We are walking in today: Confirmation by the Word.
Matthew 1:18-25 18) Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19) Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. 20) But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21) And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22) Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23) Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. 24) Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: 25) And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. We must take a close look at what kind of man Joseph was in the word. Think about this seriously, your wife to be tells you she is pregnant, yet still a virgin, and by the way I conceived by the Holy Ghost. Verse 19 said, then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. When you think about it, he was still covering Mary, carrying the Son of God. He was a just man. God knows who to line you up with in this faith walk. He will send confirmation by His word. Verse 20 said, but while he thought on these things, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not, to take Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. God will always confirm the calling He has on your life. I have confirmation through fiveamprayer. God ordained this time, this line, and this divine destiny connection in each of us. Who can do this? but God!!!! Confirmation is defined as to establish the truth, accuracy, or genuineness, of; verify. There is always confirmation. Joseph was a man of obedience and action. Once you get confirmation move in God's direction and watch Him do the rest. Joseph is the true example of, don't just be a hearer of the word-- be a doer. Faith without works is dead. Don't miss your blessings after the confirmation. I know you heard God, now what!? This is your season for favor. God told you on yesterday, you are highly favored and blessed. What more confirmation do you need then the word of God. I thank God for Joseph, he covered the woman of God carrying the word. What a blessing to receive Word, from the Word, to cover the Word. Selah!!!! Yea and Amen!!! In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Confirmation by the Word!!! Glory to His name.
Think about Joesph, what kind of man he was. He moved immediately once he got confirmation. God comes to say, everything He has said--will come to pass. We can stand on Your word, God. Thank You for who You are. Thank You for sending Your Son, He died so that we may live. He is our Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Tsidkeenu, He is still here, standing on His word. Victory is right now. This is the time to call on Jesus. Thank You for confirmation, on the things we have been praying on. Get working, there is a shift going on--take your position in the word. Fiveamprayer stands on Your word. If it had not been for Your begotten Son, where would we be?! Thank You for Mary and Joseph who showed up in Your word, true to Your word. You change not, but go before us to make the crooked places straight. God shows up mightily. Thank You for Your Son, Lord. We would be lost a long time ago. Thank You for giving Your only begotten Son. That is why You tell us to count it all joy when we fall into the fiery trials, we always win--confirmation. The enemy has tried to press us in on all sides, we serve an awesome God, a living God--we win! You confirm somethings, we have been asking when and how. His word will do what He sent it to do. Thank You Lord. Joseph was sent a word to cover the Word, by the word. We cover prayer requests, those know and unknown. We lift up fiveamprayer, have them seek Your word, Lord--for heaven and earth shall pass away but Your word remains forever. We ask for forgiveness, for when You forgive there is no condemnation.
