Fiveamprayer, we are talking about divorce today.  The terrible outcome of a marriage that is not upheld, honored nor given the proper respect.  Marriage is very important to Yahweh.  We have in our doubtful intellect sought better ways for marriage.  In the Hebraic culture in the previous centuries the marriage was arranged by the groom's father and the brides father.  There was an agreement of what was to be done for the bride and how the groom was to care for her.  Upon the agreement of all involved, the ketubah or marriage covenant was signed and was to be honored.   The children of Israel were the bride of Yahweh.  He vowed to take care of her to uphold and protect her.  The children of Israel also made a vow at Mount Sinai in their reply--Exodus 19:8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that the Lord hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LordYet over the years it became necessary for both the house of Judah and the house of Israel to be divorced by Yahweh.  But how did it come to this?  From agreement and walking together--to a divorce.  Let's look at the prophet Hosea who was directed to marry a harlot who continued to leave him to go back to her harlotry.  That she was even captured back into her previous whoredom--he had to buy her back.  We have in our innocence and misdirection have been in whoredom with pagan practices.  The 365 gods of the pantheon that we have called upon, given up worship to, money and family--to those that were crafted by the hands of men.  With the Greek mindset taking over the interpretation of scriptures, these gods were crafted by thought and philosophy, instead of craved idols but idols all the same.  All to our deficit, our harlotry has brought us to being spiritually and physically bankrupt.  Yahweh, gives His bill of divorcement, as His instructions require, to the house of Israel  and the house of Judah for the distinct reason of treason which is readily seen in the people going amongst the pagan gods and offering sacrifice, children and disorderly practices to that which is false.  Isaiah 54:5 (CJB) 5 For your husband is your Maker, Adonai-Tzva’ot is his name. The Holy One of Isra’el is your Redeemer. He will be called the God of all the earth.  As the husband of Israel He cares for them and has a plan to redeem them.  The appearance of Yahweh in the flesh as Yeshua, He is redeeming His wayward bride, in Hebraic culture only a groom that died for the sins of His bride and raised back to life could take her back.  In the marriage the one who transgressed the covenant was to die, but only Yeshua could raise Himself back to life to remarry His bride.  Jeremiah 3:8 CJB I saw that even though backsliding Isra’el had committed adultery, so that I had sent her away and given her a divorce document, unfaithful Y’hudah her sister was not moved to fear — instead she too went and prostituted herself.  Take time out this weekend and look up these scriptures and ask the Holy Spirit to give you understanding that you would return to your bridegroom, Yeshua.  He offered Himself to be able to re-marry His harlot bride, you.  Won't you return to His original intent that we find in the very beginning.  To hear this weekend meditation again click here.

Torah Portion--Tetzaveh/You Shall Command, Exodus 27:30-30:10; 1 Samuel 15:2-34; Romans 9-12

Exodus 27:30-30:10; 1 Samuel 15:2-34; Romans 9-12

We are walking in today:  Torah Portion--Tetzaveh/You Shall Command, Exodus 27:30-30:10; 1 Samuel 15:2-34; Romans 9-12

Witness holy spirit throughout the Bible:  H6944 qodesh apartness, holiness, sacredness, separateness, holiness of Yahweh, of places, of things, set-apartness, separateness

Isaiah 63:10-11; Psalm 51:11; Luke 11:13; Ephesians 1:13, 4:30; 1 Thessalonians 4:8

This portion goes over the importance of the menorah.  The 7 stick candelabra that was in the inner court which was to have the oil in it consistently that the lights therein would never go out.  As we have studied the tabernacle, the outer court, inner court and the holy of holies we notice that there is a lot to detail and direction given.  How could we think that we could do anything and it would be accepted by Yahweh?  He did not want us to guess or try to figure it out.  We would certainly miss it, haven't we?  Can we find where our practices line up with His instructions fully?  Yet we have so many songs and phrases about light.   Walk in the light, a song that many of us know.  When we get understanding the light comes on and many other sayings.  Could this be our spirit-man telling us about the Torah, the light unto our path and lamp unto our feet?  That we are to return to that which gives light, that also gives us life?  As we read this weeks portion let us consider how much we have strayed from His instruction and return to the beginning, where it all began.  To hear this teaching again click here.

5 Smooth Stones, Genesis 24, The Importance Of Marriage

Genesis 24

We are walking in today:  5 Smooth Stones, Genesis 24, The Importance Of Marriage

Witness honeycomb throughout the Bible:  ya`arah  honeycomb, forest  1 Samuel 14:25-27; Psalm 19:10-12; Proverbs 18:24, 24:13, 27:7; Song of Solomon 5:1

In this study of chapter 24 of Genesis we have Eliezer, Abraham's servant going to get a bride for Issac from Abraham's people.  The marriage is of great import to Abraham, for the blessing that Yahweh placed on him and his generations would continue though his son of the covenant.  He was to bring back a bride and not allow Isaac to go and live back in Canaan.  Thus the bride would be crossing over to marry Isaac and dwell with him.  The chapter continues on to the meeting of Eliazer with Rebekah.  The servant of Abraham is a type and shadow of the Holy Spirit going to obtain a bride which is a type and shadow of us in the nations.  Bringing the bride, to to her bridegroom, a type and shadow of Yeshua.  This preparation and explaining of the customs of Abraham and how Rebekah's life would go since she was leaving to enter into marriage.  The covenant of marriage is very important to Yahweh.  We have in our current culture, has come to mean various things to many people.   Which goes to show us how much we have altered our course from His original intentions for our lives.  The same sex marriages, the multiple partners in marriage and all the things that we have directing us in His word not to do, we have done.  Thank You Yahweh for teaching us what we are doing wrong.   How we have been off course and with His teachings He comes to return us from our misdirection.  To listen to this teaching click here.

Where Did We Get Fouled Up?

Proverbs 4:7; John 17:21; Hebrews 11

We are walking today:  Where Did We Get Fouled Up?

Witness foul throughout the Bible:  H2560 chamar to boil, foam, foam up, ferment, to be troubled, be in turmoil, to be reddened, to daub, seal up, cover or smear with asphalt
Isaiah 19:6; Ezekiel 32:3, 34:18-19; Job 16:16; Matthew 16:3; Mark 9:25; James 3:16; Revelation 18:2

We have to really take a look at where we are and where we should be.  Not according to our neighbors.  Not according to those we attend services with.  Not according to those who you went to high school with.  But according to He who put all things in motion.  He is our source, our Abba.  Our Almighty One, our buckler and shield as David wrote the psalm of Him.  Who, at His word, the world began and was reordered according to His purpose.  Yahweh, that is who we must live our lives according to.  The idea that this is a Jewish thing alone shows how small your view of Yahweh is.  He is, and was and is to come.   The Great I AM that I AM--He is the God of the Hebrews!  For all, who like Abraham, have crossed over into living a life according to Yahweh's direction, not the pagan customs and practices that surround you.  The faith we are to have is in Him and that because of our love for Him we would be in obedience to His directions for our life.  They are our provision, life, peace, loving marriages, and well mannered children.  This is the prosperity of our lives that does not stop at the financial arena but goes on to every relationship and that we have even to the well being in our very cells of our bodies.  A great peace is found in our complete trust in Him.  And in His great mercy and grace--affords us another chance to get it right as we seek to study and follow Him with our whole heart, we find that every thing else falls into place.  That is the it that is missing... faith, an action word that we have forced to lie dormant due to our disobedience and idea that we had found a better way--a way that is not what was modeled for us when Yeshua walked the Earth.  John 14:6 Yeshua said, “I AM the Way — and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through me.  He is the door that leads to life, cross the threshold and enter in to His plans for your life.  There is so much more available to you in the house than on the door step.  Press in and seek His face!  To listen to this teaching again click here.

