A zav shall bring the prescribed offering on the eighth day of his purification --Leviticus 15:13-15 13 And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean. 14 And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the Lord unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, an give them unto the priest: 15 And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord for his issue.

A woman who has a discharge of blood outside her period of separation shall remain contaminated  (Zavah) --Leviticus 15:25 And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.
235. A zavah shall bring the prescribed offering on the eighth day of her purification --Leviticus 15:28-29 28 But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean. 29 And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
236. You shall pour out the blood of the clean animal or bird and cover it with earth --Leviticus 17:13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.

We had learned and discussed at some length in the church about the mark of the beast and what happens to those who accept that which is against Almighty God, Yahweh?  It was not until this time and season that it became clear from Revelation 14 that there are two marks.  We have see throughout the Bible where hasatan, the devil has tried and has had some success in having people follow his counterfeit throughout the centuries.  The ability to create is Yahweh's alone so no matter how much power hasatan usurps, he can never create only try to duplicate with his shadows of truth, masquerading as light.  This is seen in the early church that observed the feast and times of Yahweh as did the Hebrew people who understood the appointed times were to stand forever and observed for generations.  When Yeshua walked the earth it was said often of Him, as was His custom.  This is some thing taught and observed continually.  An action that becomes as natural as breathing.  It would never enter into His mind to up and change the feast days set forth in the Tanakh and had been observed for centuries before His physical arrival.  While Yahweh's word stands and declares that He changes not--how then did we end up with Sunday worship?
This desire to separate from the Hebraic/Jewish roots of the Christian faith was the beginning process to transform the Jewish Yeshua to the Greek Jesus.  As our study has continued it is the name and much more!  What is the basis and setting of the name?  Can all of the holidays be found instructed by Yahweh in the Bible?  His feast days are all listed and described what to do, when and where, in His word!  Even the observance of days note the worship the greatness of Yahweh in the later years of the Hebraic world still adhere to His other principles.  Chanukah for example is not listed in the Tanakh as a feast day of Yahweh.  This is the time that honor is given to Yahweh for the people who would not change to another day, nor accept another god--fought and were murdered for not succumbing to the overwhelming Greek culture.  They were faced with a choice to allow pagan worship in their temple or to be slaughtered.  Many of them chose to be slaughtered than to go against any part of Yahweh's instructions that they had received and lived their lives according to for many years.  This destruction of people was not just for the strong men prepared for war but old men, women and children.  Their whole way of life from His direction was under attack to the point of death if captured or rebellion if they escaped.  Unfortunately as with the early church and the blending of the pagan with the holy happened in this time as well.  There were some that were enticed to join the Greek pagan practices even offering sacrifice of a pig on the altar in the temple to Zeus.  Which can seem like a small issue when we are not reading and understanding that specific instructions are given for what, how and when sacrifices are to be done.  This was so that the people would not give credit to any other by sacrificing in another manner.
We have to stop over looking the owners manual or users manual that tells us all that we need to know.  Sure many of us don't read those if we are good they are all piled into the junk drawers of our kitchen.  Possibly reviewed if there is a problem.  This causes us to under utilize that which we have received.  While a similar view is seen of the books in the Tanakh, we have to know that He gave them to us for a reason.  That we would study and know and not only in a panic seek out the answer, but to be in constant study for understanding and application.  How sad it must have been for Yeshua when He was asked for a sign, when they had already been given all the signs!  They were given to observe the Sabbath the seventh day of the week, forever.  His feast days, Passover, Feast of Tabernacles, Shavout for example all have scriptural basis for being observed.  The problem the enemy knows as he did then with the sacrificing of pigs on the altar, in Jerusalem and the changing of the day of worship, in the early church--that if we do not uphold Yahweh's directions in obedience that is a sign for us that He wrote His Torah in our hearts and minds.  This is also a sign to everyone else of the great, mighty and awesome Yahweh we serve!  No one else does these things, nor can they! That is His mark our observance of His feast days, which by default of observing another day of worship is the spiritual mark of the beast.  We have a lot of focus on the physical but what is the mark on our spirits?  Where is our focus, for that is what will master you!  Is there a large amount of time spent on nice sayings that are not found in any Bible?  Are the confessions alone devoid action nor bearing good fruit?  Click here to hear this awesome teaching again!!

This chapter gives more detail to the Levitical priesthood on the handling of blood.  The directions are specific so that the people would not partake in sacrifices to anyone but Yahweh.  There was a practice of sacrificing to goat-demons that was to be left behind in Egypt.  It was by the hand of the Great I AM that they were delivered out and all the worship is for Him.  The blood was given for the people's atonement on the altar for their souls.  This same blood was used in the Lord's Passover when the people placed the blood on the doorposts, caused the death angel to passover them.  The people are told specifically to drain the blood from the clean animal that is being slaughtered and cover the blood with dirt.  The priests were the ones who were to sacrifice the animal and were to get a share of the meat as their portion.  There are in some cases the animals are slaughtered in the field and then brought to the priest for offerings with the blood.  The decree of not eating the blood in the meat was for all who dwelled with the children of Israel that was not to be done among them.  It would cause that person to be cut off.  This has been stated as isolation or even death.  The removal of all blood is difficult but the people were to seek to drain most of it out and then have the meat cooked thoroughly.  While the eating of an animal that died without being slaughtered (natural causes or torn by other animals) may result in being cut off.  If the person washes themselves and their clothing they will be cleansed of guilt at sunset but if they do not wash their bodies and clothes they bear their guilt.  This is seen as harsh by some, yet we cannot question the wisdom of our Creator.  He is Yahweh and His word does not change.  All the directions that He has given us is for our benefit, set down tradition and ask for the ancient paths!  Click here for more on this teaching.

