In this chapter we have instructions for the trespass offering for atonement for concealing the truth, swearing, partial truths, mixing the unclean with the clean, unlawful oaths.  This offering was also to be done with a confession of the wrong and prayer.  The offering would not be accepted without repentance.  Because of the importance of the offering, it was not limited by a man's income.  Even the very poor were able to offer fine flour or two turtledoves.  If the fine flour was offered it did not contain frankincense or oil.  This was a simple offering, not elevated with anything else to show the loathsomeness of the sin.  This offering was to be presented for trespasses done in ignorance or forgetfulness.
Fiveamprayer, it is time for a self-check.  Even when we have been offended we don't have the right to trespass!  Take a good look in the mirror--how are you responding?  Elohim, have us to immediately repent and ask for forgiveness.  We are to make peace with who we have wronged and make restitution before going before the Lord God.  For the believers in Yeshua, He is our ram without spot or blemish. Seek forgiveness but we are also to forgive those who seek us for forgiveness.  Do not continue in unforgiveness, that leads to bitterness.  Fiveamprayer, look at yourself, get it right with your brother first!  Then you can go into Adonai.  We have to stop being right all of the time!  Someone has to go low, why not you?  It is the Almighty God that lifts us up.  No more being puffed up in self.  Remember, that if we are not forgiving our brother, He is not forgiving us!  There is no blessing in being puffed up, humble yourself, seek to live peaceably with all.
