Exodus 18:20-25
20 You should also teach them the laws and the teachings, and show them how to live their lives and what work they should do. 21 But you should choose from among all the people competent men who are God-fearing, honest and incorruptible to be their leaders, in charge of thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. 22 Normally, they will settle the people’s disputes. They should bring you the difficult cases; but ordinary matters they should decide themselves. In this way, they will make it easier for you and share the load with you. 23 If you do this — and God is directing you to do it — you will be able to endure; and all these people too will arrive at their destination peacefully.”  24 Moshe paid attention to his father-in-law’s counsel and did everything he said. 25 Moshe chose competent men from all Isra’el and made them heads over the people, in charge of thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.

THE LEADERSHIP SECRET TO GREATNESS

In the New Testament book of Matthew, one of Jesus’s students wrote this account of a request that was made by two of his fellow students who were in the leadership training school. He recorded it like this: Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Jesus with her sons and, kneeling down, asked a favor of him. “What is it you want?” he asked. She said, “Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom.” “You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said to them. “Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?” “We can,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father.” When the ten heard about this, they were indignant with the two brothers. Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you.”

Next, Jesus made an amazing statement. Please first note that he did not rebuke the brothers for desiring to be great and seeking leadership positions. As a matter of fact, with the following statement, he went even further and showed them how to become great. Why did he not rebuke them? Because he knew and understood the nature and inherent passion of the human creature.

Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

What Jesus is stating here is that, to become the great leader you were created and destined to become, you must discover your unique inherent gift and assignment (your original purpose) and serve that to the world of mankind. Do not seek greatness, but seek to serve your gift to others to the maximum extent that you can, and you will become a sought-after person. In essence, Jesus defined true leadership as becoming a person who is valuable to others, rather than a person of just position or fame.

If you find your unique gift or special talent and commit to serving it to the world of mankind, then your significance will cause people to seek you out. You will become an influence through exercising your gift, rather than through manipulation. The more you become a person whose gift is valued, the greater your influence will be.

Servant leadership integrates all of the following precepts. It is—

• the discovery of one’s purpose, gift, and talent and the commitment to give them in service to mankind.

• being prepared to serve one’s gift to the world at every opportunity for the betterment of humanity.

• serving oneself to the world.

• “self-distribution” to your generation.

• the maximization of self-manifestation.

• the pursuit of an inherent vision in order to serve others. The natural results of servant leadership are the following:

• Authenticity, authority, and authorization

• Originality, from not being a copy of anyone else

• Genuine confidence, based on one’s natural ability

• Personal fulfillment, stemming from satisfaction

• A sense of intrinsic value, based on the knowledge of one’s significance

• No competition, because of one’s uniqueness

• No comparison, because of one’s distinctiveness

• No jealousy, because of one’s value

• No fear, because of one’s conviction

PRINCIPLES OF LEADERSHIP

A careful study of the lessons taught by Jesus in the above discourse will reveal the following principles of leadership:

• Leadership is predetermined and not a preference.

• Leadership is a prepared position.

• Leadership demands a price.

• Leadership is inherent.

• Leadership is a divine deposit.

• Leadership is not for you but for others.

• Leadership is becoming your true self for the benefit of others.

When God told Adam to name the animals, for example, Adam didn’t sit back and try to argue with him about it, saying, “There are too many animals. How can I name all these species?” He never hesitated. Instead, he just did it. He had the confidence, the conviction, and the authority of the spirit of leadership. It is important to note that God did not give Adam a list of animal names to choose from. Instead, he allowed Adam to draw on the capacity he had within him, in order to show him that his ability to do so already existed.

The nature of the leadership spirit is the inherent desire of all mankind to control and regulate both environment and circumstances.

Comfortable with Power Another aspect of the leadership spirit is that it is comfortable with power. Power, in itself, is natural for the human spirit. Again, problems arise when we distort our natural gifts. For example, when a person doesn’t have a good self-concept, a strong self-worth, and high self-esteem, he will use his power in negative ways in order to compensate for his feelings of inferiority and vulnerability. He will intimidate, manipulate, and oppress.

EVERYONE DESIRES INFLUENCE; HOWEVER, WE’VE CONFUSED INFLUENCE WITH DOMINANCE.

We all naturally seek power. The homeless man sleeping under a bridge in a cardboard box desires power just as much as the man who is sleeping in a twelve-bedroom house by a lake. We use a thousand different ways to try to gain power, such as—

• positions of influence

• money

• association and membership in influential or elite groups

• material status symbols, such as clothing, houses, cars, and jets

• status in society, such as living in a certain neighborhood or region

• educational achievements

• type of jobs or careers

Again, the desire for power, in itself, isn’t wrong. It’s our attitude toward and use of power that can be harmful. If we don’t desire power of some sort, our natural inclination has been altered by oppression, apathy, fear, or other things. I think that we need to admit to our desire for power before we can become friendly with it. If we deny our penchant for it, we deceive ourselves as well as others.

The desire for power to control circumstances is one of the most potent motivating factors of human behavior. Again, when the young Jewish rabbi Jesus began training his leadership team, one of the first things he did was to give them power—power to exorcise demons, heal the sick, raise the dead, and so forth. He sent them out, and they went and started using that power. When they returned, they told him everything they had done, and they started celebrating. The biblical account says, “In that hour Jesus rejoiced.” Why would Jesus give a group of men, which included fishermen, a tax collector, and a zealot, that much power? He gave them power so that they could taste how it felt to put their inherent leadership nature to use in a positive way, and they came back excited about it. Then he got excited about their excitement because he saw humanity exercising power in the way the Creator first intended them to. Mankind was in control of his circumstances. Imagine a fisherman having power over death, cleansing lepers, opening blind eyes, and unstopping deaf ears.

If you study the lessons he taught, they all relate to this theme. He walked on the water and said, in effect, “You can do this; come.” He healed the sick, and then he said, “Go ahead, do it.” He was showing them how to have dominion over their environment, how to have power over circumstances through the power of God.

When someone comes to us and says that he wants to do something great and big, we normally think that he is overly ambitious and proud. Actually, he’s exercising his true nature. But what do we do? We intimidate him in order to try to discourage him. Sometimes, we even use religion as a justification for telling others not to seek greatness. But here Jesus is telling his disciples, in essence, “You want to be great? Then here’s how to do it: You serve others.”

Once more, since God is our Creator and the “material” from which we were created, then in order to understand our leadership attributes, it is naturally imperative for us to explore, study, and come to understand the nature of His attributes. In essence, if you want to know and understand yourself, your nature, and your abilities, it is necessary for you to know God, who is your Source.

OMNIPOTENCE

The first attribute of God is that he is omnipotent or all-powerful. How do we apply this attribute to ourselves? Omnipotence means “all-inherent power.” It can also be described as a sense of secure ability in pursuing and fulfilling one’s purpose and will. Since we were made in the image and likeness of the Creator, and possess that same ability in a measure, this means that we inherently have power that enables us to accomplish what we were created to do. In addition, power can be defined as the proper use of energy. The application for us is this: God does not use energy in a negative way. His power is creative. A true leader who has tapped into his essential nature uses power to create
things, to make things better for people, just as God does. The Creator uses his power to produce what is good, and we are meant to do the same.

OMNISCIENCE

The Creator is also omniscient or all-knowing. Because we have his nature, we have the facility to understand and retain knowledge. I believe that we are capable of learning as much as we want to. In this sense, our ability to learn is infinite. Moreover, we can never grow too old to learn. We have the capacity to know more than we think we can. This means that whatever you’ve learned so far is not enough for you to know. Our ability to know is inherent, and any perceived limitation of this ability is based on our conclusion that we’ve learned all that we can or want to know. Yet this is not all that we are able to know. We have a long way to go in order to match our potential for knowledge. Paul of Tarsus said that a day will come when we will meet our Creator face-to-face, and then we will “know as we are known.” We can begin that process now. For example, although I can’t bodily go into the heavens to communicate with and learn from God, I have the capacity to do this in my spirit. We need to be more aware of our ability to know our Creator and the world that he has made.

OMNIPRESENCE

The third attribute of God is that he is omnipresent. This means that he is everywhere and that there is no place in heaven, the universe, or on earth that threatens or intimidates him. Here is how I apply this attribute to our In addition, as I said earlier, you can put a natural leader anywhere on earth, and in a matter of time, he is in charge of his environment. His environment doesn’t control him; he controls it. Again, because we are made in the image of our Creator, we have the ability to dominate our environments. We can control and govern them instead of becoming victims of them. But we have to first discover that we have this ability because of the Source from which we came.

