We are walking in today: We must apply the blood in all things!
Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. The power in the blood of Jesus, the song says, for there is power, power, wonder working power in the precious blood of the Lamb! This is to true! Christians have a full arsenal of power that is available to them for fighting the forces of the enemy--offensively and defensively. See? We got an offense and a defense--covered under the blood! However, in order for these weapons to be effective--we have to use them . The blood of Jesus was the defeat of the enemy. When Jesus hung on the cross as 100% man and 100% God, our redemption as sinful man, was secured! A nail in a sure place! It is Christ's sacrifice that is holding us up! Thank You Lord!! We now have access to the throne of God all because of the shedding of blood, that Jesus died on Calvary. The clincher is that the devil knows this bit of information and trembles when a born again believer knows the power of the blood of Jesus! This blood must be applied, in order to be effective! Just as in the old testament, when the law was released that the Children of Israel while in Egyptian slavery, were to apply the blood, first to the lintel and then to the two side door posts of their homes. This story was used to show that this protection was not automatic, the Israelites had to be obedient and apply the blood, then the results were received. Over the years I have heard many times that the devil can not cross the blood line. This bit of information is true, however if that line is not applied in the believer's life--the devil will take advantage of every ignorance in the believer's life. Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Paul says in the word of God, know him, lest he get the advantage of you (2 Corinthians 2:11). We must know the strategies of the enemy and know that he is the father of all lies, as Jesus called him. We are not to be passive in our battle with the forces of the enemy! We must be of sober and vigilant--1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. The Bible tells us, resist the devil and he will flee. This is why when we are under attack we cover ourselves in every situation with the holy blood of the Lord, Jesus Christ. When we are soaked in His blood, the enemy doesn't have a chance to do any thing at all! Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Jesus paid a price for us to be saved from the fires of hell, additionally we can enjoy a prosperous life here on Earth, by employing the spiritual resources that we have and that God has given us through His word. See? This is why this scripture is so eye opening--that many of us are perishing due to lack of knowledge of how things work according to His word, according to how He has already arranged everything from the beginning and according to the workings in the spirit. When is the last time that you applied the blood to situations in your life? Because when you begin to pray, I'm talking about the word says to pray without ceasing and everything comes by prayer and supplication. You need to apply the blood of Jesus to everything in your life!! Apply the blood of Jesus to your children. Go outside and on your front door posts and tell yourself this morning--I'm covered by the blood of Jesus Christ! It was the shedding of His blood that set us free! And there is still power in the blood! See--we can't go through Resurrection week without talking about the power of the blood. See! The blood done signed my name! It was nothing but the blood of Jesus that could make us whole again! That washes us white as snow, that gives us a chance! That is with us as we are going through. I know right now, that it was nothing but the blood of Jesus that was shed for me! It is His precious blood that has sealed us, fiveamprayer! It was the blood, but you have to apply the blood when you pray, cover yourself in the blood! Every time you close out your prayer--if you notice, we seal it in the blood/write it in the blood--there is power in the blood of Jesus Christ! We got up this morning because of the blood that is covering us! Thank You Lord! Hallelujah God! Fiveamprayer, the blood came streaming down just for us! Thank You God! We are to be a living sacrifice--look at that, one the persons that was with God from the beginning, eternally, came and submitted Himself to human limitations and death to restore us and with His work being finished and perfect. We are to be a living sacrifice, that is set aside for God's use and direction. Not just taking God's property just any where. Even if we get temporarily lost, God is still with us, letting us know that this is the way, walk in it. Follow the word, it will bring you out! The God that we serve is so great and mighty that He can use the simple things to a great use, all to confound the wise--set down your fleshly wisdom and intellect and take up God's thoughts and plans--they far exceed our own, even the person with the highest IQ is but a child in the eyes of God's passing thoughts! The praise is for the Creator not the creation, exclusive of the Creator! Where would we all be without His perfect plan for intervention to bring us back from the edge of certain death and separation from Him? That is the high, costly and expensive price that Christ paid with His own blood, silence and gentleness. What strength it would take, to not use the power in your hands to free yourself from suffering such enormous pain from the hands of who you are saving!? That is why God had to send, the word made flesh, mere man would free himself if he