The Keys Of The Kingdom

Genesis 39:1-4, John 4:22-23; Acts 17:22-31; Matthew 15:7-9; Colossians 2:23; John 4:23-24

We are walking in today:
The Keys Of The Kingdom

Thank You Adonai for sending Your servant Pastor Redding to teach on the kingdom this morning!  May he continue to yield and be lead by Your Holy Spirit!  We pray that You would pour back into him for his time and preparation for this study.  All praises to the Lord God most high!  Amen.

Genesis 39:1-4 1 And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither. 2 And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. 3 And his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand. 4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.
John 4:22-23 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

In order for us to have the functionality and the ability to maneuver in the Kingdom of God, we have to understand thoroughly the keys that we have in our possession that we can utilize.  Which separates us from those who are in the world and those who are not living according to the will of God. God has given us the keys to heaven that unlock the door to the full Glory of God. One of the keys that He has given us is the ability to worship. Sometimes we get so caught up in praise that we don’t realize that the true nature of God is in worship. We worship God through our ability to serve with gladness and by giving our lives in service. God moves when we begin to worship Him. We have to have the ability to go beyond the praise and get into the position of worship in the way that we serve, in the way that we live, in the way that we conduct business with others, and in the way that we carry ourselves on the job. When we do this, God allows the power and anointing to flow even more in our lives! We have to be willing to lay out prostrate before Him, giving Him, His rightful honor. We have to have a high respect, reverence and bow down and kiss the ground before Him. He is the King of Kings! Additionally, we have to worship together in a corporate setting. It is our responsibility as believers to come together in worship of Him so that we can have the full corporate anointing. This allows us to see healing and deliverance take place. Worship is the key that allows us connect our spirit with His Spirit. When we be begin to worship the key is placed in the door to heaven and allows us to enter into His true presence, true anointing, true glory, and true power. Not everyone has a key to open the door, but if we confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead, that He is the true Son of God, and God is the One who sits high and looks low, we will have the key. There are different kinds of worship that we see today. We have the “Ignorant Worship” as in Acts 17:22-31 22 Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.  23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. 24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;  25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;  26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;  27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: 28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. 29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. 30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: 31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.  This gives an example of where religious service is done without having knowledge of what God wants or who He is. It’s like throwing darts at a bulls’ eye while blindfolded. You may hit the mark but in the process you do a lot of damage. We also have the “Vain Worship” as found here in Matthew 15:7-9 7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. This is when hypocrites worship and don’t see God as God and all of the authority is put in man. There is no power in worshiping man. All power comes from the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. We can’t have an attitude that changes what God said. His word will stand through all situations and is strong enough to penetrate the walls of the enemy. There is also “Will Worship” in Colossians 2:23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body: not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh. This worship centers on satisfying self. It is audience centered worship where everything is about “me”. We’re living in a society where it’s all about “me”. If you don’t satisfy “me”, I’m taking everything that I have and I’m going home. If you don’t give “me” what I want then I’m not doing anything. In other words, if God doesn’t bless me and give me my desires, why should I worship Him?  John 4:23-24 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. This text teaches us that true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The correct elements of worship are God centered and not on entertaining ourselves. The blessings that we receive are a byproduct of our worship and not the focus in worship. We come to give and not to receive. Our issue is that we haven’t correctly diagnosed our problem. The problem is not with the content of our worship but with our hearts. We as believers have to correct the wrong that we see in our society. Everywhere we are, God is. All He’s asking us to do is put the key in the door so that He can release the glory. A child of God doesn’t need special stimulants to bring about proper worship. He centers his life on pleasing God therefore he is always happy to come before the Throne of Grace and praise the King! God wants us to be able to use the key to unlock that door. So we as saints must take the key that He has given us in worship and begin to utilize it. Let’s show the world that we have the key to a greater city that wasn’t made by man that allows us to be able to enjoy the total inheritance of God. Let’s touch God with our worship and our praise and allow the glory of God to fall on us. Amen!  To hear this again click here.

We seal this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus of Nazareth, the only Begotten of the Heavenly Father and by the Holy Spirit:  Let us seek our Heavenly Father in true worship, only seeking to please Him and Him alone!  Thank You Elohim for teaching us about the keys to Your kingdom--the kingdom of heaven!  Amen!