Starting Point For Interpreting Scripture

John 5:31; 2 Timothy 2:15, 1:23-26; Matthew 5:17-19, 5:27-28; Leviticus 17:26, 18:21-23; Jeremiah 2:20

We are walking in today:  Starting Point For Interpreting Scripture

Witness blood and covenant throughout the Bible:  H1818 dam blood or figuratively wine. H1285 bĕriyth alliance, pledge, constitution, agreement, pledge between Yahweh and men
Exodus 24:8; Ezekiel 44:7; Hebrews 9:18-20, 10:29, 12:24

In the process of studying of the Bible we have to consider and remember to keep the scripture in its context and setting.  If we take the scripture out of its setting reading without the full understanding--choosing to find meaning for us in our current day and age we, will miss the point.  The pagan practices of worship to idols and pagan gods were done for the fertility of children, livestock and crops.  This was a reliance in other ways for life.  This is why Yahweh is against these practices for trust in anyone other than Him.  He created and designates the times and seasons.  Certainly these same sex, sex with animals and temple prostitution are also found with the pagan practices for the purpose of producing more children.  Yet we have over the years lost the primary purpose for these acts yet they are still practiced.  Does that change the original purpose that was sought in the beginning?  Are the warnings and instructions made invalid for the many passing of years?  Who is really in control over production of offspring?  When we take the reigns from Yahweh, or so we think--are we overstepping our position?  To hear this teaching again click here.

You may eat your redeemed animal offerings --Deuteronomy 12:15 Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart. 263. You may eat from your cattle and flocks --Deuteronomy 12:21 If the place which the Lord thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the Lord hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after. 264. You may eat every clean bird --Deuteronomy 14:11 Of all clean birds ye shall eat. 270. You shall not eat any flying swarming creature --Deuteronomy 14:19 And every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten.

Fiveamprayer, we have in our study today the warnings that we have throughout the Brit Chadasha or the New Testament that many will come in the name of Jesus, claiming to be the Christ.  We have to study to know what is true as scripture tells us that the truth will make us free and what is truth--Yeshua's word is truth.  For the misinformation that we have had handed down over the years from the early church fathers that greatly differs from what was originally received by Abraham, the first Hebrew.  The instructions from Yahweh of how to live in order and as well as His people.  The fishermen that Jeremiah speaks of as well as Yeshua ascribes to the disciples when He tells them to follow Him--they teach the good and right way to the people.  For many are looking to find the correct way to go.  Over the years we have been given much direction that can lead to much confusion.  Those who will seek with their whole heart will find Him.  It is His Spirit that draws us to a closer study and finding Him in His fullness.
The spirit of the hunt is sent out to reveal those that are dealing in falsehoods and fables.  They are not to be trusted for their purposes while varied all lead to away from the truth--the glory of mere men over Yahweh.  Their supposed powers wielded at their whims and sole authority alone.  These deceived persons began their deceit with their first customer, themselves and then convince many others to this erroneous path.   We cannot suspend our instructions from the Bible for the dazzling wonders shown before us.  Will we be misled by what we see when we have firm scripture to stand on, solely?  This study contains many scriptures, take time out today to review and study for yourself to find, as the Bereans did to find if what you are being taught is true according to scripture.  To hear this again click here.

Fiveamprayer, Yahweh desires to dwell among His people.  Moses received  the plan for the tabernacle, while he was on mount Sinai.  This is where He shows the house to the house.  The children of Israel were to bring offerings willingly for the construction of the tabernacle--these are to be their contributions or portion according to their hearts.  This chapter in Exodus gives the various items to be brought for the offering and the construction of the tabernacle.
We have to understand where did they get this offering from?  When they left out of Egypt, they were to ask for gold, silver and various valuable items.  Due to the favor that Yahweh gave the people, the Egyptians gave them a overflow and excess of goods.  We too must remember and recall that all that we have is by His hand and freely we are to give.  Give how much?  We are to give in offerings according to our hearts.
These elements of goods taken from Egypt were not for the mere collection of treasures but to be used in the place of dwelling of Yahweh.  He is taking the common and simple and elevating them to His higher purpose.  The construction of the tabernacle of Yahweh--the connection of offerings and our hearts.  What is our true motive?  Whether we give much or little--what is in our hearts?  To hear more on this portion click here.

We are walking in today:  5 Smooth Stones--Leviticus 18, Do Only What Yahweh Directs!

Witness ark of the covenant throughout the Bible:  H727 'arown chest, ark, money chest,
Ark of the Covenant.  H1285 bĕriyth covenant, alliance, pledge between men, treaty, alliance, league (man to man)
Numbers 10:33, 14:44; Deuteronomy 10:8, 31:9, 31:26; Joshua 3:6, 3:8, 3:14-17, 4:9, 6:6, 6:8; Judges 20:27; 1 Samuel 4:3; 1 Kings 3:15, 6:19, 8:1; 1 Chronicles 15:29, 16:37, 22:19; Jeremiah 3:16; Hebrews 9:4

The book of Leviticus is linked with the book of Exodus; this book is a continuation of thought.  Moses the author, intended for the people to read these two books together.  In chapter 18 we have instruction and warnings for the children of Israel for the land that they are being given, the promised land.  These warnings are so that they are not vomited out of the land like the present people who had abominable practices and caused the land to be defiled.
The translation from Hebrew to Greek has unfortunately given the appearance in the New Testament or the Brit Chadasha that only here, grace is being shown by Almighty God, through Yeshua.  However the term meaning grace and mercy--chesed appears in the Tanakh or Old Testament.  This word is first found in Genesis with Noah, then again with Moses when Yahweh places him in the rock as He passes by.  We have to understand that if there was no instruction for the people to know in the first portion of the Bible, how could  they were upheld to keep that which they did not know?  Would this reflect His grace and mercy, that appears before the instructions were given?  Upon closer study, the people in the Bible, before the giving of the Torah at mount Sinai were walking in order--how could they know if the instruction was not given yet?  Those who Yahweh spoke to were directed by Him.  We have to understand that moral laws are still in effect for they are based on His character!  Those that knew Him and His character were taught about the orderly way that He desires us to live.  For that is the best for us.  The study of His principles shows that when followed we have peace, healthy lives, children and marriages.  Because of the skewed view of grace so many of the practices that the pagan people did that caused the land to be defiled are now commonplace.  This grave error places us in great danger if not ceased.  The people that lived in the land before the children of Israel, were dispelled due to these practices that are abominable--that is the following: detestable thing or idol, an unclean thing, an abomination, detestation.  One of the reasons why this was not to be done besides that it has been instructed by Yahweh--is that He is holy and the children of Israel were to be holy as well.  Leviticus 11:45 For I am the Lord who brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.  This understanding leads us back to the moral law of Yahweh, which is based on His character and is still in effect!  To listen to this teaching again click here.

