Weekend Meditation--How the Mind Thinks Part 3, The Conclusion

Romans 8

We are walking in today:  Weekend Meditation--How the Mind Thinks Part 3, The Conclusion

Witness heart throughout the Bible:  H3820 leb--inner man, mind, will, heart, understanding
inner part, midst

Exo 35:21 And they came, every one whose heart H3820 stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD'S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.

The Torah testifies...............
Deu 29:4 Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart H3820 to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.

The prophets proclaim..................
1 Sa 6:6 Wherefore then do ye harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? H3820 when he had wrought wonderfully among them, did they not let the people go, and they departed?

The writings bear witness...........................
Psa 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, H3820 be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Ecc 5:2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart H3820 be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.

What's the purpose of The Most High in all of this? Firstly, man is the spirit he lives in a body possesses a soul, that's what man is. I am going to say that again, man is a spirit, he lives in a body and he possesses a soul. Whoever controls the soul, rules the man that's it! That's the point, the original purpose of The Most High therefore was to rule the seen world from the unseen world through the unseen man living in the same body, on the scene!

The Most High wanted to control the world through you, but He wanted to do it from the unseen world, through your unseen spirit living in your seen physical body! He wanted to do that on the seen earth--so that His will which is invisible, could be seen visibly through your actions and through your execution of His instructions! The Most High wanted to rule the world through you, all without coming to the world! By and through your spirit, the soul is The Most High's media for Kingdom rulership. It's very important to understand this!

The Most High wants to rule the world through your soul! That's why the Bible says 3 John 2 King James Version (KJV) Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Fiveamprayer, notice the focus--even as your soul prospers. The Most High places the number one prosperity, focus on your soul. If you're not prospering in your soul The Most High says you are poor in every other area. So if you're not getting the right information you are actually destroying your life!

This is very important, the kingdom of The Most High is a kingdom of the soul. If the kingdom doesn't get in your soul--the kingdom can't get to the earth. I will say that again, if the kingdom of The Most High cannot get in your soul, it cannot get to the earth! If it cannot get into your heart, the earth will never see the rulership of The Most High!! Rulership begins in the heart that's where it is. And until it gets there--there will be no Kingdom manifesting in the earth! The first word of Yahashuah in his public ministry Matthew 4:17 King James Version (KJV) From that time Yahashuah began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The word repent means what to change your mind. Turn from your current path to teshuvah and change direction. Where's your mind? It is in your soul--His first attention was given to the soul--if I can get your soul changed He says then the kingdom can come from heaven on earth!

Here is a very important point and that is the kingdom of darkness is the kingdom of this of the soul also--The Most High is battling for your soul, so is hasatan. That's my point for the whole day. Hasatan and The Most High are not really after your body even though that's important for the earth, they're really after your soul. This is really important, because whoever controls your soul controls you! I think we become so spooky--we forgot where the battle is! We become so spiritually spooky that we have actually invented demons that don't exist and we are fighting things that aren't there. And the real battle, we're missing. I was studying the life of Yahashuah and some of the thoughts that he expressed is incredible. He was always going after the mind, always. He said if you hear my teaching, you listen to my teaching. If you follow my words, this is my word he said. My words are spirit and they give you life. He's trying to get in through your soul. If I can get your mind changed you'll be satisfied. It's a battle for the mind. So we got two kingdoms and both are after your soul. What is your soul? Your mind, your will, your emotions. That is why most of you are losing your battles. Think about it. Emotions, what do you think is making you keep going back to that situation that you know is wrong? It's your emotions. HaSatan got you man. One phone call and your knees get weak, emotions. You've gone back to that ungodly relationship. The battle is over the minute you feel your knees getting weak and you start leaving the house and you drive there. You know the Holy Ghost is screaming at you saying, stop! Turn around, don't go back there. He doesn’t love you. Stop it! Stop! Stop! And you still drive. It's a battle and the battle doesn't stop because you know the Bible. You have got to grab your body and listen to the Holy Spirit. Emotions, we gotta watch that! We say the soul is The Most High's media. Let’s talk about media. The word media. The word media is from the word medium. There is an attack on your soul like you never can believe. You got seven hundred and twenty-five channels in your house with a remote control and every button is after your soul. So you better understand what they are doing. Every radio station and every number on the radio dial is after your soul. This is not entertainment. This is containment. They want to contain you, they want to control you and that's what it's all about. It's about the media. The Media is from the word medium. It means to stand between. In other words, the media is the thing between the source and the object. We showed you an example just now. We saw the spirit of man and the body of man. Well, the media is the one in the middle. That's the one that decides which receives what. That's what medium is. The word media means to mediate. Yahashuah Hamashiach is called the mediator between The Most High and man. The Bible says there's only one medium between The Most High and man, only one and who's that? The man Hamashiach, Yahashuah. Hamashiach is not one of the prophets between The Most High and man. It says there's only one mediator. The Bible says there is only one mediator between The Most High and man, and it's the man Hamashiach Yahashuah. That means anybody else will give you distorted communication. Media means to interpret. When Dr. Myles Munroe would travel to foreign countries and he would speak to thousands of people in these big meetings, he spoke English, they speak Portuguese. He spoke English they speak Russian. He spoke English, they speak French. He spoke English, they speak Spanish. He’s standing there and they put between him and the people, this guy. Now he had to hope that this guy is telling them what he said. Not only did he have to hope that the guy understands it himself, what he was saying but interpret as well. That's what the media is. That means the chances of you getting the wrong message is so high when the mediator is in question. So between Dr. Munroe and the and 10,000 people sitting there is the mediator, the interpreter. Who's the most important in the whole scenario? The mediator, the interpreter. As important as the speaker is, the mediator is more important! And as important as those 10,000 people are, he's more important than they are. Why? He determines what they hear. When you turn that radio on, that TV or that CD, you are taking a chance! When you open a book that you just bought, you are taking a chance. You have got to pray! That's why you have been so messed up in reading the Bible, because we are the mediator between us and our understanding. We got to depend on our concepts and hope they are right. The media controls the message. Therefore, the quality and the meaning are the essence of the communication. The media controls the message. Now the source does not control the message. The source knows what he wants to say but the source has to totally depend on the media to get it right. If the media gets it wrong, then the people, the object of that message will get it wrong. That is why we cannot just allow anyone to teach to the world. And they're teaching to the world every channel you turn to. Media can corrupt, clarify, pervert or protect the integrity of a message. It can do all those things. It can corrupt it, it can prevent it or it can clarify it. It can protect it or destroy it. The medium is the most powerful thing in communication. The media controls what the receiver hears, thinks and understands. So we need to make sure that the medium that we are using is communicating the right message to the hearers, because the hearers will get whatever the media gives them. Think of two men kissing on your TV and your son, your daughter watching it. Two women kissing and they watching it and you sitting there you don’t even know it. You better check the medium in your house. Why? It’s controlling what your children think. How do you fight that? You come right in and say this is Dr. J and I am here to correct and clarify what they just perverted. In other words, you don't back out of it. You get in the middle of it, you have got to fix it. You have to correct it. You have to clarify it. Why? The Bible says, be in the world, get in there. Don't be apart of it but be in there. The Most High considered mediation as a dangerous power and he warned us against the use and abuse of it. The Most High is very sensitive about mediums. Why? The thing in the middle is dangerous, so The Most High has a very strong sensitivity to mediums and media. Leviticus chapter 20 verse 27 it says a man or woman who is a medium or a spiritist among you must be put to death. The Most High says, look if they are mediating and not representing me, you kill them. Now that is a tough law. The Most High says, look if they prophesy and I didn't talk to them, kill them! Do you know what they did to any prophet who didn't prophesy correctly? They stoned him to death. In other words, The Most High says kill the media that's not representing me. Kill them! Don't put them away, destroy them! That's how dangerous the media is to The Most High! It's a death sentence. Deuteronomy 18 verse 10 it says let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft or cast spells or who is a medium or spiritius or who consults the dead. The Most High says that they may not be among you. The Most High says, now let me tell something, you are an abomination. You're trying to get information from me through somebody I didn't set up. The Most High says you shouldn't be among it. 1st Samuel 28. Watch the results of wrong media. Saul then said to his attendants, find me a woman who was in the media. Find me someone who's in the middle. I need a media. Show me a medium so I may go and inquire of her since The Most High isn't talking to me directly, let me go hire a witch he says. When Saul did this it says, here now he misused and abused the kingdom of The Most High. Here's what it says in 1 Chronicles 10 verse 13. It says And Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord. He did not keep the word of the Most High and even consulted a medium for guidance. Saul died because The Most High killed him. This man made a mistake but The Most High wasn't mad at him, but he consulted the wrong media to get information. What are you doing at 2 o'clock in the morning on your internet? What do you consult? Where do you search to get your information about life? The Most High said he died because he chose the wrong media to listen to. What books do you buy? What stations do you keep your radio tuned to in your car? What is constantly being said to your conscious mind and downloaded eventually in your heart? That’s the power of the media. The devil is after your soul and Saul lost his because he went after the wrong media. So The Most High put him to death and turned the kingdom over to who? David! Now I want you to follow David's life versus Saul's life. David had serious media. The largest songbook in the Bible was written by this man. It's called the book of Psalms. In other words, if you can't find good media, write your own. Let's talk about the first use of the media before anything existed. What did The Most High use for the media? This is interesting. The first media was simply, The Word. The word is the medium used by The Most High to communicate his will, his desire, his thoughts and that resulted in what? The creation of the world. In other words, The Most High had an idea in his mind, he used the media of the word to get it out, and The Word produced creation. In other words, the mediation between The Most High and creation is the word. So the first one to introduce media is The Most High himself and the word was his first media and today it is still the most powerful media. What you hear will either kill you or save you. Genesis 1 says and The Most High said verse 3. Verse 6 and The Most High said. Verse 9 and The Most High said. Verse 11 and The Most High said. Verse 14 and The Most High said. Verse 20 and The Most High said. Verse 24 and The Most High said. Verse 26 and The Most High said. The Most High did everything by using this medium of the word. John chapter 1 verse 1 through 3 it says In the beginning was the word and the Word was with The Most High and the Word was The Most High and the same was in the beginning with The Most High. Important thing here is to notice that “the word is The Most High”. Do you see that? Okay let me explain why. This word is important. It's the word logos. The Hebrew and the Greek for logos it actually means expression of a thought. So if you were to read that verse and use the literal meaning it'll sound like this. In the beginning was the expression of The Most High's thoughts and The Most High's thoughts was The Most High and The Most High was his thoughts all things were made by the thoughts of The Most High that were expressed.
Shema Selah are you getting your messages unaltered from the Most High???  https://youtu.be/07U7nnfkoiY