Psalm 104:15; Proverbs 12:25, 18:12, 20:5, 27:19

Fiveamprayer this portion has the famous Red Sea crossing of the children of Israel.  From their liberation from Egypt they come to be flanked by natural obstacles on either side and pharaoh chasing them from behind.  This threw the people into a panic.  Which is not hard to understand and honestly what we often do.  When we come to obstacles that begins to stir up doubt in our hearts.  If left unchecked leads to complaint and falsifying of the situation that we were delivered out of in preference, to what seems insurmountable.  Which in our natural ability is very true--we on our own could not deliver ourselves out, just as the children of Israel could not deliver themselves out.  Yahweh who was leading them, comes behind them to separate them from the armies of Egypt, while the Red Sea was parted with a wall of water on the right and a wall of water on the left.  Not only did Adonai divide the sea but also dried up the ground for the Israelite to cross over!  They were not only fully delivered from Egypt but they did not see the Egyptians as a threat no more, forever!  This drying ground on the sea bed was only for the delivered people.  When the Egyptians pursued them, they got stuck in the mud and their movement was difficult.  Once all of the army of Egypt was in the Red Sea, He closed up the walls on the right and left, swallowed up the chariots, archers, as well as pharaoh himself.  The children of Jacob were able to see their bodies wash up on the shore.  This gave the people even more confidence to know that pharaoh was totally dealt with.  Recalling what Moses said that they would no longer be a threat.  This brought on a joyful celebration of the people who then began to fear and revere Yahweh for by His great power was without question!  The people knew that Moses was sent of Yahweh to the the people.  The mighty acts by the hand of the Almighty while still in Egypt did not elicit this kind of reverence, but did help to build up the people to trust Him.  The path that He led them out was not the shortest distance to the promised land that even Joseph knew they would someday return and required of them to take his bones when they are remembered of Yahweh.  He knew that they were not mentally equipped to face the Philistine army and were lead to the Red Sea instead.  We have to know that the shortest path is not always the path that Yahweh will take us.  Usually there is quite bit in us that needs to be worked out.  Because we don't know our hearts, He works this situation all to His plan and our good.  Allow Yahweh, our Elohim to be our God, the Most High, the Great I AM!  As He leads us out, He is instructing us to trust Him and rely in Him totally.  Once we reach that point we have peace that He is in control and not movable by any other means!  To hear this teaching again click here.

Testimony Tuesday--Against All Odds, I Have Called Thee To Be A Prophet To The Nations

Jeremiah 1; 2 Peter 3; Job 40:15-19; Genesis 1:1-2; Isaiah 45:18; Ephesians 1:4; Mark 13:11

We are walking in today:  Testimony Tuesday--Against All Odds, I Have Called Thee To Be A Prophet To The Nations

Witness persecute throughout the Bible:  H7291 radaph to be behind, follow after, pursue, run after
Jeremiah 17:18, 29:18; Psalm 7:1, 7:5, 10:2, 31:15, 35:3, 35:6, 69:26, 71:11, 83:15, 119:54, 119:86; Lamentations 3:66; Matthew 5:11, 5:44, 10:23, 23:34; Luke 11:40, 21:12; John 5:16, 15:20; Romans 12:14

This morning, Fiveamprayer we look into one of the well known and often quoted prophets, Jeremiah.  We have how he was called into his ministry.  As with other books that begin with the year of the king's reign as the marking point of time.  His name has the meaning whom Yahweh raises up, or launches forth.  He was of a priestly family and would have studied in preparation of being a priest as he matured.  He was called by Yahweh at the age of 21 and was a prophet that warned the king of Babylon would overtake the tribe of Judah.  He also warns of another type of king of Babylon that will come at the end of days.  The concern that Jeremiah has as we have all had--is one of not having enough experience for the task that He assigns us.  With him being studied in the Davar Elohim, the word of God, since a child he would be able to rely on the Holy Spirit to bring to remembrance that which he had studied.  Never make the mistake that those that are placed on assignment for Yahweh don't have to prepare or study!  John 14:26 (NKJV) But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.   What is it that Yeshua said to us in His teachings?  Where did it originate?  It is all in the word of God!  That is why we must study, Fiveamprayer!  2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV) Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  As we proceed in this chapter we have where Jeremiah who was known by Yahweh before he was formed, to be a prophet--He is calling us out, all who heed His call to return to the ancient path.  He is charged by the Most High to speak what He commands him to speak when Jeremiah brings up his age.  This concern was stemmed in his lack of experience and authority that can come with age.  This brings up a question--'are you speaking whatsoever Yahweh commands you to speak?' Even in the face of those who are more experienced and have more authority?  This is not a excuse to treat others with disrespect, but you are to walk in your assignment with holy boldness and speak His words--not your opinion!!  With Jeremiah being taught and having studied in preparation, Yahweh knew that His word was already in side of him.  By study alone, the Davar Elohim was in Jeremiah's heart now with this touch, also in his mouth.  This strengthens him to walk out this assignment and lets him know not to be fearful of anyone whether in experience or authority, for Yahweh is going with him and will deliver him.  Remaining respectful in giving the message, Yahweh wants,  allows the people to better be able to hear.  Hold fast for He has seen the end from the very beginning!  Do the best with what you have been equipped with!  He does have His agents prepared by His standards for the task that He assigns!  To listen to this teaching again click here.

The Details In The Name

Proverbs 30:4; Acts 4:12; Matthew 1:20-21; Acts 7:45; Hebrews 4:8; Luke 1:31; Psalm 68:4; Isaiah 12:2, 26:4, 38:11; Acts 4:13, 21:40, 22:2; Philippians 3:5; Acts 26:14; 2 Peter 3:15-16; Genesis 17:19; Exodus 2:10; John 4:23; Revelation 22:4, 14:1; Psalm 22:22

We are walking in today:  The Details In The Name

Witness Yahweh, God of my salvation throughout the Bible:  H3468 yesha`
deliverance, salvation, rescue, safety, welfare, prosperity
Micah 7:7; Habakkuk 3:18; Psalm 18:46, 25:5, 27:9, 51:4, 88:1

Do we really know the name of the Most High One?  Could our Savior when He walked the earth answer to a Greek name?  Is God a personal name?  These are questions that we must consider, Fiveamprayer.  The naming of people in those days, in that culture are distant from how children are named now.  Our current selection of the name based on how it sounds, or familial history--for example, would be strange back then.  In the time of Yeshua and the Hebraic culture, the naming of a child was with meaning or intent for their lives.  We cannot accept the changing of spelling to make the name sound similar in another language and yet divorce the meaning found in the original name!  But God is love, it does not matter what we call Him.  Yet if we are called by the wrong name we are highly likely to correct that person.  Why would Almighty God permit His name to be confused or unknown?  Was it to be sought out?  Was it to be revealed at His appointed time?
When a witness is in court and the attorney asks the witness if the person who committed the crime is in the courtroom and the answer is yes; the next question is for the witness to point out that person.  Once the defendant has been visually identified the attorney will ask for the court record to reflect that the witness pointed to the defendant and includes the name of the defendant.  Why so many steps to show that the defendant has been identified and their name recorded in the courts written records?  There is to be no question, who the witness is referring to!  In the instances where a nickname is used they will underscore that answer with a clarifying question that would show what the legal name of the defendant is.  Now this is just in our court system, that the name of the person is very important.  Would we be able to do the same with the name Jesus when we study scriptures from a Hebraic mindset?  With an understanding of the language, the letters and meanings of the words will better assist us this task.  The name Jesus is not translatable into Hebrew--looks like we have a problem with our Messiah who was born of Jewish parents, who spoke Hebrew but have a son with Greek name.
The importance of names is also seen in the Bible and is denoted when Yahweh tells what the child shall be called before they are born.  The name selection is not to be determined by the parents but was set forth by Yahweh according to His purposes.  With Yosef and Miriam the Hebrew names for Mary and Joseph--who spoke Hebrew as the rest of their community did, would have said and spoken Miriam's first son as Yeshua.  We can not alter the name that is above all names.  The spelling can vary due to the Hebrew letters may not have exact equivalent to letters in English.  The focus that we have had in reading our Bibles for so many years is from the perspective of us today, 21st century America.  The real context of our questions should be, 'how were things for them back then?'  What they would find common place or out of the ordinary?  Once we have the correct surroundings of culture, economy and common practices we are better suited to understand scripture.  Only then can we find modern day similarities.  Without this first step and only taking the scriptures in their current state--lacking in Hebraic culture and language we are already off course from the very start!  Often times in translation from one language to another is based on meaning but, this is not necessarily carried over in translating a person's name.  This must be reviewed, in Hebrew, the name has a meaning and usually becomes a part of their personality or what they accomplish in their lives.  Exodus 2:10 (NKJV) And the child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. So she called his name Moses, saying, “Because I drew him out of the water.” Genesis 17:19 (NKJV) Then God said: “No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his descendants after him. The Third Commandment