"Lech Acharai, Come follow me," says Yeshua

Matthew 11:25-29; 28:19; Psalm 119:103; Mark 2:46; Matthew 26:25, 29; Mark 9:5, 11:21, 14:45; John 1:38, 49, 3:2, 26, 4:31, 6:25, 9:2, 11:8; Matthew 11:28, 4:19-22, 16:13-20, 5:17-19

We are walking in today:  "Lech Acharai, Come follow me," says Yeshua

Witness root throughout the Bible:  H8328 sheresh root food and water supply to plants or trees; regarding people, involving firmness or permanence
Isaiah 11:1; Jeremiah 17:8; Ezekiel 17:6-7, 17:9; Hosea 14:5; Amos 2:9; 1 Chronicles 7:20; Daniel 4:15, 4:23, 4:26, 11:7; Mark 11:20; Jude 1:12

What does this term 'come follow me' mean?  To grasp this concept fully we have to go back to the beginning to find the culture and setting when it was used to find our all that is entailed in this phrase.  The education of the Jewish children began at the age of 6 on through 10.  They were taught the Torah--Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.  With this study these books that were memorized in the first level of education the house of the Book, or beit sefer.  This was the general assembly.  Once this study was completed the boys who were the best of the best would go on to the next level beit talmud the house of learning.  Here the talmidim would be aged from 10-14.  They would study the rest of the Hebrew scriptures and the art of answering questions with a question.  This skill is not just a question for the sake of a question.  But the question would contain the answer as well as show understanding of the scriptures.  This is a departure for how education of children is done here, in a western mindset.  Instead of having a list of facts memorized it was the process of arriving at the answer in various ways.  For example if the question is what is 2 x 2?  The talmidim in the beit talmud may say what is the square root of 16?  In both cases the answer is 4.  In the beit talmud the expectation was in the student coming to understand and even return that question with his own.  Once this study was completed then the best of the best would go on to the next level--beit midrash the talmidim is about 13 to 14 years of age would go to present themselves to a rabbi to request if they could follow them.  They would come up under his yolk--his ways of interpreting the Torah.  If the talmidim was suitable and worthy to be selected, they were permitted to leave home and occupation to follow this rabbi.  This was a great honor to the talmidim and his family.  The goal of the studying throughout all of their education.  This would be similar to us now a days when a young man is drafted into professional sports straight from high school for the hours of practice and focus on this physical ability.  The parents swell with pride and are so proud at his accomplishment.  To those who Yeshua says come follow me have a great appreciation for their desire being answered.  They were found at the boats and preparing the fishing nets for they were fishermen.  They had completed their study and presented themselves to a rabbi but did not make the cut.  This would be devastating for that was their focus and goal for all of their youth.  Even in trying to come to terms with this outcome, they go into the family business.  Yet the desire is still there.  How can we tell when Yeshua tells them to come, Matthew 4:18-22 (NKJV) 18 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” 20 They immediately left their nets and followed Him. 21 Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them, 22 and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.  They got up immediately and followed Him.  Leaving their nets and their father in the boat to run as His offer.  With this understanding that the goal of all young men is to be able to follow after a rabbi.  To learn how he would interpret the Torah.  Doing all that they seen him do that they would follow him that closely.  All of their study and preparation was for this and for those that Yeshua called were all to ready to go and follow Him!    To listen to this teaching again click here.

At the time of Yeshua, the town of Galilee was known to have a strong and passionate study of the Torah and other texts.  They were known to be faithful and lived their lives according to Yahweh's instruction.  Their isolation from other influences helped in their resistance of Hellenism more than Judea and other towns that were along the trade routes.  This is where Yeshua was raised and drew His disciples, talmidim from.  These people in this area memorized the scriptures and other texts to discuss and debate.  Those who were studying with the traveling rabbis, to see if they would be able to follow that rabbi in further study and discussion.  The mindset of the student is to study to pass the class where the mindset of the talmidim is to learn and eventually pass on their knowledge and wisdom.  We must continue to shift from our Greek mindset to a Hebraic mindset to obtain the proper understanding of scripture.  The setting, the culture, the influences on the people gives us a better understanding of how the scriptures speak to the audience of the people of that time and even us now.    We have in this pattern that Yeshua walked out while on this earth that we would study and follow, that we too would eventually teach others.  Much like a child following their father and doing all that he does we have the same with the talmidim, they too do all that their rabbi does.  When we truly see that Yeshua is a rabbi and the disciples His talmidim we are approaching the correct understanding.  This is the importance of returning to the beginning, go back to the original, Fiveamprayer.  The original language is Hebrew that the scriptures were written in and placing the text back in it's original culture then we can extract understanding and find more insight on the author's who penned these words and better yet the Spirit behind it all--Yahweh!  That is how we will find our personal relationship with the Most High One!  Reduce and limit the distance between you and understanding scripture--set down assumptions, turn a loose previous knowledge--look to the scripture with fresh insight and His understanding!  We have learned much and many of the teachings were lacking the original intent or foundation from the beginning of the Bible.  The teachings that we study in the latter half of the Bible are based in the first half.  The disciples as well as Yeshua did not have the New Testament scriptures to teach from as we do now, they were not yet written.  So what is being referred back to?  What would be their reference?  Scriptures from the Tanakh, the Torah, the writings and the prophets!  We can not go forward without understanding, but where we begin--at the beginning!  To listen to this teaching again click here.

257. Anything within the dwelling of a corpse shall be contaminated for seven days --Numbers 19:14 This is the law, when a man dieth in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.
258. You shall purify one who touches a dead body with the water of sprinkling --Numbers 19:13, 21 13 Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him. 21 And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.
259. You shall not test the Lord your God --Deuteronomy 6:16 Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.
260. You shall not intermarry with the seven Canaanite nations --Deuteronomy 7:3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

This is a story that many have seen or witnessed.  Yet how can this be?  That faithful, patient husband who goes after his wayward wife.  She is so out of control that those on the outside of the relationship, would have walked away a long time ago.  This husband has perfect, unfailing love--still reaching out in grace and mercy.  All this to cause her to return to him.  He tells her of how she is living her life and in his love for her, pleads for her to return.  So that his heart would no longer be broken by who he loves and how she treats him with disregard.  Got the picture yet?  This chapter of Hosea 7 gives us a picture of Yahweh with His people, Ephraim.  The land of Israel was divided into the northern and southern tribes.  The largest group in the northern tribes is Ephraim.  Almighty Yahweh is watching the actions of His people, that are leading them into further destruction.  His loving pleas to return to Him and put down the pagan and flesh-filled desires.  Return, return to His grace and mercy, He hand reaches out still.  Fiveamprayer, have we too become distant as the children of Israel had in walking in ways contrary to His teaching and instruction?  Will we turn out backs on all of His truth? Being a cake unturned comes from an improperly heated oven and the dough mixed improperly.  This faulty process yields the same, a faulty cake.  A piece of bread that is burned on one side and the other side is sticky, gooey and raw.  This is not a acceptable finished product.  Yahweh is seeking to correct and draw Ephraim back that they would be productive and suitable for His purpose. The people that Hosea spoke to, like so many of us now--have our hands in many jars.  They were not seeking to return to the truth.  How can one be healed if they are not aware that they are sick?  Will those who perceive they are healthy seek a doctor?  Yahweh comes to correct, direct, heal and restore, but will you allow Him?  Is this a only situation we can handle?  Well how well are we really doing--handling this our own way?  Return, return to truth and correction.  We cannot think we are skilled in His righteous ways without His teaching us the right ways!  To hear this again click here.

