Our session today is going to be focusing on the theme Rediscovering Kingdom Citizenship Authority.
We’re going to be dealing with understanding the power of civic rights. These terms probably have no connection to your religious experience because you probably came from a religious background in your church where such words like civic and rights are not a part of the sermons. I wouldn’t even talk about the word citizenship. We are literally focused so much on membership we know very little about citizenship.
In other words, we are more committed to obeying Sha’ul than obeying Yahusha. We get our gospel from the apostle Sha’ul instead of getting it from Yahusha. We quote Sha’ul more than Yahusha. Sha’ul is not the source. Yahusha Ha’Mashiach is the source.
So we’re going to focus specifically then on law-abiding citizenship.
There’s a term you know well in your secular society: law-abiding citizens. This is a principle in countries.
Every one of you wants to have power and authority, but I’m going to give you the secret right now to power and authority in a country.
Power and authority in any nation come from two words:
Citizenship and law.
Citizenship is a product of a constitution.
Law is a product of a constitution.
But law is created to protect the citizen of the constitution to have rights to the promises in the constitution.
Law is very important.
And it’s law and citizenship that give you authority.
I’m going to prove that today.
First we have to clear up something in religious people’s minds.
Not you — the one right behind you.
Religious people need to change their thinking.
They must repent.
First of all let me state that the Bible is not about religion.
The Bible is about a national state.
Write this down please.
The Bible is about a national state.
That state is called the Kingdom of Shamayim.
It is a state.
We read in the Bible in the last session a literal statement that is made by the scriptures which says they were looking for a country — a heavenly one (Hebrews).
Number two.
Yahusha Ha’Mashiach came to restore the colony of the state of heaven on earth.
A state is a nation.
A nation is a country.
A kingdom is a state and a country ruled by a king.
Only kingdoms have colonies.
I was born in one in 1954.
A colony is a distant territory controlled by a kingdom and ruled by the king from a distance.
I lived in one until 1973.
We hardly ever saw the king we were under.
We hardly ever saw the queen we were under.
But every day we sang to them.
Little kids in school we had to sing to the king and queen every day.
And we sang songs like this:
“Yahuah save our gracious king
Long live our noble queen
Yahuah save the queen”
Born to rule over us.
Righteous and glorious.
Long to reign over us.
Yahuah save the king.
We had to sing it every morning.
I grew up in a colony.
This is why you don’t need to see Yahusha to sing to Him.
Even though He’s far away right now seated at the right hand of power, you are still required to sing to Him every morning.
That’s a colony.
In 1973 we declared independence from our kingdom.
When we did that, the white man who was a governor from England — who was the personification of the king and queen in our country — who lived among us not far from my house in a big pink house with a big wall — he was the queen and king’s representative in our country.
Every single second he lived with us.
But he was from the throne room of England.
And the day we declared independence instantly he became illegal and he had to go back quickly to England.
When you declare independence from a kingdom, the governor has to leave.
Elohim sent a Governor to earth.
Matter of fact, the first person to come to a colony sent by a king is the governor.
Then the king sends his citizens to live there to bring the culture to the place.
The first person Elohim sent to earth was the Governor.
It’s in your Bible.
Bereshith (Genesis) 1:2
The first person that came to earth was the Ruach Ha’Qodesh.
And the reason why the Governor comes to the colony is to bring order and to bring the kingdom’s culture and laws and values to the territory.
The Spirit of Elohim moved upon the earth.
Why?
He’s the Governor.
Then the citizens came in verse 26.
“Let us make man,” Elohim says, “in our own image and let them dominate the planet.”
The Ruach Ha’Qodesh was here before you.
And the Bible says when Adam declared independence from Elohim in chapter 3 the Spirit of Elohim could no longer strive with man.
He went back to heaven.
And earth became an independent state without Elohim.
Elohim calls it sheep going astray each one to their own way.
Yahusha calls it a prodigal son leaving his family demanding his inheritance.
But when Adam and Chavah declared independence from Elohim in Bereshith 3, Elohim’s immediate response was:
“I have a plan.”
He said to the one who instigated the independence — HaSatan — He said:
“I’ll make you a promise.
I’m coming back to that territory Myself.
And the same woman you used to destroy this situation, I’m going to use the same woman.
And I’m going to come into her womb Myself.
I’m going to come back to the territory as a King Myself.
I’m going to take back My territory Myself.
And I’m going to crush your head.”
He says, “Myself.”
I’m coming to restore the colony.
The state of heaven on earth.
That’s why Yahusha came.
He never came here to start a religion.
He came here to bring a country and a government back.
That’s why He had to be filled with the Ruach Ha’Qodesh.
The Ruach Ha’Qodesh is the Governor.
Let me tell you who Yahusha Ha’Mashiach is in one sentence:
Yahusha Ha’Mashiach is the King bringing the Governor back to the territory.
There cannot be any colony without a Governor.
