SEARCHING FOR THE TREASURES OF WISDOM — A CLUE!

Mishlei (Proverbs) chapter 2

Today we are walking in: SEARCHING FOR THE TREASURES OF WISDOM — A CLUE!

Mishlei (Proverbs) 2:4–6

If you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hid treasures; Then shall you understand the fear of YAHUAH, and find the knowledge of ELOHIYM. For YAHUAH gives wisdom: out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

WISDOM

Today we look to the word—WISDOM—H2451—chokmah—wisdom (in a good sense).

The Torah Testifies……….

Shemoth (Exodus) 31:3

And I have filled him with the RUACH ELOHIYM, in wisdom H2451, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.

Devariym (Deuteronomy) 4:6

Guard therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom H2451 and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

Devariym (Deuteronomy) 34:9

And Yahusha the son of Nun was full of the RUACH of wisdom H2451; for Mosheh had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Yashar’el hearkened unto him, and did as YAHUAH commanded Mosheh.

The Prophets Proclaim………

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 11:2

And the RUACH YAHUAH shall rest upon him, the RUACH of wisdom H2451 and understanding, the RUACH of counsel and might, the RUACH of knowledge and of the fear of YAHUAH.

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 33:6

And wisdom H2451 and knowledge shall be the stability of your times, and strength of yeshu`ah: the fear of YAHUAH is his treasure.

Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 9:23–24

Thus says YAHUAH, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom H2451, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glories glory in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am YAHUAH which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, says YAHUAH.

The Writings Witness………

Mishlei (Proverbs) 3:13–15

Happy is the man that finds wisdom H2451, and the man that gets understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things you can desire are not to be compared unto her.

Iyov (Job) 28:28

And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of YAHUAH, that is wisdom H2451; and to depart from evil is understanding.

Mishlei (Proverbs) 4:7

Wisdom H2451 is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all your getting get understanding.

When we think of a treasure, we think of something that is extremely valuable and precious. Most of the really valuable, costly treasures are discovered only by diligently searching, digging, and thoroughly investigating.

Some people have a passion for searching for hidden treasures. These people spend lots of time and energy searching for treasures. I think YAHUAH ELOHIYM considers such people as having a “kingly/noble” nature. They are special and honourable as the Proverb tells us: The honour of kings is to search out a matter. (Mishlei 25:2b)

YAHUAH ELOHIYM loves and honours those who are Seekers—those who “Search out a Matter!” And, as the Scriptures declare, wisdom is definitely a valuable treasure worth searching for: Wisdom is more precious than rubies! And all the things you can desire are not to be compared unto her! (Mishlei 3:15)

There is something profound about wisdom. Everyone seems to know instinctively that by wisdom, they will gain direction and proper solutions, thus avoiding problems and sorrows. The knowledge of wisdom has infinite benefits, plus it has a reward as sweet as honey (Mishlei 24:13–14; see also Mishlei 3 & 8).

YAHUAH wants us to have wisdom! (Mishlei 4:5–7) He tells us: GET Wisdom!! It is the Primary Thing! It is what we need for learning to grow up into a responsible person, being blessed with a hopeful and contented heart! However gaining the Treasures of Wisdom, which includes discernment, is not easy! These two very valuable qualities come only to those who are diligent “Seekers”! (Mishlei 3:21)

But — Here Is A Caution:

If we are to begin the honourable pursuit of searching for the Treasures of Wisdom, I believe we need to search where there is a genuine, unselfish love and concern for us. The wisdom that comes from someone who truly loves us will influence us with “good understanding”! (Mishlei 3:1–4) Someone who truly loves us will give us advice that is truthful and leads to a meaningful life—a life that is honest, respectable, and virtuous. Someone who truly loves us will want what is best for us so that things will Be Well with us!

But, if we allow someone who does not genuinely love us to influence us, then we are not being wise. It is foolish to be influenced by someone who is selfish, sneaky, and is not being honest with us. There are many people who want to influence us. They want our attention but, their influence is for selfish purposes only. Such self-serving people want to gain an advantage over us, want to manipulate us for their own benefit. But their influence and their so-called “wisdom” results in our detriment! These sort of people do not have our best interests as their motive. They may appear knowledgeable and valid, even truthful, but their selfishness, their twisted manipulation, is evidence of their lack of honest love and care for us. Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding! (Mishlei 9:6)

The Clue

So an important clue in our search for the Treasures of Wisdom must include finding wisdom from someone who truly loves us, someone who wants what is good and best for us! This is The Clue! We should search for the kind of wisdom that is founded in honest, unselfish love—the kind of wisdom that will support us, edify us, and be a true blessing for us, both in this life and in the life beyond the grave. And surely, if we are sensible, we would want this kind of wisdom!

Which brings me to my point:—There is One Person we can trust who truly loves us and will give us honest, good advice, imparting sound wisdom unto us! (See Mishlei 3:13–26) That One person is YAHUAH ELOHIYM of the Scriptures, the Creator of you and me. This Clue to searching for wisdom is a conviction I have learned over the years of walking with YAHUAH.

It takes time to learn who truly wants what is best for us! Thankfully, in my life, there have been people who have influenced me and offered good and sound wisdom because they honestly loved YAHUAH and based their counsel on YAHUAH’S WORD. But sadly, it has been my experience that some people I trusted to influence me resulted in sorrow and harm unto me. Maybe that was not their intention, perhaps they were ignorant of their selfishness. But because of my LACK of wisdom and discernment, I allowed such people to influence me. And then, on hindsight it was obvious to me that they did not truly love me.

Hence I summarize with saying that YAHUAH, the Almighty Creator, truly and definitely loves each one of us and He wants things to Be Well and Go Well with us! He wants what is best for us! And—He wants us to find the wisdom that will help us, guard us, support us, and lead us in the way of righteousness (Mishlei 12:28)!

What Is Wisdom?

Thanks to the free computer software Scripture Study program e-Sword, we can find several verses in the Scriptures that declare YAHUAH’S everlasting LOVE for us. And, there are at least 12 times YAHUAH ELOHIYM tells us emphatically how to have things BE WELL and GO WELL with us! (References below.)

As we saw in Wisdom’s Call, there are many more details about the Treasures of Wisdom!! So upon “searching”, it becomes clear that YAHUAH WANTS us to GET Wisdom! Therefore we should take to heart, and seriously consider two particular passages where YAHUAH tells us specifically What Wisdom Is! All the other Scriptures about wisdom confirm these verses:

What Is Wisdom?

Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as YAHUAH ELOHAI commanded me, that you should DO so in the land whither you go to possess it. GUARD therefore and DO them; because This Is Your Wisdom! and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. (Devariym 4:5–6)

And unto man he said, Behold, the Fear of YAHUAH, That Is Wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. (Iyov 28:28)

If we believe in the eternal wisdom and authority of YAHUAH’S written WORD, and if we believe that YAHUAH does not change and that His Word is eternally true from the beginning (Tehilliym 119:160), then we will LOVE the truth of What Wisdom IS, just as YAHUAH plainly tells us what it is!