Torah Portion-Mishpatim/Ordinances Exodus 21:1-24:18, 1 Kings 12:1-17, Romans 1-4

Exodus 21:1-24:18, 1 Kings 12:1-17, Romans 1-4; Exodus 20:15; Deuteronomy 6:4; Romans 1:1

We are walking in today:  Torah Portion-Mishpatim/Ordinances Exodus 21:1-24:18, 1 Kings 12:1-17, Romans 1-4

Witness ruling throughout the Bible:  H4910 mashal to rule, have dominion, reign
2 Samuel 23:3; Jeremiah 22:30; 1 Timothy 3:12

This portion gives the children of Israel and those traveling with them, the commandments of Yahweh.  He is a holy God and they are to be holy.  We wouldn't know the way to approach Yahweh the King of the Universe without His instruction!  This gives us how we are to treat each other in marriage, with children, neighbors, murders, thieves--these are regulations for the community to operate in His presence.  We were able to study on yesterday the elements of the tabernacle, where His presence resides.  The people were not to do things against the Most Holy One, Yahweh!  He even gives the means to restore the holy status in His directions.
These mishpatim are tied to rulings of a Ruler--the words of the King.  These words, the law of the land is what He speaks, is upheld throughout His kingdom.  For it is in His hands alone to decree and set forth the good and right way.
The various translations of this portion often contains the word now, which would appear as if everything previous was over.  The original language, Hebrew has what equates to the word and, this is an continuation of His plan.  He stands by all of His word.  It is upheld from the beginning to the end.  There is not point of casting off or changing His word, remember He is a King and all the King speaks stands! We are walking in today:  5 Smooth Stones Exodus 26, This Is The Plan For The House

Witness frame throughout the Bible:  H3559 kuwn to be firm, be stable, be established, to be set up, be established, be fixed, to be firmly established,to be established, be stable, be secure, be enduring
Judges 12:16; Jeremiah 18:11; Ezekiel 40:2; Hosea 5:4; Psalm 103:14

Fiveamprayer, we are His temple, this Paul teaches us in 1 Corinthians 3:16-17.  Let's take a look at the original, that we are to be pattered after.   Paul writes in Hebrews 8:5 which is referring back to Exodus 25:40 And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.  This is not some great idea of a man, this is direction from on high!  In our return to reading and studying the first books of the Bible, we find that so many details are given that had been overlooked or disregarded.   They were given by Yahweh to His people--His direction and detail shows His awesome power and vision!  Not even the smallest detail is overlooked by our Creator, King of the Universe!  So we have to understand that there is not anything that He is unaware of or doesn't have a purpose for!  The questions is will we be obedient in the small things?  Do we trust and rely in His word, just because of who He is knowing that He is well able to bring all of of His word to pass?  When we only have a relationship with His word and not with His person we are seeing the whole picture?  Can the word be more important that He who spoke it?  How do we know that these are His words if we do not know His character?  It is like hearing something someone else has said and it does not match your image of the person, that you thought that they were.  This return to the beginning of the Bible gives us Yahweh's characteristics that we would know when His word is going forth and allows for us to trust and stand on His word with the knowledge of who is backing it up.  The details that He gives in His directions allows us to know that the small and tiny things matter also.  Will we be diligent to pursue the things that He assigns for us to do?  In His all seeing power, Yahweh has a purpose for everything. The details that we see in the tabernacle or mishkan are full of meaning and even foreshadow future events.  In our taking on a Hebraic mindset and casting off our intellect we find that He is true and never can lie.
The children of Israel dwelled in tents and Yahweh, dwelled among them in a tent also, the tabernacle.  They were not yet in the promised land and needing living space that could be taken up and moved.  The tabernacle was the same.  This residing of Yahweh with His people required instruction of being holy and how to prepare where He would reside.  The word frame as our word from the witnesses this morning is awesome to note that it was wood that was overlayed with gold to hold up the curtain and the tent hangings.  We too are to be overlayed with Christ and uphold His glory, following His direction.  Are you, Fiveamprayer stable, direct and afixed in His word and character? Yahweh Desires You, But Do You Desire Him?

Jeremiah 31; John 1:12, 17:2; Malachi 4:6; John 6; Matthew 11:12; Revelation 4, 12; John 14:12-14, Romans 8:18; Deuteronomy 32

We are walking in today:  Yahweh Desires You, But Do You Desire Him?

Witness storm throughout the Bible:  H5492 cuwphah storm, wind, honeycomb overflow
Isaiah 4:6, 25:4, 28:2, 29:6; Ezekiel 38:9; Psalm 55:8, 83:15, 107:29; Nahum 1:3; Mark 4:37; Luke 8:23

We find in Jeremiah that the covenant that Yahweh had with His people had to be renewed.  He was marrying them at Mt. Sinai and the people were not honoring and keeping the covenant that He made with them and those who left Egypt.  Over the years and through the bloodlines that would include us.  The renewed covenant we find in Jeremiah 31:31-33 31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.  We have to pay attention to why it is a renewed covenant, due to the covenant being broken.  This renewal also places His Torah in our hearts and minds.  That He would be our Yahweh and we would be His people.  Do we truly desire Him as He desires us?  Do we spend time in His word to see what He has to say to us?  Will we get still before Him and share our thoughts or day with Him?  Do we only study scripture for the sake of being able to recall scripture before others or to find out more about the Author and Finisher of our faith?  When we read a really good book, don't we often inquire about the author?  Looking for more details on their life and their characteristics?  Why don't we do the same with Almighty God?  Lord God, King of the Universe, the Creator of all things, who desires a relationship with each of us.  The study of Davar Elohim, the word of God is for our relationship and hearing what the Ruach HaKadesh has to tell us.  We must be in pursuit of that which we desire and find our delight in.  Only then can we ask and receive due to our delight in walking in His footsteps, to match our lifestyle with His!  That is Yeshua walking before us, but are we going to continue in His way?  We should not have a surface relationship with Yahweh, not a mere passing glance but a focused stare, gazing intently at that which is precious!  To hear more of this teaching click here.

Exodus 35:3; Isaiah 9:18, 10:16, 30:33, 43:2, 50:11, Jeremiah 7:18, 17:27, 21:14, 43:12, 48:27; Ezekiel 20:47, 24:18; Obediah 1:18; Proverbs 26:21

Fiveamprayer we are to be taught by Yahweh!  The Shema, from Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear O Israel, the Lord Yahweh, Yahweh is One--takes us into action, to hear and to do.  There is action that we are to have in our obedience to His word.  This study of scripture must not take the place of our relationship with Yahweh.  This is the charge that Yeshua has against some of the Jewish religious leaders of that time that they knew scriptures backwards and forward yet they did not know Him.  Yet the scriptures tell of His coming and how and what He would do.  The scripture gives us more detail of our Messiah, that we would come to know Him better and not be misled to follow anyone else.  Returning to a Hebraic mindset of reading and understanding scripture we are better able to find the truth and walk according to His way.  With only a Greek mindset we find our own way or for those that only study His word without developing a relationship with Him in prayer and being still to hear what the Holy Spirit directs them to do, confirmed by scripture.  This incorrect interpretation of scripture has led to these varied denominations in Christianity that can have only a few differences and yet only seeking to satisfy the disputes of men instead of upholding, seeking a relationship Him to determine the correct understanding of His word.  Can the student make the lesson plan for the teacher?  Does the teacher already know what they will teach before standing before the class?  We are to study to do.  This is not a study without a purpose or just for the sake of collecting knowledge but to know Him better!  Do those that you care for become a study of what they like and their characteristics of how they would react in various situations?  Why would we think that we could leave our time with Yeshua in the word alone but continue on in conversations throughout the day.  In prayers, thanksgiving and gratitude from what has been studied has been internalized and actualized in our actions from His instruction!  Click here to listen again.

