The Principal and Process Of Generational Transition




I want you to write this down in your notes please. Please take notes quickly. I want to address the subject, the principal and the process of generational transfer. It's amazing that sometimes we don't understand the times we are living in. There was a tribe that impressed The Most High. Israel had 12 tribes and one of them, The Most High specifically said, was the most important one, and it was not Judah. He said that the tribe's name was Issachar and The Most High specifically told us why Ishacar was so important among all the 12 tribes. He said they had two things that the other tribes didn't have. They were the smallest tribe matter of fact and they didn't have an army, yet they were the most important tribe. He said they were important because number one, they understood the times and number two therefore, they knew what to do. He said that's why they are the most important tribe in Israel. They understood the times and then because of that they knew what they should be doing. One time Yahusha told the people in the community that He was living among, especially the religious leaders, He said you do not know the times of your visitation? In other words, it's possible for you to be living in a moment and don't understand the moment, therefore you don't know what you should be doing at that moment. We have entered a moment in history as a country. This moment has to do with our nation. The Most High always thinks about nations. The principle of nation was created by The Most High. The Most High established nations and he establishes nations for a reason. Therefore the United States was not established by a group of men who sat around a table. They were being used by a greater divine power to accomplish a goal that was divine. Therefore America was established by The Most High, in heaven before it entered earth. There was a timing for that. As a matter of fact, I think it's important to understand that the nations created by The Most High began when The Most High first created Adam. The Most High intended for earth to have one nation and that nation was to be headed by the Adamic race. All nations therefore are products of The Most High. Malachi chapter 12 verse 21 it says In his name the nations will put their hope. We put our hope in so many other things but The Most High says I want the nation to trust me. How do we know that The Most High created Nations? Acts chapter 17 verses 24-28 Elohiym that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Yah of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he gives to all life, and breath, and all things; And has made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek Yahuah, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from everyone of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. MA'ASIYM (ACTS) 17:24-28 את CEPHER.
As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’ I want you to write down what that verse just told us specifically. Number one, who creates nations? Well first of all The Most High says He created nations. Number two, He creates the nations for a time. It says he sets the time for them. That means every nation has a time and there's something it has to do within that time. There are nations that have died. Some nations are dying--their time is up. Next He says nations are composed of The Most High's choice, you just read. The Bible says He chooses who will live in them. Very few of us originate from the United States. We were moved by something--either by a boat or aircraft brought us here somewhere in history. So He chose to create a country called America out of people from different places and He's still adding to this nation from different places. Next He says nations are located by The Most High's choice. It says He chooses who would be in them and where they should be. The United States was located by The Most High. We are in a strategic location by divine order. I don't think even our government understands the importance of our proximity to the nations around us. The Most High also says something else, He says that He creates a nation so that men may--seek Him. The purpose of a country is for people to find The Most High. That is clear in the Bible, so when people come to your country do they see The Most High? Do they feel the presence of The Most High? Are your policies and your legislation reflecting The Most High? Is your culture reflecting The Most High? Nations like the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Jebusites no longer exists. Do you know why? They began to worship idols, they began to sacrifice their babies dipped in goat's milk. They burned their children on the altar, they killed young women who were 12 years old as sacrifices to pagan Yahs. In other words, The Most High says look if you have a culture that doesn't represent me I will wipe you from the earth. We cannot find these nations any more. So when your country begins to sacrifice babies, we call it abortion, you are tampering with the very life of your country. Don't think that you are immune to dissolution by The Most High. The Most High can dissolve a country!! We cannot find the Moabites. Do you know that the land of Canaan, Canaan was the son of Noah. That means the African heritage grew the land of Canaan. Guess who took it over? The Most High told Moses I will take you to the land of Canaan for the people that have defiled the land. They began to worship demons, they began to offer up sacrifices to pagan Yahs, they burned their children in Canaan. The Canaanites became evil and The Most High gave their land to somebody else. If you don't introduce The Most High in your lands other people will take over your country. That's why The Most High made a country, that men might find him He says. That's why The Most High makes a nation, that men might depend on The Most High! Not their geniuses. It is me, He says, who gives you life and breath. It's not the investor, it's not the business banker that moves in, to hire a couple of people. He said it is me who gives you life. Never tie your life up to a barrel that can go dry! Connect to an eternal--The Most High who never runs out. In other words, He says create a culture that introduces men to The Most High. I want you, He says, as a nation to make sure everything you do will establish moral standards that exposes The Most High's nature. Any country with a moral code that doesn't represent The Most High will be dissolved. We don't learn from history. We still don't get the message and some of the things we're doing right now is so important, that we need to be checking what we are making as far as decisions and laws.