217. You shall not become contaminated through any teeming thing that creeps on the earth --Leviticus 11:43-44 43 Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby. 44 For I am the Lord your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
218. A woman who gives birth to a male shall be ritually unclean for seven days; for 33 days she shall remain in blood of purification.  If she gives birth to a female, she shall be ritually unclean for fourteen days; for 66 days she shall remain in blood of purification --Leviticus 12:2-5 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean. 3 And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. 4 And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled. 5 But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.
219. A ritually unclean person may not enter the Sanctuary --Leviticus 12:4 And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.
220. A woman shall bring the prescribed offering after childbirth and purification --Leviticus 12:6 And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:
221. The Kohen shall declare the one with tzara's contaminated --Leviticus 13:3 And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.
222. You shall not shave a nesek affliction --Leviticus 13:33 He shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more:
223. You shall clearly distinguish one who has a tzara'as affliction -- Leviticus 13:45 And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.
224. You shall declare a malignant tzara'as of the garment contaminated --Leviticus 13:51 And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.
225. The metzora shall be brought to the Kohen on the day of his purification --Leviticus 14:2 This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:
226. The metzora shall shave off all of his hair, immerse his clothing and immerse his flesh in water --Leviticus 14:9 But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.

Fiveamprayer, we have to find out which is the way that we are going?  Is it the traditions of men?  Is it your own personal preference?  How are you or anyone else able to determine the good and right way? Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death.  So who do we find who knows the way?  Will we ask for the ancient paths?  Jeremiah 6:16 (AMP) Thus says the Lord: Stand by the roads and look; and ask for the eternal paths, where the good, old way is; then walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk in it!  Fiveamprayer, let us not be disobedient to our King!  When we return to our Hebraic understanding of His word, the scriptures come to life!  When we look to the patterns of the Hebrew language we find that this is a verb based language.  The focus is on action and motion.  When we read the Bible from our present Greek mindset, that came forth centuries ago, places the focus on the nouns which leads to difficulites in translating Scripture.  With this overlay of the Greek mindset when reading scripture combinded with our 21st century culture sets us even further from Yahweh's way.  We find this in the Hebraic study of the word Torah which is often mistranslated as law in many Bibles.  With our Greek mindset, law is harsh and not something we feel that our God should place upon us.  The word Torah, H8451 means law, direction, instruction.  Now we do find that word law again, hold that thought.  With a Hebraic mindset we shall find the actions behind this word, Torah.  The root word yarrah H3384 means to throw, shoot, cast, pour.  This is what is to direct us.  If we look to traffic laws, for example, they give us direction and instruction on how to operate vehicles on the road ways safely.  That we would have control in this motion.  When looking at yarrah to throw, shoot, cast  or pour is an intentional action.  There is thought and intention involved.  Something is being moved in a direction that you put the effort behind to move.  For example to shoot an arrow, you are aiming for the target.  Yahweh gives us His word that we would be in motion with thought and intention involved.  So that we too reach our goal.  The Greek mindset was so focused on nouns that the action would be secondary thus leading to a lesser focus.  Take a look at the word faith.  In Hebrew it is emunah H530, firmness, fidelity, steadfastness, steadiness with a root word of H529 emuwn which is faithfulness, trusting.  This shows the action tied to the word being firm, steady then the root gives us, trusting and faithfulness.  This shows us that there is an action involved in faith.  In the Greek we have pistis G4102 meaning conviction of the truth of anything, belief; a conviction or belief respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, generally with the included idea of trust and holy fervor born of faith and joined with it.  The Greek definition is focused on man and the secondary relationship to Almighty God, what the man believes over the actual actions.  This is an idea that is only an exercise of thought alone even if professed continually by His word and trust there in.  What is it that is actually being done?  When we look to the origin of the Bible and the writers of the text who were all Hebrew--we cannot divorce the actions-based language nor overlay a noun-focused context and still arrive at the same meaning.
With the process of Hellenism beginning to take over the known world around 320 BC and then future centuries to be perfected in the mindset of various cultures and nations; now we arrive at this current time when looking at Hebraically set text with Hellenized eyes will cause the reader to only grasp at the meaning.  Often in error, for the words in Hebrew do not always have an English equivalent or has various meanings--the wrong word could be selected by the translators.  Much like trying to reach a box on the top shelf that your fingers can only move a little at a time, we must continue to seek, study and find our way--according to His way.  That we stumble no longer in our ideas, listless and lacking understanding.  His way is direction and instruction, Fiveamprayer we no longer have to figure it out ourselves!  This would also prevent everyone from having their own personal interpretation that hardly matches their neighbor's.  A standardized framework for all to use and be led in!  All set forth from the beginning by our Creator, Yahweh the King of the Universe!  That was followed originally and is to be followed forever more!  Psalm 119:89  (CJB) Your word continues forever, Adonai, firmly fixed in heaven.  To hear this weekend meditation again click here.

