We are walking in today:  Check Your Love Walk.

Luke 6:27-38 (NIV) 27 “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. 30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you. 32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. 37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”  When we allowed God total access, we began to walk in His love.  Our love walk changes as well as our love language.  This is truly a test when you can love your enemies.  Not loving them only but praying for them and walking in forgiveness.  We must get this part of our walk together!  In verses 27-28, the Jews despised the Romans because they oppressed God's people, but Jesus told the people to love their enemies.  Such words turned many away from Christ.  Jesus wasn't talking about having affection for your enemies, He was talking about an act of the will.  You can't fall into this kind of love--it takes conscious effort.  You know that sista-girl that God placed in your life to minister to and you pray that she would just go away.  Or that co-worker on your job that gets on your last nerves?  Maybe it is a member of your church who is always telling other folks business.  What you thought to be annoying was God teaching you to walk in love.  Check your love walk.  Marriage is a ministry--all God is requiring you to do is, love your spouse.  It takes a conscious effort.  Let's get back to our enemies--loving our enemies means acting in their best interest.  We can pray for them, think of ways to help them.  Jesus loved the whole world even though the world is in rebellion against God.  He asked us to follow His example.  To love our enemies.  Grant your enemies the same respect and rights that you desire.  A forgiving spirit, demonstrates that a person has received God's forgiveness.  Jesus used the picture of measuring grain in a basket to ensure the full amount.
Verse 38 is not only for tithing and offering--give love and you will receive love.  Your gift will be returned to you in full, pressed down shaken together to make room for more!  Running over and poured into your lap.  God is talking about the love that we show.  The amount that you give will determine the amount that you will get back.  Take a selah moment and think about this.  We have heard and read this scripture many times.  If we are critical rather than compassionate we will receive criticism.  If we treat others generously, graciously and compassionately--then these qualities will come back to us in full measure.  We are to love others and not judge them.  An entirely different way to look at good measure, pressed down.  Not just for tithing--it is based on love.  Happy Valentines day--check your love walk today.  We should be walking in forgiveness.  Walking in the love of God.  Walking as Christ would have us to walk.  John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.  We celebrate daily the love of Christ, that love unconditional!
Greatest of all of these is love!  Love covers a multitude of sins.  Love bears all things.  We get up to give Him glory.  He looked beyond our thoughts and saw our needs.  We got to get this love walk down.  We are not to pick and choose.  Love them through it!  Stop talking about others, why not pray for them and love them?  If you love God, feed His sheep.  On this day we don't celebrate valentines day the way the world does.  We are to show the love of God to others!  Give and it shall be given unto you--the love of God, pressed down and given in good measure!  1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. Fiveamprayer, God gave us His only begotten Son.  There are so many that are expecting things on this day.  Let us remind them of what we have already been given!  A perfect, pure gift of such clarity and value that those who receive it treasure it!  Thank You God!  Look for the eternal, unfailing, perfect love of God!  His love will not wither nor wilt.  His love will not melt nor fade away.  His love is not filled with soft stuffing and latter forgotten.  Hold on and seek the true everlasting eternal love that covers, corrects, restores and protects!  Romans 4:7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.  What a awesome God we have that loves us so!  Who is mindful of us and cares for us!  Look at this with spiritual eyes--how He is and has covered and protected you making room for you to return to Him.  He has been wooing you back to Him with His perfect love.  Those just on time blessings, thoughts answered before being asked and sending you kisses down from heaven--you have to know that you are loved by God.  Deuteronomy 33:12 And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders. 1 Thessalonians 1:4 Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.  He is preparing us, fiveamprayer!  He is renewing us!  Thank You God!  We are called to love and forgive--they go hand in hand.  We must forgive others so that God will forgive you also.  Who are you to hold back forgiveness that you have so freely received from the Father?!  You were not the perfect, sinless one who died on the cross!  You are not allowed to determine who is forgiven!  He gave, so that all who believe on Him, are forgiven.  You are not in that equation!  How can you hold back on something that you did not give?!  Now let us flip this around, you are seeking forgiveness--would you want someone who had nothing to do with the gift being given being able to decide on whether or not you got it?!  Matthew 5:44-46 (AMP) 44 But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 To show that you are the children of your Father Who is in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the wicked and on the good, and makes the rain fall upon the upright and the wrongdoers [alike]. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward can you have? Do not even the tax collectors do that?  Fiveamprayer don't get caught in unforgiveness.  Our lethal weapon is forgiveness, that we would cast those offenses into the sea, as God does with our sins.  Let go and let God.  We gave Him total access on Monday, that would include loving your brothers and sisters and forgiving and not holding on to offenses.  We have to truly walk as God is directing us not just having a form of godliness.  If we would pray our way through it!  Thank You God for Your agape love.  The love that covers a multitude of sins.  Ezekiel 22:30 (AMP) And I sought a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none. Romans 8:3 (AMP) For God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh [the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [subdued, overcame, deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice].  The world don't love you like this!  We are in this world but not of it!  Do not conform to this world.  Walk in the love of God.  Thank You for this day!  1 John 4:20
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?  It is a command to love others as God loves us.  If you are walking around here hating someone, but love God--you are a liar!  Are you truly walking in the love of God?  Don't walk in unforgiveness!  God loves us and covers our multitude of sins.  Who are you to judge and condemn?  We are to walk differently than the world.  We look at and show the love of Christ.  Thank You Lord!  God wants us to read out loud a love scripture on this line this morning.  Thank You for this day, that we get to see more of His love today.  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son!  If it had not been for the love of God!  Thank You God!
Psalm 118:1-4 1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. 2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 4 Let them now that fear the Lord say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
1 Corinthians 14:1-7 1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. 2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. 5 I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying. 6 Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine? 7 And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?
Psalm 33:22 Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
Psalm 63:3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

John 1:3-4 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Psalm 36:7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
Romans 13:4-8  4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. 8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
Psalm 26:8 Lord, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.
1 John 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
John 15:10  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
John 4:8-10 8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) 9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. 10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Psalm 69:13-16 13 But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O Lord, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation. 14 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters. 15 Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me. 16 Hear me, O Lord; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.
Psalm 59:10 The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.
