Fiveamprayer
we have to look at this again to see that we are to be in motion. The
Hebrew word emunah H530 is an action word--we are to do what we can to
help God not just believe in what He can or will do. We are to do what
we can--obedience to His word and holding fast to His promises. We also
looked at the word , galal H1556 commit--trust, rolling all of our
cares onto Him. Faith is so powerful that it will change your
situation. That is obedience that has the power to change situations to
what you need them to be. Obedience is confidence and belief in the
truth. There is the way that the Hebrews live their lives, called halak
meaning to walk as a movement and how one lives there life. This is
Strong's number H1980. This can also be translated as path.
Fiveamprayer what path are you on? Where does that path lead? He is a
rewarder to those that diligently seek Him. We also have to believe
that He is. Do our lives reflect that we at really seeking Him in
diligence? Do we show by our lives that we believe that He is? Upon
His correction, are we making every effort to line up with His good and
right way? Or do we propose that we have made or found a better way?
Bread was an important staple of food in Biblical days. The Lord's prayer begins with a request for daily bread, which in that culture is linked to the importance of eating sustenance from the Earth. We have to be aware of the kinds of food that we are filling our belly with. Are our actions directed from His word? He is the Bread of Life, yet our lives often reflect death. How long will you continue on a diet of death when He is graciously offering us life and direction from His hand to our benefit?! Let us no longer have the disobedient response from Jeremiah 6:16.
