We are walking in today: Testimony Tuesday--So Glad I Made It!

Deuteronomy 2:1-7; Revelation 12:11; Malachi 4:6; Luke 1:17; Malachi 4:2; Matthew 19:23-30; Isaiah 61:1-3; Luke 4:16-19; Deuteronomy 33:25

We are walking in today:  Testimony Tuesday--So Glad I Made It!

Deuteronomy 2:1-7 1 Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the Lord spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days. 2 And the Lord spake unto me, saying, 3 Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward. 4 And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: 5 Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession. 6 Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink. 7 For the Lord thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the Lord thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

Isaiah 61:1-3 (CJB)

1 The Spirit of Adonai Elohim is upon me,
because Adonai has anointed me
to announce good news to the poor.
He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted;
to proclaim freedom to the captives,
to let out into light those bound in the dark;
2 to proclaim the year of the favor of Adonai
and the day of vengeance of our God;
to comfort all who mourn,
3 yes, provide for those in Tziyon who mourn,
giving them garlands instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
a cloak of praise instead of a heavy spirit,
so that they will be called oaks of righteousness
planted by Adonai, in which he takes pride.

Praise His holy name, wonderful and righteous is He!  Fiveamprayer, 40 years in the wilderness is over, Fiveamprayer!  Thank You Adonai for all that You have done for us in 2013!  You brought us out of darkeness into Your marvellous light!  How awesome, mighty and wonder You are!  Praise His name!  Thank You for bringing us out in Your perfect timing.  Bless the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob!  How Elohim has provided, protected and healed us in 2013, and as we cross over into 2014, greater works we shall do!  To hear this again click here.

Grace, Reflection and Overview

Genesis 6:8; Exodus 34:6-7; John 10:30; Deuteronomy 6:4-6

We are walking in today:  Grace, Reflection and Overview

Thank you Pastor Wagner for bringing this overview and reflection of the book by Rabbi Ralph Messer, Torah: Law or GraceFiveamprayer, what kind of Bible did Jesus Christ, the Son of David have?  Was it an King James Bible or Catholic?  No, He had the Torah.  It is unfortunate that the word Torah was translated as law when it is actually teaching and instruction.  The Torah is essentially the first 5 books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.  Also known as the Pentateuch.  What is often referred to the as the Old Testament is the Tanakh, which includes the Torah, the Nevi'um (the major and minor prophets) and the Ketuvim (the writings--Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes...)  The first time that grace is seen in the Bible is Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.  Then we have Adonai telling us His characteristics in Exodus 34:6-7 6 And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, 7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.  So how did we get to this position?  That the Lord God of the Tanakh, did not show grace--when the first scripture that tells that grace was found in the eyes of the Lord God--Genesis 6:8.  Who gave us the idea that He would even appear to be against the Merciful Savior of Yeshua found in the New Testament or accurately said, the Brit Chadashah?  For we have from the mouth of Jesus Christ of Nazareth--John 10:30 I and my Father are one.  So how can Yahweh be against Yeshua?  They are the same, they are One! Deuteronomy 6:4-6 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:  5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: We must know what is found in His word!  Fiveamprayer, have faith to believe the truth!

Weekend Meditation--The New Out Of The Old!

Jeremiah 10:10; Romans 3; Hebrews 5:12

We are walking in today:  Weekend Meditation--The New Out Of The Old!

Here are the next 10 principles of the Lord God Almighty. This arrangement of the 613 principles, the law of our Lord God Almighty, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is from the book by Rabbi Ralph Messer, Torah: Law Or Grace? Kingdom Principles For Kingdom Living. This book can be ordered online here or in the store if you are in the Denver area here.

The Third Commandment Exodus 20:7
Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

257. Anything within the dwelling of a corpse shall be contaminated for seven days --Numbers 19:14 This is the law, when a man dieth in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.
258. You shall purify one who touches a dead body with the water of sprinkling --Numbers 19:13, 21 13 Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him. 21 And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.
259. You shall not test the Lord your God --Deuteronomy 6:16 Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.
260. You shall not intermarry with the seven Canaanite nations --Deuteronomy 7:3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
261. You shall not worship or bring offerings as the Canaanite nations did --Deuteronomy 12:4 Ye shall not do so unto the Lord your God.
262. You may eat your redeemed animal offerings --Deuteronomy 12:15 Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.
263. You may eat from your cattle and flocks --Deuteronomy 12:21 If the place which the Lord thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the Lord hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
264. You shall not eat the blood, the life with the meat --Deuteronomy 12:23 Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.
265. You shall not cut your flesh for a dead person --Deuteronomy 14:1 Ye are the children of the Lord your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
266. You shall not make a bald spot between your eyes for a dead person --Deuteronomy 14:1