An Honorable and Noble Seeker

As we search for the Treasures of Wisdom, keep in mind these three extra CLUES that will be very helpful:
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of ELOHIYM, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him. (Ya`aqov 1:5)
The Fear of YAHUAH is The Beginning of Wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy is understanding. (Mishlei 9:10; see also Mishlei 1:7)
ALL the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden IN our Savior, YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH. (Qolasiym 2:1–3) [This is the most important clue of all—to receive YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH as our Savior!]

And so Dear Reader, become a Seeker of the Treasures of Wisdom because it is an honorable and noble search! YAHUAH loves those who SEEK—those who “Search out a Matter!” May it be that the Wisdom from YAHUAH’S Loving Words [the Scriptures] will be our ultimate influence because YAHUAH’S Wisdom is positively good for us and a treasure worth searching for!!

“The Scriptures are no lazy man’s book! Much of its treasure, like the valuable minerals stored in the bowels of the earth, only yield up themselves to the diligent seeker!” — Arthur W. Pink

—

“There are many things the knowledge of which does little or no good to the soul! He who concerns himself about things other than those things which lead to salvation is very unwise! (See Timotheus Sheniy 3:15)” — Thomas à Kempis

—

“YAHUAH’S truth and wisdom is not obtained cheaply. It demands much time given to prayer and study of the Scriptures, followed by practical application in our daily lives. Searching for YAHUAH’S truth must take priority over the many forms of cheap entertainment offered by our secular culture. Searching for YAHUAH’S truth is a lifetime commitment.” — Derek Prince

THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS - YOM TERUAH

VAYIQRA (LEVITICUS) 23:23–25

Today we are walking in: THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS | YOM TERUAH

TERUAH- H8643

THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS IS LIKE A LOUD SHOUT COMING FROM HEAVEN

The Feast of Trumpets on the Almighty’s calendar is the appointed season for us to come prayerfully before His holy presence with a “humble repentant heart that trembles at His Word” (see Yesha’yahu 66:2). The RUACH HA’QODESH, the RUACH of Truth, is getting our attention, sounding like a loud shofar blast, alerting us to take our focus off this perishing world and place it upon YAHUAH ELOHIYM who requires loving obedience to His Word and Commandments.

“The Feast of Trumpets points to the conclusion of the age. During this season there is a heightened awareness and urgency for the need of repentance.”

The three concluding biblical Holy Days beginning with the Feast of Trumpets point to the conclusion of the age. During this season there is a heightened awareness and urgency for the need of repentance. Prophecy is quickly being fulfilled; we are witnessing the rapid succession of diverse judgments. Scripture tells us that this end-time scenario will become more fierce, dramatic, and perilous as these judgments continue as “birth pains,” coming closer and closer, faster and faster together, as we approach the end of this present world, as we know it (Mattithyahu 24:8).

YAHUSHA said, “But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near … Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of A’dam” (Luqas 21:28, 36).

Our ELOHIYM and Savior’s voice is like a “loud heavenly trumpet,” a shofar blast urgently getting the attention of “those who have ears to hear what the RUACH is saying” in these last hours (Chazon 1:10; 2:7–3:22). The Almighty commissions His prophets and obedient servants, “Cry aloud, spare not; lift up your voice like a shofar, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Ya`aqov their sins!” (Yesha’yahu 58:1).

The Feast of Trumpets is as a loud shofar and shout from heaven beseeching the listening heart to, “Repent and turn from all disobedience and sin to escape the coming judgments.” The shofar is waking us up and calling us upward. It is high time to wholeheartedly turn to the holy ELOHIYM and Redeemer who says, “Be ye holy; for I am holy,” and “without holiness no man shall see YAHUAH” (Kepha Ri’shon 1:16; Ivriym 12:14).

It’s midnight, time is running out! We must “work out our salvation with fear and trembling,” “making every effort to be found at peace with Him without spot or blemish,” with our sins repented for and covered in our Savior’s atoning blood. “How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?” It is divinely decreed that “we must all appear before the judgment seat of MASHIACH, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.”

“Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, YAHUAH is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through YAHUSHA whom He has appointed…” (Philippiym 2:12; Kepha Sheniy 3:14; Ivriym 2:3; Qorintiym Sheniy 5:10; Ma’asiym 17:30–31).

“Don’t go back to sin and don’t look back to the world, both are under judgment. ‘Come out of her, My people!’” — Chazon 18:4

In the book of Chazon, the Apostle Yahuchanon heard our Savior’s voice that “sounded like a trumpet,” a shofar, proclaiming, “Come up hither, and I will show you things which must be hereafter” (Chazon 1:10; 4:1). We are seeing these prophesied judgments beginning to fall, magnifying the reality that the conclusion of the age is upon us.

In essence, our Savior is loudly expressing His urgent heart cry of passionate love for His redeemed remnant: “Repent and flee from your old sin nature and worldly desires. Don’t go back to sin and don’t look back to the world, both are under judgment. ‘Come out of her, My people,’ I don’t want you to share in the sins of the worldly” (Chazon 18:4).

Get your affections off this doomed world and wholeheartedly follow Me out of harm’s way. I redeemed you to be a holy people as “a bride who has made herself ready,” waiting for that last great shofar sound (Chazon 19:7).

As it is written, YAHUSHA Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the shofar of ELOHIYM, and the dead in MASHIACH will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet YAHUAH in the air, and so shall we ever be with YAHUAH (Tasloniqiym Ri’shon 4:16–17).

We are to have our ears pinned on the voice of our ELOHIYM and Savior who speaks to us through His Word and Commandments. The RUACH of Truth will lead us to obedience, “through the narrow gate … because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Mattithyahu 7:13–14).

At the end of the book of Chazon, YAHUSHA said, “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still” (Chazon 22:11).

Let us hear this shofar calling us to repent of the “sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto YAHUSHA, the author and finisher of our faith” (Ivriym 12:1–2). He alone will lead us victoriously out of this world and our sinful nature, into His glorious holy presence and eternal Kingdom.

“Thanks be unto ELOHIYM, which always causes us to triumph in MASHIACH,” over our flesh, sin, and the world (Qorintiym Sheniy 2:14).

TO HIM BE ALL PRAISE, HONOR, AND GLORY NOW AND FOREVER!

AWAKEN, YOU THAT ARE SLEEPING!!!!

Eph’siym (Ephesians) chapter 5

Today we are walking in: AWAKEN, YOU THAT ARE SLEEPING!

Eph’siym (Ephesians) 5:14

Wherefore he says, Awake you that sleep, and arise from the dead, and Mashiach shall give you light.

AWAKE

Today we look to the word—AWAKE—H3364—yaqats—to awake (intransitively).

The Torah Testifies……….

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 9:24

And Noach awoke H3364 from his wine, and knew את eth what his younger son had done unto him.

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 28:16

And Ya’aqov awoke H3364 out of his sleep, and he said, Surely YAHUAH is in this place; and I knew it not.

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 41:4

And the ill favoured and leanfleshed kine did eat up את eth the seven well favoured and fat kine. So Phar’oh awoke H3364.

The Prophets Proclaim………

Shophetiym (Judges) 16:14

And she fastened it with the pin, and said unto him, The Pelishtiym be upon you, Shimshon. And he awoke H3364 out of his sleep, and went away with the pin of the beam, and with the web.

