Be Strong, Be Trusting: Psalm 27 In Elul

Shift In The Spirit--Be Strong, Be Trusting: Psalm 27 In Elul

Psalm 27Tree of Life Version (TLV)

Let Your Heart Take Courage
Psalm 27

1 Of David.
Adonai is my light and my salvation:
whom should I fear?
Adonai is the stronghold of my life:
whom should I dread?
2 When evildoers approached me to devour my flesh
—my adversaries and my foes—they stumbled and fell.
3 Though an army camp besieges me, my heart will not fear.
Though war breaks out against me, even then will I be confident.
4 One thing have I asked of Adonai,
that will I seek:
to dwell in the House of Adonai
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of Adonai,
and to meditate in His Temple.
5 For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His sukkah,
conceal me in the shelter of His tent,
and set me high upon a rock.
6 Then will my head be high above my enemies around me.
In His Tabernacle I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy.
I will sing, yes, sing praises to Adonai.

7 Hear, Adonai, when I call with my voice,
be gracious to me and answer me.
8 To You my heart says: “Seek My face.”
Your face, Adonai, I seek.
9 Do not hide Your face from me.
Do not turn Your servant away in anger.
You have been my help.
Do not abandon me or forsake me,
O God my salvation.
10 Though my father and my mother
forsake me, Adonai will take me in.
11 Teach me Your way, Adonai,
and lead me on a level path—
because of my enemies.
12 Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes.
For false witnesses rise up against me,
breathing out violence.
13 Surely I trust that I will see the goodness
of Adonai in the land of the living.
14 Wait for Adonai.
Be strong, let Your heart take courage,
and wait for Adonai.

Shema Selah let us hear listen and obey His teaching, the King is in the field, won't you seek His face!?!?  Be encouraged for He dearly cares for you!

Songs of Solomon 6:3 I belong to the man I love, and he belongs to me; He pastures his flock among the lilies.

SEASON OF REPENTANCE
The beginning of the month of Elul, the sixth on the religious calendar, commences the thirty day season of preparation for the Day of Proclamation, Yom Teruah which is Hebrew for the "Day of Blowing".(Feast of Trumpets) The shofar is blown to call the people to attention, to sound a warning, to give an alarm and to announce the coronation of kings.

Abba Himself blew a heavenly 'shofar' at Mt Sinai to call the people to attention and to announce His Presence for the inauguration of the covenant with them.

The blowing of the shofar at Yom Teruah is a rehearsal of the future announcement of the arrival of the King of all the earth for His coronation, when all the earth will come before Him to be accounted for.

As a rehearsal performed yearly, it gives the believer a window of opportunity to set their lives in order and find a place of repentance so as to be worthy to escape the coming judgement and, if Y'shua should tarry another year before He returns, enjoy the Most High's grace, favor and blessing for that coming year.

Leviticus 23:23-25 23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. 25 Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

The thirty days of Elul is set aside for this purpose in personal reflection and evaluation to examine our own lives and repent in those areas where we need improvement in our walk with The Most High in Y'shua our Messiah. As such it becomes a yearly accounting and evaluation of our lives in the searching light of His holy Ruach (Spirit).

In this time leading up to the Hebrew New Year Yom Kippur we follow the commandments of El Elyon given to His set apart. We find ourselves following these commands given as a covenant for our connection to Abba. This covenant is not a contract. But a marriage covenant from the eternal groom unto his created bride.
To His created bride meaning the process of living by the marriage proposal(613 principles). The groom writes the living commandments for a lifelong marriage by His laws. The Bride must become one with the image and likeness of the Groom. As given the Torah and its examples of how the bride is to be a wise wife by following and agreeing to the proposal.

This process has been portrayed over and over again in the stories of the scriptures as a great book with one long love letter. Of The Most Highs love, mercy, and long suffering His longing to be one with his children to marry and become one. (Echad) Preparing those who are found seeking truth Studying His proposal and teshuvahing. Returning back to his covenant that he gave and not man made traditions made up by the wrong groom. So For the coming of Elohim as the great groom for His bride the church. Have any of you ever been married before? The wrong bride or groom can cause so much heartache and disaster.

This season of preparation is known as Teshuvah which in Hebrew means "to repent or return". This season extends past the actual day of Teruah and includes the ten days up until Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, making forty days in all of spiritual preparation.

In traditional Judaism, each morning during the 30 days of the month of Elul, the trumpet (shofar) or ram's horn is blown to warn the Most High's people to return or repent. In a traditional synagogue, the shofar is blown after every morning service and Psalm 27 is included in the liturgy.

In addition to the Shelosh Esrei Middot, the chanting of a number of psalms and prayerful poems (piyyutim) are recited during services throughout the month of Elul. The tone of a Selichot service is set in Psalm 130. The message from Elul 1 to Yom Teruah is clear: Repent before Yom Teruah. Don't wait until after Yom Teruah or you will find yourself in the Days of Awe.

But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he has committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. All his transgressions that he has committed, that shall not be mentioned unto him: In his righteousness that he has done (repent) he shall live." Ezekiel 18:21-23

Seek the Most High, all you meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgement, seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be you shall be hid in the day of the Most High's anger. Zephaniah 2: 1-3

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Most High as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Most High is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Most High will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." 2 Peter 3: 8-10

When the spiritual call of Yom Teruah comes, there will be no time for preparation, it needs to be done before hand. For He will come suddenly to His temple (spiritual) to dwell in it in His fullness and it will be to a people who have come to the fullness of the stature of Y'shua, the Messiah.

Ephesians 4:13,16 13 until we all arrive at the unity implied by trusting and knowing the Son of God, at full manhood, at the standard of maturity set by the Messiah’s perfection. 16 Under his control, the whole body is being fitted and held together by the support of every joint, with each part working to fulfill its function; this is how the body grows and builds itself up in love.

He will be coming to dwell IN His people at this time and they will be overcomers during the tribulation period. Those who are not ready when that day comes, who yet need to be purified, will go through the purging of the tribulation period, so that they also will be ready for the Day of Atonement - Yom Kippur.

The blowing of the ram's horn, the shofar, is a reminder of the voice of Elohim making provision for us by providing the ram (whose horns were caught in the thicket) which was then used as a sacrificial substitute for the offering of Isaac's life which Abraham was called to do on Mount Moriah (Genesis 22).

In doing this, Abraham was a type of Father God, Who made the supreme sacrifice in offering up His Son, that we might be spared the penalty of death and have eternal life. John 3:16-17

Therefore, on the basis of our heavenly Father's sacrifice, the Ruach says to us in His word, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service." Romans 12: 1

REPENTANCE

The scriptures describes three levels of wrong-doing. These are: sins, transgressions and iniquity.

"And the Most High passed by before him (Moses), and proclaimed, The Most High, Elohim merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth. Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgressions and sin ..." Exodus 34: 6-7

The first level is sin which in Hebrew is "chattah" which means "missing the mark or any wayward action due to carelessness, ignorance or error"

The second of these is iniquity which in Hebrew is "avon" and means crookedness or departure from right conduct by consciously departing from a commandment of the Most High God - knowing to do good and not doing it.

The third level is transgression. In Hebrew this is "peshah" which means "rebellion or deliberate persistence of rebellion".

"Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom El Elyon imputes not iniquity and in whose spirit there is no guile ... I acknowledged my sin unto You, and my iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Most High; and you forgave the iniquity of my sin." Psalm 32:1-2, 5

There are also three levels of repentance --

The first step is confession. As soon as a person acknowledges his sin and confess it as such, then the power of the flesh loses it's hold on him.

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all iniquity." 1 John 1: 9

The second step to repentance is remorse. This is a full realization of the seriousness of the sin before The Most High and heartfelt sorrow and remorse toward Him.

The third step of repentance is corrective action. Confession and remorse is not real unless it is followed by a solemn resolve not to repeat the sin and restitution and reconciliation wherever and to whoever it is applicable.

"Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Most High, and he will have mercy upon him" Isaiah 55: 7

The whole season of repentance is based on the merciful and compassionate attributes of The Most High toward a genuinely repentant sinner.

“Out of the depths have I cried unto You, O the Most High. Lord, hear my voice: let Your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. If You, the Most High, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared.” Psalm 130: 1-4

The thirteen attributes of the Most High God which are emulated in Jewish prayers at this time are from

Exodus 34: 6-7

1. The LORD (The Most High)

2. The LORD (the repetition of God's name emphasises His provision for all man's needs:

3. El - God the Mighty

4. Rachum: God the compassionate;

5. Vechanun: God is gracious;

6. Erech Apayim: God is slow to anger, patient in
waiting for our repentance;

7. Verav Chesed: God is abundant in kindness to both the righteous and the wicked;

8. Ve'emet: God is truthful and faithful in carrying out promises;

9. Notzer Chesed La'alafim: God extends kindness for a thousand generations, and blessings from our ancestors;

10. Nosei Avon: God forgives iniquity, defined in the tradition as wrongful deeds committed with premeditation;

11. Vafesha: God forgives transgression, defined as wrongful deeds committed in a rebellious spirit;

12. Vechata'ah: God forgives sin, those wrongful deeds that were inadvertent;

13. Venakeh: God will not cancel all punishment, only to those who are repentant.

Let us hear the awakening call of the shofar to our conscience and come humbly before the throne of His grace that we may obtain forgiveness and cleansing from a holy, yet merciful God.