Jeremiah 10:10 10 But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.  Fiveamprayer we have to stand on, Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.  Will we stand on God being true and every man a liar?  Much of  New Testement or rather the Brit Chadacha is also found in the Old Testament, the Tanakh.  We may not really be aware of this due to us not really studying the the Tanakh.  Hebrews 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meatSo what are the the first principles?  What is it that we are missing that Paul has to come to warn and correct us about?  To hear this again click here.

Reap What We Sow, More Than We Sow, Later Than We Sow

Galatians 6:1-7, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Matthew 13:23, Hosea 8:7, Leviticus 10:1, 2 Kings 2, Mark 10, Job 11, Proverbs 14, Judges 16, Isaiah 28:28, Ephesians 29:32, James 3:6-10, Proverbs 28:9

We are walking in today:  Reap What We Sow, More Than We Sow, Later Than We Sow

We have Minister Tracy giving us this timely word.  Fiveamprayer we must understand this truth about the Lord God Almighty--He cannot be mocked!  His Law cannot be changed--the law affects everyone, family, friends, and work! It is both a warning and encouragement. We reap what we sow, more than we sow, and later than we sow. This is a principle that is irrevocable and cannot change. It is the law of life for believers and non-believers, it applies to everyone! We are deceived by not knowing the truth. People do not think what they do, will not come back on them. We all have to pay a price for what we do. To mock God the father of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob is to turn up ones noise up at Him. Remember The Almighty God is holy. We need to be hearers and doers of His word. We have to be careful in what we do and say. Do not be weary in well doing. You will reap the harvest, if you faint not! Hallelujah and Glory to His name!!  To hear more of this message click here.

Repairers Of The Breach!

Isaiah 58, Nehemiah 1:3, 4:6-10

We are walking in today:  Repairers Of The Breach!
Praise the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for sending us a message through Pastor Redding this morning.  Fiveamprayer we have to be aware of the breach that has happened and continues to happen.  Are there anyone that will build up the walls?  Are there any who will stand for the truth?  Can an unwavering person be found that will not be moved off of the righteous and holy word of Adonai?  Wake up there are crumbling walls and the enemy is able to move about freely.  We must stand on and only give out the infallible word of the righteous and holy Lord God Almighty!  Only His word will stand but will you stand for His word?!  When there is a security issue there needs to be someone who will come to repair and build up with the correct materials.  Putting a bandage on a wound that needs stitches does very little to stop the blood flow.  Will we take the correction and make the necessary changes for true and lasting healing and health?  To hear more on this click here.

Testimony Tuesday--You Have To Believe To See

Revelation 12:11, Psalm 27:13; Hebrews 4:12, Matthew 6:8, John 14; John 18:37

We are walking in today:  Testimony Tuesday--You Have To Believe To See

Psalm 27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Tell someone about the promises of the Lord God, which you are standing on and waiting to be made manifest! For His word will come to pass, stand in expectation for it! Hallelujah! Praise Him! He is the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob!  His teaching and instruction, His principles, His statues and ordinances--His Torah! Thank You Yahweh! Thank You for teaching us to walk in obedience to Your good law--for every kingdom and land has laws to protect and guide the people according to the heart and mind of the King!
John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. Thank You Yeshua for coming into this world, bearing witness to the truth!  Thank the Lord God for being there for you!! Tell somebody how thankful you are and what He has done for you!! He’s a provider!! He will open up the windows of Heaven and pour out blessings that you don’t have room enough to receive!! Thank Him for being faithful when you weren’t faithful to Him!! Tell them how He was there for you! Thank Him for being a keeper, a comforter, a mediator, an intercessor, a healer, a burden carrier, a deliverer, a provider, a restorer!! He never sleeps nor slumbers!! Be thankful that He has been there for you and bless His holy Name!! Hallelujah and Glory to His name!!  To hear this again click here.

Has The Old Covenant Vanished?

Jeremiah 31:31-34, Hebrews 8:7-13, Exodus 24:4-8, Deuteronomy 1:2, Hebrews 6:8, Numbers 23:19, Psalms 105:6-11, Malachi 3:6, Hebrew 13:8, Acts 10:34, Exodus 12:49, Numbers 15:16, Psalms 1, Isaiah 58, Psalms 33:40, Jeremiah 10:2-6

We are walking in today:Has The Old Covenant Vanished?

