We are walking in today: Go To the Father and Commit Yourself Again.
Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. If you are truly looking to God to cover your thoughts, it's time to make another commitment to the Father. When you commit your works to God, He will establish your thoughts. Commit is defined as to put into charge or trust. Is God in charge or are you? Lord take charge as I put my trust in You. I commit myself to you. Established is defined as to found, institute, build, or bring into being on a firm or stable basis. Look what happens when you commit yourself to God, our lives become stable enough to stand through it all. God will establish our thoughts. I love how the Amplified Bible renders Proverbs 16:3 Roll your works upon the Lord (commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will and) so shall your plans be established and succeed. What a wonderful answer for all the things that go through our minds. Instead of sitting around thinking, thinking, thinking--if we simply commit our works: our plans, our children, our day, our moment, every choice completely. Then God will establish our thoughts. He will guide, lead, and conform our thoughts to His will. Then, all shall work out according to His perfect will. I can turn off the continual stream of questioning thoughts and worries, by making a decision each moment-- but especially those moments that I'm in doubt--to give it all over to Him. Let's truly be committed to the word of God, even in our moments. Sometimes we want to make the Christian life so much more complicated. God says--just commit your works to me, then I'll do the rest. Fiveamprayer say, "Lord, I commit all these things unto You. I place them in your hands, I will not fear, or struggle, or be anxious. I choose to simply--right now, trust it all to You. I give it to You and believe that You are going to establish my thoughts and my plans--and they will succeed by Your standards of success." Psalm 37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. How can we not commit ourselves to God, He committed Himself as a ransom for us. He is a God of His word. 2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. My God is a God of reconciliation!!!! 2 Timothy 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. 2 Timothy 1:14 That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us. Make a request to stay committed. 1 Peter 2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously. 1 Peter 4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. Lord, fiveamprayer has come to commit ourselves to You again. You and You alone, can establish our thoughts. As God told Abram in Genesis 17:7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. God has committed Himself to us--way back then, for we are the seed of Abraham. This commitment was made to a man who had yet to have children and to be called Abraham, father of many nations. Only God can hand down a commitment that would follow from generation to generation. Isaiah 14:24 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand. What God has planned, what He has thought will come to pass. He is the only one in control, we can trust Him to deliver on all that He has declared. Exodus 33:21-22 21) And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22) And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by. Because of our commitment we can stand by God, upon the Rock. He shall cover us with His hand. What other care can we expect from our Creator? Doesn't a loving Father, protect His children and draw them to Him. John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. Fiveamprayer, we are being drawn to the Lord, let us commit again to Him. Many of us have been studying the word and are new creatures. We are feeding our minds the things of God. As we learned yesterday that our sub mind holds our identity. Studying the word, renews your mind. You are not the same person that you used to be. Praise the Lord, no one else can change a person but God, if they choose. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Ephesians 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind. Commit to the Lord, He has never left you. Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. How much He loves us, fiveamprayer!! 1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us. We are made brand new in His presence. Keep spending time with Your Heavenly Father, He loves you! Psalm 116:1 I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Psalm 119:159 Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness. Thank You Lord for another word that is mending relationships--us back to You. Thank You Lord for Your patience as we have been wondering around looking for answers and not asking You, the Maker of all things. Fiveamprayer, keep seeking Him, draw nigh unto Him. Lord we ask for more and more of You. There is nothing that this world can offer us that is better than You. Hallelujah! Yea and Amen!!!
