thee, neither is it far off.

Isaiah 48:6 Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden ​things, and thou didst not know them.

At one point or another we all come to face the man in the mirror. Often this person is a reflection of all that we have endured throughout our lives. Yet with this search or review of self we find hidden faults of which we were not aware of before. David prayed to Yahweh for His word to be hid in His soul that He might not sin against the All Mighty God, Yahweh. The process is humbling and only Yahweh can cleanse a broken soul who is willing to forgive and move on from past hurts and damages.

Psalms 19:12-13
(11) Through them your servant is warned;in obeying them there is great reward.
13 (12) Who can discern unintentional sins?Cleanse me from hidden faults.

The goal is to teshuvah (repent) turn back to Adonai and let go of what made you err.

The Hebrew word error (shegi’ot) comes from a root word that means to wander, stray, or transgress. Which can be tied to the idea of hidden faults those unknown, unseen, and reside in our unconscious. These mindless sins, unthinking offences, hidden dispositions that we unwittingly commit perhaps from deep issues--that trigger theses dark habits that need to be broken.

Psalms 90:8
You have placed our faults before you, our secret sins in the full light of your presence.

These unaddressed hidden faults can cause gross darkness and stagnation of the spirit. Folks can be held in their own internal bondage and not even know that they are bound--due to this disfunction or darkness stemming from lack of knowledge of self!!! How many of us are fully aware of what we are doing all the time? For those operating in fatigue or repetitions of life? We go on auto pilot and forget we are surrounded by other people going through the same tiredness and issues as well. How many of us are transparent to Yahweh and ourselves? Fiveamprayer will we seek Him with a pure motive, of restoration and wholeness in His holy presence?

Jeremiah 17:9
“The heart is more deceitful than anything else and mortally sick. Who can fathom it?

We must heal these hidden sins--devices of the enemy, planted to cause hindrance in spiritual growth and blindness prolongs healing. The perfect timing of Yahweh is now in the month of Elul. We come face to face with ourselves and our King. Am I in your image--as You have crafted me by Your hands?  We want to be found in Your likeness Abba! It is time to expose me to me, that my faults will be transformed to give you the glory and honor Yahweh!  Shema, selah let us take time to consider this lesson and teaching while in the field with the King!
