Today we look to the word OBEY --H8085 - shâmaʻ, shaw-mah'; a primitive root; to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively, to tell, attentively, call gather together, carefully, certainly, consent, consider, be content, declare, diligently, discern, give ear, (cause to, let, make to) indeed, listen, make (a) noise, (be) obedient, obey, perceive, make a proclaimation, publish, regard, report, shew (forth), (make a) sound, surely, tell, understand, whosoever (heareth), witness.

Preparation: Vision for a New Year--5782

I think it is very clear, that whenever a year passes, time passes. I wanted to remind you what this year should be for all of us. First of all, the new year gives us an opportunity to redefine our priorities. I want you to make a note of that and make a decision in the next few days. To take a review and take stock of your life. Are the things that I am doing, important or just urgent? Don’t confuse urgent things with important things! Secondly, a new year gives an opportunity, for us to redefine our purpose. Are we still on course, for what we were born to do? A new year also gives us an opportunity to redefine our life’s vision. Do we know exactly what we want to do for the next 25 years? Are we still inline with our clear vision for our lives? Is that vision on paper still? Has it been refined? I am doing that myself, for my own life. The new year also gives us opportunity to re-establish worthwhile goals. In other words, your goals should be worth your while. You can establish goals that waste your time. Because they don’t take you, toward your vision. So go back and don’t be afraid, to mark out some things that don’t make sense. Don’t be afraid to give up on things that are not important anymore. Don’t be afraid, to say that I was off with that, let me get back on track. It is better to do it now than to do it later. A new year also gives you an opportunity to bury the past. And to move into a future that we have not created yet. So please get over it. Tell your neighbor, get over it. Tell them whatever it was, get over it right now! Leave all the baggage that you have, in 5781! Lose yourself, cut off all of the weight!! Get rid of stuff that has been a distraction and forget the past. That is what a new year does. It is a powerful change.




This is so important, I want you to turn to Ephesians chapter 5, which gives great advice about your life. It begins by saying, wake up! Paul was not talking to sleeping people, physically. He was speaking to people who were sleeping through life. He is speaking to those with the routine, boring, day to day, same traffic jams, same clothes, same friends, same activities, same habits, same tv shows. He says, wake up!! You can be walking and sleep! You can spend years sleepwalking! Wake up o, sleeper!! Arise, that means get yourself up!! Arise means that no one is going to change your condition. Arise is self initiated action. Nothing will change this year, until you change it!! Wake up!! How many of you wake up but did not arise? Some of you all woke up at 7am but did not actually arise until 9am. So you woke up at 7 but did not get up until 9. People love to go to watch night services to wake up--but once the meeting is over they go back to sleep, for the whole year!




Arise!! After you wake up!! Then he says, and let HaMaschiach shine upon you! HaMaschiah means the anointed King. Shine means exposure. When you wake up and you get up, He will show you everything that you have been doing wrong. He will expose all of your bad decisions, your irresponsible behavior. He will show you how you have been lazy in certain areas of your life, last year. He will expose all of the wrong company that you have been keeping. He will expose how you waste money. Imagine if you had saved some of that money, last year?! He shines on us! Wake up! Good. Get up! Fine. Here is what is wrong, He says. Now once you wake up, and you arise and He shows you what is lacking in your life, the good news is this--it says, be careful how you walk away from the bed. The bed is where you have been sleeping all last year. Your life is your bed--the lifestyle. You have been sleeping with habits--this whole year. The Most High says, walk away from the bed--walk away from the lifestyle!




Why? Because last year was a time element. It was twelve months. Now you got twelve months ahead of you--one more time. The scripture says don’t be unwise, but be wise! Write this down!! The word wisdom, wise--this is what the Most High is saying to you for this new year. Everyone say, wisdom and wise--which means applied knowledge.




Wisdom is different from knowledge and understanding. Knowledge is information. Wisdom is different, understanding is comprehension. However, wisdom is application! The Most High did not say, arise and walk away from your old life, with knowledge. Because you already got so much knowledge last year. The teachings that you got are enough for people to fly from all over and give a testimony. And you are still stuck in some habits. Can I suggest that this year, would be the year of application? This is the year of practical life--where everything, the theories, the principles and all of those revelations you have gotten from the Most High on the kingdom. The Most High wants you to apply them this year.