5 Smooth Stones, Exodus 25--Supplies And Directions For The Tabernacle

Exodus 25; John 3:16; Romans 8:29; 2 Corinthians 9:7; 2 Samuel 6:6-7; Psalm 104:3-4; Exodus 20:4; Leviticus 16:15-16; Romans 3:25; Leviticus 24:5-9; Hebrews 8:5; Revelation 4:5; Numbers 6:25

We are walking in today:  5 Smooth Stones, Exodus 25--Supplies And Directions For The Tabernacle

Witness deceived throughout the Bible:  H2048 hathal to mock, defraud
Genesis 31:7; Deuteronomy 11:16; Isaiah 44:20; Jeremiah 49:16; Ezekiel 14:9; Obediah 1:7; Job 15:31; Proverbs 20:1; Lamentations 1:19; Luke 21:8; Romans 7:11; 1 Corinthians 6:9; Revelation 19:20, 20:10

This study of Exodus 25 is a first for many of us.  We have returned to the wholeness of His word, from Genesis to Revelation!  This chapter gives us the details of the directions of how to build, set up and construct the tabernacle.  This building did not begin until the people gave willing to Yahweh, not motivated by a specific need.  We have all experienced the coercing of offerings by churches and programs on television.  This is not according to scripture.  We are to have a heart to give, we are made in His image and likeness--Yahweh is a giver and we should reflect that.  The details of how to construct the items that were to go into the tabernacle, how the the tent was to be made, and the items that the priest were to wear.  We can see with all of this detail that Yahweh has this all planned out to the finest points.  How could we believe that we could pick and choose which scriptures we are to uphold over any others?  The tabernacle was the place that Yahweh would meet the people,  so all things had to be in order.  The awesome thing about all of this is that He did not leave anything to chance that the children of Israel or us now, would get things right on our own.  He is Avinu Malkeinu, our Father our King--how He cares and protects us, even from ourselves!  Each of the items the lampstand or menorah, the shewbread table, the Ark of the Covenant and all of the utensils would be made as described.  From the number of lights on the lampstand to the quality of the flour to be used in making the loaves of the shewbread, how many talents of gold were to used, what was to be placed in the ark gives the children of Israel specific directions.  Amongst all of these details we find something new.  That the ark was to contain His testimony.  This is what Yahweh has said and given to the people.  This is not Moses word, but the word that Yahweh gave to him to give to the people.  Under the Greek mindset it is often viewed as the law of Moses, that is an error.  These are the laws given to us the by King of the Universe--Yahweh.  We have discussed this week the importance of a personal name and when these changes are not stopped other alterations can occur.  Over time and progression of more changes, results in a final destination that is nowhere near the origin or original purpose.  Only with careful study, prayer and discussion with like-minded believers can this be puzzled out.  The most awesome thing about finding out more of the truth, which is the understanding that He alone affords us to receive, to better know Him in the timing that He purposed.  It was not until this time and season that this could be revealed in such a grand scale.   This return to the original and closer review, study and reading of scripture bears this all out!  Baruch ata Adonai!  To hear more of this teaching click here.

Torah Portion--Bo/Came Exodus 10:1-13:16; Jeremiah 46:13-28; Acts 14-18

Exodus 10:1-13:16; Jeremiah 46:13-28; Acts 14-18; Romans 6:23; 2 Timothy 2:21-26; Romans 7:15

We are walking in today:  Torah Portion--Bo/Come Exodus 10:1-13:16; Jeremiah 46:13-28; Acts 14-18

Witness jealousy throughout the Bible: H7068 qin'ah feelings of great intensity, jealousy, jealous disposition as of a husband
Deuteronomy 29:20, 32:16, 32:21; 1 Kings 14:22; Isaiah 42:13; Ezekiel 8:3, 16:38; Psalm 78:58, 79:5; Proverbs 6:34; Romans 11:11

From the plagues that we looked at in our previous Torah Portion, we find Moses and pharaoh at the end of the plagues--which are a continuance of the display of Yahweh's power.  This display was to show all the people in the land that there is no one like until Him!  This was to utterly cast down the apparent ability and power afforded to the pagan gods in the people's eyes.  This great and mighty show of His sovereignty, that would be retold all throughout the Earth for years to come.  That all who hear and many will hear of His awesome power--that in Yahweh alone can we trust!  Throughout all of these plagues the heart of pharaoh was hardened to display this power and ability that He alone has.  So that the people would turn way from the pagan gods to the only true Elohim, Yahweh.  We had in the witnesses this morning--Deuteronomy 32:16 (CJB)They roused him to jealousy with alien gods, provoked him with abominations.  Fiveamprayer, we have to know that Yahweh is jealous for His people, He has intense feelings for them.  They are not to offer His worship to any other!  We are not to place our petitions before anyone else!
This portion also has the setting of the eternal observance and the beginning of the year for the children of Israel--this is Passover or Pesach in Hebrew, that is Yahweh's appointed time. Which was given to the people to remember that by His mighty hand alone they were caused to exit the land of pharaoh.  Since this was only wrought by His hands, it was to be observed and taught to future generations less they forget what the great I AM had done for His people.  So that the people are not led away, nor seek other faulty means of deliverance and provision.  This was done to keep us from seeking out the erroneous, when He alone is true!  As the children of Israel were leaving out they were given favor from the people of Egypt and received gold, silver and clothing.  So the people all left out of Egypt in haste.  The observance of Passover was to be remembered for all time, less the people forget and seek pagan gods.  This reminder was for those who walked out of Egypt and for their future generations--for when the latter generations would ask, 'why do we do this?'  They would be taught of the greatness of Yahweh who brought the people out of the land of Egypt from the hand of pharaoh.  This yearly observance and many others throughout the year gives us reminders of who we are and who's we are.  Citizens of the greatest King, Yahweh who rules and reigns throughout the universe!  To hear more of this teaching click here.

Testimony Tuesday--How To Recognize False Christs

John 4:23-26; Matthew 24:4-5; 2 Corinthians 11:3-4, 11:13-15; 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, 2:8-10; Matthew 7:21; John 6:40, 5:24; Matthew 22:23; John 14:21

We are walking in today:  Testimony Tuesday--How To Recognize False Christs

Witness glorify throughout the Bible:  H3513 kabad to be heavy, be weighty, be grievous, be hard, be rich, be honourable, be glorious, be burdensome, be honoured
Isaiah 24:15, 25:3, Jeremiah 30:19; Psalm 22:23, 50:15, 86:9, 86:12; Matthew 5:16; John 12:28, 13:32, 16:14, 17:1, 17:5,21:19; Romans 15:6, 15:9; 1 Corinthians 6:20; 2 Corinthians 9:13; 1 Peter 2:12, 4:16; Revelation 15:4