Shema Selah let us hear and fully consider our ways while in the field with the King that He would purge and renew us!  Facebook LIVE video

ELUL “The King Is In The Field!!!!” The Heart Is The Secret To Elul

Song of Solomon 6

We are walking in today:  ELUL “The King Is In The Field!!!!” The Heart Is The Secret To Elul

Elul and Jacobs Trouble

Pay close attention family to what time it is: Deuteronomy 30:6 states that the Most High will circumcise "your heart and the heart of your offspring," or in Hebrew, which is said to be an acronym for the word Elul Indeed, the gematria for the Hebrew word is the same for "understanding" (בִּינָה), hinting at Isaiah 6:10: "his heart will understand and turn and be healed." Yeshua circumcises the hearts of those who trust in Him (Col.2:11). His favor rests upon those who genuinely turn to Him. Trusting in His sacrifice on the stake satisfies the Most High's righteous judgment and gives us understanding to fulfill His deeper purposes.

1. Adonai (יהוה) - I, the LORD, am the Compassionate Source of all of life and Grounds of all being; I am the breath of life for all of creation. I am the God of all possible worlds and Master of the universe. Everything that exists is an expression of my loving will and kindness: olam chesed yibaneh: "The world is built with chesed" (Psalm 89:3). Since the relative difference between existence and non-existence is infinite, the Most High's creation represents infinite kindness, and since you exist, you likewise are expression of the Most High's kindness and love. You do not exist because the Most High needs you but solely because your life is willed by the Most High as an expression of His love.
Adonai (יהוה) - Though the Most High created the universe "very good" (טוֹב מְאד), He remained the Compassionate Source of life even after mankind sinned, and therefore the Name is repeated to refer to His loving relationship with alienated, fallen creation. I, the Most High, am also compassionate to one who has sinned and repented (the Creator gives us free will and the good gift of teshuvah).
The Most High created mankind for the sake of teshuvah - that is, our return to Him. The Most High desires atonement with mankind even after sin and therefore continues to give existence to the world. "He makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust" (Matt. 5:45). Moreover, as the Savior and Redeemer of the world through Yeshua, the Most High reveals kindness even to the evil, and even partakes of its presence by means of His sacrificial love on the stake. Since teshuvah can only exist after the advent of sin, Yeshua is called the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (Rev. 13:8; Eph. 1:4; 1 Pet. 1:20).
In this connection, it should be noted that while the Most High allowing the actions of the wicked to occur, he does not desire it. The sages note that while the Creator supports the existence of both the
wicked and the righteous, he loves the righteous, and only their actions are desired by Him (Psalm 1:6). The Most High wills the brokenness of the sinner so that the soul can return to Him by experiencing His salvation, love, and blessing.
El (אֵל) - I, the LORD, am the Most High, the Almighty and Omnipotent; Rachum (רַחוּם) - I, the
Most High, am merciful (rachamim (רַחֲמִים) means "mercy" and rechem(רֶחֶם) means "womb");
Chanun (חַנּוּן) - I, the Most High, am gracious; I pour out my favor freely to all of creation. (Chen (חֵן) is the word for "grace"); Erekh Apayim (אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם) - I, the Most High, am slow to anger and patient
(the word erekh means "long" and af (אַף) means "nose." The idiom erekh apayim  means "long suffering, patient"); Rav Chesed (רַב־חֶסֶד) - I, the Most High, am abundant in love (חֶסֶד) to both the righteous and the wicked;
Rav Emet (רַב־אֱמֶת) - I, the Most High, am truthful and faithful in carrying out promises; Notzer Chesed La'alafim (נצֵר חֶסֶד לָאֲלָפִים) - I, the Most High, retain chesed (love) for thousands of generations, taking into account the merit of our worthy ancestors (called zechut avot); Nosei Avon (נשֵׂא עָוֹן) - I, the Most High, forgive iniquity (avon), defined in the tradition as wrongful deeds committed with perverse premeditation; I "carry iniquity away" (nasa) for the penitent; Nosei Pesha (נשֵׂא פֶשַׁע) - I, the Most High, forgive transgression (pesha), defined as wrongful deeds committed in a rebellious spirit; Nosei Chata'ah (נשֵׂא חַטָּאָה) - I, the Most High, forgive sin (chet), defined as those wrongful deeds that were inadvertently committed; Nakkeh (נַקֶּה) - I, the Most High, will not cancel punishment, but I will clear the guilt for those who genuinely return to Me in teshuvah. For in the time of trouble (referring to the Time of Jacob 's Trouble), He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His Tabernacle, He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock." This is the Nastal the drawing in of the Bride who has made herself ready. Prophet Isaiah also referred to
this "hiding away" in chapter 26, verses 20-21: "Come, my people, enter your chambers and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little while, until the indignation is past. For behold, the Most High comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the Earth for their iniquity;" The Hebrew word for "indignation" in this verse is "zah-ham." Its literal translation means "The Most High will froth at the mouth at his displeasure. This is indeed a time of repentance you really have to recognize the signs and the seasons. We should all pray as Yeshua admonished us to do regarding this season we are in. The Most High is watching our actions that's part of the reason He has come down from His Throne: He's in The Field! He' here for You and I. "Watch, therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man." (Luke 21:26) It is in this frame of mind that we begin to turn toward the Most High that we, might be found worthy to have our names written in the Book of Life on the Day of Yom Kippur. Other warnings of judgment call for "Teshuvah" come from the mouths of the prophets: NOW ITS THIS SEASON! FROM THE PROPHET JEREMIAH "Return (Teshuvah), O backsliding Israel, says the Lord, and I will not cause My anger to fall upon you; For I am merciful, says the Lord, and I will not remain angry forever. Only acknowledge your sin, that you have transgressed against the Lord your God...and you have not obeyed my voice...Return (Teshuvah), O backsliding children, says the Lord, for I am betrothed to you...and I will bring you to Zion..." (Jeremiah 3:12-15) FROM THE PROPHET JOEL "Blow the shofar in Zion (REMEMBER, the shofar is blown everyday during the time of Teshuvah) and sound an alarm in My holy mountain. Now therefore, says the Lord, Turn to Me (Teshuvah) with all your heart, with fasting, weeping, and with mourning... Return to the Lord, your God (Teshuvah)..."
(Joel 2:1 and 12-13) FROM THE PROPHET HOSEA "Come and let us return to the Lord (Teshuvah); For He has torn but he will heal us..." (Hosea 6:1) FROM THE PROPHET EZEKIEL "Thus says the Lord God, Repent, turn away (Teshuvah) from your idols and turn your faces
(Teshuvah) away from all your abominations." (Ezekiel 14:6) FROM THE PROPHET ZECHARIAH
"Thus says the Lord of hosts: Return to Me (Teshuvah) and I will return to you (God makes Teshuvah)...Do not be like your fathers to whom the former prophets preached saying, Thus says the Lord of hosts: Turn now from your evil ways (Teshuvah) and from your evil deeds. But they did not hear nor did they heed Me, says the Lord." (Zechariah 1:3-4) FROM THE PROPHET JOHN, THE BAPTIST"...Repent (Teshuvah), for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 3:2) Not only was this during the time of Teshuvah, but from his very words, we can know this was the eve of Yom Kippur. It was the final call for repentance before the Day of the Covering of sin (Yom Kippur).
FROM THE APOSTLE PETER (Shimon Kiefa)  "Repent, therefore, (Teshuvah) and be converted
(to be turned away from--again, Teshuvah) that your sins my be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
" (Acts 3:19)  Again, this is a picture of the time of Teshuvah just prior to Yom Kippur, for it was on the day of Yom Kippur that we turn from our wicked ways sins were blotted out.  We should always walk in an attitude of Teshuvah. The Apostle John wrote in his first epistle: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1st John 1:9) TESHUVAH FROM THE BOOK OF REVELATION A MESSAGE TO THE SEVEN CHURCHES  Rev. 2 - CHURCH AT EPHESUS --Lord acknowledges all the good works, BUT
"You have left your first love. Therefore, repent (Teshuvah) and do the first works. What are they?
(See Matthew 22:37) "Shema" of Deut. 6:5 You shall love the Lord...this is the first commandment... first mitzvoh... Torah is the first works and the first love. Yeshua is the Torah... He is the Word made flesh. Vs. 5 Repent (Teshuvah), lest Yeshua removes your lampstand--your Menorah. Rev 1:20 refers to the 7 churches as the 7 menorah of God.
Read Matt: 5:14-19--
a. You are a Menorah
b. All may see your good "works" -- first works
c. Fulfilled Law and Prophets (Give a proper interpretation)
d. Whoever teaches Torah will be called "Great" in the Kingdom - 1st works

