Fiveamprayer hear me carefully today everything you will ever experience in life begins not in your environment, but in your mentality, you can change your clothes! change your job! change your location, but if you never change your mind, your life will always return to its original condition, because your life can never go further than you’re thinking. The greatest war you’ll ever fight is not against people! not against demons! not even against poverty or sickness it is the battle that takes place between your ears. The mind is the battlefield of destiny. The place where purpose is either born or aborted! Every victory in your life will begin in your thoughts, and every defeat will begin there too. That’s why the Bible never told us to be transformed by prayer or by fasting first or by worship first it says, be transformed by the renewing of your mind because transformation does not begin with activity. It begins with attitude. Yah can only change you if you are willing to think differently about life! so many people are praying for change without protecting the mindset! that resistant! they want new blessings without changing their belief systems ! they say change my season, but they keep the same sight. They say change my circumstances, but they keep the same conditioning! but my fiveamprayer no change around you can last! until change happens within you! listen carefully Every new level of life demands a new way of thinking! the reason some people repeat old cycles is not because the HaSatan is strong is because their mindset is stubborn. Your life is waiting on your mind to catch up with your purpose. The mind is the womb of your future! whatever you conceive there you will eventually deliver in your reality. That is why the enemy doesn’t need to take your possessions to destroy you. He just needs to poison your perception. He knows if he can control how you think! he can control how you live, but I came to tell you today Before your next breakthrough! there will always be a battle, and that battle will not be in your finances, not in your relationships! not in your health! it will be in your thoughts. You will have to decide whether you see through fear or true faith! through pain or through purpose! through problems or through potential! that’s the battle before the breakthrough! when Yah is about to elevate you! Mentally they had been delivered in body, but not in belief and that’s where many of us are saved, but still small minded! free but still fearful! delivered but still doubtful. Yah said I can take you out of slavery, but until slavery comes out of your mind, you will keep walking in circles! so today This is not just another message. It is a call to mental warfare! A summons to transform the way you think because the life you are living right now is the result of the thoughts you have trained your mind to accept! your thoughts, and you will change your world if you can win the battle in your mind every other battle becomes easier. Your external world is a mirror of your internal world! the condition of your thinking determines the direction of your destiny! the breakthrough you are praying for will not come to you until it happens in you. That’s why they disturb you. This is the season to Guard your thoughts like treasure to protect your perception like gold because what you allowed to dwell in your mind will eventually dwell in your life! the quality of your thinking will always determine the quality of your living so before you ask Yah for a breakthrough ask him for a brainwashing of your mind by truth because when your thoughts change, your life must follow! the battle before the breakthrough is not outside. It is inside, and if you can conquer your mind, you can command your future, now hear me Fiveamprayer if the greatest war you will ever fight is in your mind then we must first understand the battlefield itself because you cannot win a war you don’t understand, and you cannot defeat an enemy you refuse to identify! the real enemy of your destiny is not HaSatan shouting at you its the whisper inside you! the enemy doesn’t destroy men with weapons he disarmed them with suggestions! the most dangerous ideas are not the one shouted from the world. They are the quiet ones you begin to believe about yourself. There are two kinds of minds at war within every person is the fixed mindset! the other the renewed mindset! the fixed mine says this is just how I am the renewed mine says this is who I am becoming! the fix mind doesn’t change! the renewed mine feeds change! The fixed mine is resistance to correction! the renewed mine invites it! fix mine interpret failure as proof of being unworthy! the renewed mine is preparation for mastery. Let me tell you something your mind can either be your ministry or your prison. Every decision every habit every reaction is born from how you think! that’s why the Bible says as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he! you don’t see with your eyes you see through your perspective. The eyes only capture images, but the mind captures the meaning! if your perception is poisoned, your entire interpretation of life becomes infected. You begin to call good things bad and bad things normal you miss seasons, you refuse the process that was meant to refine you! that’s why HaSatan doesn’t attack your hands. He attacks your head. He knows if he can confuse your perspective. He doesn’t need to touch your circumstances. Go back to the beginning. When he approach Eve notice he didn’t use a sword. He used a sentence. He didn’t change the fruit. he changed a view of it he said, did Yah really say! that’s how the enemy fights through distortion. He cannot create! so he corrupt the fruit was always the same, but her perception of it change, and that perception changed her behavior. Listen carefully HaSatan cannot steal what Yah gave you. He can only make you misinterpreted. He will make you look at your assignment and call it affliction. He’ll make you see your delay and call it denial! he’ll make you experience correction and call it rejection! In that moment you are grieving that lie, you surrender your authority in the battle of the mind! Your mind becomes the territory he wants to occupy!!

