Five Smooth Stones--Genesis 16, The War Between The Seeds

Genesis 16; Hebrews 4:12; Genesis 3:4-5; John 8:44; Proverbs 3:5; Psalms 91:11-12; Matthew 4:1-11; Luke 4:10-11; Genesis 3:15, 4:1-5; Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 11:4; Matthew 23:25; Genesis 4:8; 1 John 3:12; Genesis 12:1-3; Galatians 4:29; Genesis 25:21-27; Genesis 30, 25:34; Hebrews 12:16; Obediah; Matthew 24:37; Genesis 16:13; Isaiah 14:1-3; Romans 11

We are walking in today:  Five Smooth Stones--Genesis 16, The War Between The Seeds

Witness the door throughout scripture:  H1817 dalet  also root words H1800, H1802, H1803, H1805, H1808 meaning: door, gate, to lift out, lift up, dangling from tree and blows back and forth, represents communication, open-giving access, closed-restricting access.
Genesis 4:7; 6:16; 19:6; 19:9-10, 19:11; Judges 19:22; 2 Samuel 13:17-18; Psalm 141:3; Proverbs 5:8; Matthew 6:6; 7:7-8; 23:13 24:23, 25:10-11; Mark 1:33, 2:2, 13:29, 13:34; Luke 11:7, 11:9, 13:25, Acts 5:9; James 5:9; Revelation 3:20, 4:1

Fiveamprayer, we have to determine who we are listening to?  The word of Almighty God or the lies of satan.  We have in scripture that the heavenly angels have been given charge over us to protect us--yet satan in the wilderness twists this scripture in the temptation of Yeshua to test the Lord God.  That is how he operates with some sibilance of truth mixed in with the lie.  Unfortunately many will be deceived into believing the lie.  In this book of Genesis we see the two sons of Abraham one by Sarah and the other by Hagar which are the fountain-heads of two great nations that are battling one another from the very beginning even until today.  This open hostility was not the first time we will see seed at war with seed.  The brothers Cain and Abel are the first that come from the same womb, yet one is influenced to murder by the lies of the enemy.  The offering that Cain brought was not acceptable by Adonai because it was a bloodless offering unlike the offering that Abel brought.  From the time of Genesis 3:15, the serpent has been trying to undermine and reverse what Yahweh had placed on him.  In his desire to be elevated, he contrives many plots and moves to influence those who would prosper his plan.  All to no avail.  That which the Almighty God, the Ancient of Days has set forth from His mouth will stand and not return void.  So there is no worry, in the end we win!!  But will we fall prey to the lies and not go out and search for the truth?!  Yahweh will allow us to find it--when we seek Him with out whole heart.  With a single intention of knowing Him better to go from merely hearing about Him to knowing Him personally for yourself.
The other seeds we find against each other are in the womb of Rebecca--Esau and Jacob.  This was even evidenced by the time of their birth that Jacob came out grasping Esau's heel.  Often Jacobs name is translated as trickster and supplanter.  The word hand in Hebrew is yad and the word heel is akav which is hand on the heel.  It is thought that Jacob had his hand on Esau's heel to keep the heel from crushing his head.  Esau the firstborn who according to custom and culture was to receive the inheritance, did not regard it.  That according to plan it was passed to Jacob.  Fiveamprayer there is a seed that follows all that the Lord God Almighty has given them to.  On the opposite side there is the other seed that follows differing instructions to their downfall.  We are the seed of Abraham by faith.  The only seed of Abraham that was to receive the promise, the covenant that Elohim gave before he had any children.  To listen to this message again, click here.