How the Mind Thinks Part 2

Proverbs 23

We are walking in today: How the Mind Thinks Part 2

Witness think throughout the Bible:  H2803 chashab--to think, plan, esteem, calculate, invent, make a judgment, imagine, count

Job 35:2 Thinkest H2803 thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?

The Torah testifies...............
*****

The prophets proclaim..................
Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think H2803 toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

The writings bear witness...........................
Psa 40:17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh H2803 upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

Jer 23:27 Which think H2803 to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

The mind is defined as the heart, it determines the future and destiny of a man. What I am saying this morning is you are a sum total--of the choices you make every day and whatever you decide to hear and see and listen to constantly will become your future. You become what you're continually hearing. You become what you continually seeing. That's as simple as life is! Some of you are still plagued with habits that you've been trying to break. You may say I've been struggling with this for years, and I've been born again for 20 years. Why am I still struggling?? The answer is you've downloaded some stuff that is still there. Now how do you clean a hard drive? That's the issue! I am going to say that again, how do you clean a hard drive of stuff that's been downloaded? Well that's a tough thing to do! Sometimes you got to buy a whole new computer, because you can't get it off. Or what you got to do is you've got to buy another program that literally cleans it out. That's what the Ruach Ha Kodesh does--He is The Most High's Software!! The material is the Word of The Most High and the software takes the material and you are supposed to constantly keep hearing and hearing and hearing the Word of The Most High until it drowns out what was there for 20 years! That's the only way to do it.

Now it's really a battle for the soul. Let's talk about the soul and the mind. The mind is the center of the soul. What is the soul? The soul is an integration of three parts--the mind, the will and the emotions. In other words, those three things make up your soul. Again, what is your soul? It is your mind, your will and your emotions. Your mind, your will and your emotions all of them make up your soul--so your feelings are in your soul! Your decision-making power is in your soul and your mind--your thinking bank is in your soul. That makes your soul the most important part of your life! Let me explain why the battle in life is for the soul of man.

Proverbs 11:30 King James Version (KJV) The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

Now why did the Bible say that?? You see winning a body is no problem--even winning a spirit is easy! You get born again in seconds but, winning your soul is a tough job! My job as a teacher and a communicator is to work on your soul. I am after your soul. I want to win your soul. I have already won your body, because you are here up at 5 am in the morning! And I already won your spirit because--you want to find Ahaya asher Ahaya!! But winning your soul is a tougher job--because winning your soul takes a longer time than winning your body and your spirit! You are born again in a second but trying to get you converted is a tough job! So the battle is for what?? Your soul! The soul of the people! The soul of the nation! The soul of your children! The soul of your spouse! The soul of your entire job! Your soul is in trouble--the attack is against your soul! I want you to really hear me Fiveamprayer, the soul is the first component of media created by The Most High. Why is the soul the first component of media? Take a moment and really think about. The soul is a media because the soul is the mediator between the spirit and the body. The soul is the most dangerous part of your life. Matter of fact you're spirit is not your problem. Because your soul is the one that dictates what your spirit receives! Don't miss this!! I know hasatan knows that your soul is key to the battle!! The enemy is not after your body--that is just a bunch of dirt. Nor is he after your spirit, because your spirits already filled with Yahashua! There's a key component that he can still manipulate. The soul is the medium between the spirit and the body. The soul receives from the senses and deposits in the spirit. That is very important--what does the soul do? It receives from the senses, in other words--hearing, tasting, seeing, touching, and feeling all come through the senses. But they all go to the soul. They go to your mind, your will and your emotions. So whatever you see, touch, taste, feel or hear--goes to your soul. Now your soul takes it and then deposits into you, which is your spirit then you've got to make sure you regulate what the soul is picking up from the senses! That's why Yahashuah said take heed what you hear. Take heed means be selective--regulate your hearing. This is when you say, I choose what I want to listen to. Why?

Galatians 5:9 King James Version (KJV)  A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

Because it will mess up your whole life! Your soul receives from the senses and the deposits in your spirit but here's the other side. The spirit reveals through the soul to the body now here's a problem--this is the battle that you're facing right now. Every day, every moment of the day, a battle between, your spirit, your body and your soul. Now your body is getting information for what it sees, what it tastes, what it touches, what it feels and it takes it and transmits it to the soul. Then the soul then takes it and gives it to your spirit, all right? When the spirit gets that information from the soul that I got from the body. The spirit now has to deal with this information. Problem, once the spirit get all this information inside of it--when the spirit wants the body to something, the spirit talks to the soul. So the spirit gives the directions to the soul and tells the body what to do. Now you got a couple of problems here. Sometimes the body don't want to do what the spirit wants it to do. So the soul is in a battle--what you call a mental battle. a battle of the soul. Your spirit says the information that I got from the body is unrighteous and the soul said but that's all the body gave me. The soul cannot give the spirit what the body didn't receive. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

So the body hears something, the soul takes it, believes it and gives it to the spirit. Now the spirit receives it and conceives it. If your spirit has the Spirit of The Most High in it, it's not a spirit that is missing there--it's on the inside of this spirit. That spirit disagrees with what that spirit has just received. The Spirit of The Most High says now that is not righteous information. So the spirit of the man tells the soul of the man, that is not righteous! Tell the body that is not righteous--tell the body to change the source of information. Body says, no, I like how it feels so come on feel it. So the soul feels it from the body, and the soul said that feels ok. And the spirit says but it ain't right! So the spirit says, soul tell the body to stop it. The body said feels sensually good--don't you like it soul? And the soul says yes, I like it. I know that it is wrong but it feels emotionally good. And so the spirit loses and now the spirit is downloading junk--that's starving it to death. You know who's the most important part of that whole group? It's that so soul, because that soul could decide to reject or accept. That is the power of the soul.