The Leadership Spirit
To exercise leadership, you must believe that you are inherently a leader. Leadership really comes down to two things: who you are and how you think. It is about discovering your identity as a born leader and then understanding the way true leaders think so that you can fulfill your inherent calling. If you don’t first establish your leadership nature, it will be very difficult to have the mind-set of leadership. True leadership is first concerned with who you are, as opposed to what you do. Leadership action flows naturally from a personal leadership revelation. To exercise leadership, you must believe that you are inherently a leader.

The leadership spirit is the inherent leadership capacity and potential that is the essential nature of human beings. The spirit of leadership, which is what most of this book focuses on, is the mind-set or attitudes that accompany a true leadership spirit and allow the dormant leadership potential to be fully manifested and maximized.

WHAT IS THE LEADERSHIP SPIRIT?

“Trapped within every follower is a hidden leader.” However, the above statement contains the essence of what the original philosophy of leadership was intended to be. It is upon this premise that I propose the belief that leadership is inherent in the human spirit of every person, This leadership capacity is buried under social, cultural, and ideological perceptions that restrict, discourage, and hinder its manifestation.

If trapped in every follower is a hidden leader, then from where did this inherent leadership potential come? And if it exists, why do so many never seem to exhibit it or show some evidence of its presence?
The inherent capacity of the human spirit to lead, manage, and dominate, which was placed there at the point of creation and made necessary by the purpose and assignment for which man (humanity) was created. Again, leadership is not something that human beings should strive for; it is something that we already have been given because of our purpose and design.

Man doesn’t have a spirit; man is a spirit, and that spirit is an expression of God’s Spirit. The essential nature of his Spirit is in our spirits because of the Source from which we come. Leadership is really a discovery of who we truly are and the application of that discovery to our lives. Simply put, true leadership is self-discovery and self-manifestation.

1.The Creator first established the purpose of whatever he desired to make.

2.The Creator identified the material from which each product in creation was to be made.

3.The Creator directed his creative speech to the material from which he desired the product to be made.

4. The product possessed the same components as the source from which it was derived, and therefore possessed the same potential.

From the following creation Scriptures, we quickly notice that everything that lives on the Earth was somehow sourced by the Earth and thus consists of the Earth’s elements:

Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.” So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

Vegetation, birds, and animals, in essence, came from the soil. Fish and other sea creatures were created from the waters, and the stars were produced out of the firmament. All the wonderful products of creation that we have on Earth consist of whatever their source is, and when they die, they, in effect, return to the components of that source. In the case of plants and animals, they return to the dust from which they came. Why is this principle so important to understanding the leadership spirit? The answer in found in the Creator’s process of creating mankind. When the above aspects of nature were made, the Creator directed his creative speech to the soil, water, or firmament. But when it came to creating the human species, his focus changed. Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule [“have dominion”] over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” The most amazing distinction here is that, in his creation of mankind, the Creator did not speak to the soil, the water, or the firmament. He spoke to himself.

Many of us miss the essential point here. Humans were not just made by God, but they were also drawn out of his own nature. The word “image” used in this verse means the following in the original Hebrew text: selem (6754), “statue; image; copy.”...The word...means “image” in the sense of essential nature....Human nature in its internal and external characteristics.... So, too, God made man in His own “image,” reflecting some of His own perfections: perfect in knowledge, righteousness, and holiness, and with dominion over the creatures....in Gen. 1:26

(The first occurrence of the word) the “image” of God is represented by two Hebrew words (selem and demut).” The word for likeness is akin to image but embraces an additional meaning: “demut (1823), ‘likeness; shape; figure; form; pattern.’...First, the word means ‘pattern,’ in the sense of the specifications from which an actual item is made.”17 The verb form of likeness is the following: “damah (1819), ‘to be like, resemble, be or act like, liken or compare, devise, balance or ponder.’”

These are the words that define and describe the essence of your composition, capacity ability, potential, and value. They also confirm and reveal how the Creator designed you and why.
According to the above definitions and meanings, to be made in God’s image and likeness means that you possess the spiritual nature, characteristics, essential specifications, and “substances” of God and are a reflection of his spiritual qualities. It also denotes that you were designed to be like, act like, and function like the Creator. In essence, God created you from his own substance and released you from his own Spirit, and therefore, as far as species go, you are in the “god class” in the sense that you are considered his “son” or offspring.

REDISCOVERING YOUR LEADERSHIP PURPOSE

Remember that everything God does is motivated by his purpose, and therefore the original purpose for a product determines its design, composition, capacity, and potential. Purpose may be defined as “original intent” or “reason for creation.”

“Why, then, did the Creator create mankind?” The answer is found in his declaration of his purpose and original intent for humanity: “Let them rule [“have dominion”]...over all the earth.” He created us out of himself because of his intent that we rule over the earth.

1.Purpose determines design.

2. Purpose determines potential.

3.Purpose determines natural abilities.

4. Purpose determines capacity and ability.

5. Purpose determines natural talents.

6. Purpose determines natural desires.

7. Purpose determines fulfillment and personal satisfaction.

8. Purpose is the source of passion.

9. Purpose gives existence meaning.

10. Purpose is the measure of success and failure.

If we were created to be leaders, then we must all possess the capacity, inherent desire, natural talents, potential, and abilities that correspond to being a leader. The Creator is a leader-maker. Being designed in the image and likeness of God means that we were ordained by him to be leaders. He did not produce us and then decide that he would develop us into leaders. We were designed with that in mind. Because he created us to be leaders and dominators, he had to use leadership and dominion “material.” This material originates only in him, so he made us out of his own nature.

DESIGNED TO DOMINATE

Every manufacturer designs his product with the right components, engineered to fulfill the function that the product is created to perform. In essence, the purpose of the product dictates the mechanical and engineering components required to fulfill the manufacturer’s intent. Its “circuits” are right for the job. This principle holds true for all creation, including human beings. The Creator caused to be inherent in each created entity—including the apex of his creation, mankind— everything it needs to fulfill its original purpose. The original purpose for mankind, defined and established by the Creator, was to “rule [“have dominion”]...over all the earth.” God’s requirement that we dominate is evidence that the ability to lead is inherent in every human spirit. This is the leadership spirit.

I believe that this story contains the greatest secret of true leadership, as well as the process necessary for becoming a genuine leader. With his answer to this question of greatness, Jesus expressed the key, the nature, and the process for you to discover and manifest your true leadership spirit.

If you find your unique gift or special talent and commit to serving it to the world of mankind, then your significance will cause people to seek you out. You will become an influence through exercising your gift, rather than through manipulation. The more you become a person whose gift is valued, the greater your influence will be.

The Shortest Distance To Leadership Is Service.

What Is a True Leader?
Leadership is the capacity to influence others through inspiration motivated by a passion, generated by a vision, produced by a conviction, ignited by a purpose.

We will explore various definitions of leadership and compare them with a definition of leadership that I have developed through years of observation and research. The examples of leaders that follow help demonstrate the fact that true leadership is an attitude rather than a title and that it inspires rather than manipulates or controls.

LEADERSHIP IS MORE THAN INFLUENCE
The fact is that true leadership is not control or manipulation of others, but it is other people’s willful submission of their authority to yours, motivated by inspiration.

TRUE LEADERSHIP IS MARKED BY OTHERS’ WILLFUL SUBMISSION OF THEIR AUTHORITY TO YOURS.
There are many people, past and present, who have influenced others using threats and violence, but we don’t call that true leadership. We call it manipulation, oppression, or dictatorship. Nero, Hitler, and Idi Amin were all influential. They exerted their wills over people, but they were not leaders in the true sense. Leadership is the capacity to influence others through inspiration motivated by a passion, generated by a vision, produced by a conviction, ignited by a purpose.

THE PRIORITY OF INSPIRATION
Leadership is a privilege given by the followers. The great Jewish rabbi, Jesus of Nazareth—the ultimate model of effective leadership—inspired his chosen followers so much that they left their businesses and, for a time, their families, in order to follow him. He never threatened them or forced them to come, but he inspired them and then invited them to join him.

THE POWER OF PASSION
Simply put, the source of inspiration is passion. This component of leadership is the heart of influence and is the generator of the energy and resilience of the leader. Passion is the discovery of a deep desire born out of a conviction that renders one possessed by commitment to a purpose. This passionate commitment allows one to defy opposition, adversity, failure, disappointment, and discouragement. Passion is a controlling desire that exceeds the boundaries of casual interest or concern and transports the individual into the realm of obligation. In essence, true leadership passion is the discovery of a belief, reason, idea, conviction, or cause not just to live for, but also to die for, which focuses on benefiting mankind as a whole.