247. The Nazir shall not drink vinegar of wine nor aged wine --Numbers 6:3 He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.

As we return to our Hebraic roots and find the intended meaning and purpose of scripture, we have a cry in our hearts.  How did we get so far off track?  How did we come to disregard the instructions of Elohim, Yahweh found in His word?  Fiveamprayer how did we get so misdirected by this world?  Much like when we are driving on a road trip and we are in an unfamiliar area and we get turned around.  What do we do when we have no way to orient our direction?  For those who live in Denver Colorado we know that the mountains are west and from there determine our direction that we should go.  We have the same land marks throughout scripture.  As with most things of great import, it all starts at the beginning.  But what happens when we throw out the beginning and start at the middle and then go to the end?  This is the case with the Greek view of the New Testament or rather the Renewed Covenant.  The term in itself gives rise to the idea that the previous portion of the Bible is the 'old' and fallen out of disuse for now the 'new' is here.  Is this really the case?  Throughout the Renewed Covenant we have Yeshua, Paul and others quoting text from the 'old' found in the Tanakh.  If new is new, should there be any previous reference to this 'new' information?  What is is purposed that the disciples, Paul and Yeshua were studying before teaching others?  Can it be possible that they would teach first and then years later even after death, they would have their teaching written down and returned to them to teach from the future? Certainly not!  The davar Elohim, the word of God stands forever and is not reversed, ever!  What the children of Israel received from Yahweh on Mt. Sinai is His instructions to walk holy and righteous before Him.  The Torah.  He made a covenant with them on and cared for them dearly.  The teachings found in the Torah is so that they people would be holy for He is holy.  Leviticus 11:45 For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.  Would He want His people to walk before Him a righteous and holy God, any other way?  Where would the people come to know the way to live?  He had to teach it to them!  Due to the misunderstanding, misinterpretation and misdirection of Paul's teachings we have in our current day been subjected to upholding only select portions of the 'old' and only study the 'new'.  Yet the whole Bible was given to us for the direction of our lives!  2 Timothy 3:16  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.  The initial instructions and then the settings where they were either applied or disregarded, we find the consequences or blessing relating to the people's actions.  From the public speakings of Yeshua, He had ample time to tell every one that the Torah was done away with, but upon closer review we find that repeatedly He says, 'if you love Me you will keep my commandments.'   His teaching on the greatest commandment, that those who disregard the commandments will be considered least in the kingdom of Yahweh.   No where can we find a statement, I, Yeshua the Son of Man, the Word made flesh, disregard, cast off and no longer uphold My word, Myself, that is over.  But with the Greek mindset that is exactly what is believed, taught and rehearsed.  Ok, Fiveamprayer, now is time for a course correction that we would actually arrive at our destination instead of continuing going around and around in circles in confusion and frustration!  1 Corinthians 14:40 (KJV) Let all things be done decently and in order.  Where would we find what is decent and in order?  In our actions and confession that the blood covers all, yet we keep running to the altar every week?  Certainly not!  Is is the lawless, choose your own way for the blood covers all Greek mindset approach, that has gotten us so off course!  Nor does that sound like decent or orderly behavior!  Remember that those who are lawless are those who do not want to up hold His teaching and instruction.  The actions directed by Yahweh are fruitful in producing good fruit.  However, it is these lawless actions that are upheld in the world, no matter how much we want to be free, the absence of direction and instructions only leads to the bondage of sin.  For a person who traveled from another country but was not familiar with our traffic laws, would still need to follow them or they can be stopped by the police, for not stopping at a red light.  In getting caught not following the traffic laws that all have been taught, they would receive a ticket.  This practice is not just to help the person learn it is also for the safety of others.  In the hopes that there is not a next time, which could result in bodily damage or even death.  The seriousness of these instructions is to give us a long and successful life!  That those who are disobeying His directions can lead to reduced success by Yahweh's measure and shortened life.  As our mothers would have us eat our vegetables as children, because we did not understand the benefits of a healthy diet while our bodies were still developing; which gives us a better foundation than being malnourished and having health problems in our later years.  So this false idea of freedom outside of direction or the Torah is just that, false!  The truth is now encircling the Earth and casting aside all of the layers of lies that have been set upon us and our previous generations!  Now is the time that those lies that were so delicately crafted in antiquity, be demolished in the light of His awesome truth that will shake and tremble until only the pure and true stands steady and everlasting.  To listen to this awesome teaching again click here.

5 Smooth Stones, Genesis 23 The Greatness Of Sarah

Genesis 23

We are walking in today: 5 Smooth Stones, Genesis 23 The Greatness Of Sarah

Witness choose throughout the Bible:  H977 bachar to elect, decide for, appointed, acceptable
Exodus 17:9; Numbers 16:7, 17:5; Deuteronomy 12:5, 12:11, 12:14, 12:18, 12:26, 30:19; Joshua 24:15; 1 Kings 18:25; Isaiah 7:15-16, 14:1; Zechariah 2:12; 1 Chronicles 21:12; Job 34:4; Psalm 25:12, 47:4; Proverbs 1:29, 3:31

This chapter opens up with the death of Sarah.  In the Hebrew culture, the emphasis is placed on the life lived and so the death is marked instead of the birth.  Sarah is the mother of Issac and the wife of Abraham.  She was with him when He crossed over.  As her husbands name was changed by Yahweh so was hers from Sarai to Sarah.  She was made princess, a mother of nations, and kings came forth from her.  Her great beauty was well known, and was the reason why Abraham told the foreign kings that she was his sister and not his wife.  He did this knowing that they would be enthralled by her beauty.  Even in her advanced years, her beauty did not wane.  Due to people gazing at her because of this beauty, Yahweh placed a spirit of humility on her that she did remain with Abraham and was not enticed away by the foreign kings.  She was the mother of the children of Israel as Abraham is the father.  She is said to have a sense of humor and that is reflected in her only son's name Issac, laughter.  She is noted as remaining on the path where her husband trod, not veering to her own path.  We must hold fast to the promises and be in the position that Yahweh has placed us.  The more we find the truth we must walk in it, as our very own Mama Sarah who came in to her Hebraic roots later in life will not turn around!  She is steadfast and learning and teaching His good and right way, walking in the commandments of Yahweh!  He also can do this when we have a willing heart and obedient feet.  Blessings are chasing us down in our obedience as we choose to serve, listen and obey Yahweh!   To listen to more of this again click here.

