demonic force operates. A Jezebel spirit is a celestial power that has worldwide influence. It is not simply a demon that possesses an individual. It is a demonic power in the heavenly realm that transcends specific geographical boundaries and can affect nations. Whatever region this power enters, it co-joins and collaborates with the ruling principality of that territory. Jezebelic powers operate in conjunction with principalities and powers that torment people. These demonic powers include spirits of religion, manipulation, control, lust, perversion, and the occult. These spirits often work in concert with a Jezebel spirit to build strongholds in a person’s mind. When a Jezebelic stronghold is established in a person’s mind,  “coming under the influence of a Jezebel spirit.” At the moment this occurs, the individual’s rational, reasoning process begins to deteriorate. His or her thoughts and actions become distorted.

Ephesians 6:12  For we are not struggling against human beings, but against the rulers, authorities and cosmic powers governing this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm.

Careful and in depth  study, as we confront our tolerance for this spirit, the Most High says in Revelation that He has one thing against us and that is that we tolerate this Spirit. I’m sorry but if the creator of all things says to me well done for this but on that you didn’t do a good job and I’m against you. I know I might want to find out why!!! Walk with us in the cool of the day as we confront Jezebel with no toleration and show you how to be set free.  Shema, Selah let us pause and consider this teaching, where do you see Jezebel operating in your life?!  Facebook LIVE video

Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for want of knowledge.
Because you rejected knowledge,
I will also reject you as cohen for me.
Because you forgot the Torah of your God,
I will also forget your children.

Weekend Meditation--When A Protégé Learns To Sit, He Will One Day Stand!! The Principle of the Protégé, Part 10 the conclusion!

Matthew 10

We are walking in today:  Weekend Meditation--When A Protégé Learns To Sit, He Will One Day Stand!! The Principle of the Protégé, Part 10 the conclusion!

Witness sit throughtout the Bible:   H3427 yashab spelled yod, shin, beit--to dwell, remain, sit, abide,
to sit, sit down, to be set, to remain, stay

Genesis 18:1 [ The Son of Promise ] Then the Lord appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamre, as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day.
Torah: Genesis 27:19; Exodus 18:14; Deuteronomy 6:7
Prophets: 1 Samuel 20:5; 2 Samuel 19:8; Ezekiel 33:31; Micah 7:8; Zechariah 3:8, 6:13
Writings: Judges 3:20; Ruth 3:18; 1 Kings 1:13
Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth  in the seat of the scornful.

Matthew 10:24 “A talmid is not greater than his rabbi, a slave is not greater than his master.

As we look to the mentor and protege relationship we must shift from the Western understanding to an Eastern one! A great example is seen in the Karate Kid movies.  We see that Daniel the protege/karate student in a variety of seemingly meaningless chores.  He even complains as we would as well, with our Western eyes, are you gonna teach me anything except how to wax your car?!?  But is goes farther than that--there was a specific way he was to do each of the chores.  Can you imagine getting instructions on what you already know how to do?!  Yet as the movie progresses we find that Daniel may have done those chores before but not correctly.  The Most High sends you to a mentor to bring correction. We don't really want correction we want to hear that we are doing a good job whether it is true or not!  The mentor does not want a mediocre protege yet the desire to excel resides with the protege in following the instruction of the mentor. So we get to see that Mr. Miyagi made Daniel build a room onto his house, paint the fence and wax his car. All the while preparing him mentally and physically for the skills to enter the next level of training led by his Master.

As can be seen that in each movie, the student/protege had to be learn to sit at the feet of the master/mentor in this close relationship the skill transfer begins and grows as the student later becomes a master themselves!! Eventually they stood undefeated and developed the skill set, technique, and wisdom of their Master… ( Knowledge wisdom and understanding)

1 Corinthians 11:1 try to imitate me, even as I myself try to imitate the Messiah.

1 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore I urge you to imitate me.

Principles from the Jewish Method of Mentoring

1) The mentor and protégé must form a close, personal Bond

Mark 10:28 Kefa began saying to him, “Look, we have left everything and followed you

Mark 14:31  But Kefa kept insisting, “Even if I must die with you, I will never disown you!” And they all said the same thing.