Yahusha Ha’Mashiach really didn’t come to earth mainly to die on the stake, and we have made that the issue. What earth lost was the Governor. Think for a minute.
So Yahusha’s number one goal was not the execution stake. His number one goal was to get the Governor back in the territory.
When you are doing an assignment, you don’t leave until you are finished. Am I right?
So Yahusha came to earth. He started a ministry. He lasted three and a half years. He healed the sick, but He stayed. He raised the dead, but He stayed. He cast out demons, but He didn’t leave earth. He cleansed a leper, but He didn’t leave. Why? Work’s not finished.
He went on trial. He stayed.
He was judged as a criminal. His judgment was not a religious judgment. He wasn’t against religion at all. As a matter of fact, if you study His trial, His trial was about insurrection. It means crime against a state. He wasn’t tried as a priest or a prophet.
As a matter of fact, when He first went to Pilate, Pilate said to the religious people, “Why did you bring Him to me? If He’s a prophet, you all judge Him. That’s your court.”
They said, “No, He ain’t no prophet. He claims to be a king.”
Pilate said, “Okay, we got to talk to Him now.”
You understand the difference?
You keep making Him a religious man. He didn’t found a religion. His problem was He brought a government back, and according to Rome there’s no other government but Rome.
So Pilate said to them, “Are you telling me He said He’s a king?”
They said, “Yes.”
He said, “He’s a king. He’s competing with Caesar.”
And Pilate asked Him a question: “Are you king?”
And Yahusha answered very plainly.
Yahusha said, “You are right in saying I am a king. For this very reason I came into the world.”
Now the trial is on.
And Pilate realized that his job is in danger because his job is to keep peace in the whole of Palestine. That’s the territory that Caesar set him to control. He’s the governor in that part of the colony.
And the report can’t get back to Rome that Pilate is allowing another local king to take over the territory.
So he said that. “Yahusha, are You king?”
And Mashiach understood Pilate’s fear, and He said, “Yes, I am a king, but don’t worry. My kingdom is not of this world.”
So don’t panic.
When the people heard that answer, they became angry again because they realized that Pilate was falling in love with the guy and might let Him off.
So the people said, “If you let Him go, Pilate, we will report you to Caesar.”
Then they said, “Because we have no king but Caesar.”
That was the issue.
Stop making Yahusha a prophet. Prophets have no kingdoms. Only kings have kingdoms.
Mashiach is a politician. He’s a king.
When Pilate heard the people say that they were going to rise up and send a message to Rome, Pilate went to his wife and said, “I’m confused. This guy is a nice guy. He said He’s a king, but at least it ain’t our territory. And I find no fault in this guy. Matter of fact, He’s good for me. He’s feeding the poor. We ain’t got to pay for them no more. Healing the sick. We ain’t got to give no more welfare and no medication to these people no more.”
In other words, Mashiach was a blessing to Pilate. Pilate probably liked Him.
His wife said, “Yeah, I think you better let that guy go. Something about Him I like. Don’t touch Him.”
And he went and washed his hands.
Then he went back out and took Him before the people, and the people cried, “Pilate, if you let Him go, we report you.”
He said, “What do you want me to do with Him then?”
They said, “Crucify Him.”
Now, I want to show you that He didn’t come ready to be crucified as the main issue.
So He went to the execution stake. He died. Fine.
He still didn’t leave.
He went back to the tomb for three days. He still wouldn’t leave. He came back in the body, came out. Job still ain’t finished.
So you thought the stake was the job. You missed the job.
His main point was He came to bring the Governor back.
He’s the King.
So He said, “I can’t leave yet. I got some work I got to finish my work.”
And He called it the promise of the Father.
The Father did not promise the execution stake. Yahusha said that. He said the Father promised the Ruach Ha’Qodesh would come back.
So He couldn’t leave until the job was finished.
So He said, “Meet Me in fifty days.” That’s what Pentecost means, fifty. Fifty days after the Pesach. “Meet in this room.”
And He said, “Wait. I’m going to give you not just the Governor. I’m going to give you authority and power. The Governor is not just going to be present. He’s going to empower you to bring the culture back.”
Here comes the Ruach Ha’Qodesh on the fiftieth day, and He fills everybody with power and gives them back their home language.
And guess what? After that, He left.
Job completed.
When a king sits down — you don’t know about this, right? Okay, please buy the books. There are certain principles in kingdoms that you need to learn.
When the king stands up, that means his kingdom is not in order.
Let me say it again. Write it down.
That’s a principle for kingdoms.
Remember, I was born in a kingdom. I understand this stuff.
When a king stands up, that means his kingdom is not in order. Something is wrong.
So when a king sits down, that means everything is in order.
Now, a king never sits until everything is in order in his kingdom. That’s a kingdom law.
The Bible says Yahusha Ha’Mashiach left the earth and He is now seated. That’s an important statement. You all just read it here in democracy and don’t understand it.