Torah Portion--Yitro/Jethro Exodus 18:1-20:23, Isaiah 6:1-13; Acts 24-28

Exodus 18:1-20:23, Isaiah 6:1-13; Acts 24-28; Proverbs 11:13;Numbers 12:3; Luke 2:46

We are walking in today:  Torah Portion--Yitro/Jethro Exodus 18:1-20:23, Isaiah 6:1-13; Acts 24-28

Witness limited  throughout the Bible:  H8428 tavah to pain, wound, trouble, cause pain.  Root word H8427 to scrabble, to set a mark, limit
Psalm 78:41

Our portion this morning we see that Jethro, Moses' father-in-law comes to visit with Zipporah and their two sons.  The men show care for each other and share a meal in the tent with Aaron and the other leaders.  When Jethro sees how the people come before Moses all day and all night he gives sound advice.  This setting of scripture gives us insight on how we should consider the counsel that we receive.  We must always be mindful to be in prayer if this counsel is led of the Ruach HaKodesh or of the flesh.  There are some well meaning people out there giving misinformation.  The ownness is on us for not inquiring further of Yahweh if this is the path that He has set before us and then following His directions.  This is what Jethro tells Moses once he has offered his advise, that if Yahweh would have him do this it--he is not expecting to have the final word.  We have to be careful that we don't try to rule those who are in leadership positions.  They have their assigned task, as do you.  There is wisdom in that Jethro shares, that the current situation, of all of the people coming before Moses for every decision would indeed wear out the people and even more so Moses himself.  The teaching of the law, Yahweh's instructions is to all of the people and would help them to navigate their decisions to prevent further problems.  Also this led to the appointing of leaders over groups of people that if they were not able to settle the issue, then they would be brought before Moses.  Can you imagine the backlog that would create in the courts for every issue being decided before the judge?!  How many decisions would be delayed for this long wait for the judge?  The children of Israel are a people chosen by Yahweh to teach His law, principles and decrees to all of the earth.  They would all come to study, learn and to teach others.
In this same portion we have the ten utterances that are the index to the 613 principles of Yahweh to instruction and direct His people--all who will receive and uphold His word.  This is what the people agreed to and then Moses goes up on top of the mountain for more instruction that the people receive later as it it being taught to the leaders who in turn teach it to the groups they have been assigned.  Thank You Yahweh for leading us back to Your teaching and instruction.  That we are able to judge according to Your word the good and right way to go.  That we would teach all of Your word to our children and live our lives as walking Torah principles.  To hear this teaching again click here.

We are walking in today:  Testimony Tuesday--Go On To Perfection

Witness wise council throughout the Bible:  H2449 chakam to be wise, teach wisdom, cunning.  H8458 tachbulah direction, guidance, counsel
Isaiah 19:11; Jeremiah 18:18; Proverbs 12:15, 19:20, 24:6; Job 5:13; Daniel 2:14

The Rabbi Shaul/Paul makes his case that we should not continue to re-lay the same foundation again and again.  The foundation that was laid is sure and strong, so let us move on to perfection.  How do we build up a strong house?  What is the next level to be built? Fiveamprayer in our study and walking out this foundation that we have been given, the atoning death and sacrifice of Yeshua taking way the law of sin and death by by no means deletes the the Davar Elohim, the word of God has not changed!  Nor can it be done away with!   Going on to perfection, as Paul asked the people in the book of Acts if they had received the Holy Spirit or Ruach HaKodesh?  They had already received what Yeshua did on the execution stake for us.  Move on in perfection.  Remember that the Hebrew language is verb based--the focus is on action!  We have to get into motion and out of our emotions!
We have the instructions in James that for anyone that needs healing, to ask for it--that the elders would lay on hands in prayer for healing.  Let us move on to perfection!  We have to teach beyond a salvation message.  What is the teaching for those that are already saved?  Do they keep getting re-saved?  Is that necessary or possible?  Once we are taken from dysfunction to function what other purpose do we have in our lives?  Is this the end of the road?  Certainly not--move on to perfection!
Our ongoing study of scripture being lead by the Holy Spirit gives us more understanding of His word.  Thank You Yahweh for upholding Your word that gives us light and understanding that we can be found in right standing and Your purpose!!  Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.  Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.  John 14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.  Fiveamprayer we have His word to light our path, that our good works would give glory to Yahweh--even what Yeshua does was commanded by Yahweh how can we do otherwise?  Let us not remain only on the foundation that has been laid but go on to perfection as He refines and builds us up to His standard, all 613 of them!  To hear this message again click here.

Who are the Gentiles? 14
Q
uestions For Your Review

1.

Was Jesus a Jew or a Gentile?

Answer: Yeshua was a Torah observant, tallit wearing, synagogue attending, Sabbath and feast-keeping, Kosher Jew who observed the Seven commanded Holy Days in scripture.

Are today's Christians, for the most part, walking in Torah, keeping The Biblical feasts, or The Seventh Day Sabbath? (And please check your calendars to see that the 7th day falls on Saturday, not Sunday.) I am going to keep this real!!!! Fiveamprayer, various groups of Catholicism and m

any Christian denominations claim to be the "true religion" that Yeshua established. Yet, modern day "Christianity" has very little in common with the founder of their "faith".

2.

Why do Christians refer to the Jewish Messiah as "Jesus" when Yeshua was His given Hebrew name? It's not that hard to pronounce
,
RIGHT
!
?

Answer: The Jewish Messiah's given name
i
s Yeshua. "Jesus" is the Hellenized-Anglicized form of "Yeshua". "Jesus" doesn't mean anything, while Yeshua means "Salvation". Yeshua never heard the name "Jesus" in His lifetime. Some people have said that this is irrelevant, but The question is this: If your name is "John" or "Mary", why would you answer to "Charles" or "Betty"? Yes, Yeshua knows who we are talking about when we call Him "Jesus", but it's a lot more rewarding to call Him by His given Name--the name that has a meaning.

3.
Where in Scripture does Yahweh tell us to ignore the original, Seventh Day Sabbath--
t
he day He Himself blessed and made holy
in
Gen
esis
2:1-2?

Answer: You won't find anything in Scripture that references the changing of the Sabbath to Sunday. Some argue that it's because "Jesus rose on a Sunday"
 B
ut you need to ask yourself:
w
hy would that, in itself, change
t
he seventh-day Sabbath that Yahweh our God ordained "in the beginning"? Some argue that Constantine was responsible for changing the Sabbath because he hated the Jews.

No matter who instituted Sunday worship, in Yeshua's time, both Jews and Gentiles alike, regularly attended the synagogue for worship on
t
he seventh day, and the fact that interested Gentiles in Antioch requested further instruction of Paul "on The next Sabbath" is irrefutable evidence that no separate Sunday (1st day) meetings were being held there by those early Christians:
 t
he Gentiles were willing to wait an entire week, till The next Saturday, for a meeting because they knew that Paul and his companions did not normally meet for worship on a Sunday. Acts 13:42-44 tells us that, on The next Sabbath (Saturday) almost the whole city arrived for the meeting.
Some insist that Acts 20:7 reveals Sunday worship, but this is not true. Fact is, Jewish believers in Yeshua continued meeting at synagogue

s
(or the Temple) for Sabbath.
The
c
ommon practice

would be havdalah
, the closing out of the sabbath with dinner where study and discussion would continue on in the the later evening.  This
meeting in homes after sundown on Saturday to continue discussions and praise from
t
he Sabbath, which explains Paul "preaching until midnight" in Acts 20:7. The first day of the week for Jews (like Paul)

began at sundown at the end of the Sabbath - Saturday evening - not "Sunday."
Furthermore, the fact is, neither the Father nor the Son has ever claimed the first day as His own in any higher sense than He has each or any of the other laboring days. Neither of them has ever placed any blessing upon it, or attached any sanctity to it. The Bible tells us Yahweh our God expressly reserved The Seventh Day

to Himself, placing His blessing upon it, and claimed it as His holy day. (Genesis 2:1-3) Moses told Israel in the wilderness of Sin of the sixth day of the week, "Tomorrow is the rest of the holy Sabbath unto the Adonai." Exodus 16:23.