Yah wants to renew it. The enemy wants to recycle it. Yah says let this mind be in you which was also in Yahusha! the enemy says stay the same and blame others. The one who wins your focus wins your future! every morning when you wake up two voices greet you one that reminds you of your potential and one that rehearses your past! the one you listen to determines your day and if you repeat that choice daily, it determines your destiny that’s why spiritual warfare is not mostly shouting at Demons. it’s learning to silence lies! The mind is the arena where thoughts become thrones, either truth will rule or deception will sit there and ruin. You decide the ruler by what you allow to remain! Don’t start by fixing others! start by fixing your focus because what you continually meditate on becomes your master. The mind left untrained becomes a playground for chaos. The mind renewed becomes a command center of peace. Your thoughts are like architects they designed the future of your emotions, your relationships and your decisions if you think small, you will live small. If you think fearful, you will act fearful! when your mind is renewed by truth your life expands to match your revelation! so let me declare this to you. Your greatest assignment in life is not to manage your money or your time it is to manage your mentality because every other management flows from that one. The battlefield is not out there. It is right here! the victory will not be won by force, but by focus. You can have prayer power, but if your perception stays polluted, you will always return to bondage! because the chains on your hands can be broken in an instant, but the chains on your mind, take discipline to remove! This is why Yah train the mind before he trust the mission!! he renews your thinking before he releases your destiny! before he gives you the promise he cleans the perception. You are not waiting on your breakthrough. Your breakthrough is waiting on your mind! now hear me carefully. The greatest discovery you will ever make is that you do not see the world as it is! you see it as you are. Your eyes are not instruments of truth. They are instruments of interpretation. It is the lens of meaning You don’t live by what you look at you live by how you look at it! this is the law of perception in governs everything you cannot rise above the quantity of your sight. Your destiny depends not on what you face! but on how you frame it! Yah can place you in a land flowing with milk and honey, and if your perception is poison. You will still see giants instead of grapes. Look at the children of Israel in numbers chapter 13! 12 spies in the same land all the same land the same fruit the same promise but 10 came back saying we are grasshopper! two came back saying we are well able! same place different perception. The land did not change! but their minds did that’s how powerful perception is. It doesn’t just interpret reality. It creates it. Perception is the womb of your belief and your belief becomes the seed of your behavior! whatever you continually perceive you eventually produce! this is why the Bible never commands us to change what we see first but the change how we see! be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Listen transformation, doesn’t begin with a miracle. It begins with a mindset that’s why Yah never takes you into new seasons with only sight! before he promotes you he purifies your perception! before he increases your influence. He enlarges your insight because if you cannot see properly, you will mismanage purpose when it arrives. Some of you asking Yah to open your doors, but heaven is waiting for you to open your eyes. You cannot walk through divine opportunities if you interpret them without understanding in warfare, but is really wisdom training! you calling a delay, but it’s actually development. Yah is not punishing you. He’s preparing your perception for what’s ahead. That’s why Yahusha said in Matthew 6:22 if your eye is single, your whole body will be full of light. What does that mean? It means your life Follows your focus. If your focus is divided your life is scattered! when your focus is align with truth, your entire being becomes enlightened you see every experience in your life! passes through your internal lens that lens is built by your beliefs, your upbringing, your traumas, your habits, and your faith, but once you allow the word of Yah to clean that lens your entire world becomes illuminated! suddenly you start seeing divine fingerprints when others sea failure. You begin to recognize inside of chaos Lessons! inside of loss direction! inside of delay! here this principle perception determines participation! you can only participate in which you can perceive! if you can see purpose in pain you’ll avoid the very processed design to grow you! if you can’t see value in waiting, you will run ahead of Yah and calling it progress. This is not disobedient. We just visually impaired. We can’t see Yah’s hand because we have our focus on human evidence! when your perception is renewed your entire posture changes! you stop asking Yah why me and start saying Yah what are you teaching me? You stop reacting to what happens and begin to review what’s happening because revelation always begins with perception is purified! that’s why the enemyfights your focus more than your finances. If he can cloud your vision, he can control your direction. HaSatan doesn’t need to block your blessing. He just needs to blur your perspective once your lens is dirty. Every gift looks like a burden and every opportunity looks like an obstacle! so today I challenge you let Yah wash your eyes! let Him cleanse your perception, and until you can look at the storm and see the savior walking on the water! You must let Him train you to look beyond appearances and transform your perspective!!!

