Christ Holds All Things Together.

We are walking in today:  Christ Holds All Things Together.

Colossians 1:17 (NIV) He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.  As most of you know that I love the King James version.  I have many scriptures memorized from the King James version, but I love the way the the NIV captures the spirit of this verse.  Jesus is truly holding everything together!  We live in a world of tremendous uncertainties and anxiety, Christ warns that as the end times are upon us, that there will be times of perplexities on the earth and distress in the nations.  Perplexities are problems or challenges of which there seems to be no logical answer or solution. Many of the world seem to be fearing, like a chicken little scenario, that the sky is falling.  We are truly living in an age where pages of the Bible prophecy are literally being fulfilled before our very eyes and in the news.  The Bible speaks of peace that surpasses all understanding.  This is not merely positive thinking or new age meditation technique.  It is literally a supernatural peace from the Almighty God.  This is some thing beyond the realm of human understanding that it doesn't make sense to the natural mind.  That is not surprising since Paul told the Corinthians in, 1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  This is not something that is just conjured up through positive confession or attending an seminar.  This seems to be the method of many Christian goers prefer.  However there are really no shortcuts when it comes to building your relationship with the Heavenly Father.  This peace is a fruit of the spirit.  the book of Galatians, list a variety of virtues, which are considered fruits of the spirit.  The interesting thing about fruit is that it grows as a natural process of being attached to the root, vine or tree.   We don't see apple trees struggling to produce or peach trees agonizing to bring forth fruit.  Jesus told a parable about the vine and branches, in John 15.  If we abide--continue literally to remain in Him, they we really have no choice but to bear fruit.  It is the natural byproduct of spending time in His presence.  The apostle Paul's greeting of choice in most of his epistles is grace and peace.  I don't think that it is any accident that peace is subsequent to receiving the grace of God.  See He told us about resting, on yesterday not wrestling.  The grace of God is what gives us the ability to receive the peace of God--which surpasses all understanding.  The idea of peace in the Hebrew, is the word shalom--is much more than an absence of war or calamity . It goes to the very heart of human beings--it permeates every aspect of their lives.  When a man or woman has peace, they have tremendous victory.  It is evident from the epistle address that the Colossians were contending with false doctrines.  It appears that some felt that Christ wasn't sufficient.  That they needed more meditation of the angels, or various rituals of observance of certain days, ect.  Paul under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, left no doubt as to the sufficiency of Christ and His atoning work.  In no uncertain terms, he told them that Jesus is holding everything together.  We can write volumes, just speaking about the divinity of the Lord, Jesus Christ.  Many false doctrines and cultures have been formed because of  the misunderstanding or outright denial of the divinity of Jesus Christ.  John left no question of the eternal nature of the Son of God--John 1:1-3 1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2) The same was in the beginning with God. 3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  Those familiar with the book of Genesis can account for the creation which immediately see in the parables.  Especially them that exist, that were made by Christ.  The same problems that the Colossians faced are evident today.  Despite the fact that God is holding everything together.  We see the world doing everything it can to deny Him, or refuse to acknowledge His Lordship.  The scriptures say that all of creations is groaning to be redeemed.  The reason we see the sea and waves roaring and great earthquakes is because the creation is groaning for redemption.  Even though it  may seem that things can't get any worse, and they will during the tribulation period--if you believe that the Bible is true doctrine.  God is still in control.  Jesus is holding it all together.  The reason you haven't lost your mind and your faith is not shattered--Jesus is holding it, the fabric of your life together.  Christ said that the very hairs on our head are numbered.  That we are much more valuable than many sparrows.  None of which fall to the ground without God knowing about it.  You may be tempted to believe that God had some how forsaked you or that He has no idea where you are.  But listen to me, fiveamprayer!  You can rest assured that Jesus is holding you together!  The same Christ that created the world is still holding it together.  He is the same yesterday, today and forever more.  You need to know right now that God is the one who builds our house.  As a matter of fact, He establishes it.  The Bible says, Psalm 127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