4.
Christians insist that "the law" was abolished. How is that possible when sin is transgression of "the law"?

Answer:
When and by whom was it abolished? Certainly not by Yeshua! He said He came NOT to abolish but to confirm (Hebrew: koom which means "establish/confirm)". Why would Yeshua's role as FINAL SIN OFFERING (He martyred Himself!) in any way negate Torah--Yahweh's original teaching and instruction? Did He ever say, "I came to abolish Torah and render my original teachings void"? Yeshua is our "New Covenant" and "Sin Offering". Period. Yahweh gave us a New/Renewed Covenant, not a new Torah! Did He even mention Torah at all as He spoke about giving us a New/Renewed Covenant (Jer
e
miah

31:30-33
 and
Heb
rews

8:8-12)? You won't find anything in Scripture to show that Torah was ever abolished.

Yeshua said: Matthew 5:17-18 17 Don't think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. 18 Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah --not until everything that must happen has happened. If "ALL" hasn't happened yet, and heaven and earth have not passed away, then that must mean that His Torah is still valid.

5.
Why do Christians insist that "the law" was "written on our hearts" (Jeremiah 31:33-34; Romans 10:4-8) but somehow, the "OT" no longer pertains to them?

Answer: Many Christians have decided that when Yahweh our God said, "I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts" He meant that His original Torah (teachings) would be rendered null and void and that they would somehow "just know" right from wrong. But since we are born into sin, that is impossible! Until one actually studies and understands Torah
.
Fiveamprayer, He tells us in Matthew 5:17-18 17 Don't think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. 18 Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah.  Nothing is to pass away until everything that must happen, has happened. If "ALL" hasn't happened yet, Fiveamprayer
, they can't possibly have His Torah "written on their hearts."
How many of today's people automatically know Yahweh's laws? NOBODY! How many actually keep his laws? If this were truly the case that Yahweh's laws were somehow imprinted in our hearts, there would be no adultery, divorce, murder, hate crimes, abortion, lying, stealing, coveting--things that many Christians are certainly guilty of.
Having "the law written on our hearts" means we now have the desire for Torah!
 Fiveamprayer,

t
he heart is the "seat of desire". Why? Because it is the battleground over which Yahweh and Satan fight continually. Allegiance comes from the heart;
Fiveamprayer

as do concepts such as honor, loyalty, and commitment. The heart,
it
sets apart greatness from merely "good". Without the heart no endeavor reflects the fact that we are created in the image of Yahweh.

6.
Since Yahweh said to celebrate the Biblical feasts FOREVER (Leviticus 23:21, 31, 41, Exodus 12:14), why do you believe He wants you to ignore them now, simply because His Son died on the Stake? Has "forever" come and gone, or
His word
ended somehow?

Answer: No
!
F
oreve
r
has not come and gone.  Torah observant believers celebrate the Biblical feasts because it is instructed by Yahweh our God in the Torah for Israel ("Israel" includes EVERYONE who accepts the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob--Numbers 15:13-16) to observe these festivals forever (Leviticus 23:21, 31, 41, Exodus 12:14). Messiah Yeshua observed these festivals as did the early Messianic Jews and apostles such as Rabbi Shaul/Apostle Paul (Acts 20:16, 1 Corinthians 16:8, Acts 28:17). When Yeshua returns to this earth these festivals will be re-established worldwide (Zechariah 14:16-21). Yahweh has His appointed times, His moadim!  He does nothing without purpose.
Fiveamprayer, we have got to know and believe that!

What makes us think we can simply ignore what He says?
Here's something to ponder. Yeshua has only fulfilled the first four of the seven Biblical feasts. If He fulfilled the first four, what makes you think He won't fulfill the last three? If everything goes according to Yahweh's Plan and the first four feasts have been fulfilled, then the next feast to be fulfilled is Rosh

H
ashana
,
the Feast of Trumpets. Most Christians choose to believe the entire "OT" has been "nailed to the cross".
But was it a

cross that Yeshua was nailed to in the first place?  There is a lot
 to be studied Five
amprayer!

7.
Did Rav Sha'ul (Apostle Paul) actually say that, since Yeshua's death, we can eat whatever we want, meaning there is no more "Kosher"?

1 Timothy 4:1-
5
The Spirit expressly states that in the acharit-ha-ya-mim (Hal-lit-Ta-ya-mem) “In the last Days” some people will apostatize from the faith by paying attention to deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come from the hypocrisy of liars whose own consciences have been burned, as if with a red-hot branding iron. 3 They forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods which Yahweh created to be eaten with thanksgiving by those who have come to trust and to know the truth. 4 For everything created by Yahweh is good, and nothing received with thanksgiving needs to be rejected, 5 because the word of Yahweh and prayer make it holy.
First of all we have to remember that Paul was talking to the Jews and Gentiles
,
 who were
observing the laws of kashrut or eating
kosher.  Which Yahweh gave to the people to know what is biblical food by His definition.  That which is
"clean and unclean"
to eat.
They would
 not have

dream
t
of going against what Yahweh said in Leviticus concerning what He
defined as food for us
 (
a
lthough many prefer to think otherwise, Paul constantly confirmed Torah

Romans 3:31 Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law....)
.

This goes back to what Rabbi Messer taught in us in our last t
w
o class
es
, that we couldn’t possibly
, understand what Apostle Paul was teaching and discussing if we do not develop a Hebraic mindset through study and being taught Yahweh’s teaching and Instruction.
****Paul tried to warn people against doctrines of demons which twist Yahweh's Word.
 Fiveamprayer,
Every creature is good and not to be refused
if
it is made holy by the Word of Yahweh and prayer (thanksgiving). The Word of Yahweh in Leviticus,
is what tells us what is

holy
and
unholy
.
That is what Kosher means, because it comes from the same root as kodesh, meaning holy. AMEN

8.
Where in Scripture did Yeshua ever attend a "church"?

Answer: The Bible tells us that He attended "synagogues"
.
Matthew 12:9, Matthew 13:54, Mark 1:21, Mark 1:29, Mark 3:1, Mark 6:2, Luke 4:16, Luke 4:20, Luke 4:28, Luke 4:38, Luke 6:6, Luke 7:5, John 6:59, John 12:42, John 18:20, Acts 13:14, Acts 13:42, Acts 14:1, Acts 18:4, Acts 18:26, Acts 19:8--
and that is just
to mention just a few
 scriptures.

Andrew Gabriel Roth's Aramaic English New Testament - translated directly from the original Aramaic into English - never mentions
he word
"church"
Fiveamprayer,
but rather uses the words congregation or community. This is a good place to mention that Messiah Yeshua was
nothing with the
modern New Testament representation, that most Christian denominations have made Him into. The apostle Paul warned against what was already beginning to happen 1,900 years ago - the world had already embraced "
Another Jesus
",

a totally different person from the One revealed in Scripture! Paul warned the Corinthian church:
2
Corinthians 11: 2-
4 2
For I am jealous for you with Yahweh's kind of jealousy; since I promised to present you as a pure virgin in marriage to your one husband, the Messiah; 3 and I fear that somehow your minds may be seduced away from simple and pure devotion to the Messiah, just as Havah (Eve) was deceived by the serpent and his craftiness. 4 For if someone comes and tells you about some other Yeshua than the one we told you about, or if you receive a spirit different from the one you received, or accept some so-called "good news" different from the Good News you already accepted, you bear with him well enough!

9.
If as you believe, the Torah was "abolished" and the "Old Testament" is to be ignored--why are
some
Christians still teaching the Ten Commandments or telling church members to tithe? Isn't it hypocritical to pick and choose what we want to believe of the "Old Testament?