You begin to see that your entire life is a reflection of the lens you look through and when you start seeing through the eyes of faith, your circumstances lose the power to intimidate you. The law of perception is simple! but sacred you do not move toward what you desire, you move toward what you can see! if you can see destiny you will pursue it! if you can see greatness, you will grow into it, but if all you see is limitation, that’s all you will ever live in! so hear this prophetic truth before you can walk into your next level, you must first see it! vision always precedes manifestation. Yah will not give you what you can’t visualize because sight is the permission slip for destiny. Perception then is not just a mental act. It is a spiritual responsibility! Every time you renew your sight you renew your destiny. That is why the prayer of the mature believer is not change my life, but Yah open my eyes. Once you understand the law of perception! that how you see determines who you become, you must now master the patten of renewal because it is not enough to desire transformation. You must discipline your mind for it. Transformation is not an event! it is a process and every process has a patten! Yah works through pattens! because pattens preserve purpose!that’s why Romans 12:2 doesn’t say be transformed by the renewing of your emotions or your environment or your finances it says, be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that means the mind must go to a divine training program. Let me teach you this principal renewal is not magic. It’s maintenance. It’s not something that happens because you shouted! it happens because you shifted how you think every day you cannot cast out or thinking he must replace it. You can rebuke HaSatan, but you can’t rebuke discipline. There are three movements in the pattens of renewal. Write them down in your heart Because these are not motivational slogans. They are spiritual systems. One recognition expose the lie. You cannot renew what you refuse to recognize. The first step of renewal is revelation seeing the pattern that’s been sabotaging you that’s why the Bible says you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free truth doesn’t set you free by emotion it set you free by exposure, you must confront the patterns that contradict the word of Yah ask yourself who told me this about myself who defined what I can’t do. Where did I learn this fear because you can’t defeat what you keep defending the prodigal son restoration began not really left the pig pen, but when he came to himself, that means he recognizes the wrong pattern of thinking renewal begins the moment, revelation, interrupts routine to replacement install the truth. Once you recognize a lie you must replace it with truth. Renewal is not just removing thoughts. It is replacing them. I can do all things through Christ every time you hear it’s too late. Yah makes all things beautiful in his time! every time fear whispers, you are alone declare he will never leave me or forsake me. Renewal is the intentional repetition of revelation until it rewires your reaction. Three reinforcement repeat until it becomes reflex. Knowledge informs you, but revelation transforms you information fills the head revelation, renews the heart. That’s when you know, your mind is renewed when your first response is no longer fear but faith the goal of renewal is that you no longer try to think differently you automatically think truth! it becomes your default setting. You start interpreting delay as divine timing. Rejection as redirection and failure as formation! renewal is the factory of transformation. Every thought you surrender the truth is a tool. Yah uses to build your destiny to decide today no one living by all mental blueprints. Yah is giving you a new operating system! outdated software cannot run divine programs! upgrade your mind revelation, and watch your life align with his intention. Remember this law Yah never changes your situation until he changes, your interpretation, renewal is the bridge between revelation and manifestation. Grand Rising Fiveamprayer Family! Happy Preparation Day! Happy Day 6! As we continue our journey on the MIND Through pain, trauma, fear, and temptation you need the Holy Spirit to bring conviction clarity and calm so before your spiral out of control and say Holy Spirit, I need you in this moment help me think straight help me see truth and finally speak. What aligns with truth why because your words reinforce your thoughts every time you speak fear you strengthen fear every time you speak doubt you plant deeper roots of unbelief but when you speak truth, even when you don’t feel it, you start rewiring your mind as well. Philippians chapter 4 verse eight says whatever is true whatever is noble whatever is right think on these things Yah isn’t asking you to think about your wounds or your worries he’s asking you to speak His Word! I know it’s not easy, especially when you’ve been through real trauma real betrayal real loss but hear me just because the thought is loud doesn’t mean it’s true just because the fear feels real doesn’t mean it’s from Yah just because the emotion is valid doesn’t mean it gets to lead you get to choose you get to build you get to think like this and when you do when you begin to think Yah’s thoughts hold the lie captive, invite the spirit in and speak in alignment with his truth. Something shifts suddenly stop being a slave to every emotional wave you stop retreating when life gets hard you stop making permanent decisions in temporary feelings, you become stable focused dangerous to the enemy why because your mind has been trained and a mind is a powerful weapon in the hands of Yah if you want a strong mind, it’s not enough to wish for it. You’ve got to train for it just like your body doesn’t get stronger by lying in bed. Your mind doesn’t get sharper by sitting in emotional comfort zone. You cannot conquer emotional chaos with a casual mindset if you want peace, stability clarity and power you’re gonna have to work for it and the work begins in your daily disciplines. We have made emotional recovery a prayer point but Yah is saying I’ve already given you the tools. We just haven’t trained with them. Breakthrough doesn’t happen when you cry about your situation breakthrough comes when you rise with intention and confront your patterns that’s where real transformation begins daily in the quiet corners of your mind when no one is watching but heaven is paying attention psalm chapter 42 verse five says why are you cast down on my soul and why are you just disappointed within me hoping in Yah you know what that tells me even king David, a man after Yah’s heart had moments where his emotions were out of control control, but instead of letting those emotions run wild, he spoke back he engaged in spiritual discipline. He corrected his thoughts with truth. He didn’t just feel he fought and that’s what you have to do. You’ve gotta stop letting your thoughts dictate your day and start speaking speaking life into your soul. That kind of strength doesn’t come from a one time prayer or a weekend retreat. It comes from daily spiritual workouts, fasting prayer, meditation journaling, silence before Yah memorizing scripture these aren’t religious checklist, the mental armor you’re not doing these things to impress Yah you’re doing them to align with him because every time you show up to train, you’re telling your mind you don’t belong to fear anymore. You belong to truth Joshua chapter chapter 1 verse eight puts a plainly this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth. You shall meditate on a day and night so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it then you will make your way prosperous, and you will have good success success it’s not in your feelings. It’s not even in your hustle. It’s in your daily meditation not once a week and night and let’s be real. It’s not always convenient. You won’t always feel like opening your Bible. You won’t always feel like journaling when your heart is heavy you’re tired, but that’s the moment you’re training kicks in discipline is doing what builds you even when emotions try to break you you’ll have to wake up early silence distractions say no to certain conversations and feed your mind the right things even when everything around you is tempting you to spiral and here’s what’s amazing when you commit to this kind of mental training it starts to reshape how you think how you feel and how you react your first instinct isn’t a panic anymore. It’s to pray you don’t spiral you speak scripture you don’t break you breathe and recall truth the world make all that self mastery, but we know better. It’s spirit empowered thinking it’s a mind aligned with heaven. I remember a season when I was emotionally, drained anxiety had grip my thoughts and I felt like I couldn’t focus couldn’t rest. Couldn’t move forward. I tried everything external more noise more busyness more distraction, but nothing changed until I went back to the basics, I shut everything down. I opened the word I began to journal my emotions. I got brutally honest, honest with Yah and invited the Holy Spirit into my mental space and overtime. My emotions didn’t disappear, but they submitted my mind wasn’t always loud, but it became clear and from that place of clarity I found strength again that’s what I want for you not emotional denial, but emotional Dominion not fake positivity, but trained tested discipline, thinking the kind of thinking that stand strong even when the winds blow the kind of thinking that doesn’t bend every time pressure shows up the kind of thinking that carries the weight of your calling because it’s built on the word of Yah so I challenge you don’t just hear this message. Build your daily rhythm. Make time for Yah like your mind depends on it because it does journal why he says meditate on truth, faster, quiet the flesh speak life into your mornings and your night in his presence because when you train your mind daily, your emotions lose their grip and your purpose begins to rise. Let’s talk about the real stuff now the everyday moments when your emotions hijack your mind before you even realize what happened. You’re having a good day until one comment sent your thoughts spiraling one look one message one unexpected situation situation and suddenly your mind is no longer clear. Your peace is gone. Your heart is racing and all you can think about is what just triggered you triggers are real emotional hijacks happen and they’re not always signs of spiritual failure. Sometimes they’re just prove that they’re still healing that needs to happen boundaries that need to be built and mindsets that need to be rewired but here’s the truth. Just because you get triggered doesn’t mean you have to stay trapped. You are not powerless, you can train your mind to override the emotional. When emotions trigger you they want to shut down your response and have you operate only in your feelings!