He wants wisdom this year! Why? Because He says that He is redeeming the time! Because you don’t have long to live. These days are evil means that the days are short. This same statement is found in the book of Ecclesiastes 12:1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them.




While the evil days come not. Which means that your years are not cut off. He says wake up! Redeem the time because you ain’t gonna live as long as you think. He’s trying to give us a consciousness of death. Do you know what motivates me? My death. There is one thing that you can be sure of, you will die. Ok? Get over that, accept that.




Once you have done that, get that cleared off of your mind, then you start, living sensibly. Death is a great motivator!! Everytime I think of doing something, that the Most High challenges me to do--and I am afraid to do it. He always reminds me, how long will you be dead? Let me say it another way. For those of you who are putting things off. Maybe you wanted to go on a cruise all of your life. And you keep saying someday I’ll do it. And you look up and it has been ten years. Imagine that you have died and you never went on that cruise! Well maybe you are saying I don’t have the money! The Most High does not work with money, He works with decisions and desires. Write that down, I just gave you an important principle. The Most High does not provide money first, He works with desires and decisions. The Most High never says, I will give you what you got money to pay for. Does He? No. He says acknowledge Me and I will give you, the desires that are in your mind.




So when you want to do something, in life--first you gotta desire it. Now desire is a deep word. Desire means that you are passionate, committed, dedicated, and won’t quit until you get something. Is that how bad that you want to go to the promised land, or is it just a tour?




Desire, means that you are willing to pay, a price. Then the Most High provides the price. The Most High does not give you what you are interested in. He gives you what you are passionate for!! Casual faith or rather obedience will never attract the Most High. It is passionate obedience that attracts the Most High’s provision!! Redeem the time for the days are evil. In other words, live in a way, that every day is a day of passion! Redeeming the time means that I am going to get back everything that I lost. By bad use of time.




Ephesians 5 Verse 17 says wherefore be ye not foolish. What is foolish? If wise is to apply knowledge, then foolish means to get knowledge but not apply it. The Most High is saying that there are some very educated fools. I don’t think that anybody, in this country, has received so much revelation than people who study with us on Fiveamprayer! So knowledge is not your problem. Let's look at Ephesians 5:17 again.




Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. This scripture is saying that a foolish person can have a lot of knowledge. It is like a smoking doctor. Am I right? A smoking doctor is a fool. They know what cigarettes will do, but still lights up a cigarette. So they have knowledge but no wisdom. So don’t think that ignorance makes you a fool. It is knowledge that makes you a fool!




Because knowledge increases your capacity to be a fool. Are you getting this, Fiveamprayer? Yahusha once said to the pharisees and scribes, John 15:22 (KJV) If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.




He said if I had not come to you. And spoken My words to you, you would be excused in your sins. But because, I have come to you, and I have told you the truth, you will die in your sins. Wake up he says! This year, must be a year, that you redeem the time--because you ain’t got much of it. Yahusha died at the age of 33. How old are you? He did so much in 3 years--it embarasses us! His ministry lasted three years, and He saved the whole world in three years!




Now that is what I call using your time! How long have you been living? Redeeming the time, because He says, if you don’t you will be foolish. We have to understand what the will of the Most High is. Look at that, He shifts to purpose! What is His purpose in this situation? We have to find out the Most High’s will for our lives so we can stop wasting time, your gifts, your energy, your talents, your wonderful, beautiful presence around the wrong people. The will of the Most High is supposed to dictate your schedule. The will of the Most High is supposed to dictate your company. Can you imagine that?? The will of the Most High should tell you, who to be with and who not to be with!




Now, some folks are not gonna like the fact that you don’t want to be with them. It is ok to leave people. Not everybody is supposed to be with you! So stop trying to get everyone to like you! Choose your company based on your destiny.




Yahusha chose His friends. He left His family and chose His friends. Some of you left your family and came to this tabernacle. Do you know why? Because I am good company! Like you are being good company, studying to make the application of the knowledge that you have received! That you have been elevated, encouraged to do mighty and great things in the kingdom! Sometimes it is terrible to go home for some of you.




Sometimes going home is a coming down. Because you have to be around people who are always complaining. They are finding fault, always negative, these are the kinds of people that want to keep going around the mountain. You have to protect your life! This is for us to understand the will of the Most High.