Vs. 7 "Let him who has an ear..." He who overcomes...(subdue, conquer flesh) they will eat from the tree of life (Keep your place in Revelation 2 and turn to Revelation 22:14) Who gets to eat from the tree of life? Torah is the means to overcoming in this life.  Vs 8 CHURCH AT SMYRNA - This Church represents Believers who are persecuted and martyred -especially during the Tribulation. Vs 10 Tribulation 10 days --
Hebrew idiom for the original 10 days of Teshuvah between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Be faithful to the end (to the end of Jacob 's Trouble) Be faithful to the end.. Vs 11 Let him who has
a  ear....to him that overcomes Vs 12 CHURCH OF PERGAMOS - Vs 14 Doctrine of Balaam who Israel to eat things sacrificed to idols and commit sexual immorality  Vs 16 Repent (Teshuvah)
Vs 17 He who has an ear to hear....and to him who overcomes will I give...Vs 18 CHURCH OF THYATIRA  Vs 20 Jezebel Spirit --same as doctrine of Balaam -- eat things sacrificed to idols and commit immorality  Vs 21 She was given a season (in Greek) to repent (Teshuvah) Vs 22 She and those with her will be cast into great tribulation for not repenting  Vs 26 He who over comes will I give... Vs 29 Let Him who has an ear to hear... Chapter 3 - CHURCH OF SARDIS Vs. 3 Hold fast
and repent (Teshuvah) -- Thief in the night  Vs. 4 Some have defiled wedding garments Vs. 5 He who overcomes... Vs. 6 He who has an ear to hear... Vs. 7 CHURCH OF PHILADELPHIA - The Church of who know how to love like our Lord. Vs 10 Because you have kept My commandment (Torah) to persevere, I will keep you from the hour of trial (Tribulation) which shall come upon the whole world to test those who dwell on the earth.  Vs 12 He who overcomes Vs 13 He who has an ear to hear...Vs 14 CHURCH OF LAODICEA  Vs 15 Works are neither hot nor cold--no commitment to Torah  Vs 19 Repent (Teshuvah) Vs 21 To him who overcomes...Vs 22 He who has an ear to hear... With that we enter the Door, that is the Messiah... CHAPTER 4 -- "After this I looked, and, behold, a Door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, 'Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.' 2 And immediately I was in the spirit; and, behold, a Throne was set in heaven, and One sat on the Throne." This is a Hebrew idiom for the day of Rosh Hashanah, and the beginning of the 10 days of Teshuvah. A Time of Jacob's Trouble. "For affliction does not come forth from the dust, nor does trouble spring up out of the ground; man is born unto trouble as the sparks fly upward" (Job 5: 6 –7). For six thousand years mankind has known very little joy. True happiness has been elusive and fragmentary. The history of the human race is more accurately characterised by "trouble," wars, gloom, sickness, death and endless tribulation of every sort. Job was certainly not alone in his suffering, both mental and physical, for suffering is universal. Yeshua (Jesus) said, "In this world you will have tribulation… but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33). All trouble originates from the sin of Adam and Eve and the curse that God imposed on the whole earth at that time, including even the world of nature (Romans 8: 22).
No one else but God can declare the end from the beginning and accurately predict the future thousands of years in advance. The word of God that came to Jeremiah the prophet: This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: "Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you. The days are coming," declares the Lord, "when I will bring my people Israel and Judah back from captivity and restore them to the land I gave their forefathers to possess," says the Lord. Jeremiah 30:1- 3 These are
the words the Lord spoke concerning Israel and Judah: This is what the Lord says: "Cries of fear are heard - terror, not peace. Ask and see: Can a man bear children? Then why do I see every strong man with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labour, every face turned deathly pale? How awful that day will be! None will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for Jacob, but he will be saved out of it." Jeremiah 30:1 –7 Why is this time called "the time of Jacob's trouble"? Is there a parallel between what is taking place today in Israel and what happened to the Hebrew people's forefather Jacob, when he returned to the Land of Promise? Yes, there is! In the story of Jacob, God has given us a clear picture of what is happening to His people today, and also of what will soon take place. Jacob was the son who had the blessing and promise of God. But it was not until he returned to his homeland that
he fulfilled his destiny. After a life-changing encounter with God, Jacob the "heal grabber," became Israel, "Prince with God." The return of Jacob from serving under Laban, is a prophetic picture of what will happen to Jacob's descendants in the end times. In the book of Genesis, chapters 31 to 33, we read about the return of Jacob to the Land of Promise. It begins by saying, "Jacob heard that Laban’s sons were saying, 'Jacob has taken everything our father owned and has gained all this wealth from what belonged to our father.' And Jacob noticed that Laban’s attitude toward him was not what it had been.'"
(Genesis 31:1 - 2)  "Then the Lord said to Jacob, 'Go back to the land of your fathers and to your relatives, and I will be with you.'" (Genesis 31:3) Despite their sin, rebellion and unbelief, God has been with the Hebrew people throughout their long history. "Hear the word of the LORD, O nations; proclaim it in distant coastlands: 'He who scattered Israel will gather them and will watch over his flock like a shepherd.'" (Jeremiah 31:10 and vs. 28) God has promised to watch over Israel like a shepherd watches over his flock ~~~ Nothing ~ is a coincidence when it comes to Israel! Nothing ~ happens to His people without the permission of the Shepherd of Israel! But this Shepherd is different; He laid down His life for His sheep, the lost sheep of the House of Israel. The resurrected Shepherd will gather His sheep again and this time they will know His voice and come to Him. The Bible says that "He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps" (Psalm 121:4). Both the Bible and history tell us that God is behind the return of the Hebrew people back to their own land in our day.
He said in Micah 4:6 - 7, "'In that day,' declares the LORD, 'I will gather the lame; I will assemble the exiles and those I have brought to grief. I will make the lame a remnant, those driven away a strong nation.'" Immediately, after Jacob had left an upset and angry Laban and having burnt all the bridges behind him, the angels of God met him. When Jacob saw them, he said, "This is the camp of God!" So Jacob named that place Mahanaim (Genesis 32:1-2). "Mahanaim" means two hosts or two camps.
Like Jacob when he returned to his own land, the Hebrews today are faced with a bitter and wounded brother who has sworn to kill them ~~~ Esau held a grudge against Jacob because the blessing his father had given him. He said to himself, "The days of mourning for my father is near; then I will kill my brother Jacob" (Genesis 27:41). The Bible says that Jacob sent messengers ahead of him to tell Esau that he only wanted to live in peace with him (Genesis 32: 3–5). This is so much like Israel today, just as God had a plan for Jacob; He also has a very special plan for Israel today ~ He is after
their hearts! No matter how hard Israel tries, real peace will not come until the Hebrew people have met "face to face" (Peniel Le Peniel) with Yeshua as their Messiah, and been changed by Him (Genesis 32: 30).
What a day that will be! Neither religion nor politics is the answer. God himself is the only answer to Israel’s peace problem today! The Bible says that Esau was coming out to meet Jacob with four hundred men. Four is the number of the earth and also of the flesh. The number 400 is often mentioned in the Bible in connection with military might (Judges 20:2, 1 Samuel 22:2; 25:13; 30:10). When Jacob heard the news of this army coming against him, it says, in great fear and distress Jacob divided the people who were with him into two groups, and the flocks and herds and camels as well. He thought, "If Esau comes and attacks one group, the group that is left may escape." Then Jacob
prayed ~ Genesis 32:7 -13, 24; "O God of my father Abraham, God of my father Isaac, O LORD, who said to me, Go back to your country and your relatives, and I will make you prosper, I am unworthy of all the kindness and faithfulness you have shown your servant. I had only my staff when I crossed this Jordan, but now I have become two groups. Save me, I pray, from the hand of my brother Esau, for I am afraid he will come and attack me, and also the mothers with their children. But you have said, I will surely make you prosper and will make your descendants like the sand of the sea, which cannot be counted." This was the start of a time of Jacob’s trouble ~~~ Jacob’s heart began to soften from the heat of the fire that he is going through. He sent the people ahead of him with generous gifts to his brother Esau. But Jacob was still afraid! Jacob wrestles with God ~~~ "So Jacob's gifts went on ahead of him, but he himself spent the night in the camp. So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak." (Gen 32:21)
Jacob's real problem was not with man, but with God. He had spent twenty years in a foreign land with the promise of God over his life, but the time comes when we are to return to all that He has given us!!

Songs of Solomon 6:3,13
3 I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine: he feedeth among the lilies. 13 Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? As it were the company of two armies.

As we examine our hearts and our actions are lined up with what is on the interior areas of our thoughts. Understanding that the month of Elul the last month of the Hebrew calendar, August in the Greco Roman calendar. With in this month our relationship and integrity towards Elohim and one another is fully examined. Elul is a special month of returning back to the fullness of the law, love God and your fellow man.

But what if you say you love Elohim and your fellow man and yet not love who you are? The idea of not loving yourself can not go along with not loving The Most High as well as yourself. There is what we call a heart condition.