We must stand on His WORD OR BE ruled by OUR emotions you see it in the spouse who walks away from a marriage in a moment of offense you see it in the person who burns bridges in anger, and then lives in regret you see it in the dreamer who gives up on their vision because discouragement convince them they were not enough. It looks like impulsive decisions. It looks like anxiety that won’t let you sleep. It looks like like walking away from things Yah gave you all because your feelings convinced you that you were finished! here’s the sobering truth! feelings change what feels overwhelming today may be irrelevant next week. What looks hopeless in your emotions might actually be an open door in disguise but when your mind is not anchored in truth, your emotions will keep you unstable. You wake up, confident in one day and crush the next you’ll feel motivated in the morning and defeated by afternoon. That’s what happens when your life is ruled by emotions you become double minded, and as the Bible says in James chapter 1 verses 6 to 8, the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind such a person is unstable in all they do instability doesn’t just affect your mood. It infects your destiny because when you’re led by emotions, you can’t build you can’t sustain you can’t be consistent. You start things and quit halfway. You love people one minute and resent them the next you trust Yah on Shabbat but panicked by Tuesday and all of that is not a personality issue it’s a mind issue. Your emotions have become the master and your mind is just trying to keep up. I’ve seen too many people with gifts and Yah dreams miss their moment because they let emotions overtake them. Fear kept them quiet when they should’ve spoken. Shame kept them hidden when they should’ve shown up. Anger burned down relationship relationships that were meant to bless them and now they’re stuck not because the enemy won, but because they surrendered their mind to a moment of emotional weakness, even more tragic, many of us confuse emotional highs with spiritual strength, we cry and worship, but collapse in the face of challenge. We feel empowered in a conference, but a simple text message throws us off for days why because your spirit can be willing, but if your mind is weak, your emotions will sabotage your assignment! Yah doesn’t just want to stir your feelings. He wants to strengthen your mind. Let me tell you this plainly emotional living is expensive. It will cost your time peace relationships, and in some cases it will cost few years of progress every time you allow your feelings to make the final decision you pay a price you may not see it immediately but overtime you will realize you stay too long in some places you walked away too quickly from others and you miss Yah’s best not because you didn’t want it but because your emotions wouldn’t let you receive it so what’s the solution you have to retrain your mind to lead your life!!you have to pause and ask is this Yah or is this my mood talking? You’ve got to let the word of Yah, interrupt the emotional chaos and bring clarity to your confusion because when your mind is ruled by truth, emotions lose their grip! you may still feel fear, but you won’t bow to it. You may still experience hurt, but you won’t let it harden your heart!!you feel but you’ll still choose Faith that’s maturity that stability that spiritual power because let’s face it. Life will always give you reason to feel off. People will hurt you situations will disappoint. You and the enemy will whisper lies into your emotions. Every chance he gets but when you mind his train trained, you’ll recognize the lie reject the trap and respond in wisdom. You’ll have the strength to say no this emotion does not get to run my life today truth will! that thats the kind of strength. Yah wants to develop!!You’re not just a emotional survival but mental Dominion you are not a slave to how you feel you are a steward of what you think and when your mind is trained, even when the storm rages, you’ll stand unshaken under distracted and fully grounded in truth, let me show you something that changed everything for me. Your mind is not just a battlefield. It’s a builder whatever you allowed to sit in your mind will eventually show up in your life. Thoughts become beliefs, beliefs, become behavior, and behavior becomes your legacy so if you want to change your life, you don’t start with your circumstances you start with how you think I know that sounds simple, but let’s go deeper!! Some of you are struggling not because your heart is weak, but because your mind is undisciplined, you’re not failing because you’re lazy or unspiritual but because you never learn, learned how to train your thoughts, you try to pray, but your mind wonders you try to worship, but anxiety takes over you try to believe but past trauma screams louder than truth that’s not weakness that’s trap and it’s time to fight back. That’s why the Bible says in 1 Corinthians chapter 10 verse five we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Did you hear that take it captive not entertain it not agree with it not replay it in your head 50 times you take that thought and you say this doesn’t line up with the truth of Yah’s word so it has no authority in my life that’s spiritual discipline that’s what it means to think like this so what does it actually look like to think like this? I use an acronym THIS to break it down think the word hold your thoughts captive I invite the Holy Spirit into your mental space. Speak with alliance with Yah’s truth let’s walk through it together together first thing the word you cannot think right if you’re not filled with truth, you cannot overcome lies by trying to feel better. You overcome lies by feeding your mind with what Yah has said it’s not about having positive vibes it’s about standing on eternal truth Yahusha didn’t resist the HaSatan with emotions he resisted with scripture. It is written that’s how your mind learns to win then hold your thoughts captive that means you don’t let every thought run wild you stop them you analyze them them you say is this from Yah or is this from fear insecurity past trauma or the enemy you are not powerless to your thoughts you are responsible for them and the more you take authority over your thoughts, the most stable your emotions become next invite the Holy Spirit into your mind. This is the part many believers miss you try to discipline your mind with your own will.