We have the warning from Yeshua that there will be false christs who will attempt to deceive and mislead many.  This warning can be shocking for who would dare to do such horrific thing?  Many are willing and have set all of their focus and finances at the feet of this false christ.  This warning lets us know that even the very elect will be deceived.  Closer study reveals where they will show up.  Yeshua tells us not to go out to the desert to see this counterfeit nor to uphold the wonders and miracles that he will be able to preform.  We have to study and know to understand.  This is more than a confession of the name Jesus.  Actually the name would be Yeshua in the Hebrew tongue.  We also have to see how we observed the Father's will, the Torah.  Our actions are also in question not only what we profess!  This is a change for many of us who have been taught only that which we believe and declare is required and our lives and actions can be as far from His directions as possible and yet still considered approved.  Those who are against the commandments of Yahweh are of the false messiah.  This warning of the lawless one who is coming and is already here is rooted in deceit and lies!  The warnings from Yeshua and Paul in the Brit Chadasha is for us to be on watch for the lies to remain on the path of righteousness.  Why would He warn and tells us to worship Him in spirit and in truth?  Could it be that others are worshiping Him outside of the truth and according to the flesh?  We have to study to know for ourselves that we be not deceived!  The safeguard from being deceived is knowing the original so that when the counterfeit shows up you are able to spot the areas that differ.  Return to the original plan of Yahweh that He has set forth from the beginning.  We have all been sunburned and have worshiped in error.  Yahweh open up our understanding to Your truth, that we would no longer remain in the lie.  For the lie can not last forever!  We have walked in false truths and false christs for so long it is not easy to do, but it is necessary to walk in the truth!  For that which we know to be true must be shared, that you do not keep back what is true--you are accountable for what you know and must share!
Was the Son of the Living God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob really crucified on the cross?  Yes He died and rose again, but the question still remains did Yeshua HaMashiach die with His arms stretched out on a cross or lower case t?  Where is this in scripture?  Deuteronomy 21:22-23 a scripture to start with--but do a further study to find out how His Messiah, the only begotten of the Father, Yeshua died for us.  To hear this teaching again click here.

It's All In The Name!

James 5:17-18; John 1:14; Genesis 1:1; Ecclesiastes 9:10; Matthew 25:14-30; Genesis 1:31; John 3:16; Proverbs 30:4; Exodus 3:10, 3:13-15; Jeremiah 34:7; Exodus 20:7; Malachi 1:11; Isaiah 12:4; John 8:32; Exodus 15:2; Psalm 104:35, 105:45; Exodus 6:3; Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 12:2, 26:4; Proverbs 30:6; Revelation 22:19; Mark 12:36; Exodus 3:15; Ezekiel 36:23; Psalm 8:1, 135:13; Isaiah 42:8; Revelation 2:13, 22:4

We are walking in today:  It's All In The Name!

Witness haughty throughout the Bible:  H7311 ruwm to rise, be high, exalted
2 Samuel 22:28; Isaiah 3:16, 10:33, 24:4; Ezekiel 16:50; Zephaniah 3:11; Psalm 16:18, 18:12, 21:24; 131:1

Fiveamprayer what should we be doing if not our work?  If we never had to work again --what would we do?  Do we really put forth our best efforts and skill in this work or is this only what we do all day in trade for income?  Will we do the best work we have in us that we could actually put our name on our work?  Let's look to the one and only Yahweh our God!  The work that He did in the seven days was good and very good.  That He alone could have created such complex function and simplistic beauty is beyond our comprehension.  Yet as we study His word we often find that His personal name has been omitted.  In partiality it was omitted for the holiness of His name, not to be uttered in a common fashion.  Thus the Jewish people would only say His name once a year and only the high priest would say it.  As we move forward this omitting and substitution of God or Lord to replace the infallible name Yahweh, also prepared the transition of Yeshua to the Greek name Jesus.  Now His name in memorial and as He walked on the earth have both been altered.  With our returning to the Hebraic mindset we find why this is important.  As the surrounding nations had many, many pagan gods who all had personal names--the Creator of the Universe could not merely be denoted with capital letters that are used in reference to any gods or persons revered.  The focus on placing a capital letter g in the word God and the term Lord are not sufficient.  How would this keep from confusing the reader?  How would the audience of the text understand who they were referring to?  With the titles in the kingdom, a man could be declared a lord, but does the capital l denote a higher lordship?  The names Lord and God are generic and reduces His personality and attributes of Yahweh, in our sight.  Why would our great and mighty One only be know by His titles, when He has a personal name?  The name that He revels to His people as He did with Moses on Mt. Sinai?  What is the name that He has given us to call Him?  When introducing yourself, what name do you give others to refer to you by?  Would it be ok for someone to just decide that they will call you something different?  Better yet do you answer to anything that someone calls out to you?  Why would we think that we can just change the name of He who Created all things?  Let us return to what He gave us originally, so that all will know in whom we trust?
Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Exodus 20:24 An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.
Psalm 68:4 Sing unto Yahweh, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Yah, and rejoice before him.
Revelation 15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Yahweh, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Fiveamprayer we have to look at the definition of sunburn, before we begin today's study.  This is a radiation burn of the skin that comes from exposure to rays of the sun.  Excessive exposure to UV rays can cause a burning of the skin, that is hot and blistered.  In severe cases can be life threatening.  These damaging effects can result in damaging DNA in the cells of the skin, thus causing a need for a replacement of the damaged cells.  Continued exposure to the sun resulting in minor burns can also increase the chances of skin cancer.  It is advised to wear sunscreen, large floppy hats or cool loose clothing to keep the skin protected from the rays of the sun.

How do sunburns relate to our teaching today?  As we have been going back to the original language and the original intent--we find that the practices that began in the 4th century church actually go back further.  These common practices for them then and many of us now stem for the pagan religion began in Shinar.  This far reaching diabolical plan was begun with Nimrod and planned with his father, Cush.  As this foreign religion took form it was later handled and morphed by his wife Semiramis, attributed to the deifying of them all including a son named Tammuz.  This mystery religion that had its infancy at the feet of the tower of babel gives us clues as we go along as to who is behind all these many layers of deceit.  Who is it that desires above all things to be exalted above the Most High?  The tangled and confusing setting of these man made gods, of the sun worship origin goes like this:  Nimrod marries Semiramis they are powerful rulers in the land and were worshiped by the people.  When Nimrod is killed, Semiramis denotes that she has becomes pregnant by the rays of the sun--which is where she claims Nimrod ascended to.  This reborn Nimrod, now sun god is Semiramis' son Tammuz.  They in turn become a couple and have power over the people, Tammuz as the sun god, Nimrod reborn and Semiramis who was married to and gave birth to a god.  A little confusing?  This confusion lets us know who is behind this for we know that--1 Corinthians 14:33 (NIV) For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people. After the people were scattered by language at the tower of babel, the people still continued in there worship of any or all three of these man crafted deities.  Due to the name changes in language we begin to obtain a list of more pagan gods, when traced back stem from these three under the influence of the great liar, hasatan.
Fast forward to the days of the Greek and Roman empires where this plan continues to morph and blend with various pagan customs from other regions but all stemming from the original lie.  Over time Semiramis became regarded as the queen of heaven and upon her death would reside in the moon as Nimrod was in the sun.  The identification with images or objects of worship placed their believers in direct conflict and disobedience to scripture.  The reason why this lie has been permeated and tweaked to resemble parts of the truth, was to to cause confusion for a later event.  This confusion has lead to the same pagan practices and observances of antiquity in the modern day churches.  The symbols used that tie back to Nimrod and the evil influence he was under to set forth these lies which his wife continued in his death.  Now because of this seemingly overflow of pagan customs and principles-- when the truth arises there appears to be many similarities that the unstudied think are the same.  This sadly is many of us.  For those who found things the made them inquire for clarity were quickly hushed by tradition and authority. Now we are in a season of the truth being revealed, that the lie would be totally disbanded. Even one of the tenets of Christianity is the trinity,  is actually the pagan gods Nimrod, Semiramis and Tammuz.  They keep showing up in various names and attributes yet the overall theme is the same--worship that is unsanctioned, and condemned by Yahweh!  Over the centuries that the people worshiped them in their various guises led us to the birth of the Messiah, Yeshua, the Son of Almighty God, born of a virgin named Mary.  Closer review of the symbolism used in the pictures and statues of Mary and the baby, goes back to pagan symbols of worship of the babel kingdom.  This is not readily known and thus many are deceived when viewing these pagan idols in churches and so the lie is repeated.  This would also cast doubt of the validity of Yeshua and the virgin birth--remember that Semiramis said that she became pregnant by the rays of the sun.  One is the lie and the other the truth--now this is where we dig into scripture.  For all of His word is true and confirms itself.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”
Isaiah 61:1-3 (NKJV)
1 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
3 To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
Jeremiah 23:5-6  (NKJV)
5 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord,
“That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness;
A King shall reign and prosper,
And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.
6 In His days Judah will be saved,
And Israel will dwell safely;
Now this is His name by which He will be called:THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS
.

