2 marked by hypocrisy

Understanding the mind in the worlds definition by psychology which takes years of study for this profession to obtain. Mankind studies this profession from 4 to 10 years to gain a degree and even further because of the complexity of the mind. Understanding how the mind works and the vast variables. Is definitely in itself a life long study that only scratches the surface on the beauty of the mind. Compared to the creator of mankind's wisdom.

While to the master and creator of man and the intricacies of the body can and is described by The Most High in simplicity by His word.

Abba describes a double minded man, as having two souls. (Dipsuchos) in Greek meaning two souls. One soul with two options. One follows the commands of its creator and the other follows it’s own opinion or the opinions of other.

This causes a rift so to speak, a split in the mind to follow man made opinions or the instructions of El Elohim.

The Most High has stated in his word “ How long will you stand between two opinions” as well instructing that we can not serve two masters. The mind is torn between two souls wanting two different things at once.

1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

Matthew 6:24  No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

The NHEB translation says “limping between two opinions”. Limping in Hebrew forms the word pasachim. Which in Hebrew is the root word to pasach (passover). Stating , how long will you passover from one thing to another. Not being stable or anchored by what the Most High says versus the dictations of life and circumstances as the only choice. Being stable and steadfast in your commitments to Abba regardless of life’s ups and downs.

Will you be hot or cold? The same warning given to the Laodicean church as a idiom to the the last day believers in Yeshua.

Revelation 3:15-16 15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot. 16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth.

The word tells us that Abba is not the author of such confusion. The Greek word that describes being unstable is ἀστήρικτος. Which is the word that defines being stormed tossed. Describing a ship tossed back and forth by the storm.
Unable to clearly discern the way of truth as presented. Clearly with options for true teshuvah that is given to all mankind.

1 Corinthians 14:33 for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,

Isaiah 54:11 “You afflicted, tossed with storms, and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in beautiful colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires.

Trusting in the word of truth that brings us to a singleness and peace of mind. As we submit or lean not to our own understanding. But allowing the word of truth to cast down every imagination that exalts itself against the true knowledge of Elohim.

2 Corinthians 10:5-6 5 throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; 6 and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience will be made full.

So we come to the question of how do we walk in singleness of thought towards our Elohim? The only solution is to stay in connection to Abba by studying Abbas words the brings captivity captive and singleness of thought. Drawing near to Abba especially while He may be found. In this month of Elul. It is the time to become face to face.

The King is in the field. Meaning in this Hebraic Holy day. Abba promise us to meet us with unprecedented favor in the field. Face to face that denotes us to seek Him and His way and if we find ourselves lacking in any variance. Than teshuvah (to turn) from our ways, our thoughts our actions. And seek Him while he may be found.

Or be tossed to and fro by every wind that blows our opinions and understanding. As warns by the word to lean not unto our own understandings bit to acknowledge Abba and He will direct our paths.

Ephesians 4:7-8 7 But to each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ. 8 Therefore he says, “When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men.

James 4:8  Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded

Men of Torah let us not be double minded in our walk with The Most High. But seek Him in all that we do with fear and trembling as instructed by His word. Last bit least let us remember this parable spoken to Yeshuahs Talmidim.

Luke 13:6-9 6 He spoke this parable. “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it, and found none. 7 He said to the vine dresser, ‘Look, for these three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and found none. Cut it down. Why does it waste the soil?’
8 He answered, ‘Lord, leave it alone this year also, until I dig around it, and fertilize it. 9 And if it bears fruit next time, fine; but if not, you can cut it down.
