HANUKKAH IS THE OPPOSITE OF CHRIST-MASS
Deuteronomy chapter 12
Today we are walking in: Hanukkah is The Opposite of Christ-Mass!
Gen 1:15
And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light H215 upon the earth: and it was so.
light
Today we look to the word H215 owr--to be or become light, shine; to become light (day); to shine (of the sun)
to become bright; to be illuminated; to become lighted up; to give light, shine (of sun, moon, and stars); light up, cause to shine, shine; to kindle, light
The Torah testifies...............
Exo 13:21
And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; H215 to go by day and night:
Num 8:2
Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light H215 over against the candlestick.
The prophets proclaim..................
Ezr 9:8
And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten H215 our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.
Neh 9:12
Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light H215 in the way wherein they should go.
The writings bear witness...........................
Psa 105:39
He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light H215 in the night.
One of the most misunderstood biblical feast day known as “Hanukkah” is often-times ridiculed as a “substitute” for Christ-Mass and diminished by those within the Hebraic Root’s Community as something that is “extra-biblical.” I, for one have heard all the arguments against Hanukkah where people claim that by celebrating it, we are “adding” to the Towrah (Mosaic Law) in violation of Deuteronomy 12:32. However, once we understand the history behind Hanukkah, we can begin to see that just the opposite is true about the Rededication of The Most High’s Temple. How can a celebration that is dedicated to the “over-throw” of Zeus worship on December 25th be considered pagan? Such logic and rationale defies all common sense, especially when we dig deeper into the scriptures. I am now going uncover the truth about the “Feast of Dedication,” seen in John 10:22, and you will understand that Hanukkah reveals a very deep and profound prophetic picture of our future destiny in the New Jerusalem.
Hanukkah is the perfect anti-thesis to Christ-Mass, because it paints a contrast between the holy and the profane. Hanukkah illustrates just how detestable pagan sun-god worship is to our Heavenly Father. When you consider what the term “Christ-Mass” actually means, it should be evident that the Roman Catholic “Mass of Christ” is a celebration that is meant to dishonor his “once-and-for-all” sacrifice for sins, rather than to honor his birth.
The term “Christ-Mass” literally means “The massacre of Christ.” The Latin word “mass,” literally means “a dismissal,” and it is the root word from where we derive “a mass gathering of people,” hence a gathering where mass child sacrifices to Moloch took place in ancient Babylon. In the Roman Catholic Church, a mass gathering of people conduct a reenactment of the crucifixion of our Messiah, because their Catechism states “At every mass, he must perform the function of the victim anew, as though he were never sacrificed.”
The word “Christ” is a Greek translation for the Hebrew word “Mashiyach” (Messiah) which means “to anoint with oil.” A common denominator for all the Anti-Messiahs (Antichrists) of history is that they always murdered (massacred) the anointed servants of The Most High, and they almost always did this in the name of their pagan sun-deities who were worshiped on December 25th. To massacre the anointed servants of Yah on December 25th was their highest form of worship to their false pagan sun-gods. December 25th was, and still is known in the occult pagan world as “the rebirth of the sun.” The pagans believed that their sun-god died every year at the Winter Solstice on December 21st. Three days later, on Christ-Mass Eve, (December 24th) they would conduct a “mass gathering” (a massacre) where they would sacrifice infants on the altar to their sun-gods, as they believed that the blood of these infants empowered the sun to come back to life! Then on December 25th the sun was supposedly “reborn” (according to pagan mythology) because of the sacrifice of these infants. And throughout history, we have seen that Satan has continued this pattern by persecuting the Children of Yisra’el, the chosen elect of The Most High. About 167 years before Messiah came to earth, there was a Greek-Syrian dictator known as Antiochus. Antiochus took over the 2nd Hebrew Temple and he set up an abominable image of Zeus, in whom the pagans believe is reincarnated each year on December 25th. Antiochus also believed that he was the “incarnation” of Zeus and so he gave himself the title