Seated is a powerful word in a kingdom.
Seated means it’s finished. I’ve done it. Everything’s in order now. The kids can pick up the spoils.
What have we been doing for 1,800 years?
Hanging around the stake.
You’re supposed to be seated with Mashiach in heavenly places, not hanging around the stake.
The stake has done its work. You’ve been forgiven and cleansed. The temple is clean.
Get busy taking back the territory.
See, religion has destroyed your mind to the point where all you think about is the means and you never understand the end.
Write this down:
The Kingdom of Elohim is not a religion. It’s a country.
If you read Yeshayahu (Isaiah) chapter 9, it says this:
“For unto you a child will be born, unto you a son will be given. His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty El, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
He’s talking about the coming of who? The Messiah. The King.
The next verse says, “And the government” — not a government — “the government shall be upon His shoulders.”
He’s bringing back what? Not a religion. He’s bringing back a government.
The government, not a government, which means that the one you lost, that’s the one He’s bringing back.
That’s why He had to be carrying the Ruach Ha’Qodesh.
The King is the government, and the Governor is the government’s representative.
He had both of them.
He was King carrying the Ruach Ha’Qodesh.
That’s why He said to them many times, He would stand next to them talking, and He would say these words:
“The Kingdom of Elohim is with you and shall be in you soon.”
In other words, He was carrying the Governor, and He was a King. He said, “But He can’t come in you yet because I got to clean you up first.”
He said, “It is therefore important for Me to get away from here, to go to the stake. I got to open this stuff up, because if I don’t go,” He says, “the Spirit cannot come in you. My leaving is important to you.”
He says, “It’s better that I go away from you. Otherwise the Governor can’t live in you. He’s trapped in Me right now. I got Him locked up in one body. But if you let Me go,” He says, “and I get to clean you guys up, then greater works you do.”
Here’s why.
Let me explain the greater works.
He didn’t say better works. He said greater works.
Greater works means, “I am limited to this body. I am limited to Israel.”
Mashiach only left Israel once in His whole life, and that’s when His mother and father took Him to Egypt as a child.
He never left.
Which means that the Ruach Ha’Qodesh was trapped in one body, trapped in one country.
And He said, “But if I go away, and I get to clean you guys up, man, listen to Me, the Ruach Ha’Qodesh gets to live in all the temples. There will be two billion temples all over the world, different colors, different languages, different locations, and I’ll be everywhere at the same time. Greater works.”
And instead of just two hands, I’ll have two billion hands.
Instead of just two feet, I’ll have twenty billion feet.
I can lay hands on a million people at the same time, not just one blind man.
Greater works.
It’s a government.
Write this down:
The foundation of all nations is constitutional law.
If the Kingdom of Shamayim is a country, then it must be built on constitution and law.
And that leads me to my next point.
The message of Yahusha Ha’Mashiach was the return of the state of heaven on earth.
He came to bring back the constitutional powers of heaven to earth.
He came to make sure that the culture of heaven could come back to the planet.
He came to recolonize earth with heaven.
That’s why Yahusha came.
Nothing to do with religion. Nothing to do with religion.
He came to bring the Kingdom of Elohim back to earth.
Let’s take a look at a statement He made about Him.
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 4:23, a verse you never saw before.
Let’s read it together:
“And Yahusha went throughout all Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and preaching what? The good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease among the people.”
He went everywhere with this one message: the country is here, the kingdom is here.
Look at Mattithyahu 5:3:
“Blessed are those who are spiritually bankrupt, empty, poor, vacant. Why? Because to them belongs the Kingdom of Shamayim.”
He said if man is spiritually poor, he doesn’t need religion. He needs the Kingdom, because that’s what you lost.
That’s why your religion ain’t satisfying you.
Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, futurism, and Christianity too.
I was born in church. I landed in a pew from my mother’s womb. My father was a Baptist pastor all my life. I grew up in the choir playing the piano. And believe me, we faked it for years pretending to be happy.
That’s why religion keeps you so busy, because you are empty. So they keep you in programs to make sure you don’t remember your emptiness. All these programs, programs, programs.
Mashiach says the only thing that will fill that empty spiritual void is the Kingdom of Shamayim. That’s what you lost.
Look at this one in the book of Mattithyahu 10:7:
Yahusha was speaking: “As you go, preach this message.” What message? “The Kingdom of Shamayim has arrived.”
Mattithyahu 12:28:
“But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of Elohim, then what has arrived? The Kingdom of Elohim has come upon us.”
The impact of the culture of heaven on earth is what He’s talking about.
When a demon is cast out or the sick is healed or the dead is raised, that’s a sign that the country of Elohim is in the neighborhood. It’s returned to the culture.
So healing is nothing special to Elohim. It’s evidence of the presence of the culture of heaven.
Can I pray this way?