The relationship we develop with The Most High should cause exposure to who we are and how we see as He sees us. The causes mankind to respond to loving one another. How can we say we love Abba and can’t love one another. The only conclusion is lack of self love.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

1 John 4:20-21 20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

In this special month leading up to The Hebrew new year Yom Kippur. It is known among the traditions that The King is in the field. Meaning our King Ahaya Asher Ahaya has come from His throne of sovereignty . To personally see about His covenant keeping children. To become face to face as intimate as it can get. Have you ever felt like Abba has turned His back on you? You petition and pray you praise and proclaim. You stay as faithful as one can dawned in this dirt body subjected to all the tempting elements of this earth. Yet you feel a disconnection or a block in your flow with Abba. As if your at odds or back to back with the oneness in our relationship with Abba.
Let’s go a little deeper and talk about the connection of being face to face and back to back with Elul.

The symbol of the heart is probably one of the most well-known symbols. Spanning continents, cultures, religions, languages, that little red heart means love. How is the image of the heart, as we most commonly know it, the symbol for this passionate experience of love?

The month that we are now in, Elul, is the key to unlocking the inner and most potent meaning of the heart. As is well known, the Hebrew letters that make the word “Elul,” aleph, lamed, vav and lamed, are an acronym for the phrase (from the biblical Song of Songs) ani l’dodi v’dodi li, which means “I am to my beloved and my beloved is to me.” This beautiful and romantic phrase is that which represents our relationship with our Creator, which is often paralleled to that of a husband and wife, a bride and groom, in our individual lives.

At the beginning of Elul we are achor el achor, meaning “back to back,” and by the end of Elul we are panim el panim, “face to face.” But how can it be that we are back to back? Wouldn’t that imply that G d has His back turned to us as well? How can we say such a thing, when this is the month in which “the King is in the field”? Is it not the month when G d is more accessible than ever, when He is waiting for us to greet Him, when He is there for us in the “field” of our everyday lives?

The fact that we are described as “back to back” and then “face to face” is an incredible lesson. Often, when we feel angry, hurt, abandoned, whatever the root of our pain may be, we turn our back. When our back is turned, we have no idea of the state of the other. And it is often easier to believe that we are not the only one with a turned back. It is easier to think the other also turned around, that the other isn’t facing us at all, because if that is the case, then even if we turn around it won’t help, so why bother. Why make that first move only to turn around and see the back of the other?

It is the month of Elul that teaches us the necessity of being willing to turn around. The King is in the field, our Creator is there, and no matter how we may feel, He has never had His back turned. All we need to do is turn ourselves around to realize that He is there and waiting for us. The “back to back” that we experience in the beginning of the month is based on our misperceptions, our fears, our assumptions. Only when we turn around do we realize the truth, the inner essence, and then we are “face to face,” which does not only mean that we can finally look at each other, but more so, that we can look in each other—for the root of the word for face, panim, is the same as pnimiyut, which means “innerness.”

So this is why and how Elul is the month that begins back to back and ends face to face. At the beginning of the month we are unaware of the reality that “I am to my beloved and my beloved is to me.” However, by working on ourselves during this month, by being willing to turn around and make changes, we come to realize that our Creator has never had His back turned.

Join us as the Spirit of Abba teaches us about our relationships with Abba and one another on light of The King is in the field. What does that mean to us and our relationship towards one another.

Elul--From Back To Back, Then Face To Face!!

Song of Solomon 2; Revelation 2

We are walking in today: Weekend Meditation--Elul:  From Back To Back, Then Face To Face!!

Love. It is the most powerful of human emotions. We all crave it. We cannot live without it. And yet it is so overwhelming, so all-encompassing, that there is no way to measure it, prove it, define it, or even describe it.

When we speak of the intellect, it is represented by the mind. And when we speak of the emotions, specifically of love, they are represented by the heart. But why?

When our back is turned, we have no idea of the state of the otherThe symbol of the heart is probably one of the most well-known symbols. Spanning continents, cultures, religions, languages, that little red heart means love. It is used to sign letters, to represent the word “love” itself, and has inundated the buyers’ market by being plastered on cards, T-shirts, necklaces, balloons and just about everything else.

How is the image of the heart, as we most commonly know it, the symbol for this passionate experience of love?

The month that we are now in, Elul, is the key to unlocking the inner and most potent meaning of the heart. As is well known, the Hebrew letters that make the word “Elul,” aleph, lamed, vav and lamed, are an acronym for the phrase (from the biblical Song of Songs) ani l’dodi v’dodi li, which means “I am to my beloved and my beloved is to me.”

This beautiful and romantic phrase is that which represents our relationship with our Creator, which is often paralleled to that of a husband and wife, a bride and groom, in our individual lives.

At the beginning of Elul we are achor el achor, meaning “back to back,” and by the end of Elul we are panim el panim, “face to face.” But how can it be that we are back to back? Wouldn’t that imply that Most High has His back turned to us as well? How can we say such a thing, when this is the month in which—the King is in the field”? Is it not the month when the Most High is more accessible than ever, when He is waiting for us to greet Him, when He is there for us in the “field” of our everyday lives?

The fact that we are described as “back to back” and then “face to face” is an incredible lesson. Often, when we feel angry, hurt, abandoned, whatever the root of our pain may be, we turn our back. When our back is turned, we have no idea of the state of the other. And it is often easier to believe that we are not the only one with a turned back. It is easier to think the other also turned around, that the other isn’t facing us at all, because if that is the case, then even if we turn around it won’t help, so why bother. Why make that first move only to turn around and see the back of the other?

But this rationalization is the cause of many unsettled arguments, hurt feelings, and broken relationships. How classic is the scene, played out endlessly in movies, of the couple who walk away from one another. At some point the man turns around, wanting to call her name, ask for another chance, beg for forgiveness. He is about to speak, but realizes that her back is turned. She is walking away. He tells himself that it is too late, she just doesn’t care. So he turns back around. Seconds later, she turns to look at him. She doesn’t want this to end. She wants to say something, but can’t garner the courage, doesn’t have the strength. And why, why should she, when his back is turned? The month of Elul teaches us the necessity of being willing to turn aroundShe looks at him longingly, but it just doesn’t matter—she assumes he couldn’t care less as he continues to walk away from her. And we, the viewers, sit on the edge of our seats, hoping that maybe they will both turn around at the same second, that they will finally realize that the other does care, that even though they appear to be back to back, they really want to be face to face. Sometimes that fairytale ending does happen; other times they simply continue to walk in opposite directions, right out of each other’s lives.

Only when we turn around do we realize the truth, the inner essence, and then we are “face to face,” which does not only mean that we can finally look at each other, but more so, that we can look in each other—for the root of the word for face, panim,is the same as pnimiyut, which means “innerness.”

So now the question is how this lesson is taught to us, not only in the month of Elul, but through the name “Elul” itself. A Hebrew name is not a mere way of referring to something, but actually represents its soul. Every parent is gifted with divine inspiration when he or she names a child. It is the name that represents the deepest aspects of this person. This understanding allows us to uncover the essential meaning of a Hebrew word, we need to analyze the letters that comprise it, their numerical value, their form and their meaning.

As we said above, the word “Elul” is comprised of an aleph, followed by a lamed, followed by a vav, followed by the final letter, another lamed. The first letter in “Elul” is also the first letter in the Hebrew alphabet. The letter aleph is numerically equivalent to one, which represents the idea of the Most High’s total unity.

So now we must answer how all of this is related to the heart. Here is where our lameds are once again defined. At this point it is important to think again about the symbol of the heart and to question its origin. And so it should come as no surprise that the meaning of this symbol will once again be found in the word for “heart” itself.

In Hebrew, the word for heart is lev, which is spelled lamed-beit. The word lev, lamed–beit, needs to be understood as two lameds. This is because the letter beit is the second letter in the alphabet, and is numerically equivalent to two. So he explains that the word needs to be read and understood as “two lameds.”

But it is not enough to have two lameds--in order for their to be a relationship, the two lameds need to be connected. They need to be face to face. When we turn around the second lamed to face the first, we form the image of the Hebrew Heart. While the heart, as we are used to seeing it, is quite clear in this form, an entirely new part of the heart is also revealed.

The heart and the love it represents can thrive, can flourish, only when there is a totality in connection. This is because the letter lamed is the tallest of all the letters in the Hebrew alphabet. The reason is because the lamed represents the concept of breaking out of boundaries, of going beyond your potential, of entering the superconscious from the conscious.

The lamed also means two things simultaneously. It means both “to learn” and “to teach,” which shows us that the two are intertwined and both are essential. In a relationship, I must be willing to learn from the other, thereby making myself a receiver. Yet the other person also must be able to learn from me, which then makes me the teacher, the giver.

Furthermore, the image of the lamed can be broken down into three other letters. The top part of the letter is that of a yud, the smallest of the Hebrew letters, and the letter that represents the head. The head contains the mind, the intellect, and also the face.

The next letter in “Elul” is a vav. In Hebrew, the vav  serves as a conjuctive “and.” As a word, vav means “hook,” and in its form it looks like a hook. So in this case the vav is the hook which is connecting the yud, the mind, with the bottom letter, the chaf,  which represents the body. Physically speaking, it symbolizes the neck, which transports the flow of blood from the brain to the heart.