THE ULTIMATE LEADERSHIP MODEL
Born in an obscure, forgotten town in the hills of ancient Judea; raised in a village that, according to archaeological research, had only one street and eleven houses; and leaving no record of having had any formal education, this young man introduced his vision of a new world order to simple village people who themselves were considered least on the social strata. Yet his clear sense of purpose, his commitment to the cause, and his unrelenting passion and compassion inspired twelve common local businessmen—among them, four fishermen and a tax collector—to abandon their personal dreams, private priorities, and occupations to follow him even to the death. He was so passionate about what he came to do that he motivated his disciples to leave behind their old priorities and ways of living in order to discover a new kind of life with him. They had never before met anyone who was ready to die for what he was living for. Moreover, his impact and imprint on the history of the world and on the personal lives of millions over two millennia testify of leadership at its highest and in its essence.

To clarify the process of leadership according to our working definition, let us review the progression of leadership development:

1. Purpose
2. Conviction
3. Vision
4. Passion
5. Inspiration
6. Influence
7. Leadership

True leadership is impossible unless all these ingredients are present and integrated as a whole, producing a force for change in our communities, societies, and the world.

EXAMPLES OF EFFECTIVE LEADERS
Leaders are often ordinary people who accept or are placed in extraordinary circumstances that bring forth their latent potential, producing a character that inspires confidence and trust within others. Many of the great leaders in history were “victims” of circumstances. They did not intend to be leaders, but the demands of life ignited a sleeping spirit within them. The greatest leadership seems to surface during times of personal, social, economic, political, and spiritual conflict.

Moses
Moses, the historic Hebrew deliverer, was given a clear sense of purpose. In his writings, he described his encounter with God in the wilderness where he was told what he had been born to accomplish.

Martin Luther King Jr.

The unforgettable speech, “I Have a Dream,” encapsulates the purpose, passion, and inspiration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. A leader and symbol of American blacks’ struggle for civil rights, Dr. King helped to change both laws and hearts in America, leading to greater equality and freedom in the country.

Queen Esther
Esther was a beautiful young Hebrew woman, also living in exile, but at a slightly earlier time period. Through an extraordinary set of circumstances, she became the queen of the Persian king Ahasuerus, also known as Xerxes. She learned of a plot to annihilate the Jews, she discovered that she had been born for a critical purpose: preserving her people. Her uncle told her, in effect, “Perhaps you have become queen for such a time as this.” When Esther accepted her purpose, it became her passion, and she was willing to risk her own life for its fulfillment, saying, “If I perish, I perish.” Her courage and grace under tremendous pressure influenced the king to agree to a plan to protect the Jews, who were inspired to rally to defend themselves.

Nelson Mandela
Nelson Mandela’s life purpose was the elimination of the policy of apartheid and the establishment of racial equality in South Africa. He desired the formation of a free and democratic society for all people, black and white. His passion for this purpose led him to fight for these causes, for which he was sentenced to life in prison. At his trial, he explained his vision for his country I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die.”8 Following national and international pressure, Mandela was released from prison after twenty-eight years. He then worked with South Africa’s white leader, F. W. de Klerk, to eliminate apartheid, and they both were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993. In a historic event, Mandela was elected president of his country under open democratic elections and served in that position from 1994–1999. Mandela’s passion transformed an entire country’s outlook, government, structure, and policies.  Shema Selah, let us pause and consider the definition of true leadership qualities and how we are being prepared by His instruction to rule in our lives!  Facebook LIVE video

The Spirit of Leadership, Part 2 --A Converted Attitude Is The Key To A Transformed life!!!!

Exodus 18

We are walking in today: The Spirit of Leadership, Part 2 --A Converted Attitude Is The Key To A Transformed life!!!!

Witness doing throughout the Bible: H4611 ma`alal-- deed, practice, deeds, acts

Leviticus 18:3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
Torah: Deuteronomy 28:20
Prophets: 1 Samuel 25:3; Isaiah 1:16, 3:8, 3:10; Jeremiah 4:18, 7:3, 23:2, 26:13, 32:19; Hosea 5:4; Micah 3:4; Zechariah 1:6
Writings: Judges 2:19; Pro 20:11
Renewed: John 3:20; Acts 19:36; Romans 2:1; Philippians 4:9
Micah 2:7 O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?

Exodus 18:20-25 20 You should also teach them the laws and the teachings, and show them how to live their lives and what work they should do.

We were not designed to be dominated.
When we are not in charge of our lives, we feel bound and restricted. For example, if you have a thirty-year mortgage on your home, you don’t feel free until you pay it off. Even though you’re enjoying your house, there’s a voice in the back of your mind saying, “But it’s still theirs. It belongs to them for as long as they’ve got that paper.” On the other hand, why do you experience relief and contentment when all your bills are paid? When you get a bonus and it covers all your debts and you don’t owe anyone anything, all of a sudden, you get a smile on your face. You want to say hello to everybody you meet. Am I right? When all your needs are met, you feel as if you’re walking on top of the world. That’s because you are experiencing what you were born for. You were designed to be able to manage your environment.

Many people want to make a lot of money, but it’s usually not because they want the money itself. The fundamental desire for wealth is motivated by the desire for power— power to dominate and control lifestyle, circumstances, and environment. It’s the power that money gives us that makes us pursue it. This desire to have control over our lives explains many of the problems in our world. For instance, why does a young teenage boy get a gun, walk in to a store, and say, “Everybody hit the ground! Our society puts a young man like this in a juvenile detention center, and he does his time and comes back out. But he remembers that feeling and is haunted by the temptation to repeat the act. I believe that this is more than a psychological issue. It involves that deep spiritual desire in the nature of man to dominate his environment.

I’m convinced that the desire for power over others is a distortion of something good; it’s a distortion of our inherent human desire to exercise leadership dominion.

LEADERSHIP AND OUR BELIEFS ABOUT ORIGIN
Where do most of our attitudes about leadership come from? Whether you think you are a leader or not, your ideas about leadership are probably a conditioned response. leadership is not an elite club for a certain few. It is the true essence of all human beings. leadership is not an elite club for a certain few. It is the true essence of all human beings. I have found that people’s concepts of their origin often influence the way they think about themselves, including their ideas about their leadership potential.

In our world, there are two major theories about origin: evolution and creation. Over millions of years, microscopic life developed on earth, out of which came animal species that mutated, with the stronger species winning out over the weaker ones in a survival of the fittest. This theory also supports the idea that those who are stronger—physically, intellectually, or creatively—are destined to lead and control others, while the rest are destined to be followers.

The other major theory of humanity’s origin is creation. This is the idea that an intelligent Being formed the universe and created the earth, the vegetation, the animals, and human beings. Some creationists believe that the Creator made the world and then left it to its own devices, while others believe that the Architect of the earth is still actively involved in it and made humanity with a specific nature and purpose. This concept supports the idea that every person has a role and contribution to make, no matter what their station in life and current level of ability.

The alternative is that there must have been a higher, more sophisticated creative process than the arbitrary process of evolution. The ancient writings, as recorded in the first book written by Moses, present a more plausible and reasonable explanation of our origins: We are the products of a highly intelligent and creative Supreme Being. The proposition in the first two chapters of Genesis is that God personally and purposefully created human beings in his own image and likeness and then told them to be fruitful, fill the earth, and rule over it.

The ancient account says that he brought the rest of creation into being with statements such as “Let there be light” or “Let the land produce living creatures.” Yet when it came to one particular creature, he said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness.” Human beings were the only creatures who were indicated as being made in the image and likeness of their Creator. This means that they have his nature. A significant aspect of that nature is the ability to plan ahead, imagine, create, and effectively administer the manifestation of plans. In other words, being made in his image means having the nature or spirit of leadership.

The Creator poured out his own nature into human beings when he established their nature, and this is the origin of our leadership spirit. In this sense, we are a portion of the poured-out God. As the Creator is purposeful, organizational, and creative, we are designed to be the same.

You have to decide which concept of origin you will accept as the basis for your life. Only you can choose what you believe about yourself and human nature, as well as the nature of leadership. Is leadership only for the strong who are able to win out over the weak, or perhaps only for those who receive it by fate? Or is leadership an inherent part of our design as human beings?

Leadership is inherent in our nature and is fundamental to our origins, our human makeup—and our destiny.