Look at it, Revelations 5 verses 9-10. 9 And they sung a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the cepher, and to open the seals thereof: for you were slain, and have redeemed us to Elohiym by your blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And have made us unto our Elohiym kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. CHIZAYON (REVELATION) 5:9-10 את CEPHER
In other words, The Most High says I created nations that they may be a kingdom of priests for me. Look at the book of Psalm 2 verse 11WHY do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yahuah, and against his Mashiach, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. TEHILLIYM (PSALMS) 2:1-3 את CEPHER” In other words, let's get rid of The Most High. We don't want anyone to tell us what to do, we don't want The Most High in our politics, we don't want The Most High in our legislation. Let's break off this so-called spiritual bondage, we need to be free. And The Most High says they conspire against him. That means they make laws right in the face of The Most High. It means that they are directly opposed to what The Most High wants. Let’s look at the next verse. Psalm 2 verse 4 He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: Adonai shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my King upon my holy hill of Tsiyon. TEHILLIYM (PSALMS) 2:4-6 את CEPHER”The Most High says I'm going to ignore your laws and still bring Yahusha. You're going to come to the point where you realize he's still the way for national development. A nation therefore is a component created by The Most High and every nation must have these things. Write them down. A common language, common values, common covenant, common culture, common moral standards and common respect. They must have these things in common. That means that a nation must have a commitment to unity. The key to nation building is it must have a national purpose, a national vision, and a national divine reference. That's important. In other words, they must refer all of their legal decisions to a higher power. Number four, they must have a national moral code, they must have a national value system, they must have a national social consciousness and they must have a national spirit of love and respect for one another. This is what nations are to be made of. Look at Genesis 12 verse 1 then the Most High said to Abraham leave your country your people and your father's whole city and go to the land I will show you. That’s the land of Canaan. Next verse I will make you into a great nation. There was a nation already in the land. In other words, The Most High could cancel your country. You don't even know it's canceled and foreigners start coming in! You don't know, your time is over. Then sooner than later they are more in number than you. The Most High sent Abraham, not to empty land. He sent him to a land that had Canaanites, Moabites, Jebusites, Hittites. In other words, The Most High could fire you and you still on the job. When you start doing evil The Most High will slowly take over your country and you'll find foreigners in the House of Assembly. Abraham I'm giving you a nation, a land that other people live in he said. Look at the next verse 3 I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you. I'll make your name great and you will be a blessing and I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you and all the people of the earth through you will be blessed. I'll bless the nations through your nation! In other words, The Most High created the nation of Israel to be a blessing to the nations, to be a standard to the nations. Look at Deuteronomy 4 verse 6 Guard therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear את all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. For what nation is there so great, who has Elohiym so nigh unto them, as Yahuah Elohaynu is in all things that we call upon him for? And what nation is there so great, that has commandments and judgments so righteous as all this Torah, which I set before you this day? DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 4:6-8 את CEPHER The Most High is saying to you today is, what makes you different is the laws you not only create but the laws you keep!!! What makes you different in this world is not only the laws you make but the ones you keep. Nations are making laws that are very dangerous right now. Although the whole earth is mine you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation, these are the words you are to speak to the Israelites. In other words, I want a nation. Not a church, not a religion. I want to build a nation he said. Look at Psalm 33 verse 12 Blessed is the nation whose Elohiym is Yahuah; and the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance. TEHILLIYM (PSALMS) 33:12 את CEPHER. Look at Psalm 33:16, There is no king saved by the multitude of a host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. TEHILLIYM (PSALMS) 33:16 את CEPHER. So no law enforcement is going to save us from our criminal problems. You can build the defense force all you want but that isn’t going to save your country. You can put bars on your window and put electrical cameras everywhere but that isn’t going to save your country. Your strength will not save you He says. We spend billions of dollars in the world and countries are trying to build armies, to build security. The Most High says that won't keep your city. I'm the only one that will protect your country. Look at Psalm 33 but the eyes of the Most High are on those who fear Him. The Most High says you don't need more war weapons, you need the fear of The Most High to come back to your country. People aren’t afraid