We are walking in today:  Call To Holiness, Called Out Ones
Witness strength throughout the Bible:  H8633 toqeph meaning power, energy, authority
Genesis 48:2, 49:3; Exodus 15:13; Numbers 14:7, 23:22, 24:8; Deuteronomy 6:5, 11:8, 33:25, 34:7; Judges 5:31, 6:14; 1 Samuel 2:9-10, 2:31; 2 Samuel 22:33, 22:40; 2 Kings 23:25; 1 Chronicles 16:11, 16:27, 29:12; Nehemiah 1:10, 8:10; Psalms 18:1, 18:32, 18:39; 21:1, 21:13, 22:19, 28:7-8, 29:1, 29:11, 33:16, 46:1, 59:9; 59:17, 68:35, 73:26, 90:10, 96:6; Proverbs 24:10; Isaiah 12:2, 28:6, 30:15, 31:1, 33:2, 40:26, 40:29; Jeremiah 16:19, 17:5, 51:30; Daniel 10:8, 10:17-19; Micah 5:4; Habakkuk 3:19; Mark 12:30; 1 Corinthians 1:25; Philippians 4:13; 1 Timothy 1:12; 2 Timothy 4:17; 1 Peter 4:11; Revelation 3:8, 5:12, 7:12
Fiveamprayer, like Abram was called out by Adonai to go to a place that He would show Him, we too have been called out.  We have to understand that our Almighty God is holy. He is separate from the common or mundane.  In His greatness He describes Himself by Himself to Moses saying I AM that I AM is sending you to draw out the children of Israel.  Yeshua is the pathway to the holy place.  We have to know who we are doing this all for!?  Do we really know Him?  Are we walking in the same direction that He is walking?  With all that Yeshua has given us and already prepared for us, yet we miss out on it due to walking against His instructions!  We find in His presence the resources and answers for all questions and concerns.  Do we set our hearts to seek Him first?  To seek Him will all that we have?  Do we seek Him so much that we reside in His tabernacle?  Keep pressing in Fiveamprayer!  What relationships have perished or suffered due to this lack of understanding?  This walk with Him is about intimacy with Him.  Going from having heard about God to--knowing Yahweh personally.  This closeness effects us in every area of our life.  Being a teacher without full understanding, it is like the blind leading the blind and both fall into the ditch.  What you have learned--share with others!  That they too would come into a closer relationship with Him!  We must separate ourselves when we really seek and search out God.  Remove the distractions!  The closer we get the Him the more we come to understand who we are.  Without knowing Him, we are woefully lost.  Keep getting up early seeking Him!  Fiveamprayer we have set out hearts on seeking Him!  We must make Him a priority, seeking Him first!  So many of us die from lack of knowledge of the Lord God Almighty.  This set apart time draws us into an intimacy with Him!  What is set in your heart to do?  How can you receive from Him without seeking Him first?!  We are called to holy, like Him for He is holy.  He has called us out to be prophets of the Lord God.  Speaking what thus says the Lord God.  It is the love of Yeshua that compels us to teach others about Him.  We have in the past done many things in the name of our Almighty God, without the knowledge of His word.  Forgive us Father, we knew not what we were doing.  We come to you in repentance--we are accepting Your correction.  Those You love, You correct.  Thank You for Your correction as You lead us the good and right way!  Your marching in silence is speaking volumes of His glory! Hallelujah!  Click here to listen to more!

Stranded In Babylon
Fiveamprayer, we have a question to ask ourselves this morning.  During or time of testing are we being stranded in Babylon?  The first chapter of Daniel shows us Judea going into exile at the hands of the Babylonian king.  In Daniel's complete devotion to Yahweh, he and 3 other Hebrew boys are noted throughout this chapter for holding onto the proper and original teaching and instructions from Almighty God.  We do have to inquire why were these people sent into exile?
Could it be from pride and taking on the ways of the world?  Being sent into Babylon is being sent into confusion.  The ways in Babylon are the opposite of the ways of Yahweh.

Self-check: when you look into the mirror who do your ways reflect?
Who else lives the way that you live?  Or speak the way that you speak?
We have here in the first chapter that Daniel makes a request to not partake of the things that could be outside of Elohim's direction.  Preferring and setting his heart upon obedience to the King of kings instead of the temporary ruling king of Babylon.  The purpose of this
food, study and name change was to have the exiles totally awash in the Babylonian ways so as to remove or push out all that they were used to.  Is is possible to stand on all of His word in your heart while surrounded by so much confusion?  Will the hand of Yahweh guide you even in exile?  Is there honor given for upholding all that you already know to be true?  Even in there names being changed from honoring and glorifying the One True God, the Ancient of Days, their names were changed to giving honor to false gods.  Be careful what you allow people to call you!!!  Your name is important and is linked to what you do and how you live.  Hold fast to what the Lord God has taught you!  Don't pollute yourself with the things that are outside of what is wholesome and good given in the Torah!  He does watch over His word to preform it!!  In His word, there must be no compromise!  By Daniel putting their obedience to the test they were found by the king's servant to be stronger, wiser, full of knowledge and wisdom!  Stand on the word of God, this is the test in the time of testing!  Don't get stranded in Babylon!!! Keep moving with the Lord, to where He is leading you!  Fiveamprayer, go back to the ancient paths!  Dare God to test you for the next 10 days!  Click here for more on being stranded in Babylon.
We are starting the Daniel fast--eating fruits and vegetables, whole grains.  We will drink water.  For medical reasons you can fast from something else.

Here are the next 10 principles of the Lord God Almighty. This arrangement of the 613 principles, the law of our Lord God Almighty, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is from the book by Rabbi Ralph Messer, Torah: Law Or Grace? Kingdom Principles For Kingdom Living. This book can be ordered online here or in the store if you are in the Denver area here.