We live our thoughts and manifest them in our attitudes toward ourselves and others. We cannot live beyond our thoughts and convictions. This is vitally important because our beliefs, convictions, and ideas form our personal philosophies and serve as the source of our perceptions of ourselves and others, as well as of life itself. In essence, our philosophies determine the way we think. we live our thoughts and manifest them in our attitudes toward ourselves and others. We cannot live beyond our thoughts and convictions.

Many leadership “gurus” have identified and articulated these myths. They can be summarized as follows:

Myth #1 Birth Trait Theory:
“Leaders are born, not made.” This theory is the belief that leadership is a result of special birth traits inherent in the personality and nature of the individual. This concept leads us to deify our leaders as men and women who are essentially unlike us and therefore superior to us.

Myth #2: Leadership by Providence
There is a belief that certain people are chosen by “the gods” and appointed to the elite position of leadership over the unfortunate masses. In essence, leadership is reserved for the few chosen by a divine power to control, manage, and direct the life, future, fortunes, and aspirations of the un-chosen. manage, and direct the life, future, fortunes, and aspirations of the un-chosen.

Myth #3 Leadership Is the Result of a Charismatic Personality
This is the theory that only certain individuals who possess a unique measure of charisma; who exhibit special traits, such as a force of will; who are extroverts; who are magnetic speakers, and so on, are leaders. The difficulty with this theory is that, in every generation, there arise significant leaders who do not display the charismatic traits celebrated by this philosophy.

Myth #4 Leadership Is the Product of a Forceful Personality
This theory emerges from the belief that leadership is the result of an authoritarian, coldly calculating, no-nonsense, hard-driving, impatient, quick-tempered, and moody personality. This false perception comes from the idea that people are fundamentally incompetent and naturally lazy and have to be forced, threatened, and manipulated by their leaders and managers if anything is going to be accomplished. However the evidence has always defied this belief, showing that people are most productive and cooperative when they are inspired rather than manipulated by leadership.

Myth #5 Leadership Is the Result of Special Training
This is the belief that leaders are produced through special educational courses and training. Many people feel that they have to have an MBA or attend leadership conferences in order to be able to lead others. There’s nothing wrong with such training, in itself.

IT’S ALL ABOUT ATTITUDE
The essence of leadership, again, is not in techniques for controlling and manipulating people, which seem to be popular in leadership training today. All the college courses in business administration you may take, all the leadership methods you learn, and all the management seminars you attend can give you information, but they cannot develop you into a real leader.

True leadership is an attitude that naturally inspires and motivates others, and it comes from an internalized discovery about yourself. You cannot “learn” an attitude. If someone learns an attitude, it’s called conditioning or mere mental assent. That’s not leadership. Learning about leadership and knowing what it means to be a leader are two different things. Learning comes from education, while knowing comes from revelation. Learning is cognitive, while knowing is spiritual.

Most of us are not leaders today because, in our hearts, we don’t believe that is who we are. Your future and ability to succeed aren’t tied to what others think of you. They are tied to what you think of yourself. The source of your attitude is your mind-set and thoughts. That’s really what the spirit of leadership is all about. We must have a clear understanding that true leadership is an attitude of the heart birthed by a renewed understanding of purpose. It is more a matter of being something than doing something. It is a self-discovery that translates into meaningful activities such as creating, building, and nurturing. This brings us back to our inherent human desire to be in control of our circumstances. Because true leaders discover and understand who they are and what their purpose is, they influence their environments more than their environments influence them.

CAPTURE AND CULTIVATE THE SPIRIT OF LEADERSHIP
All of us must capture and cultivate the spirit of leadership, this attitude of shaping and forming our lives according to our purposes. Though every human being on this planet has an inclination for leadership, most of us do not have the courage to cultivate it. DISCOVER THE LEADER WITHIN YOU The leadership potential within you is waiting to be discovered. This book will enable you to identify the nature and attitudes that correspond to the leadership spirit so that you can become all that you were designed to be. Again, true leadership is self-discovery. It has very little to do with what you do, but is fundamentally a matter of becoming who you are. It is the result of one’s commitment to self-manifestation.

You were born to lead, but you must become a leader. Every human being was endowed by the Creator with leadership potential in a specific area of gifting. The human spirit is designed to manage and control its world, and it functions best when creating an environment conducive to this pursuit. You are a leader, regardless of your present status or your feelings about your leadership ability and potential. When you discover this truth and become convinced of it, then you won’t be content with just being a follower any longer. You will learn the secret to becoming a leader by discovering the hidden leader within. Are you ready to step out and embark on the life you were born to live? Shema Selah we are being returned to our original purpose, His leaders upon the earth!! The Problem Is Not What You See, But What You Look At!!!!

John 9

We are walking in today: The Problem Is Not What You See, But What You Look At!!!!

Witness consider throughout the Bible: H7200 ra'ah--to see, look at, inspect, perceive, consider

1 Samuel 12:24 Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.

Torah: Exodus 33:13; Leviticus 13:13
Prophets: 1 Samuel 25:17; Isaiah 41:20, 52:15; Jeremiah 2:10; Ezekiel 12:3
Writings: Judges 19:30; 2 Kings 5:7; Job 11:11; Psalm 8:3, 25:19, 45:10, 119:159; Eccleasties 4:1, 4:4, 7:13, 7:14;

Proverbs 24:32 Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.

John 9:41 Jesus said, “If you were really blind, you would be blameless, but since you claim to see everything so well, you’re accountable for every fault and failure.”

I’m so excited about this simple but elusive lesson.

In the Western culture that many of us grew up in, we were taught that you call a spade a spade; you call things by their names and you don’t mince words. You must say things outright, and you must be forthright. But in the Torah it is not always regarded as a virtue to say things the way they are. This does not mean that one should lie, the Most High forbid. But one can say the same thing in many different ways, some of them positive, and some of them negative. For example, if you have to explain something to a person, you can say it very coarsely, or you can get your same point across by saying it in completely different, much more pleasant words. The person will understand you just as well, but meanwhile you didn’t contaminate your mouth. Your mouth was kept pure, because you were careful which words went out of it. Just like we have to be careful what goes into our mouths, in terms of kosher food, etc. The same way we have to be careful about what comes out of our mouths. This is easy enough to understand.

Just as the Torah teaches us that we must be careful with the way we speak, in the same parshah the Torah also teaches us that we must take care regarding what we look at. Of course, you cannot always control what you see. However, the problem is not what you see; the problem is what you look at! You cannot walk around with your eyes closed, but once something questionable pops into your range of vision, don’t look again. Peeking a second time is called looking, not seeing. This again is radically different from Western Culture which claims that television, for example, doesn’t harm you, because of course you realize that television is not real. You can look at anything; you are an intelligent person.

They Did Not See Their Father's Nakedness
As a witness we’ll speak on Noah and his three sons Shem, Ham and Japheth and grandson Canaan. The particular time Noah planted a vineyard and found himself intoxicated by partaking much of the fruit of his labor. Canaan son of Ham happen to come across his grandfathers drunken state while his grandfather was passed out naked uncovered, exposed for all to see. The amusement of Canaan caused shame latter as He informed his uncles of their fathers situation. Shem and Japheth counted it dishonorable to see their fathers nakedness. They approached him backwards as to be blind to uncovered Noah to cover his nakedness without scorn nor shame.
My question is are we blind to others short comings as the spiritual lesson is being taught about Canaan’s seeing exposed Noah, and not covering him but judging His grandfather?

“Did you see what Prophetess Willamea had on like she stepped outta the bed this morning....”

“I heard some questionable things on Min. Jenkins past relationship. Girl he ain’t changed.....”

“Don’t tell Elder Leroy nothing, mouth like a rusted tin roof, just drip, drip, drip”

If you are not looking, you don’t see! So why does the Torah need to mention the obvious?” The Torah’s treasure teaches a person a very fundamental lesson in interpersonal relationships — how to avoid speaking bad things about other people, and how to avoid seeing bad things in other people.

When a person sees evil in another person, he is really being shown the evil in himself. The other person is simply a mirror which reflects the image of the person looking into it. You see something bad in another person because you have that same negative quality in some form or another.

If you are the kind of person who always sees negative things in other people, that is a red light. It means that you have a lot of work to do on yourself. When you look into a mirror, if your face is clean, you don’t see dirt in the mirror. But if you see dirt on the face of the person in the mirror, you need to wash your face, not the mirror!!

