It's Time To Watch At All Times.

Matthew 14:22-34; 2 Chronicles 7:14

We are walking in today:  It's Time To Watch At All Times.

Matthew 14:22-34 22) And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. 23) And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. 24) But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. 25) And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. 26) And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. 27) But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. 28) And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29) And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30) But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31) And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? 32) And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. 33) Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God. 34) And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.  The Romans divided up the night into watches of three hours and there were 4 watches to the night.  During the first watch of the night they begin with great intensity. They kept rowing and rowing and getting no where.  They began to get discouraged in the second watch of the night.  I'm sure that just as they were tempted to quit some of the disciples said, come on we can do this!  We have done this before!  This is nothing new.  We have done this, let's do it again!  They continued to struggle in the third watch of the night.  They still had not gone any where and were beginning to  despair.  But maybe there was a lone voice, on or two perhaps that said, come on we can do this, don't give up, keep struggling in the fourth watch of the night.  At that point they were in utter despair, imagine the disciples said on to another, we are doomed.  We can't do this.  We are lost.  The sea is too great for us, if things are difficult we may think that God is against us.  We might sometimes think that we have done something wrong and we are being punished.  If I find myself in pain, distress, and suffering am I far from the Lord?!  Jesus comes to the disciples in the fourth watch of the night.  He comes when it is darkest.  He comes after they have struggled for nine or ten hours.  He comes to them at the end of their struggle.  There are many answers to the question like this--why did Christ wait until the fourth watch of the night?  One answer is certain--God lets us struggle so that we might be humbled by our struggle.  It is then that the Lord showed up and came to the disciples.  He lets us struggle so that we might see that we have nothing without Him.  He lets us struggle that we may have faith.  He lets us struggle that we might see the reality of who He is.  What is it, the disciples said, after this took place?  They fell down, on their knees before Christ and said truly Thou art the Son of God.  We know the truth when we have struggled to believe. The revelation of divine truth does not often come to us, when life is comfortable.  The revelations which is real to our hearts, does not come when everything is going right.  When our fridge is full of food, and there is extra money in the bank, and everybody is treating us the way we want to be treated.  Everything is explainable, and we are happy as clams!  It doesn't come then--the revelation of divine truth comes from when we struggle.  In our struggling, we believe. When we are struggling and not quitting.  When we struggle through the first watch to the second watch and on to the third watch, then on to the fourth watch where they suffered the agony of loneliness, the agony of despair, the agony of the fact that life doesn't make sense.  It is then when we struggle to believe--that is when we are granted the knowledge that is salvation.  We may be tempted, to look around and complain to God about how others seem to have it easier than us.  We must always be on watch.  Because God  is still in control.  He is still working it out for us!  There are different watches, but God is always watching over us.  Sometimes we may have to struggle a little bit, to build our faith.  Take a look at the natural--in weight training there is a struggle against the weight to build up the muscle.  Without the weight or difficulty to push against the muscle, it will not be able to be developed.  The same is true with our faith.  We must operate in it to have it to be able to believe for more and more each time we are faced with an issue that we can not solve in our flesh or intellect.  Where is your faith?  What are you looking to and trusting in?  He has told us over and over that He will never leave us nor forsake us!  So that should not come up in the struggle--Hold on God will bring us out in a little while!  God is watching us to see if we will give up or will we fight to believe His word.  Will be fight to overcome what we see in the natural and stand on His word in spite of what those around us may be saying.  God came with a word on yesterday--to tell us that we have to labor in His word.  That is how we will know who He is.  Only then will we know--then today He comes back to tells us we have to watch at all times!  Remember yesterday He told us to watch and to pray.  You have got to know that you are on watch at all times!  Every hour, on the hour--praying without ceasing!  They are praying at 3am, down in Florida--they are praying and seeking God.  Then there is a 9 am watch and a 6am watch--fiveamprayer, we need to know that God is always in control. God watches over us!  He is watching over His word to preform it!  All you have to do is to keep on going!  Don't quit and don't stop! 