I don't know about you, but sometimes when you are going through it feels like you are falling apart.  Jesus is holding us together.  Trust and rest in Him!  He knows the number of hairs on your head.  Through every storm, in your marriage, finances, health--He holds it together!  Fiveamprayer what are you holding on to?  Is it His word?!  The phrase hold it together is a common one.  We use it to suggest that we are in control and have the ability to keep things on track with our own strength and power.  How has that worked out?!  It is the Lord that strengthens us and the power and ability only lies in Him to keep us in every situation!  So now we know where we should be looking, to Jesus--He is holding us together.  He is the reason that we don't fall apart and crumble.  The word made flesh is holding us together and holding us down.  We don't have to worry if we will make it, just remain in Him!  It is He that put this all in motion in the beginning--Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  So the Creator that has the power to create is responsible for the creation.  So that would let us know that is why we can not hold it together on our own--without Him!  That power and ability only lies in Him!!  And on yesterday He told us that we can have complete rest in Him!!  Hallelujah!  He is holding it all together!  Obedience is better than sacrifice.  You will see in this year of manifestation and revelation.  God is teaching us His way.  The enemy comes to attack us, look to God--He is holding us all together.  Fiveamprayer, we don't have to worry about keeping it together, we are not able to do so, look to Him who is well able!!  Let God shape and mold you, into the the shape that He desires.  Christ is holding it all together in our marriages, He is the God of reconciliation; finances, when the money runs out favor keeps on spending.  Our God is the God of more than enough!  It is by His grace and mercy.  He is a very present help in a time of trouble!  He shows up in our broken pieces.  He is our intercessor--Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.  Thank You for shedding Your blood for us on Calvary!  It is Christ who holds us together!!  Call on His name, the enemy has to flee!  God is the same yesterday, today and forever more!  Hold on, He is putting it all back together.  This is the year of the overflow!!  We want more of You, God and less of us!  He is the Creator, is an All Knowing God!  Seek and we shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto us!  Call on His name, we just need to be still to hear His answer.  We have perfect peace with our minds stayed on Him!  Jesus, holds us together!  So many of us should have been crazy by now, lost it all--but God! We all have some kind of issue, like the woman with the issue of blood--reach out and touch the hem of His garment.  Reach, seek and push through the crowd for He that holds it all together!  Walk in this one, fiveamprayer!!  He is the way out of no way!  He goes before us making the crooked straight.  He has more than one way to deliver us, to bless us!  Never put a question mark where God has put a period!  Stop wrestling, He has given us complete rest!  Job 23:10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.  Fiveamprayer we are to count it all joy!  He is holding us together!!  Don't get into fear, that is not even in our DNA!  We have been given a spirit of power, love and sound mind!  Don't get out of position!  Hold your course--seek His face, God answers us in prayer.  Thought it was gonna fall apart--Christ is holding it all together!  Turn it over to Him!  God is in control, not you!!  No matter how much you plan or think about it, you do not control the outcome!!  Save your time and energy for the work that God has for you to do, not trying and failing at His job!  Get yourself out of the way, really walk in His word, not being a listener only!  He can give us more than we could ask or think.  The enemy wants you to let go, to give in and continue to spin your wheels, doing things your own way--out side of God.  Don't give up before God finishes teaching you, refining you, shaping you.  Look to God, He gives peace that surpasses all understanding!!  Christ holds it all together!!  He knows the plans that He has for us, thoughts of good not of evil to give us an expected end.  We are to be still and know that He is God!  That there is no weapon that is formed against us that shall prosper.  Don't move or fret!  Look to Christ, He is holding it all together!  He knew that you needed a way out, that you were getting tired of trying to hold on all by yourself.  Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  Thank You Lord for being our help!  Hallelujah!  We lift up fiveamprayer--someone was about to give up and throw in the towel.  God said not, so!!  Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all!  He is holding us together!  We lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown, there is a peaceful presence of God surrounding us, this morning!  God is encamping around us, He has a herded, going as He directs.  God has a circle around us--submit to His will, set down your own.  That is why you are still here, He is holding you together!  Every little piece is about to line up--He is holding you together!!  Some times we get out of position--stay in your lane!!  Don't turn around now!!  Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind!!   Lord we come to ask for Your forgiveness.  Many times we feel that we know and are able to go on without You.  Thank You for Your patience and teaching us that we are to rely on You.  That all sufficiency is found in You, Lord.  Thank You for casting our sins into the sea that they be remembered no more!  Thank You Lord, for forgiving us with no condemnatinon.  Teach us how to forgive others so that we are forgiven as well.