There is a verse that states that, “Love covers all flaws.” A similar English expression is, “Love is blind.” When there is love you do not see faults. When you are in love with someone, they are perfect. A mother doesn’t see her child’s flaws, a wife who’s in love doesn’t see her husband’s deficiencies. If this is true of one person’s love for another, how much more so is this true with self-love. Self-love is the strongest love of all. When a person is in love with himself, he finds it very difficult to really see his own shortcomings.

How does the Most High get you to become aware of the deficiencies in yourself? By letting you see them in another person. We can even prove this by citing a well-known phenomenon.

There is a simple test which will clarify which lesson the Most High intends to convey to us: If the first reaction upon seeing this flaw in the other person was, “how bad this person is..." "Just look at her, such terrible behavior…” If your reaction is like Cham — to talk about it, and tell people, “Look what happened, look at this person, she’s so this, she’s so that… can you believe it?!” — then you’re not interested in helping the other person. Accordingly, you should know that you yourself have the same problem, albeit in a different way, and you had better look into yourself and do teshuvah. We see that Shem and Yefes didn’t talk about the problem, they acted — and covered their father’s nakedness.

When one is not blind to place ill intention by sight only--there is resemblance of character. Faults and inefficiency are made aware to us. Yet as children are blind with innocence to the ways of hasatan’s world. So too are we as children of the Most High, need to be born again taught the right way to see and that is to become blind. To see in the Kingdom of Elohim is to be blind and to be blind is to see. In the world of hasatan it is always counterfeit an opposite.

We must learn as citizens of The Kingdom of The Most High. How to cover us and see as Abba sees, His image and likeness lead by His promised Ruach HaKodesh!!! Am I my brothers or sisters keeper? Or will I make fun of or minimize their value and miss the mark short of the great commandment?? To love as I am loved by The Most High.

Here lies true discipleship. If you can see. How can you not believe without looking being blind First?

Shema Selah we must hear, listen and obey that our eyes will be focused on what He is showing us about us!!  Thank you the Most High for all that you set before us for our understanding!!  Facebook LIVE video

Weekend Meditation--What Doctrine Have You Been Taught??!

Revelation 2 ; Numbers 22

We are walking in today:  Weekend Meditation--What Doctrine Have You Been Taught??!

Witness Balaam throughout the Bible:
H1109 Bil`am--"not of the people"; foreigner

Revelation 2:14  But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

Torah: Numbers 22:5, 22:7, 22:9, 22:12, 22:13; Deuteronomy 23:4, 23:5
Prophets: Nehemiah 13:2; Micah 6:5
Writings: Joshua 13:22, 24:9, 24:10
Renewed Covenant: 2 Peter 2:15

Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Revelation 2:12-14

12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; 13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. 14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

The Doctrine of Balaam: A Warning to the Bride

Balaam’s motive was greed, but what he actually did was what almost got him killed! The Reader is urged, however, to read the Scriptures for himself, and cease hearing the teaching that leads us astray (Prov 19:27). Notice that Balaam’s iniquity had already occurred — even before Balaam arrived at his destination, even before Balaam prophesied, and before he could influence, or cast a stumblingblock before, the children of Israel. (See Numbers chapters 22-25; Num 31:16; 2 Pet 2:15; Jude 1:11; Rev 2:14-16).

The Doctrine of Balaam: The Warning

But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication… 16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. (Revelation 2:14,16)

Here we see Yahushua gives us the following warnings:
• Yahushua is giving us a revelation, a ‘revealing’ for His people today, that we are holding on strongly to the Doctrine of Balaam. Although we have not realized this, Yahushua is revealing this Truth to us, as part of our necessary cleansing and preparation as a Bride. We must first be aware of any problem, before we can remedy it.

• Yahushua is then telling us the results of our having held to the Doctrine of Balaam. He tells us that this doctrine has resulted in idolatry and fornication among His people! Some examples of this idolatry will be seen later in this writing.

• Yahushua is also giving us the only remedy of having held to the doctrine of Balaam: to repent, and change direction. We have all been walking in our own ways. Those who desire to be among ‘My People’ must choose, however, to walk in The Most High's way.

• For those of us who claim to be among His people, and do not repent, He will fight against us (the unrepentant among us) with the ‘Sword’ of His mouth.

The Doctrine of Balaam: The Great Danger

We are told of the Error of Balaam in Jude 1:11, and the Way of Balaam in 2 Pet 2:15. We see the Counsel of Balaam in Num 31:16. Then in Rev 2:14-16 we see the Doctrine of Balaam. We may summarize that the Doctrine of Balaam originates as 1) the practice of the Error of Balaam, which 2) later becomes an example seen in the lives and teachings of the spiritual Leadership as the Counsel of Balaam and Doctrine of Balaam, which 3) results in the Error of Balaam being committed in the lives of their followers (the people), and which results in their idolatry and fornication, for which the people will be judged (2 Pet 2:1-15; Jude 1:4, 11).

The Doctrine of Balaam: What it Is

In order to see clearly what Balaam’s error was, and what his perverse way was, let’s recap what we have seen.
First, we see that Balaam disregarded, and did not obey The Most High’s earlier command to him (“Do not go with them”).
Next, we see that Balaam regarded, and obeyed The Most High’s later commanded to him (“rise up and go with them”).
Then, we see the Most High as an adversary with a sword, who told Balaam his way was perverse.
From this we see immediately that Balaam did not keep every word of the Most High, by which we must all live (Matt 4:4; Luke 4:4; Deut 8:3). Instead, Balaam rejected The Most High's earlier word, in favor of His later word.

Next, we see that Balaam had even disobeyed the later word, when he left the next morning without meeting the terms of the Most High condition (“if the men come to call you”) (Num 22:20,21). This imperfect obedience to the later command, however, is a consequence of disobedience to the earlier. We might say that Balaam held to a twisted version of the Most High later command. We might also say that the later Word is always wrested, or twisted, if it does not agree with the earlier Word! To summarize, we might say that what Balaam did was to simply reject the earlier word of the Most High, with the hope that the later word of the Most High would be more favorable to his purposes, and more agreeable to his motive.
His motive was greed, but his action was to reject, and deny the earlier Word, in thinking the earlier word had been somehow ‘nullified.’

The Doctrine of Balaam Today:

The Doctrine of Balaam today is simply the teaching that EL Elyon earlier word has been nullified, in favor of the Most High’s later word. The Error of Balaam is seen today in most Believers’ rejection of the Torah (Law) of the “Old Testament,” in exchange for the teachings of the Doctrines of Men! For it is the Doctrine of men — and not Scripture — that states the “Old Testament” (the Law or Torah) has been nullified by the “New Testament.”

This old-wives-tale is contrary to all of Scripture, for it is contrary to the Words of the Prophets, contrary to the Words of the Apostle Paul, and contrary to the Words of Yahushua Himself.

For example, the Scriptures tell us that the Greek word ‘dogma,’ Strong’s numbers and , the “Decrees of Men,” were against us, and contrary to us, and so they have been blotted out, and taken out of the way, nailed to the cross, and abolished by the crucifixion of Yahushua’s body on the tree.

Yahushua’s crucifixion has thereby removed, and has taken out of the way, the very thing that was against us, and which brings division, and separates men from Him, by leading them astray — the Commandments of Men.

We must be as the Bereans, and see for ourselves whether these things are so! (see Luke 2:1; Acts 16:4; Acts 17:7; Eph 2:15; Col 2:14; Col 2:20.)

It is the man-made commandments of men that appear in the Talmudic writings, which say “touch not, taste not, handle not.” (Luke 2:1; Acts 16:4; 17:7; Eph 2:15; Col 2:14; Col 2:20-22). The Torah of Scripture makes no mention of these.

However, most cemetery-trained Leaders today, in their ignorance of the Talmud, claim that it was the Biblical Law or Torah (the earlier word of the Most High) that has been nullified, abolished, taken out of the way, etc., thus contradicting the plain and clear words of the Apostle Paul!

This partial rejection of the Most High's Word is the ‘perverse way’ of Balaam, for which Balaam was almost killed. (see Jer 11:10; Jer 13:10; Eze 3:10; John 5:46-47; Jas 2:10).

The Doctrine of Balaam Today:

Results Today, most Believing Congregations have replaced the Biblical Truths with the Commandments of Men that ‘appear’ on the surface to be true, to those who do not study the Scriptures on their own. Instead, these Commandments of Men have actually turned most people away from practicing the Truth (Titus 1:14).

Indeed, we hear much mention of pagan customs and abominations such as Christmas, Easter, and Lent; and nothing at all of the Scriptural teachings of the Passover bread, and Passover cup — without which participation there is ‘no life in you‘ according to Yahushua Himself (Matt 26:18-29; Mark 14:16-24; Luke 22:11-20; John 6:53-54).