2) The protégé should seek to serve the mentor

2 Kings 3:11  God said to him, “Because you have made this request instead of asking long life or riches for yourself, or your enemies’ death, but rather asked for yourself understanding to discern justice

Matthew 10:24 (KJV) The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

Luke 6:46 (KJV) And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

3) The protégé will study under the mentor

Finally, the posture of a protégé will be as that of a hungry student of God’s Word. Many rabbis consider the study of God’s Torah the highest form of worship. When the protégé comes before the
mentor to learn, he humbly submits himself to learn God’s Word.

When A Protégé Learns to Sit, He Will One Day Stand

Acts 22:3 (KJV)  I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.

Paul was faithful to his mentor, Gamaliel. As was customary for the Hebrews, Paul served, followed, and learned from his rabbi. The bond between Paul and Gamaliel was so strong that history tells us that Gamaliel as a strict Pharisee would eventually worship and serve his protégés Savior, Jesus the Christ. Paul was a faithful and loyal protégé when he sat at the feet of Gamaliel. One day, Paul the mentor taught the same Jewish principles of mentoring to the Gentile church of Corinth.

1 Corinthians 4:15-17 (KJV) 15 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. 16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. 17 For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into.  Shema Selah let us pause and consider this weekend meditation!!!  The time for sitting before the protege can stand!!  Facebook LIVE video

Covered In the Dust of Rabbi Yeshua!!! The Principle of the Protégé, part 9

Acts 22

We are walking in today:  Covered In the Dust of Rabbi Yeshua!!! The Principle of the Protégé, part 9

Witness wait, tarry throughout the Bible:  H6960 qavah spelled qof, vav, hey --to wait or look eagerly for, to lie in wait for, to wait for, linger for, tarry

Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

Torah: Genesis 49:18
Prophets: Isaiah 8:17, 26:8, 33:2, 40:31, 49:23, 51:5, 59:9, 60:9; Jeremiah 14:22; Hosea 12:6
Writings: Job 6:19, 30:26; Psalms 25:3, 25:5, 27:14, 37:9, 39:7, 40:1, 52:9, 69:6, 119:95, 130:5; Proverbs 20:22; Lamentations 3:25

Micah 5:7 Then the remnant of Jacob Shall be in the midst of many peoples, Like dew from the Lord, Like showers on the grass, That tarry for no man Nor wait for the sons of men.

Acts 22:3
3 “I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city and trained at the feet of Gamli’el in every detail of the Torah of our forefathers. I was a zealot for God, as all of you are today

*When God develops the protégés character, He’s never in a hurry. *

The lesson of patience is a very precious character trait to learn. As one of the fruits of the Ruach HaKodesh it is a gift from above. As a part of the image and likeness that we followers of The Most High grow into. Some just have it off the back as a part of their Super Human make up, but as a protégé we learn that patience is developed through trials and error and the end results always out weighs the journey. We learn to trust in the plans of the Most High, who promises a favorable end as a result of us trusting in Him and not the circumstances we go through. That every trail we go through is a process to promotion. That the Most High allows these things to happen to us as a means for us to grow out of our own comfortability.

Galatians 5:22-23 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 humility, self-control. Nothing in the Torah stands against such things.

Proverbs 3:5-6 5 Trust in Adonai with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him; then he will level your paths.

Here are some of the examples of Torah characters that practiced patience they knew all to well. The Most High is never in a hurry to promote. Some of them took years to obtain their promotion through hard and harsh conditions. But the end, resulted in their good and they were blessed with more than anything they lost.

Principles from the Promotion of Joseph:
1. Joseph expected promotion because he dreamed of promotion at an early age (Genesis 37:5-6, 9 “And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.
And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed.”)