When you stand in the 613 Principles, you begin to walk in truth, and walk in blessings. You will begin to see your own life change. We can no longer blame each other for what is going on in each other’s lives!  Deuteronomy 28 teaches us about the blessing and curses of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We have many situations in our lives because we do not line up with the Torah, which gives us an understanding of the Lord God, and to walk before Him daily. If the truth is being told, would you believe it?  It time to take off the old man and bring in the new!  It’s time for a transformation, new mindset, restoral, and renewal! The word should be correcting you because the word is used for correction! In all your getting, get an understanding.  Fiveamprayer, I put a challenge out to you this morning to do your research on Christmas!  Elohim has a question for us  --If I Told You The Truth, Would You Believe It?  Will we actually believe the truth or remain in the lie? The time is here--we can no longer mix and blend His holy and righteous word with anything else!!  Hallelujah and Glory to His name!  To here more click here.

Weekend Meditation--There Is No Freedom Without The Law!

We are walking in today:  Weekend Meditation--There Is No Freedom Without The Law!

Proverbs 29:18 (NKJV) Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law.

247. The Nazir shall not drink vinegar of wine nor aged wine --Numbers 6:3
He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.
248. The Nazir shall not drink anything in which grapes have been steeped --Numbers 6:3
249. The Nazir shall not eat fresh or dried grapes --Numbers 6:3
250. The Nazir shall not eat anything made from wine grapes, even the pips or the skin --Numbers 6:4 All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk.

251. The Nazir shall not shave his hair during his vow --Numbers 6:5 All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the Lord, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.

252. The Nazir shall let his hair grow during his vow --Numbers 6:5

253. The Nazir shall not become unclean for the dead
  --Numbers 6:6
All the days that he separateth himself unto the Lord he shall come at no dead body.

254. The Nasir shall not contaminate himself
for the death of a close relative --Numbers 6:7
He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die: because the consecration of his God is upon his head.

255. The Nazir shall shave his hair and burn it on the fire of the Altar upon completing his vow --Numbers 6:18
And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings.

256. You shall prepare the ashes of the red heifer used in ritual purification --Numbers 19:2-9
2 This is the ordinance of the law which the Lord hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke: 3 And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face: 4 And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times: 5 And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn: 6 And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer. 7 Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even. 8 And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even. 9 And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.

It is time out for only reading the section or portion of the scripture that we like or see the benefit in!!  We must come to know and understand that to obtain the good or the benefit it is in the entirety of His word.
Fiveamprayer, Adonai comes to give us more teaching on His law!  Where there is no law there is no freedom!  How can we declare all of this freedom without the law?  All of this time that we have spent outside of the law with no results nor benefits are we getting the picture that this idea of freedom without the law is actually lawlessness?  How do you keep chaos at bay?  Where are the boundaries of what is good and righteous?  How are we to determine that which Elohim would have us to do?  The answer is in His Torah!  His teaching and instructions, His principles, His ordinances and statutes--God's Law!  Every king has laws for his land to govern the people who live there.  So the question may be also where is it that you live?  Let us keep these questions in mind when listening to the call from this morning.  For more study read this.  To listen again click here.

Reflections

Exodus 12:14-24,13:5-16; Leviticus 23; John 8:32; Acts 17:30-31; 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12; 2 Corinthians 13:8, 13:1-10; Matthew 19:17; John 12:42-50

We are walking in today:  Reflections

Thank You Avinu Malkeinu for sending your vessel to teach us today!  Thank you Pastor Wagner for your obedience.  Thank You Yahweh for giving us a convergence of a holiday with Your feast of dedication--Chanukah and Thanksgiving or rather Thanksgivukkua!  Praise the Lord God Almighty for giving us a time to thank Elohim for our natural provision in abundance and then in celebrating Chanukah of our spiritual provision and the stand against assimilation and to find His provision in obedience (the 1 jar of oil lasting 8 days until new oil would be ready)!  Fiveamprayer take time out to research the scriptures above.  We find in Exodus 12:14 in Strong's Concordance the definition of ordinance strongs # H2708 chuqqah--statute, ordinance, limit, enactment, something prescribed and forever strongs # H5759 olam--everlasting, perpetual, continuous, for eternity these words are used in describing the feast days of Adonai.  Certainly with this type of language for these observances have not passed , nor are they expired!  To hear this again click here.