Melekiym Ri’shon (1 Kings) 3:15

And Shalomah awoke H3364; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Yerushalayim, and stood before the Ark of the Covenant of YAHUAH, and offered up ascending smoke offerings, and offered peace offerings, and made a feast to all his servants.

Chabaqquq (Habakkuk) 2:7

Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite you, and awake H3364 that shall vex you, and you shall be for booties unto them?

The Writings Witness………

Tehilliym (Psalms) 7:6

Arise, O YAHUAH, in your anger, lift up yourself because of the rage of my enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that you have commanded.

Tehilliym (Psalms) 57:8

Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

Tehilliym (Psalms) 78:65

Then YAHUAH awoke H3364 as one out of sleep, and like a mighty man that shouts by reason of wine.

Scripture has a message to those who are asleep: Wake up!

The Scriptures show us the symptoms of those who are awake, and of those still sleeping. It is in this manner that Scripture reveals what it means to “awaken” from sleep.

A brief look in Scripture shows certain truths of sleep, and of awakening from sleep. Here are a few basic Scripture principles of awakening from sleep.

Some Basic Awakening Principles for Us Today

“And Ya’aqov awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely YAHUAH is in this place; and I knew it not.” (Bereshiyth 28:16)

Here we see that while Ya’aqov was asleep, he had no awareness of the presence of YAHUAH. After he awakened from sleep, however, he was aware of the presence of YAHUAH.

This process happens likewise to us today when we awaken! We gain an awareness of His presence, and we begin to desire to walk in obedience to Him, wherever that may take us. Here is another:

“And she fastened it with the pin, and said unto him, The Pelishtiym be upon you, Shimshon. And he awaked out of his sleep, and went away with the pin of the beam, and with the web.” (Shophetiym 16:14)

Above, we see Shimshon gained strength when he awakened from his sleep. This pictures our spiritual strengthening when we awaken from our spiritual slumber. We become stronger in the Faith, and lose the fear of what others think of our walk with YAHUAH. Here is another:

“And YAHUAH ELOHIYM caused a deep sleep to fall upon A’dam, and he slept: and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof.” (Bereshiyth 2:21)

“So David took the spear and the cruse of water from Sha’ul’s bolster; and they got them away, and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither awaked: for they were all asleep; because a deep sleep from YAHUAH was fallen upon them.” (Shemu’el Ri’shon 26:12)

Here we see that YAHUAH puts a deep sleep on men, in order to accomplish His purposes. This is widespread today in the Body of Mashiach, as Mashiach is now removing from the sleeping Body those that will be fashioned into His Bride. Here is another:

“Slothfulness casts into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.” (Mishlei 19:15)

Here we see the principle that slothfulness in spiritual matters results in a deep sleep, the same as in natural matters. No Bridegroom would have a Bride who is well-trained in slothfulness. Here is another:

“Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink. For YAHUAH has poured out upon you the ruach of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers has He covered. And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a cepher that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray you: and he says, I cannot; for it is sealed: And the cepher is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray you: and he says, I am not learned. Wherefore YAHUAH said, Forasmuch as this people draw near Me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour Me, but have removed their heart far from Me, and their fear toward Me is taught by the precept of men.” (Yeshayahu 29:9-13)

Above, we see that YAHUAH puts a deep sleep even on His own people, preventing them from understanding His Word—when their actions of loving Him do not agree with their words. Because their obedience to Scripture is mixed with precepts and Doctrines of Men, they have received a “counterfeit” Faith in YAHUSHA, and not the true Renewed Covenant of Promise.

Be advised—the above condition persists within the vast majority of YAHUAH’s people today! Here is another:

“All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest. His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.” (Yeshayahu 56:9-10)

Above, we see that many of YAHUAH’s watchman-shepherds are walking in disobedience, so He has closed their eyes. They are asleep, and so the wolf is devouring the flock.

This condition forces the sheep to read Scriptures on their own, lest the Blind Leaders continue to lead them away from the true faith. Here is another:

“Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house comes, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.” (Marqus 13:35-36)

In Marqus 13 above, and in other passages, we are instructed to watch, and not be found sleeping, but prepared, when the Master returns. We must not only watch in the sense of looking for the signs in the heavens, but watch in the sense of the Hebrew words, meaning keeping, guarding, performing, or celebrating. Here is another:

“But Kepha and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw His glory, and the two men that stood with Him.” (Luqas 9:32)

Here we see the principle that when men awaken from slumber, YAHUAH opens their eyes. It is only then that men begin to see His Glory! Here is another:

“These things said He: and after that He says unto them, Our friend El’azar sleeps; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.” (Yochanon 11:11)

Above, we see that awakening El’azar from sleep is pictured as resurrection from death, and is the example for us today, to walk in Resurrection-Life. As we allow the crucifixion and death of self to work in us, we also allow the resurrection life of Mashiach to grow within us, bit-by-bit. Here is another:

“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” (Romaiym 13:11)

The apostle Sha’ul is calling us to awaken from sleep, to prepare for the soon-to-arrive goal of our Salvation—the person of YAHUSHA. This preparation is seen, within context, as: ceasing our works of darkness [works of unrighteousness]; and then learning to do works of light [works of righteousness (Yeshayahu 26:9-10)].

In the above Romaiym passage, our lack of preparation is likened to sleep, and likened to the lack of producing the proper fruit. In the following passage in Eph’siym, however, notice what we see:

“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever does make manifest is light. Wherefore he says, Awake you that sleep, and arise from the dead, and Mashiach shall give you light.” (Eph’siym 5:11-14)

In the above passage, we see the beginning of our preparation as awakening from sleep, in order to produce the proper fruit, and to produce the light—the works of Righteousness that He enables us to produce, only by His Grace, by His living within us.

Here, we see again that Sha’ul calls us to awaken, to produce the fruit, the works of Righteousness, as do the wise. We are to awaken from our “sleep”—from our history of producing the fruit of unrighteousness [darkness], as the foolish ones do, as seen in Eph’siym 5:3-8.

We are then reminded that it is Mashiach Himself who is the source of all our works of Righteousness, or Light—the works of obedience to Torah which He accomplishes by us, by the Grace He supplies to us, from His living within us.

Scriptures Reveal How One May Be Awakened

Here are some Scriptures to show exactly how we may awaken from sleep, and some results seen by those who awaken, and by those who remain asleep:

“My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not the Torah of your mother … When you go, it shall lead you; when you sleep, it shall keep you; and when you awake, it shall talk with you.” (Mishlei 6:20, 22)

Here we see that while we are sleeping, the Torah will guard and preserve us, where we are, even when unaware of Torah; but when we awaken, the Torah will “speak” to us. Here is another:

“He that gathers in summer is a wise son: but he that sleeps in harvest is a son that causes shame.” (Mishlei 10:5)

Above, we see that a son who sleeps during harvest is not wise, but foolish. The harvest is now underway! Here is another:

“Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of Elohiym: I speak this to your shame.” (Qorintiym Ri’shon 15:34)

“Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the Torah: for sin is the transgression of the Torah.” (Yochanon Ri’shon 3:4)

Here, we see the basic definition of sleep is to walk in sin, which is transgression of the Torah; and to awaken is to “awake to righteousness,” which Yochanon tells us means to “sin not,” which in turn means “stop transgressing [disobeying] YAHUAH’s Torah.”

