1 Chronicles 28:9




And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind H3824: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

We must stand on His WORD OR BE ruled by OUR emotions you see it in the spouse who walks away from a marriage in a moment of offense you see it in the person who burns bridges in anger, and then lives in regret you see it in the dreamer who gives up on their vision because discouragement convince them they were not enough. It looks like impulsive decisions. It looks like anxiety that won’t let you sleep. It looks like like walking away from things Yah gave you all because your feelings convinced you that you were finished! here’s the sobering truth! feelings change what feels overwhelming today may be irrelevant next week. What looks hopeless in your emotions might actually be an open door in disguise but when your mind is not anchored in truth, your emotions will keep you unstable. You wake up, confident in one day and crush the next you’ll feel motivated in the morning and defeated by afternoon. That’s what happens when your life is ruled by emotions you become double minded, and as the Bible says in James chapter 1 verses 6 to 8, the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind such a person is unstable in all they do instability doesn’t just affect your mood. It infects your destiny because when you’re led by emotions, you can’t build you can’t sustain you can’t be consistent. You start things and quit halfway. You love people one minute and resent them the next you trust Yah on Shabbat but panicked by Tuesday and all of that is not a personality issue it’s a mind issue. Your emotions have become the master and your mind is just trying to keep up. I’ve seen too many people with gifts and Yah dreams miss their moment because they let emotions overtake them. Fear kept them quiet when they should’ve spoken. Shame kept them hidden when they should’ve shown up. Anger burned down relationship relationships that were meant to bless them and now they’re stuck not because the enemy won, but because they surrendered their mind to a moment of emotional weakness, even more tragic, many of us confuse emotional highs with spiritual strength, we cry and worship, but collapse in the face of challenge. We feel empowered in a conference, but a simple text message throws us off for days why because your spirit can be willing, but if your mind is weak, your emotions will sabotage your assignment! Yah doesn’t just want to stir your feelings. He wants to strengthen your mind. Let me tell you this plainly emotional living is expensive. It will cost your time peace relationships, and in some cases it will cost few years of progress every time you allow your feelings to make the final decision you pay a price you may not see it immediately but overtime you will realize you stay too long in some places you walked away too quickly from others and you miss Yah’s best not because you didn’t want it but because your emotions wouldn’t let you receive it so what’s the solution you have to retrain your mind to lead your life!!you have to pause and ask is this Yah or is this my mood talking? You’ve got to let the word of Yah, interrupt the emotional chaos and bring clarity to your confusion because when your mind is ruled by truth, emotions lose their grip! you may still feel fear, but you won’t bow to it. You may still experience hurt, but you won’t let it harden your heart!!you feel but you’ll still choose Faith that’s maturity that stability that spiritual power because let’s face it. Life will always give you reason to feel off. People will hurt you situations will disappoint. You and the enemy will whisper lies into your emotions. Every chance he gets but when you mind his train trained, you’ll recognize the lie reject the trap and respond in wisdom. You’ll have the strength to say no this emotion does not get to run my life today truth will! that thats the kind of strength. Yah wants to develop!!You’re not just a emotional survival but mental Dominion you are not a slave to how you feel you are a steward of what you think and when your mind is trained, even when the storm rages, you’ll stand unshaken under distracted and fully grounded in truth, let me show you something that changed everything for me. Your mind is not just a battlefield. It’s a builder whatever you allowed to sit in your mind will eventually show up in your life. Thoughts become beliefs, beliefs, become behavior, and behavior becomes your legacy so if you want to change your life, you don’t start with your circumstances you start with how you think I know that sounds simple, but let’s go deeper!! Some of you are struggling not because your heart is weak, but because your mind is undisciplined, you’re not failing because you’re lazy or unspiritual but because you never learn, learned how to train your thoughts, you try to pray, but your mind wonders you try to worship, but anxiety takes over you try to believe but past trauma screams louder than truth that’s not weakness that’s trap and it’s time to fight back. That’s why the Bible says in 1 Corinthians chapter 10 verse five we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Did you hear that take it captive not entertain it not agree with it not replay it in your head 50 times you take that thought and you say this doesn’t line up with the truth of Yah’s word so it has no authority in my life that’s spiritual discipline that’s what it means to think like this so what does it actually look like to think like this? I use an acronym THIS to break it down think the word hold your thoughts captive I invite the Holy Spirit into your mental space. Speak with alliance with Yah’s truth let’s walk through it together together first thing the word you cannot think right if you’re not filled with truth, you cannot overcome lies by trying to feel better. You overcome lies by feeding your mind with what Yah has said it’s not about having positive vibes it’s about standing on eternal truth Yahusha didn’t resist the HaSatan with emotions he resisted with scripture. It is written that’s how your mind learns to win then hold your thoughts captive that means you don’t let every thought run wild you stop them you analyze them them you say is this from Yah or is this from fear insecurity past trauma or the enemy you are not powerless to your thoughts you are responsible for them and the more you take authority over your thoughts, the most stable your emotions become next invite the Holy Spirit into your mind. This is the part many believers miss you try to discipline your mind with your own will.