Answer: The Ten Commandments appear in two places in the Bible: Both are in the "Old Testament" - Exodus chapter 20

and Deuteronomy chapter 5.  Neither version conveniently lists the commandments from one to ten, which is presumably how they would appear when posted. In the most commonly referenced passage, Exodus 20, the commandments cover 17 verses and encompass at least 14 imperatives.  Concerning tithing, in the New Testament tithe and tithing are found eight times (Matthew 23:23; Luke 11:42; 18:12; Hebrews 7:5-6,8-9). But all of these passages refer to the Old Testament usage "under the law!"
With this concept in mind,
it seems that today's church pastors should never ask for tithes because, according to the Christian train of thought, tithes are "old testament"
and have been done away with.

10.
Does Scripture command us to celebrate the birth or resurrection of the Messiah
with the holidays of
 Christmas and Easter?
 Or would it be
okay to lie to your children about the existence of Santa Claus and egg-laying rabbits? What do these things have to do with Yeshua's birth and death? For those who want to answer
 that with
: "It's fun; it's tradition"
.
T
hen please check the Bible to see what Yahweh says about man-made traditions.

Answer: You won't find Christmas and Easter anywhere in the Bible. Those "h
olidays
" were strictly man's idea - in the same way that Aaron's sons, Nadab and Abihu, decided to offer a sacrifice with "unauthorized fire before Adonai," thus disobeying His instructions. For that, they were immediately consumed by God’s fire.  So what makes us today think it's okay to "add or subtract" anything to the commands to keep His seven holy feast days? (Please see The Pagan Origins of Christmas and The Pagan Origins of Easter.)  Is human tradition worth the cost of making us guilty of sinning in Yahweh's eyes?

11.
When exactly did Gentiles come into faith, and how can they claim that
their
"church" is the "original church that Jesus built" when none of them observe Torah,
many

of them ignore The Seventh day Sabbath and the Biblical feasts!  Does
your
church in any way resemble anything that Yeshua originally taught?  Please check the Bible thoroughly before answering.

In the beginning, Gentiles were considered to be immoral heathens and Pagans because they worshiped every kind of "god" except Yahweh. But yet, it was always YWHW's will for the Gentile nations to receive His Salvation (Isaiah 49:6, 42:6). Yawheh told Abraham that through him all the nations of the earth would be blessed (Genesis 12:1-3). Early Messianic Jews did not understand that this was Yahweh's will and proclaimed the Good News of the Messiah only to Jewish people. The controversy in the first century was not if it was Jewish to believe in Yeshua but whether Gentiles could be included without having to become Jewish. This was addressed by the Jerusalem council (Acts 15:1-31).

When the early Messianic Jews took the Good News of the Messiah to the Gentiles, a great number were brought into the Messianic faith. By the end of the first century A.D., the number of Gentile believers outnumbered the Jewish believers by a ratio of two to one! This occurred primarily because there were (and still are) more Gentiles in the world than Jewish people. Through the years, as the number of Gentile believers increased, they began to dominate this Messianic faith. Some Gentile believers, not understanding the Jewish roots of their faith and Yahweh's eternal covenant with Israel, wanted to split off and form a separate religion divorced from their Jewish roots (Romans 11:1-2). This "de-Judaizing process" continued until Gentile Christianity emerged as the dominant representative faith in the Messiah. In one of the greatest paradoxes in history, it became alien for a Jew to believe in Yeshua as his Messiah!
Yeshua said He came NOT to abolish but to fulfill/establish/confirm (Matthew 5:17). He also said that until all has been accomplished, and heaven and earth have passed away, not one "jot or tittle"/the smallest letter or stroke would disappear from the Torah (Matthew 5:18). Has ALL been accomplished yet?  Have heaven and earth passed away yet?

If not then why are you ignoring the Torah?
Since Yeshua said He did
not
come to abolish Torah, we
must
adhere to Torah! The Bible clearly shows that Yeshua was a devout Jew who did not come to abolish the Torah of His Father and bring a New "Religion"; but to
m
agnify,
e
stablish, and
c
onfirm it! As we continue to read Matthew 5, verse 19 and 20 clench the previous two:

19 So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot (words/commands) and teaches others to do so will be called The least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called Great in the Kingdom of Heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness is far greater than that of the Torah-teachers( the scribes) and P'rushim,( Pooh-a- Sheem) Pharisees you will certainly not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

12.
The Bible in several places states that Yahweh's Word is FOREVER. "Forever, O Adonai, Your word is settled in heaven (Psalm 119:89).
 Fiveamprayer,
 d
id "
forever
" end at the beginning of the "New Testament"? Has "
forever
" come and gone?

Answer: Yahweh said His Word is FOREVER. "Forever" didn't end last Tuesday, so why are Christians negating His Torah NOW? "Forever, O Adonai, Your word is settled in heaven (Psalm 119:89). "As for Me, this is My covenant with them," says Yahweh: "My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring's offspring," says Yahweh, "from now and forever." (Also see Isaiah 59:21 and 1 Chronicles 16:15.)
"FOREVER" hasn't come unless "everything has happened that must happen" and "heaven and earth have passed away" (Rev.21:1). Has the heavenly Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) already come down from heaven to the earth (Rev.21:2)? Has Satan already been punished and cast into the lake of fire? (Rev.20:10.) Has the Great White Throne Judgment

(Deliverance) occurred already? (Rev.20:11-12) Has Yeshua already returned and established the Kingdom of Yahweh (Rev. 10:1-7, 19:6, 11-16)?

13.
Yahweh said in Proverbs 4:2 "I give you good instruction: Do not forsake my Torah (teaching, instruction, law)." What makes you think
Yeshua
abolished that command?
Answer:
Yahweh clearly told us NOT to ignore His teachings! The overwhelming decadence of today's world is clear evidence as to how much we have strayed from Yahweh our God’s Word.

14.
Do you really believe that by ignoring Torah you are provoking the Jews to jealousy (Romans 11:11:12)?
Fiveamprayer, let's be honest
--
d
o you think they're going to be really jealous of the Christians who ignore The True Sabbath and The Biblical Feasts
?  And then proceed to
ask the Jews to give up the first two-thirds of the Bible (which contain all of Yahweh's "forever" commands) and adhere to the last third only?

Answer: Christians have killed millions of Jews and been responsible for persecuting them in one way or another for centuries. And now you want to tell them that the God you borrowed from them, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,  has come in the form of a man, they are supposed to worship now, and who demands, they throw away His Torah because Jesus' death on the Stake automatically negated all of Yahweh's original teachings?

You want them to believe they should throw out the original God-breathed Word and adhere to "New Testament" writings only? You want them to give up the idea of the original Sabbath and Biblical feasts found in the Torah.  These very feasts that Yeshua is still in the process of fulfilling???

Please think about how you would feel if someone came and told you to throw Yeshua out the window and start believing in some strange god that teachings conflict with Yahweh's original Word!  Known fact, Fiveamprayer, in order to win the heart of a Jew, you must first remember the correct Name of "Yeshua" who was Torah observant, and realize that the reason the Jews do not and cannot believe in your "Jesus" is because (1) Jesus was NOT The Torah observant Messiah who actually walked this earth; and (2) their "spiritual eyes" have not yet been opened to the Truth of Yeshua. Yahweh Himself will open their eyes in due time.  To hear more of this teaching click here.