The soul takes from the body, give to the spirit--but the spirit also takes from the spirit and gives to the soul for the body. So the body can only do what the soul makes it do. And the soul can only do would it accepts from the spirit. That's why the Bible says Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

The soul feeds the spirit and receives from the spirit. This is a mystery, the soul feeds the spirit but it also feeds the body, through the soul. It's very important that you be careful which you listen and hear and see and allow to come into your tastebuds!

That's what drugs are about. Drugs are about tasting and feeling and sensing something that your soul begins to emotionally enjoy and the spirit rejects. But if you do it enough times it is downloaded and now when you want to quit doing drugs your problem is it's stuck on your hard drive! So you get saved and saved and saved, But you never get your hard drive clean! The only way to be completely free from any kind of habit is to have a replacement of habits! You get a download of new information.
Shema selah what are we feeding our souls?  Time to clean up the hard drive of our minds!! https://youtu.be/C2cOvMCTwP0

How the Mind Works Part 1

Romans 8

We are walking in today:  How the Mind Works Part 1

Witness mind through the Bible: H5315 nephesh--soul, self, life, creature, person, appetite, mind, living being, desire, emotion, passion

Eze 23:28 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand of them whom thou hatest, into the hand of them from whom thy mind H5315 is alienated:

The Torah testifies...............
Gen 23:8 And he communed with them, saying, If it be your mind H5315 that I should bury my dead out of my sight; hear me, and intreat for me to Ephron the son of Zohar,

The prophets proclaim..................
Jer 15:1 Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind H5315 could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.

The writings bear witness...........................
Job 23:13 But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul H5315 desireth, even that he doeth.

1 Ch 28:9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: H5315 for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he
will cast thee off for ever.

This morning I want to focus on a very simple topic and that is understanding the power and purpose of the kingdom of the air. Once you have an understanding of the power and purpose of the kingdom of the air, you will probably finally appreciate why media cost so much money and why we must get involved in it. When you leave here today you will get a revelation of why Arnold Schwarzenegger can spend a hundred and twenty million dollars on a two-hour movie and make 200 million dollars from it. Or you will finally understand why Beyonce’ and Jay-Z can command two hundred and forty to two hundred and fifty million dollars a year in their royalties and in their concerts and take-home pay in the hundreds of millions of dollars. This morning you will probably understand why the television is so dangerous and so powerful and why the radio is so effective. I want you to listen with an eye and an ear of revelation! This morning we are going to talk about the kingdom of the air which we are looking at the nature of the media. This is an important lesson for your children, for your grandchildren and for you!

The first thing, there's nothing on earth as powerful as the human will! Absolutely nothing more powerful than that!! As a matter of fact, the human will is so powerful that the Most High Himself does not control it! I want you to remember that--there's one thing that the Most High does not control on earth and it's the human will. Why? Because the very nature of will implies self-control. The Most High gave you the power of will.

Number two the will controls the destiny of man. Your will is the agency of the Most High's kingdom administration when the Most High established His kingdom on earth He wanted it to be administered through your will. The problem is your will is yours!! The most dangerous gift the Most High ever gave man a will, and the most precious gift the Most High ever gave man was a will. It's dangerous and it's precious--it's precious because the Most HIgh gave you the same power that He possesses. The power of a will, but it's dangerous because you also have the ability to choose against the Most High. That's how dangerous a will is. The Most High intended to use the will of man to fulfill His will on earth so The Most High wanted you to use your will for His will! The only problem is a will gives you the power to choose even against the will of the one who gave you the will!

I want you to follow this thinking now, number three--the seat of the will is the conscious and the subconscious mind. That's where the will lives, it lives in the heart. Your heart is your subconscious mind and your subconscious mind is the seat of control for your life. Then, Fiveamprayer we have to know that we have two minds! In case you don't know--you got a conscious mind and the subconscious mind. Sub means below, you got a mind that is always conscious, but then you got a mind, that is your conscious mind that feeds your subconscious information and the more your conscious mind hears something, it feeds it to the subconscious mind. That is why repetition is dangerous! Repetition constantly goes to your conscious mind but the more your conscious mind hears something it begins to deposit it or technically, downloads it to your subconscious mind. Now you are safe, as long as something is in your conscious mind you're still safe, because you can forget what's in your conscious mind. But the key is to get it to your subconscious mind, once it gets there, then you are in trouble. Why? because the mind is the center of thought and it holds the key to life. Now I'm gonna look at scripture regarding the mind:

Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

The word heart here is a Hebrew word referring to the subconscious mind that's the one below. Solomon says you are whatever is in your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind controls your heart. I am going to say that again, your subconscious mind controls your heart! Whoever controls your heart controls your life! Whoever can get enough information into your subconscious mind will control you! Because as a man thinketh in his heart--that's the man! So if you want to control the man all you've got to do is control his heart. And how do you control his heart, first you work on the conscious mind first and you keep repeating and repeating repeating and repeating until the conscious mind deposits it in the heart. Now you're in trouble! That is why some of you are having problems with battles of things that you try to change and you can't change! Those old habits that you were keeping for the last 20 years and now you want to change and it's tough to change! Young people that is why The Most High tells you to stay away from evil things--if you keep watching pornography, you keep reading dirty books, you keep listening to the bad stories or or dirty jokes--it will be hard to shake, now it is a habit. Now the first time you see it it doesn't bother you but if you keep seeing it it becomes downloaded. Now once something is downloaded on your hard drive what happens, even when you are not conscious of it it is still running and all you got to do is push the right button and got to the whole thing right in front of you, in color.

The Bible says take heed what you hear Why? Matthew 12:34 (KJVA) O generation of vipers, how can ye , being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. If you don't control what comes into your conscious mind it'll soon become a part of your subconscious mind and it's in your heart! And the Bible tells us out of the heart is what the mouth really speaks. Out of the heart comes the issues of life Yahashuah said, Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. Look at that He says these things are coming from the heart!

Shema Selah we have to deal with our hearts and the conditions of them!!  Wash your mind with the word of the Most High, to cleanse your heart! https://youtu.be/UPSle8mO9UA

Hidden Truths and Mysteries within the Hebrew AlephBet

Genesis 1

We are walking in today: Hidden Truths and Mysteries within the Hebrew AlephBet

Witness write throughout the Bible: H3789 kathab--to write, inscribe, engrave, write in, write on
to write down, describe in writing

Exo 17:14 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write H3789 this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

The Torah testifies...............
Deu 6:9 And thou shalt write H3789 them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

The prophets proclaim..................
Isa 10:1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write H3789 grievousness which they have prescribed; H3789

The writings bear witness...........................
Pro 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write H3789 them upon the table of thine heart:

Isa 30:8 Now go, write H3789 it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:

The ancient Hebrew sages believed that the alephbet (Hebrew alphabet) was the building blocks of life. In other words, those twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet are what all of life is built on.

In the book of Ivrim (Hebrews), chapter 11, verse 3, it says that the worlds were framed by the word of The Most High. When you read Bere’shiyt (Genesis) chapter one, you see The Most High saying, "Let there be light and there was light." The Most High said, "Let there be stars in the firmament" and "Let there be beasts in the field, and fowl in the air." He did this simply by speaking. Some may think of this only as poetic, but the Hebrew people have historically had solemn reverence and awe for the actual building blocks of life which they believe are the individual letters; that The Most High did create the world with the alephbet. When you examine the very first verse of the Scriptures in Bere’shiyt chapter 1, verse 1, you see the same concept. In Hebrew it reads:

הארץ...ואת..............השמים.....את......אלהים........ברא..........בראשית

Bere’shiyt.........bara........The Most High...'et.....hashamayim....v'et... ha'aretz.
In beginning...created.. The Most High.......the heaven........and...the earth.

The Hebrew text, of course, is in Hebrew letters and written from right to left. The sentence structure of the Hebrew text is not according to western or Greek thought where we would expect to see "The Most High" in the primary position of the sentence, followed by the verb "created", and ending with the object of the action - "the heavens and the earth." The Hebrew mind focuses on the verb or action rather than the subject or noun. As a matter of fact, the Hebrew writer will accentuate the action to the point of being overly redundant, such as: "He opened his mouth and spoke, saying ...". Many people believe that this way of speaking is the poetic Elizabethan English of the King James Version, but the redundancy of verb usage is purely an eastern or Hebrew characteristic.