“Epiphanies” which in Greek means “God Manifest.” This means that he was claiming to be a reincarnation of “God” on December 25th in 167 B.C. If that wasn’t bad enough, he also forced the covenant people of Yah to bow down to this image of Zeus, and if they did not comply, they were brutally tortured and killed. Interestingly, the word “Epiphanies” adds up to 666 in the Greek alpha-numeric system. Antiochus was a precursor to the final Antichrist who will sit in the Temple of Elohiym according to prophecy (2nd Thessalonians 2:4, Matthew 24:15) just before the second coming of Yahushua Messiah. In recent years, we have seen that Satan has tried to launch a campaign against Hanukkah by making people believe that it is “pagan,” when in reality, Hanukkah celebrates the over-throw of pagan sun-god worship that is practiced each year by Witches, Satanists and Christians alike on December 25th. What is Satan so worried about? Why does he want to discredit Hanukkah? It is because Hanukkah is the exact anti-thesis to Christ-Mass? Or is it because our Messiah celebrated it in commemoration of the Re-dedication of his Father’s House? (John 10:22). Whatever the reason, it is obvious that Satan is not happy about the rededication of the Temple of The Most High. During the reign of Antiochus, he persecuted the true followers of The Most High who obeyed his Towrah (his instructions) and he forced them to eat unclean animals and swine’s flesh. He also outlawed circumcision for infant males, the Sabbath days, the Feast days of The Most High and he slaughtered thousands who refused to bow to an image of Zeus on December 25th. Anyone who was caught circumcising their baby boy according to the commandment of Yah, was tortured for their faith and killed. Antiochus also burned all the Towrah scrolls that he could find and he defiled the Temple with graven images of false gods. Those who refused to go along with this false pagan religion of Antiochus were brutally murdered in front of their own family members and their dead bodies were publicly displayed to incite fear into those who would dare to disagree with Antiochus. This event in history should be told to our children in order to prepare them for the final “Man of Sin” (the Antichrist) spoken of in 2nd Thessalonians 2:4 who will be bring into the Temple of Elohiym the “Mystery of Iniquity.” The Greek word for “iniquity” in this passages is “anomia” which comes from the root word “anomos” which means “without Hebrew Law” or in other words “against the Mosaic Law.”
The Syncretism of Christ-Mass & Hanukkah
What does the word “syncretism” mean? The dictionary defines this word “syncretism” as follows:
“Syncretism is the combining of different beliefs, often while melding practices of various schools of thought. Religious syncretism exhibits blending of two or more religious belief systems into a new system, or the incorporation into a religious tradition of beliefs from unrelated traditions.” When people attempt to mix two opposing beliefs into one belief system, our Heavenly Father has a controversy with them for this is a violation of his holy covenant:
Yechezqel (Ezekiel) 22:26 Her priests have violated my Towrah (law), and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they showed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
Yechezqel (Ezekiel) 44:23 And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.
In recent times, some Hebrew people have begun to use Hanukkah as a “replacement” of sorts for Christ-Mass. But Hanukkah is the exact opposite of Christ-Mass. Some Hebrews have invented a “Hanukkah Bush” instead of a Christ-Mass Tree where they decorate it for the holiday with lights and ornaments. This clearly is a violation of Yirmeyahuw (Jeremiah) 10 where we are commanded not to cut down a tree (or a bush) and take it into our homes to decorate it. Some Hebrews have even invented a Jewish Santa Claus who dresses in blue and white instead of a red and white suit. I have even seen the syncretism of Hebrews trying to blend Hanukkah with Christ-Mass by calling it “Christmakah” or “Hanukkah-Mass.” But these two celebrations cannot be mixed together for they represent two opposing ideas. Christ-Mass represents the defilement of The Most High’s Temple with pig’s blood, and the worship of Zeus on December 25th. Whereas, Hanukkah represents the cleansing & re-dedication of The Most High’s Temple after it has been defiled by idolatry. Because of some of these man-made traditions that have been “added” to the “Feast of Dedication” by those within Judaism, it has caused some people to reject the original purpose and intent behind Hanukkah entirely. Beloved, the “roots” of Christ-Mass are inherently pagan from its very inception at the Tower of Babel. Conversely, the origin of Hanukkah pictures the second coming our our Messiah when he himself will be like Judah Maccabee, fighting a war with his army (Revelation 19:11-14) to overthrow the Anti-Messiah (Antichrist) who will have defiled the Temple of The Most High. Some people have rejected the book of Maccabees, because it is not currently part of the scriptures. However, what most people may be unaware of is that the book of Maccabees was originally part of the Cannon of Scripture in the 1611 King James Bible. The only reason why it was left out of the second printing in 1634 is because King James ran out of funds in his treasury, and so it was left out of the 1634 printing.