2. Joseph learned that people who aspire to promotion will have to tolerate cynics and jealousy. (Genesis 37:8-9)

3. Joseph did not allow the pain of the past to hinder his promotion. (Genesis 41:51-52

4. Joseph learned that you can be promoted and life a life of prosperity in the same place you are persecuted. (Genesis 45:11)

5. Joseph used his promotion and prosperity to be a blessing to others. (Genesis 45:11, 47:12)

6. Joseph knew that promotion comes from the accumulation of knowledge and the application of wisdom. (Genesis 41:39

7. Joseph served and honored those in authority over him. (Genesis 39:3-4, 21-21)

8. Joseph believed that the injustices of men were past of God’s Master Plan and that he would always come on top. (Genesis 45:5-7)

9. Joseph was not timid to use and promote his God-given gift. (Genesis 40:14-15)

10. Joseph knew that immorality would sabotage promotion. (Genesis 39:8-9)

11. Joseph showed great respect to his parents – knowing that promotion is the reward of honoring your parents.

12. Joseph practiced servant hood his entire life. (Genesis 39:4, 40:4)

13. Joseph knew that promotion comes to those who plan ahead. (Genesis 41:5-6)

14. Joseph never blamed others for negative circumstances in his life. (Genesis 40:14-15)

My Favorite

Principles from the Promotion of Daniel:
1. Daniel knew that promotion comes to protégés who are disciplined, and have made up their minds for success.

Daniel 1:8, “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.”

2. Daniel knew that promotion comes to protégés who do what mediocre aren’t willing to do so that they can have what other mediocre people don’t have. (Daniel 1:11-16)

3. Daniel experienced promotion because he was not intimidated by his enemies. (Daniel 6:4-10)

4. Daniel knew that promotion comes through prayer. (Daniel6:10)

5. Daniel lived a life of promotion because he was a man of excellence – he always did his very best. (Daniel 6:1-3)

6. Daniel knew that promotion comes when the right people work together. (Daniel 2:49)

7. Daniel surrounded himself with high quality people. (Daniel 1:17-20)

8. Daniel knew the power of fasting. (Daniel 9:3, 10:2-3)

9. Daniel did not bow the knee to people in an attempt to get promoted but he let God be His judge. (Daniel 4:23-27)

10. Daniel knew that promotion comes to the humble. (Daniel 2:30)

Principle from Promotion of Esther:
1. Esther did not allow loss and grief to hinder her promotion. (Esther 2:7-10)

2. Esther valued the council of her mentor. (Esther 2:10)

3. Esther was teachable, correctable, and willing to adapt to a higher level of excellence and expectation. (Esther 2:8-9, 15-18)

4. Esther knew that if she desired to be promoted, she had to make herself desirable for the position of promotion. (Esther 2:12)

5. Esther was willing to invest the time necessary to improve herself. (Esther 2:8-15)

6. Esther valued connection with a higher authority. (Esther 4:11, 15, 5:1-2)

7. Esther knew that proper protocol leads to promotion. (Esther 5:1-2)

8. Esther engaged in a cause more important than her survival. (Esther 8:4-6)

9. Esther knew that there were some things worth the risk of rejection. (Esther 7:1-4, 8:3-6)

10. Esther was patient and knew that importance of timing. (Esther 5:1-8, 7:1-10)

Principles from the Promotion of Ruth:

1. Ruth refused to establish her life upon negativity and grief. Ruth 1:16-17, “And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: 17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.”

2. Ruth did not allow her mentor’s lack of charisma and intrigue to stop her following her mentor. (1:10-13)

3. Ruth refused to leave her mentor – even when it seemed her mentor had nothing to give her. (1:14)

4. Ruth did not allow the decisions of another to persuade her to leave her mentor. (1:15)

5. Ruth was willing to pay a great price of sacrifice to stay with her mentor. (1:16-17)

6. Ruth was willing to go where she had never been to create something she had never had. (1:16-19)
7. Ruth followed her mentor. (1:16-17)

