What One Rabbi Discovered... It's All about Yeshua

Malachi 3; Isaiah 53; Acts 17:11

We are walking in today:
What One Rabbi Discovered... It's All about Yeshua

Witness idol worship throughout the Bible:  H4656 miphletseth horrid thing, horrible thing that is praised and honored
Isaiah 2:8; John 18:36; 1 Corinthians 5:11; Ephesians 5:5; Revelations 21:8

Fiveamprayer we have to look at the

Bereans
,
 1st century believers
--who s
tudied the scriptures like their lives depended on it.

Acts 17:10-11

10 But as soon as night fell, the brothers sent Sha’ul and Sila off to Berea.

As soon as they arrived, they went to the synagogue. 11 Now the people here were of nobler character than the ones in Thessalonica; they eagerly welcomed the message, checking the Tanakh every day to see if the things Sha’ul was saying were true
.

I love a great story of truth over injustice, underdog versus tyranny, good versus bad--of course I always root for the good side, that's just the Yahweh in me. In any case, we have a very hard teaching this morning. We are going to the truth of discovery--to the truth of the biblical authors and it's origins. Few know or understand the Bible's authors were Jews or Israelites. When this history is mentioned there is almost a pride or indignation that rises up. As if to say Christianity just popped up out of nowhere. Or that there is a cloak or invisible blanket somehow shields these practitioners of the faith even unto the clergy. Even though they were Israelites, the transcribers were Greeks, Greco-Roman in theory and for their interpretation for that matter. That to an alert student, should raise a question or several about the Bible. Should I use Greek or Hebrew to interpret the word? For one Hebrew word there is about 5 Greek words and then several more as we go into the English interpretation. Hebrew is a pure language that Yahweh gave to His children at Sinai. Well the answer is in case you didn't know and thank you for asking is, Hebrew. By this implies gross deception is under foot. Words changed, meanings distorted and scriptures taken out all done on purpose???  That is for the scholar in you to determine.

There is nothing worst than a liar. The liar will not tell the truth but bend the truth to find suitable favor. So you'll get partial truth and that's that!!! Well kinda like reading the Brit Chadasha (New Testament) with the lie that says the Torah, Nevi'im and Ketuvim (Old Testament, Tanakh) were done away with! How can this be when over 80% of the Brit Chadasha comes from the studied scriptures of the Tanakh?! So that means the Talmidim (disciples) studied the Torah. Yeshua studied the Torah. Everyone studied the Torah!!!! We have to remember that at this time most people had a very familiar knowledge of the Torah and the prophets and the writings.  Those who continued on in further study had committed to memory large portions of the holy text. The 1st century church all studied the original path Yahweh prescribed yet with a turn of events, what started happening which history bears witness is, this shift from the truth to our current state of finely dressed deceit.  Study of the original text holds the keys to understanding. Yet this is the furthest thing for the average follower to do. They are content with just a surface rendering of the text from a Greco-Roman mindset from their local pastor. This is the danger of those who refuse to study Hebrew and break into the truth in the atmosphere!  It is time to tear up some fallow ground, truly break some bondages on their lives--cease from living a lie!  The mass majority of believers that refuse to study their own origins and scripture from the Hebraic mindset. Which is by far vastly in deference to modern day Catholic Christian beliefs. Yet the cloak of deception continues as if Yeshua wasn't a Hebrew nor the Talmidim or the people during that time and geographical area. This image constructed of blond hair, blue eyes, wearing a gown and a pair of sandals--would not be found in the area now known as the Middle East.
Sadly the majority of believers will not study and those that have studied have vainly studied through the Greco-Roman systems of beliefs that are pagan in their foundation. The Hebraic setting was filtered out over time throughout the various denominations of the churches. Which is ironic--due to the fact that the church was birthed out of Judaism. She is the woman with child spoken of in the book of Revelation. The church is the baby, but far from the apple that fell from the tree. As the spin of this teaching...the story goes a rabbi bent on seeking the truth discovers what has been hidden to the majority of learned scholars and rabbinical leaders of the current time. This discovery to make a long story short was that the Christian Jesus is the Jewish Messiah. 'What nonsense is this?' Of course was the response from other rabbi's and his fellow peers.  Well the story gets better because you know how some believers feel about their Jesus not being a Jew, let alone blond hair and blue eyed...to hear more of this awesome teaching