of The Most High anymore. So The Most High says therefore that's why you need a lot of police dogs, a lot more police cars, you need a lot of army weapons because you don't fear The Most High. The eyes of the Most High will be upon the country who fears him, on those whose hope in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in the middle of an economic crisis. According to The Most High, I know this sound very stupid to the some people, but according to The Most High if you fear him he'll turn your economy around. Among all the nations something can happen in your country. You may discover oil in your backyard if you fear The Most High. If your family says, I will keep you from farming that means other nations will fall into a wreck economically but you would be preserved because of what? Fear of The Most High. If we fear The Most High again, he says I'll turn the economy around. Look at Proverbs 11:14. Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety. MISHLEI (PROVERBS) 11:14 את CEPHER. That means they keep making bad decisions because they get wrong counsel from wrong people. They hire more wrong consultants so the nation will fall. In the presence of many good advisors he says victory is sure. In other words, you need to check the kind of people you are getting counsel from. You know all nations want to be successful, don't they? Every country wants to be successful. So what is the key or the keys to national success? I want to show you where we are right now. How many years ago did the founding fathers of this nation set about to begin a land that was free from the oppressive rule of the British? This was recognizing that the preservation of their freedom will be guaranteed by national commitment to self-discipline, industry, loyalty, unity and an honor and an abiding respect for Biblical values and the rule of law. Now I want you to focus on the word freedom. The goal here is freedom. Let me prove that. The initial goal of this country was to be free for royal tyranny. A free democratic, sovereign nation founded on spiritual values and in which no man, woman or child shall never be slave and bondsman to anyone or their labor exploited for their lives or their lives exploited by deprivation. Now I want you to notice that this whole thing is about freedom. You know why? Many of the people who fled to this land called America, were looking for freedom to govern themselves! So when they say freedom in this constitution, they're saying look, this will never happen again. I want to share something very important here. The Most High always promises freedom while you are in the land of slavery. The Most High told the children of Israel there's a land with milk and honey. He told him that when they were in bondage, The Most High always gives you promise about light when you are in darkness, secondly The Most High always raises up a deliverer to bring you out of physical oppression. Here's the problem, The Most High never takes oppressed people directly to freedom. Write that down. The Most High will never take oppressed people directly to freedom, never. If you study history he never took them directly to freedom because their mind is a problem. I want to say this right now, we are not free yet. We are delivered. Don't confuse the two. In other words, The Most High will always lead people into a stage of deliverance, a period where he gives them an opportunity to learn how to live in freedom because freedom is a difficult place to live. It took them 400 years to make it to that point. So when they reach this time, The Most High says if you didn't change your mind, I'm going to kill you. It's found in the Bible. He gives you 400 years to change your thinking from pulling down others to get ahead to working with each other for success! He gives you 400 years to transform your thinking from killing your own brothers and sisters, from stopping their progress, from hindering their advancement. He gives you 400 years to change your mind. I know exactly where we are, as a matter of fact, here's what I believe may be helpful. Exodus 13 verse 17 When Pharaoh let the people go, The Most High did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country even though that was shorter. Doing research about the journey from Egypt to Israel it takes 40 days to walk from Egypt to Canaan. Now let me say it slowly. It takes 40 days to walk from Egypt to Canaan, 40 days. The Most High says I'm not going to take them the short way. He says for if they face war; That means responsibility, pressure, struggles, they might change their minds and return to slavery. There are some people today who still want to go back. The Most High says I could take you there in 40 days but it's not your location I'm concerned about. It's your mentality. So The Most High led them around the desert. Who led them? The Most High. He led them around a desert road toward the Red Sea. He led him into a test to check their minds. It says the Israelites went up out of Egypt armed for battle. They didn’t know how to fight, they never had an army. In other words you have on a suit and can't calculate the interest rate. You put on a fine dress but you still can't run a bank. Armed but can't fight. We look good but we aren’t able to handle it. They still believe you can't own a hotel, they still believe you can’t own the bank. They still believe that you can’t own an organization that's global. They say just get a job and make beds and cut the yard in your suit. Dressed but can't fight. Are you listening to me? Listen The Most High is more concerned about your transformation than he is about your relocation. The Most High says I don't want you to go to Canaan yet because