Now is not the time to give up, fiveamprayer!  Don't give up in the struggle!  Guess what, the blessing is in the struggle.  This struggle is gonna make you stronger!  Don't give up in the struggle, that is what makes you better and wiser.  In the natural when the caterpillar is coming out of its cocoon, it has to struggle and fights with it's new wings to be strong enough to survive.  If the cocoon was cut away with no struggle, the butterfly would not have enough strength to live.  This struggle lets us know that we can not do this by ourselves.  His grace is sufficient.  He gives us joy unspeakable!  When it gets too rough, the waves too high, the Lord can speak a word, peace be still.  We are to be on guard, fully suited up in the whole armor of God, with our sword at the ready!  God always come back to confirm His word.  He loves us so that He wants us to know what He is telling us--that we don't miss Him when He is moving.  Fiveamprayer, God is moving!  Don't miss Him!  We must watch and pray!  In the struggle it is His love that is covering us.  Are you watching at all times, fiveamprayer?!  Or are you sleeping?  We are in the fourth watch, it is darkest before daybreak--we are going through and pressed on every side.  He is bringing us out by His grace, and mercy.  It is revelation time, I don't know about you but, I feel Him in the atmosphere!  He comes when we are hard pressed.  He is God all by Himself.  He will never leave nor forsake us!  He will deliver us from out of it all!  Don't give up on your marriage, or children or finances.  We have held on in the first, second and third watches, continue holding in in the fourth watch!!   Keep speaking those things that be not as though they were!  It is the fourth watch!  For your healing, reconciliation and provision--hold on to God in the fourth watch!  In your health, marriages, and finances--God is showing up in the fourth watch, because you submitted that thing to Him.  Truly letting go and looking to God.  Ask Job, who received a 1,000 fold return because he held on in the fourth watch where he lost everything.  God shows up in the last hour.  When God shows up, day is about to break.  We should be expecting His promises to be made manifested in our lives!  Ask Abraham who received his son of the promise from, Sarah when she was 99 years old.  It is fourth watch time!  God is working things out in our life!  Thank Him for your fourth watch!  The devil is trying to disguise our season, he is still a liar and the father of all lies!  God is blessing us above what we could ask or think!  Hallelujah God!  For those that are hard pressed, that God shows up in the fourth watch.  He sees you praying and not ceasing.  Not fainting, but holding on until He blesses you!  You thought it was over, and then He shows up in the fourth watch.  Do you have mustard seed faith, in the fourth watch?  He could not show up in the first watch, you could have stopped praying.  He could not show up in the second watch, you would have thought that you did it yourself.  He could not show up  in the third watch, cause see all hell was breaking loose.  He need to see if you would hold on to the fourth watch, holding on like never before!  So then He comes by to show up in the fourth watch--You told God, I will watch at all times!  Thank You Lord for having us to get up early in the morning, no matter how we feel.  He has brought us from a mighty long way!  We have learned to let go and let God in some areas.  Thank You for Your grace, as we learn to let go in all of the other areas also!  God is blessing us in the fourth watch!  Abundantly!  Overflow!  Blessings, beyond count!  Every time we turn around, God keeps on blessing us!  Anybody in the fourth watch?!  Don't you let go until He blesses you!  Don't give up now!  You have fought so hard for so long!  You can't give up in the fourth watch.  He came that we would have life and that more abundantly!  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives!  Greater is He that is with in us than he that is within this world.  We can do all things through Christ Jesus!  It is in the struggle where you will get your blessing!  Hold on--we need to realize our blessing is in the struggle.  Will you stand no matter what?  In the fourth watch, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord!  Fiveamprayer, held on in 2009, 2010, 2011 this in the fourth watch, 2012.  We have prayed without ceasing, getting up for four years and we are not gonna give up now!  God shows up in the fourth watch!  And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them...He shows up when it is the darkest in our situation.  Hallelujah God!  If you believe it is your season in the fourth watch, you will receive!  You have been praying and waiting--kept holding on, no more complaint just walking it out.  No longer giving the same response  What God has for me, it is for me!  Just stand still and see the salvation of the Lord!  Not trying to be god myself, or trying to help God out.  He does not need our help--He shows up in the fourth watch, by then what we thought would work has totally failed.  You will receive what you need from the Father's hand and more!  The struggle is preparing you to receive, that you are equipped to handle your blessing!  God will send us some one to help us!  Thank You God! 