This teaches us that the heart, that the love that it represents, can thrive, can flourish, only when there is a totality in connection. The Hebrew heart, true love, represents a mind-to-mind, face-to-face, eye-to-eye, body-to-body, soul-to-soul connection. The vav, the connection between the head and the heart, must always stay healthy, with a clear flow. If anything cuts it off, the relationship cannot continue. As we all know, one of the quickest ways to kill a person is a slit right across the neck. The neck is our lifeline. It ensures that our head, our intellect, rules above our emotions, and that there is a healthy interchange between the mind and the heart.

The heart that we are all familiar with, the symbol that represents love throughout the world, lacks the yud and the vav; it is missing the mind and the neck. The popular symbol represents only the physical connection between bodies.

He has always been facing us, and just waiting for us to turn around. And once we do, we are then like two lameds that are face to face, which form the Hebrew heart and which are the essence of the month of Elul.

Elul then must be understood as an aleph, representing the the Most High, followed by a lamed, vav, lamed—a lamed that is connected (vav) to the other lamed.

And the Hebrew heart, this idea of love as a totality of connection, is not merely the work for the month of Elul, but is the entire purpose of our creation. This Hebrew heart is a symbol for why we were created and what we are meant to accomplish. For the Torah is the blueprint of creation, and the guidebook of how we connect to the divine. And it is not a book that has a beginning, middle and end, but rather a scroll, since we are taught that the “end is wedged in the beginning, and the beginning in the end.”

So what do we find when the Torah scroll’s end rolls into the beginning? How does the Torah end and begin? The last word of the Torah is Yisrael, Israel, which ends with the letter lamed; and the first word is bereishit, meaning “in the beginning,” which begins with a beit. When we join the first and last letters of the Torah, we have lev, the Hebrew word for heart.

May we be blessed with the ability to tap into the powers of the month of Elul, to recognize and reveal our ability to both learn and teach, and through that, to come face to face with ourselves, with our loved ones and with our Creator, as we are taught through the Hebrew heart.

Shema Selah, as we turn, return and teshuva to the Most High, casting down all corruption within ourselves we must make no room of dysfunction to operate.  The King is in the field and seeking what you may ask of Him!!  Facebook LIVE video   https://scontent.fapa1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t42.9040-29/10000000_194181354454966_4321977469151215616_n.mp4?efg=eyJybHIiOjE1MDAsInJsYSI6NDA5NiwidmVuY29kZV90YWciOiJzZCJ9&rl=1500&vabr=575&oh=6fec89753360f0e5e8ffff6d9235613b&oe=59A053EE

This Is Our Divine Appointment Elul--The King Is Definitely In The Field!!!

The Hebrew month of Elul initiates a 40 day period called Teshuvah. This is the Hebrew word for “repent”. It is a time to turn toward Abba our Father. People are called to turn and repent repent, and change course. It is a time of inward reflection and sincere self-assessment. The goal is a change in lifestyle to obedience in Abba's word. This is the season to prepare for Rosh Hashanah and the Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur. The 40 day period Teshuvah (repentance) ends on Tishri 10, Yom Kippur. August 21 first day of Elul was a new moon on a Hebrew calendar, this is the year 5777. The King is near. This season of Teshuvah is unique. The 40 day period will be ushered in with a solar eclipse. Please see our Amazing Abba. What is the significance of this time in season? It's repentance and self reflection the need to truly search our hearts. This is the season of a great alignment in ours and lives. The Most High stated from the beginning He will communicate through the sun, moon, and stars. See what time it is? Genesis 1:14 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years…” The celestial bodies are Abba's time clock. This is His daytime planner and calendar. There are multiple purposes for these lights and they are stated clearly. One, the lights are to separate day and night. Two, they are signs. Three, they are time markers (seasons, holy days appointments, days, and years).

Elul Time To Turn And Repent!
Let them be for signs and for seasons The Hebrew word for “signs” is ‘owth. It means: sign, signal, a distinguishing mark, banner, remembrance, miraculous sign, omen, warning; token, ensign, standard, miracle, proof the Most High's signature: Elul The King is in the Field. Fiveamprayer, we have to see what time it is!??! The Hebrew word for “seasons”is mow`ed (singular); mow`edim (plural). It means: appointed place, appointed time, Divine Appointments meeting; sacred season, set feast, appointed season; appointed meeting; appointed sign or signal; tent of meeting--FiveAm family we are in the Month of Elul! Pay attention to this, month that begin on August 21st was the 1st day of Elul. The King, our Abba, is in the field right now!! What I realize in this Elul is we are walking in a double double portion. Wow the Most High!! In such awe of HIM!!! This Elul in this season with this solar eclipse the Most High is calling The United States from coast to coast to repent of their ways. Change their hearts and return to the Most High. If not, judgment is coming. Pay attention to the signs and seasons!!

We all have free will with the capacity to change our ways. FiveAm family here is a question? Do you truly know what time it is? Do you truly understand why The Most High is having you and I go over the Jezebel spirit, teaching us how important it is to have the Spirit of Leadership which means why we need to look at ourselves and repent? During the month of Elul the shofar is to be blown everyday-- time to wake the sleeping church!! We need to really truly wake up. The time of repentance is so important in this season, this month of Elul is to prepare for court - the month the King is in the Field! We will know Abba's calendar in this very month of Elul. Joel 2:1 Blow a trumpet in Zion; sound an alarm on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming; it is near. The Need To recognize pride which Abba hates and why we need to also watch out for arrogance. “There are certain character traits which a person is forbidden to accustom himself in, even in moderation. Rather, he must distance himself to the opposite extreme. One such trait is haughtiness. For the ideal path is not that one be humble (‘anav’) all alone; he must be lowly of spirit (‘shefal ru’ach’), and exceedingly unassuming (‘rucho nemucha’). Likewise it is said of Moses that he was “very humble” (Numbers 12:3) — not merely humble. So too did the Sages command us: “Be xceedingly lowly of spirit”. The Sages likewise stated that one conceited in his heart has denied G-d, as the verse states: “Lest your heart grows haughty and you forget the L-rd your G-d” (Deut. 8:14).
The Sages stated further, “Damned if one has arrogance… even partially” the same
goes for pride which is a close relative. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil.—Because there can never be any truce between the kingdoms of light and darkness (Matthew 6:24), so if we are the friend of one, we must be the enemy of the other. Pride and arrogancy . . . do I hate.—See above on Proverbs 6:17. Proverbs 8:13. The fear of the Lord — Which he had before said to be the beginning of wisdom; is to hate evil — It consists in a careful abstinence from all sin, and that not from carnal or prudential motives, but from real hatred to it, on account of its contrariety to the divine nature and attributes, its opposition to God’s word and will, its infinite evil in itself, and its eternally destructive consequences; pride — Which he mentions first, as that which is most hateful to God, and most opposite to true wisdom, and to the genuine fear of God, which constantly produces humility; and the evil way — All wicked actions, especially sinful customs and courses; and the froward mouth, do I hate — False doctrines, and bad counsels, and deceits. Of his grace abound in all wisdom and prudence. Man found out many inventions for ruin; The Most High found one for our recovery. He hates pride and arrogance, evil ways and froward conversation; these render men unwilling to hear his humbling, awakening, holy instructions. True instructions gives men the best counsel in all difficult cases, and helps to make their way plain. His wisdom makes all truly happy who receive it
in the love of Yeshua. Seek him early, seek him earnestly, seek him before any thing else. Yesuah never said, Seek in vain. Those who love Yesuah are such as have seen his loveliness, and have had his love shed abroad in their hearts; therefore they are happy. They shall be happy in this world, or in that which is beyond compare better. Wealth gotten by vanity will soon be diminished, but that which is well got, will wear well; and that which is well spent upon works of piety and charity, will be lasting. If they have not riches and honour in this world, they shall have that which is infinitely better. They shall be happy in the grace of the Most High. Messiah, by his Spirit, guides believers into all truth, and so leads them in the way of righteousness; and they walk after the Spirit. Also, they shall be happy in the glory of the Most High. In Wisdom's promises, believers have goods laid up, not for days and years, but for eternity; her fruit therefore is better than gold. Proverbs 8:2-6 She standeth in the top of high places — Where she may be best seen and heard; not in corners, and in the dark, as the harlot did; by the way in the places of the paths — Where many paths meet, where there is a great concourse, and where travellers may need direction. She crieth at the gates — The places of judgment, and of the confluence of the people; at the entry of the city — To invite passengers at their first coming, and to conduct them to her house; at the coming in of the doors — Namely, of her house, as the harlot stood at her door to invite lovers. Unto you, O men, I call — To all men without exception, even to the meanest and most unworthy. O ye simple — Who want knowledge and experience, and are easily deceived; and ye fools — Wilful sinners. Hear, for I will speak excellent things — princely things; things worthy of princes to learn and practice. Or such as excel common things, as much as princes do ordinary persons. Proverbs 8:3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors. Proverbs 8:4 Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man. Proverbs 8:5 O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart. Proverbs 8:6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things. Proverbs 8:7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. Proverbs 8:7-10. For my mouth shall speak truth — shall meditate, that is, shall speak, not rashly and hastily, but what I have well considered and digested. Wickedness is an abomination, . — I hate to speak it; therefore you may be assured I shall not deceive you. All the words of my mouth —All my precepts, promises, threatenings are in righteousness — Are perfectly just and holy, and conformable to the rules of everlasting righteousness. There is nothing froward or perverse, — Not the least mixture of vanity, or error, or folly in them, as there is in the words of the wisest philosophers. They are all plain — Evident and clear, or right, just, and good; to him that understandeth — To him who, with an honest mind, applies himself to the study of them, in the diligent use of all the means appointed by the Most High and to that end: or to him whose mind the Most High hath enlightened by his Spirit, though they seem otherwise to ignorant and carnal men; to them that find knowledge — That are truly wise and discerning persons, and taught of God. Receive my instruction, and not silver — Rather than silver, that is, preferably to silver: or, the meaning may be, “Give not your heart to money, if you would possess wisdom.” For he seems to intimate the inconsistency of these two studies and designs, and the great hinderance which the love of riches gives to the study of wisdom. Indeed, it is impossible to join these two things together, the love of the world and the love of the Most High, which is here implied in the love of wisdom.
Proverbs 8:8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. Proverbs 8:9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. Proverbs 8:10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. Proverbs 8:11 For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. Proverbs 8:12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.
Do you know what time it is??!?! Amen!

