We are walking in today: Taking The Shield Of Faith.
Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. In this battle we will take the shield of faith!!! Faith is defined as belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence. You might not see the enemy being defeated, but your faith does!! In this battle we have sent out our faith before us. Remember in 2010 we walked in favor and faith. Now take the shield of faith!!! Even if you can't see it--we have the victory!! We have a strong belief in God and His word!!! This is based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof!!!! Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. On fiveamprayer, we walk by faith and not by sight!! Ephesians 6:17-20 17) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18) Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19) And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20) For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. My faith in this battle causes me to speak boldly to the enemy!!! We have taken out the enemies communication!!! 2 Corinthians 10:15 Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly. The more our faith is increased, the more territory we will take!!! Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. We have access by faith in warfare. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We heard You, God, by faith when we took our battlefield position. We walk in your word daily by faith. We know our weapons are not carnal!!! Take the shield of faith and fight!!! Amen!!! Why is a shield assigned to faith in our armor? The answer is found in Daniel 3:17-18 17) If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18) But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. A shield in the natural guards the body, in the spiritual realm, the shield of faith protects our spirit man. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego could stand resolute on the promises of God. Because they knew by faith that God could keep them in all situations. God could stop the attack of the fiery furnace or raise them from the dead. Either way they would not put down their belief in the Almighty, even when faced with death. So let us take a page out of their book--so many of us are looking at the road of give up, and our life has not been threatened!? No matter the threat or consequence--will we be found in faith when God shows up to deliver us?! We have been getting built up by His word for some time now. Remember all to the reconstructions and renovations that God took us through. He is the Master Builder and wrote the blueprint. He is well able to orchestrate what ever needs to be accomplished. Keep God in the equation that is the only way that you will get the correct answer! When God is factored in then you are guaranteed success!! We must fight like never before, fiveamprayer!! Remember He told us months ago, that this is a faith walk. Will you walk this out by faith or by sight? Don't trust your eyes, they can be blurred and out of focus. Let God correct your vision, get in His word!! Faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God. This is our season of abundance--Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. A new thing, fiveamprayer! A way out of the wilderness and rivers in the desert--how many of us are wandering in the wilderness or looking for water in those desert places?! Keep walking by faith, He will show up! Stand and believe. Speak His word and believe. Keep your faith up before you, it is your first defense from the enemies attack. We must be like Shadrach, Meschach and Abendego that we will not change or move from our position of faith--even when facing a fiery furnace! We serve a mighty God that delivers us out of it all. Stop trying to tell God how to deliver you! Your job is to stay in faith, prayer and praise. God does all of the heavy lifting, He will handle bringing you out of what you are in. Stop trying and failing at delivering yourself out. You are not able--look to the One who is well able to supply all that we could ask or think. No more listening to lack, the devil's lie. Fiveamprayer, we serve a God of favor. Walk by faith, not by sight. Faith is our first line of defense. Keep swinging that sword, we may bend but won't break!! Put on the whole armor of God, have your shield of faith up and at the ready. Like the woman with the issue of blood, who pressed in to touch the hem of His garment. Knowing if I could just touch the hem of His garment, I will be made whole. That is walking by faith, and not by sight. Push on past the naysayers, we are keeping our ears tuned for the word of God--that is what leads us. We will not be redirected by worldly distractions, the economy, the recession--what did God say about your situation?! Hold to His word--Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Hold on to your faith, it can change your circumstances. Don't worry about this world, we are not of it! We stand covered in the blood, walking by faith, speaking His word out of our mouths. Fiveamprayer, has spent time in the word, we have a renewed mind. We are taking new territory with our increased faith. We are asking God to help our unbelief, with our increased faith. We can move mountains with our faith--take back everything that was stolen by the devil, our minds, joy, and peace. We walk by faith, and not by sight--our steps are ordered by the Lord. Don't look at what you see in the natural, look for what you can see in the spiritual. As Pastor Taffe said last week, we look to the Bible for our evidence--not the world. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of the things not seen. If we reside in heavenly places, shouldn't our vision and expectations be there also?! 1 Corinthians 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought. Stand on His word, fiveamprayer!! We are not after the ways of this world, only the souls for the up building of the kingdom. Luke 15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? That our walking by faith, may lead others to the Father! Hallelujah! Increase, increase! So continue to walk by faith, and not by sight--our steps are ordered by the Lord! Don't pay any attention to what you see, your natural sight can be fooled and faulty. Look to the hills from which comes your help, your help comes from the Lord! Hold to His word--Psalm 115:15 Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth. Deuteronomy 28:6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. Hold on to your shield of faith, fiveamprayer, quench the fiery darts of the enemy. We are covered by His blood--Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Tell yourself, as you walk by faith today, "the Lord has gone before me, what shall I fear?" Take up the shield of faith in this battle. We serve the God of the impossible. He can do all things. Believe it. He shall deliver on all of His promises. It is our faith that brings us out. The way out is already made, will you follow His word to get to your exit? Believe what God said, He is keeping you. He will not leave nor forsake us! This is a battle, a fight--we must be ready day after day. That is why we must stay in prayer, praise and study of His word. Suit up with the whole armor of God, daily. Faith is our defence. Trust the Lord, walk by faith--not by sight. We are not trusting what we see, presented by the father of all lies. Our God will bring us out, show up and change the situation for our good. Where is your faith in God? Where is it? With man things are impossible, but with God all things are possible. He has given us the faith to walk it out. This is a faith walk, our God shall supply all of our needs. Believe and stand on His word. He will pour out blessing on us that there will not be room enough to receive. Luke 5:4-7 4)Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5) And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 6) And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. 7) And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. An illustration that we would be so blessed that we would have to call others over to partake in the blessing with us! Amen, Hallelujah! He is so good. He gets gooder and gooder! Thank You Lord!! Get your eyes back on God, now is not the time to be distracted and not paying attention!! Get your focus back on God, or He will take away things until you get your focus right. Be careful what becomes your god. Keep the Almighty on the throne and Him alone. Like in some families there is a special chair for certain people, like oh don't sit there, that is granddad's chair. The same goes for God. He is the only one with a throne and no one else can sit there. You better push them off and keep the chair for only the Holy One! Get ready, fiveamprayer!! Our faith is our first line of defense. We lift up fiveamprayer, this morning, to You Lord. Have them to increase in their faith, it is the first line and takes all of the initial blows of the enemy. Keep them from being discouraged and in unbelief. Don't let the saints set down their faith. We must believe and walk by faith, not by sight. It is faith that heals us, holding to Your word, that by His stripes we were healed. You are our Jehovah Jireh, the One who Provides all that we need. Provision is already made for us! We just need mustard seed faith. Refocus and transform our minds, Lord. Forgive us for setting down our faith. Thank You for forgiving us, teach to forgive others so that we are forgiven. We lift up prayer requests those known and unknown. Have them to know that it is by our faith that we experience what we are expecting from God.
We write in the precious blood: 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

I know that Jabez had some mustard seed faith!! Making the request that he made, he knew that the Lord would deliver. So he stood believing until it was manifest in his life. No doubt nor wavering. We must walk this out too, with out doubt or wavering. Stay in your battlefield position, in prayer, fiveamprayer. At For His Glory Christian Fellowship, there is prayer going on around the clock. It is faith that delivers us and breaks the bands of the enemy. Walk by faith, not by sight. Trust like never before. Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? In this battle we have to fight, we are not alone the Lord goes before us. The first step that you take our of your home this morning tell yourself that I am walking by faith, not by sight-I am already in my new territory, already in my blessings. As Minister Davis shared on yesterday, that God has already done the work, we have not caught up yet, we are still standing in expectation. He has done a new thing, shall you not know it? Fiveamprayer, take a look around it is springing forth all around you!! Behold the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Take up the shield of faith and walk it out. It takes faith to walk it out. Walk by faith, not by sight, fiveamprayer. Have a blessed day!