Then he says, Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit. Now back in Paul’s day, they had various kinds of drugs like opium, cocaine and everything else. We are amazing people, we made the drugs illegal but legalized the one thing that Paul says watch out for is wine. Ask most any doctor, the most dangerous drug is alcohol! It is so subtle, unlike if you were to do a little cocaine, you get that feeling right away. Then if you drink one beer you don’t feel anything. Then the second one, still nothing--you think you are cool. By the 5th one, and a couple of shots--you are gone. What Paul is saying here is if you drink, or take anything that disturbs your mental faculty--anything that disturbs your focus, you are destroying your time.




I know people who have stayed in drug houses for weeks! There are even people who are there for months--their life just passing them by. Any habit, that controls your life, is a time stealer! It may not be alcohol, it may not be drugs. It could be pornogrophy, prosteitution--anything habitual, that can become a time stealer! The word redeem, means to own something. If I said to you, redeem your time, what do I mean? To take ownership of it again.




That means that you can not allow, in this new year anything or anyone to control your time that is not important to your purpose. The word redeem also means to fulfill a pledge. It also means to convert into value. To redeem money, or to redeem something that someone owes you, is that they actually bring it back to you. Redeem the time means, that you go back and get the time that has been stolen last year. That you would stop letting people use your life.




The last one was very interesting, redeem means to repossess something. Redeem, the time for the days are evil! Fiveamprayer, it is time for us to repossess time!! Why? Because you don’t have much time left! The Most High creates life, within time. And your life, is your time. Whatever you are doing with your time, that is your life! So anyone, or any thing that consumes your time, is consuming your life. Some people are parasites, they suck your time. Get ready Fiveaprayer 5782 is gonna be a great year! You are gonna repossess your life! Say that with me, I will repossess my life! How? I am gonna control my time again! I will sit down and read the Bible every morning for one hour. Control that hour! I will study after the teaching on Fiveamprayer--for more understanding to make the application of that lesson in my life! I will arrange my schedule around meeting at the tabernacle on the Sabbath day to meet with Most High at His appointed time. I will be wise counsel to those in my community to help us all fully walk in this Hebraic mindset! Why do we have to redeem the time? We have lost control!




Now is the time, to redeem the time! Colossians 4:5-6 (KJV) 5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. 6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. So when you walk out of your house, those people who are not part of the kingdom, walk with them wisely. Why? Because they will eat your time up! Look at that verse! Wisdom is applied knowledge. When you meet people, kick your knowledge in fast!! Let me see if this person is making sense??




Some folks want an appointment, to talk foolishness! There are some folks that want to take you on a date, and they ain’t got no sense! There are some people who want to marry you, they would spend the rest of their life, sucking your life, out of your life! When you deal with people, he says, be wise.




Protect your time. I am going to say that again, Fiveamprayer, protect your time!! You know that you have some friends that ain’t friends! You know that! 5782 is the year that you have to take stock, do some inventory and throw some old things out of the warehouse!! And it might be people! It might be habits. It might be a routine that ain’t working. We must always be mindful that everything that walks up to you is an opportunity!




Hasatan’s greatest weapon is good things. This is his greatest weapon against a kingdom citizen. The enemy knows that you are not stupid enough to do bad things, so he won’t tempt you to do bad things. Because you are too smart for that! So what he does, he gives you, good things to do that are not right for you! This reminds me of that scene from the Book of Eli when he could have intervened, but kept saying stay on the path, the other situation was not his concern. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. So we can see what is being stolen, killed and destroyed in this verse, our time!! Yet Yahusha comes with wisdom--the applied knowledge to give us life more abundantly!! Why is this a concern, hasatan just wants your time! Why does he want your time? Because your time is your life! So you end up doing a whole lot of good things, to preoccupy you.




Preoccupation is dangerous! The enemy could get you working on things, that the Most High, never told you to do. Here is the catch, they are all good things! And when your life is over, no one even knew that you lived! The secret, to protecting your time, is knowing your purpose! Because your purpose protects you from doing good things at the expense of the right things! This is why you can say no, in life very easily.




No, is only possible, when yes is known. This new year, you will have a lot of opportunities coming your way, some of them are demonic, dressed in good stuff. All kind of deals will come across your desk: business ideas, options, alternatives, offers, and you have got to have the Ruach HaKodesh to discern!