In Bereshiyth (Genesis) 49, Ya’aqob (Jacob) prophesied that his son Yahuwdah (Judah) would hold the scepter to issue decrees and laws (Towrah). Esther who was from the Tribe of Benjamin of the House of Judah also held the scepter, as her husband King Ahasuerus extended the golden scepter to her (the scepter of Judah). She in turn handed that authority over to her cousin Mordechai and together, they also gave a decree to remember what The Most High did for them in saving them from complete annihilation and thus preserving the blood-line of our Messiah (Esther 9). This celebration is called “Puwriym” and it means “to cast the lot, to crush” the plans of Satan that were formed against the people of Yahuwdah (Judah). Likewise, Judah Maccabees, whose name bears the name of the Tribe of Yahuwdah (Judah) is symbolic of our Messiah who will return as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, with vengeance against the Anti-Messiah. Judah Maccabee was also a type of our Messiah because he was willing to lay down his life, to fight against the Anti-Messiah leader Antiochus. When Judah Maccabee and his army won the war, and took back the Temple of The Most High, it was then cleansed and dedicated back to The Most High according to the commandment in the Towrah. This event is therefore called “Hanukkah” which is a Hebrew word that simply means “Dedication.”
The Birth of Messiah on Yom
Teruw’ah & Conception on Hanukkah
There is much scriptural evidence to support the fact that our Messiah was born on September 11th in 3 B.C. on the Feast of Trumpets or Yom Teruw’ah, and he was conceived on December 13th in 4 B.C. on Hanukkah. I have conducted many years of since the research since 2002, to uncover the details of when Messiah was born and conceived.
By counting 271 days backwards from the day that our Messiah, Yahushua was born on Yom Teruw’ah (Feast of Trumpets), September 11th in 3 B.C., we come to the exact date of December 13th in 4 B.C. which was Hanukkah. This means that the incarnation of Yahushua Messiah took place on Hanukkah! The Angel Gabriel announced to Miryam (Mary) on the 24th day of the 9th Hebrew month of Kislev that she would “conceive a son,” and he would be called “Immanuel” meaning “El with us.” Why do we count 271 days backwards from his date of birth to determine his incarnation or conception? Well, it is because the average human gestation period for male babies is nine months plus one day. The Hebrew word for pregnancy is “herayon” which consists of the following Hebrew letters: hey, resh, yad, waw (vav), nun. Since the Hebrew letters also have numerical values, the total numerical value of the Hebrew word is seen as follows:
Hey = 5, Resh = 200, Yud = 10, Waw (Vav) = 6, Nun = 50
Total: 5 + 200 + 10 + 6 + 50 = 271
This illustration is a Bible Code Matrix of Messiah’s birth on the Feast of Trumpets and his conception on Hanukkah. You can see that the Angel Gabriel appeared to Miriam two days earlier on Kislev 22. Haggai 2:18 gives us a hint that on the 24th day of the 9th month of Kislev, the conception/incarnation actually took place! You might be asking yourself “Is this the only evidence that you have for Messiah’s birth and conception? A Bible Code matrix?” On the contrary, this Bible Code matrix is merely the “icing on the cake” as you are soon going to see that the prophet Chaggay (Haggai) prophesied about this event of the Messiah’s incarnation on Hanukkah hundreds of years before it took place. Not only does Hanukkah point to the body of Messiah being conceived in his mother’s womb, but it also points to the fact that in the future, the Temple in the New Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) will be the Messiah himself (Revelation 21:22). The fact that his incarnation would take place on the same day as the rededication of his Father’s Temple in the future is very significant on many levels as we are about to discover. The Most High was rededicating the true Temple (our Messiah) when he placed the “seed” of his son in the womb of Miryam on the eve of Hanukkah. We can see a prophetic statement in John 2:20 when Yahushua declared