They are part of the soul Yah gave you Yahusha wept he got angry. He felt sorrow in Getseheme but even in the depths of emotion he chose truth. He didn’t allow his feelings to override his assignment. That’s what spiritual maturity looks like when you feel the fear but walk inn Faith anyway when you feel your fears in your mind being stronger! You must learn to recognize conflict between spirit lead mind and the emotionally driven flesh. The flesh wants relief the spirit wants growth the emotions want to escape the spirit calls for endurance and your mind is the battlefield with this war is won or lost. That’s why the enemies is not just attacking your circumstances. He’s attacking your thoughts because if he can hijack your thoughts your emotions will follow and your life will unravel, but you have a choice you can rise above that pattern. You can stop living emotionally and start living intentionally you can renew your mind daily with the word of Yah until peace becomes your default and clarity becomes your posture that’s what Yah wants for you. It doesn’t work when your mind is tossed by every move by every storm he wants you rooted! You must be focused! a person who’s not led by emotions, but led by revelation! today I dare you to pause and ask, have I been thinking with my emotions or thinking with my mind have I let how I feel become more important than what is true and if so, am I willing to shift because only when your mind is aligned with Yah’s word, can your life align with Yah’s purpose? What if I told you that your life today is a reflection of the thoughts you entertained yesterday that the quality of your decisions, your peace, your progress, and even your relationships all come down to the strength of your mind, but how emotional you are, but how gifted you are, but how trained your mind is because you can be anointed and still unstable you can be intelligent and still impulsive when your mind is anchored in truth you don’t just survive you lead you grow and you win is life will throw you into situations with your emotions are louder than logic. The diagnosis comes the betrayal hits the money dries up and suddenly your heart wants to panic. Your nerves want to quit and your voice wants to lash out but in that moment, it’s not your education or even your experience that will carry you. It’s the state of your mind! either you’ve trained it or your emotions will take over the Bible puts it plainly 2 Timothy chapter 1 verse seven for Yah has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power of love and of a sound mind not a scattered mind not a reactive mind the sound mind, disciplined, clear and stable. That’s how you’re meant to live so why does it matter to train your mind because life doesn’t always give you time to catch your breath before the next challenge comes if your mind is unprepared, your emotions will rise and run wild and every time you respond from a place of instability you distance yourself from purpose, but when your mind is trained in Yah’s truth, you respond with wisdom, not worry with faith, not fear look at YAHUSHA in the wilderness. He was hungry, tired, and physically vulnerable. The enemy didn’t just tempt his body. He targeted his mind. If you are the son of Yah was not just a suggestion. It was a mental attack, but YAHUSHA had trained his mind with truth so his response was instant it is written that’s how a strong mind wins by recalling Yah’s word faster than your emotions can react! think about Joseph betrayed by his brothers falsely accused thrown into prison. Everything in his emotions would’ve told him to hate to revenge to give up, but Joseph’s mind had been trained to see Yah’s hand, even in painful seasons he understood that purpose isn’t canceled by pain. It’s often refined through it. That’s the power of a renewed mind! Daniel was in a foreign land where everything was designed to erase it and compromise conviction the Bible says Daniel purpose in his heart that he would not defile himself that purpose didn’t come from emotion. It came from decision, and that decision was possible because his mind was already made up before the pressure! in each of these lives, the common denominator wasn’t luck. It was mental preparation. It was spiritual clarity. It was discipline and I want you to know that kind of clarity is available to you too. You don’t have to live tossed around by fear, discouragement, or mood swings. You don’t have to keep losing sleep because your thoughts won’t shut off. Yah has given you the power to train your mind and when you do everything changes you start thinking before reacting you start responding with wisdom instead, instead of worry, you begin to hold your peace even in chaos you no longer let people‘s opinions control your value you stop being a slave sto feelings and start being a steward of your thoughts and make no mistake. This is not just personal development. This is spiritual warfare. The enemy knows that a trained mind is dangerous because when your mind is renewed, he loses access he can’t plant lies where truth has taken root. They can inspire you to take big steps or paralyze you into doing nothing they can connect you to people or destroy relationships in seconds, but the truth is when emotions sit in the driver seat of your life. There comes a moment in every life when your emotion scream, one thing and truth whispers another, and in that moment, the battle is not around you it’s within you your tears may say give up your fear may shout run, but deep down there’s a still voice from Yah saying stand think and trust me now more than ever we are being shaped by what we feel rather than by what we know we scroll, we compare we react we feel overwhelmed and call it real. We feel unworthy and assume we are not but let me ask you what if your emotions are lying to you! what if the storm isn’t outside you but the one raging in your mind, the Bible didn’t say follow your feelings it says in Proverbs chapter 4 verse 23 guard your heart with all diligence for out of it flows the issues of life. In other words your life is flowing in the direction of your thoughts, not your emotions what you’ve allowed to occupy your mind determines the peace you have the strength you’re walking in and the purpose you fulfill! interestingly some of us spend more time managing our social media feeds than we do managing our thought life we clean up our faces or clean our homes , but leave our minds cluttered, vulnerable and exposed and then we wonder why our peace escapes us we wonder why we break down so easily why are we overwhelmed why we lash out or why we give up too soon could it be that we trained our emotions to be louder than our minds! furthermore, feelings were never meant to be our compass!!Thats where the truth is… the truth only becomes a weapon when your mind is trained to use it that’s why the enemy doesn’t always need to destroy your life to defeat you he just needs to confuse your mind if he can keep you reacting emotionally he’ll keep you from responding spiritually still there is good news you can train your mind. You can think like Yah wants you to think you can develop a mental discipline that’s stronger than your mood swings. You can grow a spiritual muscle. That helps you hold your peace when the world is falling apart, but first you must stop babysitting your feelings and start building your mindset. You must choose to Guard your heart in life the way of a soldier guards a city gate! diligently daily decisively! now I’m not saying your emotions don’t matter. They absolutely do Yah gave them to you for a reason, but they’re not your master they are messages!! emotions are indicator. It’s not dictators. They tell you something’s wrong, but they can’t tell you what to do. Only Yah’s truth can do that and that’s why your mind must lead and your heart must follow not the other way around thinking of it this way if you’re driving a car and your emotions are in the front seat your life is headed to crash, but if your mind renewed by Yah’s word is in control then even when emotions try to swerve you, of course you’ll stay steady because you’re not led by feelings you’re led by faith. Let me say this plainly if you want peace train your mind if you want focus train your mind if you want breakthrough train your mind Yah is not gonna do that part for you. He’ll equip you he’ll guide you. He’ll strengthen you, but he won’t override your thought life!!that’s your territory to take Dominion over and that’s where this journey begin! It begins in your mind and how you think and what do you feed it how you frame your struggles and how you feel!! Filter your emotions through faith because no matter how spiritual you are you cannot live a victorious life with a defeated mind! so today I challenge you not just a feeling inspired, but I think different differently to renew your Mind to guard your heart to stand in the authority that Yahusha gave you and say I will not be ruled by my emotions I will think like this renewed focused, surrendered strong because that’s the only way to rise above the noise and walk in purpose we live in a world that glorify feelings, a world that teaches us to follow our hearts trust our vibes and move with our emotions, but here’s what most people never pause to consider emotions are inconsistent their reasoning for like tides they’re easily influenced constantly changing and often driven by fear insecurity and past pain, so what happens when your emotions become the steering wheel of your life, you go in circles you crash you break things and you end up far from the life Yah designed for you! We all had moments where our emotions got the best of us lashed out in anger, made a poor decision out of fear or gave up because you felt hopeless, and in that moment, your heart may have felt right, but the outcome told the truth. Your emotions aren’t always wrong, but they rarely wise on their own and that’s the danger because when your mind is untrained and your emotions are unfiltered your spiritual walk becomes unstable! on the surface. It looks like a mood issue but underneath it’s a mindset issue this is why the word of Yah doesn’t tell you to trust your feelings it says in Romans chapter 12 verse 2B not conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Your emotions your mind transformation doesn’t start in your heart. It begins in your head because your mind sets the direction and your emotions try to follow likewise Jeremiah chapter 17 verse nine warns us. The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked who can know it that verse alone should stop us from using phrases like just do what feels right if your heart is unrenewed it can’t be trusted to lead if your emotions are unmanaged, they will deceive you even destroy you furthermore, when you let your emotions lead, you’re handing your future over to something unstable think about that. Can you build a healthy relationship? If every disagreement turns into an emotional breakdown, can you build wealth, discipline, or spiritual growth if every inconvenience throws you into panic or doubt no because emotions don’t build they react they respond, but it’s the mind trained renewed discipline that makes decisions based on truth, not just triggered. I’ve seen too many talented. People lose opportunities because their emotions sabotage what their gifts prepared them for I’ve seen believers anointed and full of potential fail! Not because they were weak but because they were untrained in their minds!

