The First Commandment-Exodus 20:2-3  I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
31. You shall not practice necromancy by inquiring of Yidoni --Deuteronomy 18:11
32. You shall not practice necromancy by consulting the dead --Deuteronomy 18:11
33. You shall harken to the Prophet --Deuteronomy 18:15 The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
34. You shall not fear the false Prophet --Deuteronomy 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
35. You shall not allow the Cananite nations to live --Deuteronomy 20:16 But of the cities of these people, which the Lord thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:

36. You shall destroy the Cananite nations --Deuteronomy 20:17 But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee:

37. You shall not allow an Ammonite or Moabite to enter the congregation, to the tenth generation --Deuteronomy 23:3 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the Lord for ever:
 38. You shall remember what Amalek did to Israel when leaving Egypt --Deuteronomy 25:17 Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;
39. You shall destroy the seed of Amalek --Deuteronomy 25:19 Therefore it shall be, when the Lord thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.
40. You shall wipe out the memory of Amalek from under heaven --Deuteronomy 25:19

We have here in the book of Isaiah chapter 9 starting verse 7 a warning about defiance.  Adonai sent a word to Jacob and it fell upon Israel. All the people will know what Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria say in pride and arrogance of heart: The bricks are fallen, but we will rebuild with cut stones. The Sycamores are cut down, but we will replace them with Cedars. Therefore Adonai raises up Rezin's adversaries against them and spurs on his enemies. Armenians from the east and the Philistines from the west they will devour Israel with open mouth. For all this His anger is not turned away, His hand is still outstretched.
The time is come to look at these warnings again we have the calendar approaching the shemittah.  Which is Elul 29 on the Hebrew calendar, Yahweh sent us a warning for us to return before judgment would fall. Fiveamprayer, He desires for us to be with Him in our obedience or to be corrected by His judgment . These verses in Isaiah gives us both warning and consequence. Will we listen and heed or take the consequence and listen later?  We have what happened with the children of Israel who received the consequence for boasting in pride of what their hands had wrought that they could rebuild again- stronger, better and higher which we see with us, now in the building of the Freedom Tower. It is this similar mindset which could lead to similar consequences if not corrected by returning to Yahweh.
Then in the book of Amos, chapter 9 beginning at verse 8, Behold the eyes of my Lord are on the sinful Kingdom. So I will utterly destroy it from the face of the earth. Nevertheless, I will not annihilate the house of Jacob. It is a declaration of Adonai. For behold, I have commanded, and I will shake the house of Israel among all the nations, like grain being tossed in a sieve, without a pebble falling to the ground. By the sword shall all the sinners of My people die, those who say: the calamity will not overtake or confront us. In that day I will raise up David's fallen sukkah. I will restore its breaches, raise up its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old so they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations called by my name.

His eyes being on the sinful Kingdom we need to determine who that is and how they are walking, that we do not walk as they walked.  He shows us we have hope, that His hand is still stretched out to Jacob , that even in the shaking in the nations the house of Israel were not even to lose a pebble to the ground.  But those who turn a blind eye and say this has nothing to do with them nor can calamity fall on them are those who die by the sword.  Then the day comes when restoration of the tabernacle of David that the breaches are restored and the ruins are raised--that all is restored as it was in the past.  Elohim tells us in Amos 9:12 who they are--so they may possess the remnant of Edom and all of the nations called by my name.  It is a declaration of Adonai, He is the one who will do this. That's something I would like to point out, in Isaiah we have the people giving themselves the credit to their own work outside of the presence of Yahweh.  Yet in Amos we have from His mouth that He will restore the tabernacle of David by the hand of the Lord God Almighty!
Fiveamprayer, the handwriting is on the wall.  This is a saying that points to a situation that the evidence is leading to an eminent climatic event.  First seen in Daniel 5 when Babylon was judged and fell that night.  We too are being judged.  The times are much like they were in Noah's time before entering the ark.  Yeshua warns of this time and His return in Matthew 24:36-38 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark.
The curse of the judgement from Isaiah 9:10-11 was said over America after the 9/11 attacks and the following years by Senator Tom Daschel, Senator John Edwards and President Obama.  We have to be aware of what is going on.  We must not be caught up in pursuits of prosperity while time and prophecy march on.  The setting of this scripture is in ancient Israel.  They too came to a point of correction and did not return to what Yahweh would have them do, this results in the northern kingdom being destroyed and the people scattered--later later known as the 10 lost tribes.
Then we have the book of Amos which shows us a time in Israel's history where they were in a time of prosperity like the time of king Solomon.  His message of repentance that they would not be brought down nor scattered for arrogance or disobedience to Yahweh's voice.
Let's look at the state of America, now.  Prayer taken out of schools, the 10 commandments disregarded, same sex marriages promoted and legalized in many states; the murder of unborn children by the millions--definitely a country that is drawing judgement for the selfish focus on success standards by material wealth or possessions.  These pursuits are all in error to what Yahweh has given for our instruction.  Even when there is judgement, there is still a way to escape.  He wants the correction to bring us back to Him.
Mankind is no more sinful than any other time but due to the technological advances people are able to involve more in their sins and have far reaching effects.  What this time should cause us to do, it to review what Yahweh has taught us to do.  Make and take the correction, return to Him with your whole heart and seek Him eagerly in all of His ways!  To hear more of this click here.