Hasatan is after your time. So many think that he wants to kill you, no he just wants to kill your time! Because your time is your life. Worshipping the Most High is a good thing! Right? King Saul tried that, he was told by the Most High, to go into a city, take the city, kill all of the animals in the city. While they were killing the animals, he ran into some beautiful sheep. He told the soldiers not to kill those ones. I want to use them to worship the Most High. Now is that a bad thing? The Bible says that he brought the sheep back to the camp, and the prophet Samuel came to visit, the Most High told him to go and check on what this man did. He was the king!




Samuel says to the king, did you obey the Most High? Saul responds, yes I obeyed the Most High, I did what He said. Samuel says if you obeyed the Most High, what is this sound that I hear? Fiveamprayer listen close to his explanation, it may often be your explanation, very often. We tell the Most High what is good for Him! I am doing this for you, the Most High says, no. It is not what you do for me, it is what I tell you to do! Saul took a good thing, and destroyed the right thing. The prophet says because you disobeyed, the Most High, you are no longer king. 1 Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. Samuel is telling, king Saul don’t you know, it is more important to obey the Most High, than to worship the Most High?




Obeying the laws of The Most High is more important than singing in the choir. Obeying the laws of The Most High is more important than preaching in a pulpit. Most people would rather worship than obey. He says look, not every opportunity is good, so live your life to make sure that everything you do is an opportunity that is worth your time. This year manage your time. Proverbs 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord. This verse tells us that The Most High does not plan your life, you plan it! Proverbs 19:21 There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.


So you should make your plans based on the purpose of The Most High. Once you know The Most High‘s vision and purpose for your life. Once you know The Most High’s passion for your life, and this year, you are going to find it again. I promise you when you read the book with authority it is going to make sense, because the area of authority you were born with. That makes you dangerous and once you find it you become free from people! That position of authority is what gives you the power to make plans. Many are the plans in a man’s heart but it is The Most High’s answer of the tongue that brings it to pass. Now this statement, the answer of the tongue it means explanation. Let me explain that. The Most High says look I will give you some dreams and ideas and they are going to be very massive. I want you to write them down. I did not ask you to pay for them I asked you to write them down. To man belongs the plans. The Most High does not write your life’s plans for you. You have to write it. He gives you the desires. He gives you the passions, the dreams and vision. You write the plan down, He says and then I will reply on how it will be paid for. The reason why we don’t pursue vision and plans is because we think we have to find the money first. Or we have to find the people or we have to find the equipment. The Most High says, no it does not work that way. You take my dream, my assignment, my authority in your life and you put it on paper, you put it on a plan and I will explain how it is going to be done. Stop being afraid to write your dreams. Look at the next verse the same chapter Proverbs chapter 16 verse three it says commit your way to The Most High and whatever you do it will succeed. All of your plans will succeed. First you get the plans from The Most High‘s purpose you put it on paper, The Most High says don’t worry about how it’s going to be paid for and then he says I will make sure that they succeed. He did not tell you how long. But he guarantees you a result. The Most High says he works out everything for His own ends. Some of you went through some difficult moments in the year 5781 and The Most High says that’s OK. I am going to use that for something. Every bad experience, every good experience, I am going to work it out for your end, in the end!!! Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. He is going to take everything that you thought was a big mistake and He can turn it into a big miracle. The job you had for 20 years you lost last year. The Most High says no problem I am going to work this out for my own end. That’s what He says. He has a plan and purpose for your life and all of the things that you go through. He takes it and He put it into His plan and He says I am going to work this in and I am going to use this as an asset. How can The Most High use a deficit as an asset? He is going to use what you lost to be the source of gain. I am talking to somebody!!! All that you thought you tried so hard and you still lost everything--The Most High says I am going to work everything for my end. His vision for your life cannot be stopped. The last verse that I want you to read from Proverbs 16:9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps. In his heart a man makes the plans of his course but The Most High determines his steps for that plan. Now steps are under The Most High‘s control. Joseph saw his plan to sit on a throne as a king but he never had an idea about the steps. Now let me tell you something I learned about The Most High a long time ago, that makes me not worry about anything in my life. The Most High will always show you your destiny, He will show you your purpose, He will show you your end. He will never show you the plan. I am going to say it again. The Most High will show you, your vision. He will show you your destiny, He will show you your end. He will show you all of the great future you have and even the details, but He will never show you how to get there. Here’s why. Because, the purpose is the end but the plan is the process. The Most High will not show you the process and the plan, because if you know the process and the plan you--will not want the purpose anymore. In other words if Joseph had seen I am on the throne, praise The Most High but first you have to get your clothes torn off, your brothers will curse you, they will put you in a pit, you will become a slave, they put you in jail, and those you helped forgot about you. And then you get the throne. Joseph would have said, you know what you can forget that. I am going to be a shepherd right here in the wilderness! The steps. He controls the steps. You may say what am I doing out here on this dumb job, that is a step. That is not the end because you saw the end. So where you are has just got to be a step. So you don’t panic if you are in a step.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO GUARD YOUR HEART