The Ninth Commandment--Exodus 20:13
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor

559. You shall observe the law for the axed heifer for an unsolved murder --Deuteronomy  21:4 And the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a rough valley, which is neither eared nor sown, and shall strike off the heifer's neck there in the valley:

560. You shall not work or sow the valley of the axed heifer --Deuteronomy 21:4
561. You shall hang on the gallows a man whose judgement is death --Deuteronomy 21:22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree:

562. You shall bury an executed body on the same day of execution --Deuteronomy 21:23 His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
563. You shall not leave an executed body hanging overnight --Deuteronomy 21:23
564. You shall stone the man and the woman who lies with a betrothed maiden in the city --Deuteronomy 22:24 Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
565. You shall not stone the betrothed maiden who lies with a man in the field --Deuteronomy 22:26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:

566. Fathers shall not be put to death because of sons, and sons shall not be put to death because of fathers --Deuteronomy 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
567. You shall not pervert the judgement of a proselyte or orphan --Deuteronomy 24:17 Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow's raiment to pledge:
568. A Judge shall strike a wicked one with lashes, according to his wickedness, by a court --Deuteronomy 25:2 And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number.

Joshua and Caleb have much to say about how we are to enter into the promised land.  Shema (hear and obey) Fiveamprayer!! All of Israel were brought out of Egypt.  They are the only ones who went in to spy out the land, that actually entered into it.  The rest of their generation all perished in the wilderness. Due to disobedience they were not permitted entrance nor allowed to enter in. The children of Israel in the wilderness are a warning to us to be in obedience to enter into the promised land.  That if His Torah, His teaching and instruction were not being followed, there is no entrance into the promised land.  By following what He has set before us, Fiveamprayer--He is showing His good and right way!  This is the way we are to go!  The name of Caleb, means prepare in repentance,  it can be broken down to, kol +lev = with all the heart or whole hearted.  He was stubbornly unyielding in the task or total pursuit.  Also the meaning of his father's name gives us also some insight as well.  That those who are like Caleb will repent, turnaround and walk whole heartedly in the commandments.  As bride candidates, Fiveamprayer, we desire to be as Caleb.  Seeking truth and then practicing truth in our lives.  We must make adjustments to align with His principles!  It is these characteristics we are to study to know more about.  Joshua's name was actually changed by Moses.  The name Joshua means,  Ya is salvation.  Him being the son of Nun relates to increase.  He is a picture of Yeshua, our Messiah.  They entered in together, not Caleb alone.  We are to enter in with Yeshua into the promised land!!  They both wholly and completely followed Yahweh,  and were allowed to go in.  That is how we are to live our lives--to follow Him fully and completely.  All leaven must be removed, as well as religious practices that are not from Him! We were brought out of bondage by His death with His blood covering our sins.  We are and were not set at liberty to live life in any just any old way!  If we persist in the lies of men and set down His direction, how can we enter in?!  How long are we willing to embrace those things that are an abomination to Him?
Only as we remain joined with Him do we enter in to the promised land.  We must be joined with Messiah in us, be a whole hearted follower of His direction!  Only then can we enter in!  However the question remains, do we currently allow the practice of those things that are the doctrines of men?  How can you still expect to enter into what He has promised, while walking in disobedience?!   Does the disobedient receive the same as the obedient? Matthew 25 we have two examples of the 5 wise and the 5 foolish virgins and the servants with the talents given by their master.  Read and determine if the disobedient are allowed to be blessed because of man's traditions?  Or because it seems to be too hard.  Or were they blessed, because they intended to do so but just never got around to it.  He holds time in His hands.  Fiveamprayer, He is teaching us that we would understand and know.  That in the end He would not have to say I know you not--He is teaching us so that we would know!!  Come out from the commandments and doctrines of men and hold fast to the principles of the Almighty God!  Will you be the wise or foolish virgins?  Will you be the servant that did nothing with the talent the master gave you and hide it in the ground? Fiveamprayer, to what extent are we willing to continue practicing lies?!
We have to come out in order to enter in! Hallelujah and glory to Your name that You care for us so much that you are sending us teachings and warnings to make the correction to be aligned with You.  Let God be true and every man a liar!!! 1:26, 1:28, 1:30, 1:32, 1:34, 1:36, 1:38, 1:40, 1:42, 1:45;  1 Samuel 17:55

Keeping holy, what is holy!  Leviticus 11:45 For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.  We can not merely approach Yahweh in any matter that we choose!  As we continue to study we find the importance of the holy things kept and remaining holy.  Nor are we to mix the common with the holy.  What happened to Nadab and Abihu is because they are the of the priesthood--and are not to do things that are common.  They had been set apart for service unto Yahweh, made holy for the work of the Tabernacle.  That was a more serious charge for the priest as an example to the people.  The differences made of the common and the holy is shown throughout their time in the wilderness.  These are His instructions to a people who had not experienced His presence like this before.  This is a people who are coming out of years of pagan practices.  In His great mercy and love He draws them and teaches them His good and right way!  This we can see with ourselves now--going forth into truth and returning to the ancient paths.  Do we check our thoughts and condition of our spirit before going before Adonai in worship?  Will we make the holy profane?  From the directions that Elohim has given us, do we pause to consider our intentions?  Do we make ready in advance?  Is what we do all just for show?  When we have that check in our spirit do we pause to find where we need to make a correction?  Fiveamprayer, will we study to find the pleasing and proper way that is described in His word?  John 4:22-24 (KJV) 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. We cry out to You, Abba our Heavenly Father!  Forgive us for we knew not what we have done!  We will make and take the correction as we are being taught by Your Ruach HaKadosh.  Because we love You, we actively pursue You, the lover of our souls!  1 John 3:22-23  (KJV) 22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

Mastering The Wilderness!