These scriptures for example do not show the attributes of hasatan nor those he influenced.  We have to look beyond the surface and traditions to find, whether what we see in our churches or our practices match what Yahweh has given and expects us to do.  That includes who you serve/worship and the manner of worship.  This is the stripping down of the profane from the pure.  There was to be no mixing--could this be why?  When the error occurs and is not corrected but compounded it leads to more lies to shore up the previous lie--soon this house of cards is teetering and collapsing under the lack of structure that only the truth gives!  We cannot continue to dishonor Yahweh for the sake of traditions or familiarity!  This excessive exposure to sun god worship has rendered many of us sunburned.  With His understanding, knowledge and wisdom we can return to the truth!  Only He has the balm to cool our skin from the hot rays of lies that permeated our lives!   Review your life and worshiping practices, find what is out of order and re-align with the Way the Truth and the Life.  No longer uphold the confusing and horrible lie that has the patina of centuries of deceit clinging to it.  Old lies have no more actual power than the constant truth--if you hold to the truth it will certainly uphold you!  Isaiah 25:1 O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.  Got questions, send us an email: fiveamprayer@gmail.com or text at 720-432-0316  To hear this awesome teaching again click here.

This section of the scripture is called the the Akidah, the binding of Isaac and is associated with Rosh Hashanah the beginning of the new year according to the Yahweh's appointed times.  This is currently seen in the Jewish calendars since the rest of the world follows the Gregorian calendar.  Keep in mind that the days of the Lord God Almighty are His days for His people which includes all who with  the children of Israel who follow His practices and instruction.  The blowing of the shofar on the new year is also known as the Feast of Trumpets, when they are to be blown.  The shofar is made from the horn of an animal usually a ram to be blown to announce feast days, the charge into battle, to announce the new moon,  and in the loud blast heard in the falling of the walls of Jericho.  Why is this important?  The Greek mindset would miss this connection of the shofar from the ram that was caught in the thicket.  The shofar was to mark something of importance.  The beginning of the new year--Rosh Hashanah was on September 25, 2014 began the year 5775 and the next new year would be on September 14, 2015 beginning 5776.  The count of the years according to Yahweh's lunar calendar is the count of time from Adam and Eve until today.
The obedience of Abraham to take his only son of promise to the top of mount Moriah is showing us the foreshadow of the obedience of Yeshua who was obedient unto death.  There is confusion seen from the Greek mindset that Yahweh would not ask Abraham to sacrifice his child, for that was a pagan practice.  Reading the scripture shows that Isaac was to go up on the mountain with Abraham and that Yahweh would provide for Himself the sacrifice.  So why would he go up to offer a sacrifice and yet not take a animal sacrifice with him?  This was to be a test of obedience would Abraham be selfless with his only son of promise?  The elements of the Akidah are repeated in the sacrifice of Yeshua.  They both carried wood up the mountain.  They were both at Mt. Moriah which is the location of the temple mount in Jerusalem. Both Isaac and Yeshua were innocently bound to the wood for the sacrifice.  With the ram being caught in the thicket by it's horns relates to the crown of thorns that was placed on Yeshua's head.  Also the actual sacrifice was done with this same ram.  By Isaac being returned to Abraham is a picture of Yeshua being resurrected from His perfect sacrifice many years later.   Both are sons were promised by the word of Adonai, and found to be obedient in all of His word.  Are you trusting in Yahweh to provide in your obedience?  Fiveamprayer, will you do all He has given you to do?  Have questions on this teaching or would you like to contact us?  Fiveamprayer@gmail.com or text to 720.432.016  To hear more of this teaching click here.

Torah Portion Va'eira/And I Appeared--Exodus 6:2-9:36; Ezekiel 28:25-29:21; Acts 10-13

Exodus 6:2-9:36; Ezekiel 28:25-29:21; Acts 10-13; Genesis 15:2, 15:7, 15:13-15; Jeremiah 6:13-16, 23:7-8

We are walking in today:  Torah Portion Va'eira/And I Appeared--Exodus 6:2-9:36; Ezekiel 28:25-29:21; Acts 10-13

Witness the Lord appeared throughout the Bible:  H7200 ra'ah to see, look at, inspect, perceive, consider, have vision, regard, look after, see after, learn about, observe, watch, look upon, look out, find out
Genesis 12:17, 17:1, 18:1, 26:2, 26:24; Exodus 3:2, 16:10; Leviticus 9:23; Numbers 14:10, 16:19, 16:42, 20:6; Deuteronomy 31:15; Judges 13:3; 1 Samuel 3:21; 1 Kings 3:5, 9:2; 2 Chronicles 3:1, 7:12; Matthew 1:20