Let's go back to the verse. The word bere'shiyt is the Hebrew word from which the Greek word "Genesis" comes. (Several of the books in the Scripture are named after the opening words of the book.) This opening sentence is constructed out of seven Hebrew words. The number seven fits into the scheme of scriptural interpretation called gematria (also called numerology and the heptatic structure). The number seven is recognized as a very special number from the Hebrew point of view. It is a number that speaks of spiritual completeness and fullness. Seven is used quite extensively by the Ruach haQodesh throughout the whole body of scripture. A look into Strong's concordance will reveal that the number seven, along with an abundant number of things that are grouped in sevens, are in the hundreds. So, the ancient Hebrew sages saw a specialness in the usage of the number seven. When the ancient sages look at these opening words and see that it is made up of 7 words, and especially the context in which they are used, they see the entire heavens and earth being completed in it's fullness from aleph to tav. In the very first verse they see a complete heavens and earth created in verse one, as opposed to those things being created in the first six days. Actually no creative process takes place in the first six days except the beasts and man. Everything else was formed from material that was already created in verse one. This is why I have absolutely no argument whatsoever with those who believe in a young earth or an old earth because I believe (as the ancient sages did) that the heavens and the earth were created in the beginning, not in the six days.

Now let's look at the verse even more closely through the eyes of the ancient sages. After Bere’shiyt bara The Most High there is a fourth untranslatable word. That fourth word is actually two Hebrew letters: the Aleph and the Tav. The aleph-tav (את) does serve a grammatical purpose in that it points to the direct object of the sentence. These two letters do not actually form a word, but rather they express an understanding. The aleph (א) is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, and the tav (ת) is the last letter of the alphabet. The placement of these two very significant letters at strategic locations within many sentences of the Hebrew Scriptures express a total completeness. It is equivalent to saying "from alpha to omega, from a to z, from first to last, from beginning to end." So, from the Hebraic point of view, they see that "In the beginning The Most High created the aleph-tav. In other words, they believe that the very first thing The Most High created was the Hebrew alphabet, which is known through ancient writings also as the aleph-tav. They recognize that He created the letters by which all life and all physical things spring forth from. They are divinely ordained building blocks of life. They believed that The Most High had to create this first because it is all the letters of the Hebrew alephbet that form the Torah, the word of The Most High, which, according to the word of The Most High, is The Most High Himself. Now you can better understand the reverence they have for the alphabet because they are the letters of the Torah - which is The Most High. We understand the same from Yochanan (John) 1:1, "In the beginning was the WORD and the WORD was with The Most High and the WORD was The Most High." If any Hebrew sage would read that verse they would give it a hearty amen. He would say, "In the beginning was the WORD, the alephbet, the WORD was with The Most High, and The Most High was the WORD." The Most High is the Alephbet and is revered for the same reason.

In English we can understand Bere’shiyt 1:1 as "In the beginning The Most High created A to Z." Our own expression that parallels this one is, "He finished everything from A to Z, or from beginning to end." This is also the reason for several of Yeshua‘s titles: the "Author and Finisher of our faith;" He is the Aleph Tav, the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and End, and the First and Last.

It is also believed by these ancient sages that these Hebrew letters are not only the building blocks of life, but that we are supposed to study them, and speak them forth continuously, because if ever there is a time when Torah is not being vocalized, the ancient sages believed "the earth will melt away with a fervent heat." That saying should ring familiar to those who study the New Testament; Kefa (Peter) made a similar statement in his second letter, that there will be a time when the earth melts away with a fervent heat! From a scriptural point of view that simply means that "there will be no Laws and no Torah on the earth, and that it is Torah (that is, the word of The Most High) that is keeping all things together!" This brings to mind the book of Colossians, where in chapter one it says that Yeshua‘ holds all things together and that by Him all things consist. We know from Yochanan 1:1 and 1:14 that Yeshua‘ is the WORD of The Most High, and that He holds the entire universe together with His physical and spiritual laws which in actuality - is Yeshua‘ Himself! The ancient sages believed the same way about the alephbet as modern science believes concerning the elements; that they are the fundamental building blocks of everything we see. They cannot be created, but you can take those basic building blocks, combine them, and make something out of them. In reality, that is all that man can do; that is - make or form something from existing material. He cannot create anything. We can only take what The Most High has created, and manipulate that material, and make something out of it. We cannot bara (create). We can only 'asah (make) or yatsar (mold). We must take care as to the proper elements to use in our making and molding because some combinations produce useful and helpful results, and other combinations produce hazardous and even deadly results. It is this parallel comparison of the elements and words that teach us that we must be careful which words we should and should not write or speak. This is the reason Yeshua‘ said that we would be judged by every word that comes forth from our mouth. We may use the comparison of letters to the elements in the following example. You can take two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen and produce H2O or water, which is a life-sustaining compound. However, you may take the same two parts hydrogen and combine it with one part sulfur (instead of oxygen), and that produces H2S, hydrogen sulfide, which is very lethal, indeed. From this simple example, we can see that the substitution of one simple element can cause disastrous and even deadly results; forming something deadly rather than life-sustaining. The same care must be used in communication. We are held accountable for every word that we speak. Our words can also be life sustaining or life threatening. The same care must be used in our understanding of the word of The Most High, and our teaching that is a result of our understanding. When we read the scriptures, and we do not recognize an idiom as an idiom, and we teach the idiom as literal truth rather than symbolic of an intended meaning, we are communicating our understanding in a way that is not life-sustaining, and in many ways can be life threatening when spiritual truths are not understood as the truths they are intended to convey. To teach spiritual things without spiritual understanding is death to the hearer. Therefore, we must get back to the original context and mind set and understanding of the writers, rather than trying to force our own particular meanings into the text.

This is as good of a stopping place as any, but in actuality, we could go on and on into the applications of the Hebrew alephbet in the creation story and beyond. I believe that if you can get motivated to seek out the truths contained within this study, and apply them to all areas of your studies, you will find a more solid basis for your faith and start to weed out those beliefs that you had originally felt were true, but have found deeper understanding through the proper use of the alephbet.

Shema Selah, Fiveamprayer we must return to the beginning, the characters, the letters that the Most High used to create the universe and all that is in it from nothing with His words and letters, Hebrew!! https://youtu.be/aDkXqIJmavc

Weekend Meditation-- O, Most High--Let Me Not Wander From Your Commandments!!

Matthew 5:38-48

We are walking in today: Weekend Meditation-- O, Most High--Let Me Not Wander From Your Commandments!!

Witness wander throughout the Bible: H8582 ta'ah to err, wander, go astray, stagger

Gen 20:13 And it came to pass, when God caused me to wander H8582 from my father's house, that I said unto her, This is thy kindness which thou shalt shew unto me; at every place whither we shall come, say of me, He is my brother.

The Torah testifies...............
Gen 37:15 And a certain man found him, and, behold, he was wandering H8582 in the field: and the man asked him, saying, What seekest thou?

The prophets proclaim..................
Isa 47:15 Thus shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured, even thy merchants, from thy youth: they shall wander H8582 every one to his quarter; none shall save thee.

The writings bear witness...........................
Psa 107:4 They wandered H8582 in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.

Pro 21:16 The man that wandereth H8582 out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.

The Most High defined King David as “a man after My own heart” (Acts 13:22). What a great honour to bestow on a man!

And yet, at times, King David was a man of failures and weaknesses. Thankfully, David was truthful, and he acknowledged his failures, as we can see by many of his Psalms.

Consider one of King David’s prayers to the Abba: “O let me not wander from Your commandments!” (Psalms 119:10). This prayer could be the plea of any one of us as a follower of Yahushua HaMaschiach.

Yahushua’s disciples are Thirsty Souls who know their own weaknesses and sinful inclinations. We know intimately our great need for The Most High’s power to help us!

Because of our failures however, it is not uncommon for us to pray such prayers as the ones King David often prayed:

O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed… (Psalms 25:20)

Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me (Psalms 19:13).

Set a watch, O The Most High, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips (Psalms 141:3).

Incline my heart unto Your testimonies, and not to covetousness (Psalms 119:36).

Incline not my heart to any evil thing (Psalms 141:4).

As these verses show us, all of us need the holding and guiding power of The Most High. Praying for The Most High’s strength and power is a great need among Abba’s children.

