Isaiah 8 (KJV)1 Moreover the Lord said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz. 2 And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah. 3 And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the Lord to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz. 4 For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria. 5 The Lord spake also unto me again, saying, 6 Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah's son; 7 Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks: 8 And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel. 9 Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. 10 Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us. 11 For the Lord spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, 12 Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. 13 Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. 14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. 16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. 17 And I will wait upon the Lord, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him. 18 Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion. 19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? 20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. 21 And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward. 22 And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.\

Fiveamprayer, we have a problem.  This is something we were beginning to dig into about two years ago and for those new to fiveamprayer just recently.  We begin to see and find that these rules, regulations and practices of various denominations of the churches are not able to be located in the holy scriptures.  But how can this be you say?  Yet what is in scripture is not what those in the pulpits speak or teach the congregations are learning about.  This also lets us see that the view of the first half of the Bible no longer applies to us in our current times.  Yet this text has been about for centuries and was told orally before being written down many more year before that.  But somehow the word of He is created all things could or world expire, become obsolete and not required.  How strange that the eternal, all powerful One Yahweh would set an expiration date on His word, while scripture actually proves that statement false.  1 Kings 8:56 Blessed be the Lord, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.   We have over and over again in the Bible that the word of Almighty God, Yahweh is everlasting so how can the Bible be partically expired?

Another question that stems from the various translations that result in the current Bibles we have today that has lead us to using titles to speak of our King and Lord when He has a personal name.  What a shock for those who have spent many decades in churches and Bible studies and find that His name is Yahweh and in the flesh walking the earth Yeshua.  Well in our first research and discussion of this was that the translation was for easier pronunciation of His name.  Wow, this misinformation was given to us to be able to say His name easier but we were only calling Him by titles.  The name of a person is very important.  I am certain that most of us do not want to be called by another name--or only a title for those who know them.

So these improvements and many others instituted by the early church fathers and make things easier for the people have over time created groups of people upholding and practicing all kinds of things never even hinted at in the Bible.  When the Bible give clear directions for the sabbath and the feast days of Yahweh are not observed--do we have a choice to change what was set forth from the beginning?  Can the hand crafted item change that which the craftsman has made?  Take the time to read, study and discern scripture from it's original Hebraic context.  There is no more time for altering His word to suit our preferences.  That thought is full of fleshly desires.  This journey will lead to uncovering more and more lies until we arrive to where the shining truth resides.  We have to wake up to His marvellous light, He knows what is best for you.  No longer uphold tradition for tradition's sake when we find the scripture clearly says otherwise.  For example do you realize that one of the steps were taken in the institution of the Sunday sabbath was to have sporting evens on Saturday?  With people being drawn into other activities it was easier to go with the crowd and change to Sunday.  When people do not stand with, for and on scripture they are apt to agree to anything that 'sounds good'.  Why would that be dangerous?  We are well educated people and able to think for ourselves.  Genesis 3:1-4 1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:   We see in the garden that we can be presented with an option that appears to be sound but at the heart is disobedience to His instructions.  This opposing practices from scripture upheld by many churches are not to be continued once determined.  Continue to be a Berean and prove all things by scriptures.  It is His word and He is single-minded in His purpose and all of His word agrees with Himself.  That is why we can stand on scripture--Romans 3:4  God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.  To hear more of this teaching click here.