Proverbs 23:7 Solomon understood this of course his father was David so he understood this very well. Solomon says it this way that’s why I wanna focus on this verse for a couple of minutes. This is being missed quoted so often! that we keep missing the point Solomon never said as a man think it’s so easy he never said that we keep saying, he said that, but he never said that Solomon said as a man think it in his heart, so is he… the most important part of this sentence is not most important point by the sentence is not . I got an explanation here for you because we gotta understand this as a man thinks in his heart that’s who he is. That’s what he manifest. Write the word heart down please! let’s clear it up now! I did my research on this verse. I mean I was lead by the Ruach when I figured this out because I wanted to know the truth! I always wanna know what’s the truth. What does Yah mean and I discovered great amazement that the word heart has nothing to do with your chest. I say that because religion always makes you believe that when you used the term come into my heart, you are asking Yahusha to come into your chest. That’s what I thought too. That’s what they taught me! They even tell you to put your hands on your chest and pray in your chest! no wonder why you never got saved! no wonder you never changed!there’s no place in your chest for him to stay! your heart is a muscle that is controlled by impulses from the brain to pump. Blood is not a place of residence so I had to try and figure out when does The word heart has the same meaning word as mind!your mind! think about it it is below! One of the most fundamental backgrounds in understanding words is to know a little history behind those who use them. It is generally agreed by all that the language of the Tanakh is Hebrew. It is also generally agreed that the Tanakh is very "Jewish", and full of concepts, idioms, and phrases that are viewed as Hebraic. Scriptural writers of the Tanakh spoke, taught, and thought from this perspective. Until the time of the New Testament, the Word of ’Elohiym was everything that He had spoken. All scriptural thought was seen through the Hebrew language.




But several hundred years before ’Elohiym would take on flesh, the world was already experiencing some dramatic changes in language and culture. Behind the scenes, the Greek view of the world, and all that is in it, was brewing.

In our book, "Let this Mind be in You", I discuss the dramatic differences between Greek thought and Hebrew thought in much more detail. But suffice it to say, these two world views are in most ways antithetical to each other. This can be seen in no better way than the defining of words. Last time, we defined the word word from the Tanakh. We will now see how this word changed in time, from the thoughts and commandments of ’Elohiym, to the Logos. But first I would like to quote from some earlier works concerning this gradual evolution of scriptural words.

Edwin Hatch is eminently known for dozens of Greek works in the 19th century. Perhaps his greatest work is the Concordance to the Septuagint.




The following are several excerpts from his book entitled: "The Influence of Greek Ideas and Usages Upon the Christian Church". 1895. Williams and Norgate.

“In a similar way we shall find that the Greek Christianity of the fourth century was rooted in Hellenism. The Greek minds which had been ripening for Christianity had absorbed new ideas and new motives;”










“We have ample evidence in regard to the state of Greek thought during the ante-Nicene period. The writers shine with a dim and pallid light when put side by side with the master-spirits of the Attic age;”










“We have ample evidence also as to the state of Christian thought in the post-Nicene period. The fathers Athanasius, Basil, Gregory of Nazianzus, Gregory of Nyssa, and Cyril of Jerusalem, the decrees of general and local Councils, the apocryphal and pseudonymous literature, enable us to form a clear conception of the change which Greek influences had wrought.”










“Education was no longer in the hands of “private tutors” in the houses of the great families. It entered public life, and in doing so left a record behind it.”










“But when the product of one generation spreads its branches far and wide into the generations that succeed, its roots must be deep and firm in the generation from which it springs. No lasting element of civilization grows upon the surface. Greek education has been almost as permanent as Christianity itself, and for similar reasons. It passed from Greece into Africa and the West. It had an especial hold first on the Roman and then upon the Celtic and Teutonic populations of Gaul; and from the Gallican schools it has come, probably by direct descent, to our own country and our own time.”

This process took several centuries to saturate the known world, but it indeed took root and has never let go. So let's trace one simple word for now.







The English word word that we read in our New Testament is translated in most occurrences from the Greek word logos. The 'o''s are pronounced as the 'o' in log, not as in low. Its fundamental meaning is much the same as is dabar. It means thought, thing, something said, or utterance. This is the dictionary definition. However, it's colloquial meaning in the centuries before and after Yahusha‘’s time was quite different. Among the religious Greeks of that time the logos was the "god of gods", the divine mind of the gods. He or it was the "supreme knowledge", also known as gnosis.







He was right thought, right mind, right purpose, and right creed. In other words, the logos was right belief. Knowledge was salvation: say the right things and believe the right things. And so we have the very subtle shift from Yahusha‘ being the "instructions of ’Elohiym become flesh" to the divine "knowledge of the god of gods". Salvation became an intellectual pursuit, with structured creeds as it's evidence. Edwin Hatch said it better, again, when he said,

“… the word faith came to be transferred from simple trust in God to mean the acceptance of a series of propositions, and these propositions, propositions in abstract metaphysics … The proposition followed: Belief in God came to mean the assent to certain propositions ABOUT God.”







Theophilus also stated that the logos had two aspects, thought and speech. So, the teachings of Yah in the Tanakh concerning marriage, government, children, relationships, disease, clean food, unclean food, handling of criminals, waste management, health, money, and love evolved into a creedal system. The WORDS of 'ELOHIYM soon became an abstract, undefined concept that could be obtained by saying the right things, to the exclusion of doing the right things. The Jews of the so-called “dark ages” knew this concept very well. When confronted with the Crusaders, they simply stated that they believed that “Jesus was the Savior”, and were promptly released. Most confessing Jews of that time secretly returned to their underground synagogues, knowing that the evidence of a Christian was a good confession.