But why is it this way? Because there are times when we “go astray like a lost sheep“, and we desperately need Abba to seek us out and restore us (Psalms 119:176). Though we dearly love The Most High and His Word, and yet, we need Abba’s great grace to hold us tightly, as sheep within His corral (Psalms 100:3).

Most times, we are safe within the confines of Abba’s pasture, following in His path, joyfully keeping His Word, and in fellowship with His people. We enjoy the shower of The Most High’s directions, blessings, and grace. But sometimes, a little distraction happens. We stumble over something — a too-high expectation, a neglected duty, a haughty attitude, or we become hurt or embittered over an incident.

Whatever the breach may be, we begin to stray, so very slightly and sometimes without notice at first.

The Downward Slope
Yet such a breach is a great abhorrence to us. If we stray or wander from Abba’s Ways in even the slightest way, our soul becomes convicted, cast down, and disturbed.

At such times, a hardness can begin to happen within our heart. [Oh Abba, deliver me from a hard-heart!]

It may be humiliating for us to admit it, but we know deep inside whenever it happens — we have strayed. We are ashamed and convicted, and we need Abba’s mercy and His restoring grace.

If we are honest, all of us recognize the tendency of our selfish inclinations. Our natural, soulish tendency is an inclination to the downward slope into pride, or slothfulness, or neglect of duties, or an unruly tongue, or a myriad of other snares and deceptions of this world.

However, these are the moments when we must ‘take hold’ of Abba’s lovingkindness and the hope we have in Yahushua HaMaschiach, our faithful High Priest. These are the moments to acknowledge our need for His forgiveness and restoration.

By sincere prayer, we have instant access to Abba’s abundant mercy! His mercy is available to us regardless of our situation or our feelings of unworthiness:

Quicken me [Revive me], O The Most High, for Your name’s sake: for Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble. And of Your mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am Your servant. (Psalms 143:11-12)

O my The Most High, incline Your ear, and hear; open Your eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by Your name: for we do not present our supplications before You for our righteousnesses, but for Your great mercies. (Daniel 9:18)

As these verses show us, when we come to Abba, in the name of His Son, Yahushua HaMaschiach, and we come on the basis of His righteousness, not our own righteousness, then . . . He is merciful and faithful to restore us, bringing deliverance to us from the enemy!

We are a New Creation in HaMaschiach, and each day His life is strengthened within us, if we will simply humble ourselves by going to Him, talking to Him, and asking for His help (Psalms 33:18-20). No matter how small or how big our dilemma may be, if we will ask Him to help us, He promises to answer us: Ask, and it shall be given you (Matthew 7:7)!

Asking for His help is the secret to finding His strength. This is especially true when we present ourselves to Him each morning, and we acknowledge Him in all our ways:

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of The Most High, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto The Most High, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of The Most High. (Romans 12:1-2)

Trust in The Most High with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5,6)

In the day when I cried, You answered me, and strengthened me with strength in my soul. (Psalms 138:3)

As these verses teach us, when we present ourselves to Abba each day, and make time to be with Abba, reading His Word and praying, He becomes a safeguard for us!

Through trusting in His Word and His mercy, as well as our humble prayers, then we are renewed by the power of His Spirit, day by day, little by little. By spending time with Him [even a few minutes being better than none!], Abba makes us more receptive to His guidance, and to His grace that enables us.

When we acknowledge The Most High in all our ways, no matter how small the matter, then He refreshes our innermost being! He energizes us, and gives us confidence in His power to hold us close to Him — gives us confidence that He will lead us “in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake” (Psalms 23:3).

Without The Most High, we will sink! Without Him, we are undone! But with The Most High’s daily enablement of grace and mercy, we gladly walk in newness of life . . . because “HaMaschiach lives in me!” (Galatians 2:20) By His life and His grace, He strengthens us, and enables us to joyfully walk according to His commandments!
The Way Upward
The Scriptures tell us Yahushua is The Way (John 14:6).

When we allow Yahushua to live within us, daily asking for His help to walk in obedience as He did, then we will find His Way — His life, His confidence, and His victory (1 Peter 1:22)!

When we study the Scriptures, looking for direction and comfort, Abba always enlarges our understanding and gives us insight for our path.

When we abide in Him, by obeying The Most High’s Word, we are enabled to cling tightly to Him (John 15:10; 1 John 3:24).

When we choose to be a “DO-er” of The Most High’s Word, He makes us able to trust in Him completely (Psalms 22:5).

This is KEY to finding answers for our troubles and questions:

The entrance of Your Words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple. (Psalms 119:130)

O send out Your light and Your truth: let them lead me. (Psalms 43:3)
The Comfort of the Scriptures

The Scriptures are a great comfort for Thirsty Souls who are thirsting for the Living Waters of the Fountain of Life!

Abba’s Word continually reminds us of His holding power on our behalf. The book of Psalms is especially full of comforting promises for Abba’s children — promises to strengthen us and keep us from falling, to keep us from wandering away, for He is upholding us with His Hand!

And yes, it happens that we fail and stumble at times, because we are weak, frail creatures. But that is not the time to give up! Instead, it is the time to remember our Abba’s heart of love for us!

If we humble ourselves, crying out for His mercy and forgiveness through the blood of His Son (1 John 1:9), then Abba enables us, by His grace, to teshuvah, and to get back up, and return to obedience to Him. (Psalms 37:23-24,39).

A genuine heart’s desire to always honour Abba is what keeps us seeking Him, regardless of failures and victories.

When we are down because of a failure, if we come to Him with sincere repentance, then He will always restore and forgive, and will show Himself strong on our behalf! If we are cast down and disturbed over our dilemmas, our sins and blunders, here is what we know:
  • it is time to be humble, admit our failures, and run into the strength of Abba’s loving arms (Deuteronomy 33:26-27);
  • it is time to take refuge under His wings and seek the comfort of His Word (Psalms 17:5-8; Psa 36:7; Psa 57:1; Psa 63:1-8);
  • it is time to trust Him — that He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9);
  • it is time to remember that He will never cast us away when we come to Him in genuine repentance, willing to be obedient to His Word (Proverbs 28:13; John 6:37; Matthew 11:28).
Oh HalleluYAH for the abundant goodness and mercy of the Mighty One of Israel!
Shema Selah walk in the enablement that we received from Yeshua, Himself!!!

Obedience, What The Most High Desires From Us!

Malachi 1

We are walking in today:  Obedience, What The Most High Desires From Us!

Witness obedience throughout the Bible: H8086 shema'--to listen, give heed; to consent, agree; to grant request

Exo 24:7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said,
All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient. H8085

The Torah testifies...............
Deu 4:30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient H8085 unto his voice;

The prophets proclaim..................
2 Sa 22:45 Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, H8085 they shall be obedient H8085 unto me.

The writings bear witness...........................
Pro 25:12 As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient H8085 ear.

Isa 42:24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient H8085 unto his law.

According to the Bible, the Creator of the universe is a Abba! The prophet Malachi tells us that The, is indeed a Abba. As we see in the following passage, The Most High expresses His Fatherly nature and His yearning toward His children:
A son honoreth his Abba, and a servant his master: if then I [The Most High] be a Abba, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the The Most High of hosts …. (Malachi 1:6).

As this verse teaches us, The Most High, is indeed a Abba and a master. But let’s just focus on His Fatherhood for now. As a Abba, The Most High yearns for the honour and respect due a Abba, a father . So how would we show honour and respect to the heavenly Abba?
By obedience to Him!

The Most High Desires Our Obedience
Many times The Most High exhorts us to be obedient to Him. For centuries, The Most High has been speaking to His children regarding obedience. Could He have changed His mind about obedience? Hmmmm?

Again, the prophet Malachi can answer that question for us:
For I am The Most High, I change not! (Malachi 3:6)

The Most High does not change! His character does not change. His Word does not change. His Truth does not change! What He has said to His children for centuries, has not been ‘done away with!’

Just as the ‘Law of Gravity’ does not change, just as the rising and setting of the sun does not change, so also The Most High’s full, entire, written Word continues! His Word is eternal and it does not change and it cannot be broken (1 Peter 1:23; Isaiah 40:8; Psalms 119:89)!