Proverbs 4:23–26 instructs Hebrews to, “above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.” When Solomon refers to guarding the heart, he really means the inner core of a person—the thoughts, feelings, desires, will, and choices that make that person who he/she is. The Bible tells us that our thoughts often dictate who we become (Proverbs 23:7; 27:19). The mind of a man reflects who he really is, not simply his actions or words. That is why Yah examines the heart of a man, not simply his outward appearance and what he appears to be (1 Samuel 16:7).




Just as there are many diseases and disorders that can affect the physical heart, there are many ailments of the spiritual heart that can impair growth and development as a Hebrew. Atherosclerosis is a hardening of the arteries due to accumulated cholesterol plaques and scarring in the artery walls. Hardening of the spiritual heart can also occur. Hardening of the heart occurs when we are presented with Yah’s truth, and we refuse to acknowledge or accept it.




Although Egypt was stricken with one calamity after another when the pharaoh refused to release the Israelites from their bondage, he hardened his heart against the truth that Yah Almighty intended to deliver His people from Egypt (Exodus 7:22; 8:32; 9:34). In Psalm 95:7–8, King David pleaded with his people not to harden their hearts in rebellion against Yah as they did in the wilderness. There are many things that can harden the heart and lead a person to deny Yah, and just like cholesterol blocks blood flow, they keep a Hebrew from having a free flow of Yah’s peace and blessings derived from obedience. Guarding against a rebellious spirit and cultivating a spirit of submissive obedience to Yah’s Word, therefore, is the first step in guarding the heart.




Heart murmurs are abnormal flow patterns due to faulty heart valves. Heart valves act as doors to prevent the backward flow of blood into the heart. Spiritual heart murmurs occur when Hebrews engage in complaining, gossip, disputes, and contention. Hebrews are instructed many times to avoid grumbling, murmuring, and complaining (Exodus 16:3; John 6:43; Philippians 2:14). By engaging in these activities, Hebrews shift their focus away from the plans, purposes, and past blessings of Yah to the things of the world. Yah sees this as a lack of faith, and without faith, it is impossible to please Yah (Hebrews 11:6). Instead, Hebrews are instructed to strive for contentment in all things, trusting in Yah to provide what is needed in His good time (Hebrews 13:5). Guarding against a complaining spirit and cultivating a spirit of gratitude and trust is the second step toward guarding the heart.




Congestive heart failure is an inability of the heart to successfully pump blood through the body due to weaknesses within its walls. Congestive heart failure can result from hypertension (high blood pressure), myocardial infarctions (heart attacks), and abnormal enlargement of the heart. The spiritual equivalents are anger, giving in to temptation, and pride. Anger acts like a poison on the body, both physically and spiritually, and makes Hebrews more vulnerable to the temptation to hurt others with their actions and words. Ephesians 4:31–32 instructs, “Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Hamachiach Yah forgave you.”




Every Hebrew is locked in a constant, intense war with demonic forces. Many of us become so intent on fighting the external spiritual war that we forget that much of our battle is not with external forces, but with our own mind and thoughts. James 1:14–16 tells us, “Each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters.” Sin always begins in the mind. A sinner must first conceive and dwell on the sinful action before he actually carries it out. The first line of defense, therefore, must be to refuse to even contemplate a wrongful action. The apostle Paul tells us to take every thought captive, so that it conforms to the will of Yah (2 Corinthians 10:3–5).