This would not be all that critical if the actual Words of ’Elohiym were impotent and ineffectual. In the book of Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) chapter 14 in referring to Hasatan it says, “Who made the world like a wilderness, and destroyed its cities, who opened not the house of his prisoners?” Is it any wonder how easy that would be for him if ’Elohiym's Word, designed to produce a land full of milk and honey, to prosper our cities, and to set the captives free, was rendered irrelevant by a Torahless (lawless) religious culture? Is it a coincidence that the devil (2 Thessalonians 2:8) is called the lawless one? When you redefine ’Elohiym's words, you redefine life and all that it means.







We are going to spend the next several teachings identifying many words that over the last 2000 years have been slowly redefined. Many of these paradigm shifts will astonish you. But more than that, they will give you a fresh perspective of ’Elohiym's glorious word. His Dabar in the flesh, REALLY does give LIFE! Next time: The Light and The Way.

Hebrew Mind vs. Greek Mind

EDUCATION

Lesson Twelve




There have been some areas in which we have compared very general subjects which could have gone on and on. Most of you have grasped the material very well. This class is not designed to inundate you with heady material that the average person you meet is unable to converse with you about. It is designed to reveal some very fundamental differences in the contrasting ways we all look at life. I remember growing up in the fifties and sixties and considering myself a Christian, and yet allowing evolution to fit very conveniently in my frame of thought. The evidence all around me seemed to fit evolution so well. As a teenager, I was convinced I knew everything. The world around me and how it got there seemed logical to me. Not one single person ever challenged my views. I was certain that there were as many Christians as there were evolutionists, so evolution must fit Christianity, for no Christian ever challenged it. It was not until the late 1970's that I ever heard a Christian state that evolution was not scriptural! WOW! I had never heard such a thing. As I began to learn, I also began to see my world much differently. I could testify about this for a long time, but that is not my point. My point is that as we grow we see things from greater perspectives, and we must acknowledge along the way that we do not know everything yet, and that even the things we think we know we may see differently in the future. I do not want to seem too elementary here, but the facts are that Yah does know everything, and He reveals many things that we have not learned by experience yet. We can learn and grow from these, if we are willing to concede this fact. For example, in a tiny baby's world, food comes from a breast. This is all he/she knows as reality and truth. As he becomes a crawler his reality shifts to a bottle. Food comes from a bottle. A little later he realizes that food comes from a jar. This is it! This is where food comes from. As he begins to walk, he discovers that the source of food is the big white box in the kitchen. At last, the source of food. One day his mother puts him in the car and they travel to a big store that is jam-packed with food. So this is where food comes from. His realities keep changing as long as he is willing to accept the new information. It is usually around the second grade before he finally realizes what he is eating and where it really comes from. Thank Yah, that this was not revealed to him when he was crawling!










THE GREEK VIEW OF EDUCATION

One of our realities today, so it seems, is our public education system, which comes straight from the Greeks. One of the main reasons for the creation of the great polis or city-state, was to achieve excellence through community education, to build gigantic gymnasiums for the purpose of educating the children. The elite were gathered into these community buildings and quickly stripped of whatever realities they possessed at that point. By the way, the word gymnasium is from the Greek word gymnos which means naked. The many were taught by the few and given instructions on every conceivable subject. The point was that knowledge was the key to excellence, and to know was to rule. The poor, however, were not permitted to be educated this way. The parents of the poor were discouraged from teaching their young the sciences or the arts. They were trained in a trade and this was perfectly acceptable. Most poor people were barely able to write their name. Less well to do mothers and fathers were not trained to educate. So the elite were raised by the village and were advanced by the simple fact that they participated in the community education system.

THE HEBREW VIEW OF EDUCATION

It is perhaps becoming more obvious by now, what the scriptural view of this subject will be. We are talking about the ancient view and not the more modern Rabbinical system. Fathers and mothers were responsible for the education of their children. Knowledge was the focus, but the knowledge was from their Creator and His moral values and judgments. The arts and sciences were taught as well, and all knowledge was founded upon scriptural principles. Some knowledge was not made available, even if it was truth. Sex education was not part of the curriculum. This is one of the most life saving principles of the culture of the Hebrews. We have been trained by our western education system that the more we are educated about the sexual experience, the safer we are. This was the thinking of the 1950's, for example. Certain venereal diseases were on the rise, barely notable by the way, and something must be done. Sex education was introduced in the public system to provide knowledge to children about everything concerning the sexual experience. Unwanted pregnancies were dominating the landscape and education was the answer. Since that time, venereal diseases have multiplied beyond control, and teenage pregnancies are common place. But that is not the point. From the view of our Hellenistic culture, knowledge is power and the answer to our calamities. The conclusion is simple. Education leaders are responsible for the administering of knowledge. They are not, by nature, concerned with the moral values of your child. The whole idea of the nature of your child's education is similar to the Greek view of heaven or salvation. Correct ideas and right thinking is the goal. What you do with those ideas is irrelevant. Fathers and mothers, on the other hand, very much have a stake in their children's future. The child's future affects the parent as well as the child. What the child does with his life is imperative. The child's longevity is part of the motive. His health is also at stake. The parents have the entire life of the child in mind.










THE GREEK VIEW OF THE WORLD TO COME

In Greek thought, heaven is a totally separate place from this present life. It is a world that can be entered by denying the existence of this present world, and accepting the gnosis of the initiated. Once this profession has taken place, then one has changed his state in life and is translated into another existence. As I have stated previously, in the spiritual world there are no laws or demands for all is perfect and there is no need for laws. Laws are designed for physical existence from which the initiate has just separated himself. This is seen as the presence and indwelling of the logos or divine gnosis. Those who attempt to obey laws or rules are demonstrating the lack of this gnosis, hence the term legalist. The reason you are here on earth is to find this state of existence. The purpose of sharing this knowledge is to place this gnosis in the next person. Once you have found the logos, you have entered the world to come, the ultimate goal. Heaven is a place of peace and tranquility that can be experienced only by trance-like activity. It certainly cannot be found by participating in the mundane affairs of life. This existence is particularly enhanced by sharing it with other like-minded people. True reality is the spiritual realm, and all that mankind shares now is not true reality but a passing phase that one must enter in order to have a part in the world to come.