Rev 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

2 King 9:22 And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?

Just as the call to anoint a new king. That would uphold the precious words given to Moses by Yahweh. Passed down through Israel's history as a guideline to life from the Kings. To lead Israel to the only path The Most High prescribed for his children. The call for the keepers of the sacred manuscript are instructed by Abba to teach and preach the truth and nothing but. To confront the powers of darkness this Jezebel's spiritual influenced over Israel.

Intertwined with the darkness own agents. Combined with this Celestial Being in their mission to wreak havoc. Forming this unholy alliance, ultimately the goal of devastation. Corrupting anything that resembles the authority of The Most High and establishing the kingdom of darkness at any cost. The deception of half-truths and pagan doctrine mixed with the truth. Spearheaded by a cunning and ancient Jezebel caused assimilation and false duplicates of the truth to infiltrate without detection.

Only to the train eye of a prophet and the Ruach HaKodesh can she be exposed. As Elijah was called exposing the acts of Ahab and Jezebel and the rebellion of a nation.

The warning of The Most High not to tolerate this Jezebel spirit. Was so great to be mentioned in Revelations chapter 2. Yeshua said you have this only against a functioning Torah keeping body. They tolerated this Jezebel spirit. How many times have you seen folks leave the church due to unruly clergy members? Who cared more for their positions and titles than the welfare of the kingdom and its congregational care.

These clergymen have been brought up to leadership and more than several occasions. Only to be pacified if that and a little reprimanding. With no real serious repercussions to the effects and intentions of their actions. Often these relationship are tied to unholy alliances. Members of monetary substances pay their options and influence on weak and greedy leaders. Whose focus is on material gain instead of spiritual.

The question that should be from leadership. What were the motives? Are the actions of these leaders in the body aligned with the kingdom of El Elyon or HaSatan? Once discovered the actions are aligned with darkness. Sever the clergyman or members that are agents of darkness if they are unrepentant. The tolerance of this spirit causes church members to Divide, dwindle, bicker and murmur amongst each other. Opening the door for a service to be uninhabited by the Ruach HaKodesh. Dry and uneventful strife and confusion. All because of not discerning unholy alliances. As Abba instructed us not to be unequally yoked. Kind of like a rotten fruit in the barrel effect. Remove the rotten fruit so it won't spoil the whole

Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. -CJB

2 Corinthians 6:14  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

The rotten apple that spreads and affects everything within its reaches. Spiritually Jezebel's in holy alliance operates the same way. Spreading its way throughout the body contaminating, sowing discord and questioning the leadership authority at every turn. Gaining strength and more like minded individuals. To have eventually the house of The Most High a house full of every sin imaginable. Which we have seen happening. All from tolerating this bossy, manipulative, arrogant, egotistical cunning demonic alliance.

The removal of the Jezebel spiritual influence of confusion. Is not an easy task and takes a group effort. Just as the spreading of deceit took efforts of the spreading of truth will take effort. Ultimately the pastor has the authority to remove this Spirit. But woe to the pastor entrenched in the wine of Jezebel. The efforts of the congregation has doubled in the exposure and removal of the Spirit. No easy task Revelation 2:24 supplies the example. As well as repentance turning away from ones sins.

The healing process begins.
As well as the example of the pastor removing the Jezebel spirit. Leaders must resemble the fearless Captain to King Jehu. Who tolerated no more the weak King of Israel and his heathen wife. Instead of succumbing to the seductive and powerful Influence of Jezebel. Jehu stayed true to the God of Israel and the instructions that seemed apparently the governing factor over Israel by the mesmerizing deceptions of the Queen of Israel. Jehu commanded the death of Jezebel just as the Dominion authority given to a King. The death of this ungodly alliance severed by true authority and leadership. To much had been seen and lost to place a nation into condemnation and the wrath of their Elohim. To keep allegiance with a foreign pagan alliance as evil and corruptible as the Phoenician Princes to Queen.

Revelations 2:24 Notwithstanding, I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, who calleth herself a prophetess,to teach and to seduce My servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. – CJB

2 Kings 9:32-33 32 And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is on my side? who? And there looked out to him two or three eunuchs. 33 And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot.

For this spirit thrives off of insecurities and unrepentant heart. Remember the Jezebel spirit conjoins with lesser principalities. So everyone is acceptable to the influence of a Jezebel spirit. Teshuvah. .. turn away from and get healing leaders and clergyman followers and participants alike. It's okay not to be okay. Mature children of The Most High knows that.

The works of darkness have no place behind the scenes of the assemblies of The Most High. Clergyman gossiping, swapping testimonials of inappropriate private counseling sessions, bickering and murmuring amongst each other. Private accusations formed by single individuals. Unchecked by protocol which is by two or three witnesses. The exchange for chaos and degradation from decency and order. With the acceptance of these practices as the norm in the clergy.

It is a influenced and the remedy is to turn away from -Teshuvah- (repent) CONFRONT all rebellion against authority committed by members to each other!!!! Returning from whatever source of the rebellion that caused the spirit of Jezebel to manifest.

So in conclusion. 1 Kings 9 space of a change of authority that was lost or stolen. Due to the rebellion and lack of leadership by the previous ruler. Whom we know was under the influence of what we call the Jezebel spirit. The Kingdom of Israel was being rescued from apostasy, ungodly alliances and rebellion. From their Elohim by their Elohim. Their acts of pagan and Idol worship was forgiven. The remedy to kill Jezebel and the offspring of all hers and Ahab. As well the embodiment of the host, of the Celestial Being; Jezebel.

*WARNING*

REVELATIONS 2:20 But I have this against you: you continue to tolerate that Izevel woman, the one who claims to be a prophet, but is teaching and deceiving my servants to commit sexual sin and eat food that has been sacrificed to idols. – CJB

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

TESHUVAH!!!!! DO NOT TOLERATE… KILL THE FALSE SPIRIT OR DIE ALONG WITH YOUR CONGREGANTS. ALL ALLIANCES ARE NOT GODLY KNOW THE DIFFERENCE!!!

Men Of Torah Day--Beware Of Counterfeit Voices!!! Unmasking The Jezebel Spirit, By John Paul Jackson

Revelation 2; Revelation 2

We are walking in today:  Men Of Torah Day--Beware Of Counterfeit Voices!!!   Unmasking The Jezebel Spirit, By John Paul Jackson

Witness despise throughout the Bible:  H3988 ma'ac to reject, despise, refuse

Amos 5:21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.

Torah:  Leviticus 26:15, 26:43; Numbers 14:31
Prophets: Isaiah 5:24; Jeremiah 4:30, 33:24; Ezekiel 20:13; Amos 2:4
Writings: Job 5:17, 10:3, 36:5; Psalm 106:24; Proverbs 3:11

Nehemiah 4:4 Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity:

Revelation 2:20  Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

Joel 2:28-29
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

Insecurity in·se·cu·ri·ty ˌinsəˈkyo͝orədē/ noun 1. 1.
uncertainty or anxiety about oneself; lack of confidence.
"she had a deep sense of insecurity"
synonyms: lack of confidence, self-doubt, diffidence, unassertiveness, timidity, uncertainty, nervousness, inhibition;

Church's great and small. Are targets for the Jezebel spirit. The goal of the Jezebel spirit is to systematically dismantling any authoritative position held in the church. The recognition of the Jezebel Spirit may vary. But the characteristics are the same. So subtle are these characteristics. A person can be unaware of the Jezebel spirit operating even within themselves. Immature in the walk of life. But to the matured Jezebel spirit, they always appear more spiritual than who they truly are. Plus they are never wrong about anything, they are always right. Your in for a word play battle if your trying to win a argument against a person under the influence of Jezebel spirit.
Recognizing people under the influence of the Jezebel spirit generally carry signs and symptoms. Three or more is the rule of thumb and these traits are not easily detected.

