This morning, Fiveamprayer we look into one of the well known and often quoted prophets, Jeremiah. We have how he was called into his ministry. As with other books that begin with the year of the king's reign as the marking point of time. His name has the meaning whom Yahweh raises up, or launches forth. He was of a priestly family and would have studied in preparation of being a priest as he matured. He was called by Yahweh at the age of 21 and was a prophet that warned the king of Babylon would overtake the tribe of Judah. He also warns of another type of king of Babylon that will come at the end of days. The concern that Jeremiah has as we have all had--is one of not having enough experience for the task that He assigns us. With him being studied in the Davar Elohim, the word of God, since a child he would be able to rely on the Holy Spirit to bring to remembrance that which he had studied. Never make the mistake that those that are placed on assignment for Yahweh don't have to prepare or study! John 14:26 (NKJV) But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. What is it that Yeshua said to us in His teachings? Where did it originate? It is all in the word of God! That is why we must study, Fiveamprayer! 2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV) Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. As we proceed in this chapter we have where Jeremiah who was known by Yahweh before he was formed, to be a prophet--He is calling us out, all who heed His call to return to the ancient path. He is charged by the Most High to speak what He commands him to speak when Jeremiah brings up his age. This concern was stemmed in his lack of experience and authority that can come with age. This brings up a question--'are you speaking whatsoever Yahweh commands you to speak?' Even in the face of those who are more experienced and have more authority? This is not a excuse to treat others with disrespect, but you are to walk in your assignment with holy boldness and speak His words--not your opinion!! With Jeremiah being taught and having studied in preparation, Yahweh knew that His word was already in side of him. By study alone, the Davar Elohim was in Jeremiah's heart now with this touch, also in his mouth. This strengthens him to walk out this assignment and lets him know not to be fearful of anyone whether in experience or authority, for Yahweh is going with him and will deliver him. Remaining respectful in giving the message, Yahweh wants, allows the people to better be able to hear. Hold fast for He has seen the end from the very beginning! Do the best with what you have been equipped with! He does have His agents prepared by His standards for the task that He assigns! To listen to this teaching again click here.