Numbers 13:25-33; Joshua 17:10-18; 6:16; Jeremiah Exodus 13:14; 13:18, 32:8, Matthew 4:1-2, 3:17

We are walking in today:  Mastering The Wilderness!

Witness battle throughout the Bible:  H4421 milchamah  meaning battle, war
Numbers 31:21, 31:27, 33:27, 32:29; Deuteronomy 2:24, 20:1-3, 29:7; Joshua 4:13; 1 Samuel 17:47, 2 Samuel 17:11, 22:40; Psalm 18:39, 24:8, 55:18, 140:7, Proverbs 21:31; Ecclesiastes 9:11; Jeremiah 51:20; Ezekiel 7:14, 13:5; 1 Corinthians 14:8; Revelation 9:7

This takes radical faith, study and obedience!  Fiveamprayer we are going in!
We are looking at these two settings of the text--the before and after the wilderness.  There is a challenge facing us in the wilderness.  Will we learn from  or repeat our mistakes?  There are several steps that lead to freedom. Fiveamprayer, deliverance is not freedom!!  For 40 years Israel was in the wilderness, a time directed by Almighty God, they were not wandering but being developed and strengthened.  Don't allow what you think about yourself, to alter what God has already promised to give to you.  The 40 years they were to be developed to see and trust the Lord God as the next generation would be able to go up and take the land that He had set before them.  What words were spoken in the wilderness, for He is honorable to allow those words to come to pass as well.  What is on your tongue?
The word midbar h4057 is wilderness, meaning--desert, uninhabited land, the root word means spoken, commanded, declared, teached.  This all shows us the teaching and instruction for the people of Israel in the wilderness is where  they were given order.  This is where instruction was spoken to them by Yahweh.  This is where we get order, in the wilderness.  This is a place of training and intimacy with God, where He is developing you.  We choose to be retrained or remain trained!  Will we master what we have been given or allow some thing else to master us?  It is in this environment we learn balance, order and harmony in the wilderness!  So many of us look for a time away from the cities to the 'wilderness' to find peace and balance to hear and seek time with Almighty God.  The 10 orders, which are often translated as the 10 commandments were given where?  In the wilderness!  We are receiving our orders from the highest power of leadership and might!  Position and power can take there toll on those in the wilderness.  We must be mindful of what can and will come against us.  From the outside forces and even our own thoughts.  Let us rely and trust in He who never fails!  He is the all-seeing, all-knowing God!  There is nothing too hard for Him nor beyond His control. Why would we blame Him in our crisis?  That we were lead into the wilderness as a punishment?  How can we grow with all of these distractions surrounding us?  What is in our hearing in the wilderness that is not being heard in the towns?  We may soon find that the turmoil we may find ourselves in is--from within.  Don't give into the clamor of our minds, Fiveamprayer!!!  Rely and rest in He who is holding you in the palm of His hand?!  To hear more of the benefits of the wilderness experience click here.