And though His Word has some hard-to-understand passages, nevertheless, The Most High’s Word is true, valid and applicable today, in this 21st century. Therefore when it comes to obedience, The Most High’s stated desire for obedient children remains constant.
Be As Little Children

Yahushua Maschiach directed us to be as little children:
And Yahushua called a little child unto Him, and set Him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:2,3)

As this passage teaches, being as a ‘little child’ is essential for entering the Kingdom of Heaven (Mark 10:15 see also Luke 18:17)!

Now if we consider the word ‘obedience’ to be a word only for little children, then we, as Believers, must realize that we are to BE as little children! We qualify for applying the word ‘obedience’ to ourselves. With The Most High in heaven, and you and me on the earth, being as ‘little children’ is exactly how our heavenly Abba sees us! In the Scriptures, we are often addressed as ‘Little Children.’

The patriarch Abraham illustrates this: Abraham was as ‘a little child’ because he was obedient to The Most High! The apostle Peter exhorts us to be ‘as obedient children’ who call on The Most High as our Abba! Obedience is a central part of the purifying process for growing and maturing in Mashiach. It is clear that our heavenly Abba desires obedient children! (Hebrews 11:8; 1 Peter 1:22; see also 1 Peter 1:13-17).

But what does He desire for us to obey? Let’s consider what His Son, Yahushua said.
If You Love Me . . .

Yahushua said, “If you love Me, keep [obey] MY Commandments” (John 14:15).

Perhaps some of us may think that keeping Yahushua’s commandments are limited to only ‘New’ Testament commandments. However, at the time when Yahushua said the above statement, There Was No New Testament In Existence!!

Therefore His exhortation to KEEP His commandments refers to what is commonly known as the ‘Old’ Testament.

Since Maschiach is The Word Made Flesh, then the ‘Old’ Testament Scriptures is where we find His instructions and guidelines for us to obey. It is in the ‘Old’ Testament where we find:

  • the instructions for observing the Sabbath, the seventh day of the week,
  • the instructions for not eating unclean things,
  • the instructions for observing The Most High’s Feast Days,
  • and many other instructions that are part of the ‘House-Rules‘ for the children of The Most High.

IF we love Mashiach from the depths of our heart, then we will be among those who will gladly choose to obey Yahushua, the Son of The Most High, who is ONE with His Abba!

IF we love Mashiach we will exhibit our loyalty to Him by our humble submission and obedience to Maschiach’s Words, including those from Genesis to Malachi.

As the Scriptures tell us, Yahushua Maschiach IS “the WORD made flesh” (John 1:14). Therefore His Words include the Words He gave to Moses and to all the prophets, because He spoke His Words from the beginning (see Exodus 31:18; Deuteronomy 9:10; Luke 11:20; John 1:1,14; Revelation 19:13).

Eternal Words
Entirely all of The Most High’s written Word is true throughout all generations. Abba tells us His Word is eternal. His Words cannot ever become invalid! (Psalms 105:8; Psalms 119:160; Isaiah 40:8; 1 Peter 1:23,25) All the written Scriptures are eternal Words for Believers to apply to their life, in every age throughout history! We can be confident that the Scriptures, such as the following, are relevant and up-to-date. These Words are part of our heavenly Abba’s ‘House-Rules’ for His family:

1. You shall walk after The Most High, and fear Him, and keep His commandments, and obey His voice, and you shall serve Him, and cleave unto Him. (Deuteronomy 13:4)

2. And Moses and the priests the Levites spoke unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day you are become the people of The Most High. You shall therefore obey the voice of The Most High, and do His commandments and His statutes, which I command you this day. (Deuteronomy 27:9, 10; see also Deuteronomy 11:26-28)

As the above Scriptures show us, The Most High’s Word urges His people to obey Him! This is our Abba’s desire — obedience from His people, His servants, His children. This has been His desire from the beginning! It is well pleasing to Him to have obedient children:

Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the The Most High. (Colossians 3:20)

A fundamental feature of our walk with The Most High, is that we become as a ‘little child’ and walk in obedience to The Most High’s Eternal Words. We cannot become as ‘little children’ without learning obedience!
The Essence of Obedience
The essence of obedience is really a heart issue!
Let us ask ourselves some questions:
Has Abba revealed His abundant love for us, especially through the sacrificial death and resurrection of His Son, Yahushua Maschiach? Has The Most High tenderly received us and forgiven us multiple times? Is our heart full of thankfulness for His sacrificial love for us? Have we given our life to Him, and therefore, we are serious about serving The Most High?

Does our heart genuinely desire to love and honour Abba, and show our respect for Him? Is this the main business of our life? Do we truly believe His love for us, and that His written Word is our authoritative source for guidance and direction?

If we can answer yes to these questions, then whenever we obey The Most High’s written Word, we demonstrate our loyalty to Him; we demonstrate our belief in His truth; and we demonstrate our love for Him. This is how we demonstrate our faith in Him! Our obedience is the evidence that we trust Abba, that we believe His Words are trust-worthy! And regardless of how we feel, whether we are ‘in the mood’ or not, we will want to obey Yah’s written Word, doing what is right and good in His sight!

Our obedience reveals our firm commitment to live our life based on the principle of obeying The Most High’s written Word, walking according to His Ways – His ever-lasting truth – truth revealed from the beginning.

And though it will happen, that we will not always understand some parts of The Most High’s Word, we certainly however, want to obey the parts we do understand, by simply DO-ing what Abba says! If we do what He says, we will find that the ‘doing’ of what He says results in more understanding and love for The Most High, and thus more obedience to His Word (John 7:17).

Let us remember — Abraham obeyed The Most High! Abraham obeyed Abba because He believed Abba’s love for him! He believed Abba’s WORD! And Abraham obeyed, even at times when he did not fully understand:

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. (Hebrews 11:8)

Therefore with Abraham as our example, we must remember to:
not rely on ‘feelings’ or ‘moods’ before being obedient, and not rely on our own understanding before being obedient The Most High’s written WORD (Proverbs 3:5-6).

“Only he who believes is obedient, and only he who is obedient believes”

Obedience — A Regular, Daily Behaviour
Obedience to the written Word of The Most High ought to be a regular, familiar thought pattern. It ought to be a daily behaviour for all the children of The Most High.

Obedient children earnestly desire to serve their Abba; they love their Abba and are devoted to their Abba. Obedient children pay attention to the words of their Abba.

In order to obey our heavenly Abba, we must learn His Words. We must persistently study The Most High’s written Word [the entire Bible], so that we can know how to obey Him (see Proverbs 4:20-22).

We learn His Word because our hearts are devoted to honouring and obeying Him. (Psalms 119:11) We especially need to learn and study for ourselves The Ten Commandments. Let me say that you will discover that the keeping of the 4th Commandment is a major KEY to opening up more of our understanding of Abba’s Word!

Learning His written Word for ourselves is essential to learning how to be obedient to His Word. Never stray from the truth that the Holy Spirit will always guide us according to Yah’s written Word.

It is our obedience to Abba’s written Words that is the measure of our love for Him:
If ye love Me, keep My commandments. (John 14:15)

By this we know that we love the children of The Most High, when we love The Most High, and keep His commandments. (1 John 5:2)

For this IS the love of The Most High, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous. (1 John 5:3)

These verses teach us that obedience reveals our love for Him. As obedient children, we should want to learn for ourselves The Most High’s written Words [found in all the Bible]. This is to be our way of life! We learn His written Words so that we can obey Him – quickly and gladly!

We deny ourselves in small ways and in great ways, so that we can follow Abba’s ‘House-Rules’. We do this because we love Him!! We obey Him because we want to walk according to His truth, and we want to avoid twisted, pagan explanations of Scripture; we want to avoid subtle counsels or preaching that rejects Yahushua as Maschiach and Saviour (2 John 1:7)!
He Is The Potter
Let us remember: we are the clay and He is the Potter.

We are to yield to The Most High, willing to walk according to His desires. Our hearts should be devoted to serving our loving Abba, and promoting His interests (Isaiah 64:8; Jeremiah 18:6; Malachi 1:6; Matthew 23:10).

It is not difficult to serve and obey our heavenly Abba. His commandments are not too hard! Abba has delivered us from the bondage of sin, and He has given us abundant, enabling grace, in all the things that concern our ability to obey Him! (See 1 John 5:3-5; 2 Peter 1:3).

If we truly love The Most High, if we truly believe His written Word, then we will obey Him, with no hesitancy! Living our life according to the principle of obedience to His written Word will be our way of life, the goal of our life!