Notice it is Yahushua Himself who defines and illustrates these words and terms used in Scripture; it is not our place to re-define Bible Words and terms.

Likewise today, we hear of many things considered to be holy and ‘Scriptural,’ such as Communion or the Lord’s Supper. These terms are Biblical, but as used today they sometimes describe man’s replacement for the Biblical Passover! As we saw in a previous article, any man-made replacement for the Most High’s Word is a form of idolatry.

The Result is Idolatry

Note in Scripture that the Biblical Passover is the only sacrifice commanded to be eaten by all of the Most High people. The Passover is to be celebrated only by the Most High people, either home-born or Strangers, that are first circumcised, telling us that Passover is only for the Most High Covenant people. We are further told that the Passover is to be kept only on the Day of Passover, the fourteenth day of the Biblical month (Lev 23:5). Any man-made changes to the Most High Word are considered ‘strange fire.’ Any substitutes of His Word or ordained practice is considered idolatry, and any man-made substitute for any of the Most High Word is considered an idol.
We see furthermore, that the communion or Lord’s Supper as described in Scripture is to be taken at the conclusion of the Passover meal. Therefore any practice that differs from Scriptural practice is merely a clever, man-made counterfeit; it is a substitute for the True, and is thus an idol.

The Doctrine of Balaam denies earlier Word of the Most High, and so it must necessarily deny the Passover as being a vital part of New Covenant life. The Passover is part of the earlier word of the Most High, so the Doctrine of Balaam must create substitutes over to take the place of the True Passover. Today most of the evangelical world have embraced the man-made counterfeit, substitute Passover, rather than the Biblical Passover!

The Remedy: Results of Repentance

For those who repent, and walk in a different path, a path of obedience, the Most High makes these promises:

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. (Revelation 2:17)

The Remedy: Consequences of No Repentance

For those who do not actively repent, or who think they can put it off until a later day, the Most High has this Word:

Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. (Revelation 2:16)

Conclusion

The end-time, New Covenant Believers are given the warning of the Doctrine of Balaam. They are warned to be aware of what it is, and to repent. The Doctrine of Balaam is perhaps the most prominent feature of today’s evangelical Doctrine. This teaching results in the Error of Balaam in the lives of the people. The Doctrine of Balaam results in deceiving multitudes to think the earlier word of the Most High has been nullified. The Doctrine of Balaam is causing many of Yahushua’s precious lambs to be led off into idolatry and fornication, because they are being taught to practice counterfeits of the Most High's prescribed set-apart days, mere substitutes created by the Commandments of Men, which turn men away from the Truth, and which lead them astray.  Shema Selah pause, hear and consider what doctrine are you walking in!!  Look to the entirety of His word it all agrees and can not be twisted against itself!!  Facebook LIVE video

Time To Remove The Abominable Thing Away From You!!

Revelation 17

We are walking in today--Time To Remove The Abominable Thing Away From You!!

Revelation 17:3-5
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication. 5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Removing the Abominations: A Warning to the Bride

By now we should know the 10 Wise Virgin’s in Mathew 25 as well as the Bride in Ephesians 5. She is in preparation for the Bridegroom. They represent those who adorn themselves in white robes and overcame by the blood of Yeshua and the word of their testimony. Meaning salvation is being walked out through wisdom, understanding, and knowledge, seeking the truths through fear and trembling. One humbles themselves under the instructions of the principles. Bares their crucifixion stick daily. Hear listens and obey The rules of the Kingdom.

Yet in all these testing’s for promotions in the Kingdom all that is required from Aheya Asher Aheya (I AM THAT I AM). Is LOVE AND OBEDIENCE. Our ABBA is so good that He warns us of those abomination that would cause us harm and separation from His likeness will and favor.

One must ‘overcome’ in order to avoid being among the abominable, that is, among those abhorred or detested by The Most High, because they practice abominations. Let’s look at a warning given to all who would desire to be among ABBA'S Family:

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Revelation 21:7-8)

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband… 27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life. (Revelation 21:2,27)

Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither byJerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. (Matthew 5:35)

Mystery Babylon Identified

In order to identify the many abominations being practiced by many Believers today, we must first identify the woman that is the ‘mother’ of these abominations.

3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full ofabominations and filthiness of her fornication

5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OFHARLOTS ANDABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. (Revelation 17:3-5)

First, we might recall that the ‘woman’ seen here is the ‘Strange Woman’ religion mentioned in other writings, but seen here as ‘Mystery Babylon.’ The prominent feature of this ‘Strange Woman’ religion as seen here, is that first of all, Mystery Babylon is a ‘mystery,’ and is thus not readily seen. As a result of the unseen ‘mystery’ aspect of this religion, these Believers continue to practice the falsehoods and abominations of the ‘mother’ called Mystery Babylon.

But how do these Believers practice abominations, and not realise they are doing so? To see how this is so, let’s look closely at the above passage, and notice two features of this woman — her name, and the cup held in her hand:

“…having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication…” (Revelation 17:4b)

Oh my first, we see that the golden cup in her hand is full of abominations, and filthiness of fornication. The cup is prophetic of covenant, and the fact that it is a golden cup tells us this speaks of something wrought by the Most High Himself — thus it is ABBA’S covenant. But what notice what the Prophets tell us about the covenant:

6 And thou shalt say to the rebellious, even to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O ye house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations,7 In that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it, even my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, andthey have broken my covenant because of all your abominations. (Ezekiel 44:6-7)

Continuing in the Revelation passage, we note that the name of the woman is “MOTHER OF …ABOMINATIONS.” This name tells us she is the ‘mother’ of abominations — that is, she gives birth to the practice of abominations. We will recall that this ‘mother’ is a religion that appears to its followers be the embodiment of Truth. But because of the mother’s ‘fornication’ with heathen idolatries, which are falsehoods, she gives birth to a ‘child’ that is actually a mixture of truth and falsehood, and thus is not a part of EL ELYON Covenant.
The practice of keeping and celebrating falsehoods or ‘Lies’ by the followers of this ‘child’ religion are the ‘abominations’ practiced by those followers. Let’s now identify these abominations.

The Abominations Identified

These are actions or practices of the people, either in thought or in deed, and include dishonesty, pride, lying lips, idolatry, and so forth. These are all open and obvious, so we will not deal with these in this writing. We will instead focus on those not easily seen, so more likely to prevent multitudes from entering into the City of the King, and into their inheritance.

Scripture Reveals the Source of Hidden Abominations

For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. (Ephesians 5:5-6)

In the above passage we note two features. First, we have seen from other Scriptures that a person can become ‘abominable’ by the uncleanness/ defilement of disobedience (Lev 11:43; Lev 20:25; Ezra 9:11).” Gone witness then!!!” Here in our Ephesians passage, we see the same message we saw given above in Revelation 21:7-8. We see the uncleanness/ defilement is because of being disobedient Children as well.
some religious practices:

3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. (Isaiah 66:3)

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. (Proverbs 15:8).

He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law(‘Torah’), even his prayer shall be abomination. (Prov 28:9)

In the above Proverbs passage, we see from the Hebrew word definitions, that the wicked are those whose practices are unrighteous, who have departed from the Way, and are crooked in reference to being a “DO-er” of Torah. The upright are those whose practices are righteous, and straight or upright, and are in the Way, as to being a “DO-er” of Torah. If our ear refuses to hear (hearken to, obey) ABBA’S instructions in Torah, even our prayer becomes an abomination to Him. We glean from this that we might be wise to hear (hearken to, obey)The Most High’s Torah, indeed all of His Word, regarding our religious practices. If our ear refuses to hear (hearken to, obey) Abba's instructions in Torah, even our prayer becomes an abomination to Him. We glean from this that we might be wise to hear (hearken to, obey) the Most High's Torah, indeed all of His Word, regarding our religious practices.