8. Ruth submitted herself to the authority of her mentor and discovered the power of asking approval. (1:2)

9. Ruth learned that faithfulness to your mentor will connect you with someone who can bless you. (2:3)

11. Ruth discovered that productive men are responsive to productive women. (2:15-16)

12. Ruth gained a reputation for serving and caring for her mentor. (2:11)

13. Ruth learned that there is always someone observing you who is capable of greatly blessing you. (2:5-6)

13. Ruth took a part of her blessing and shared it with her mentor. (2:16-18)

14. Ruth was transparent and open about her needs. (2:7,10)

15. Ruth lived a life of thankfulness and gratitude. (2:10-13)

16. Ruth discovered that God can get anyone to you – no matter where you are. (2:3)

17. Ruth followed the recommended protocol of her mentor. (3:1-3)

18. Ruth was aggressive and obedient in listening to her mentor. (3:5)

19. Ruth was willing to make any changes necessary to adapt to her new season in life. (3:1-3)

20. Ruth respected the mentorship of an older and more experienced woman. (3:3-5)

21. Ruth discovered that promotion can cause you to forget the pain of the past. (4:11-12)

22. Ruth took care of her mother-in-law, her mentor, better than seven sons. (4:15)

The Principle of Posture

One’s posture is said to be a key indication of proper upbringing. Good health and confidence. But what of the main scripture. Paul’s statement says that He sat at the foot of his Rabbi's feet. I just picture Paul latterly growing up from a child into a man sitting in front of a Rabbi learning...but it is a little deeper than that. What does it mean to be brought up “at the feet” of someone? The Hebrew and those in the East were very familiar with this description. To sit at someone’s feet spoke of the mentoring relationship between a rabbi and his disciple. Hebrews were very familiar with this concept. “An apprentice gains firsthand knowledge by watching how an expert works. So too with wisdom. Don’t read about it in a book; find yourself an expert.” One should establish a relationship with a Rabbi and one should acquire a friend. No matter how learned or how great or how mature, an individual can never live a productive life on owns own. A person needs these two relationships with others to function in a healthy fashion.” When a Hebrew comes into a relationship with a Rabbi, they immediately posture themselves correctly. The disciple will immediately subordinate himself and accept the Rabbi as his superior and nullify his position before his. The posture of a protégé will determine the success or failure of the relationship. If the protégé refuses to posture himself in a position of humility and subordination, the relationship will quickly become unfruitful. A popular saying among Hebrews shows the correct posture of a protégé in relation to his mentor: “Let your house be a meeting place for the rabbis, and cover yourself in the dust of their feet, and drink in their words thirstily.”

Rabbis would sit on low pillows while teaching. The disciples would sit on mats or on the ground. This description of being covered in the dust of their feet has two meanings:

1) The practice of the protégé sitting on the floor was a way of showing honor and preference to the rabbi. Although it was only a small elevation, the protégé postured himself in a position to learn and receive.

2) The description of being covered in the dust of the feet of the Rabbi speaks of the protege following so closely behind the Rabbi that he becomes covered with the dust swirling up from his teacher’s sandals. This is a beautiful posture of pursuit and aggressive following.

Ezekiel 20:1 (KJV)  And it came to pass in the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month that certain of the elders of Israel came to enquire of the Lord, and sat before me.

Zechariah 3:8 (KJV)  Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee:

So as we see being covered in the dust of our mentors that follow after the examples Yeshiah showed us--is meant for us to prosper but first we have to submit to the process humbling ourselves to be lifted up and not the other way around. In due time the reward or promotion will be obtained, all in The Most Highs perfected timing. Selah Shema let us pause and consider this teaching of the dust of the rabbi!  Facebook LIVE video

Men of Torah Day--Men Understanding That Promotion Comes From The Most High--Protocol of the Protege Part 8

Psalm 75

We are walking in today:  Men of Torah Day--Men Understanding That Promotion Comes From The Most High--Protocol of the Protege Part 8

Witness promote  throughout the Bible:  H7311 ruwm spelled resh, vav, mem---to rise, rise up, be high, be lofty, be exalted, to be raised, be uplifted, be exalted, to raise, lift, lift up, take up, set up, erect, exalt, set on high, promote