Get up this morning, committing yourself to the Lord. We come to lay ourselves down at the alter--committing to You. You shall establish our thoughts, Lord. Fiveamprayer, tell the Lord, not my will but Your will be done. We are coming to You Lord in submission, making a commitment to You. This Christian walk is not hard--commit to God knowing that He is in control, not us. We can make another request to be more committed. Keep pressing on, be committed to the word of God. It will never fail, not one word of the Lord has or ever will fail. Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. No matter what is coming against you, we know that what--we have His promise given in Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. We must be committed. Don't give up nor turn around. Are you committed to man? To your marriage? Exodus 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. What is getting your attention? Can anything or anyone else create the whole world, and keep everything working together through out a whole universe?! How could we serve anything else--being created by Him ourselves, and knowing it was created by the Lord as well. No one and nothing is worthy of worship, save God. Psalm 148:13 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. Thank You Lord for putting us in right standing with You, we must put Him in right standing in our lives--put Him first. Be committed to the Lord. In spite of what we may think--we are not in control, God is. Fiveamprayer, we come seeking, asking and knocking for the Lord. Don't get tired, this race is not given to the swift but to those that endure until the end. We shall reap the harvest if we faint not. Keep getting up every morning, seeking His face first. Fiveamprayer, tell Him, not our will but Your will be done. No matter what we are faced with, our commitment should not change. His commitment to us does not change! Psalm 85:4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease. Joel 2:12-14 amp 12) Therefore also now, says the Lord, turn and keep on coming to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning [until every hindrance is removed and the broken fellowship is restored]. 13) Rend your hearts and not your garments and return to the Lord, your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in loving-kindness; and He revokes His sentence of evil [when His conditions are met]. 14) Who knows but what He will turn, revoke your sentence [of evil], and leave a blessing behind Him [giving you the means with which to serve Him], even a cereal or meal offering and a drink offering for the Lord, your God? Test and trials will come, hold to His word. Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Are you anchored in His word? We must be committed to Him, so that He can cover our thoughts. We must seek Him on what to do in our marriages, with our children and on our jobs. Be committed to His word. We are not sufficient in ourselves, all sufficiency lies in You, Lord. Seek His direction and guidance in all areas of your life--in the things He has blessed you with and the things that were sent to teach you. Are you sharing His word with others? Share a scripture with someone today. Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. We are committed in the name of Jesus. We may bend but we won't break. Pray until you get your breakthrough. We will stay in the will of God. Fiveamprayer ask Him what will You have us to do? We must commit ourselves to You, Lord. Some times we fall down, but we know what Proverbs 24:16 says, For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. Keep getting back up, fiveamprayer. Stay in His will, don't give up, keep holding on until the end. Psalm 22:25-27 amp 25) My praise shall be of You in the great congregation. I will pay to Him my vows [made in the time of trouble] before them who fear (revere and worship) Him. 26) The poor and afflicted shall eat and be satisfied; they shall praise the Lord--they who [diligently] seek for, inquire of and for Him, and require Him [as their greatest need]. May your hearts be quickened now and forever! 27) All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall bow down and worship before You. Let us always abide in Him, He has told us that in James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. It is all for His glory. All praises belong to Him. All sufficiency is found in the Lord God Almighty. Thank You Lord, for being the center of our joy! We are committed to Your will, even through our tears--we are committed. Lord we want more and more of You. Lord we want to hear what you tell Your servant in, Matthew 25:23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. We are committed, no matter what the world brings against us--we know that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Forgive us for when we fall down, Lord. Thank You for provision for us to get back up, Your brand new mercies every morning. Make a commitment to God--we come to commit ourselves unto You. We lift up this prayer to You. We have made another request.
We write in the precious blood: 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
Welcome to the overflow....
God is granting our request. We told God, we are committing ourselves to You. We can trust Him with our marriages and children. Turn it all over to Him. Your children are His, He is just loaning them to you. Those who are married, the women should be seeking after the ways of the Proverbs 31 woman. Some times you must be still and be quiet. Go into your prayer closet and shut the door. Wives can win their husbands over with their conversation. Husbands you are to love your wife as Christ loved the church, giving even His very life for it. We can all walk in Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. Turn it over to the Lord, He will establish your thoughts. Give Him your will. Don't speak against what God has planned. We know that life and death are in the power of the tongue. We are walking in the abundance of the Lord in 2011. We have wisdom, knowledge and understanding. In seeking after His righteousness, all other things will be added unto us. The true treasure and prize is His presence and love. That is why He is answering our thoughts in this abundant season. We are increasing in our relationship with Him. Get into your prayer closet and tell God, "I am committing myself to You again." Thank You Lord for making a way for us to come back into Your presence. Read the scriptures for yourself today. Have a blessed day.