you don’t have the Canaan mentality, so I'm going to keep you in this desert for 40 years. The Most High’s promises always demand preparation. The Most High will never give you what you don't qualify to manage. They couldn't manage freedom so he put them in a classroom called Sinai for 40 years to see if we can get them to be trained mentally to handle responsibility and they failed the test. As a matter of fact, true freedom imposes more law. It demands more work and requires more responsibility than slavery. Freedom is taking responsibility for your own life and we don't want to do that. We still believe that the foreigner is smarter, the investor is more intelligent. So we give them all kinds of perks, all kinds of opportunities and we still don't trust our own people because we are fighting the spirit of ‘you aren’t responsible yet’. We got people with PhDs who cannot be permitted to ride a bike. Then we have folks who come right out of high school in charge of them! This is heavy stuff. Transformation is more important than relocation. Write it down. In other words, mental freedom is more important than physical deliverance. Nothing can corrupt Canaan more than Egyptian slavery thinking. That's why Canaan demands conversion. The enemy of freedom is a slave mentality. Freedom is so special. The Most High will keep you out of it until you get the freedom mentality. In other words you need to change the mentality in order to enjoy the relocation. The Most High always provides when you are in deliverance. That's why we survived for years. The Most High provides miracles and deliverance. He gave them free food, free clothing, free water from a rock. He gave them free healing from a snake on a pole. Everything was free. Why? Miracles and deliverance, but when the four hundred years is up the manna stops, the water doesn't come out of the rock anymore and the snake dies. That means you got to go dig your own wells, plant your own farms and you better eat properly. Take care of your own body. 400 years. The Most High will never take a people into the land of freedom until he has taken the land of oppression out of their minds. In other words, The Most High is willing to wait for the right generation to go into the land of freedom. The Most High always raises up a new leader to take the people into freedom when the people arrive in the land of freedom. The miraculous stops and the work begins in the land of freedom. You must grow your own food, you must sew your own clothing and build your own homes. In freedom you must fight your own battles! When they came out of Egypt they didn't fight a single person, the Most High killed a whole army of Pharaoh by Himself! They never fought, but when they went into the land of Canaan, the first day--the first thing Joshua saw in Jericho was a man dressed in armor. The first thing Moses saw was a burning bush a miracle, the first thing Joshua saw was a man in armor, a fighter. The Most High was saying okay every thing in Moses’ time is a miracle. In Joshua’s time, you better fight, your way to get what you need.
And Joshua had to fight to possess the land, in other words there must be the breaking of the chain mentally--write this down please. What is the responsibility of freedom? Freedom is a tough place we are about to enter it, 400 years is up! This means that we are about to leave the wilderness and cross over 40 years is always the amount that the Most High gives us in
Scripture for a generation. As a matter of fact generation is the fullness of national service. The Most High gives you 40 years for national service that means to serve your country. After that you better have done your job!
Generation is the completion of one phase and the transfer to another. That's what fourty means. Forty also means the number of succession. Forty also means the number of transfer. Forty also means the number of transformation. That means if you don't change at forty, the Most High gets rid of you. Let's see if this is true
2 Samuel 5:4-5 4 David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. 5 In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.
Now let’s look at the next verse, 1 Kings 11:42-43 42 And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel was forty years. 43 And Solomon slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.
Still not convinced?? Ok I have one more:
Psalm 95:10-11 10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: 11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
Look at that He swore that He would kill all of them because they would not change their mentality! The people have been in leadership in this country for all of these years yet they still have Egypt all over them. The scent of the slave ship is still in their nostrils, so mentally they can't crossover. They are good people and have a tremendous desire to crossover but they just can mentally make it. Sometimes we call them, bankrupt of ideas. The Most High says at 40 you are beyond thinking creatively now. So you keep bringing up the old system, the old methods, the old style. Because you are stuck in the old generation, give the Most High a hand for a new revelation coming!! We have to get this right!! In the next general election, cannot reappoint the same leaders!!! Impossible!!! I'm telling you, by divine design that's impossible! Every leader in the Bible finished at forty and they succeeded--David didn't wait till he died to give it to Solomon. Neither did Solomon and wait to give it to Rehoboam! In other words, you don't wait until you die--you give it to them while you're living! Here son, take it to the next level I'm stuck!! Forty years means times up, either you change or die!