You ain’t supposed to be sick if you’re in the Kingdom of Elohim.
Say it. “I ain’t supposed to be sick if I’m in the Kingdom of Elohim.”
So when a disease attacks your body or a cold or flu begins to come on, your prayer should be this: “This is not my culture.”
Speak to it.
Healing is not an incident, not an event. It’s a culture.
Mattithyahu 13:11:
And Yahusha replied, “The knowledge of the secrets of what? The Kingdom of Shamayim has been given to you.”
He’s given you some principles and laws to live in the kingdom now, and they are secret to those who are outside, but not to you who are a citizen.
Look at Mattithyahu 6:33:
“But seek first the Kingdom of Elohim and His righteousness, and all these things that you need will be added to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Relax. Go make a tall glass of lemonade and enjoy your life.
He says, “Give Elohim a hand for peace.”
The Kingdom tastes like honey.
When you understand it, it tastes so sweet. It makes so much sense.
Religion is confusing.
His first public statement, Mattithyahu 4:17:
“From that time forward Yahusha began to preach, ‘Repent.’”
Change your thinking. Why? “For the Kingdom of Shamayim has arrived.”
Mattithyahu 4:23. Now this one you never saw:
“Yahusha went throughout all Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease among the people.”
Notice He never healed first and then preached. He preached and then healed.
Check it in all those scriptures.
He declared the Kingdom first and then proved it was present.
Healing should not be something we should be running after. Healing and miracles should be running after us.
This must be the evidence that we have arrived.
How have the mighty fallen.
Okay, so all countries have citizenship.
And we get to the meat right now.
I can’t finish this. I know I can’t.
I’ll just give you enough to disturb you.
Everybody say, “Heaven.”
I’ve proven to you that heaven is a country, right?
Countries don’t have membership.
So please write these statements down. These are very important statements.
Countries have citizenship.
So here’s what I want you to remember. I want to show you what I’m going to be focusing on all year.
If you want to sign up for my CD every week, you can sign up for it. I’ll send you a CD every week of what I’m teaching live, because once you get this in your mind, your whole life changes.
Write this down:
The greatest gift a nation can give a citizen is citizenship.
The greatest gift a nation can give is citizenship.
I’m going to prove it right now.
Number two.
The greatest power a nation can give is citizenship.
It’s a gift and a power.
Number three.
The greatest right a nation can give is citizenship.
Very important.
And number four.
The greatest judgment a nation can mete on a citizen is cancellation of their citizenship.
And that’s what happened to us in Bereshith 3.
We turned our backs on the government, and Elohim canceled our citizenship.
When you cancel citizenship, you withdraw the gift, the power, and the rights of authority.
What makes you so dangerous in your country right now is the fact that you are a citizen.
It’s a gift to be born in America. You automatically become a citizen. That’s a gift. You didn’t look for that. It was given to you by the government, the constitution.
Secondly, the power of citizenship.
Your power comes from citizenship, not from membership.
Citizens are powerful. They are dangerous.
You’ve got 21 million illegal immigrants in America right now. That’s the count they have. Might be more. Twenty-one million. And the government has been trying to figure out what to do with them for the last 20 years. And every government keeps arguing in your country in Congress about them.
What do we do with these people?
Do you know why there’s so much argument?
Because when you give citizenship to a person, it’s not a piece of paper. It’s power. It’s right to even criticize you.
It’s dangerous to be a citizen.
That’s why all governments control citizenship. All of them. They’re afraid because citizenship is power and rights.
Write this down please.
Philippians 3. Let’s prove that you are a citizen of heaven.
It says, Philippians 3:19, “Their mind is on earthly things. That’s other folks who are outside. But our citizenship is where? Registered in heaven.”
He says, “And we are waiting for our King to come back because He is bringing everything under His control through what? His citizens.”
Now He wants you to bring things under control by His power in you as a citizen.
In your country He wants education to be under His kingdom control. He wants politics in your city to be under kingdom control. He wants education. He wants media. He wants internet. He wants everything in your country to be influenced by kingdom culture, kingdom values, kingdom morals — not a religion.
We’re not Muslims trying to take over government. We are like yeast. We just influence things.
Write this down. It’s not a verse.
Ephesians chapter 2. Read out loud please:
“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens of Elohim’s people and members of His household.”
Okay, two words to write down please: citizenship and membership.
Countries don’t have members. Families have members.
The word household means family.
Elohim has a family. You are members of Elohim’s family. That’s why He says you are called the sons of Elohim.
Members have no power.
Being a member of your family doesn’t make you powerful with Washington.
What makes you powerful with Washington is your citizenship rights.
The church has been so preoccupied with being a member of Elohim’s body, they don’t know their rights as citizens.
Membership benefits you because you know the Judge — that’s your Daddy — and you know the Lawyer — that’s your Counselor.
But it doesn’t benefit you when you start making demands on the government. You need constitutional rights. You need citizenship.