The wilderness determines if God Almighty or the flesh will rule over your life.  This is a place of training and teaching.  Will we or will we not obey what His word says?  What is in your heart, fiveamprayer?!  Will you listen and obey all of His directions?  We are lead into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit, we have in error given this credit the satan.  Luke 4:1-2 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered. Coming out of the wilderness we will blossom as a rose!  He is perfecting us, developing us and taking out those things that are not like Him!  Thank You Adonai for lifting us up and rebuilding the areas that were in need of Your holy repair!  Start rejoicing while you are still in the wilderness--the wilderness is rejoicing for you!  Fiveamprayer you are coming out!!  Redefined in this process tested and tried by His hand!  There is a purpose for your wilderness experience. We receive the excellency of Almighty God in the wilderness, where He leads us.  In Lebanon in biblical times, it was known for it cedars that were very fragrant.  Fiveamprayer our sense of smell awakened in our wilderness experience. The children of Israel experience the excellency of Yahweh at Mt. Carmel.  The second awakening by the Holy Spirit--that we see and truly know that the Lord God is in first place in every area of our lives!  That Elohim would be in our vision and in our hearing.  Otherwise what we are following is a mirage that is false, fake and insubstantial.  You life is depended more on what God says than what man says!!!  Do what Almighty God has said for that which He has given you.  You are strengthened in the wilderness that we can be strong--that we no longer have the the weak hands, feeble knees, and weakened frame. It is the eyes, ears and mouth  that get weakened in the wilderness and those weakness are revealed.  This is what Yeshua comes to heal the ear, eye and lame.  Many are ready to start but have no vision nor ear to hear or direction to go.  We are coming out of our wilderness!!  The first steps to healing: water to quench our thirst.  The Ruach HaKadosh wants to prevent spiritual dehydration.  The water will break out first, then a pooling of the water.  The dragon of the desert leaves when the water begins to rise!  It is the dragon that tries to keep you in fear, hissing at you.  Believe that you are coming out of your wilderness experience, fiveamprayer!  We have gotta know that unclean spirits are looking for dry saints!   We are to crucify our flesh--no more working off a demon spirit!!  Yeshua said to cast them out!!
He shows us the way out of the wilderness, baring anything unclean to pass through.  This is the path of holiness!  Kingdom saints are not of this world!!!!   Now is the time to be delivered and cross over into walking according to His lifestyle!!  Any teaching that gives us license to sin, is not of the Truth!!  If you learned anything from Christ, when He walked on the Earth, it should reflect His pureness, righteousness, and holiness!  He is the Way, the Truth and the Life!  The path out is holiness!  The devil can not walk in holiness, nor the evil spirits with him!  Only the redeemed walk in holiness.  That is our protection and our path, but the question is will you go His way or our own way  This is what the wilderness will show us--where we have a place to choose, what will we choose?  The enemy is in the wilderness with us and will do some shouting but fear not!!!   Remain on the path!   Fiveamprayer, we are brought out of the wilderness into Eden!  We are coming out with joy and gladness.  There are controls in Eden and rules to live by that we will sorrow and sigh no more!  A place and time of no more curses, division, sickness--all available for the redeemed today!  Are you in the wilderness?  When you come out you will be fit for service for Yahweh?!  Are you coming out of the wilderness? What is are your words professing over your life?!  I am coming out of the wilderness by the hand of Almighty God!  Hallelujah and glory to His name!  Click here to listen again to this one!!  Awesome!! Thank You Yahweh for bringing us out of the wilderness stronger and surefooted standing on the volume of Your holy word!  Amen, amen!

Faith That Changes Reality

Jeremiah 6:16; Exodus 17:12, Psalm 28:8, 27:5, Prov 16:3; 1 Corinthians 13:5-8; Hebrew 11:1, 11:6, Jeremiah 6:16-21; Proverbs 8:17; Jeremiah 29:13; Hebrew 8:10; Isaiah 55:7; John 6:28-33; Numbers 33:1-2; 2 Corinthians 12:2-5;  Galatians 3:28; Luke 3:21-23

We are walking in today:  Faith That Changes Reality

Witness army throughout the Bible:  chayil H2429 meaning power, strength, force
Exodus 14:9; Deuteronomy 11:4; 1 Samuel 4:2; 4:12, 4:16; 17:21; 1 Kings 20:25; 2 Chronicles 14:8, 20:21, 24:24; Jeremiah 32:2, 34:1; Ezekiel 38:15; Daniel 3:20, 4:35, 11:7; Joel 2:11; Revelation 9:16, 19:19

Fiveamprayer we have to look at this again to see that we are to be in motion.  The Hebrew word emunah H530 is an action word--we are to do what we can to help God not just believe in what He can or will do.  We are to do what we can--obedience to His word and holding fast to His promises.  We also looked at the word , galal  H1556 commit--trust, rolling all of our cares onto Him.  Faith is so powerful that it will change your situation.  That is obedience that has the power to change situations to what you need them to be.  Obedience is confidence and belief in the truth.  There is the way that the Hebrews live their lives, called halak meaning to walk as a movement and how one lives there life.  This is Strong's number H1980.  This can also be translated as path. Fiveamprayer what path are you on?  Where does that path lead?  He is a rewarder to those that diligently seek Him.  We also have to believe that He is.  Do our lives reflect that we at really seeking Him in diligence?  Do we show by our lives that we believe that He is?  Upon His correction, are we making every effort to line up with His good and right way?  Or do we propose that we have made or found a better way?
Bread was an important staple of food in Biblical days.  The Lord's prayer begins with a request for daily bread, which in that culture is linked to the importance of eating sustenance from the Earth.  We have to be aware of the kinds of food that we are filling our belly with.  Are our actions directed from His word?  He is the Bread of Life, yet our lives often reflect death.  How long will you continue on a diet of death when He is graciously offering us life and direction from His hand to our benefit?!  Let us no longer have the disobedient response from Jeremiah 6:16.  To hear more on this teaching  click here.