We are to awaken—which is to awaken to Righteousness, to the “doing” of Righteousness. There is no other option seen in Scripture, but to remain asleep. The choice is ours—we are to choose this day whom we will serve.

Who Has Been Asleep?

The entire body of the “Last” A’dam [the entire Body of Mashiach—all of His people] have been put to sleep by YAHUAH Himself, because of our disobedience.

As seen in the Yeshayahu passages above, we today are included among YAHUAH’s people. But we have all been doing works of unrighteousness—of sin—of transgressing the Torah. We have been asleep, as it were, and have not been walking in Resurrection-Life, the walk of doing works of Righteousness, of obedience to Torah.

Who Is Being Awakened?

The heart of the Bride is now being awakened. She too has been asleep, within the body of the Last A’dam, but she begins to stir as she listens to Torah, and begins to be a “DO-er” of every word that proceeds out of the mouth of YAHUAH (Shiyr HaShiriym 5:2; Luqas 4:4; Devariym 8:3).

She must then come out from among them, from all who would hold her back from the Bridegroom. The Bridegroom is drawing His Bride, and the multitude that make up His Bride has the desire, and the will, to follow Him (Shiyr HaShiriym 1:4).

We are now being called to listen to the words of Torah now speaking to us. We are now being called to be do-ers of Torah—to leave off works of darkness, and become DO-ers of works of Righteousness. Mashiach YAHUSHA is our Righteousness, and He likewise desires to produce His works of Righteousness in us, if we would but allow Him.

Many, however, as seen in the Yeshayahu passages above, have been given a tainted Faith, and a counterfeit “Renewed Covenant.” It is these who will remain asleep.

Nevertheless, the call is going forth for all to hear, and to heed:

Awaken, You that are Sleeping!

THE RUACH HA’QODESH WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH

The RUACH HA’QODESH is the Biblical name for the presence of the Living ELOHIYM, the Maker of heaven and earth, YAHUAH ELOHIYM.

In the Besorah of Yahuchanon, chapter 15:26, and then in Yahuchanon 16:13–14, YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH told us at least seven things about the RUACH HA’QODESH:

“When the Comforter, the RUACH HA’QODESH, is come, whom I, MASHIACH, will send unto you, MASHIACH’S Talmidiym, from the Father, YAHUAH, even the RUACH EMETH, the RUACH HA’QODESH, which proceeds from the Father, YAHUAH, he, the RUACH HA’QODESH, shall testify of me, YAHUSHA.” (Yahuchanon 15:26)

“Howbeit when he, the RUACH EMETH, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but את whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.” (Yahuchanon 16:13–14)

The RUACH HA’QODESH is the Comforter. The RUACH HA’QODESH is the RUACH EMETH. The RUACH HA’QODESH is the RUACH of YAHUAH ELOHIYM, the heavenly Father. The RUACH HA’QODESH is sent to the children of YAHUAH. The RUACH HA’QODESH will guide YAHUAH’S children into all truth. The RUACH HA’QODESH is sent to us by YAHUAH’S Son, YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH. The RUACH HA’QODESH will always glorify YAHUAH’S Son, the MASHIACH.

The important thing from the above list is Number 4—the RUACH HA’QODESH is for those who, with a sincere and repentant heart, have become one of YAHUAH’S children by adoption and have been birthed into YAHUAH’S family. This is known as being Born-Again, also known as the New Birth. Sometimes referred to as Regeneration (see Yahuchanon 3:3–8; Yahuchanon 14:17; Qorintiym Ri’shon 2:14).

If you are not sure if you are Born-Again, please see the article: Good News!

THE RUACH HA’QODESH’S MISSION

The RUACH HA’QODESH’S mission is two-fold: He will guide YAHUAH’S children into all truth (Yahuchanon 16:13), and He will glorify YAHUAH’S Son, YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH.

Since the RUACH HA’QODESH’S mission is to lead us into all truth, then He will always guide us according to, and in agreement with, the WORD of YAHUAH, the Scriptures! MASHIACH, as well as YAHUAH’S other prophets, confirmed to us where to find The Truth:

YAHUSHA said, “O Father,… Sanctify them through Your truth: Your Word is Truth.” (Yahuchanon 17:17)

“Righteous are You, O YAHUAH, and upright are Your judgments. Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your Torah is the Truth.” (Tehilliym 119:137, 142)

“You are near, O YAHUAH, and all Your Commandments are Truth.” (Tehilliym 119:151)

We must always remember this about the RUACH HA’QODESH:

The RUACH HA’QODESH’S Guidance Will Always Be In Agreement With YAHUAH’S Word because YAHUAH’S Word is Truth!

The RUACH HA’QODESH’S mission is to also reveal and confirm the testimony of YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH and to glorify the MASHIACH! This is a very important principle in recognizing the RUACH HA’QODESH’S guidance!

The RUACH HA’QODESH does not promote Himself, or anyone else. The RUACH HA’QODESH seeks to glorify only the Son of YAHUAH, the MASHIACH.

Any guidance that does not glorify the truth and purposes of YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH is NOT guidance from the RUACH HA’QODESH!

A MAP & A GUIDE

In the pilgrimage of life, YAHUAH gives us a “Map”—the written Scriptures, the Word of YAHUAH! The Scriptures reveal the Eternal Truth of who YAHUAH is, what His ways and plans are! It is very important that we learn YAHUAH’S Word for ourselves. If we want to gain wisdom, understanding, discernment, and guidance, then we must always look to the Scriptures—our Map!

YAHUAH ELOHIYM also gives us a “Guide”—the RUACH HA’QODESH! The RUACH HA’QODESH is our Comforter and our Personal Guide.

First, as our Comforter, our Helper, there are countless times, every day, when the RUACH HA’QODESH helps us! He helps us in our weaknesses, our frailties, our confusion (Romaiym 8:26). Usually we do not recognize half of His enablements, yet when we do have eyes to see the RUACH HA’QODESH’S help and intervention, it is remarkable!

As we saw in Our Amazing Comforter, the infinite, all-seeing RUACH HA’QODESH, is the “eye of YAHUAH” who searches throughout the whole earth, looking for those who love YAHUAH, in order to show Himself strong on their behalf (Divrei Hayamiym Sheniy 16:9a; Romaiym 8:27)!

This showing Himself strong on our behalf is indeed a comforting work! It reveals that YAHUAH knows our situation, our needs, He hears our cry, and answers us in our distress!

Second, the RUACH HA’QODESH as our Guide, is sent to help us stay in YAHUAH’S Pathway of Truth. Because YAHUAH loves us, He wants us to know His Pathway! He does not want us to stray! Therefore, He gives us a Guide: the RUACH HA’QODESH, the Author of the Scriptures, who will bring YAHUAH’S Word to our remembrance to show us the Way wherein we should go!

The RUACH HA’QODESH’S job is to be our Guide/Assistant in helping us understand the “Map” (Qorintiym Ri’shon 2:9–10).