Weekend Meditation--They Have Made Void Thy Law!

Psalm 119:125-142

We are walking in today: Weekend Meditation--They Have Made Void Thy Law!

This book can be ordered online here or in the store if you are in the Denver area here

227. 231. A zav shall bring the prescribed offering on the eighth day of his purification --Leviticus 15:13-15 13 And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean. 14 And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the Lord unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, an give them unto the priest: 15 And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord for his issue.
232. A man who has a discharge of semen shall immerse his flesh in water and remain contaminated until evening --Leviticus 15:16 And if any man's seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.

235. A zavah shall bring the prescribed offering on the eighth day of her purification --Leviticus 15:28-29 28 But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean. 29 And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

236. You shall pour out the blood of the clean animal or bird and cover it with earth --Leviticus 17:13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.

We have to stand on the 613 principles, because they have made void “Thy” law. There was a time during David’s reign when there was great contempt made for God’s law. He didn’t allow this contempt to influence Him. He beheld the law the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and quickened his zeal, earnestness, and devotion and elevated the standar
d of the righteousness of God. From age to age and generation to generation there has been a growing disrespect and contempt for the law of our Lord God Almighty. As we come closer to the end of the world’s history, the Christian and secular world seem to be joined hand in hand in this growing contempt. Too often the word of Satan is being held above the Word of God. Yeshua died so that human families might be brought back to their alliance with God. He is our redemption plan! Christ’s righteousness becomes our righteousness if we sustain a living connection with Him! A time is coming when the law of God, is in a special sense, to become void in our land. Wake up and pay attention!! They are trying to make God’s law void!! Don’t be influenced by the contempt!! Satan wants to erase God’s principle from your memory!! We can’t conform to this world. We have to take a stand and we have to be transformed by the renewing of our minds!! Choose who you will to serve!! If you love the Lord, keep His commands and nothing, nothing, nothing will separate you from His love!! Seek His face and turn from your wicked ways! Be unmovable!! His word is true!! Hallelujah and Glory to His Name!!!! To hear this again click here.

Are You Living a Form of Godliness?

Matthew 25:1-13; John 14:3; Matthew 25:32-40; Proverbs 3; Psalm 34:15, 145:18-19, John 14:6,10:9

We are walking in today:  Are You Living a Form of Godliness?

Are you wise or are you foolish? In light of Christ returning at an unexpected and unknown time, we must persevere in faith so that when the day and hour arrives, we will be received by our coming Lord. If we are not in a personal relationship with Adonai when He returns, we’ll be excluded from His presence and kingdom. What makes the foolish different from the wise is that the foolish doesn’t recognize His imminent return. Yeshua indicates that many in the church will be unprepared and He’s not waiting for everyone to get prepared. We must be faithful, watchful, and always prepared until He returns. Get prepared today. Make sure that you are living according to His laws and principles. He will comfort you and give you peace. He has no limitations! There is no limit to His wisdom, power, love, and mercy and His eyes are upon the righteous! Seek Him for yourself! Do be foolish! Accept His love and salvation today and be ready for His return! Amen! To hear this again click here.

It Will Come To Pass!

Habakkuk 2:3; 1 Samuel 4:16-22; Exodus 2; 1 Peter 2:9;

We are walking in today:  It Will Come To Pass!
Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Thank You Lord God Almighty for sending Your servant, Pastor Redding to teach on Adonai's timing in this appointed season--Hanukkah!  Amen and praise His holy name!  This book is in a time when Judah was at war with Syria and in the midst of a fallen government, we find the prophet, Habakkuk.