So citizenship is your legal status. Membership is your family status.
The King is your big Brother. His name is Yahusha. But first He’s a King, then a Brother.
You don’t get things from Mashiach because He’s your Brother. You get them because you are a citizen.
Let me give you an example.
Mashiach came into a temple, to the synagogue one day, and all the big pastors and bishops from Atlanta were sitting up there, all the preachers from Bradenton were there with their robes and everything. And here He comes in this little casual robe. He sits down, and of course they recognize Him as a rabbi.
Rabbi means master teacher.
So He sits down, and they’re going on with this meeting, reading the Torah and all this stuff, and He’s sitting there observing this thing. He’s a troublemaker.
And the Bible says He stood up. Every rabbi is allowed to read a couple of verses, so He gets up, probably reads a few verses, and the Bible says something weird. It says, “And there was a woman in the crowd who was hunched over.”
Watch Him now. He’s going to cause problems here.
It says He fastened His eyes on her. That means He stopped reading and went like this. In other words, she was like this. He saw this person’s head because she couldn’t look up. She probably had osteoporosis, that problem in the back, so she had to sit like this.
And He noticed that everybody was up except the woman.
So the Bible says He fastened His eyes on her.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with her.”
And He realized, wow, she’s in bondage by this disease.
So He looks at her. Obviously everybody tried to look at what He was looking at, so everyone turns.
And then they’ve got the woman, and the bishops and the pastors got excited. The Bible said they said to each other, “It’s a Sabbath day. What’s He going to do now? Wrong day. Sit down. Don’t fool with our message and our meeting today. Don’t you interrupt our meeting now.”
You know, they’re talking to each other.
He says, “What’s He going to do now? What’s He going to do now?”
Now watch Him. I want to prove to you that He doesn’t help her because she’s a member of the body of Mashiach.
He knows that they are whispering behind Him, so the Bible says He said out loud, “Is that woman a daughter of Abraham?”
He goes directly to a contract.
Legal stuff.
He’s not saying that’s My creation and she’s My daughter. He says, “Isn’t she in the contract?”
When you come to pray, anytime you pray, always pray, you’ve got to bring your Bible. You pray the Bible back to Elohim. This is the contract.
Now He’s talking to the guys behind Him, and He knows He got them.
He said, “Isn’t she a daughter of Abraham?”
They said, “Yes, sir.”
Good.
Then the contract says that the seed of Abraham in the contract legally is to be blessed, and none of the diseases of Egypt are to be upon any of them.
And based on scientific studies, they found osteoporosis in Pharaoh’s mummies.
So He shifted to rights.
He uses a word that only judges can use.
He said, “Ought not this woman…”
It’s the strongest word in English language.
“Ought” means right.
Ought not this woman, who is a daughter of Abraham, be set free from this infirmity? Not because I like her, because of the contract.
He says, “Lift your hands right now. Say, ‘Yahuah, heal me now. I have a right to be healed because I am in the contract.’”
That’s how you get healed.
You don’t beg Elohim for nothing.
David says, “I’ve never seen the righteous begging.”
Citizenship.
Write this down, and I’ll give you the secret:
Citizenship — the principles of citizenship.
Please write these things down because you’ve got to go back and study these for the next three months, and they will set you free. And when you read the Bible it’s going to make sense.
The Bible makes sense when you understand kingdom concepts.
Number one.
Citizenship is the key to empowerment.
Number two.
Citizenship provides legitimate access to all the rights and privileges of the state.
“Ought not this woman who is in the contract be healed?”
The contract heals.
Number three.
Citizenship is the source of individual personal authority.
That’s why that book on authority is so important. Please read it. It took me 27 years to write that book because I had to test it. I had to prove it in my own life.
The power of citizenship authority.
And it gives you two types of authority.
It gives you personal authority, and it gives you corporate authority.
Citizens are powerful creatures.
That’s why you can pick up the phone and make the police come to your house, because you are a citizen. You can stand before the whole government and demand your rights from government, and they can’t stop you. Why? Because it gives you personal power as a citizen.
The average person in this room is an ignorant citizen of America.
You know why? You don’t know your rights.
Do you know why? Because you haven’t read the constitution.
The greatest enemy of man is not the devil. It’s not even demons. According to Yahusha, God the Father, the King, He said our greatest enemy is this: “My people are destroyed, not because of the devil, but because of a lack of knowledge.”
You don’t know your rights.
Buy a new Bible every year.
This is my 2011 Bible here because I never read one Bible twice, because when you read a Bible you make notes in the Bible, and the problem is the notes you make the first time block any further revelation.
So I read the Bible through every year, total Bible every year.
I read it every year because I must know my rights.
That’s why Elohim can’t give you revelation. You’re stuck with the notes.
Every time you read a verse, the notes on the side make you keep repeating the same notes. Elohim can’t give you fresh revelation.