The Ninth Commandment--Exodus 20:13 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor
549. You shall investigate well the report of the abomination of worship of the gods of others-- Deuteronomy 13:14 Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;
550. You shall appoint Judges and Officers in all your cities to judge the people with righteous judgement-- Deuteronomy 16:18 Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.
551. You shall do according to the judgement of the Kohanim, the Levites, and the Judge-- Deuteronomy 17:9-11 9 And thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and enquire; and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment: 10 And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which the Lord shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee: 11 According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.
552. You shall not differ from or disobey the judgement of the Kohanim, the Levites and the Judge-- Deuteronomy 17:9-11
553. You shall not speak in the name of the gods of others-- Deuteronomy 18:20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
554. You shall not speak falsely in the Name of God-- Deuteronomy 18:20
555. You shall establish the Cities of Refuge-- Deuteronomy 19:3 Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may flee thither.
556. You shall not pity the one who murdered--Deuteronomy 19:13 Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.
557. A single witness shall not stand up against any man for any iniquity, error or sin--Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
558. A false witness shall receive the punishment he conspired to bring upon his neighbor-- Deuteronomy 19:19 Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.

The only entry into the tabernacle was on the east side.  The word east in Hebrew means old and ancient.  For He is the Ancient of Days.  The tree of life was east in the garden of Eden.  Jesus Christ of Nazareth returns from the east.  Return to the ancient paths, fiveamprayer!  Man's ways are from the west, God's ways are from the east.  This entry into the tabernacle leads to the brazen alter.  The word gate in Hebrew means to complete a business transaction.  Most cities had 2 gates the larger for general entrance and the smaller one called the gate of the elders.  This is where disputes and debts were settled. Debtors settled with the elders and were then free to walk about the city freely.  Those debtors who entered the large gate could settle the bill later but could be harassed throughout the town.  The narrow gate is also known as the gate of thanksgiving.
Once you had entered into the tabernacle before the brazen alter is where the coals would come from for your burn sacrifice, without having this coal your offering was with strange fire.  The 12 gates of Jerusalem and the 12 tribes of Israel is how we are to enter into the New Jerusalem.  The gate was the only way to the tabernacle. Entering in any other way, you are a thief.  Yeshua is the gate to the sheepfold.  Fiveamprayer, we are to strive to enter in to the narrow gate.  Many profess to be Christians and Christ-like yet they are deceived to walk a different way than Yeshua walked!  This deception goes all the way back to Genesis 3.  We find that after the fall of man only 8 were saved from the flood.  How many were deceived to follow the practices of the devil?
Genesis 6:8-12 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. 9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. 10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. 11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
Matthew 24:37-38  (KJV) 37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,

The people in the days of Noah became so deceived that Yahweh had to cleanse the earth, saving only Noah and his family.  We must know righteousness
to stay out of deception.  If we love His word, we will stand on all of His truth!  Sin is missing the mark, when we transgress His law.  The Torah isn't over--this is how we know what sin is!  Click here to listen again!

5 Smooth Stones, Exodus 18--Kingdom Leadership

Exodus 20:13-23, 12:2 Numbers 15:34; 2 Kings 6; Deuteronomy 34:24-25; Exodus 33:11; Numbers 27:18-20; Joshua 1:6-8

We are walking in today:  5 Smooth Stones, Exodus 18--Kingdom Leadership

Witness royal  throughout the Bible:  H4428 melek meaning king, one who reigns, elements of a kingdom Genesis 49:20; Joshua 10:2; 1Samuel 27:5; 1 Kings 10:13; 1 Chronicles 29:25  Esther 1:9, 1:11, 1:19, 2:15-17, 5:1, 6:8, 8:15; Isaiah 62:3; Jeremiah 43:10; Daniel 6:7; James 2:8 1 Peter 2:9

With the visitation from his father-in-law Jethro,Moses receives direction or else he would wear himself out as well as the people, in deciding between issues of what the Lord God has taught.  In teaching the people the statues, the written and oral Torah is what Moses received from Yahweh from on high. Then appointing leaders over the people in various groups and only bring the hard issues to Moses.  The written Torah came later, from the time of Abraham the people walked according to the oral Torah.  The children of Israel who heard the first 2 of the 10 utterances of HaShem often called the 10 commandments, pleaded for Moses to get the instructions from Adonai that they could not bear to hear them directly.  The teaching of the Torah was all taught to Moses from his time on Mt. Sinai and throughout his time in the wilderness that was a continual learning and teaching of the people.  As a kingdom leader, Moses was in constant study and discussion with Elohim on these directions to be able to direct and teach the leaders, Aaron and his two sons, then the 70 elders, then the people would then be taught.  This was taught over and over so that it would be memorized.  The leaders would go throughout the camp to check with the people to find if there were any questions.  This process was followed for each section of the Torah.  The teaching of the law of the Lord was taught in this manner that all would know the commandments and statues.
There were study halls set up to learn the Torah and was also a court for decisions.  Any town of at least 120
people had one of these courts/study halls.
The larger towns and cities would have more study halls/courts headed by judges that were the best of those who studied the Torah.  The head rabbi was set up over the other courts and was located in Jerusalem.  The first rabbi was Moses ordained by Yahweh Himself.  Who wrote down all of the Torah, at His instruction.  In the studies and receipt of the Torah, Joshua was there the whole time to set him apart to take over for Moses and so the mantel of leadership passed to Joshua to take the people into the promised land.
Ezra 7:25 And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know them not.
Fiveamprayer we have to go back!!  We have not done this thing right!  There is no leaving off of the instructions of the Almighty God!  The Torah does not have an expiration date!  All that is new is not what is best!  With closer inspection we find much of the newer things are often mostly based on the old.  Because His word stands forever and time is still going--then all of His word is still in effect!  Even when heaven and the earth pass away, His word still stands.  Since the earth and heavens are still here, Yahweh's word is still alive and well.  Go back and teach what is our rights, protection, and instruction--the Torah!  How can we be walking after the King of kings or King Jesus and yet forsake His laws?!  Every king has laws.  What they speak is law!  The king determines how his kingdom is run, what is appropriate, good for the people and has the power and strength to enforce his statues.  Only His word matters, yet we defer to the opinion of men!  Go back, read and study His word.  Take off the distractions that we have obtained in tradition.  The children of Israel listened and were taught this over and over and then they even asked questions to make sure all understood.  That is how we are to study His word!  Click here to hear this teaching on kingdom leadership!!