Proverbs 16:18 tells us that pride leads to destruction. Proverbs 16:5, says, “Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord.” Pride was the first great sin of HaSatan, when he thought that he could be like Yah and incited one third of the angels to attempt a coup in heaven (Ezekiel 28:17). For this reason, HaSatan was cast from heaven. HaSatan also tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden by appealing to her ego. He said, “For Yah knows that when you eat from [the forbidden tree] your eyes will be opened, and you will be like Yah, knowing good and evil.” Eve desired to be as wise as Yah, so she capitulated to HaSatan’s advice to eat of the fruit of the tree. Pride was, therefore, the downfall of man, as well. HaSatan did not want man to obey Yah but to become his own Yah—determining for himself reality, meaning, and ethics. This Satanic philosophy is the foundational philosophy of sorcery, secular humanism, and New Age mysticism.




Avoiding anger, pride, and temptation are also critical elements of guarding the heart. The apostle Paul instructs us, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things” (Philippians 4:8). Dwelling on these things will help to build a guard fence around our hearts.

The Most High will never take a people into the land of freedom until he has taken the land of oppression out of their minds. In other words, The Most High is willing to wait for the right generation to go into the land of freedom. The Most High always raises up a new leader to take the people into freedom when the people arrive in the land of freedom. The miraculous stops and the work begins in the land of freedom. You must grow your own food, you must sew your own clothing and build your own homes. In freedom you must fight your own battles! When they came out of Egypt they didn't fight a single person, the Most High killed a whole army of Pharaoh by Himself! They never fought, but when they went into the land of Canaan, the first day--the first thing Joshua saw in Jericho was a man dressed in armor. The first thing Moses saw was a burning bush a miracle, the first thing Joshua saw was a man in armor, a fighter. The Most High was saying okay every thing in Moses’ time is a miracle. In Joshua’s time, you better fight, your way to get what you need.

And Joshua had to fight to possess the land, in other words there must be the breaking of the chain mentally--write this down please. What is the responsibility of freedom? Freedom is a tough place we are about to enter it, 400 years is up! This means that we are about to leave the wilderness and cross over 40 years is always the amount that the Most High gives us in

Scripture for a generation. As a matter of fact generation is the fullness of national service. The Most High gives you 40 years for national service that means to serve your country. After that you better have done your job!

Generation is the completion of one phase and the transfer to another. That's what fourty means. Forty also means the number of succession. Forty also means the number of transfer. Forty also means the number of transformation. That means if you don't change at forty, the Most High gets rid of you. Let's see if this is true

2 Samuel 5:4-5 4 David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. 5 In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.

Now let’s look at the next verse, 1 Kings 11:42-43 42 And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel was forty years. 43 And Solomon slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.

Still not convinced?? Ok I have one more:

Psalm 95:10-11 10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: 11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

Look at that He swore that He would kill all of them because they would not change their mentality! The people have been in leadership in this country for all of these years yet they still have Egypt all over them. The scent of the slave ship is still in their nostrils, so mentally they can't crossover. They are good people and have a tremendous desire to crossover but they just can mentally make it. Sometimes we call them, bankrupt of ideas. The Most High says at 40 you are beyond thinking creatively now. So you keep bringing up the old system, the old methods, the old style. Because you are stuck in the old generation, give the Most High a hand for a new revelation coming!! We have to get this right!! In the next general election, cannot reappoint the same leaders!!! Impossible!!! I'm telling you, by divine design that's impossible! Every leader in the Bible finished at forty and they succeeded--David didn't wait till he died to give it to Solomon. Neither did Solomon and wait to give it to Rehoboam! In other words, you don't wait until you die--you give it to them while you're living! Here son, take it to the next level I'm stuck!! Forty years means times up, either you change or die!

There's no greater burden than freedom that's why the Most High says you got to be free, to get into freedom! In other words everyone cries for freedom but few of them understand it. That's why we can't get there. Freedom is like love and beauty--you can't understand it, but you know it when you feel it. It's strange, the human spirit wants to be free.