 Three Things That Destroy Dreams

-Temporary Circumstances 1 Samuel 4:16-22 Phineas' wife after hearing that the Philistines took the ark, her husband and father had died, named her child that she was pregnant with Ichabod, which means the glory of God has departed from Israel.  Don't allow a temporary situation move you off of your course.
-Divine Delays Exodus 2 This can result when we don't wait on the Lord and instead trust in our own abilities--this we see this with Moses.   He to enters the wilderness, after trying to save one of the slaves of Israel, and from his time in the wilderness at God's perfect planning he returns to deliver out the whole nation of Israel!  Hold on in the wait, this is for a purpose and will happen in His perfect season.
-False Evidence Genesis 37 Joseph was called a dreamer and his dad made him a coat of many colors. His brothers hated him and sought to destroy him and placed him in a pit.  In the bible, the pits were dug to make wells or to trap animals.  Now when those pits would be filled by rain water it would make if very difficult to get out of the pit.  As we continue reading, Joesph gets out of the pit--so that was not the end of him!
Wait on Elohim to deliver you out in His appointed time! Fiveamprayer we are not to give up nor be in despair, trust and rely in the only One worthy of absolute trust!  The God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob!  We have to be there for each other to pull each other out by our prayers, praise and worship.  We have to learn to reach out for others that can get us out of the pit! Fiveamprayer, Elohim has been coming to this line to teach us and give us understanding that this is about kingdom!  We are to hold on to Adonai's hand and His word!  He is our King and decrees a thing!  Remember the reputation of a king is in how his people are treated, do not allow anything to steal from the dreams that He has given you!  Don't allow false evidence appearing real--to sway you, let the scales fall off of your eyes and hold to His word, it will come to pass!  This is how Habakkuk reads in the Complete Jewish Bible: For the vision is meant for its appointed time;it speaks of the end, and it does not lie. It may take a while, but wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay. Our Lord God is our Sustainer and Protector!  He is not a president that has to discuss with a cabinet before making a decision!  Fiveamprayer, we are to hold on to the Lord God while so many are in a tough place, in prayer and reaching out to help your brothers and sisters.  To hear this message again click here.

Testimony Tuesday--I Am STILL Here!!

Isaiah 54:17; Revelation 12:11

We are walking in today:  Testimony Tuesday--I Am STILL Here!!

Share with somebody today how you are still here after every test, trial, and tribulation! Tell them how you walk by faith and not by sight! Tell them how God, the Father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob did not give you a spirit of fear but that of power and love and a sound mind! Explain how you are still here standing on the promises of God! He is a way out of no way. He is the way, the truth, and the light. Tell them how He is not respecter of persons and that if He did it for Abraham, the children of Israel, Job, and you, then He will do it for them!! Tell them how they are blessed and highly favored!! Give Him the glory and give Him the praise!! Tell them how the devil thought that he had you, but you are still here in the name of Yeshua!! Tell them that the struggle won’t last forever. It’s only for a moment. Tell them how our God parted the Red Sea! Tell them how He will part their Red Sea so that they can walk out on dry land! No weapon formed against us will prosper!! He is our Source, our Sustainer, our Shepherd, and EVERYTHING that we need!! Tell somebody how you are STILL here!! Hallelujah and Glory to His Name!!!

Weekend Meditation--The Question Shouldn't Be Is It Hard, Rather Is It True?!

Matthew 4:16, 5:13-19; Psalm 51:6; Leviticus 11:45; Romans 3:4; John 14:15, 21

We are walking in today:  Weekend Meditation--The Question Shouldn't Be Is It Hard, Rather Is It True?!

217. You shall not become contaminated through any teeming thing that creeps on the earth --Leviticus 11:43-44 43 Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby. 44 For I am the Lord your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
218. A woman who gives birth to a male shall be ritually unclean for seven days; for 33 days she shall remain in blood of purification.  If she gives birth to a female, she shall be ritually unclean for fourteen days; for 66 days she shall remain in blood of purification --Leviticus 12:2-5 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean. 3 And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. 4 And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled. 5 But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.
219. A ritually unclean person may not enter the Sanctuary --Leviticus 12:4
And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.

220. A woman shall bring the prescribed offering after childbirth and purification --Leviticus 12:6 And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:

221. The Kohen shall declare the one with tzara's contaminated --Leviticus 13:3
And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.

222. You shall not shave a nesek affliction --Leviticus 13:33
He shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more:

223. You shall clearly distinguish one who has a tzara'as affliction -- Leviticus 13:45
And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.

224. You shall declare a malignant tzara'as of the garment contaminated --Leviticus 13:51
And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.
225. The metzora shall be brought to the Kohen on the day of his purification --Leviticus 14:2 This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:

226. The metzora shall shave off all of his hair, immerse his clothing and immerse his flesh in water --Leviticus 14:9 But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.