There's no greater burden than freedom that's why the Most High says you got to be free, to get into freedom! In other words everyone cries for freedom but few of them understand it. That's why we can't get there. Freedom is like love and beauty--you can't understand it, but you know it when you feel it. It's strange, the human spirit wants to be free.
There’s an experiment by a psychologist, they tied the dog to a stake with a chain. Then they place food in front of the dog. They placed it just far away that the dog could not reach it and the dog was so hungry he dashed toward the food with all of his strength--when he leaped the chain yanked his neck back and he choked. But he looked at the food, he was so hungry he jumped at it again and he choked and he jumped at it again and he choked and he kept jumping at the food but it was too far away. And his neck began to wear against the chain and then blood began to show up on his neck. And he felt the pain and the dog decided the pain is too great it's greater than the food. So the dog refused to move. That dog looked at the food after they loosed the chain, he was free but he was afraid to go to the food because he remembered the pain. I am going to say that again, he was free, but he refused to go to the food because he remembered the pain. Do you see the problem? It is the memory of the pain. Are we afraid to believe we can do great things at forty? Yes we are. You go to apply for a certain type of business, will they say to you--you can't do? Or to apply for a car loan or get a mortgage, that they would tell you can’t do that. How do they know that?? They don't know, but they've been tied to the stake so long and they were told no for so long they believe that they can not reach the food--even after the chain is loosed. Write this down please this is very important, we can die in the presence of resources. Africa is suffering from this right now. The wealthiest continent on Earth is Africa and yet it's the poorest!
I am going to say that again, you can die in the presence of plenty, even though you call yourself free--the memory is more powerful than the chain!! In other words, the chain is still in your mind--we are tied to a stake. Our social, economic and religious conditioning ties us to an invisible stake!! Positions does not guarantee disposition!! You change your position but your disposition is still the same. In other words, new does not guarantee change without mental transformation!! You can go to a new place, but continue to do the old things!! What you feed your soul determines your quality of life! Be careful, it can decrease your freedom! In essence, freedom is a result of mental adjustment, not relocation. All of the children of Israel, never made it to Canaan. Their location was changed, but the mentality never did. Forty years they were still thinking the same way. I want to show you something about these people. It is possible to be delivered and not free!! Deliverance is the physical relocation of liberation of a person. It removes your environment of oppression. Deliverance is the separation of the slave from the physical condition of slavery. Deliverance is just physical relocation or the breaking of something physical. We must never confuse the difference with slavery and your freedom! As a matter of fact, oppression is the cancellation of self-determination! When a person would say, I can not make my life anymore, this is called breaking the spirit. Oppression produces deep spirit of dependency and lack of self-determination when you are in slavery you become dependent on the master and you are afraid to think for yourself. That's why creativity is never among slaves, because the master thinks for them. They were not trained to think about solving their own problems with new ideas. A slave mentality is never creative, write that down. A slave mentality thinks about pain but not planning! A slave mentality always thinks of what cannot be done. Why it can't be done. The pain--your mental state is more important than your physical state. You are truly not free until your mind is liberated.This is why at 400 years in this country we must deal with our question--what are we mentally? Freedom is first a mental condition before it is a physical statement. This was the foundation of the freedom statement of Yahusha Ha Maschiach, He said the truth will make you free! The truth. Knowing the truth is mental experience. You will know the truth about yourself--something is supposed to happen in your mind and then you are free. I became free when my mind discovered who I was in HaMashiach! My whole life changed!!
Kings and Queens, you got to become a global citizen thinker, if you're gonna be free from this small mentality!! There is so much that we could do, start our own businesses. Buy up land and construct buildings for businesses and residents. This is a total shift in our mind!! How many businesses would have a place to operate if you were to build that building? Who would be hired to construct, wire and plumb these buildings? Yet when you are stuck to the chain--for 400 years you find that the time has passed but mentally it is more of the same.