THE RUACH OF ELOHIYM

Let us also remember that when we receive the gift of the RUACH HA’QODESH, we are receiving the person of YAHUAH ELOHIYM, the Holy One of Yashar’el:

“Now we have received, not the ruach of the world, but we have received the RUACH which is of ELOHIYM.” (Qorintiym Ri’shon 2:12)

“For as many as are led by the RUACH ELOHIYM, they are the sons of ELOHIYM.” (Romaiym 8:14)

The RUACH ELOHIYM, the RUACH HA’QODESH, is YAHUAH Himself! This is amazing!! The RUACH of the living ELOHIYM dwelling within us to guide us and lead us—if we will ask Him: “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the RUACH HA’QODESH to them that ask him?” (Luqas 11:13)

YAHUAH is very willing to give us this personal Guide, His RUACH HA’QODESH, to those who ask Him! What great love!!

If you are not sure if you have received the RUACH HA’QODESH, please see Have You Received the RUACH HA’QODESH Since You Believed? Part One.

Now, let’s learn to recognize the RUACH HA’QODESH’S guidance.

LOVE YAHUAH’S TRUTH

Since the RUACH HA’QODESH is the RUACH EMETH, and He wants to guide us into all truth, then we must cultivate a LOVE for the truth!

If we want the RUACH HA’QODESH’S guidance, then we need a deep, gut-level conviction to love the truth!! As we saw in A Way That Seems Right, loving the truth means a loyal, firm conviction to finding the truth no matter the cost, no matter the pain.

If we purpose to love the truth, then that means we will love and obey what we read in the Word of YAHUAH. And, loving the truth means we will love our Savior, the MASHIACH, YAHUSHA.

Loving YAHUAH’S truth means we will learn YAHUAH’S Word for ourselves because the Word of YAHUAH, the Scriptures, is the “Map” for our journey. The RUACH HA’QODESH’S mission is to guide us according to the “Map”—YAHUAH’S Word.

Loving YAHUAH’S truth means we will always look to the Scriptures for understanding, guidance, and will consistently seek to obey the guidance of YAHUAH’S WORD!

And, remember: the RUACH HA’QODESH’S guidance will always be according to and in agreement with YAHUAH’S written WORD! (Tehilliym 119:169)! This is how we begin to learn to know the guidance of the RUACH HA’QODESH.

At times, we will need to establish the RUACH HA’QODESH’S guidance through the principle of two or three witnesses (see Devariym 19:15b), which will always be in agreement with the Scriptures. Witnesses being two or more Scriptures, and the providential witness of our circumstances.

LOVING YAHUAH’S WORD IS LOVING THE TRUTH!

King David declared the truth of YAHUAH’S Word many times:

“Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your Torah is the Truth.” (Tehilliym 119:142)

“You are near, O YAHUAH; and all Your Commandments are Truth.” (Tehilliym 119:151)

“Your Word is True from the beginning: and every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.” (Tehilliym 119:160)

As these verses teach, Loving The Truth IS to Love YAHUAH’S Word. This is a foundational key to avoiding delusion! As we saw in Thy Torah Is My Delight, King David loved YAHUAH’S Word with a passion! Which is why he could say: “I have chosen the way of truth” (Tehilliym 119:30a).

Our conviction must be fixed throughout our entire lifetime—that the Word of YAHUAH is faithful, true, unchanging, and endures forever!

YAHUAH’S truth does not change from one age to another! His Word is always true, never becoming out-of-date or invalid! We need to guard against any teachings of YAHUAH’S Word that undermine or weaken the unchanging nature of His Word!

We can trust the Word of the Mighty ELOHIYM of Yashar’el, because He is YAHUAH ELOHIYM of truth! His truth endures throughout all generations! His Word IS as He IS: “For I am YAHUAH, I change not” (Mal’akiy 3:6)!

LOVING YAHUAH’S Word, which is truth, is an essential, first step to knowing the guidance of the RUACH EMETH! Loving YAHUAH’S truth means we will maintain our relationship with YAHUAH by our prayer times, asking His help to love His truth and love MASHIACH. This is how we learn, little by little, to mature and be discerning to know the guidance of the RUACH HA’QODESH!

RECOGNIZING THE TRUTH ABOUT OURSELVES

When we love the truth, then we will learn to be honest to ourselves and about ourselves! We must love the truth to the point of recognizing who we are, what kind of person we are, and accepting our inadequacies, limitations and sinful nature.

The RUACH HA’QODESH knows everything about us—our successes, our strengths, our failures, pain, and weaknesses. And, He knows our sins. We cannot hide from the RUACH HA’QODESH!

So if we are to be guided by Him, then we need to learn to be honest and sensitive to the RUACH HA’QODESH’S nudges because He desires to cleanse us and purify us of selfishness, pride, hatred, or delusion!

We learn to be honest with ourselves by accepting ourselves as the Word of YAHUAH describes us! This is a lifetime process. We must consciously work at being honest with ourselves, in recognizing the truth within ourselves. This is why we find such prayers as Tehilliym 19:12–13: “Who can understand his errors? Oh make me pure from secret faults; and keep Your servant back from presumptuous sins; do not let them rule over me; then I shall be upright and I shall be innocent of great transgression.”

SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN OUR HEART

Speaking the Truth in our heart is not easy because we have a tendency to deny what is true about ourselves. We have a tendency to tell ourselves things that make us feel good. If we do not love the truth, then we can be fooled by our own thoughts and estimations about ourselves.

King David knew the importance of embracing truth deep within himself. He acknowledged and admitted his shameful sin (Tehilliym 15:1–2; see all of Tehilliym 51). King David made the decision to be honest about his failures and not deny the terrible truth about what he had done.

Speaking the truth in our heart is a choice we make that helps us mature. If we love the truth of YAHUAH’S Word, then the RUACH HA’QODESH will help us cultivate the habit of speaking truth in the depths of our heart.

However, when we are confronted with truth about ourselves or any issue, the test of our Love for the Truth will come! We are tested in our love for the truth in our hidden, intimate thoughts—in our reasoning! “…for the righteous ELOHIYM tries, tests, the hearts and thoughts.” (Tehilliym 7:9b)

The question is—Will we reason ourselves away from the truth or toward the truth? What do our reasoning skills lean toward?

Do we side with the RUACH HA’QODESH who is seeking to guide us into all truth?

Do we hinder or do we help the RUACH HA’QODESH’S guidance for us?

TRUTH CAN BE VERY PAINFUL!

Truth can be painful because it can be a form of chastisement. Yet, if we will choose the Way of YAHUAH’S truth in our reasoning skills within ourselves—then that choice will yield the peaceable fruit of righteousness (Ivriym 12:11).

As we saw in No Discipline Seems Pleasant, the RUACH HA’QODESH is always working within us to bring us further into knowing YAHUAH’S love and guidance. Choosing truth will always bring us into a greater understanding of YAHUAH’S Word. Choosing the truth of YAHUAH’S Word will always be good for us, even if the choice seems difficult, painful, or humiliating.