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit:  Lord, hold me together, put me back together and have me to walk as You lead!!

2012 is the year that we will see!  Time to walk in your God given authority.  Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for God is with me!  Some things have to be taken by force--all that the devil stole from us!  Christ is holding us together!  Continue to walk hand in hand with God, fiveamprayer!!  God is holding us together, and can't no devil in hell stop us!!  Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I am the church, you are the church, it is not about the building!!  1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?  See God in the midst of it all!  He is holding it together!  All things are working for the good of those that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.  Greater is He that is in us, than he that is in this world.  God lead us as You see fit, have us to walk as You guide out footsteps.  Walk in the Spirit of the Lord, there is liberty!  Who the Son sets free, is free indeed!  God has given us our freedom from the world, walk in it!  Hallelujah God!  Nevertheless, not our will but Thy will be done! Jesus paid it all, to Him we owe!  He give us choices--Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.  Who is on the Lord's side?!  With God for us who can stand against us?!  Christ is holding you together in your marriage, health, and mind.  He is creating a way for you!  Hallelujah God!  Taste and see that the Lord is good!  He is gooder and gooder!  He is holding us together!  All things are possible for Him!!  It is not about us, it is all about Him!  Give God all of the glory!  We have to stay in trust and take the next step--we are at the open door.  Will you walk through it?!  He is holding it all together!  Thank You God!  The devil wants us to be scared and second guessing You.  There is no doubt or worry in You, so why are we in doubt or worry?!  That is not of God!!  Set it down and don't pick it back up!!  God is holding us together, He is our El Shaddai, He has put His seal on us.  Many are called, but few are chosen.  He is holding us together.  Walk it out!  Take the next step, don't second guess--walk it out!!  Don't talk about it, be about it!  Walk it out!  In your marriage, walk it out!  Christ is holding you together!  Come boldly before the Lord.  Don't be scared.  He will speak of things higher than you, but His ways are not our ways, nor His thoughts like our thoughts.  Walk it out!!  Christ is holding all things together!    Only God can say when it is over!  The devil is still a liar, he is the father of all lies.  Don't believe every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.  Those thoughts are to be cast down, under our feet, trampled upon.  You are in a fight, this is war time!  The battle was never ours it is the Lords!  Stop getting in your flesh, the devil is a liar!  Trust and believe what His word says.  What ever someone brings to you, ask them to show that to you in the Bible or else don't trust it.  In your marriage a praying wife can save her husband.  Christ holds all things together!  Thank You God!  When you walk with Him long enough, He will answer during your prayers.  Seek Him first!  He is holding us together!  So why are to seeking help from everyone else!?  You are to call on the name of Jesus!  Do you need a witness?  Ask Jabez who God granted that which he requested.  He prayed to God asking Him, O if Thou would bless me indeed!  Thank You God!!  You never put more on us than we can bear, why because You are holding us together!  Lay aside every weight and cast your cares on Him.  He is holding us together!  Praise God!  He has set us free!  Thank You God, give Him all of the glory!  The breakthrough is in your praise!  Not by power nor by might but by His Spirit!  As Job said, though He slays me, yet will I trust Him!!  He is holding us together!  Look at Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, Lazarus, David all witness of being kept by God.  Proof that He will hold you together!!  No matter what you are facing, a fiery furnace, death, pressed by enemies on every side.  Christ will hold you together!  He is God-- that got up on the third day, took back the keys to the kingdom.  Christ is holding us together!  Walk in this weekend meditation, fiveamprayer!!  Jesus is holding us all together!  Have a supernatural blessed weekend.