His blessings are new every morning. Don’t get stuck on the old one from last year.
Somebody says, “I’ve got a Bible that’s my Bible. I had it for 40 years.”
That’s stupid. That means you’re stuck for 40 years with the same notes.
Don’t be proud of that.
I’ve got over 30 Bibles in my house.
Every year I read them.
When I die, folks are going to find my Bibles. They can get revelation. They can write books after I die from just my notes in my Bibles, because every year I get different revelation on the Kingdom.
The Bible is like an onion. It has layers. You don’t get stuck with one layer. Elohim knows more than He told you.
So go to the bookstore when I’m finished, clean the Bibles out, and start anew. This is my 2011 Bible. Start reading and watch Elohim blow your mind.
Number four.
Citizenship is the manifestation of the contract between the government and the people.
You are a citizen of heaven, it says. It gives you power. It also gives you access to all the privileges.
That’s why the people in this country who are illegal immigrants want citizenship. They want access to health care, education, security, support, and they don’t want to be running around hiding anymore.
When you have citizenship, it gives you access.
The power of a citizen is unknown in the church because we are members of His family.
I like what the centurion said to Yahusha.
He said, “Come and touch my servant.”
Then he said, “No, wait a minute. I’ve been watching You. You understand authority.”
He said, “Now I work for a king too, Caesar. And I too am a man under authority, and because I work for a king and I have his authority, I can actually send people to do things, and they hear the king’s voice.”
So I say to one, “Go here,” he goes. “Come,” he comes.
He said authority gives you the power to give instructions.
“I’m a citizen of Rome. I’ve got power. I’m under the government.”
He said, “So You don’t need to come to my house anymore. Use Your rights of Your authority. You’re under whoever it is You’re under. Just say the word.”
Lift your hand up high right now. I feel the anointing on me.
“I am under the authority of heaven right now, and I declare every financial bondage is broken now in Yahusha’s Name.”
You’ve got to respond like you receive it.
I just spoke to you with authority.
Act like you receive it. Give Elohim a thank you right now.
I say act like you receive it.
I break the financial bondage over your life. Go, in Yahusha’s authority.
Don’t allow prophetic words to pass you by.
I am under the authority of the Kingdom of Shamayim right now ministering to you government civic power.
Take it and eat it. It’s yours.
Write this down.
The power of citizenship.
Number one.
Citizenship is the legal covenant between the individual and the government.
The Bible says your citizenship is in heaven.
That means Elohim has given you a legal contract between heaven. That’s why He said, “Wherever any two citizens come together and agree on something, whatever they bind on earth, heaven’s got to bind. Whatever they loose or allow on earth, heaven’s got to allow it.”
That’s the power.
You get what happens here. You control.
He says, “I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Shamayim. Whatever you lock up on earth, heaven’s got to lock it up. Whatever you apply, you’ve got the power.”
I’m giving you the key authority. I’m giving you the laws, the principles. You control what happens on earth.
He says a legal contract.
Write this down.
Only nations have legal components of citizenship.
Write it down. It’s very important.
Because until your mind changes from thinking religion to kingdom, you will never succeed in Elohim’s country.
If only nations have citizenship, and you are a citizen of heaven, then the Kingdom of Elohim is not a religion, because religions don’t have citizenship. Religions have membership, not citizenship.
Where are you from?
“I am a member of the Baptist church.”
Okay. What are you a citizen of?
It’s different.
We are so good at being members. That’s why we’re powerless.
If your family is poor, you’re poor.
Let me say it again. I’m talking physically now.
If your family is a poor family, are you in the family? You’re poor.
In 1954 I slept on the floor. We were poor. We lived in a place called Bain Town, the lowest income area of my island. Wooden house on four big rocks.
I kept confessing, “I am blessed. I am blessed.”
And I kept sleeping on the floor on a rug with roaches.
Confession didn’t do it.
I had to get a revelation that I’m a citizen. I have no right to sleep on this floor.
We enjoy poverty almost as a holy badge.
“But we don’t want too much, you know. We want to stay humble. We don’t want a lot because we just want to stay close to Elohim.”
Dumbest theology I’ve ever heard in my life.
The Catholics call it holy poverty. That’s a theology in the Catholic church because it keeps you humble, they say.
Well, here’s my problem.
If you read the Bible from cover to cover, anyone who ever kept company with Elohim became wealthy.
Stop with Abraham.
You don’t hang out with Elohim and stay poor.
The Bible says David took out of his personal account and paid for the temple. No taxes. It says his place, the guy.
How can a man take his personal checkbook and finance the temple for Elohim?
And here you are talking about, “I’m humble and I love Yahuah.”
You mean you love Yahuah?
What’s amazing is Abraham never prayed for things. He submitted to the covenant, the contract.
Lift your right hand right now.