There’s an experiment by a psychologist, they tied the dog to a stake with a chain. Then they place food in front of the dog. They placed it just far away that the dog could not reach it and the dog was so hungry he dashed toward the food with all of his strength--when he leaped the chain yanked his neck back and he choked. But he looked at the food, he was so hungry he jumped at it again and he choked and he jumped at it again and he choked and he kept jumping at the food but it was too far away. And his neck began to wear against the chain and then blood began to show up on his neck. And he felt the pain and the dog decided the pain is too great it's greater than the food. So the dog refused to move. That dog looked at the food after they loosed the chain, he was free but he was afraid to go to the food because he remembered the pain. I am going to say that again, he was free, but he refused to go to the food because he remembered the pain. Do you see the problem? It is the memory of the pain. Are we afraid to believe we can do great things at forty? Yes we are. You go to apply for a certain type of business, will they say to you--you can't do? Or to apply for a car loan or get a mortgage, that they would tell you can’t do that. How do they know that?? They don't know, but they've been tied to the stake so long and they were told no for so long they believe that they can not reach the food--even after the chain is loosed. Write this down please this is very important, we can die in the presence of resources. Africa is suffering from this right now. The wealthiest continent on Earth is Africa and yet it's the poorest!

I am going to say that again, you can die in the presence of plenty, even though you call yourself free--the memory is more powerful than the chain!! In other words, the chain is still in your mind--we are tied to a stake. Our social, economic and religious conditioning ties us to an invisible stake!! Positions does not guarantee disposition!! You change your position but your disposition is still the same. In other words, new does not guarantee change without mental transformation!! You can go to a new place, but continue to do the old things!! What you feed your soul determines your quality of life! Be careful, it can decrease your freedom! In essence, freedom is a result of mental adjustment, not relocation. All of the children of Israel, never made it to Canaan. Their location was changed, but the mentality never did. Forty years they were still thinking the same way. I want to show you something about these people. It is possible to be delivered and not free!! Deliverance is the physical relocation of liberation of a person. It removes your environment of oppression. Deliverance is the separation of the slave from the physical condition of slavery. Deliverance is just physical relocation or the breaking of something physical. We must never confuse the difference with slavery and your freedom! As a matter of fact, oppression is the cancellation of self-determination! When a person would say, I can not make my life anymore, this is called breaking the spirit. Oppression produces deep spirit of dependency and lack of self-determination when you are in slavery you become dependent on the master and you are afraid to think for yourself. That's why creativity is never among slaves, because the master thinks for them. They were not trained to think about solving their own problems with new ideas. A slave mentality is never creative, write that down. A slave mentality thinks about pain but not planning! A slave mentality always thinks of what cannot be done. Why it can't be done. The pain--your mental state is more important than your physical state. You are truly not free until your mind is liberated.This is why at 400 years in this country we must deal with our question--what are we mentally? Freedom is first a mental condition before it is a physical statement. This was the foundation of the freedom statement of Yahusha Ha Maschiach, He said the truth will make you free! The truth. Knowing the truth is mental experience. You will know the truth about yourself--something is supposed to happen in your mind and then you are free. I became free when my mind discovered who I was in HaMashiach! My whole life changed!!

Fiveamprayer, you got to become a global citizen thinker, if you're gonna be free from this small mentality!! There is so much that we could do, start our own businesses. Buy up land and construct buildings for businesses and residents. This is a total shift in our mind!! How many businesses would have a place to operate if you were to build that building? Who would be hired to construct, wire and plumb these buildings? Yet when you are stuck to the chain--for 400 years you find that the time has passed but mentally it is more of the same.

After 400 years is it too late? Is it possible to do it?? Four hundred years later, we have to know that our mental state is more important than our physical state. Write this down, no one is more dangerous than a mountain man with a valley mentality. I am going to say that again-- no one is more dangerous than a mountain man with a valley mentality. We own the mountain now, you know, but our mind didn't make it--it's still in the valley! Change has come and the mind is still set. One of the things that I learned is that deliverance is not freedom--it prepares you for freedom! You're not free until your mind is free! Your mind can only be free by the discovery of the truth about yourself! Freedom is not the absence of law, freedom is actually requirement of more law, of discipline and responsibility. Deliverance provides you the opportunity to be free. When the Most High delivered those people out of Egypt, they weren't free. It took 40 years and give he gave them a chance to see if they were ready for freedom and they didn't make it. Write this down please, Sir Winston Churchill said it so well he said the price of greatness is responsibility! You want to be great you, have to become responsible for your own future. Design and believe that you can actually design your own future. This is why I believe that the greatest prototype we have about slavery is the children of Israel coming out of Egypt. It is easy to exist in slavery than to live in freedom! Some people are so busy trying to get over their past they don't have time to live their future! There is no freedom without responsibility!