2  Samuel 22:49 And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered  me from the violent man.

Torah: Genesis 7:17, 41:44; Exodus 14:8, 15:2; Deuteronomy 32:27
Prophets: 1 Samuel 2:1, 2:8, 2:10; 2  Samuel 22:47; Ezra 9:6, 9:9; Isaiah 6:1, 25:1, 26:11, 30:18, 37:23, 57:14-15, 62:10; Ezekiel 21:26; Hosea 11:7, 13:6
Writings: 1 Kings 14:7; 2 Kings 19:22, Job 17:4, 21:22; Psalms 9:13, 12:8, 18:27, 18:46, 27:5-6, 30:1, 37:34, 61:2, 66:7, 99:2, 138:6; Proverbs 3:35, 4:8, 14:34; Lamentations 2:17

Psa 75:6-7
6 For promotion H7311 cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. 7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Psalm 75:6-7
7 (6) For you will not be raised to power by those in the east, the west or the desert;
8 (7) since God is the judge; and it is he who puts down one and lifts up another.

Abba, I pray that you speak to us as we hear you speak. Amen.

Men we are taught to provide for our families as Yeshua provided for The Church (us). The proclamation on the sons of Adam passed to all generations. Till the Son of God redeemed His chosen from before the foundations of the earth.

The problem is that the godless society we live in teaches the system of man and that not of The Most High. Wherein we work for other men that only promote and value our worth by the all so mighty mammon, the dollar bill. While The Most High promotes from the principles of the protégés system.

*Promotion Comes from the Lord*

• Going after promotion is not wrong; searching for it in the wrong places is.
• Searching for promotion in the wrong places will result in manipulation and deceptions.

• The protégé must remember that God is the judge of the whole earth. (;)

• Ultimately, the mentor is not the promoter – he can only do what God has already willed.

• Seeking God is the key to promotion.

• God puts down and sets up.

Psalm 50:6
The heavens proclaim his righteousness, for God himself is judge. (Selah)

Psalm 58:11
The righteous will rejoice to see vengeance done, they will wash their feet in the blood of the wicked;

Learning how to walk with the Most High functional and reaping the harvest, so to speak in His seasonal teaching and instructions--keeps us focused on our relationship with Him and will cause a character change.  Those who make this their daily pursuit will adapt and is reflected in their response to their circumstances. Sometimes people need a hand-up--not everybody is going to take advantage of an opportunity – but you have to give people a chance. It is God’s nature to take the miserable and the poor and lift them to places of prominence and prosperity.

Isaiah 57:15  For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

1 Samuel 2:8 “He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them.”

Keeping in mind that it is from The Most High where promotion comes from and that it is He that says humble yourself before Me and I will exalt thee not for your sake but for My name sake. Humble yourselves to be positioned, to be exalted.

1 Peter 5:5-7 5 Likewise, you who are less experienced, submit to leaders. Further, all of you should clothe yourselves in humility toward one another, because God opposes the arrogant, but to the humble he gives grace. 6 Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that at the right time he may lift you up 7 Throw all your anxieties upon him, because he cares about you.

Like the boy David who the Most High called “A man after His own Heart” was found tending sheep under dangerous conditions but stayed faithful and trusting in the Most High. Chosen to replace pride and arrogance..not according to looks and stature--man made/Greek mindset.  Removing the focus from beauty and intellect, the Most High promotes from the foolish things the astound the wise and elect. While pride and arrogance prances and boasts. Humility and servitude shatters the false image of truth by the Most High.

My question is, why would we not want to know what the principle of the protégé means? If Yeshiah studied under a Rabbis' teaching until He started saving people, healing, and teaching--you know the whole about that life thing. Oh and correcting people too. My Yeshiah is The King and The Beginning and The End, none other can compare!!!! Yet He submitted himself as men a little lower than angels. To teach us every step of the way how to walk. Not just talk but walk in the Torah. That in itself, tells the life of a protégé. Knowing what it means to have priorities as a protégé and to be promoted is the goal. Not of man but from The Most High.