Let’s notice another principle:

And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not. (Leviticus 10:1)

And Nadab and Abihudied before the LORD,when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office in the sight of Aaron their father. (Numbers 3:4)

And Nadab and Abihudied, when they offered strange fire before the LORD. (Numbers 26:61)
And when they came to Nachon’s threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it. 7 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God. (2 Samuel 6:6-7)

In the above passages, we see one unified principle. In matters of worship commanded by the Most High, to perform something “not commanded” is considered “strange fire”

So we glean the principle that voluntary actions in matters of worship, when not commanded by the Most High, is the same as outright disobedience to the Most High, and results in death.
Now let’s look at one final principle, seen in the following passage:

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. (Titus 1:16)

In the above passage, we see that it is possible to say(and really believe it to be true) that we know the Most High; but at the same time deny the Most High in our works and actions, and this would include our religious actions or practices. And here again in this passage, as in other Scriptures, we see the principle linking being abominable with being disobedient. But here we see an added bit of information — that because of the disobedience, even what is considered ‘every good work’ is reprobate — that is, not proved, found to be unfit, and rejected by the Most High, because it was not done in obedience to His Word. From this passage we glean the principle, that when we are disobedient to the words of the Most High, we deny Him; and what we may think are good works, are actually abominations, if they are not works of obedience to Scripture.

Hidden Abominations: Exposed to the Light

Because Believers today have turned their ear away from hearing (hearkening to, and obeying) the Law (Torah), they have replaced obedience to the Scriptures with their own religious ‘good works’ or practices, which are ‘Strange fire’ before the Most High, and so are abomination to Him.
Here is a short list of abominations widely-practiced by believers today, considered ‘strange fire’ because they are religious practices not commanded by the Most High. But because they are substitutes for what has been commanded in Scripture, their practice is actually idolatry, and abomination.

1. Easter – An Ancient Pagan Spring Fertility Festival--The Pagan Origin Of Easter – by David J. Meyer
2. Christmas – An Ancient Pagan Celebration of the Winter Solstice--The Origin Of Christmas – by David J. Meyer

Not only are Easter and christ-mass both of pagan origin, mixed with a little truth, they are also religious observances and celebrations “not commanded by the Most High.” According to Scripture, they are ‘abominations.’ Now recall the warning we saw above in Revelation 21:27, that “those who work (make, bring forth, commit, produce, celebrate, keep, perform) abomination, or (‘even’) a lie (falsehood, deception)” will not enter in to the City of the King. The day they are observed should be another clue. Yahushua was not born on 25 December, but on the first day of the 7th Biblical month, the Feast of Trumpets. The christ-mass celebration is therefore not a celebration of His birth. The existence of that one lie should be evident to most.
The Easter celebration likewise, does not observe the Resurrection of Yahushua, for Easter is not observed on Yahushua’s actual Resurrection day, but on a day designated by men, different from the Scriptural day of His resurrection, the Feast of Firstfruits. This too is another lie that is evident.

Conclusion

If we address only these two religious activities, we cover much of the abominations and disobedience preventing multitudes of Believers from entering their inheritance, unless they repent. When we perform these celebrations (and others mentioned in other writings), we are actually in disobedience to the Scriptures, and we thus become unclean, and are an abomination to the Most High, until we choose to repent, and stop our disobedience

These are biblical. The Feast of Yom Teruah, also called the Feast of Shouting and the Feast of Trumpets, was the day in which Messiah was born. As the first day of the Fall Feasts of the Most High, the birth of Messiah was indeed a day of shouting, and we are to observe this day as a memorial (Lev 23:24).

The Feast of Passover was the day of the death of Messiah. That year, it was three days and three nights later, that the Feast of Firstfruits marked the day of Yahushua’s Resurrection, which we are told to observe (Lev 23:5,10).

Men Of Torah Day--The Second Commandment, Things Your Pastor Never Taught You!

Exodus 20

We are walking in today--Men Of Torah Day--The Second Commandment, Things Your Pastor Never Taught You!

Witness idol throughout the Bible: H457 'eliyl--of nought, good for nothing, worthless, a divination, of false gods

Psalm 106:36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.

Torah: Leviticus 19:4, 26:1
Prophets: Isaiah 2:8, 2:18, 2:20, 2:20, 19:1; Jeremiah 14:14; Ezekiel 30:13; Habakkuk 2:18; Zechariah 11:17
Writings: 1 Chronicles 16:26; Job 13:4; Psalm 96:5, 97:7

Ezekiel 14:7 For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the Lord will answer him by myself:
As Bible Believers and as Parents, we need to raise our children according to the Faith of the Most High, and not according to the ways of the world, and certainly not under the influence of devils. When the Most High commanded His people that “no graven images” were to be made, acquired, or kept, He was not being cruel and heartless. He knew the great harm these objects could do to His people. Notice what we are told in the Second Commandment:
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: (Exodus 20:4)
In the above verse, the Hebrew word ‘asah’ is Strong’s number , and means “make, acquire, keep, use, prepare, work, execute, accomplish, fashion,” and a host of other meanings, depending on context. From this word we get the idea that graven images are “off-limits” to the Most High’s children, in every way. Since this is one of the greatest sources of problems between the Most High and His people, we will look at what a graven image is.

What Is A Graven Image?

Man is always trying to justify his own actions by attempting to re-define Bible words and meanings. Man would define a Graven Image or “idol” as something that man would physically “bow down” to. the Most High, on the other hand, is very specific about His definition:
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: (Exodus 20:4)
Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female, The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air, The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth: (Deuteronomy 4:16-18)
Notice that the Most High’s definition of a graven image in the above verses is not “dependent” on what a man does, or does not do, with that object. In the above Scripture passages, the Most High makes no distinction between an object that is worshiped, and one that is not worshiped. These are simply Graven Images by the Most High’s definition.
The Most High’s definition is simply based on a clear explanation of being “an image or likeness” of a living creature, as given in general in the Exodus verse, and in greater detail in Deuteronomy, as we see above. The term “likeness” narrows it down to a 3-dimensional object, since a 2-dimensional object bears no likeness to a 3-dimensional object.
Examples of these objects today are abundant, and can be in the form of “art” objects or figurines in the likeness of people, animals, or angels. They can likewise take the form of stuffed animals and other toys; and also brass eagles, carved birds, fish, horses, and other animals as found in homes and offices; and ceramic sun and moon objects, carved and cast statues, statuettes, African and other native masks, and many others. We will look at what Scripture reveals about the great danger to our wellbeing, and to the wellbeing of our families, as a result of having these items.
Why Do Objects Attract?

Visible, physical objects often appeal to the senses, delight the flesh, and have great attraction to man’s soulish realm. However, we need to be cautious, and realize that such objects can carry with them unseen spiritual realities that can actually bring a curse to the one who has the object in his home or office. Notice what the Most High warns us about:
Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. (Deuteronomy 7:26)
It is clear throughout Scripture that graven images and idols were among the many forms of “abominations” that were off-limits to the Most High’s people. We see in the above passage that if an abomination were to be brought into our place of habitation, whether home or office, it will put the same curse upon us, that that object is under.
We have been clearly warned. These are not simply figurines, art objects, or “toys,” as the world sees them. In the spiritual realm, these objects are abominations, and are the equivalent of spiritual “dog dung.” They not only “stink,” but they attract spiritual “flies” or demons, and the curses that go along with the demons. Do we want our homes full of these demons? It is these demons that can cause incurable sicknesses, and all types of “troubles” in the home, which take the form of curses.
Bible-Believing families should be shocked to learn these things that their Pastors and Leaders never told them, but that affect our lives so greatly. We should check our homes for any objects that fit the Scriptural definitions, and we ought to destroy them, or burn them, or throw them out immediately!
“Housecleaning” is what we call getting rid of anything in our homes that may cause demonic problems. We must look throughout our homes, and pray diligently, seeking the Most High’s guidance about any items that need to be destroyed — items that are graven images by the Bible definition, and are idols or abominations in the Most High’s eyes. This covers all statues, figurines, dolls, stuffed animals, and the like. There comes a great freedom and healing in all areas of our home — in the health of our bodies, in our emotional wellbeing, and in the peace in our home — when we begin to be obedient to the Second Commandment.
The Second Commandment says to NOT MAKE or ACQUIRE a graven image of any living being. the Most High knew if we were to make them or have them, we would become attached to them, and that is a form of worshiping them. Through our natural sentimentality toward an object, we can create an attachment to that object, and an eventual stronghold of idolatry.
Besides this, having something in our home that the Most High has told us NOT TO MAKE or ACQUIRE is disobedience. The Most High knows that having forbidden graven images leads to idolatry.
Our disobedience becomes idolatry when we practice ‘our own understanding’ of the Scriptures, rather than what the Scriptures actually say. Our own understanding becomes an idol, when it becomes a substitute for the Most High’s Word. Thus many Believers today are unknowingly practicing idolatry, when they make or have a forbidden object, yet do not ‘bow down’ to it.
Simply having these things in our homes give the demons a “legal right” to enter our homes, and to remain, until we repent of all disobedience! This is the source of much sorrow today in homes and families of otherwise faithful Believers. They are simply ignorant of the importance of obedience to the Second Commandment!
In Romans 1:25, the Scripture points out that there are MANY who change the truth of the Most High into a LIE, and by doing so they worship and serve a creature more than the Creator. Think about it. If Yahshua came to your door and said, “Get rid of your carved images,” could you readily discard them and trash them? Would you hesitate, aching over the value and sentiment that they represented and held to you?
The Family Toybox

The Holy Spirit has revealed a tactic of the enemy against our children. This attack is presented in the form of dolls, stuffed animal toys, and figures of toy soldiers, heroes, monsters, and objects imitating other “life forms,” whether real or imaginary. These are graven images by the Most High’s definition!
As parents, we desire the obedience of our children. So it is with the Most High. He desires the trusting obedience of His children. Are you one of His children? He has told you very simply, “to obey is better.” (1 Sam.15:22) Those who love their heavenly Father, are those who will obey Him.
What Are Dolls?