Matthew 4:16
The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.Matthew 5:13-19  13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

We must come to understand who Yeshua is speaking to, and sending out.  This charge to go and make disciples is not tied to title but to those who answer His call.  Either He is the Lord of all or He is not the Lord at all!  Choose ye this day, who you will serve!  Fiveamprayer, what is it that you do in obedience that Elohim has given you to do, that your light so shines before men?  Will you follow the leading and guiding of Holy Spirit?  Are the 613 principles of the Lord God true?  Will He walk with you as you accept correction to His teaching and instruction?  Doesn't every loving father walk with their child who is accepting correction to his instructions?  Why would our Heavenly Father be any different?! Psalm 51:6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. He is the standard, we can not put the shortfalls of man's characteristics on a righteous and holy God who is good and perfect in every way!  Will you find that walking according to His good laws that you actually walk in liberty and  freedom?  Are these boundaries for our good and benefit?  Can a loving and protecting Father put in place that which protects and guides us?  Fiveamprayer we have some questions to answer and really consider.  Praise His name!  Only the Lord God Almighty is wonderful, righteous and holy--Leviticus 11:45 For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.   Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.  John 14:15, 21  14 If ye love me, keep my commandments.  21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.  To hear the weekend meditation again click here.

Thankful Thursday--Thank You Lord God For Giving Us Chanukkah!

Psalm 67, 75, 81, 92, 95, 96, 100, 103, 104,105, 109:30-31, 111, 112, 113, 118; Luke 17:11-19

We are walking in today:  Thankful Thursday--Thank You Lord God For Giving Us Chanukkah!

Fiveam family today we are doubly blessed by the Lord God Almighty!  He has brought us into His appointed times in His perfect time!  To be able to experience Thanksgiving and Chanukkah at the same time--that we would come to know the miracle of the dedication of the temple.  How the Jews in history fought to keep in practice the statues and ordinances given to them on Mount Siani.  How the Lord God Almighty did the same with fiveamprayer this very same year!  Bless His holy name!  We are a called apart people, a remnant those who He selected from the very beginning!  Even more are waking up to the truth--Adonai can not and will not be denied!  Let your light so shine!  Below is the information on lighting your Chanukkah candles and the prayers to say over them.  The first night was on 11/27 and only the two remaining prayers are to be said over the candles.  To hear this again click here.

One candle is added to the menorah each night. The first night, you light only the shammus (the one at a different height) and one Chanukkah candle. By the eighth night, you light all of the candles.
Candlelighting Procedure Candles should be added to the menorah from right to left (like Hebrew writing). See animation at right. The shammus candle is lit first. While holding the shammus candle, recite the following blessings. They are usually sung. You can hear the tune by clicking the music icon.

Blessing over Candles
Blessed are you, Lord, our God, sovereign of the universe
Who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us
to light the lights of Chanukkah. (Amen)
Blessing for Chanukkah
Blessed are you, Lord, our God, sovereign of the universe
Who performed miracles for our ancestors in those days at this time
Shehecheyanu (first night only)
Blessed are you, Lord, our God, sovereign of the universe

who has kept us alive, sustained us, and enabled us to reach this season (Amen)
After reciting the blessings, use the shammus to light the Chanukkah candles from right (newest to oldest). See animation at top.
Candles should be left burning until they go out on their own. They must burn for more than half an hour. Standard Chanukkah candles burn for about an hour.

Understanding The Feast Days--Appointed Days of God

We are walking in today:  Understanding The Feast Days--Appointed Days of God

Understanding the Feasts (Appointed Times) of God
In Lev 23:2 God spoke to Moses saying, “Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the
feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations*, even these are my feasts**.
Let us look at the definition of the word translated as “Feast” in the Original Hebrew Manuscripts. Strong’s Hebrew Concordance – H4150 – מועד – mô‛êd – mo-ade’ – appointment
**A better word for Feast” would be “Appointment” as per the original meaning.
God proclaimed that these are
“Holy assemblies*” & “His Appointments**“, in Lev 23:2
***The “Feasts” or “Appointments” of God are mentioned 1st, not in Leviticus, but in Genesis.
Gen 1:14  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
The word
“Seasons” in Gen 1:14 and “Feasts” in Lev 23:2 is the same word in the Original Hebrew Manuscripts, “H4150 – Moed Appointment”.
When Gen 1:14 talks about seasons, we would automatically think of “Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter”. But God is actually talking about His Appointments.
It would be vastly different if we read this verse as:
Gen 1:14  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for appointments“, and for days, and years.