After 400 years is it too late? Is it possible to do it?? Four hundred years later, we have to know that our mental state is more important than our physical state. Write this down, no one is more dangerous than a mountain man with a valley mentality. I am going to say that again-- no one is more dangerous than a mountain man with a valley mentality. We own the mountain now, you know, but our mind didn't make it--it's still in the valley! Change has come and the mind is still set. One of the things that I learned is that deliverance is not freedom--it prepares you for freedom! You're not free until your mind is free! Your mind can only be free by the discovery of the truth about yourself! Freedom is not the absence of law, freedom is actually requirement of more law, of discipline and responsibility. Deliverance provides you the opportunity to be free. When the Most High delivered those people out of Egypt, they weren't free. It took 40 years and give he gave them a chance to see if they were ready for freedom and they didn't make it. Write this down please, Sir Winston Churchill said it so well he said the price of greatness is responsibility! You want to be great you, have to become responsible for your own future. Design and believe that you can actually design your own future. This is why I believe that the greatest prototype we have about slavery is the children of Israel coming out of Egypt. It is easy to exist in slavery than to live in freedom! Some people are so busy trying to get over their past they don't have time to live their future! There is no freedom without responsibility! Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.
Kings and Queens we can no longer drag the weight mentally of our past!! Now I want to warn you--you should never forget your past! Because the children need the past to appreciate the future!! Tell them the story--it's important. Can I put it this way, when your spirit is broken-- you have no more desire to go to the future. And what slaves dread the most is a broken spirit. You stop trying, you stop wanting to achieve greatness.
Look at us in this country, 400 years and still in bonds in our mind. It is this mental slavery that has far exceeded the 40 years that the Most High processed slavery out of the Children of Israel. How many of our brightest prospects of citizens were lost in the generations of this 400 years? Remember in scripture that 40 years a generation. Look at that, 40 days and 40 years from freedom--this is the distance the Israelites took. 40 years to walk 40 days! How far have we travelled in 400 years? Are we still in chains or any other kind of restraint that has changed over the years with the same result--bound up potential, crushed under an oppressive system?
Kings and Queens, the shortest distance between two points is a straight line so the shortest way was 40 days--they gonna go straight to freedom, into Canaan. The Most High, says you know something, I need to fix how they think! So what the Most High did was take them around this little area here called Sinai, He just took Him in circles for 40 years. The Most High can empower our minds but you must empower your will! They went in circles, all throughout the wilderness for 40 years. Do you wonder why the Most High got these people walking for 40 years in the land? He looks at them and says, you ain't ready for that yet.
He would not allow all of their old thinking to enter in to the promised land. If they were allowed to continue without His intervention, they would all have died right there in the desert. If you read the Bible, it says the Most High led them around for 40 years in the wilderness and He even fed them, healed them, protected them, but didn't take them in, just because the Most High is feeding you doesn't mean you go in! Some of you all are saying this in the Bible??
Exodus 13:17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that Yah led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for Yah said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt: verse 18 But Yah led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.
Look at that, the Most High wanted to take them away from oppression mentally!
The six benefits of oppression, I did say it, the benefits of oppression.
the oppressor protects you
the oppressor fights for you
the oppressor thinks for you
the oppressor provides for you
the oppressor plans for you
the oppressor makes the oppressed depend on him
There you go, that's the benefits. The oppressor makes you useless he destroys--thinking!! So watch the set up. While this assistance comes in, is about survival and not real tools to living. Not education so the schools are not improved. Nor is there any teaching on useful skills that are needed right there in the community. Like farming to grow coffee which would become a whole industry! These things would help build up the mind and give the mind a means to be productive and not require assistance. Another effect is that those being oppressed will be like children. Why do you need education?? There is no need we will think for you!! That's why we love oppression. Oppression is so attractive because it makes you lazy. In other words, responsibility is the result of freedom. The oppressor makes you lazy, I want you to read a couple verses:
Numbers 11: 4-6 4 And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
So you had food to eat in Egypt, but at what cost!
Verse 5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: verse 6 But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.