“So shall you, so shall I be with you in Yahusha’s Name. From this beginning of this day, you shall live under a covenant, a contract with your government, and the government shall supply your needs according to its riches in the heavenly places.”
You can’t take no more, so I’ve got to go.
Read Ephesians please, chapter 2 again out loud:
“Consequently you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens of Elohim’s people and members of this household.”
You are citizens of heaven.
So this is my scripture for the whole year. I want you to make it yours.
Philippians 3:19. Read:
“Their minds are on earthly things, but your citizenship is in heaven. He brings everything under His control, and He will transform your lowly sickly body to be like His.”
Citizenship rights.
Look at Luke 10 out loud. Read:
“I give you authority,” He says, “to trample on snakes and scorpions and all the power of the enemy.”
What a promise. Hallelujah. What a promise.
“I give you what? Authority.”
Authority is not the same as power.
Authority is rights.
Authority is permission to use power.
Please get the book out there, because you’ve got to study this stuff. Turn the TV off and read. Get your brain stretched. You need knowledge. Don’t let ignorance become your friend. It’ll destroy you.
Authority means your permission to use power.
“I give you authority to exercise your citizenship,” He says, “and to trample upon what? Snakes and scorpions.”
These are Hebraic idioms. An idiom is a symbol that means something else. If you study the Bible, this is used many times. Scorpions and snakes represent demonic powers, satanic powers, all satanic powers. It could be political, social, economic, physical, medical.
He says, “I’m going to give you authority to exercise your power as a citizen over all powers of the enemy.”
You shouldn’t be under any circumstance after this conference. You should be on top of them.
Whatever’s over your head is still under His feet. So sit where He sat so that it can be under yours too.
You are citizens and you have authority.
I call it Kingdom Citizenship Authority.
I’ve got a lot more to say to you, but you can’t take it anymore, so let me just give you a conclusion.
Write this down. I want you to go back and share this with your family.
The three most important words you’re going to learn this year:
Kingdom. Citizenship. Authority.
Kingdom is defined as a national government ruling a state. The Kingdom of Elohim is a sovereign King ruling territory. It’s a country.
Citizenship is legal status with constitutional rights and privileges, and that Bible in your lap is your constitution. It gives you rights and privileges.
Authority is defined as the personal right to exercise power through alignment with constitutional law.
The last one is most important.
You can be in a country and still not have authority because you can actually lose authority if you don’t align yourself with the laws of the country.
There are many citizens of America right now who have no authority. They’re locked up in prison.
Why? They violated law.
When you violate law, you cancel your authority to use the power of citizenship.
It’s called sin.
The church is weak because we have law-breaking citizens, not law-abiding citizens.
Your private life is a mess, and then you come in church and ask Elohim to bless you.
You are a law-breaking citizen trying to get rights.
You’re preaching the gospel in the pulpit every Sunday, and the organist is your lover, male or female, and then you ask Elohim to pay your light bill.
You have no right to demand nothing from Elohim if you are breaking the law.
Any country works that way.
You can’t go to the government and ask the government to give you money and you owe taxes. You broke the law.
Some of you in this room have not paid tithes for ten years and ask Elohim to bless you. Then you send money to, you know, somebody on TV expecting to get a blessing, and Elohim is saying, “You can’t get blessed with this. This is debt. You’re paying. This ain’t seed.”
Elohim calls it robbing.
He said, “Why have you robbed Me? You haven’t paid your taxes.”
Tithes are taxes. It’s a law.
This funny religion we’ve got now.
People tell you, “Send them money.”
Listen to me.
Make sure you take care of your local house first.
You pay your taxes to your local assembly, right? That’s an embassy of the government, and your job is to pay local taxes to take care of maintenance of the country, that there’ll be meat in the house.
Then you take offerings and invest them in different things.
You break the law and ask Elohim to bless you.
Even America wouldn’t do that.
Law-abiding citizens.
That’s why all last year I taught on law. I tried to bring it back into the church because the church is so full of grace, it is lawless.
I’m talking from the bishops all the way down to the usher, living in sin.
I have to keep my life clean to protect my access.
Don’t you get it?
The next time somebody asks you to sin with them, your answer should be, “I can’t break my access.”
Let me close with this, because you can’t take it anymore.
Turn to Mattithyahu chapter 6 in your Bible.
Hallelujah.
Mattithyahu chapter 6.
Everybody say, “Obedience.”
This is very important.
Do you know why you stop at a red light?
I must come back and teach some more of this because the church is a mess.
We stop at red lights in your secular country and don’t stop at red lights in Elohim’s country.
First the Ruach Ha’Qodesh puts a caution light up.
Don’t go with your ex-husband.
You can’t sleep with this man. He’s not your husband.
Just a caution light.
Don’t go to this appointment with him. Caution light.
And then on your way there He puts the red light up.
Please stop.
And you keep going.
And you sit with someone in a hotel room you’re not married to, and Elohim says, “Heaven has shut down on you.”