Col 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, appears, you too
will appear to be glorified in fellowship with Him.
There is a pattern of life that God desires for each of us.
It is one full of joy and rest, one that is uninterrupted
communion with God, and in perfect harmony with His will.
It is a life that does not thirst and hunger after the world, that walks
outside of sins, and that transcends all things. Indeed, it is a holy,
powerful and victorious life, and one that knows Gods will and
experiences the enabling grace to walk it out, step by step.
It is the life of the Son. The life which God has ordained
is a life that is hid with Christ in God. It is a place of safety.
Nothing can touch, affect or shake this life. As Christ is unshakable,
so we are unshakable. As Christ transcends all things, we also
transcend all things. As Christ is before God, so we too are before Him.
Let us therefore bring every thought captive to this reality. (2Cor 10:5)
"Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world." (1John 4:4)
The life of the Son perfectly pleases the Father. Christ is our life
“He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne,
as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”  Revelation 3:21
An “overcomer” is one who has risen above any desire for expression of the earthly, and is capable of giving expression to the heavenly. There is a foundational “quality” which relates to our becoming an overcomer.  It is “transparency” in our life experience.  The Lord is calling those who earnestly seek Him, into this experience of becoming transparent in His presence. We are not called to just become “polished” on the outside (religious).  But rather, to be so changed within, that we become the expression of the life of Jesus (spiritual).
Our heart’s desire is that you know the One who loves you with a perfect love. That you might develop a relationship with Him that never stops maturing.  No matter how difficult your life is now, you can submit to the hand of God.  He has made a divine appointment with you today.  If you look back throughout your whole life He has been there.  Whispering sometimes, calling to you to follow Him.  Today His voice is much clearer.  Today is the day that you must begin to follow Him.  In times past you went your own way.  But now the time is short and God wants to prepare you to serve Him.  All you must do is yield to His Holy Spirit.  Present yourself to the Lord to be used by Him.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-15

New International Version (NIV)

1"There is an appointed time for everything.  And there is a time for every event under heaven

2 A time to give birth, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted.
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to tear down, and a time to build up.
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance.
5 A time to throw stones, and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, and a time to shun embracing.
6 A time to search, and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep, and a time to throw away.
7 A time to tear apart, and a time to sew together; A time to be silent, and a time to speak.
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; A time for war, and a time for peace.
9 What profit is there to the worker from that in which he toils?

10 I have seen the task which God has given the sons of men with which to occupy themselves.

11 He has made everything appropriate in its time.  He has also set eternity in their heart, yet so that man will not find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end.

12 I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in one's lifetime;

13 Moreover, that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor, it is the gift of God.

14 I know that everything God does will remain forever; there is nothing to add to it and there is nothing to take from it, for God has
so worked that men should fear Him.

15 That which is has been already, and that which will be has already been, for God seeks what has passed by."

V. 1 - "There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven"
God appoints the times and Seasons
    1. These words are words for every person, in every place, in every circumstance.  God has appointed the times and seasons, the events of our lives, the happy and the sad, the easy and the difficult.
    2. On one hand this can bring worry, but on the other hand, it should bring you hope because we know that God is in control.
    3. God exalts and humbles the same person.  He raises nations up and brings them down.
    4. Even the day of our death has been set.
    5. God is in control.
Sometimes you may wonder about that.  I mean, it is easy to doubt that God has it all together when you look at the world. It doesn't seem to be doing all that well:
Crime is up, abortion is up, homosexuality is on the rise, the nation is in debt, etc.  It can be pretty discouraging.
But, God has got it all under control.
God has a purpose in what He does even if we have a hard time understanding what that purpose is.
      1. Romans 8:28, "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."
We live in a world of Change
The evidence of change is all around us:
Spring becomes Summer.  Summer becomes Fall.  Fall becomes Winter.  Winter becomes Spring.  The young become aged and the new becomes old.
My computer runs slower and my body gets weaker.....
And the times change. The millennium is here.  Wellspring is closing.
Change: You will be wondering about where to go to next year.
      1. But don't worry.  God is in control.
    1. Did you know that change is good.
      1. Change helps you not become grace-potato Christians.
      2. Change helps you learn to adapt to new situations and to grow inside.

    1. Christians go through some of the greatest changes.
      1. First we are blind, dead sinners.  Then we are made alive.
      2. Then we discover more of our sinfulness and God continues to change our hearts.
        1. God wants to make our hearts more like his.
    2. Change can be quite good.
      1. Change stretches you.
        1. It challenges you by causing you to grow through the trials and tribulations of life.
      2. Change keeps you from getting bored.