Return To The Ancient Path

Jeremiah 6; Romans 15:4; Deuteronomy 32:7; Micah 7:14; Psalms 77:56, 17:5, 23:3, 107:7; Jeremiah 31:9; 1 Kings 8:36; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; John 8:32; Jeremiah 7:23; Isaiah 30:21; 1 Kings 8:36; Romans 6:4, 8:4; Galatians 5:16; Ephesians 6:17; Romans 9:21; Jeremiah 10:23; Deuteronomy 16:3, 24:9; Psalms 105:5; Luke 17:32; Hebrews 10:32; 2 Peter 1:9, 2 Peter 3; Judges 21:25; Isaiah 2:24; Jeremiah 31:31-34; 1 Corinthians 9:21; Galatians 6:2; Romans 9:21; Psalm 1

We are walking in today:  Return To The Ancient Path

Witness refuge throughout the Bible:  H4268 machaceh shelter, refuge
Numbers 35:6, 35:14; Deuteronomy 33:27; Joshua 20:2; 2 Samuel 22:3; Psalm 9:9, 46:1, 46:7, 38:3, 57:1; 59:16, 62:8, 71:7, 91:2, 91:9, 94:22, 142:4-5; Proverbs 14:26; Isaiah 4:6; Jeremiah 16:19; Hebrews 6:18

The setting of Jeremiah is much like us today, a nation lavishing under much profit and only repentance and return to the truth would turn back judgement.  At these times, as at others, prophets are sent out as a warning beacon and Jeremiah is the same.  Asking if the people would go back to the good and right way?  The ancient paths of old.  The manner in which He taught them in the wilderness. The way that they are to go.  What is your answer?
Fiveamprayer what way did Yahweh give us?  The way we are to know and the truth that sets men free.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Walk in the instructions of Holy Spirit, that is how we are to live our lives!  How we are to treat each other and how to approach the holy God.  We are to obey Adonai, our Creator, Father and King.  What could be the old paths?  Also this lets us know that the children of Israel, as we have--moved away from where they had started originally.
This is also addressed by Paul to the believers in the Brit Chadasha/New Testament--warning the believers about those teaching a message that would lead them away from the ancient path.  Don't allow others to cause you to drift!  Stand and stand therefore on the volume of the Book!  Listen to instruction that teaches you the way, His way to go!  We have to see that throughout all of history that society cannot not survive without laws.  What is the proper manner of doing things, for the safety and well-being of the people?  How is that determined and regulated?  How do we have the same understanding of the appropriate things to be done in society without laws to teach us the boundaries?  Unfortunately, even with this warning that Jeremiah has in verse 16 we hear that same response even now.  There are people who wish to remain an outlaw.  We find no rest in rebellion, yet many wallow in the muck of disobedience.  Fiveamprayer send out the warning, 'return to the ancient ways, for rest unto those who are weary!'  Thank You Yahweh for giving us this teaching this morning!  That You would call us out to no longer waiver, but to stand.  No more being double-minded but sure footed--standing on His word that lasts forever!  We know that our ways are out of order and only You can direct us!!  For You are alone do things in decency and in order.  That we follow Your good and right way, is the way that we will learn and study to walk this out!  Praise Your holy name!  Dial in for this one!  Straight from His word and as timely as ever!  Take the correction and be not disobedient!!  Hear what thus says the Lord Yahweh click here!

We are walking in today:  Roll All Of Our Cares Unto, Almighty God!