that he would raise up this Temple (his body) “after three days.” Not only was he in the grave for a literal “three days and three nights” (Matthew 12:40), but this pertains to 3,000 years from his crucifixion. After the 1,000-year Millennial Reign of Messiah, he will raise up the true Temple which is himself! In 2nd Keefa (Peter) 3:8, he tells us that “One day is like a thousand years to The Most High,” therefore, this prophecy of his body being raised up “after three days” has a triple fulfillment. The first fulfillment was his own body being resurrected on the third day following his sacrifice on Passover. The second fulfillment will be when his bride (the body of Messiah) will be raised up and born into “immortality” in the future. The final fulfillment will be at the end of the 7,000th year from creation (the 7th millennium) when the first heaven and earth will be burned up and the “new heaven and the new earth” will come down (Revelation 21:1-2). This is when the bride will become the “New Jerusalem” and the “Lamb and The Most High Almighty will be the Temple.” Now we can begin to see why his conception taking place on Hanukkah was the starting point for when The Most High would begin to “lay the foundation” for his everlasting Temple! The prophet Haggai foretold of this event that would take place “on the 24th day of the 9th Month (Kislev)” on the Hebrew calendar, which is the “eve” or “ereb” of Hanukkah. The “seed” (Messiah) would begin to be “in the barn” (Miryam’s womb) and from that moment, The Most High would begin to restore his kingdom by over-throwing pagan sun-god worship: Chaggay (Haggai) 2:18 Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month (Hanukkah), even from the day that the foundation of The Most High’s Temple was laid, consider it. 19 Is the seed yet in the barn? Yes, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, has not brought forth: from this day will I bless you. Now what could this mysterious language in Haggai’s prophecy mean?
The Hebrew word for “seed” in this passage is as follows:
#2233 zera zeh'-rah from 2232 seed: figuratively, fruit, plant, sowing-time, posterity: carnally, child, fruitful, seed (time), sowing-time.
The Hebrew word for “barn” is seen below:
#4035 mguwrah meg-oo-raw' feminine of 4032 or 4033; a fright; also a granary; barn, fear.
However, this word has another Hebrew root that seems to point to the Feast of Tabernacles wherein we are commanded to make pilgrimage to Jerusalem each year. As a newborn, our Messiah dwelled in the “sukkah” or “manger” following his birth on the Feast of Trumpets. Hence, this word for “barn” paints a picture:
#4033 maguwr maw-goor' or magur {maw-goor'} ; from 1481 in the sense of lodging; a temporary abode; by extension, a permanent residence: dwelling, pilgrimage, sojourn, be a stranger.
Our Messiah declared that he had come for “The lost sheep of the house of Yisra’el,” or in other words, those who were still in exile and known as “strangers.” In Ephesians 2, Sha’uwl (Paul) declared that Messiah has made us “no longer strangers,” but now part of the Commonwealth of Yisra’el. Our Messiah left his heavenly abode and became a “stranger” on our behalf! What about the mysterious language of the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree? Let’s begin with Messiah’s own words as he referred to himself as “the vine” in John 15:1. He also referred to the “fig tree” as the holy city, Jerusalem in Matthew 21:19 & 24:32. The reference to the “pomegranate” comes from the design for the priestly garment of the Lewiytes (Levites) mentioned in Exodus 28 & 39. The “olive tree” is a metaphor for Yisra’el (Jeremiah 11:16). The hem of the garment for the priests was to be made with little bells at the bottom shaped like pomegranates. This same design will also carry over to the Melchizedek priesthood in Messiah’s Kingdom. What does the pomegranate represent? The Hebrew word for “pomegranate” is defined in the Strong’s Concordance as follows:
#7416 rimmown rim-mone’ from 7426; a pome-granate, the tree (from its upright growth) or the fruit (also an artificial ornament):--pomegranate.