Most parents like to give their daughters “dolls” to play with. But what are dolls? Have we ever looked at the history of dolls?
Let’s look at this example. One encyclopedia says that the origin of dolls is witchcraft and magic; in other words — “demonic.” In many early societies, only witch doctors or medicine men were allowed to handle them, because of their close association with demonic influence and curses. To this day, multitudes of idol (demon) worshippers use “dolls” in pagan religious ceremonies.
The dictionary gives one definition of a doll as “a small carved or molded figure that served as a cult object or representation of a nursery story, cartoon, or puppet character.” Much of the history of dolls includes the reputation of dolls as being used to bring “good luck” to their owners. Children were not allowed to touch the dolls, because they were thought to have magical powers.
These “Good luck” dolls were supposed to bring rain or food when there was a desperate need. Sometimes it was believed that such dolls could make goats give more milk or could help win wars. Some thought dolls could make sick people become well. In voodoo practice, dolls are supposed to bring curses on people, and also to make healthy people become sick. Since they are accursed by the Most High, they actually can and do bring these and other bizarre results.
Some primitive tribes would make wooden dolls that looked like ugly elves. They were supposed to frighten people. When an Egyptian died, dolls would be buried with the dead person, to become friends and servants for him in the spirit world.
Every time the Israelites started worshiping idols, the Most High sent them into captivity and bondage as punishment. Phrases such as, “lest you corrupt yourselves,” (Deut. 4:16); “the anger of the LORD burned against Israel,” (Jud 3:7); “it is abomination,” (Deut 7:25,26); “the LORD thy God hateth,” (Deut 16:22); “provoked him to anger,” (Ps 78:58); and “moved him to jealousy,” (Ps 78:58) — all these phrases are associated with graven (carved) images.
Homes Under A Curse

Today many homes of Bible Believers are under a curse, and the inhabitants are not even aware of it. The Proverbs tell us that the curse does not come without a cause (Prov 26:2). The moment we bring a forbidden object into our house or building, we establish a “legal” cause for a curse to come into that realm of our authority.
As a result, problems and difficulties that arise with your children or other inhabitants, in the form of unusual discipline problems, out-of-the-ordinary or chronic sickness, accidents, emotional problems, and many others, may be likely caused by an accursed object in the home. Parents and children alike may need DELIVERANCE from the demonic influence, and from the curse of idolatry of these graven images (formed, carved, fashioned images).
Enemy Strongholds In Our Homes

Objects, including some that are not graven images of living things, can become enemy strongholds; and it is because of these strongholds, that many of the Most High’s people are not able to stand before their enemies (Josh 7:11-12; Jud 2:14-17). These can be in the form of a trinket, jewelry, or sentimental object, received as a gift or memento, or inherited from someone previously involved in occult practices of any kind, as far back as the third and fourth generation (Deut 5:9). Having such objects give the demons the “legal right” to remain.
These strongholds must be removed from the house or building. The parents must repent, by destroying the object. If possible, it should be burned, so that no one else may find or retrieve the object, and become accursed likewise.
Once the “legal” right to remain has been removed from the house, an “eviction” must take place, by commanding these spiritual “flies” or demons, in the name of Yahshua Messiah, to leave, and never return.
Acknowledging to the Most High our sin of idolatry is an important step in gaining deliverance from demonic strongholds. A simple confession and renouncing of our sin, and coming out of agreement with idolatry, and coming into agreement with the Most High, is often the key to freedom. Both children and parents may need to do this.
It is our repentance and obedience that restores our household and our authority in Yahshua. Once we are restored, we can then exercise our authority in the name of Yahshua. We may then command the demons to leave, and break the curse.
Demons know exactly when someone has authority, and when they do not. This is not a game; and a flippant attitude may create a problem seven times worse than before (Matt 12:43-45). It is safe to first remove the object, then through prayer, receive direction on any further steps to be taken.
If these steps do not result in a sense of peace and freedom, then you may need to seek the help of others. There are many deliverance ministries today that have a heart to help those who are seeking freedom from demonic strongholds.
Idols of the Heart

One consequence of having de jure idols (idols by legal definition only) is that they later become de facto idols, or idols of the heart. Are we attached in any way to our collection of graven images — our figurines, dolls, or toys? Our flesh will scream out against obedience to the Second Commandment. Nevertheless, this is the sin of idolatry, which is a stronghold in many lives, and is forbidden. Idolatry manifests itself in many ways. First, let’s look at what Scripture tells us about idols and idolatry:
Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. (1 Corinthians 10:14)
Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. (1 John 5:21)
Beloved, we are to “flee” from idols, and from idolatry. In the New Testament times, most knew what idols and idolatry were. It is only the gentiles, the heathen, that had no background in the Commandments of Scripture, and were ignorant.
Today there are multitudes of Believing ones, who likewise are ignorant of the commandments in Scripture, and the effects of disobedience. Their Pastors and Leaders have simply not told them anything about this Truth of Scripture, because it would not “fit into” the theology they learned from their Theological Seminaries and Bible Schools.
Notice what else the Most High tells us about idolatry:
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry ('teraphim’ = “household images”). Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. (1 Samuel 15:23)

This example spoken to Saul, reveals the same result He will have for us today, if we refuse to allow “Messiah-in-us” to walk in obedience to the Second Commandment, just as He did when He walked the earth 2,000 years ago in His own body.

The Most High does not need us to have or to use any graven images, idols, or statues of any kind to sell and promote His Kingdom. All that is required is walking in the Truth of the Bible. Our simple obedience to the true teachings of the Word of the Most High will result in signs, wonders, and miracles following. Our Saviour said that if you do not believe Me, then believe My miracles. He brought deliverance and set the captives free.

“Taste and see” the goodness of the Most High, when you begin to obey the Second Commandment. He will give us victory over demonic strongholds, and the peace that surpasses our ability to understand how great it is. These are blessings that the disobedient, and those of the world, can never taste.

Conclusion

The world’s way of raising children is NOT the Most High’s way. Love your children the way the Most High wants you to love them. Remove the graven images from their toy box, and from their rooms, and from your home — and deliver them out of the hand of the enemy. Repent of your lack of knowledge of the Most High’s Word, and love your children enough to remove the curses that continue to come upon them, simply because we as parents have been as disobedient children of the Most High (Eph 5:5-6; Col 3:5-6).

Any type of collection of figurines, art objects, dolls, toys, or any other likeness of living things (such as owls and frogs especially, which are stated as abominations to the Most High), unicorns, birds, elephants, mice, fish, bears, soldiers — any object which depicts one of the Most High’s created living beings, as well as a likeness of the heavenly bodies — are graven images, and are idols.
The Most High strictly forbids the MAKING or ACQUIRING of them. You may have just one or two of these items in your home or office, but only one is just as deadly as a whole collection.
Because of idols, many of the Most High’s people become deceived, and thus they prevent themselves from making progress and attaining victory in many “little” ways in their walk with the Most High. Refusing to “clean out” the home of graven images causes a blockage in their progress, therefore they begin to lack the willingness to “do what it takes” to grow and mature further — to become a mighty overcomer. This deception often begins with the thought, “Oh, the Most High knows my heart; He knows I love Him, and these objects are insignificant, and nothing to concern myself over.”

Pastors, do you experience a lack of prayer results, or perceive a blockage in your ministry? Perhaps you might want to consider whether you have unknowingly allowed forbidden objects into your home or office.

Many Bible Believers have given testimony of deliverance from curses brought on by these objects. Many have testified of what these objects can do, and of the curses they bring on individuals and entire households — until they begin to walk in obedience to the Second Commandment.