Fiveamprayer we have here Yahweh showing His awesome power against these false mighty ones.  This includes all of the pagan gods in Egypt that were worshiped by the people of the land and pharaoh as well.  Pharaoh is even said to be the one holding all the other pagan gods in check.  So as to remove all confusion, Yahweh is the only Mighty One!  He comes to restore His identity to the children of Israel.  They had been treated harshly by the Egyptians and His memory from there forefathers had begun to fade.  He wants His people to know that He is the Great I AM!  He reminds them of His memorial name, YHVH, Yahweh.  This re-introduction to the people of Israel and introduction in the land of Egypt, was also a show of His power.  I will be who I will be.  I will be whatever I need to be.  He alone is the Living God Almighty!  This is the name that He sends Moses in to deliver out the people of Israel.  We see in the plagues that appear in this portion, that the stage is set for the validity of His Godship over the non-living, no gods that were being revered in the land.  This display of His power was to show His ability to deliver them out, protect and provide for the children of Israel.  He is the only Mighty One and His coming according to all of His promise to Abraham.  It is his generations that Yahweh comes to deliver out and utterly cast down all the pagan gods in Egypt.  This was done to remove all doubt in who is true.  He shows Himself with the people then and us today--He is Yahweh and He is with us!  Leading us out of bondage and casting down all the no-gods that have been lifted up in error.  This exodus from Egypt was also told all over the world that it would be known that the Lord God of the Hebrews--He alone is God!
What is it that is going across the land?  False gods being lauded as having ability?  Magicians that come to do things in a trick to try to imitate the Original?  Yet we find in this portion there came a time that they could not duplicate, even on the smallest scale that they had previously.  This was to totally tear down what the people of Egypt thought of all of their pagan gods, to diminish pharaoh as a god here on the earth.  This was a shaking to wake them all up both Egyptians and the children of Israel.  Who is the Great I Am?  Yahweh is His name for memorial!  He is the only one who lives and created all things!  He is not able to be contained in the crafting made by human hands, for His hands crafted us!  Fiveamprayer, He comes to get us in right order to see and know Him truly.  Open your eyes and harden not your heart for He will appear!  To listen to this teaching again click here.

We are walking in today:  Testimony Tuesday--From Milk To Meat, Judge According to Yahweh's Standard--The Torah

Witness ruin throughout the Bible:  H4383 mikshowl  a stumbling, means or occasion of stumbling, stumbling block, fall
Ezekiel 21:15; Amos 9:11; Acts 15:16

Fiveamprayer we have to move on from the mere surface of scripture and understanding of His word!  There are many of us that have or had only the feel good messages from the pulpit that fed only our emotions and left our spiritual being malnourished.  This has reached epidemic numbers resulting in high dissatisfaction in the church and leading to other methods to sate the emaciated spiritual body of Christ.  In desperation anything that seems profitable spiritually is latched on to with no further investigation all the while a deeper study and proper understanding of the entirety of the Bible would yield bountiful nutrition and peace all stemming from His wealthy bounty.  Psalm 116:7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.  Do we have the discipline to read the whole Bible in a year, every year, over and over?  Will we place His words in their proper context or use what we can to frame our behaviors as a lesser charge or offense?  Is our study to defend ourselves or to grow closer to Him?  When do we study?  And when we do study, what is our purpose?  Understanding and obedience?   What was being dealt with in the wilderness with the children of Israel?  Are we experiencing those same things today, as so many continue in the wilderness--some even refusing to leave?  As with all levels of growth there comes a time that once the foundation is laid the next step is begun.  Why continue to relay the same foundation?  How many foundations are needed?  Is this a stalling technique to draw out the time?  There is an allowance for not knowing but avoiding readily available knowledge--is only to our detriment.  Why continue in struggles that are resolvable by better understanding of His instructions?  That we would move from what can I get from this situation to a closer relationship that can yield benefits as a secondary byproduct?  Unfortunately over the years we have come to seek out a reward for our actions alone, totally divorced from a relationship.  How awful would it be for married couples to only care for each other solely based on what they benefit from directly.  Would those empty gestures gain meaning without a true connection?  Who would want to be at the other end of that lifeless action of watching that person, only awaiting the benefit before heading on their way?
Without a deeper study and understanding of the Bible, the Davar Elohim, the word of God we are certainly missing out on many things that He has afforded for us.  One of which is to self correct by judging ourselves according to His standard.  This not something that is not far away--but what we are able to do with Christ Jesus the Anointed King, living on the inside of us!  This is no longer solely entrusted to us to complete.  He completed and walks out His principles, within us!  This is like knowing all the answers to the test because the answer key is on the inside of you.  We are to study to know for ourselves that we would make every effort to work with His faithfulness!  That is how we are to judge what is right and good, according to the instructions that He gave--the 613 in total on Mount Sinai.  This idea of the 11th commandment to not judge, is a man made thing.  There is the discussion in the Bible that we are not to judge by our own personal standards.  He set and is the standard!  Don't question or make up your own, it is all in His word that will not return void and will stand forever more!  Could it be that this idea of not judging in any form, a snare to keep all who seek other avenues and means to obtain illegally the blessings of Yahweh?  This leads us back to study of His word.  With a dedicated, Holy Spirit led study with like minded believers the answer will be come clear.  We are not permitted to do any and everything that our flesh desires to do and still call it blessed of God.  If that was the case there would not be any need for correction which was a primary function of the prophets in the Tanakh to tell the people where they were missing the mark according to the standard.  This was a plea to no longer dishonor nor shame the Most High by their actions and disregard for His word.  Would those same prophets have those same pleas if they entered your house of worship today?   To hear this awesome teaching again click here.

Have We Been Following After Baalim?

1 Kings 18; Numbers 25:3; Judges 8:33; 1 Corinthians 10:22; 2 Peter 2:21

We are walking in today:  Have We Been Following After Baalim?

Witness faith of Jesus Christ throughout the Bible:  the word faith in Hebrew is emunah which is an action word, obedience.  Yeshua came and walked on the earth in obedience to all of the Torah.  It is His faithfulness in which we rely.
Romans 3:22; Galatians 2:16, 2:22

Fiveamprayer we have to find who we have been following.  The children of Israel were following the pagan gods and in this chapter 1 Kings 18, Elijah as Yahweh directs shows himself to Ahab and that He will send the rain.  He is even accused as the one who his troubling Israel.  Take a look at your life are you being accused of causing trouble?  What is it that Yahweh has given you to do?  This is not the time to waiver!  When we know what it true we can really stand!  This is why study is so important!!  How else can you stand? Will you be like the Bereans study to see if what you are being taught it true?  Or have we determined to follow after baalim?  That which is an idol god or pagan god?  Then as Elijah set forth the challenge to find who is to be worshiped baal or Yahweh?  Here Elijah stands in the truth on the Davar Elohim against the 850 of the false prophets, to find who would an answer by fire.  The false prophets of baalim and ashereh made their request for hours even becoming desperate to cut on themselves to get a response.  Then at the time of the evening sacrifice, Elijah comes and prepares the altar, arranges the wood and places the sacrifice upon it.  He also dug a trough and had the water placed over it  three times.  When he prayed and called out to Yahweh, the Living God who answered by fire--consuming the water, the bullock, wood and stones in response.  This awesome response had the people fall on their faces in repentance before Him.
Fiveamprayer, we are to follow the Torah--this is the way we are to come before the righteous and holy Yahweh.  This also gives us how we are to approach each other which are made in His image.  If we are not obedient in the small things, how can we be trusted in the bigger assignments?  We are to be decided, not continually deciding!  We are not to waiver nor be in doubt--halt no more between two opinions!  Stand fast to what we have been given, the Torah.  We must totally set down our Greek mindset and return to the Hebraic mindset which authored the Bible and the audience they were seeking to reach.  This wavering can cost us our lives!  While still physically dead, but separated from Yahweh is certainly a level of death--spiritually.  We have to choose which we will serve life or death?  Who are we serving Yahweh or something else?  Fiveamprayer, let us not look back, Lot's wife looked back and became a pillar of salt.  We have to understand that the pagan gods have no answer for us, no matter how much we cry, jump and shout or even resort to cutting ourselves.  That which has no speech can not reply, that with no power can not cause action and that which has no substance can be revered!  We must cease from confusion--stand on the entirety of His word!
1 Corinthians 14:33  (CJB) 33 for God is not a God of unruliness but of shalom. As in all the congregations of God’s people,
Isaiah 55:11 (KJV) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