We simply need to begin to learn The’s Word, and choose to do what we learn, doing what we can do as well as we can – regardless of the mysteries, the obstacles, or how we may ‘feel’. Stepping out in faith to obey Him is to take one-step-at-a-time. As we begin to do any ‘baby steps’ of obedience, Abba will supply us with more understanding and more ability to obey. Thus we will be more confident of Abba’s love and care for us.

Loyal and Obedient
May it be that the word ‘obedience’ would be a familiar word to us, and a familiar behaviour, and that obedience would not be a foreign word!

Let us ask Abba to help us – help us to be as ‘a little child’! May each one of us have that genuine commitment to be loyal and obedient to Abba’s written Words, even when it seems difficult! This is how we show our love for Him, our loyalty, our honour, and our respect for Him!

And that, Fiveamprayer, is the essence of obedience!
Shema Selah, we must truly hear, listen and obey and consider our ways before our Abba!!  What has the Most High given you to do??

ENCORE! ENCORE! Avoiding the Strong Delusion--The Way That Seems Right

2 Thessalonians 2

We are walking in today: ENCORE! ENCORE! Avoiding the Strong Delusion--The Way That Seems Right

As we saw in our previous teaching, “Enduring As Seeing Him Who Is Invisible,” Moses gives us a two indicators of walking by faith:
By faith he [Moses] forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing Him who is invisible. (Hebrews 11:27)
We discussed the first indicator of faithfulness, now we will look at the second indicator of faithfulness that Moses gives us — forsaking Egypt!

The Worldly Wisdom of ‘Egypt’

In Scripture, ‘Egypt’ is a term that speaks of the spiritually dark wisdom of this world, and its false values, false practices, and false gods. This is what Moses forsook and abandoned!
If we desire to walk by faith with The Most High Elohim, then we will follow Moses’ example by forsaking the worldly wisdom of this world — forsaking the world’s false values, false practices, false religions, and false gods!
As we grow in our faith, we will encounter many things that would try to hinder our walk of faith with the heavenly Abba. One of the greatest hindrances to our faith is to feed upon Spiritual Mixtures. Spiritual Mixtures combine truth with counterfeit. Spiritual mixtures are the deceptive, worldly wisdom systems of ‘Egypt.’ Spiritual mixtures mix Truth from The Most High’s written WORD [the Bible], with the dark wisdom of this world.

Spiritual mixtures cause us to put our confidence in man-made twistings of The Most High’s Word. Spiritual mixtures cause us to trust in the false gods of false religious systems. This is the ‘spirit of Egypt’ (Isaiah 19:1-17). It brings about divisions in the Body of Messiah because it promotes and idolizes the dark wisdom of this world rather than honouring and respecting the pure Word of The Most High.
The frightening thing about spiritual mixtures is that they appear to be right:
There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 14:12; 16:25).
This verse is given twice in Proverbs, and it should be a double warning for us!! The many pathways and practices of the so-called ‘wisdom’ of this world appear to be good, right, and wise. But in reality, they are deceptive pathways, and result in curses and death!
The apostle Paul expressed a clear warning regarding the nature of counterfeit, spiritual pathways:
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled [deceived] Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. (2 Corinthians 11:3)
This verse describes for us what these spiritual counterfeits do. These subtle, beguiling teachings from Satan corrupt us, and rob us of the simple truth of The Most High’s written Word! These spiritual mixtures contain the corrupt widsom of this world, and they lead downward to death. They are earthly, soulish (sensual), demonic (James 3:15).
Satan is capable of transforming himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), so his deceptions can allure anyone who desires spiritual insight. Have we ourselves become beguiled — captivated and deceived, and led away from the simplicity that is in Messiah? We should never underestimate the ability of Satan to duplicate religious truth or experience. We must avoid the notion that sincerity equates truth!!
It is crucial that we learn The Most High’s written Word for ourselves, because it is the source of authority and truth for all our beliefs and actions. When we know and obey The Most High’s Word, then we will know the truth, and thereby, we will not be led down into the destructive bondage of a ‘spiritual mixture!’ What may SEEM to be right, what may be popular; what “everyone-else-is-doing!” is often a ‘way’ that appeals to our carnal nature, appeals to our own soulish, human wisdom and desires.
What may ‘seem‘ to be right is appealing to many! The Scriptures confirm this: “Broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are which go into destruction in this way” (Matthew 7:13).

Counterfeit Wisdom

Many Born-again Thirsty Souls do not realize the dangers of embracing a spiritual mixture, and are therefore following other ‘gods.’
Instead of following the true, Almighty--The Most High, and His wisdom [The Most High’s written WORD], many are searching for eternal wisdom, but are looking in the wrong places! They are doing what seems to be right, what feels right to them. But they are falling prey to popular, counterfeit, spiritually dark wisdom —the wisdom of ‘Egypt’ — the wisdom of this world.
Sadly, many Thirsty Souls have not forsaken Egypt! They are feeding on one or more of the myriads of Spiritual Mixtures — the corrupted teachings of ‘worldly wisdom’ — the twisted thinking and false gods of religious systems.
Spiritual mixtures do two things: either they take away from, or they add to, the Scriptures. This is a direct and dangerous violation of the written Scriptures (see Deuteronomy 4:2; 12:32; Revelation 22:18-19)
What does Abba have to say about spiritual mixtures?
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! (Isaiah 5:20-21)
These verses are a very good description of spiritual mixtures —
  • mixing good with evil,
  • mixing light with darkness,
  • mixing sweet with bitter,
  • mixing a little bit of the false with the true.
What does The Most High say about those who accept and embrace such mixtures? — “Woe unto them!!” Woe to them because they have rejected the pure truth of The Most High’s written Word, leaning on their own human understanding, trusting in their own imaginations.
It is complete foolishness to insist that our own human wisdom and understanding is greater than The Most High’s pure Word.
Those who refuse the superior authority of The Most High’s Word place themselves in dangerous territory. To rely solely on human understanding and man’s twisted teachings of The Most High’s Word makes our ‘own’ human understanding into our own fabricated ‘god.’ Such thinking is idolatrous! How could any one of us, as mere human beings, say, “I know better than my Creator!”?

King Saul’s Example

Consider what happened to King Saul when he refused to obey the Word of The Most High:
And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the The Most High thy The Most High, which he commanded thee: for now would the The Most High have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever. But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the The Most High hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the The Most High hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the The Most High commanded thee. (1 Samuel 13:13-14)
The prophet Samuel warned Saul, saying “You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of The Most High.” King Saul had acted on his own wisdom and initiative, refusing to wait patiently to fulfill the Word of The Most High. From that moment onward, Saul was on a downward spiral.
King Saul never recovered from his lofty way of thinking about himself; he never truly repented for following his own carnal wisdom and desires. As a result, King Saul gradually became more troubled, more unpredictable, more angry and hateful. His understanding eventually became so dark that he sought for wisdom from a witch — a woman with a familiar spirit, a spiritist (1 Samuel 28:7-25).
Saul’s example is a warning for us today!
Rejecting the Word of The Most High is a very serious thing (1 Samuel 15:23). The dark and deceptive pathway that Saul chose led him further downward. Saul eventually violated The Most High’s instruction, by consulting a spiritist [a witch] (Deuteronomy 18:9-12; Leviticus 19:31). This was a grievous violation of the Word of The Most High, and illustrates the eventual outcome of those who embrace the worldly wisdom of Egypt!

Be Alert!

It is good to yearn for understanding of the things of Messiah’s eternal kingdom (see 2 Corinthians 4). Yet we must be vigilant to learn for ourselves, the true, undefiled wisdom that comes from The Most High’s written Scriptures! And then we must be willing to follow the simplicity of what The Most High’s written WORD actually says.
The wrong pathways are those that appeal to our natural, human understanding, pathways that ‘seem’ to be wise and right, but contradict the written Scriptures.
We need to be very guarded against accepting any spiritual ‘awakening’ or spiritual ‘fire’ or spiritual ‘wisdom’ that is a mixture of darkness and light. Receiving false spiritual enticements will cause us to stumble spiritually, bring curses into our lives, and prevent us from walking with Messiah, who is the true ‘Light of Life.’
We must love the Truth of the written Word of The Most High, so that we will avoid the strong delusions of spiritual mixtures (see 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12)!