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit:  Genesis 32:24-26 24) And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. 25) And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. 26) And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

Fiveamprayer, we are in the fourth watch!  Don't be afraid, you are in the fourth watch.  He has opened up the windows of heaven and is pouring out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it!  He is watching us--His children struggling and standing on His word.  As for me and and my house we will serve the Lord!  Not giving up, God shows up in the fourth watch.  He is gonna let us know He was always there--we are covered by Him and Him alone.  Thank You Father for Your mercy, grace and favor!  Now you are better for the next test.  New level, new devil.  We have learned to hold our peace.  We have learned to lean not to our own understanding.  We have learned to hold on in the struggle.  It is our God that provides for us in the wilderness, the children of Israel had clothes and shoes that did not wear out.  He came in the fourth watch of the night.  Can you imagine Him showing up, the Light Of The World, at the darkest time of the night?  Darkness can not exist in the presence of light.  Fiveamprayer, watch at all times!  The devil knows that your blessing is right now!  This is the set time for favor, Zion!  Don't give up in the fourth watch!  This is the year that we will see!  He is a God of the fourth watch!  Get ready for what God has for you!  Get ready for what you need, your prayer requests answered and made manifest in your life!  We repent and ask for forgiveness, God for wanting to give up in the struggle.  We must turn from the world and look to hills from which comes our help--our help comes from the Lord!  Thank You Lord for forgiving us with no condemnation, casting our sins into the sea.  Lord teach us how to forgive others that we may be forgiven!  Thank You Lord, that we can stand on Your word, no weapon formed against us shall prosper!  We are in the fourth watch!  It is time to walk it out, wearing the whole armor of God.  The struggle has made us better, wiser and stronger!  Some of us are in the fourth watch in our singleness, hold on God's word says, that a man finds a wife.  Get ready for reconciliation in your marriage, it is the fourth watch!  In your finances, get ready for God to show up in the fourth watch!  With your children, God is bringing everything together in the fourth watch.  Thank You God for the fourth watch.  He knows just how much we can bear.  God shows up in the fourth watch!  Hallelujah!  The disciples were mildly concerned in the first watch, by the second watch they be came worried, in the third watch they are looking and searching for another way--then in the fourth watch, they laid aside every weight that was besetting them, then Jesus shows up.  The watch is set in hours of three.  Hallelujah!  There are four watches for the night time.  We are not to worry, God is sending us what we need!  Trust and believe that!  It is fourth watch time!  The struggle is over, lay it down.  We can cast all of our cares on the Lord, for He cares for us!  God is showing up with His grace and His mercy, in the fourth watch.  Thank You God!  We won't let go until You bless us!  We have been wrestling all night long.  Fiveamprayer, tell the devil, "I can't let go until God blesses me!  I will stay in the struggle, through the first, second, third and fourth watches!"  We will watch and pray!  We won't let go until You bless us!  Speak His word back to Him, that is what He is listening for.  Why would you let go now?!  Go on and hold on in the fourth watch!  Don't let go until He blesses you!  You are in the fourth watch--For His Glory, Life by Design, Rising Star, Peaceful Rest, Now Faith, and King Baptist--2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.  Thank You God!  We will see, fiveamprayer!  Do you see it now?!  Thank You!  There is something about the number three!  Thank You God!  Hallelujah!  Thank Him for the fourth watch!  If if had not been for the Lord on our side, where would we be?  Visit us on facebook, it will encourage you.  Take time out to read these scriptures for yourself.  Have a blessed day!