Choosing to be truthful to ourselves will often be the pathway of humility and self-denial. But that is also the pathway of maturity and receiving YAHUAH’S enabling grace (see Tehilliym 138:6; Mishlei 3:34; Ya`aqov 4:6):

“The Way of YAHUAH is strength to the upright.” (Mishlei 10:29a)

Will we be faithful to love the truth of YAHUAH’S Word, as well as love the truth of what YAHUAH’S Word says about us?

It is the little, hidden things that we are tested on, things that often we ignore or reason away. Such things may seem little, but this is part of the ways of the RUACH HA’QODESH. He desires us to be sensitive to His leading and learn to speak the truth in our heart.

We need to have regular, secret prayer times, as well as study times of YAHUAH’S written Word—at least a little bit every day—throughout our lifetime, so that we maintain an openness to learning and obeying His ways! YAHUAH’S Word is the sharp, two-edged sword that helps us discern the truth about ourselves (Ivriym 4:12).

Speaking the truth in our heart is KEY to knowing the intimate, personal guidance of our loving, all-knowing Guide, the RUACH HA’QODESH.

LET US BE EXCEEDINGLY GRATEFUL FOR YAHUAH’S RUACH HA’QODESH!!

YAHUAH’S guidance for us by His RUACH HA’QODESH is grounded in His immense and extravagant LOVE for each one of us! Therefore let us be among those who choose to show honor to our loving heavenly Father, walking in the fear of YAHUAH, our loving Master!

Oh the great goodness of our heavenly Father!! To give His children so many wonderful gifts—the Gift of His precious WORD, our MAP, and the Gift of His precious RUACH HA’QODESH, our personal GUIDE—guiding us into all truth!

QUOTING SCRIPTURE WON’T MOVE HEAVEN—MEDITATE PART 8

Yahusha (Joshua) chapter 1

Today we are walking in: QUOTING SCRIPTURE WON’T MOVE HEAVEN—MEDITATE PART 8

Yahusha (Joshua) 1:8

This cepher of the Torah shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate H1897 therein day and night, that thou mayest guard to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make את eth-thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

MEDITATE

Today we look to the word—MEDITATE—H1897—hagah—to murmur, mutter, meditate, ponder, imagine, speak, study, or utter. It carries the understanding of repeatedly turning the Word over within the mind and upon the lips until what YAHUAH has spoken moves beyond information and begins governing thought, speech, decisions, and conduct.

The Torah Testifies……….

Devariym (Deuteronomy) 6:6-7

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Devariym (Deuteronomy) 11:18

Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.

The Prophets Proclaim………

Yahusha (Joshua) 1:8

This cepher of the Torah shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate H1897 therein day and night, that thou mayest guard to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make את eth-thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 26:3

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

The Writings Witness………

Tehilliym (Psalm) 1:1-2

Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the Torah of YAHUAH; and in his Torah does he meditate H1897 day and night.

Tehilliym (Psalm) 119:97

O how love I thy Torah! it is my meditation all the day.

Listen carefully, please. We have reached the place where revelation must become practice. Everything we have learned concerning meditation means very little if we leave this teaching impressed but unchanged. The goal was never simply to convince you that meditation is important. The goal is to establish a lifestyle in which the Word of YAHUAH becomes so deeply rooted within you that it governs the way you think, pray, respond, decide, speak, and live.

Write this down: Revelation must become application before it produces transformation.

We began this teaching by confronting a dangerous assumption: that merely quoting Scripture automatically means Scripture governs us. It does not. You can know the words and still resist their instruction. You can memorize the promise and ignore its context. You can repeat what Elohiym said while living according to fear, bitterness, pride, impatience, or unbelief.

That is why meditation matters.

Meditation slows you down long enough for the Word to confront you before you attempt to use the Word concerning somebody or something else. It asks whether the truth you are declaring has first been permitted to govern the person making the declaration.

This is where transformation begins.

FROM INFORMATION TO TRANSFORMATION

Say this with me:

“Information is not transformation.”

Again:

“Information is not transformation.”

You can collect information without ever surrendering to it. Transformation happens when truth changes something.

Your response changes.

Your thinking changes.

Your language changes.

Your habits change.

Your decisions change.

Your relationships change.

Your obedience changes.

That is the evidence that the Word is moving from information toward residency.

Write this down: The goal of meditation is not merely remembering the Word. The goal is becoming increasingly governed by the Word.

Yahusha 1:8 connects meditation with doing. YAHUAH told Yahusha to meditate day and night “that thou mayest guard to do according to all that is written therein.” Meditation and obedience were never intended to be separated.

If meditation never affects behavior, something is missing.

You do not meditate on forgiveness so you can give a powerful speech about forgiveness while continuing to hold the grudge.

You meditate until the Word challenges the grudge.

You do not meditate on peace while intentionally feeding your mind everything that produces fear.

You meditate until you begin guarding what enters your mind.

You do not meditate on wisdom and then continue making impulsive decisions without counsel, prayer, or thought.

You meditate until wisdom changes how you move.

Write this down: Agreement is proven by adjustment.

When I agree with YAHUAH, eventually something in me must adjust.

THE SEVEN-DAY MEDITATION CHALLENGE

Now we are going to practice what we have learned.

For the next seven days, I want you to establish a simple meditation discipline. This is not superstition. Seven days do not force Elohiym to perform something. This challenge is about training your attention, examining your thinking, strengthening consistency, and practicing what we have learned.

The purpose is transformation, not manipulation.

Write this down:

ONE PROMISE. ONE PASSAGE. ONE APPLICATION. ONE DAY AT A TIME.

Each day, choose one passage connected to an area where you need growth, wisdom, correction, encouragement, or greater understanding.

Do not choose twenty Scriptures because you are trying to impress yourself.

Slow down.

Take one.

Read the surrounding passage.

Understand what it actually says.

Identify what it reveals about Elohiym.

Identify what it reveals about you.

Identify any instruction, condition, warning, principle, or promise contained within it.

Then meditate.

DAY ONE — PEACE

Begin with Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 26:3:

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Do not simply repeat, “Perfect peace, perfect peace, perfect peace.”

Study what the passage connects with peace.

A stayed mind.

Trust.

Now ask yourself: What has my mind been staying on?

That question may expose the problem before you finish praying.

Perhaps your mind has been stayed on the worst possible outcome.

Perhaps your mind has been stayed on what somebody said.

Perhaps your mind has been stayed on the bill.

Perhaps your mind has been stayed on the diagnosis.

Perhaps your mind has been stayed on something you cannot control.

Meditation brings the mind back under truth.

Your application for Day One is simple: whenever your thoughts begin running outside the boundaries of what YAHUAH has spoken, deliberately return your attention to Him.

Write this down:

Peace is not merely something I request. I must also discipline where my mind remains.

DAY TWO — WISDOM

Meditate upon Ya’aqov (James) 1:5:

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of Elohiym, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not; and it shall be given him.”

Today, identify one area where you genuinely need wisdom.

Not ten.

One.

Perhaps it concerns your family, employment, finances, ministry, education, relationship, or an important decision.

Read the passage surrounding the verse. Notice the relationship between asking, faith, endurance, and instability of mind.

Then pray specifically.

Do not merely ask YAHUAH to “give me wisdom about everything.”

Name the matter.

Then create room to exercise wisdom.

Write this down: Do not ask for wisdom and then refuse to slow down long enough to use it.

