We had learned and discussed at some length in the church about the mark of the beast and what happens to those who accept that which is against Almighty God, Yahweh?  It was not until this time and season that it became clear from Revelation 14 that there are two marks.  We have see throughout the Bible where hasatan, the devil has tried and has had some success in having people follow his counterfeit throughout the centuries.  The ability to create is Yahweh's alone so no matter how much power hasatan usurps, he can never create only try to duplicate with his shadows of truth, masquerading as light.  This is seen in the early church that observed the feast and times of Yahweh as did the Hebrew people who understood the appointed times were to stand forever and observed for generations.  When Yeshua walked the earth it was said often of Him, as was His custom.  This is some thing taught and observed continually.  An action that becomes as natural as breathing.  It would never enter into His mind to up and change the feast days set forth in the Tanakh and had been observed for centuries before His physical arrival.  While Yahweh's word stands and declares that He changes not--how then did we end up with Sunday worship?
This desire to separate from the Hebraic/Jewish roots of the Christian faith was the beginning process to transform the Jewish Yeshua to the Greek Jesus.  As our study has continued it is the name and much more!  What is the basis and setting of the name?  Can all of the holidays be found instructed by Yahweh in the Bible?  His feast days are all listed and described what to do, when and where, in His word!  Even the observance of days note the worship the greatness of Yahweh in the later years of the Hebraic world still adhere to His other principles.  Chanukah for example is not listed in the Tanakh as a feast day of Yahweh.  This is the time that honor is given to Yahweh for the people who would not change to another day, nor accept another god--fought and were murdered for not succumbing to the overwhelming Greek culture.  They were faced with a choice to allow pagan worship in their temple or to be slaughtered.  Many of them chose to be slaughtered than to go against any part of Yahweh's instructions that they had received and lived their lives according to for many years.  This destruction of people was not just for the strong men prepared for war but old men, women and children.  Their whole way of life from His direction was under attack to the point of death if captured or rebellion if they escaped.  Unfortunately as with the early church and the blending of the pagan with the holy happened in this time as well.  There were some that were enticed to join the Greek pagan practices even offering sacrifice of a pig on the altar in the temple to Zeus.  Which can seem like a small issue when we are not reading and understanding that specific instructions are given for what, how and when sacrifices are to be done.  This was so that the people would not give credit to any other by sacrificing in another manner.
We have to stop over looking the owners manual or users manual that tells us all that we need to know.  Sure many of us don't read those if we are good they are all piled into the junk drawers of our kitchen.  Possibly reviewed if there is a problem.  This causes us to under utilize that which we have received.  While a similar view is seen of the books in the Tanakh, we have to know that He gave them to us for a reason.  That we would study and know and not only in a panic seek out the answer, but to be in constant study for understanding and application.  How sad it must have been for Yeshua when He was asked for a sign, when they had already been given all the signs!  They were given to observe the Sabbath the seventh day of the week, forever.  His feast days, Passover, Feast of Tabernacles, Shavout for example all have scriptural basis for being observed.  The problem the enemy knows as he did then with the sacrificing of pigs on the altar, in Jerusalem and the changing of the day of worship, in the early church--that if we do not uphold Yahweh's directions in obedience that is a sign for us that He wrote His Torah in our hearts and minds.  This is also a sign to everyone else of the great, mighty and awesome Yahweh we serve!  No one else does these things, nor can they! That is His mark our observance of His feast days, which by default of observing another day of worship is the spiritual mark of the beast.  We have a lot of focus on the physical but what is the mark on our spirits?  Where is our focus, for that is what will master you!  Is there a large amount of time spent on nice sayings that are not found in any Bible?  Are the confessions alone devoid action nor bearing good fruit?  Click here to hear this awesome teaching again!!