Men under the influence of a Jezebel Spirit:
When the Jezebel spirit shows up in a man. The man often appears as passive an just existing. No plans no goals just going along with whatever wind blows. Men who are under the influence of Jezebel seek false leadership to take over what is not rightfully theirs. Like spoiled man babies. Almost competitive like in spirit but the ultimate goal is to kill, steal and destroy. Just like Absalom the son of David. Who wanted to be king instead of his father. An went into deceit and trickery to gain the hearts of the people. But his exposure caused him a humiliating death. As is all who are caught operating in a Jezebel spirit.

2 Sam 15: 4-6
Then Avshalom would continue, “Now if I were made judge in the land, anyone with a suit or other cause could come to me, and I would see that he gets justice!” Moreover, whenever any man came close to prostrate himself before him, he would put out his hand, take hold of him and kiss him. This is how Avshalom behaved toward anyone in Isra’el who came to the king for judgment, and in this way Avshalom stole the hearts of the people of Isra’el. - CJB

Gathering groups within the clergy. Covertly gathering week Ahab minded followers. To rally discreetly against the authority of the churches. Forming groups in the body supposedly to heal and teach. Subtly sowing seeds of rebellion and rallying to this spirits own cause. To take over and set up its own authority and replace the original. As in the same as the actions of Absalom so dose this Ahabian spirit operates.

The goal of the Jezebel spirit also is to conquer the Prophet. To shut the voice of proclamation up. To blind the spiritual eyes given to the body. By using the tactic of attachment. Subtly flattering and lifting up against the authentic voice to gain trust and private access. Twisting private words spoken in confidence. To the body in deception. (I've got a secret types) To gain further trust of the leadership and congregants. Using this tool back and forth to sow discord.

It's a divide-and-conquer tactic. To gain control and remove the prophetic voice by creating corruption, defilement, divisions, discord and deception and by spreading lies and gossip. Appearing to be spiritual and wise and full of the Ruach HaKodesh. Yet its goal is to discredit the voice of prophecy by the distortion of facts.

This Spirit constantly seeks the connection with leaders to gain favor. So that the attachment can appear as a kindred spirit, thinking alike finishing each other's thoughts. Often turns into a sexual relationship. That first attacks the emotions. (seeking needy deprived people) and discerning then fulfilling the needs that are not met. By stimulating the mind with (flattery, deads and words of affirmation, wanting to be inseparable and isolated) after all capturing the will.
For Men who are not being emotional lifted up as pastors. or supported by their wives. This Jezebel spirit comes in the form of that need. Causing adultery eventually (if married), covenant breaking, and loss of authority which is spiritual death. Then the discrediting and accusations starts.

Women under the influence of a Jezebel Spirit:
For women a consuming or magnetic desire to be around the person influenced by a Jezebel spirit. Unchecked causes an intense craving beyond the reasoning. This Spirit may appear as one's best friend, soul sister, soul brother or soul mate. Causing the overwhelming feeling of being swallowed up our suffocated.( “I only want to be around you and no one else”) Leading eventually up to the attempt to take over of ministry will come. This attachment could also be by the laying on of hands.
In these type of ungodly relationships. To break ties and teshuva will almost always cause and emotional play of guilt from a Jezebel spirit. To keep in bondage or maintain the relationship. Playing the victim tactics are enacted.

This false prophetic spirit attempting to pray over the congregate. Spreading its influence by touch. Feeding off the rejected souls with abandonment issues and gaining access and setting up shop. Is in complete contrast of the Spirit of Yahweh. It must be confronted and ousted from the body.

The authority of the prophetic ministry is not to physically overthrow a Jezebel spirit. But expose to the pastors and leaders. Just as Jehu was called to destroy Jezebel and not the prophets. Playing word wars with the spirit does nothing but prolong its presence.

That is why the prophets only job is to expose and let Jehu.. the pastor remove this spirit.. For the pastor has the divine right and authority to remove the Jezebel spirit. So prophets and the Jezebel spirit are enemies but similar in duties to their purpose. One to proclaim truth and the word of Yahweh. The other lies and the operates in the ways of HaSatan. Subduing pastoral leadership, food banks, choir, greeters, ushers in any other ministry in the body. No ministry is exempt from the cunning diabolical spirit of Jezebel. Like a predator it seeks the weakest link in authority.

Divide and conquer leaders get on the wall and stand your guard!!!! Be vigilant not ignorant on a proverbial witch hunt. The symptoms of this demonic influence if paid attention to can be noticed. A house divided against itself cannot stand.

This Jezebel spirit is attracted to the anointing. The light of Yahweh poured into his children. Catches the attention to eventually attach and work out a plan to kill and destroy the body. Just like a moth drawn to the light this spirit will appear. Subtle, full of flattery, with a sense of self humility, yet hints of subtle words of discord. Smelling insecurities a mile away.
Insecurities left unchecked in leadership positions are a sure target for the manipulating cunning spirit of Jezebel. That is why leaders are to have their identities found in Yeshua as His image and likeness. Just as the spirit recognized who belongs to Yeshua. With the sons of Sceva. It recognizes you. Casting every care and every burden for the Yoke of Yeshua we must first confront the person in the mirror or be confronted by this ancient spirit.

Shema Selah, let us consider ourselves for the areas of rejection and insecurity in our lives give room for the Jezebel spirit to enter.  Facebook LIVE video

Stop Tolerating the Jezebel Spirit!!!!! (Introduction to: Unmasking the Jezebel Spirit by John Paul Jackson)

Revelations 2; 1 Kings 19

We are walking today: Stop Tolerating the Jezebel Spirit!!!!! (Introduction to: Unmasking the Jezebel Spirit by John Paul Jackson)

Witness accept throughout the Bible: H5375 nasa'--to bear, carry, support, sustain, endure, accept

Proverbs 21:3 To do righteousness and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

Torah: Genesis 19:21, 32:20; Exodus 28:38
Prophets: 1 Samuel 18:5, 25:35; Isaiah 56:7; Jeremiah 37:20; Ezekiel 20:41
Writings: Job 13:8; Psalm 82:2; Proverbs 18:5

Isaiah 49:8 Thus has the LORD said, In an acceptable time I have heard thee, and in the day of saving health I have helped thee; and I will preserve thee and give thee for a covenant of people, that thou might awaken the earth, that thou might inherit the desolate heritages;

Revelation 2:18-24
18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.

Far to often the name Jezebel has been thrown around the church body for as long as I can remember. As a child I just remember watching some Bible movies and Jezebel was beautiful with lots of jewelry draped all over her visage. Other than that, there were two more times of hearing about Jezebel.

The second time I was attacked by that Spirit and it wasn't fun at all. In the women it was were dominating and manipulative and in men were deceiving and disgusting. All by the power of one being influence by this spirit.

As we begin the introduction before introducing the book. We must give people a preview of what they are walking into. First of all this spirit is male or female. This spirit operates as two. There is Ahab and Jezebel. This spirit will always come to attack a prophetic ministry. It tries to get you to defile yourself inwardly or outwardly to disqualify you for leadership. Remember we just got finished with The Spirit Of Leadership. The Spirit Of Jezebel hates your fellowship and wants to see you destroyed. People dread confronting the Jezebel in fear of what they will get back. This is a constant battle for people in authority. The Jezebel spirit will always try to attach itself to you. It will use key people to move in and control you! Many people who operate in a Jezebel spirit were rejected, by their fathers and have a dominating mother, not all, but many. How to recognize this spirit:

1 insecurity and rejection
2 lies and jealousy
3 pride and arrogance
4 manipulation and control

NO MORE TOLERATION ITS CONFRONTATION TIME!!!!!!!

We have heard the multiple sides of this spirit. The fact that it’s influence can be anybody or anything. Subjecting to intimidation, fear, sexual relations, lies and that's just naming a few. Other people can be influenced by this controlling spirit. By its attachment to leadership causing one to fear and doubt and even ailments.

Any case this exciting series of unmasking the spirit of Jezebel will blow your mind. Whereas only a master of a Tanakh can do. Some of the men and woman stories pulled out of the word and their identities we thought we're good people. Only to have the revelation that the people operated under the Jezebel spirit as well.

Adam and Eve for the first example. Though the king of earth Adam fell into the influence of a Ahab spirit becoming a non effective leader to his wife in teacher her the importance of obedience to the commands of the Most High. Eve for an example operated under a rebellious spirit by assuming that the word of the Most High could be changed. The commandment not to eat of the fruit of the tree of good and evil less she should surely die was given. But the words spoken to Eve from the serpent twisted Elohim's words. She was deceived and in turn deceived her husband. To imagine one to become like the Most High knowing all good and evil.

Saul the first king of Israel had the spirit of rebellion and manipulation as he spoken to the Prophet Samuel and pretty much lied about his reason for sacrificing. And goes on to a love and hate relationship with David. We even came to find out that even Jonathan, Saul’s son whom we thought love David dearly. Played with Jezebel too. Join Fiveamprayer as we continue to dismantle and master understanding--identifying and canceling the works of the Jezebel spirit in us and others. Exposure, Identification, Healing Let’s Go!!!!

Notice in Relation 2:18-29. The church of Thyatira was warned and exposed for their toleration of this spirit operating in the congregation. This counsel is to those believers who will hear, repent and break off the compromise. “The deep things of Satan” in verse 24 most likely refers to the false doctrine being taught. They taught moral evil and that its experience was necessary to truly appreciate good. Note the words “as they call them.” They were evidently teaching license as good and bragging about the debts of their sin.

