We are walking in today: A Heart Just Like Yours.
Genesis 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. We have been asking God through prayer to fix things in our lives. Sometimes we pray the wrong prayer. We need to ask God to give us a heart just like God's. If we had a heart like God--it would change our circumstances. Exodus 25:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering. Ask God for a willing heart. Not my will, but Your will be done God. Leviticus 19:17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Please don't hold hate in your heart against your brothers and sisters. Imagine if we had a heart like God. A heart that forgives. Seek Him and you will find a way to forgive. Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. He will teach you how to forgive if you seek Him with all your heart and soul. Deuteronomy 4:39 Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else. You know within your heart only God can teach you to forgive. You have tried over and over and over again. Ask God to give you a heart like His. Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Deuteronomy 10:16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked. Pastor Anitha has been dealing with the condition of our hearts for two weeks now at For His Glory. You might want to circumcise your heart. Cut out hatred, unforgiveness, jealously, pride, and envy. Tell God I want a heart that forgives. A heart full of love, one with compassion just like Yours above, one that overcomes evil with goodness and love. Like it never happened, never holding a grudge. I want a heart that forgives, that's live and let live. One that loves over and over again. One that men can't offend, because Your word is so deep within. One that loves without price, like the LORD Jesus Christ. I want a heart that loves everybody. Even my enemies. When the ones that are closest, that I've known the longest--they hurt me the most. I still want to love them like you love me. Even through I'm hurting. God you know they hurt me deep. Oh what a heart to forgive, when the pain is so deep. It's so hard for us to speak about it to anyone. I give up my right to hold it against them with hatred inside. I want to walk like You, talk like You, just like You did. Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Fiveamprayer, we have been forgiven by the Lord. With all that we have done that needed to be forgiven--can't you forgive others?! Some of us are holding others hostage in unforgiveness, but we are really hurting ourselves. Some times we try to keep them bound because of offence, and end up bound ourselves. Do you want to be free? Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. Tell God I'm tired of being bound. Father my answer is yes!! I let it go. I know you got so much more for me. Father help me let it go!!! I don't want to be hindered by the spirit of offense. I let it all go!!! No matter what happened!!! I let it all go!! To God be the Glory.
Oh we want a heart like You God. We might want to cut somethings off this morning, envy, jealously, offense, unforgiveness and pride--out of our hearts. Let us have a heart like You Lord. Your ways are not our ways, thank You Jesus! Teach us to walk, talk and be like You. We let it go--no matter what happened. We turn it over to You,our Master. You show up in the broken pieces. We want a heart just like Yours, God. A heart that forgives, and continues to do so. A patience, and kind heart to others and ourselves. Psalms 36:10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart. We must not be easily offended. Let us be healed of any unforgiveness. Ask God for a heart like His. He is so worthy--so mighty! A heart that won't let go--that continues to press through. Somethings come against us--but we walk and respond in Your love. Take us over Lord,--humble us, have us to submit to You. Yes, we will let it go--we give it over to You. Help us to truly let it go--and not pick it back up. Don't let go--continue on like Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. The devil thought that he had you caught up in unforgiveness--he is the father of all lies. We need a heart that forgives. The Lord is a heart regulator. If we don't forgive, we are not forgiven. The devil thought he had us bound and tied up, not able to be used by God. The Lord has come this morning to set us free from that bondage--washing our hearts in forgiveness. Fiveamprayer, we are being set free!! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Lord! Seek God's heart, walk in forgiveness. Don't hold your brothers and sisters in debt, let them go--cancel all the debts, no longer keep track of offences. This will free you, and soften your heart to what the the Holy Spirit, is speaking to you. Hallelujah! We lift up fiveamprayer, we are telling, "God we let it go!" Husbands and wives, brothers and sisters let it go, release them, embrace them in forgiveness. Jesus is getting us cleaned up, because we asked for a heart like God's. We lift up prayer requests those known and unknown, have fiveamprayer know that You are an ever present help. Lord we lift up bereaving families, we know that absence from the body is presence with You, Lord. Thank You for the word this morning to have Your heart, a heart that continues to forgive. Teach us how to forgive like You Lord. We know that when You forgive there is no condemnation. We must forgive, so that we are forgiven.

Lord, we want a heart that forgives, over and over, and over again. A compassionate heart, like You, Lord. 1 Kings 8:50 And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them. We must forgive and have compassion on those who have wronged us, the Lord has forgiven us, many, many times. Thank You for a heart like Yours, God. Give us a clean heart. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Lord. Walk in the word today. Ask Him for a heart like His. You have been asking for the wrong thing--ask for a heart like God, you will be better able to deal with things in love.
