You shall exact the penalties for a person inflicting injury --Exodus 21:18-19 18 And if men strive together, and one smite another with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keepeth his bed: 19 If he rise again, and walk abroad upon his staff, then shall he that smote him be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed.
510. You shall avenge the death of a servant who has died by the rod --Exodus 21:20
And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.

Trials are a normal part of Christian life.  This is a part of the permissive will of Adonai.  We are to face our trials with prayer and supplication.  We are to count them all joy.  Fiveamprayer, let patience have it's perfect work!  The trials that we face will either defeat or develop us--based on our response.  If we love the Lord then our test was sent by God Almighty for His purpose.  Don't resent your test.  Consider what benefit it may bring.  There are 5 results from our tests:
1.  to direct us--some of the tests are to get us in the right direction that without the test we would continue in the same manner.  This motivates us to change
2.  to inspect us--This will reveal what is on the inside of us.  This shows us the areas where we need more work
3.  to correct us--There are some lessons that we only learn from pain and failure.  This should cause us to not visit the wrong way again
4.  to protect us--often a blessing in disguise and prevents a more tragic or damaging result
5.  to perfect us--when we respond to the test correctly it becomes a character builder.  Elohim is more concerned about out character than our comfort. One of the benefits of testing is that it is an open book test!  Fiveamprayer, that is the whole volume of the Book!!  We have to study to show ourselves approved.  This is not something that the Almighty just springs on us without access to how to get through the test.  Will you stand on His word, and His word alone?  Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.  Click here to listen to this again!
