We are walking in today: The Harvest Is Truly Great!
Luke 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest.... by the, "Lord of the Harvest" is either meant God the Father, whose are all the elect, who has a hearty concern for them, and will have them, and will have them all gathered in, not one of them shall be left; or the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, who has the care and charge of the whole election of grace; who as He must, He will bring all in; and who has power sending forth laborers, and also this is proof of prayer being made to Christ. John 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. This is the petition the disciples of Christ were put upon making to the Lord of the harvest, on consideration of the present condition, multitudes of souls were in: they could make, qualify, and send out ministers themselves; this is not man's work--but God's. He only is able to furnish with ministerial gifts, to work upon, and powerfully incline the hearts of men to this service, to call and send them forth into it, and to assist and succeed them in it. The persons desired to be sent are "laborers"--faithful, diligent, and industrious preachers of the Gospel; such as lay out themselves: their time, talents, and strength in their Master's service. And do not indulge themselves in sloth and idleness. The place they are desired to be sent is, "into the harvest" into the field of the world, where God's elect lie, and there labor in preaching the Gospel; hoping for a divine blessing, and an almighty power to attend their ministration, for the conversion of sinners, and edification of saints. The request the disciples are directed to make, concerning these persons for this work, that the Lord of the harvest would "send" or "thrust" them "forth" implying power and authority, on the part of the sender, and backwardness on the part of those that are sent, through modesty: a sense of the greatness of the work, and of their own unworthiness and unfitness for it. Jesus visited not only the great and wealthy cities, but the poor villages: and there He preached, and there He healed. The souls of the meanest in the world are as precious to Christ, and should be so to us, as the souls of those who made the greatest figure. Christ is the Lord of harvest. Let's pray that many be raised up and sent forth. Who will labor in bringing souls to Christ? It is a sign that God is about to bestow some special mercy upon a people, when He stirs up, to pray for it, and commissions given to laborers in answer to prayer, are most likely to be successful. The harvest is truly great!!!! We must use the powerful tool God has placed in our hands--which is prayer!!!! This is what Jesus Himself asked us to do pray, the Lord of Harvest to send laborers into His harvest. It's Harvest Time for Souls!!!
When you think about harvest time, and this season of abundance, being blessed coming in and going out--when are you doing to get God's word out? How are you laboring to share the goodness of God with the world? He said overflow blessings, manna from heaven we are to tell others how God has brought us out and brought us through. We are not of this world, fiveamprayer, we must let the world know who it is that we serve!! 1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. We walk by faith and not by sight. He is our Healer our Friend, the maker of the way out of no way. God is blessing us and the harvest is truly great! Will you labor for the Lord in your harvest time? While you are going through and while receiving your blessings are you telling others about the goodness of the Lord? About how He has brought you through? How He has kept your mind when you should have went crazy? That you continue to stand on His word and it fails not? This is our time for harvest and abundance, no matter what the world says. His word is true and stands forever. This is harvest time, overflow season. Many are called but few are chosen. God is doing a new thing, shall ye not know it? Fiveamprayer, you should be in expectation of God moving in your life! That overflow blessing is not just for you, it is to be repeated in the ears of others to give hope and to let them know how you made it through. There is some one in the same situation that God has brought you out of. Your testimony will let them know that God has a way out for them too! With God for us, what can stand against us!? Go out and get in the field and tell the world all the good things that He has already done for you! God gives seed to the sower, we will reap in 2011 a thousand fold return!! Fiveamprayer, we can have the response of Job--Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. It is better to give than to receive! God is pouring out on us His many blessings! He is a way maker--tell that person who is looking for the way out of their situation. Let them know that God showed up and pulled you right out of that situation--right on time!! When you were down to the last dime, God showed up with favor and you kept on spending! Tell them that the joy of the Lord is your strength! That you are standing on the Rock, named Christ and that is why you are standing. It is harvest time, are you laboring in the fields to bring in the lost souls to the saving knowledge of God? 1 Corinthians 3:7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. So you may be the one who is sowing seed or giving water but it is the Lord that gives increase to the kingdom! We must do our part!! He has done so much for us! Continues to bring us an on time word, that speaks to right where we are! Nobody but God can do this!! Let someone know that nothing is too hard for God. Let them know, Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. That He is a keeper, even late in the midnight hour. Let them know that joy comes in the morning, though weeping may endure for the night. Tell them that He is sweet, I know. Tell them how good God has been to you. We need to hear about God in this time a season, why are believers not telling the good news? The devil is busy spreading fear, deceit and all kinds of bad news. Is there anyone going about telling about the goodness of our Lord? Christians with closed mouths, not sharing the testimonies that are hope to someone else!? There are some of us going around telling the latest gossip but not a word about the goodness of the Lord that we ourselves have experienced. James 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. It is the Lord that has shaped us and molded us into the men and women of God that are standing on His word. We serve the great I AM! Well go and run tell that! Walking around telling everything else. Where is the lifting up of the Lord's name? Where is the rehearsing of scriptures into the ears of lost souls? Where is the testimony of deliverance? Tell them how God kept you. That He orders and directs your steps. His is Jehovah Jireh, Emmanuel, Jehovah Tsidkenu. Tell them that He changes not. He gives joy unspeakable, peace that surpasses all understanding. When the children were out of control and issues in the marriage, God kept me. The harvest is great, are you gonna share your testimony? God kept you in the midst of it all. So many are lost. Christians must tell them how good God is. How will they know if we don't tell them?! Isaiah 9:2-3 2) The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. 3) Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. The blessing is on us fiveamprayer, so that we may be a blessing to others. That through our blessings others would be drawn to the Lord. That they would have a modern day testimony of being delivered and blessed. Let the many blessings of the Lord stir up the hope on the inside of those that are seeking a way out, Him name is Jesus! John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. God has been so good to you! He is so amazing! His grace is sufficient and we are still standing. Let them hear a word from you. We are blessed in a dry season, let them know that you are blessed to receive a car and that you are riding on grace! He is the way maker. Give Him the glory and the praise! Will you tell somebody else about the goodness of the Lord? We are still here, still standing only because of Him! We are standing on the word, and won't back down!! Tell them how you prayed and fasted to get a word from God on your situation. There are so many lost that are asking what must I do to be saved? How are we telling everything else but how God is keeping you? How you have peace in the middle of the storm. That He has given us the power of life and death in our tongues and we can tell the storm, peace be still. How you are resting on His word. Tell them about God! Don't miss the opportunity! We are blessed in this season to tell others about the goodness of our God! Call someone up and say that "God is able." Pick up the word and share some scriptures with someone. Why are you talking about what someone else said?! What did God's word say--Romans 1:5(AMP) It is through Him that we have received grace (God's unmerited favor) and [our] apostleship to promote obedience to the faith and make disciples for His name's sake among all the nations. Keep telling them, even if they don't want to hear it. Let them know, "I don't walk and talk like I used to. Our conversations will be changing to a heavenly agenda." It is God that can change their situation, and their mindset. You are gonna loose some some friends and family in this walk. But you must keep walking with Him. Look at scripture, Jesus had some that stopped walking with Him-- John 6:66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. What does it accomplish a man if he loose his soul for gain of the world?! Deuteronomy 5:32 Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. Proverbs 4:27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil. Tell them that God is able. Let them know who you serve!! Where do you stand? Who is on the Lord's side? The harvest is great! Will you tell someone, He gets gooder and gooder? He is water when thirsty and bread when hungry. God will keep you in a famine, give someone your testimony today! God produces in a dry season. Labors get out there and share the word of God with someone! Give out 1 Chronicles 4:10, the prayer of Jabez--we have been walking in that for months now. Fiveamprayer it is harvest time. All this weekend repeat this scripture to yourself. We have been saying it on fiveamprayer for many mornings now. What are you gonna do, fiveamprayer? It is on you! Life by Design and For His Glory what are you gonna do? It is on you! God is good and He is able! All the time! Tell someone about what God has done for you. The harvest is great, what are you doing? Don't be a Sunday Christian--what are you gonna do? The Lord keeps on keeping us, and blessing us! When was the last time that you invited someone to church? "Come on a go to church with me." Tell them at the bank, at the store, at work about how good God is! How when your money ran out, favor kept on spending. Share what God has done for you with someone else. We are blessed to be a blessing to others. Don't eat your last seed--sow it! He is doing something new thing shall ye not know it?! Don't miss Him! What are you gonna do? Tell them about God this weekend! It is your time to share with others the greatness of God! Hallelujah! Obedience is better than sacrifice. Obey His word--sit on this word, wait to see what the end will be. His grace is sufficient. It is harvest time and God is pouring out blessings, but will you tell others about how God has and is blessing you? Everyday we wake up to His brand new mercies!! He has done so much for us that He does not have to do another thing! How can we count up the many blessings that He has poured out on us!! This morning, we lift up fiveamprayer to spread word about His Word. We have so many labors on the line. We stand in believing the healing for Richard Lewis, we know that by His stripes that he is healed. We ask for forgiveness for not telling others about how You delivered us out, kept us and blessed us. You are able, a maker out of no way, that You died so that we can live. So many missed opportunities! Thank You Lord for showing up today with this word! We can talk about movies, TV shows and sporting events and everything else. Why not share why you have joy unspeakable? Why not share how He brought you up out of that thing? Why not speak a timely word that lets them know that God is still real and still on the throne! Forgive us for talking about all of the doubts and fears and stopping short of sharing that we press in to trust You in spite of what the world says. If we don't stand up to be counted as followers of Christ then we will be counted with those without direction. We know that the Lord orders our steps, our actions, our thoughts--because we spend time in study of His word and in prayer. Be not conformed to this world. Stand out for Jesus! Stand up for Jesus! You know that the things that are set aside for His use are just that, dedicated and separated from everything else. 2 Chronicles 5:1 Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God. We have been purchased by the blood and set aside for His use. We are to be used to tell others and be living examples of God showing up mighty in the earth. Let others know about the goodness of our Father! Thank You Lord for forgiving us with no condemnation. A righteous man may fall several times but he gets back up! Get back up fiveamprayer, tell them about the wonders, the patience, the love of God! It is your time--what are you gonna do? Labors of Your word--Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
We seal this prayer in the precious blood: 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Fiveamprayer you better tell somebody about the Lord! It is harvest time! Don't be weary in well doing--you shall reap the harvest if you faint not. It is harvest time. You better start expecting something from God. We are to spread the good news about the Lord. Are you telling others about Gospelcentro? Life by Design's Women's Conference? Calling into the recording of the call? You know that God has a word for every situation that we are all in. Are you sharing or directing others to the scriptures to hear from God? Thank You for this word God!! Only God can bring us a word like this! Did you tell somebody about His word? His goodness? His love? He is blessing us to tell others to be blessed too. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. It is better to give than to receive. Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. We know that God is not lacking in giving anything good to His children. We can give freely, knowing that it is God that blesses us. God blessing others does not diminish our blessing--God has more than enough for all of us! Thank You Lord. So why not share the goodness of God, now you will have someone else to celebrate with! So next time you want to have a praise party--we have put away the pity parties, you will have more people to put on the guest list! Thank You Lord for blessing us so! Causing men to give unto our bosom. Walk in this word today! The harvest is great! Tell someone how you made it through, holding on to His unchanging hand! That you are still here and still standing because you are standing on the Rock! Tell someone about the goodness of the Lord. Tell them where ever you go.