had the power to do so, instead of suffering such torture. So many of us balk at things that are much less painful. Thank You God that only You could bring us back to You! Look at His word this week--we are a living sacrifice; we will suffer; we have a nail in a sure place and then He comes today to let us know that we must apply the blood, in all things! There is nothing too hard for God! Apply the blood of Jesus to your marriage, He paid it all! All to Him, fiveamprayer, we owe! If we had 10,000 tongues we could not thank Him enough! It is not over until God says that it is over! No weapon formed against us shall prosper! Get up and seal this prayer in the blood of Jesus! Walk in this one!! Believe it and see it manifest in your life! We will see, He told us that we will see--are you paying attention? Are your eyes focused on God or on your problem?! He is God and more than able to handle all things! Hallelujah! No matter what you are facing, He is well able to handle! Thank You Jesus for the blood that You shed on Calvary. Thank You for all that You have done for me! He gets gooder and gooder! Think about the blood! He saved a awful wretch like me! Think about what He did for us--a nail in a sure place! Thank You for the blood! I remember what You did, brought me out and over! Though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, our Shepherd is with us! He is our Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Tsidkenu, Jehovah Rapha, Elohim, Emmanuel--He is always with us! It is God who is makes us able to stand! Remember, that if Jesus did not come and pay our debt in full--we would be--Isaiah 64:6(AMP) For we have all become like one who is unclean [ceremonially, like a leper], and all our righteousness (our best deeds of rightness and justice) is like filthy rags or a polluted garment; we all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away [far from God's favor, hurrying us toward destruction]. As Pastor Taffe teaches, that on your best day you are as filthy rags in comparison to the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ. Thank You Lord for letting us know that we needed to be saved and sending a word that drew us to You, seeking more and more of You, to find out about this Lord of lords and King of Kings to grow to be able to call You Father, Abba. Thank You God for how You just pour out Your love on us and keep drawing us to you in Your patient kindness! Fiveamprayer, remember that, His blood that was shed for us, for the remission of sins--He didn't have to do it, He prayed in the garden so hard until He sweat great drops of blood! He knew that He would have to suffer and let go of God's hand while taking on the sins of the world. The perfect sacrifice without spot, blemish or wrinkle, laid down His life for the love of the Father, that is the blood that will never loose it's power! Seal your prayers in the blood! Everything that we need, is found in God! He forgives us without condemnation. We are to forgive others to be forgiven. Thank You for Your grace, reconciliation and everlasting life! All because of the blood! No shedding of blood, then no remission of sins. Thank You Lord for saving a wretch like me! It was the blood! Think about it! Hallelujah God! It was the blood, it has set us free, delivered and restored us! Our name is written in the book of life because of the road that He took. They placed the crown of thorns on His head with the blood steaming down. Can't you hear the hammer ringing out? Can't you see the solders whipping our Savior? Oh the blood that has washed us and saved our souls! Hallelujah! Praise Him! Glory! We as believers must apply the blood, seal your prayers in the precious, mighty, matchless blood of Jesus! There is power in the blood! We have got to know how to pray! Declare, decree some things in the blood! Seal it in the blood, what ever you have been asking Him for--seal it in the blood of Jesus! Oh the blood of Jesus that makes us white as snow. You know that He took captivity captive!! Fiveamprayer, that is why we are free! John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. Soak yourself in the blood, no weapon formed against us shall prosper! Sometimes You have to remind us of the blood! Remind us of our holy communion, God. Cover fiveamprayer with Your precious blood, there is power in the blood. There is healing, restoration, life in the blood of Jesus. We repent for all that we have done--thank You, Lord for the blood! That You forgive us with no condemnation! We write in the blood, there is power in the blood--going forward we will apply the blood to seal every prayer we lift up to God.
We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit: Genesis 32:24-26 24) And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. 25) And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. 26) And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

Hallelujah God! We won't let go until You bless us! We won't give up because of the blood! You wake us up to brand new mercies and Your grace every day! This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it! The devil is already defeated! Demand, declare, and decree it in the blood of Jesus! The blood that never loses it's power! We are made more than overcomers!! The devil remembers the blood, take back what he has stole and cover it in the blood! Suit up in the whole armor of God and cover yourself in the blood! Know how to use your weapons! How to pray for yourself and to encourage yourself. Apply the blood of Jesus! Really get this one! Send up your prayers covered in the blood of Jesus!
