Thank You Yahweh for bringing us this teaching on chapter 15 of Genesis where we find a man called Abram called out from his people and the land that he knew to where Elohim would lead him.  Abram is walking away from his family and pagan practices.  Obedience to His word was the test.  Would he go and forsake all?  He even receives this encouragement that the Lord is his shield and exceedingly great reward.  The Almighty God knows our hearts and minds and will calm our fears--Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”  There is protection from on high as well as a reward.  Our relationship with the King of kings is our great reward!  Press into His presence for He alone supports, provides and sustains us!  Hallelujah and glory to His name!