Witness thirst throughout the Bible:  H6772 tsama meaning parched ground, a drought as in a desert or hot land
Exodus. 17:3; Deuteronomy. 28:48, 29:19; Judges 15:18; 2 Chronicles 32:11; Nehemiah 9:159:20; Psalm 69:21; Lamentations 4:4 ; Isaiah 5:13, 41:17, 49:10, 50:2; Jeremiah 48:18; Amos 8:11, 8:13; Matthew 5:6; John 4:14-15, 6:35, 7:37, 19:28; Romans 12:20, 1 Corinthians 4:11; Revelation 7:16

Fiveamprayer we have to get to a place of total trust and commitment unto Yahweh!  That we would roll all of ourselves unto Him.  Much of our current Christian practices are not a accurate reflection of the original Biblical Hebraic roots.  By the direction of Yahweh and His command to the people selected by Him to bless all the people of the Earth.  Let us go back to the original to find out His plan and intention.  Go back, fiveamprayer--what did God say about it?  How did Yeshua walk among the people?  How do we maintain a personal relationship with the righteous and holy God?  How do we live in the kingdom with the King of kings?  We are to trust in Him--for without faith it is impossible to please Him!  We too are to be like Abraham, keeping the principles of Adonai.  Let us be regenerated by the Holy Spirit as we walk in faith in Elohim.  Salvation is an act of God, and Him alone!  Faith with out works is dead.  The better translation of faith from a Hebraic mindset is obedience so without obedience it is impossible to please Him.  Obedience with out works is dead.  Our lives are to be demonstration of our obedience or faith to His teaching and instruction.  To hear this again click here.

In this season of time there are more and more Christians seeking scriptural based worship
and Jewish people are finding the Messiah.  In the past 30 years especially the last 10 years believers have been leaving the church not for lack of commitment but a search for a spiritual saitey that was not found in their church.  There is a need for the people to hear what thus says the Lord--not watered down or sugar coated.  A cry we ourselves, Fiveamprayer have had on this line!  This burning desire for truth and more and more of the Lord God Almighty places us and many on a search for truth.  Leads us back to His original intent.  The return to the ancient ways of the Ancient of Days, setting down the traditions of men that have been inherited over the years.
Know that all of this has been wrought by His hands and His hands alone.  He is the All-Seeing, All-Knowing Almighty God!  He is never surprised nor out of control of any single thing that has or will happen on this Earth!  The people chosen by Him to be blessing to the Earth have become scattered due to their disobedience and are now all throughout the nations.  He also tells us in the Tankah that they will be gathered back together.  Son of Man can these dry bones live?  Son of Man is a group of people revealed in the Messanic Era, 'in that day', 'at that time'
these are phrases that give us clues in His word of the time which is now.  We are to repent for our disobedience to His Torah and return to Him.  As we can read and prayerfully understand that
He upholds all of His word.  Read Deuteronomy chapter 28-- find out that the blessings are tied to obedience and the curses to disobedience.  Read it for yourself.  Plainly written and yet there is confusion?!!?  His word stands forever. Malachi 3:6 “I the Lord do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.
Isaiah 40:8 (NIV) The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”  Joshua 24:15 (NIV) But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Thank You Yahweh for bringing us this teaching on chapter 15 of Genesis where we find a man called Abram called out from his people and the land that he knew to where Elohim would lead him.  Abram is walking away from his family and pagan practices.  Obedience to His word was the test.  Would he go and forsake all?  He even receives this encouragement that the Lord is his shield and exceedingly great reward.  The Almighty God knows our hearts and minds and will calm our fears--Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”  There is protection from on high as well as a reward.  Our relationship with the King of kings is our great reward!  Press into His presence for He alone supports, provides and sustains us!  Hallelujah and glory to His name! We are walking in today:  The Origin And Practice Of The Poison Called Rebellion.

This morning we are discussing the topic of rebellion.  This is a serious matter, not only for the children of Israel but for us even today.  In digging into the meat of the matter so to speak, we find how serious this is seen and dealt with by our Almighty God.  Fiveamprayer, we have to understand that  Yahweh has instructed and set each person called according to His purpose in place precisely.   There is no room for our opinions or input.  The key here is that we are positioned and gifted according to His purpose. Korah and Moses are the key characters in the chapter. Korah rises with 250 others to come against Moses, or so he thought. Many of us have heard of the stories about YHWH (GOD) literally opening up the earth and swallowing evildoers. That is scary, but wait, let us see what an evildoer is exactly.  Proverbs 17:11 An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him. So the question to you today is are you walking in rebellion? Many instantly claim not to be, but if we do a true introspection we are often surprised as to what we are harboring in our hearts. Rebellion against God manifests through disobedience toward any leadership ordained by God (not necessarily clergy). There can be rebellion against our husbands for instance--how many times have you questioned, argued, refused and rejected a request from your husband? This is rebellion in the sight of God. The practice of rebellion is found in how we conduct ourselves in the midst of our rebellion, are we allowing our children to witness it? Remember our children do what we do--not what we say!  Therefore if we are not careful we could truly be developing a seed of rebellion that follows throughout your family for three to four generations. This is where I will encourage you to listen to this awesome message here.  The quality of your life and your children's children lives depend upon it.  Shalom Alakeim (Peace be unto you).