Thyatira had a definite and even greater ministry of service and endurance, one that seemed to be motivated by faith and love (vs. 19), but Thyatira lacked on the side of zeal for sound doctrine, moral purity, holiness of life, and zeal against false teaching and practice. Obviously, the church needs to have both, it needs a balance or it must eventually lose its testimony and capacity for ministry.
As the Jezebel of the Old Testament enticed God’s servants to abandon their loyalty to the Lord and to participate in her idolatrous practices, so this woman of Thyatira was enticing Christians to abandon their loyalty to Christ and a separated life. Her teaching was probably similar to that of the Nicolaitans.

The adultery mentioned here includes both spiritual adultery (idolatry), and physical adultery (fornication in cultic prostitution). This is the only place adultery is indicated. The fact adultery constitutes a violation of the marriage vow could indicate that some of those who had been seduced by this Jezebel’s teaching were believers, those who had been betrothed to Christ as His bride ( 2 Cor. 11:2; Jam. 4:4)

All of this as a witness to show the exposure of the Jezebel spirit. In order for healing or ignorance to be broken. With this information we can correctly pray fully, seeking out thoroughly His word so the healing can truly begin!!  Shema Selah, let us pause and consider our ways and make the corrections according to scripture!!!  Facebook LIVE video!!

We are walking in today: Weekend Meditation--The Spirit of Leadership!!! Part 18, The Conclusion It Is Time To Cultivate Your Leadership Spirit!!!

Exodus 18:20-25
20 You should also teach them the laws and the teachings, and show them how to live their lives and what work they should do. 21 But you should choose from among all the people competent men who are God-fearing, honest and incorruptible to be their leaders, in charge of thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. 22 Normally, they will settle the people’s disputes. They should bring you the difficult cases; but ordinary matters they should decide themselves. In this way, they will make it easier for you and share the load with you. 23 If you do this — and God is directing you to do it — you will be able to endure; and all these people too will arrive at their destination peacefully.” 24 Moshe paid attention to his father-in-law’s counsel and did everything he said.  25 Moshe chose competent men from all Isra’el and made them heads over the people, in charge of thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.

Attitude #10 Self-Cultivation
Accept the power in self-empowerment.

True leaders possess the leadership attitude of self cultivation, a passion for personal development. Some marks of a genuine spirit of leadership are a desire and commitment to gain knowledge and insights, to keep improving oneself, and to learn from others.

To become the leader that you were destined to be, you must convert your home into a university and your automobile into a mobile seminar hall. Leaders know that they must never stop expanding their knowledge base. The attitude of self-cultivation also drives them to extend their knowledge beyond their particular areas of focus in order to be versatile when necessary. Leaders study beyond the realm of their own disciplines—but in ways that will advance their purposes and visions.

As you pursue the spirit of leadership, consider the following methods of self-cultivation:

• Written material: books, magazines, newspapers, journals, instructional manuals.
• Visual material: documentaries, movies, television programs, computer programs, the Internet.
• Personal contact: speakers, discussion groups, Bible study groups, professional and social organizations, counseling, friendships.
• Personal experience: the development of skills, talents, hobbies, and other areas of interest.

Leadership Attitudes to Cultivate
You become what you think.

Leaders must possess a combination of attitudes that embrace a spirit that reflects the heart and image of the Creator. Leadership is both simple and difficult because it demands an integration of the following:

1. a belief in oneself
2. a passion for one’s assignment
3. a love for people
4. a willingness and capacity to walk alone
5. a sense of satisfaction from the success of others

MANIFESTING YOUR TRUE LEADERSHIP POTENTIAL

ATTITUDE IS KEY TO LEADERSHIP, AND IT MOTIVATES YOUR BEHAVIOR. Your attitude can be transformed by the discovery of your true self-worth, your true potential, and your commitment to achieve. The leadership attitude is more concerned with fully expressing itself than with attempting to prove itself to others.

The following are what I call “Leadership Attitudes-to-Be,” or “The Leader’s ‘Beattitudes.’” They describe the mind-set that every leader must embrace, cultivate, and exhibit in his or her exercise of leadership.

THE LEADER’S BEATTITUDES

1. THE SPIRIT OF RESILIENCE—the ability to see failure as temporary and a necessary step to success.
2. THE SPIRIT OF COURAGE—the ability to transform one’s fear into a motivator for action and change.
3. THE SPIRIT OF PATIENCE—a belief in the potential of change and the ability to wait for it.
4. THE SPIRIT OF COMPASSION—a sensitivity to the worth of others.
5. THE SPIRIT OF SELF-VALUE—a belief in one’s importance to the world.
6. THE SPIRIT OF SELF-CONFIDENCE—a trust in one’s inherent abilities.
7. THE SPIRIT PERSEVERANCE—the ability never to give up or surrender to the context of a situation.
8. THE SPIRIT OF STRATEGIC THINKING—the ability to plan rather than panic.
9. THE SPIRIT OF TIME MANAGEMENT—the conscious application of time to goals.
10. THE SPIRIT OF HIGH TOLERANCE FOR DIVERSITY—a belief in the beauty and strength of variety.
11. THE SPIRIT OF SELF-COMPETITION—the practice of never comparing oneself to others but only with what one has been or done before.

Leadership is both an art and a science: It is innate and yet learned; it is inherent and yet must be developed. True leadership is the hope of the future of our world and will determine the success or failure of our homes, communities, cities, nations, and planet.

If we are going to discover the true leadership potential that resides within us, we will have to consult and refer to our omnipotent EL Elyon for the true revelation of our leadership capacity and reconnect to the true essence of our leadership assignment.

LEADERSHIP—BOTH OUR PAST AND OUR DESTINY

Leadership is truly our past and our destiny and is the only thing that will fulfill our natural passion for greatness. I challenge you to spend time with the Creator of your leadership spirit and discover the awesome joy it is to receive the power and spirit of dominion available through an intimate relationship with him.

You were born to lead—settle for nothing less. Your generation and your world await your manifestation. Do it for the unborn generations who are meant to build on the foundation of your success as a leader. Remember, the difference between a follower and a leader is attitude. We must posses the attitude of leadership. We must think, talk, walk, dress, act, respond, decide, plan, work, relate, and live like leaders. You have the leadership spirit; now you need the attitude of leadership.

We must cultivate the same attitude that eighty-five-year-old Caleb had. Forty-five years earlier, he had been one of only two men, among the ten spies sent to scout out the land, who believed that the Israelites could defeat their enemies and enter the Promised Land. When the Israelites finally did enter in and the land was being distributed, he could have chosen the easy life on the plains, but he chose the heights of the mountains.

In addition, he chose the very land of the descendants of Anak, of whom the other ten spies had said, “We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” For forty years, as the Israelites wandered in the desert, Caleb’s spirit of leadership was so strong that he apparently planned to take on the toughest and most fearful adversaries in the land once he had the opportunity.

Here was God’s response to Caleb, and I trust that this will be his response to you after you have reread this book and begun to develop the spirit of leadership in your own life: Because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it. It was his attitude that made the difference. Make it yours, too.
One thing I've notice about every great leader mentioned in the scriptures all of the where not young with only a few exceptions. Yet Abba used time to cultivate the leadership spirit inside of them and that takes time as a example for us to see. Time dedication and staying before our Master cultivates a relationship of discipleship.

SERVE YOUR GIFT TO THE WORLD

Remember that a true leader learns from others but never tries to become them. You must be true to yourself. Genuine leadership is the discovery of one’s purpose and assignment for life and the inherent gift and abilities that come with that assignment. It is the commitment to serve your gift to the world in order to enhance the lives of many.
Simply put, true leadership is serving oneself to the world. Therefore, it is not measured by how many people serve you but by how many people you serve.

Matthew 20:26  I do not want you to be like that. The person who wants to be most important person among you must be a servant to the other disciples.

The following principles are critical to your capturing the spirit of leadership for yourself and encouraging that spirit in others. All have to do with attitude.

• The growth and development of people is the highest calling of true leadership.
• True leaders work for the benefit of others and not for personal gain.
• The most important lesson of leadership is selfdevelopment.
• Don’t ever say again, “It’s too late for me to change.” It is never too late to make a change.
• Not all change is improvement, but without change, there can be no improvement.
• It’s not what you are that holds you back. It’s what you think you are not that holds you back.
• The one who influences others to lead or to become leaders is a leader without limitations.
• People tend to become what the most important people in their lives think that they will become. You can literally change people’s lives by your attitude and expectations of them.
• Successful people-developers make the right assumptions about people. Our assumptions will determine how successful we are in developing leadership in others.
• We can’t hope for things that we’re not currently working on. You will become only what you are becoming right now.

A Word to the Third World

Attitude is the power of leadership. Nothing can stop a person from achieving success who has the right attitude. You can always make up in attitude what you lack in education. Yet nothing can help the person who has the wrong attitude. Our attitudes cannot stop our feelings, but they can prevent our feelings from stopping us.

The key to success:
“Try not to become a [person] of success, but rather try to become a [person] of value.”