Sometimes the answer to a prayer for wisdom will require you to stop, wait, research, listen, seek counsel, correct an assumption, or admit that you do not yet know enough to make the decision.

Wisdom must be practiced.

DAY THREE — PROVISION

Meditate upon Philippiym (Philippians) 4:19:

“But my Elohiym shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Mashiach Yahusha.”

Read the chapter.

Notice that this verse did not fall from heaven disconnected from everything around it. Pay attention to Paul’s discussion of contentment, generosity, partnership, receiving, giving, and learning to live faithfully through both abundance and need.

Then examine your own heart.

Are you asking for provision while living without stewardship?

Are you confusing a desire with a need?

Are you allowing fear to make financial decisions for you?

Are there adjustments within your control that wisdom requires?

Meditation does not merely make you shout louder about provision. It teaches you to think biblically about provision.

Write this down:

Trust YAHUAH as Provider while practicing faithful stewardship over what He has already placed in your hands.

DAY FOUR — HEALING AND MERCY

Meditate upon Tehilliym (Psalm) 103:2-3:

“Bless את eth-YAHUAH, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases.”

Today, notice the command David gives his own soul:

Forget not.

Meditation fights forgetfulness.

Fear makes you forget.

Pain can make you forget.

Long seasons can make you forget.

Disappointment can make you forget.

So David speaks to himself and deliberately remembers the goodness, mercy, forgiveness, compassion, and benefits of YAHUAH.

Today, build remembrance.

Remember what YAHUAH has already carried you through.

Remember prayers He has answered.

Remember doors He opened.

Remember correction that protected you.

Remember mercy you did not deserve.

Remember seasons you thought would destroy you but did not.

Write this down:

Meditation establishes remembrance where circumstances attempt to produce forgetfulness.

And where health concerns exist, seek appropriate care while continuing to entrust your life to YAHUAH. Faith and wise action do not need to be enemies.

DAY FIVE — FORGIVENESS

Today, meditate upon the teachings of Yahusha concerning forgiveness, particularly Marqus (Mark) 11:25:

“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any.”

Now this one may get uncomfortable.

Good.

The Word was never given merely to comfort us. It also corrects us.

Ask yourself whether you have been trying to cultivate confidence in prayer while secretly preserving an offense.

Meditation requires honesty.

Forgiveness does not mean pretending nothing happened. It does not require calling evil good. It does not always require restored access, immediate reconciliation, or the removal of wise boundaries.

But forgiveness does mean refusing to make bitterness your permanent residence.

Write this down:

I cannot ask the Word to become resident while intentionally giving bitterness permanent residency beside it.

Bring the wound before YAHUAH.

Tell Him the truth.

Release vengeance into His hands.

Ask for wisdom concerning boundaries.

Then refuse to keep feeding the offense through endless internal rehearsals.

That is application.

DAY SIX — OBEDIENCE

Return to Yahusha (Joshua) 1:8.

Read it again.

This time, emphasize:

“That thou mayest guard to DO according to all that is written therein.”

Today is about action.

Ask one question:

What has YAHUAH already shown me that I have not obeyed?

Do not search for another revelation while deliberately ignoring the last instruction.

Write this down:

Sometimes I do not need another Word. I need to obey the Word I already received.

If you need to apologize, apologize.

If you need to stop something, stop.

If you need to begin something, begin.

If you need to forgive, forgive.

If you need to establish discipline, establish it.

If you need to correct something you did wrong, correct it.

Meditation without obedience can become another form of spiritual procrastination.

The Word becomes resident when it receives governing authority.

DAY SEVEN — REMEMBRANCE AND THANKSGIVING

On Day Seven, meditate upon Tehilliym (Psalm) 77:11-12:

“I will remember the works of YAHUAH: surely I will remember your wonders of old. I will meditate also of all your work, and talk of your doings.”

Look back over the previous six days.

Do not immediately rush toward another problem.

Review.

What did YAHUAH expose?

What did He correct?

What did you understand differently?

Where did you experience greater peace?

Where did you catch a thought before it became a reaction?

Where did Scripture change a decision?

Where did you obey something you had previously avoided?

Where do you still need growth?

Then thank Him.

Write this down:

Thanksgiving teaches the soul to recognize the work of Elohiym while transformation is still unfolding.

You may not have seen every external circumstance change in seven days.

That is not the only measurement.

Perhaps you changed.

And sometimes that is the first miracle.

TRACK THREE THINGS: PEACE, CLARITY, AND OUTCOMES

During these seven days, track three things:

Peace. Clarity. Outcomes.

Peace asks: Is my inner response changing?

Clarity asks: Am I thinking and deciding more clearly because I am slowing down under the Word?

Outcomes ask: What tangible changes followed from applying what I learned?

Be careful with that third category.

Do not reduce Elohiym to a formula where you assume every meditation session must produce the external result you wanted. Scripture does not teach us to control Elohiym through technique.

Sometimes the outcome is an open door.

Sometimes the outcome is a closed door.

Sometimes the outcome is changed circumstances.

Sometimes the outcome is changed understanding.

Sometimes the outcome is strength to endure a circumstance that has not changed yet.

Sometimes the outcome is conviction that prevents you from making the wrong decision.

Sometimes the outcome is peace while you wait.

Write this down:

Transformation is an outcome too.

That matters.

YOUR CASE FILE OF FAITHFULNESS

I also want you to begin keeping a record of YAHUAH’s faithfulness.

Write down answered prayers.

Write down lessons learned.

Write down Scriptures that became especially meaningful during difficult seasons.

Write down moments when you knew wisdom protected you from making the wrong decision.

Write down provisions.

Write down restoration.

Write down correction.

Write down what YAHUAH taught you while you waited.

Why?

Because difficult seasons can produce spiritual amnesia.

When the next battle comes, your mind may tell you, “Nothing ever works out.”

Open the record.

That is not true.

Your emotions may tell you, “YAHUAH has never carried me through something like this.”

Open the record.

Look at the evidence of His faithfulness.

Tehilliym repeatedly demonstrates this pattern. The writers remember the works of YAHUAH because remembrance strengthens present confidence.

Write this down:

Yesterday’s faithfulness becomes testimony for today’s uncertainty.

NO MORE CEILING PRAYERS

Now return to the declaration we made at the beginning:

“No more ceiling prayers. The Word will live in me.”

Do you understand it differently now?

We are not saying that Elohiym literally cannot hear a prayer unless you complete a meditation technique. Neither are we saying that Elohiym is a reluctant Judge who must be forced to act because you discovered the correct legal terminology.

YAHUAH is Father.

He is King.

He is Judge.

He is merciful.

He knows what you need before you ask.

And Scripture teaches us to approach Him confidently while remaining surrendered to His will.

The purpose of meditation is not to manipulate Him.

Meditation transforms us.

It teaches us His character.

It corrects our desires.

It exposes wrong motives.

It deepens faith.

It strengthens obedience.

It helps us pray according to truth instead of merely according to emotion.

Write this down:

The greatest change meditation produces in prayer is not that I control heaven better. It is that the Word governs me more completely.

That distinction matters.