    1. Are you the same person you were 10 years ago?  5 years ago?  1 year ago?
    2. Even though there are things that are contradictory, each has its place.
  1. However, God Does not Change
    1. Imaging what it would be like if God changed on us.
      1. What if one day he were nice and another day he was mean.
      2. Or what if he altered between merciful and judgmental, or one day he decided to answer occurs in the next he did not.
    2. I thank God that he is unchangeable.
    3. That means you can count on Him to always be there and to do the right thing.
    4. He wont' change His mind about you.

  1. God has set everything for its time so enjoy yourself.
(vv. 12-13, AIl know that there is nothing better for them than
to rejoice and to do good in one's lifetime; 13 moreover, that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor, it is the gift of God.)
    1. You should make the best of each event and of each season of change.
    2. You should enjoy your life.  It's okay to have fun as a Christian.
      1. Enjoy your children if you have them.  Enjoy your, your home, your health, and enjoy the fact that you that has done well and worshiped God.
      2. Enjoy going fishing, shopping at the mall, washing dishes, coming to church, etc.
    3. God has made everything beautiful in his time.
      1. Even the painful things are set in place by God
    4. Everything has its purpose, even the cold winter storms that bring rain.
    5. You must wait with patience for the full revelation of God's mysterious providence.
      1. All you can see is the middle of God's work, not its end.  He knows the beginning from the end and He has you where He wants you.
    6. But also, set aside place in your heart where you trust God to provide all of your needs because he loves you so much.
    7. So, I will leave you with v. top 10 things you won't have to worry about in the coming years.
      1. The Bible will still have the answers.
      2. Prayer will still work.
      3. The Holy Spirit will still move.
      4. God will still inhabit praise.
      5. There will still be anointed preaching.
      6. There will still be the singing of praise.
      7. God will still pour out blessings on His people.
      8. There will be room at the cross for His children.
      9. Jesus still loves you.
      10. Jesus still saves.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Feasts written in Lev 23

1. Q: Aren’t these Jewish Feasts?

A: God calls them “His Feasts” in Lev 23:2. Furthermore, these appointments were given to all 12 tribes of Israel.
Jews descend from Judah, which is only one tribe of Israel. The reason they are known as “Jewish Feasts” is because the Jews are the ones who obey and keep these appointed days. But like His Commandments, these feasts were also given to His People, Israel.

2.  Q: Why do we, as gentiles, need to commemorate these feasts if they were given to Israel?

A:
(First of all read the definitions of Jew & Gentile here) A simple reason is that God said they were “His Appointed times”. The word “Seasons” in Gen 1:14 and “Feasts” in Lev 23:2 is the same word (Strong’s Dictionary – H4150 – Moed Appointed time). Which means God talked about these appointed times at creation itself, when He created the Sun, Moon and Stars.

The 10 Commandments were only given to Israel. Don’t we need to Keep His Commandments even though it was given to Israel? How can we then pick and choose what to obey and what not to?

  1. : Did Yeshua teach us to commemorate these feasts?

A: Yeshua kept the Feasts, thereby showing us how we should follow Him, even though there is no record of Him saying that we have to keep them (Luke 2:39-52, John 2:23, John 7:37-39). The bottom line is, that Yeshua taught people to obey God & His Word(John 14:24) and The Feasts/Appointments of God are part of His Word.

  1. Q: Did Paul & the 1st Century church keep these feasts and teach about it?
    A: The 1st Century
church including Paul, would have kept all of the feasts in obedience to God. Some of them are recorded as well. (Acts 2:1-4, 18:21, 20:6, 20:16 / 1 Cor 16:5-9 ,5:7-8). Paul asked people to keep the Feasts(1Cor 5:8). Paul even asked people, not to let anyone judge them for keeping the Feasts(Col 2:16) - this verse is commonly misinterpreted as Paul saying not to let anyone judge them for not keeping the feasts(Read Q6 on this link for more info).

  1. Q: Aren’t the Feasts only up till Yeshua?
A: Then why did Paul and the Apostles keep them? The best evidence for this question lies in prophecies that are yet to come to pass about Yeshua’s 2nd coming. We will need to keep these feasts even when Christ returns in the future (Zechariah 14:16-19 / Isaiah 66:22,23). So are we to believe that the Feasts were in effect unto the 1st Century Church. Now it is invalid. And it will be in effect again when Yeshua returns?

   6. Q: How am I supposed to keep the Feasts?

A: Read the Scriptures and obey whatever God says. These are not rituals in any way. You do not need to light special candles and say special prayers. Just obey what God has said in His Word to the best of your ability, even if you are alone in doing it.