Walking in Darkness

Yahushua Messiah tells us:
If a man walk in the night, he stumbles, because there is no light in him. (John 11:10)
Yahushua is telling us that if we are walking, or living our lives, in ‘the night,’ or in spiritual darkness, then we will stumble, because there is no light [no Truth] in us! Living in spiritual darkness causes stumbling!
Only by studying the Words of Messiah for ourselves [all the written Words of Scripture], with the enlightenment from the Holy Spirit — only by a firm commitment to obey The Most High’s WORDS, and none other — can we then begin to be alert to dangerous spiritual mixtures. This is key to avoid stumbling!
Yahushua tells us how to avoid walking in darkness:
Then spake Yahushua … saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12)
Those who follow [obey] Yahushua, and His Words, will NOT walk in darkness! They will have the LIGHT of Life!
To follow Yahushua Messiah, is to walk in His path. To follow Messiah is to do what He did, and avoid what He avoided.
Spiritual Darkness is Very Dangerous! Spiritual darkness prevents us from seeing the incorruptible LIGHT and truth of Yahushua’s message! Spiritual darkness prevents us from recognizing the great importance of what King David said: “I have kept [guarded] the ways of The Most High, and have not wickedly departed from my Elohim!” (Psalms 18:21)

The Prophets: Isaiah, Hosea, Jeremiah

The prophet Isaiah gives us an important standard for Believers in Yahushua Messiah:
To the law [the Torah] and to the testimony [the words and life-witness of Yahushua and His Disciples]: if they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is no Light in them. (Isaiah 8:20)
This verse teaches us that if we embrace a spiritual ‘wisdom’ from those who do not speak according to the complete Word of The Most High – both the Torah (the Old Testament), and the Testimony of Yahushua Messiah (The New Testament) – then it is a worldly ‘wisdom’ having NO light, thus NO truth! Those who reject the validity of the Torah and its importance to the New Testament have forsaken ‘the patience of the saints’: “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of The Most High, and the faith of Yahushua” (Revelation 14:12; see also Revelation 12:17).
To have ‘No Light’ is to be in the darkness of ignorance, deception, and bondage! Receiving spiritual guidance that is not in agreement with the full counsel of The Most High’s written Word, is feeding on a spiritual mixture.
The Most High warns us further through the prophet Hosea, telling us that it is The Most High’s people who are ‘destroyed‘ because they lack the knowledge of Abba’s written WORD, and because they have rejected The Most High’s law [the Torah] (Hosea 4:6)!
The prophet Jeremiah gives us another warning, telling us that those who refuse to hear The Most High’s Words are those who walk in the imagination of their heart, and are actually walking after other gods — such people are ‘good for nothing!‘ (Jeremiah 13:10)
These are sobering warnings! We need to earnestly consider the seriousness of Abba’s warnings! (See also these warnings: Leviticus 18:3; 20:23; Deuteronomy 12:30-31; Isaiah 47:12-14; Jeremiah 10:2; Ezekiel 20:32.)
To avoid darkness and bondage, we must pursue spiritual guidance that is in complete agreement with all the Words of the Bible, because “ALL Scripture is given by inspiration of The Most High, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). The Most High’s written WORD is the only en-LIGHT-en-ment that is true and undefiled!

Testing Ourselves

The best thing we can do is test ourselves, and ‘see’ if we are keeping our focus on The Most High, and on His written WORD; test ourselves to see if we are trusting in twisted, man-made teachings rather than the pure Word of The Most High. We test ourselves by looking to see if we have forsaken Egypt, forsaken the worldly wisdom of this world.
Are we living our lives according to The Most High’s written WORD (2 John 1:6-11)? Are we following Messiah’s example, being humble and obedient to the Scriptures as He was?
Or, are we embracing defiled, soulish, worldly wisdom? Are we feeding on Spiritual Mixtures that are a little bit of truth, mixed with error [poison]? When we are feeding on error, we will not be following Messiah.
Are we committed to following the written Word of The Most High [the Bible]? Do we know the Word for ourselves, so that we can avoid the deceiving and destructive teachings of Spiritual Mixtures?
Are we loving Abba with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength by seeking HIS Word diligently, and then obeying it?
Forsaking Egypt is an essential step in learning to please the heavenly Abba, in learning to ‘walk by faith,‘ and in receiving the goal of our faith — ‘the salvation of our souls’ (Hebrews 11:6; 1 Peter 1:6-9)!
Forsaking the ways and systems of this world will thoroughly test us! — testing our resolve to follow our Saviour, Yahushua Messiah! Forsaking Egypt will test our willingness to endure rejection for the sake of honouring our Saviour!
  • The central, core error of many Spiritual Mixtures is a denial of the deity of Yahushua Messiah , and His sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection for the remission of our sins. If we are involved in any spiritual ‘wisdom’ or system that embraces this error, then our eternal salvation is uncertain! We should question whether we have truly become Born-again (John 3:3-21)!
It takes time, commitment, and determination to learn Abba’s Word for ourselves, and to forsake worldly wisdom, by genuinely obeying The Most High’s Word. Will we remain true to His Word? Will we be faithful to His Word, even in the small matters? Will we forsake Egypt, regardless of the difficulties?
Understanding The Most High’s written Word and Truth requires us to be somewhat ‘mechanical’ in our approach. Without a lot of emotion or commotion, we simply seek Abba everyday, by reading/studying the Word of The Most High [the Bible], and praying each day — praying for the Holy Spirit’s guidance, and praying for a willing and obedient heart. Little by little, we will begin to know what is truth, and we can repent of any involvement with spiritual mixtures, and we can avoid what is false.

Walking In Darkness: Indicators

What are some clues, some indicators that we may be walking in a pathway of darkness — that we are embracing a spiritual counterfeit, feeding on corrupt, worldly wisdom?
  • In the spiritual realm, the Bible is the standard of that which is straight — that which is true! Anything that departs from the Bible is false. Whether it departs by little or much is relatively unimportant. Some of the subtlest deceptions are those that appear to differ only a little from the Bible!
Here are some links revealing additional Indicators of Walking in Darkness:
We can see that a little bit of darkness is often more dangerous than complete darkness! The pathway of a spiritual mixture is a dangerous and hazy pathway.
Those walking in a spiritual mixture – those who embrace a spiritual system that mixes worldly, soulish, even demonic wisdom with the Truth of The Most High’s Word – they are more inclined to cling to their own ways, their own imaginations, rather than to repent. The little bit of spiritual darkness has deceived them, and it prevents them from seeing that they have gotten off Abba’s pathway! They are not even aware of their delusion, which is alarmingly strong!
The strength of one’s delusion begins with a refusal to love the truth of The Most High’s Word:
And then that Wicked one will be revealed … whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore The Most High sends them a strong delusion, so that they would believe a lie [what is false], in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:8-12)
As this Scripture passage teaches us, it is The Most High Himself who sends a strong delusion to those who refuse to love the truth — to those who refuse to love the simple truth of The Most High’s WORD!
That is a frightening thought!! A frightening truth!!
May each one of us earnestly pray for, and always seek to have, the LOVE of the truth!

Avoiding the Way that ‘Seems’ Right

Once we become Born-again as followers of Yahushua Messiah, our deepest heart’s desire is to learn Abba’s written Word for ourselves, so that we can love Him by obeying Him! Born-again Believers delight in the Saviour, Yahushua, and strongly desire to walk according to The Most High’s written WORD, to walk worthy of Him (1 Timothy 4:10; Colossians 1:10)!
If we would avoid the strong delusions, avoid the forbidden counterfeits, the false gods of this world, and thus grow in genuine faith, then we must begin to follow Moses’ example — we must forsake Egypt, forsake the worldly wisdom of this world.
Abba’s ways are not according to human ways or thoughts. We must be determined to follow the written Scriptures, and not deviate from them! We need to cry out for The Most High’s help to walk with Him as we seek the wisdom and understanding that is in agreement with the written WORD of The Most High (Psalms 119:169).

By loving the truth of Abba’s written Word, by seeking Abba with all our heart, then, by His mercy and grace, we can avoid the delusion of spiritual mixtures — we can avoid the way that ‘seems’ right!
Shema Selah--we must study and seek the Most High for ourselves to find HIM and be removed from every mixture and deception that we have inherited!!