HE HAS THE POWER — WE WALK IN AGREEMENT

Throughout this teaching, we have said:

“He has the power. You have the permission.”

Now understand what that permission means.

It does not mean human beings become sovereign.

It does not mean every sentence we declare becomes reality merely because we spoke confidently.

It means YAHUAH has invited His people to pray, ask, seek, knock, intercede, trust, obey, resist evil, proclaim truth, and approach His throne boldly through Yahusha Ha’Mashiach.

Our confidence is not confidence in ourselves.

Our confidence is in Him.

Write this down:

Biblical authority never removes dependence upon YAHUAH. Biblical authority flows from dependence upon YAHUAH.

That keeps confidence from becoming arrogance.

We do not command Elohiym.

We submit to Elohiym.

We do not use His Word against Him.

We stand upon His Word because we trust Him.

We do not manipulate His promises.

We obey His instruction.

We do not declare ourselves sovereign over outcomes.

We remain confident that the Sovereign One is faithful.

That is mature authority.

THE FINAL REVIEW

Now let us bring the entire teaching together.

The Word must move beyond quotation.

Reading gives exposure.

Memorization gives recall.

Meditation develops residency.

Residency begins influencing conviction.

Conviction influences prayer.

Prayer rooted in truth becomes clearer.

Clear prayer produces deliberate action.

Deliberate action reveals agreement.

Agreement produces obedience.

Obedience shapes character.

Character becomes testimony.

And testimony points people back to Elohiym.

That is why this teaching was never merely about improving your prayer vocabulary.

It was about becoming transformed by the Word you pray.

THE FINAL CHARGE

Listen carefully, please.

Stop measuring your spiritual life by how many Scriptures you can quote.

Ask how many Scriptures are governing you.

Stop measuring prayer by volume.

Ask whether your prayer is truthful.

Stop measuring prayer by length.

Ask whether you actually communed with YAHUAH.

Stop collecting promises without studying context.

Stop declaring conditions you refuse to obey.

Stop asking Elohiym to change everything around you while refusing to allow His Word to change anything within you.

Write this down:

Do not merely carry the Constitution. Become a citizen whose life reflects the King.

Meditate.

Morning.

Midday.

Night.

Read.

Study.

Mutter.

Ponder.

Question.

Pray.

Apply.

Obey.

Remember.

Give thanks.

Then do it again tomorrow.

Not because repetition earns favor.

Because consistency cultivates maturity.

FINAL DECLARATION

Lift your right hand and declare:

“I will not be satisfied with information without transformation. I will not merely quote the Word; I will meditate upon the Word. I will allow the Word of YAHUAH to examine my thoughts, correct my motives, govern my speech, direct my decisions, and shape my conduct. I will meditate day and night, and I will guard to do according to what YAHUAH has written.”

Declare:

“My mind belongs to YAHUAH. My thoughts will come under His truth. My emotions will not become my master. Fear will not become my counselor. Bitterness will not become my residence. Hurry will not control my decisions. Noise will not drown out wisdom. Doubt will not prevent me from seeking understanding. I will return continually to the Word.”

Now declare:

“I will pray with confidence because my confidence is in YAHUAH. I will ask according to His will. I will seek wisdom. I will obey correction. I will forgive. I will trust. I will wait when He says wait, move when He says move, speak when He says speak, and remain silent when wisdom requires silence.”

And finally:

“The Word will live in me. The Word will rule in me. The Word will correct me. The Word will strengthen me. The Word will guide me. The Word will come through me, and my life will bear witness that I have not merely heard the truth—I have allowed the truth to transform me.”

MEDITATION MAKES THE WORD RESIDENT

Say it with me:

“Meditation makes the Word resident.”

Again:

“Meditation makes the Word resident.”

And when the Word becomes resident, you begin carrying truth into every room.

You carry it into conflict.

You carry it into uncertainty.

You carry it into financial pressure.

You carry it into family decisions.

You carry it into grief.

You carry it into temptation.

You carry it into success.

You carry it into disappointment.

You carry it into the midnight hour when nobody else is awake and fear attempts to become your counselor.

You carry it because it lives within you.

Tehilliym 119:11 says:

“Your word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against you.”

That is residency.

Not Scripture sitting on the shelf.

Not Scripture stored only inside an app.

Not Scripture printed beautifully across the wall.

Scripture hidden within the heart.

CLOSING ENCOURAGEMENT

Be encouraged.

You do not have to transform overnight.

You do not have to understand every passage tomorrow.

You do not have to become a walking concordance by next week.

Start with one Scripture.

Slow down.

Learn it.

Understand it.

Pray through it.

Live it.

Return tomorrow.

Spiritual maturity is built through countless ordinary decisions to remain surrendered to YAHUAH.

Some days will feel powerful.

Some days will feel ordinary.

Remain faithful on both.

Some mornings you will feel deeply focused.

Other mornings your mind will wander every thirty seconds.

Bring it back.

Some days you will obey beautifully.

Other days the Word will expose exactly how much growing remains.

Repent.

Learn.

Return.

Do not abandon the discipline because you discovered you still need transformation.

That discovery is part of transformation.

Write this down:

The Word does not expose me to destroy me. YAHUAH uses truth to correct me, mature me, and draw me closer to Himself.

So keep coming.

Keep meditating.

Keep praying.

Keep obeying.

Keep allowing YAHUAH to perform His work within you.

FINAL BLESSING

May YAHUAH establish His Word deeply within your heart. May He give you hunger for truth beyond slogans, wisdom beyond information, and obedience beyond inspiration. May His Torah become precious to you, His instructions guide you, His Ruach lead you, and His wisdom govern your decisions.

May YAHUAH quiet the noise that has competed for your attention. May He expose every lie that fear has taught you to rehearse. May He heal the places where pain has distorted how you see Him. May He strengthen your mind to remain stayed upon Him and teach you to trust His character even when you do not yet understand His timing.

May your private devotion produce public fruit.

May your meditation produce obedience.

May your obedience produce maturity.

May your maturity produce testimony.

And may your testimony glorify YAHUAH.

When uncertainty comes, return to the Word.

When fear comes, return to the Word.

When offense comes, return to the Word.

When success comes, return to the Word.

When disappointment comes, return to the Word.

When you do not know what to do next, return to the Word.

And when YAHUAH answers, delivers, corrects, restores, provides, protects, teaches, and carries you through—remember.

Tell your children.

Tell your family.

Tell the generations coming behind you.

Let them know that the Word of YAHUAH was not merely something you quoted.

It became something you lived.

Go forward with the Word in your mouth and in your heart.

Meditate therein day and night.

Guard to do according to what is written.

Let truth become resident.

Let obedience become visible.

Let prayer become sincere, confident, and aligned with the will of Elohiym.

And above everything else, let your entire life remain surrendered to the King whose Word you meditate upon.

Information is not transformation.

Quotation is not residency.

Meditation brings the Word inward.

Obedience reveals that the Word is taking root.

And a life governed by the Word becomes living evidence that truth has moved from the page into the person.

May the grace, peace, wisdom, and truth of our YAHUAH through Yahusha Ha’Mashiach remain with you as you walk in His Word.

Meditate. Apply. Obey. Remember.

And let the Word live in you.