Take the bread that is in the Bible, let's go back to the good old days free peanut butter and government cheese! All of this assistance that was never meant to help your mind being made free, but bound in an oppressive system! While we are being set up to get all of this help, how about you help yourself? In other words, we would be so dependent we can't even think of a new industry! They said in the scripture, we remember the fish that costs nothing--why can't you get a boat and catch your own fish? Even open a fish cannery--start a fish exporting company? Or would you rather complain that the cost to starting a fish cannery, costs too much to--so you import. What could you save by opening a canning factory? It's just too complicated, because the Egyptian mentality is still in charge. Write this down, it is not what you are that holds you back--it's what you think you are not, that holds you back! What you see and what you hear are small things compared to what you think! The mentality of four hundred years is interesting.
The human will is the most powerful force on earth and the Most High is able to deliver the people from the power of Pharaoh but not from the power of their own minds!! The most difficult thing in life I've learned is to try and change a human's mind it's almost impossible! I want to describe a picture of a man that is holding on another man down. Here's the problem--you cannot hold a man down without staying down with him!
So we find when there is some one who would dare to reach, to try, to believe in better, to do better--those that around you could even assist in attaining your goal will tell you no and they look just like you! So when you go to the bank to get a loan, the person telling you no looks just like you. Then in the insurance company the person who don't want pay you what you paid all of those years look like you!! You go to get a business license the person who across the table ask you what you want this for? You can't do this this!! This thing is too big for you! And the guy is holding you down that's why he's still there--he can’t get promoted because he holding people back! I'm gonna show you how this works. Now the ones in position to hold the others down are committed to holding others back. So much so that they are not moving towards promotion so that others rise up too. The time comes, they have to make a decision. That's why people gotta get this!! Four hundred years is up yet it you are not free truly in your mind and thoughts! That statement of fact means nothing to you!! Your life will not be on any kind of path to change, to move to a different position of empowered instead of being under another’s power! In other words, in the past we used to pull them down--it's worse now we are holding them down! Four hundred years is up!! That's enough!! We got to change everything, right now!! So the question is the clock has gone off--that's it, four hundred years is up! What are you gonna do now? If you let your brother or sister go, you can get ahead. Not only let them go, help them up! The power of the oppressor is what ignorance!! If they can keep you ignorant of the truth about your ability, they can oppress you! Remember that there is no freedom without responsibility! Here is a list of the ten effects of oppression:
Irresponsibility
the hatred for hard work
the spirit of laziness
the spirit of fear
the spirit of low self-esteem,
the spirit of poor self-concept
the spirit of selfishness
the spirit of lack of creativity
the spirit of distrust, you don't trust your own people
a lack of initiative, you wait for people to tell you what to do.
That's what oppression produces, that mentality is a dangerous one and those are the things we're still battling with! We are struggling to get out of the desert and after 400 years we need to be remembering and we not to forget where we came from. Exodus 14:21-22 21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Most High caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. 22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
The whole community grumbled against Moses,the same guy who just set them free--you know when I get mad when people talk bad about leadership, I get angry and the folks that are talking about them, haven’t done anything at all. He's our Father, the Bible never says to honor your perfect father--it says honor your father once you identify who Moses is you better be careful! Remember Miriam? You start talking bad about the person who delivered you, the Most High will kill you. He says, I am gonna kill you Miriam--your brother is imperfect but he's a
deliverer! The same guy that set them free. What are they doing? They are murmuring let's see what they said. They said well if only we had died by the Most High's hands. These people must be crazy!!! You see when a pressure of freedom hits? They want to die, could you imagine people crying for freedom for 430 years they're finally free and their first complaint is you want to go back?? What is that, mental damage. With the next statement if only we had died by the Most High's hands in Egypt there we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food be wanted, but you have bought us out here to starve?! This man delivered them from slavery, they said you set us up to kill us--we want to go back to garlic and onions at least it was free!
Exodus 16:4-5 4 Then said the Most High unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no. 5 And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.
Deuteronomy 8:4 4 Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.
The Most High says I AM the great I AM, and that I have taken excellent care of you!! Why are you murmuring so much? We can be the most ungrateful people! They say you didn't do this, you didn't do that--400 years man, everything negative?? The Most High says you are not gonna make it! You didn't even appreciate the free food! I kept your shoes for 40 years didn't wear out--that's a miracle! Neither did your clothes wear out--40 years same clothes! Miracle! They're complaining, they want to go back to slavery!