206. You shall not eat the flesh or touch the carcass of any unclean animal --Leviticus 11:8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.

Fiveamprayer most of us in this country have at least one Bible and possibly several in our homes.  Some of these books serve as mere decoration or family catalogs of births and deaths.  Can we study to find out the validity of His word for the benefit of ourselves, family and community?  The Bible that we have today was first translated into English in the later 1300's and then printed around a hundred years later--after all of these years do we really have an understanding of His word?  We are to prove all things!  This is very important that we would not take all things at face value.  Yahweh knows that His word stands up to all scrutiny and the Truth stands, always.  The testing and proving is for our surety to know that we are following what He directed from the beginning! Where does the authority of the Bible come from?  Is it really the inspired and authored word of Yahweh? Since we have not been required to test and prove this before.  We will soon have to prove this for ourselves in the face of growing deception.  That which is  pushing against us, how will we know that is the true and right way?  Where do we find the voice behind us telling us this is the way, walk in it?  Would Yahweh want us to take His word without proving it?  If we don't each prove His word for ourselves what prevents us from taking up another unproved word?  How steadfast can we be in an unproven word?  These questions are not to cast doubt on the the infallible word of Yahweh or His power, yet we have scriptures warning us of the attack there would be on His word.  What way can we determine if we have succumbed to this attack?  When there is a treasure or precious item under guard do they not use a password for access?  How much more value is their in the Davar Elohim, Word of God?  How woeful would we be to find that we have followed in error due to our lack or investigation for the validity of what we have been presented? Without this proving, what would keep us from upholding some other book?  He would want us to prove His word to make sure we have what He has given us, the true and acceptable word for our study and provision.  In our continued and whole-hearted study of His word to avoid man's assumptions--remember there was not a King James version of the Bible in print for Yeshua or His talmudim to teach new believers from.  Consider if the Word made flesh, Yeshua, would He endorse the Bible that you study from?  How can we return to the origin of the scriptures that came to be known as the Bible?  With the proper pretext and context does your Bible match up with the culture and understanding of Yeshua and the apostles of the first century church?  We are children of Yahweh and should be found taking after and resembling our Heavenly Father!  To listen to this teaching again click here. https://www.freeconferencecallhd.com/playback.html?n=RvxYy/jKHbE

Weekend Meditation Worksheet:  Prove All Things

Consider the teaching from today, January 9th, study to find these answers for the following questions.  Dial in again to listen to this teaching, 760-569-7699 pin 910150 it will be available all weekend.

1.  Which Bible should be used as the ultimate authority for modern Christianity?

2.  Do you believe that the Religious Belief System of every Christian should be as close as possible to the Religious Belief System of Yeshua the Messiah (commonly known as Jesus the Christ)?  Can you agree with that statement?

3.  Wouldn't it be absolutely insane for a Christian to have a Religious Belief System that was not only in opposition to, but also an insult to that which Yeshua/Jesus Christ believed and taught?

4.  Why did the writers of the Gospels decide to wait so many years to record the words of Yeshua?

5.  Were Yeshua's words not considered on the same level as the Hebrew Scriptures or Tanakh (commonly known as us as the Old Testament?  If His words had been, then why were they not recorded immediately by His followers?

6.  What did the new fledgling Messianic Communities use for their Bibles during this time period, when there was no Greek New Testament Bible?

7.  What Bible did the Apostles carry with them, as they went into "all the world" to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God?

8.  What and who determined the Standard?

9.  Which one does Yahweh stand behind?

10.  If Yahweh is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, why can't He keep things straight, or it maybe that these systems of belief cannot keep things straight?

11. Who gave the Roman Catholic Church the right to decide what books should be added to Yeshua's Bible?

12.  Did they benefit from making such changes to Yeshua's Bible?

13.   Who decided which books were to be added or deleted, and on what evidence?

14.   Was their Religious Belief System the same as Yeshua's, or was it adulterated and changed?

15.  Why was there a need for new books anyway, what was the purpose?

16.  Could Yeshua's disciples adequately preach "deliverance" using Yeshua's Bible?

17.  Why was it necessary to rename Yeshua's Bible the "Old" Bible? Why call the added books the "New" Bible?

18.  What was the rationale behind forming a new Canon under this "New" Bible?

19.  Ask yourself why there was a need for Marcion or the Roman Catholic Church to create a new Canon?

20.  Why didn't Yahweh protect the Canonization of His Word in the New Testament?

21.  What was the inspiration in selecting books, deleting books, and re-including books hundreds of years later?

22.  Doesn’t Yahweh know what He wants to do?

23.  What about the people who lived and died during these times? Are they "saved" even though they did not have a New Testament Bible?

24.  Were believers deprived of the Word of Yahweh by organized religion, or worse, given the word of men instead? Were believers lead astray in their worship of Yahweh as they followed a Canon given to them by Roman Catholic Theology which believed in purgatory, infant baptism for salvation, the mediatorship of the Virgin Mary, Mary as the mother of God, Papal infallibility and prayers to the dead?

25.  What happened to the religion Yahweh gave us, and revealed to us through Yeshua?

26.  How close to the "faith once given to the saints" is your religious belief?

27.  Whose Religious Belief System do we have today in our churches? "Israelism, Hebrew Roots" or "Non-Israelism"?

28.  Why does America today look like Sodom from scripture, yet there is a church on every corner and the message of the non-Israelite Church fills the airways and our television sets?

29.  There sure is a lot of Yahweh's so called "word" being broadcast, but is it really His Word?

30.  Maybe instead of it being Yahweh's Word as found in the Bible Yeshua used, can you see that it may instead be a collection of words that took 1000 years to be established by the Roman Catholic Church, and that was intended to function as a "replacement word" and "another Gospel" in order to nullify the Bible Yeshua used?

31.  Could this possibly be a contributing factor to the mess we finds ourselves in today?