THE HEBREW VIEW OF THE WORLD TO COME

In Hebrew thought, there is a world to come, and just like Greek thought it is a place that one can enter while still in this tabernacle. However, there are major differences. Just as the spirit, soul, and body are one life, so are these two worlds. In Hebrew thought, man exists in both worlds and is responsible to be righteous citizens of both worlds. The spiritual realm is to guide the physical realm. His ultimate eternal existence is a reward. He is responsible to take part in this existence and sustain the words of Yah. True knowledge comes from Yah only, and it's purpose is to sustain life in this world; to restore where corruption has taken place; to give life where there is no life; to preserve His creation. Heaven is a present place that guides and directs physical life, a perfect kingdom to rule over an imperfect, corrupt world.

I thought I might take some time to provide a short explanation of some other aspects of life that are seen differently by these two views. I will not labor through long explanations.










THE GREEK VIEW OF LOVE AND HATE

In Greek thought, love is a feeling or emotion that is solicited, and demonstrated by feeling or emotion. There are different kinds of these emotions and different Greek words to define these emotions. There is brotherly love, erotic love, and committed love, for example. Committed love is the love that man is to have for the gods. This is the famous agape kind of love that is taught in the church today. This love, however, is demonstrated by feelings or emotion, as an act of expressing true commitment. Hate is also a feeling or emotion that is generally reactionary. One can love until something negative is expressed and then love can quickly turn to hate. Hate has not a place in Greek thought as an original action. It is a reaction. One could easily hate the gods as an emotional reaction to negative circumstances, and one could just as easily love them when the circumstances change. When love is based on feeling or emotion then feeling or emotion can change it to hate.

THE HEBREW VIEW OF LOVE AND HATE

In Hebrew thought, ahav or love is based on the idea of preference or choice. It is not an emotional concept. When Yah said that "He loved Ya'akov and hated Esav", He meant that He chose Ya'akov and did not choose Esav. When Yah, in Bere'shiyt (Genesis) 22, said that He loved Isaac, He meant that He preferred Isaac. Love and hate are not emotional concepts in scriptural thinking. When Yahusha' said, "If you love me, you will keep my commandments", He was saying that if you have chosen me or if you prefer me, then do what I say. When He said that men loved the darkness rather than the light, He was saying that men preferred or chose the darkness over the light. In a Hebrew betrothal, the father chooses his son's bride. When vows are spoken, the son and the bride choose each other. In the commandments it is written that you are to LOVE Yah your 'Elohiym. You are to prefer "the Lord your God". This is directly related to the first two commandments that state that you are to have no other gods before Him. It is a matter of choice. In the Greek culture, emotion is solicited first, then commitment. Emotion must be sustained or the commitment fails. Why? Because it began with emotion. In Hebrew thought, emotion is a result of commitment.










THE GREEK VIEW OF PEACE

In Greek thought, peace is a state of mind. This state of mind can be found in several ways: through lack of confusion or chaos. In other words, when there is no war there is peace. Peace is the lack of war. This, I believe, is part of the background of 1Thessalonians 5, when the people will cry, peace and safety. From a world wide point of view, peace is taken from the western point of view. A peaceful neighborhood is one that has no crime to speak of. A peaceful home is one where the children are not in trouble. When a mother wants to have some peace she means she wants all kids out of the house and quiet to prevail. Many people go to a quiet resort somewhere to have some peace. When Israel and her neighbors are not fighting there is peace. Monks would find peace by going to the monastery. Yoga is a way to attain peace. Nirvana is peace. Peace and quiet go together very naturally. When Yahusha' said, "... my peace I leave with you." He meant the state of mind one finds when accepting Him as Savior. This state of mind is given to you upon confession. If you lose your peace, then it can be found by stirring it up.

THE HEBREW VIEW OF PEACE

In Hebrew thought, shalom or peace, is wholeness or completeness. When a person is submitted spirit, soul, and body to His Creator, then he is at peace. Peace is being whole. A whole person is actively involved in his world, his community, his family. He is at peace when he sees the results of his harvest, when he acts upon what his Creator directs him to do. He completes the act when he does what he believes. Peace is the full realization of Yah's word in your life and is not a "state of mind" or an emotional state.










THE GREEK VIEW OF BLESSINGS AND CURSES

To be blessed in Greek thought is to receive from the gods. Favorable conditions in war, weather, and finances are to be blessed by the gods. When a military leader is promoted, he is blessed. When financial rewards are reaped, this is a blessing. To be cursed, however, is to lose the battle or fall in financial ruin. When something seen as negative occurred, this was a curse. Curses could turn into blessings by a change in attitude toward the gods. The curses of the demiurge could be reversed through proper adoration. Simply put, blessings are when good things happen and curses are when bad things happen. Good and bad are relative, of course. If a violent thunderstorm suddenly occurred that evening, it was the direct result of displeasing the gods that afternoon.

THE HEBREW VIEW OF BLESSINGS AND CURSES

In Hebrew thought, blessings are synonymous with obedience and curses to disobedience, and are not tied to good or bad circumstances. In other words, the blessing comes at the moment of obedience, and so with the curse. Something good or bad happening could be the result of a myriad of circumstances totally unrelated to recent obedience or disobedience. The word of Yah promises blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. This is what we know. I will illustrate with an old Rabbinical tale. In a village in northern Europe in the 11th century, there was an old Rabbi that everyone sought for wisdom. One day a white horse strays into the village. That evening the butcher's house burns to the ground. The villagers go to the Rabbi and say,"Rabbi, we have been cursed, for this morning a white horse came to town and Schlomo's house burned to the ground. What do we do?" "What!" says the Rabbi, "all you know is that a horse came to town." The next day the horse left the tiny village and that evening the butcher found a large sum of money buried underneath his burned house. The villagers came to the Rabbi and said, "We have been blessed, for the horse left and Schlomo can now build a new house." "What!" said the Rabbi, "all you know is that the horse left and Schlomo found some money." The next day the horse returned and Schlomo's son fell and broke his leg. The villagers came to the Rabbi and said, "We have been cursed, for the horse has returned and Levi's leg is broken." "What curse?" said the Rabbi, "all you know is that the horse came back and Levi broke his leg." The next day the horse left and the village went to war with the neighboring village, and most of the young men were killed. The rest of the village came to the Rabbi and said, "Rabbi, Schlomo has been blessed, for the horse has left and Levi's life was spared because he could not go to war due to his broken leg!" And on and on and on it goes.