#7426 ramam raw-mam’ a primitive root; to rise (literally or figuratively):--exalt, get oneself up, lift up (self), mount up.
As you can see, the word in Hebrew for “pomegranate” has a root that means “to rise, to get oneself up” which is another way of saying “resurrection!” In Judaism, it is said that the pomegranate has an average of 613 seeds in it which represents how many commandments there are in the Towrah. However, I have tested this theory by counting the seeds in Pomegranates, and while they may come close, they do not always have 613 seeds in them. The reference about this in the Talmud explains that the pomegranate is simply a “metaphor” for the Towrah as it has “many seeds” and those who obey the commandments are like Abraham’s “seed” or offspring. Messiah Yahushua is called the “Living Towrah,” because he is the “Word” who came in the form of human flesh, and his “seed” is the incorruptible seed of the first-born sons of Yisra’el (1st Peter 1:23). The stem of a pomegranate which is called “the crown” and it is in the shape of the “six-pointed star” which some call the “Magen David” or the “Star of David.” In Romans 1:25, the Apostle Sha’uwl (Paul) explained that those who have been turned over to a reprobate mind have exchanged the worship of the Creator into the worship of the creature (created things in nature). This is the very essence of idolatry. It is when we take our eyes off of the Messiah Yahushua who has created all things, and we instead place our eyes on that which has been created by him. The reason why I went into this explanation is because I want to illustrate that our Messiah is the true “star” symbolized by this pomegranate! Interestingly, the six-pointed star also symbolizes the six letters in our Messiah’s name: Yad, Hey, Waw, Shin, Waw, Ayin, Yahushua. Since Adam was created on the 6th day of creation (Genesis 1:26-27), and our Messiah came as “The last Adam” (1st Corinthians 15:45) and also as the “Son of Man,” (Matthew 9:6), it stands to reason that his crown has six points. When Yahushua returns to rule and reign on the earth over all of humanity, he will be given “many crowns” (Revelation 19:12). These many crowns will mean that he has authority to rule over the “many seeds” of Abraham (symbolized by the many seeds in pomegranates). The pomegranate seed also resembles the drops of blood that our Messiah sweated out of his pores when he prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane:
Luqas (Luke) 22:44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
When our Messiah returns, he will be wearing a “golden crown” on his head and “A vesture dipped in blood” (Revelation 19:13), just like the pomegranate:
Chazown (Revelation) 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
Chazown (Revelation) 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of Elohiym.
Haggai’s prophecy uses the “olive tree” as a metaphor of Yisra’el (Jeremiah 11:16). From the crushed olives of the olive tree, comes the anointing oil to give light in the temple menorah. Yahushua Messiah is the embodiment of “the vine,” the life-sustaining source through which the other grapes in the vineyard survive. He also embodies ”the fig tree,” a metaphor for Jerusalem, the city where he has chosen to place his name. Messiah is the King of Salem, (an Ancient name for Jerusalem), who first met with Abraham in Genesis 14:18, as Melchizedek. The ”pomegranate” is a metaphor for the earth, and the seeds therein are the seed of Abraham (the chose ones) that will be harvested at Messiah’s return. Restored & redeemed Yisra’el is symbolized by ”the olive tree,” when both houses will be reunited as ”one stick in the hand of The,” (Ezekiel 37:16).
Chaggay (Haggai) 2:20 And again the word of The came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month [Hanukkah], saying, 21 Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Yahuwdah (Judah), saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth; 22 And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, everyone by the sword of his brother.
Aha! Now we see why Hanukkah was important to Yahushua, because it celebrates his conception, and the future day when he will become the Temple in the New Yerushalayim! Even the name Chaggay (Haggai) in Hebrew means “festive” and it comes from another root word which means “festival, solemn feast day!”
