Proverbs 3:1-4
1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
4 So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Psalm 119:81-88
81 My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.
82 Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
83 For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.
84 How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
85 The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law.
86 All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.
87 They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.
88 Quicken me after thy loving kindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.

Kaph
Ancient Name: Kaph
Pictograph: Open Palm
Meanings: Bend, Open, Allow, Tame
Sound: K (stop), Kh (spirant)

History & Reconstruction
The Ancient form of this letter is the open palm of a hand. The meanings of this letter are "bend" and "curve," from the shape of the palm, as well as to "tame" or "subdue" as one who has been bent to another's will.

The Modern Hebrew name for this letter is kaph, a Hebrew word meaning "palm" and is also the ancient name for this letter. This letter is pronounced as a "k," as in the word kaph, when used as a stop or as a "kh" (pronounced hard like the "ch" in the German name Bach), as in the word yalakh (to walk) when used as a spirant.

The Early Semitic evolved into in the Middle Semitic script. This letter continued to evolve into in the Late Semitic script and becoming the Modern Hebrew כ and the ך (final kaph). The Middle Semitic became the Greek and Roman K (written in the reverse direction from the Hebrew).

We have briefly seen seven Biblical Guidelines that must be followed, in order to correctly interpret the Scriptures.

Along with these Biblical Guidelines, there are many additional principles seen throughout the Scriptures, that will help us in our study and understanding of the Scriptures.

1.The need for the Holy Spirit to open the eyes & ears, so that we may 'see' the Scriptures:

Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, (Job 33:16)

Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. (Psalms 40:6)

Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. (Psalms 119:18)

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. (Jeremiah 33:3)

But their eyes were holden that they should not know him... And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. (Luke 24:16, 31)

2.The need for the Holy Spirit to reveal the true meaning to the Scriptures:

And the pattern of all that he had by the spirit, of the courts of the house of the LORD, and of all the chambers round about, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the dedicated things: (1Chronicles 28:12)

But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. (Job 32:8)

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. (John 16:13)

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. (1John 2:27)

3.The need for following the living examples of Messiah and His Disciples, as seen in Scripture:

For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. (John 13:15)

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

Be ye followers ['imitators'] of me, even as I also am of Christ. (1Corinthians 11:1)

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. (1John 2:6)

4.The need for Prayer to understand the Scriptures:

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. (Jeremiah 33:3)

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; (Colossians 1:9)

Pray without ceasing. (1Thessalonians 5:17)
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. (James 1:5)

5.The need for us to humble ourselves, in order to understand the Scriptures:

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (John 15:5)

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. (James 4:10)

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. 6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: (1Peter 5:5-6)

6. The need to hear and obey the Scriptures, as a pre-requisite for receiving further understanding:

He that turneth away his ear from hearing [hearken: to hear and obey] the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. (Proverbs 28:9)

Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. (Deuteronomy 4:6)

I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts. (Psalms 119:100)

My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: 2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. 3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. (Proverbs 3:1-4)

Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. (Hosea 6:3)

The above are some important, additional principles that must be considered, for those who choose to follow after Yahushua Messiah.

As we conclude this teaching and instructions of standing on the word of El Elyon. Men have a structural basis on how to interpret the scriptures line on line precept on precept. The paper that divides that Old and New testament tear it out. The entire word of El Elyon can verify itself with no needed commentary for those who are ready for meat. The need to rightly divide the word of truth and to be lead by the promise of the Ruach Hakodesh.  This is the promise and blessings on Yeshuahs disciples. We are never forsaken nor forgotten, but provided with instructions that are specifically connected to each and everyone who chose the path of life. Realizing we were already chosen to walk this path from before the foundations of this earth was made. Now as we look at the Manuel that gives us life and life more abundantly let us trust in the plans of our God and study His love letters to our soul, now with wisdom, understanding, and knowledge.