3 Priorities for a Protégé:

1. A heart after God.

2 Chronicles 16:9
“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.”

2. Humility.

Luke 16:10-12
“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. 11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? 12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?”

1 Samuel 16:1, “And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.” God was on a secret surveillance mission. David was a servant.

Psalm 78:70, “He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds.” A servant is: humble, obedient, respectful, faithful, and quiet. A servant’s goal is to make the person he serves look better, and to make that person even more successful.

3. Integrity.

Psalm 78:71-72, “From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance. 72So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.”

*Integrity is what you are when nobody is looking. Image is not everything!! Image can be altered rather quickly. Character takes time and discipline to cultivate.*

*Very important as a protégé knowing your promotion comes from The Most High. He alone is appointed to judge all of the Earth!!  Shema Selah, let us review this lesson as we consider our character check!!  Facebook LIVE video

The Principle of Patience, From The Mentor and Protégé, Principles of the Protege part 7

Hebrews  5

We are walking in today:  The Principle of Patience, From The Mentor and Protégé, Principles of the Protege part 7

As A Protégé! Patience Will Be Tried!!! Endurance Will Be Tested!!! Faithfulness Will Come Under Fire!!!

Witness submit throughout the Bible:   H6031 `anah spelled alef, nun, hey--to humble oneself, submit
Exodus 1:12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.

Torah: Gen 15:13, 16:9; Exodus 1:11, 10:3, 22:23, 32:18; Leviticus 23:29; Numbers 30:13; Deuteronomy 8:2
Prophets: 2 Samuel 7:10, 22:36; Ezra 8:21; Isaiah 53:7, 58:3, 60:14, 64:12; Daniel 10:12; Naham 1:12, 1:14-15
Writings: Judges 16:5; 1 Kings 8:35, 1 Kings 11:39; 2 Kings 17:20; 2 Chronicles 6:26; Job 30:11; Psalms 35:13, 88:7, 90:15, 94:5, 107:17, 119:71, 119:107; Lamentations 3:33

Deuteronomy 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

Hebrews 5:7-14
7 During Yeshia’s life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions, crying aloud and shedding tears, to the One who had the power to deliver him from death; and he was heard because of his godliness. 8 Even though he was the Son, he learned obedience through his sufferings. 9 And after he had been brought to the goal, he became the source of eternal deliverance to all who obey him, 10 since he had been proclaimed by God as a cohen gadol to be compared with Malki-Tzedek. 11 We have much to say about this subject, but it is hard to explain, because you have become sluggish in understanding. 12 For although by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the very first principles of God’s Word all over again! You need milk, not solid food! 13 Anyone who has to drink milk is still a baby, without experience in applying the Word about righteousness. 14 But solid food is for the mature, for those whose faculties have been trained by continuous exercise to distinguish good from evil.

A protégé will undoubtedly face temptation and attempt to bypass time and relationship in order to get promoted. Mentorship is not a sprint; it is the journey of the long haul. Patience will be tried. Endurance will be tested. Faithfulness will come under fire. Patience maybe the biggest challenge protégés will face is the challenge of waiting.

While you are waiting:

1. Build your self-esteem.
2. Build your ability to delay gratification.
3. Choose to educate yourself continually.
4. Keep your skills up-to-date.
5. Establish new relationships

Passing the Test of Time
Many fail to realize that Jesus was a protégé before He was a mentor. But before Yeshua mentored others, He faithfully walked 30 years in the preparation of a protégé.

Hebrews 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered.

Isaiah 50:5 The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.

John 5:19 “Then answered Jesus and said unto them, verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things so ever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.”

John 6:38 “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him (God) that sent me.”

“Season of Questions.”

1) Waiting and preparing gives you time to ask questions.
(Luke 2:46, “And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.”)
“Season of Education.”

2) Waiting and preparing gives you time to listen to others.
Jews raise their children to value the education of mentorship.
Staying faithful as a protégé means you are taking full advantage of your season of education.

*The path to success always begins with listening and learning. *

• Knowledge is power.
• Knowledge can be accumulated and stored.
• Knowledge creates a flow of wealth.
• Knowledge and increase in income go together.