Numbers 14:11 And the Most High said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?
The wilderness is the Institute of discipline, the last 400 years the Most High has been trying to get us to discipline ourselves, to change our thinking about ourselves and about Him!!
They wouldn't get the lesson. They never got the lesson, the wilderness is the University of work--it trains you to work for yourself now. You work for the master for 400 years now you're gonna work for yourself, He says learn how to be responsible! 400 years means that you are now responsible for your own future. Look at the Book of Numbers 14:20-23 20 And the Most High said, I have pardoned according to thy word: 21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Most High. 22 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice; 23 Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:
The Most High is swearing that He will kill them. You thought that He was joking?! Read why he said he's not gonna take them him in. He said they tested him and didn't obey Him!
Are we gonna make it over?? Not one who has treated me with contempt, will ever see it says the Most High. I don't know about you but I going over! Now you got to talk for yourself, you know? The Most High, I'm going over. I changed my mind. You don’t have to kill me in this desert!! I'm willing to change my old thinking--crossing over.
So in their murmuring the people got what they asked for:
Numbers 14:2 2 And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would Yah that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would Yah we had died in this wilderness!
Only two people who survived the desert was Caleb and Joshua. Everybody else got killed. I want to explain to you why the Most High kept them in the wilderness for 40 years--because it takes 40 years for a new generation to grow up. So when the Most High bought them out he took them in in circles for 40 years, He was waiting for their children to drop He wanted what was in their loins! So He kept them going in circles for 40 years until He got the next generation of people who never were in Egypt and the Bible says when those children were born then the Most High killed all the parents.
The Bible says Ecclesiastes 10:16 Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning!
I will say that again, woe to the country when your leaders think like slaves! That word woe means damned, it's a horrible word. It means that you are damned. That means the country is damned if the leaders think still like slaves! And it continues and who’s princes feast in the morning. In other words, all they want to do is sit, up to get fat and drink liquor. They get up early to eat a big meal, but they are wasting time. They have got no dream for the country! The Most High says woe to that land. There we are for four hundred years and we are still up early eating a big meal, when in the morning--we are supposed to be working!
Ecclesiastes 10:17 17 Blessed art thou, O land, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness!
That means you work first and then you eat what your work for. I did my research on this statement, eating in the morning, it actually is a Hebrew idiom it means you eat other people's food because you never work, for that. It is supposed to be that you work all day and then you eat. But that statement means you eat first, which means that you didn't work for that. What are we exporting? Do you know how you measure the wealth of a country? It's called GDP gross domestic productivity, so the country is as wealthy as the productivity of the people. So you ain't producing nothing then you ain't rich. If you keep importing everything, you are poor. This is a time of transformation, 400 years is up, so how is the country going to change?
So Joshua was not born in Egypt. Joshua got his stories from Moses, who told him about this slavery thing and how they were oppressed. Joshua listened and got to know the Most High of Moses as a young man. And then the Most High told Moses you're not gonna go over. Why?? Because of your mentality still ain't quite there. You still cuss the rock. The very rock that gave you water, you are cursing at it, your mentality ain't right. So He said I can't take you over. He said lay your hands on Joshua, he will take the people over, the people who were not born in Egypt. So Moses brought Joshua put him before the, people laid his hands on him and said you shall take the people over. Joshua said okay, got it. And the Bible says that Moses died the Most High took him on the mountain buried him, no one knows where his grave is today. The last chapter of Deuteronomy says and Moses went up to the mountain and was no more and the Most High said to Joshua now take these people over.
He says Moses is dead, listen to me please, this is the most important moment--He says, Joshua, Moses is dead so take the people, the children of Israel over to the promised land. That's the way the book ends. When you turn the page the first chapter is the book of Joshua it says and the Most High said to Joshua, Moses is dead--now wait a minute you told me that before you're telling me again! It is two different statements though, the first statement is referring to a person, don't miss this!! Joshua, Moses is dead--that's the person. Then in chapter one of Joshua--Joshua, Moses is dead--that's the era!