We stop at red lights.
You know what’s amazing about law? The law never makes you keep it. Red lights have never stopped the car yet.
Fix your life this year.
Fix it from this conference, this meeting.
Get your life sorted out.
Cut off bad relationships.
Cancel habits.
Shut down stupid sites on pornography.
Shut out people who can’t go with you to the next level.
Leave some family.
Get away from things.
You better get your life sorted out.
You want Elohim to bless you? Line up with the law.
Be a law-abiding citizen, and you’ll never have to look over your shoulder to see if a cop is coming.
Do what Elohim says, and you can sleep at night.
Can your wife answer your phone every time, sir? That’s the question.
Can your husband answer your telephone in your absence?
Are you breaking the law?
When you stop at a red light, it is called in the Bible — write this way down — righteousness.
Righteousness. Write it down.
R-I-G-H-T. You see it in there? It has to do it right.
Righteousness means alignment with law and authority.
Righteousness means what? Alignment with law and authority.
Write it down.
Secondly, righteousness means right positioning with authority and law.
Right positioning with authority and law.
That’s called right positioning.
It’s called righteousness.
Right standing.
Standing in the right place is righteousness.
It has to be lined up with authority.
In other words, keeping laws and standards in order to remain in right relationship with something — the government.
That’s why you stop at the red light. You want to remain in the right relationship with that cop on the side there.
Once you line up with the law from the red light, then the cop can’t touch you. He actually protects you. He becomes your protector.
That’s righteousness.
So the most important word in a kingdom is the word obedience.
The government takes care of a citizen in a kingdom — opposite to democracy. Opposite.
In democracy you take care of yourself. In a kingdom the government takes care of you.
That’s why Mashiach says, “Do not worry what you will eat, what you will drink.”
He said, “Don’t do that. You just seek to get into My Kingdom, and these things are added.”
But what you didn’t read is the other part. Two things He said you must do to get everything to be added to you.
Two things. You’ve got to do both of them.
He says, “Seek first the Kingdom of Elohim.” That’s the part you like.
He says, “But also His righteousness.”
Stay lined up with the law.
Be a law-abiding citizen.
And then He says do those two things for the rest of your life. That’s all.
And everything you need, the government is given to you.
So let me repeat it slowly again.
Seek first the Kingdom. The conjunction and is important, which means you’ve got to do the same thing with what I’m going to say next.
You seek righteousness. Don’t just seek to get into the Kingdom, the country, but seek to remain. Look for, try, work hard to be always in right standing. Seek it.
Do you seek to stop at the red light? You do the same thing for righteousness as you do for the Kingdom. You pursue it.
And then you can quote these kind of promises:
“I have never seen the righteous forsaken.”
See, a lot of you all are being forsaken by Elohim because you’re not lining up.
It’s like a criminal demanding that the government buy him a car.
The church is full of those people. Criminals at the altar asking Elohim to pay their mortgage, and Elohim is like, “You are a criminal.”
Don’t you get it?
You are a criminal. You are locked up. Heaven has shut down on you.
Some people say to me, “Pastor Miles, law is bondage.”
Okay.
Open your Bibles to Mattithyahu chapter 5.
Take a deep breath please.
Yahusha knew that you would be here thinking that kind of foolishness.
He knew you would think and even be taught by theologians, by your church pastors, that law is finished.
So let’s read His words.
Ready?
He says, chapter 5, verse 17:
“Do not think.”
What a way to start.
Do not think that I have come to abolish the law.
Why? Because that’s what you’re going to think.
He says, “I’m going to cut you off at the pass. I’m going to save your theology now. I come to bring grace, but not to cancel law. The law I came to cancel is ritual law, not divine laws of Elohim.”
It gets worse.
“Do not think that I have come to destroy the law or the prophets who spoke them. I have come not to abolish them but to actually enforce them.”
Fulfill means, in the Hebraic sense, to put the spirit back in them.
You know the difference between the term written law and the spirit of the law.
Yahusha said, “I’m a lawyer. I came back to earth to get My city back in order, My colony back in order, My country back in order. I didn’t come to destroy law. I came to make sure you kept it.”
You don’t believe me? Watch the next verse.
It gets worse.
He says, “I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth pass away, not one single comma or dot or tittle of the law will by any means disappear from the law until everything is back in order.”
Verse 19.
“Anyone, anyone, anyone” — this is New Testament, Yahusha speaking — “anyone who breaks the least of My laws and teaches others to do them is called least in My country, in the Kingdom of Elohim.”
It gets worse.
“But if anyone keeps these laws and does what Dr. Monroe is doing today, teaching others to keep them, they shall be called great in the Kingdom of Elohim.”
I’m a great man.
And then He closes it.
He says, “By the way, unless your righteousness” — that means unless your lining up with the law — “is greater than those religious people lighting candles, you cannot enter kingdom lifestyle.”
I rest my case.