A protégé should be obsessed with books and intellectual material.

“Season of Skills.”
3) Waiting and preparing gives you time to build your credentials.
(Luke 2:47-49, “And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. 48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? Behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. 49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?”)

*Waiting and preparation gives you opportunity to build your competency in your craft. Nobody will follow somebody who is not competent.*

“Season of Submission.”

4) Waiting and preparing gives you time to complete your season of submission.
Many people struggle because they do not properly position themselves during a season of submission.

He submitted to the Rabbis in the synagogue.
As a child, Yeshua had enough sense to recognize the importance of connecting with the spiritual leaders in His life.  Yeshua exemplified the heart of His father and practiced a principle of God when He honored and learned from the teachers in the synagogue. And honor is due only for the Torah, as it is said,

“The wise shall inherit honor.” (Proverbs 3:35) and the perfect shall inherit good.” (Proverbs 28:10) And only Torah is truly good, as it is said, “I have given you good teaching, do not forsake my Torah.” (Psalm 128:2) (Ethics of the Fathers 6:3)

“Season of Seeking.”

5) Waiting and preparing gives you time to seek God.
You can get in a hurry and abort the rhythm God has in your life. God is a god of rhythm. Yeshua understood His season. He made it very clear that it was not His time to be sought – it was His time to seek.

*A protégé will be given valuable time that can be used to seek God and develop his spiritual walk. *

Some protégés fail to seize this season of seeking. Impatient and eager for success, protégés immediately want to be sought. They want their “own” ministry, business, and success. But when you don’t sow the seeds of seeking, how shall you reap the harvest of being sought?

Do not let the expectations of others hinder your season of seeking.  Do not become a slave to someone else’s expectation. Recognize the season you are in and be patient.

Patience Will Keep the Protégé Loyal

The goal of mentorship is excess not equality. Joshua would lead the people of Israel where Moses did not. Elisha received a double portion of Elijah’s anointing. David surpassed his mentor by staying faithful to his “season of seeking.” David sought God and His Word. His Word was David’s passion and delight. We can infer that David spent much time seeking God and learning His Word while he was a shepherd boy caring for his father’s flock. Alone and often forgotten, he took advantage of his obscurity. Instead of complaining about not being noticed and recognized, David used his loneliness as an opportunity to seek God. An exceptional protégé does not equal his mentor; he exceeds his mentor!!!

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

*If the protégé can stay patient, his time to shine will come.*

Psalm 119:97-100 97 “O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day. 98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. 99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. 100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.”

David seized his season of seeking and the results were astounding:

A. He discovered through encounters with his enemies that he was smarter, wiser, and more brilliant. (It often takes an enemy in the public square to bring out the wisdom you received in the private setting.)

B. He surpassed his teachers and mentors in understanding and knowledge. For the faithful protégé, there comes a stage in life where you go from reading books to writing books. You go from listening to lecturing.

C. He came to a place in life where he progressed in knowledge and understanding beyond ancient heroes and scholars.

Like David, Yeshua started out listening to the Rabbis, but finished by teaching them. The depth of your humility will determine the speed of your promotion. Are you willing to prepare? Are you willing to listen? Are you willing to SEEK? If you are, your future will be unlimited!

Proverbs 1:5 “A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels.”

One of the hindrances to being an exceptional protégé is the association with wrong people and listening to wrong council. It is difficult to listen to your mentor when you are listening to everything and everybody else. Words come at us from so many directions every day. Many of these sounds and messages are an onslaught of manipulation intended to make us feel a certain way, buy certain items, and go to a certain place. Media, commercials, radio, music, people, even your pets want your undivided attention.

The protégé’s patience is enhanced through meditation of God’s word:

Psalms 1:1-3
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that

The protégé knows that there are few greater thrills than digging deep into Scripture and discovering fresh insight from the Word of God. He believes that study is the highest form or worship to God.
This love for study enhances patience and gives endurance in all seasons of life. Shema Selah let us pause and consider this teaching on patience of the protege!
